Excellent food and drinks, well priced and happy hour is great value, good choice of drinks and extensive food menu, ask about the food specials.

They’ve done quite a nice job a recreating an Irish Bar here but the Fish & Chips wasn’t great (chips were ok but fish was a bit hard/meaty) and barman wasn’t the happiest bunny. Stella was good. Plenty of people here and a decent atmosphere…

This is a great little gem in the financial district. Reasonably priced , especially for the area , great food & drinks. The service is warm & friendly. Ask for Mary if you're visiting.

Passed by here a few times and the sign always grabbed me. Didn’t realize that there are 2 entrances. Had a pint of Guinness and a shot of whiskey on a cold rainy Sunday.

We ate here a couple of times. The place was very quiet as the usual Wall St crowd were on holidays. The good and service has always been excellent.

Called in by chance for a late Saturday lunch. Very happy that we did a lovely venue with great service. We had lunch of a Reuben and beef rib sliders. Both were delicious especially the sliders. Definitely worth a visit if in the Wall Street area

Good pub food, fun pub atmosphere and friendly service.

Was walling by and decided to drop in. Good prices, large selection and no sports on the tv. So, great place. I was able to enjoy a conversation with my friend over a drink. The food looked and smelt good as well, but didn't have a chance to sample it. If you're down in the financial district, drop by. Seems like they a happy hour special all day sunday.

Came across this pub by chance when walking from Wall Street to the Staten Island ferry area. What a hidden gem. Special mention for Julie who was very friendly and welcoming. Good choice of beers and spirits particularly the gin selection. We sampled the gjns which were extra strong in order to calm our nerves ready for the helicopter ride. Prices were reasonable for New York. Enjoyed the experience particularly chatting with Julie who is a cocker spaniel dog lover. Highly recommend. One of the best bars we visited in terms of atmosphere, prices, drink selection and welcome.

I would normally have gone with a four star , very good. It was certainly better than average. The thing that I really wanted to see was some more of the “old world” charm and hear some Irish brogue. The place has been around since the 1960s, I believe. From the outside view I thought I might get that old style feel and I’m sure it was like that years ago. I imagine that modernization and renovation has changed the character. It was very nice and modern inside. It had plenty of room and lots of TVs. The Shepard’s Pie was very good and the service was also quite good. The Guinness was perfect of course. If I was looking for a regular sports bar pub with good food this would certainly have hit the mark. But, for a traditional, old world feel, Irish Pub, I think it has left too much in the past.

From the minute we sat down, Anthony took good care of us. He worked the bar, took our order, and brought our food. He was super friendly and helpful. Even in the south, they could take a lesson from this New Yorker on hospitality. Now on to the food. We ordered the fish and chips and shepherds pie. Both were excellent. The gravy in the shepherds pie was very rich and flavorful. The pub battered cod was outstanding and honestly, the fries were even great. Just a warning, no parking and you have to walk under scaffolds ( in August 2025) to get here. Great tavern in the financial district. Highly recommended.

Great food and good drinks. Came for a quick lunch and the service was good! Plenty of irish decor and charm. Looking forward to a return trip!

Relatively inexpensive place near Wall Street in an area of ridiculously high priced everything. It's open late while most things in the financial district shut down relatively early compared to the rest of Manhattan. There always seems to be a crowd, and the bartenders are very friendly and like to talk. Food is above average bar food. Drinks are priced at what you would expect at a bar anywhere other than NYC. The place has been around for a long time and although I didn't research it, there seems to be a long history behind it if you're into that sort of thing.

The Killarney Rose is a hidden gem, tucked around the corner from the hustle and bustle of Wall Street. The pint of Guinness was poured perfectly, and would have passed muster on Temple Bar. We both tried variations on the pastrami sandwich, one with hot deli mustard and one with thousand island. Both were great. The fries were crisp and hot. I'll be back. This one's a keeper.

Very crowded, loud but great atmosphere. Good food and drink. Easy walking distance from Battery Park. Would go again. Fun spot.

Went there on 2 occasions one to eat and one for a quick drink. Meal good and prices favourable and drinks good price too compared to our hotel over road

The service was very good and the food was well above average. The price was very reasonable. Having eaten in a number of restaurants in this location I would recommend this one if you're timing is short and you still want really good non fast food. I personally would recommend the flatbread... it was excellent.

Went in for a snack and a drink on 2nd July when most New Yorkers had shipped out for the weekend so was quite quiet. Barman on a Sat night is a children's nurse weekdays and is a really nice guy. Just had snack food Nachos and sandwiches, which were great and plentiful but not represntative of the range of food on offer. A good range of drinks and huge selection of whisky . Reasonable prices and tucked away between Water Street and Wall St so you need to be looking for it . Hope to make another trip before we leave NY.

The food was amazing! It is a self seating establishment, but the staff were quick to serve us once we sat down. The atmosphere is very Irish pub, but accomodstes families as well as bar goers. The pastrami dishes have pastrami that is a bit thickly cut but the flavor and plating was very nice. I highly recommend the shepherd's pie as well. This is a 4 star review because there was a hair in my shepherd's pie, but they were very understanding and brought me a new one, and removed the dish from my family's bill.

I love a good Irish pub, and this is indeed a good one. I found this place purely by strolling around and found it to be a very pleasant respite from the activity of the financial district. Tucked away on a quiet narrow street, you'd never guess you're in lower Manhatten. From the moment I walked in, I found Kilarny Rose to be a charming and inviting place for a pint and a bite to eat. The bartender / server was attentive and knowledgeable, and the atmosphere was as cozy as you would expect of an Irish pub. The food was the only part that didn't really excite me all that much, but I may have just chosen poorly. There were plenty of other items on the menu that looked inviting, but I chose the roast beef sandwich, which was okay, but not great. Even still, this is a place I am very likely to visit again.

An authentic Irish pub off of Wall Street, a little hard to find, but more than worth the effort. Good ale; great Shepherd's pie. Tour the pictures on the wall, talk to John the Bartender (from the Emerald Isle) and talk to the Owner. A rich verbal history here and a delight to meet.

Lovely pub with Irish staff. Drinks are really reasonably priced and they do buckets of drinks which are really good value. Warm and cosy.

One of the few authentic local Irish pubs located in downtown Manhattan. Great place to grab lunch and a few drinks. Friendly and attentive bartenders and waitstaff.

Dined here on a quiet Saturday night, end of Oct., and glad to have found it after viewing some pricier menus on Stone St. Good to get in out of the bit of rain that started re. oncoming Hurricane Sandy!! Good amount of food and good value. My husband and I had the Shepard's pie, and it came piping hot, just the way we like it!; had to wait for it to cool. Our teenagers enjoyed their fish and chip meals. TV's available for sports lovers. Our waiter was very quiet; he took our orders, delivered our meals relatively quickly, and that was that. I had to go to the bar to ask for something, as he never looked/came over to see if we were okay/needed anything/if everything was satisfactory. Really only came back to clear plates, and give the 'bill'. At least we got our meals quick enough; that's all that matters, and that they were tasty!! Service rating would have been a bit higher, if waiter 'checked-back' on us earlier. I know he was serving behind the bar, but table customers matter as well!

My friends and I always visit the Killarney Rose on our annual NYC trip. So much history down around Pearl Street. I just learned that Herman Melville was born there. Sometimes we get to NYC 2 or 3 times a year so we get to see the owner John, Traci, Andy, Owen, Luke and all the other wonderful friends there more than once. The food is great, drinks are good too. We will be back in March. A big hello to Jessie.

A traditional "Irish" boozer in the heart of the finance district. The staff are amazing as they serve an army of drinkers in an air of controlled chaos. Decent choice of interesting beers, vast array of spirits and cocktails which would satisfy the most hardened of boozers. Did not try the food though it looked as if it did a steady trade. For a warm home on a cold day you could do much much worse.

This was also handy for our hotel (Andaz). Consistently good bar with daily specials and great service. Prices are also favourable.

Favourite bar in NYC, visit every time we’re in the City. Excellent service and great value. Really welcoming place with friendly attentive bar staff (special shout out to Tim!) There are no egos in this place! Get yourself in there for a toasty tipple. Never fails to deliver. Thank you!

We found ourselves in the Financial District & hungry! We remembered this Irish Pub from before, but had not eaten there. I am so glad we did this time! The waiter was Irish and super friendly! The food was really tasty - great fish & chips! Loved the atmosphere!!!

Came here for lunch and drinks while staying at the Andaz Wall Street and we had a great time! From the bartender to the waitress, all were pleasant and offered recommendations for a tasty drink. The food was really good too, pleasantly surprised! Would definitely pop back in here next time we are in FiDi.

They did not accept to serve us burger and fries because we hesitate to take alcohol. Then after showing our ID saying we were avle to buy beers we were ejected with insults. Still shocked about what happened.

This spot seems like a great hangout for drinks or pub food at an affordable price. The pub is very well lit, has reasonable drinks prices and seems less grimy than other pubs in the area.

Best bar in New York by far the staff were fantastic the craic was mighty and the drinks were superb. Big shout out to Collette she was deadly such an asset to the business the guy working along side her was fantastic as well but I didn’t get his name. The owner John was the most charming guy to have a chat with wish I’d have known sooner he had been a previous head chef as I’d loved to have tried his food. Thanks to you all for making our night out a memorable one big love from the Irish ones. Ps thanks for the newspaper :)

We wandered over to Killarney Rose for some pub food and drinks and we were surprised to see they were having a Thanksgiving weekend special with $5 draft and bottled beers and $5 Stoli's vodka cocktails, both very good deals! I had 2 different craft brews and my wife had 2 Stoli's cocktails, the only brews excluded from the taps were the hard ciders. We tried the jumbo Asian wings and found them tasty with not too much of a kick. My wife had the winner out of the food we chose, the Thai Coconut Shrimp Wrap...very tasty! My beer battered Cod with fries, (fish & chips) was just okay...fried a bit too much for my taste. All in all a good experience and our 2 female servers were very friendly as well.

Hopped of the tour bus for a cigar, wondered in for a pint. Cold beer, great service, nice spot. Would go back.

The food is also ace and the service is good too. Drinks are really good value and a pint on the weekend is actually cheaper than in the uk at $4.50. Try the wings, they're brill. A great place to catch the sports on the weekend and child friendly too.

A home away from home! I was dissapointed to see the placed renovated and the old bartenders (Brady, Patrick, Leighy) no longer there but has definately improved overall and has a great pub vibe. The food is still hearty and good.

The selection of drinks is good, and they offer good food and service. It's worth a stop for a quick bite.

Bartenders were attentive and nice. Great atmosphere for after work crowd. Great selection of whiskeys and scotch

I came in here for drinks one afternoon and the place was very nice, barman nice...so I brought my family in later for food. Potato skins were lovely...ribs, shepherds pie and fish/chips very nice too...the ribs deserve a special mention! We came back yesterday for nachos and fish/chips. Waitress was very nice and pleasant, and the atmosphere was very good too.

Trying to stay away from Times Square during New Years brought us to lower Manhattan. The food and service was great. The bartender was friendly and attentive. The wrap was everything I expected and the drinks were incredibly priced. Well worth the visit for more reasons than one. We will be back when we return to the area.

Really great Irish pub atmosphere. Best Guinness outside of Ireland I've had. Food is really good and service was great. Good price considering it's in the heart of the financial district.

Good place to grab drinks and food - Friendly and attentive wait-staff - I have had the KT Burger, Spicy BLT, Calif. Chicken Wrap and the Quesadilla Cajun Chicken - all very good as you can see I have been there 4 times and will go back again

We "adopted" the Killarney Rose during our 4 night stay. A brilliant little place, we didnt eat there but the atmosphere was great and the people welcoming. A shout out to the barman Joe who, when he warmed up :-), was super friendly and informative. Would I go back ?? Absolutely!

After walking out from a rude experience at carraghers bar with the staff there, we found this amazing place to watch the lfc match. Aoife begins the bar was so friendly and the service was amazing!! Made us stay longer than we would've done usually. Menu looked fab and we would've eaten had we not already done so.

we were recommended by the staf from Andaz Wall Street, they just indicated to us as a nice place to have a drink nearby the hotel, was a great choice, we loved the beer selection and the service

We stumbled on this place by accident during sightseeing. A pleasant accident! An authentic Irish Pub experience. Great atmosphere and excellent food. I had the yummy shepard's pie and a Guinness of course. My wife enjoyed a tasty chicken wrap. "Stumble inn" for a memorable time!

We had a great lunch at the Killarney Rose, Good atmosphere!

Comfort food. There are add ins. I did beef and bacon. Beer was good. Service very good and attentive. Decor is pub with a nice bar and tables. Reasonble prices.

Great lunch, good wholesome food. Prices very reasonable with friendly service. All in all a very enjoyable lunch.

Very nice Pub with a friendly service, good food and honest prices. Stay open late at night and is a very goid option for a drink and meal at Financial District.

Many thanks to Andy (Anthony and the girls), for a fantastic three nights of being a local at this pub. The food was great, and we were welcomed as regulars from our initial visit. Andy even tried to explain baseball to us, and when we came in frozen from the top deck of the sightseeing tour, he came up with the perfect warming alcoholic drinks. A must for all tourists and locals alike

Visited during our honeymoon, spending 13 days in FIDI. Having stumbled across this place we visited no less than 4 times. It provided a welcome break from the high roller prices in the area in any context great value drinks and food, in comparison to the surrounding places by far the best value we found. Look forward to visit on my next visit.

Very nice Irish pub on Wall Street. Delicious food but the service is very slow. There was only one waitress serving everyone. Our order took a really long time to come. Too bad since the food was really delicious.

Staff were very attentive and friendly. Good range of drinks available with different deals on each day. The buffalo chicken mac and cheese was particularly delicious.

We headed to the Killarney for a drink on this occasion. It is a strange bar as it is either very busy or quite, rarely over the

Still great service with some great specials. Service is good and also prices considering the location.

Rainy Sunday afternoon, called in for a few quick drinks. Nice atmosphere. The place was spotless, friendly Irish guy serving and chatting with us. Very impressed but we didn’t try the food. Hopefully return as our hotel is close by.

This place is very comfortable. It has many TVs to watch sports games while eating. It is a very friendly atmosphere. Very casual and the staff is exceptional.

We came here to watch the Superbowl as the unit we rented nearby had no TV, and this was the perfect place! Our waiter, Eoin, was a major plus! He took great care of us ( three senior citizen Eagles fans) and gave good advice on menu items. This place is much nicer looking on the inside than from the outside.

Visited on a Sunday night when offers are a plenty! Bonus mega Wings were excellent and barman john as attentive as ever. We've visited this place repeatedly over the last six years since our initial stumble-across the place and it has always delivered! You cannot beat this place for quality and value! Well done and see you next visit.

The restaurant is in downtown Manhattan and a must on a weekend. The food and service were excellent for a late afternoon meal. The prices are more than reasonable for Manhattan. I will certainly return to this establishment when in Manhattan.
Good place to drink...don't eat there
This is a great dive bar. Lots of seating, good happy hour, but I would not recommend the food. Have been twice now for work lunches. First time the turkey burger was still frozen inside. Second time, the blue cheese on my Cobb salad was very old and solidified. Stick to the fried bar food and the Coors drafts.
