If you like good with too much sugar in a restaurant that is so loud you get a headache this place is for you! We brought friends from Australia and we so disappointed that we couldn't talk to one another.

Like so many Vegas, restaurants, you come here for the atmosphere more than anything. I had a sampling of the Nigiri menu and they were all excellent. The rest of the menu, however, was more Asian fusion than actual Japanese. For those who love sushi, this is not the place for you. I ate at the bar and the staff was incredibly friendly and gave me an excellent recommendation on sake.

Asian fusion with a twist . Stunning with its rich red colors and beautiful decor . The food and service was excellent and unique.

Amazing restaurant. Fresh inviting interiors at this restaurant. The foods were top quality. Atmosphere was brilliant. Recommended…!

Amazing dinner. Ate at many more highly reviews restaurants during our week but this was the highlight. We ate here before a show. The wait staff was excellent. The wagyu dumplings were the best bite all week. The sushi was very good with some sake recommended by our waiter.

Komodo is an absolutely stunning restaurant with a very cool vibe. The service was good but not great. There were several missteps during our dinner but nothing unforgivable. The food was very good but definitely a little overpriced. Perhaps we are just getting older, but everything was very dark, which makes it hard to see. The table is black and the dishes are black plus the lighting in the restaurant is extremely dim. This is not enough to make me not return but I thought it was worth mentioning. One major positive point is that they do refuse patrons that are underdressed.

Komodo at Fontainebleau is a stunning spot with bold decor, great energy, and delicious Southeast Asian fusion. The Peking duck and wagyu dumplings are must-tries, and the cocktails are top-notch. Service is attentive, though it gets loud later in the evening. Perfect for a lively night out or pre-club dinner.

What a gorgeous restaurant with Southeast Asian fusion- I ordered a few pieces of salmon, yellow tail & tuna and a rainbow roll- all the pieces were presented tastefully & mouth watering. The restaurant offers other choices small plates, salads, dim sum & great choices of American steaks & Japanese Wagyu. The menu has so much to offer- we must return & try other items on the menu.

There were three of us and we had reserved our table before being very kindly welcomed by Danielle, head waiter. His advice allowed us to have an exceptional time because from the starter to the dessert everything was perfect!

One would think that they don’t want their customers to talk together, music from DJ is just way too loud. We had Chicken salad, Crispy Thai Beef and Truffle Honey Salmon. All the food was delicious but the music loudness just ruins the whole experience.

Can I give negative stars. 2 couples for a late Thursday night dinner and drinks. Ambience is decent, entry is very cool, the food was just ok, and the sake list was small but good. The service was the most inept I have EVER experienced in a restaurant. The pizza and taco spots nearby far outshine the Komodo service. Hostesses are have no interest in the customers, as evidenced by us being first seated in a wind tunnel under an AC Vent that is literally blasting the curtains and any poor souls that get seated under it. We also had the oddity of a wet seat. No apology, just a vacant stare at our request to move. The table waiters are bumbling and fumbling over each other. We had three servers, none of whom knew what they were doing. I literally watched three different servers in a period of 5 minutes pour still, sparkling and tap water in the same half full water glass. They reached across the table, spilled regularly and lacked even basic service training. It was so bad that I couldn’t even complain because I was so dumbfounded, nor was there any management in sight. I wanted to love it, but stay away until they get their act together.

We were a bit trepidatious about trying this place on a Saturday night because it seemed like it would be an F-boy establishment with wannabe Miami posers. There were definitely a few of those in the vicinity, but it didn’t take away from the incredible meal we had at Komodo. FOOD Incredible. We ordered a bunch of stuff: the wagyu maki, the o-toro nigiri, lobster noodles, kung pao, rainbow roll, and a couple of other items. Most of the sushi didn’t need any soy sauce dipping at all and came perfectly glazed with just the right amount of sauce. All the sushi was delicious. One of the best o-toro nigiri we’ve had and most likely the best on the strip. The drinks were also delicious. AMBIANCE It’s a very spacious restaurant with very spacious seating but a fairly loud place (Similar to a Delilah). It’s a mix of what feels like a restaurant and nightclub. If you’re looking for a place to have a real conversation with people, I definitely would not recommend it. However, if you’re just looking for a place to have good times with friends and the conversation aspect doesn’t matter, go for it. SERVICE It was pretty fast, and our server was attentive. All of the food came out quickly, and we never really waited for any particular dish. Highly recommend trying this place out.

Wow. Everything was so bad. I’m actually amazed at how bad. The service was terrible, but I think the waitress may have been new. We tried a lot of the food and none of it was good. They ruined a $100 skirt steak by putting some terrible spicy stuff on top. The whole experience was so bad but it’s entertaining to tell the story I guess. Also they have a bathroom attendant! How awesome to have someone in there watch me pee and hand me a paper towel. That was the icing on the cake. 1 outta 5 don’t go.

I really did not enjoy this restaurant that much. It wasn’t terrible, but there was nothing I ate that I had to come back to have. The restaurant decor is beautiful, but our service was slow. The chicken salad lacked flavor to me. The house special fried rice was just ok. I didn’t like the spicy kick it had either. I felt like the edemame had the most flavor of everything I tasted. The tacos were ok as well. With all of the great food and service choices in Vegas I doubt if I would return.

Komodo is awesome! Shout-out to Kevan Hammer, one of their Managers, who is obviously doing an exceptional job! The decor is elegant; the food is delicious; the lighting is cozy; and the music is upbeat. I live on the Strip and frequently dine at Strip casinos, so I'm accustomed to great service, but the waitstaff at Komodo is unsurpassed. Everyone was super-friendly; caring; knowledgeable; and extremely professional. I'm kind of a pain in the neck - a vegan-aspiring vegetarian, who is forever seeking an extra plate; a non-dairy version; a smaller spoon; etc. Yet despite my quirky demands, I was treated with gracious patience and wonderful care by Juliet, my server, and the other gentleman who took care of me, whose name I unfortunately didn't catch. In a crowded field of Strip-dining excellence, Komodo outshines!

Born in Miami, with DNA from China Grill, Komodo promises Asian Fusion with a 'club like' atmosphere on the second floor of Las Vegas’ Fontainebleau. A beautiful space populated by beautiful people, all of it coordinated fluidly by manager Nick Servedio, guests will first notice an impressive build-out of spirals and red backed by flowers and organic flourishes. Assuredly a social spot with music that grows louder by the minute servers prove educated yet happy to up-sell, stories from Miami and Dallas suggesting Cocktails such as Pikachu or “Pretty Fly for a Cacti” that come in cute porcelain vessels to pair with $6 per bite “Tacos” on Wontons. Priced similar to like-concepts on The Strip, spicy Edamame and piping-hot Milk Bread with umami-laden Butter each outpacing the usual, fans of Dim Sum will find Wagyu Dumplings on-par with Mott 32 while Lo Mein with King Crab and XO Sauce comes in a generous portion loaded with complex flavors. Not about to miss fried Eggplant, reminiscent of Milos but with Asian flare, no table should forego Duck that endures a 72-hour process arriving juicy beneath shattering Skin nor China Grill's "Bananas in a Box" reimagined as one of Sin City’s best desserts.

Was in town for a tech conference, and came here with a group of around 10. Had reservations so didn't have to wait. Komodo offered a vibrant and chic dining experience that perfectly blends Asian flavors with modern flair. The staff was attentive, knowledgeable, and eager to make recommendations. The appetizers were tasty and shareable. The brussel sprouts and eggplant are highly recommenable. Drinks were on point as well. I ordered the prime rib and it was to die for...VERY tender!! I really like the energy in the place. Be prepared for a pricey evening, as Komodo is on the higher end of the dining spectrum in Vegas. I would highly recommend this place based off my experience!!!

This is a Nightclub with food. Aside from the lovely server and decent food, the ambiance was so exaggerated it’s a deterrent. Good dumplings, sushi, shishito peppers and mushroom lo mien, the salmon tacos were not great. Drinks and wine very good and the service was great. Unfortunately the noise level was extreme and I’m all for mood lighting but this was just silly.

This restaurant is a bit hidden upstairs next to the food court. Asian fusion. We stumbled on it almost by accident on a Sunday night and went to try it. Luckily, they had a table for us. The decor is stunning in black and red. It does have a club vibe. The lighting is dark and the music is loud. We had to raise our voices to talk to each other, but I live in LA so I’m used to that in trendy restaurants. We were pretty much the oldest people there, it was more of an Instagram crowd. People were dressed up. They were young people with money though because this place was expensive. We were three people and we’re all vegetarians, so we skipped all the entrées and just ordered the vegetarian sides, including the green beans and crispy eggplant which were delicious. And the ginger salad, which was also delicious. Two of us had a cocktail. I think the cocktails were $27 each And they were delicious. TheI check was in the realm of $200 which doesn’t sound ridiculous, but was high considering we only ordered vegetables. The food and service were uniformly excellent and the vibe was fun. Servers were around constantly refilling our water glasses. My sister-in-law came back from the bathroom and said there was a large group of gorgeous young women in party clothes being trained apparently to be romantic partners for a private party in the back. How to murmur endearments and so forth. It sounded pretty funny. And there were an awful lot of stunning young women wandering around. I enjoyed myself and if I were in the hotel again, I would go back.

I had dinner solo in Komodo before seeing a concert in the nearby theater in the hotel. It's among the nicest restaurants I've been in (as one would expect just about anywhere in Vegas) and I was lured here, besides the proximity to the theater, by the vegetarian options on the menu. I couldn't make a reservation for 1 on the website, but an email to the restaurant ahead of time secured my spot for just me (thanks, Komodo!) Though it would have been nice to be able to do that in the existing reservation system. I mean sometimes you're flying solo in Vegas, you know? I was seated immediately upon arrival at a nice table with a great view of the dramatic and stunning dining area. Really upscale, really nice. I was immediately greeted by a sommelier who saw me glancing at the wine menu...nice touch to have her on the floor for any immediate wine question needs or suggestions. They've got a couple of plant-based options using Daring Chicken, a product I often use myself at home. I ordered Kung Pao Plant-Based Chicken...I've had Kung Pao in one form or another (veggie meat, tofu) at a lot of places so I knew what I was in for and excited to try it with the Daring 'meat'. With most faux meats it's typically easy to overcook them as they are all already sort of cooked and just need to be heated. Daring is unusual in this category in that it needs to be cooked a little more to get the right texture and feel less undercooked and like a processed food. In this case I'd say they got it pretty close but the 'meat' itself could have been cooked a little longer to be just right. It was also the least spiciest Kung Pao I've had. Almost not spicy at all which was a little bit disappointing. The Cabernet I got was perfect. The service was stellar...everyone who spoke with me or brought me something was incredibly nice and made me feel welcome. There are other vegetarian things to try including dumplings made with the Daring chicken...so I'd come back and give it another try.

30 minutes late to seat us on our reservation, seated for one hour and still no food with only one waitress for a party of 13 took over 30 minutes for drinks. Manger stopped by when requested and basically did nothing. With all the wonderful restaurants in Vegas I recommend going elsewhere

Everything was excellent, from the young women directing you to your table to the end of the meal. Juan Ponce who served us did it magnificently, Tony the son was excellent and everyone else who came to my table did it 1000% professionally. Excellent Juan Ponce and the others..

Komodo Las Vegas elicits an incredible vibe and energy combined with excellent cuisine in all of the many dishes that our group sampled. The aesthetic ambiance is extraordinary, but unfortunately coupled by the most mediocre of service with lackluster attention to the customer.

Overall ambiance of this restaurant is amazing! The music was a little loud so you kind of had to shout at the table while having a conversation. All the food we ordered were shareable plates. The eggplant was incredible, highly recommend any of the sushi options on the menu. The cocktail offerings were fun, creative, and overall great tasting. dessert was a little show at the table, again creative dishes that were quality tasting.

This place looked great and I so wanted to love it! Unfortunately reality hits real quick once seated. Food was expensive and micro portions but fairly decent tasting. Service was very poor, requiring me to ask for the same thing 4 times. Staff simply seemed disinterested and disconnected. Eating a steak with chopsticks and no fork or knife was somewhat entertaining at best. Vegas is filled with amazing places but this is simply not one of them. You should never feel like you need to go for pizza after spending over $400 bucks on dinner! As a warning, don't order water with your meal as it will cost you $22. which sneaks onto your bill at the end.😡 This place gets a 2 star rating from me only because the food was great despite the poor service and very unfriendly pricing.

Had an absolutely fantastic dinner for 8 at Komodo a few days ago!! Our server, Danielle, hit it out of the park. She took the pressure off us and helped curate a family style dinner accomodating different dietary issues and staying within a certain price point flawlessly. She was so thoughtful and really made it feel special to celebrate our friend's bachelorette at Komodo. She also paid attention to the fact we were on a schedule but didn't make anything feel rushed. We were constantly seeing Danielle or other staff to make sure we had water and cocktails at all times. The food and drinks were delicious too. We had the edamame, thai beef jerky, wagyu skirt steak tacos, ginger salad, hamachi serrano, bak choy, szechuan brussels sprouts, peking duck, and snake river farms skirt steak (I think that was the order). Everything was delightful and I'm probably forgetting some things. The ambiance was also perfect for us. Once you enter the restaurant, the atmosphere is much more fun than the rest of the hotel. The lighting and music volume were both just right for a fun evening vibe to energize a group for a night out. Overall, would definitely recommend for a group meal in Las Vegas!

Took Honey out for dinner last night in Vegas, and this place was fantastic! We tried the Wagyu dumplings, Wagyu sushi roll, lo mein (which came with a piece of king crab leg), loaded fried rice, and Brussels sprouts. The food was excellent and did not disappoint. I highly recommend this spot if you’re looking for great food. It is on the expensive side, but we didn’t even order entrées — just appetizers and sides. If you’re very budget-conscious, this may not be the place for you. However, if you’re willing to splurge for a memorable meal, I highly recommend it. And don’t let me leave out the dessert! The banana cheesecake desert is a must. You will not be disappointed in this grand finale!

We had such a wonderful evening at Komodo. Our server was friendly and fun. We tried a lot of different dishes, and enjoyed them all. Except… the quail. Our server highly recommended it, but we were not into it at all. She graciously took it off the bill, which she certainly didn’t need to. We loved everything else.

somewhat chaotic experience where it seemed as if everyone was a new hire. The food was ok, but expensive compared to the experience - probably the most expensive dinner of our entire trip, despite not being the best experience. we started with ordre a Pina Colada and two small bottles of wine. The staff asked who should have wine and then left with all the glasses, only to return with the same glasses and put them to the wrong people. The staff brought pineapple juice with coconut rum and stated that they didn't have pina colada so I got juice with rum instead. You have to expect that it is possible to order a pina colada at a hotel that describes itself as a luxury hotel. if you don't have a drink, then you come back to ask the customer if they want something else and not just make another drink. The place and the food are Asian inspired and therefore there were chopsticks, which we all have experience with, however it is very difficult to eat large salad leaves with dressing with chopsticks, and no other cutlery was on the table. Everything was finger food, but no possibility of a wet napkin, which you could use after eating beans, salad, fish tacos, all with dressing and eaten with fingers. The music in the restsurant was so loud that a conversation was impossible. The experience of the visit was that the restaurant had no control over the basic needs, it was expensive and according to American tradition you have to leave a tip even though the experience was: luxury hotel that tries to be something they are not.
Bartender Roseil is certainly an asset to your company!
The newly opened Komodo in FountaineBleau has a great bar with more importantly a great staff! We were at the restaurant early being told there were no reservations available, however, the bar area was first come at 5:30pm. We were the first to be at the bar upon opening and greeted by probably the best bartender (Roseil) we have had in many years. Roseil was very knowledgeable about the drinks, the menu and his profession. We had drinks, the jerky and lobster dynamite appetizers as well as the sea bass and chicken salad. Everything was absolutely delicious and suggested by Roseil which made our decision easy. We not only went to Komodo on the 30th but twice more in the 31st as it was the best bar we had found at FontaineBleau. Can’t say enough about the great service by not only Roseil but Marissa as well on the second night.
