The atmosphere was cool and our waitress was very friendly and attentive. I got the tonkatsu shuyu ramen and the tuna hand roll and both were very good, the pork in the ramen was soft and soo tasty. Wait time to be seated was quick, but it's a small space so I could see it getting packed. There was almost no wait time for the food, it came out super quick.

Never disappointed me here! Worth every penny!! Kuu Chili must try one of my favorite. It’s not only ramen that’s good a lot of food in here is excellent. Must give it a try to whoever a fan of Japanese food especially very good ramen. I’m sure this place won’t disappoint you!!!

Had the shrimp tempura, chili kakuni pork (spicy), miso beef . All were delicious. Very friendly, courteous, helpful making suggestions. Highly suggest if you want ramen!

I came in specifically looking for order Takoyaki and it did not disappoint. My only regret is that I couldn't eat more of their menu but I would highly recommend eating here.

Really worth it to try, they ramen were so good. Must try Kuu Chili ramen, chicken broth. The good think it came with ground chicken and pork. My friend really in the mood of Sushi, thank god they had hand roll. So it win win for both of us. Highly recommended.

This place is like a hole in the wall. Small place for ramen not many seats. We had to wait for 15 min. We wrote our name down and wait outside. When we got seat we order right away. We got the famous noodle Kuu chili ramen and Tonkotsu shoyu ramen. Kuu chili came with pork and ground chicken. The broth was so nice and not too heavy. Tonkotsu shoyu was so thick full with flavor. It was a good combination. I will come back again for donburi.

The place is small and busy. The menu is simple offering few ramen and other Japanese dish. The ramen was not as tasty I would have like it to be.

Very nice staff, very fast service and very good. I recommend for a meal because more the value for money is top in my opinion.

Was our first time there. We had the fried fish balls (takoyaki) and pork buns as appetizer, and the tonkotsu and unagi eel bowl as entree. We both loved everything so much that we were still talking about our meal days later!! Small place, not much seating, but they’re following the Covid rules for NYC. Will definitely be back!!

The restaurant is beautiful and they really used their small space well. It was very clean and the service was wonderful. The food tasted good and it is priced well.

Very good address… and it’s a change from burgers/hot dogs and other American specialties! The service is just a little hasty, but the room is small so there is no time to waste.

Excellent dîner with family, and a high level of expectation for them ! Really we appreciated the food, even the little ones enjoyed. Good service, kind and fast. Small restaurant, preferably go there soon.

Kuu ramen was good. Family of 5 waited outside for 15 mins. Ordered ramens, curry and rice bowl. Food was good not wow. Tips included with 4 or more $18% added. Service was good. Located in the financial districts. Restaurant is very narrow. It turned table really quick. You eat and go kindly of style.

Great ramen place !!! Me and my family came here and tried 4 different ramens, Miso pork, tonkotsu shoyu, kuu chili and spicy tonkotsu miso. All of them very good Totally recommend the place

Great food at a very good price, definitely recommended! Nice service and atmosphere, clear menu, clean place. Worth visiting.

Came here after seeing a lot of hype. Not disappointed. Tried Spicy miso and their homemade gyoza. Hands down, it’s delicious.

Small Japanese restaurant easy to reach in New York with fast service but the dishes are excellent with taste. Very friendly and caring waitress.

A great family discovery on Fulton st. Ramen and Japanese Curry at the top. Best Ramen and Japanese curry ever on Fulton st.

Really good ramen hole in the wall located in FiDi. Because there are a lot of office buildings close by, and only a few places to sit, they are very busy during peak lunch hours. Ramen comes out pretty fast, so you may be able to grab a stool from someone just leaving. Just be prepared to share a table with others.

Typically I go to these sorts of places and leave disappointed because they are lacking in a key area. But this place has a delicious salty broth and perfectly rendered pork - their noodles are perfectly textured and delicious. I wish I could eat here everyday. 😭 highly recommend the Tonkatsu !

We were hungry for some ramen and read the reviews on Yelp. Unfortunately, the reviewers on Yelp do not know good Ramen as this was bad. The place was packed and we expected good food. Not finding a table or wanting to wait outside, we ordered takeout. Our order was for veggie and Okinawa ramen. The results were 4 bowls. Two for the broth and two for what looked like noodles you would get in a kit from a grocery store! The veggie was inedible as the broth was so bland and the noodles were garbage. The Okinawa broth was a little better, but the on small piece of chicken did not result in much.

We had the Beef and Veggie Miso soup. Service was good and the food was amazing. Would definitely recommend. We also had the deep fried squid (appetizer).

Great ! Small place but there is always room. The service is super fast and the food is excellent. Very reasonable price and excellent staff.

First time my husband and I had ramen and it was delicious. My husband isn’t normally an adventurous eater and he loved it. He got the miso beef ramen and I got the veggie ramen with a shrimp tempura hand roll. OMG so good!

This spot is one of the best ramen places ever. Staff and atmosphere is very welcoming as well. The food came out real quick after ordering. One of our new favorite spots when in NYC. Top notch to the chefs!

Came here for dinner. There was a line to enter but it moved fast. Service was super friendly and the ramen was simply delicious . Prices are very reasonable Highly recommended !

Run! Don’t walk to get here! Just the best ramen. I can’t get it in fast enough it’s so good! 😁. The perfect dish on a cold 29 degree day like today!

We literally stumbled into Kuu just because it was next to our hotel and icy sidewalks from a snow storm prevented us from getting much further. Although we ended up there by happenstance, it was a fantastic and memorable dinner. We ordered the Chili Crispy Pork Ramen and the Butter Chicken Ramen. Both were delicious, but we'd probably have to give the edge to the Butter Chicken. It had a rich broth that was a great blend of South Asian cuisine. The seating is very limited in Kuu, and a line outside the restaurant is a regular sight. However, the service is quick so the turnover of seats was pretty steady. It was definitely worth a wait, but if you go during a snow storm you might be lucky enough to skip the line entirely.

I’ve been coming here since 2016 and it’s still as good as always. When ppl ask me to recommend a ramen spot, I send them here. It’s flavorful and you can tell they use quality ingredients.

Tasty quick meal Unusual and quirky. Very good use of space. Recently expanded the menu and now offering beer I had not tried Japanese food like this before We are very happy this is in our neighborhood

It is a small place with one small and one big table, good service, english fine, prices reasonable and food normal but to me quite oily. I prefer beef Ramen elsewhere. Sorry but to me not a place I would recommend to my friends.

I come in New York from nj. My office is in good area in Manhattan . I walk everyday lunch break around there places I see everyday too rush in this Japanese restaurant so I want try also . I went there I tried chili ramen . It was so delicious NO DOUBT WHY BIG RUSH HERE . Because food is the best . Even in big rush stuff member handle restaurant very good and nice talk .

They served me meat that’s already sour and smelled bad 😳 I didn’t even get a sorry after calling their attention. They even told me it’s sour because of the sauce on top. Are you kidding me? I was the one who tasted their food & they didn't trust what I said. Anyway, I still gave a generous tip though, but they didn’t even bother to thank me, even while I was on my way out. They were talking in a different language and were laughing and looking at me after I tipped. Lol. They also cleaned my table immediately before I even asked for the bill. Wth? Are people really this disrespectful these days? First time in NYC and unfortunately, I happened to be at this restaurant with these kind of people. smh. Boo customer service

Came in randomly for Sunday dinner. Love the vibe, small and casual dining. The service was awesome since I told them I was really hungry and they brought out the noodle quickly. I ordered the light broth Okinawa Shio. The food itself was really great, broth flavorful and pork seasoned well. Thump up Delicious.

I work around the corner. Ramen is ok a little too al dente. Broth is good. I got a little skeeved, the girl putting orders together was eating while she was working. Then she did t give me a spoon or chopsticks with my to go order.

Ideally located near wall street and ground zero this small Japanese restaurant offered Ramen and other bowls at low Awards ($14-19) for an Average Rating of a meal of this type in NY with drinks for 100 euros for 4 (taxes and tip). It is good the service is fast and pleasant. I highly recommend it.

Best quick bowl of ramen you can have during 1 hour lunch break. I must say their operation just fit the lunch rush hour crowd. I went in and get my food in less than 15 mins. The Kuu Chili Raman is best. Medium spicy but has the strong kick of spice.

I should finally review the place I compare so many places.I would say that this is my absolute favorite. Their spicy miso is great. I LOVE IT.

I am so lucky I work close by here. I don't have to travel far for a decent Ramen. First time I came, I got Kuu chili ramen. And I am a big fan of this dish. It came with Pork and ground chicken. The broth is chicken and fish broth. I was so please. The service was super fast. I became a regular.

Kuu ramen is really excellent choice for this winter. It was snowing and I need some soup to make me warm. The soup was so depth in flavor come along with pork belly that rich in flavor. Perfect!!!!!. Server suggested sake for me “Kikumasamune “ grate pairing!!! Not to dry not to sweet . I will come back

This is a good option IF you are in the area and want a quick bite. Try the octopus balls, fried squid, buns, or dumplings. I do not recommend the rice or noodle bowls.

One of the best Ramens that we have tried, so much so that we visited two days in a row. Tried the spicy Kuu ramen, Shoyo and tofu. If you love ramen this would be the place to go in NYC 🍜

Truly an hidden gem that offers comforting food and great atmosphere. Aside from their signature ramen, their una is also a must try. The staff is incredibly polite and friendly. Operated by actual Japanese people at the heart of nyc, this place offers visceral feelings one would get setting at Tokyo.

We loved it. Small, intimate, delicious. My 8 and 11 year old daughters agreed. Pleasant atmosphere and staff.

There are a lot of delicious food, nice and friendly personal and really good place. If you wanna have a snack or have a solid meal you can do it here

Small little place that's not obvious if you walk past. But wow, amazing food. Ordered the fried chicken and miso pork ramen. Delicious and well made. I would even say it tasted similar to the places I've been when I was in Japan.

Authentic Japanese food. Awesome value for the quality. I’ve been to Japan many times and this is the real deal. You can’t miss it if you like Ramen, gyozas and a glass of sake.

Small but very welcoming place. Helpful and very efficient staff. Very good ramen. We will definitely return before we leave

Amazing ramen! Every ingredient tasted fresh and delicious. Service was very quick and efficient. Would definitely recommend.

Small but very warm place, just in the middle of the Financial District. I ordered a ramen and salmon bowl both were pretty awesome and generously served. Sapporo draft is excellent too. Prices are absolutely reasonable and fair.

Little restaurant with a special touch, very close to the WTC. Few dishes in the menu, but all of them look good and special. I actually tried three and none of them were ramen. So there’s more than what the name suggests

These guys are making an amazing job👌 The food is excellent and ramen is simply delicious😋 We spent there an evening with my wife and than we came back few times during our stay in NYC.

Simply extremely delicious!! We have already eaten a few ramen... it is very similar to the original from Japan! Absolutely recommended!

Small authentic ramen place. Was seated and served very fast. And the food is just amazing. Best ramen I have eaten. Will come back

3rd time in a raw that we came here. And it will not be the last time. Nice atmosphere, friendly staff, delicious food in this pretty small restaurant. Thanks! We love it!

As a NYC local the customer service here was horrible. I actually work around the area and wanted to give this place a try. Their competitor is Kyu Ramen in which the customer service is on a different level but I can’t say the same for Kuu ramen. When i went in we were placed in a seat by the window and my boyfriend was not comfortable so i asked the girl inside if i could move my seat to a empty table i saw and she was very rude and said yah and almost rolled her eyes. Then she placed the menu down mad aggressively next to my arms. The men servers were nice and tried their best but this lady server was not. She was very rude and passive aggressive. Even when taking our order she did not smile once and had a mean look the whole time. As i observed her with other customers she was much nicer and smiled and it made me think if she is treating me this way because i am brown. She was being nicer to the white customers. Over all i let it be and tried to enjoy my food until the end when she was very rude to my boyfriend and came to collect the bill and started rudely pointing at the tip option almost demanding it. She was demanding a tip after being extremely rude to us and my boyfriend still tipped but the experience here was horrible. The food was good i have to give it that but the horrible customer service and bad seating is good enough to never make me want to come back.

Excellent food. Very quick and great service. Price / ratio performance in this region untouchable. We came again !!!!

I have tried so many places for Japanese restaurant and this is the best. The food is very tasty also the service is excellent. The staff is so nice and friendly. I really recommended.

Great food, drinks & vibes. Started off with a Thai iced tea which was excellent. Had two bao buns with pork. Very good.

Very nice staff and fantastic food ❤️ In the middle of Manhattan's Financial District you will find a small, fine oasis ❤️ Thank you

The size of this "restaurant" is definitely Japanese style: very small, few tables, counters with high chairs. Kitchen is open so you can see your dishes while they are prepared. Ramen is just part of the offer: it is good, broth is tasty, big slices of pork; everything is in its place. Donbury is available too with abundant chicken. Two people with water about 46 dollars.

Welcome back. Various and good dishes. Everything is done on site and to order. But the room is small and it can have nice waiting.

Great discovery during our stay in New York. Very tasty dishes at reasonable prices. Fast service and friendly staff. We have adored.

We had KUU ramen, Miso Pork ramen, and Salmon Teriyaki donburi. All were great. Services were also efficiently quick. Highly recommended.

I made a trip advisor account to tell you that THIS IS THE BEST RAMEN IVE EVER HAD!!! It’s so much better than the ramen that I make at 3 a.m. when I come back, I will make it a point to come back.

I went to Japan 4 months ago and I love Japanese food and I was living in Los Angeles there is one ramen place I love to go but now I moved to New York , I tried some Japanese food here but not like as real taste then I go some work near Fulton street , I hungry and I see there is kuu ramen Japanese restaurant on John street near Fulton . I ate food here was very very very good like real Japan taste . Staff is very nice and kind. Good place

So happy we gave this place a try. It has a cozy atmosphere, attentive servers and delicious ramen. The broth was full of flavor and the sliced pork was sooo good. My husband had the spicy ramen and it was delicious too. Great place. I highly recommend it. My three young adult children approved also. First time I have ever felt compelled to write a review.

I heard from my friend that this ramen place is really good so I decided to go there. The restaurant is pretty and clean. Their stuff smiles and welcomed me. I got a seat at the window. Server was greeting me within 1 min. I had Japanese fried chicken to start and Kuu chili ramen. The spicy ramen is so yummy. The food served pretty fast so this would be perfect place for lunch too.

We are always searching for great little hidden gems, and this was just that. Great people, warm and welcoming and most importantly GREAT RAMEN!

This place was so tasty and convenient to go to with my family. the hand rolls i highly recommend if you have the munchies. the workers i encountered were simple and kind but nothing to much. Love it!

A little gem of a restaurant! The line was brief and food comes quickly. My husband loved the signature chili ramen bowl and felt the pork belly was tender and tasty. I had potstickers And a hand roll. Highly recommended, good value

Amazing it’s a must!!! Food is delicious, but the service it’s spectacular, prices are more than fair and it’s very cozy!!

I am local who has been coming here for 7 years. If someone where to ask me where I order the most frequent out of any place in NYC ... this would be it. I am not a born in raised New Yorker, but have been living in NYC since 2002. If it means anything to anyone ... I have been to over 350 cities in the world ... grew up in Houston Texas ... but consider this my home spot. It is the place I go to when I want "home cooked" food. My favorite meal is the BEEF SUKIYAKI ... I seriously have ordered it more than 40 times. Yes the food is AMAZING .... but more importantly it is the staff that causes me and my wife to return time and time again. HUGE shout out to the Manager KRIT ... who never ceases to make us feel at home and give us consistently fantastic service both sit down and take out. FOOD is AMAZING and SERVICE is also amazing. Thank you again KUU for the amazing food, owners and above all staff.

A small little Japanese place in Financial District. Their ramen is all SLUP-WORTHY! Had to come back for a second time before leaving NYC! It is that GOOD!

Great value for money in New York. Ramen and delicious domburi! Be careful if you are not very fond of cookery raised ask you advice. I who love spiciness found the ramen raised at will. There’s a line outside so prepare yourself properly in advance to get there. The restaurant closes at 9:30.

This super tiny place serves an amazing and large bowl of ramen. For sure a place to get for dinner, lunch, or anytime

This tiny financial district ramen shop is the BOMB! The service is excellent and the food is so very tasty. Japanese appetizers and several types of ramen are available. This is a fun spot for a quick informal Asian meal.

Great Ramen place. They have a dine in option but we were staying at the hotel down the street so we opted for take out. Generous portion and very reasonably priced for NYC.

I got the Impression they made the Ramen with a fried dough, not the right one. Very bad choice. It's cheap, but it's not good no folds

Super quick service. Really tasty food. Ordered spicy tonkotsu miso ramen with extra charsu. Food arrived quickly and broth was awesome. Good value.

I went to NYC yesterday . And I love to eat Japanese food I eat a lot of Japanese food in nyc but I went to kuu ramen. It was so delicious. Their taste was original.I eat kuu chili. If you are looking for Japanese food in nyc I prefer kuu ramen is best . Sitting place is less but food is best . I love to go there every time when I will be in NYC.

This is one of the best ramen joints in the city and is worth every penny. Get the spicy miso ramen and you won’t be disappointed, especially as they cook the pork and egg to utter perfection. The customer service is always top notch and they treat you so well regardless of how packed and busy they are.

Omg; great, great Ramen. The fried chicken is also great. We loved it. Small place, a little wait but that Ramen was superb. One thing for some people: the health rating that it is posted at all restaurants in NYC was a “B”

Amazing place and food! You won’t regret. We ordered Kuu Chili Ramen and poke bowl with chicken. Both were very delicious!

A delight and impeccable service! A pleasure to land in this place. We wait before we can sit down but the wait is worth it! Don't hesitate!

Amazing ramen I ever had, came here around 7pm the place is tiny and packed. But our wait was less than 15min for 4 ppl. The service was quick. We ordered different bowls, I tried Spicy Kuu ramen, my friends got miso pork, Shoyu and Sesami chicken. Oh God!! they was so fresh and tasty, really enjoyed. We definitely come back.

Next door to my hotel so it was very convenient. Great service and the ramen was just ok. Very salty, but hit the spot. Small interior, but if you need a quick bite, it’ll work.

Mel and I have frequented Kuu for over seven years now and appreciate the relationship we’ve established with Krit. He is always welcoming when we go to the restaurant and knows our favorite menu selection (sukiyaki beef don with extra beef). We’ll remain loyal customers of Kuu because of Krit. Thank you.

Great ramen and rice dishes with draft beer. Super nice and fast service. Great value for money

Recommended by the concierge at our hotel and didn’t disappoint. Great for a quick late night meal, ate 2 tasty ramen dishes washed down with Sapporo

First time in NYC and we stopped here for lunch. The food is AMAZING!! Service is friendly and super fast. What else can I say? Do yourself a favor and stop here for a quick lunch or dinner.

They have ramen, curry, don bowls. They have miso and soy flavored ramen. I had a miso ramen and it was one of the best I have ever had. Also tried the bun and fried chicken appetizers, which are both good. Very small restaurant. Service was good. I’ll be back. Don’t go here please.

A very good place to eat family bringbacks the atmosphere is incredible with small music in the background the soft b it's waiting to go home 😃 I recommend

The best ramen i had outside from japan! Its a small restaurant with limited seats. You'll have to wait to be seated, but the waiting time is worth it 1000 times! The food is just excellent <3

The Spicy Tuna Tartar appetizer is very delicious and the Ramen taste really good. We are highly recommend this Ramen store.

So so yummy, I love this place. Super fast service and great prices. There’s often a long line but it’s worth it. Couldn’t recommend enough.

The service is fantastic! The food is tasty and the place, although small, is clean and well kept. Servers are very attentive. Would definitely recommend

Nice place, very small but well distributed, clean and very efficient staff. The ramen is very good, the rest of the cuisine however is more than decent. Well done

Great food, great price, nice staff. New York style and a small place. We walked up here after the Staten Island ferry.

It's not my first (or my second) visit to this place. While the food is still good enough (although it wasn't as excellent as in previous visits), my one star comes from the lack of response from the restaurant to my messages (to several emails, in social media). While their accounts are alive and posting, it seems they don't give a sh*t about the messages of clients. For me, this is really bad service

Great Ramen!! I got the Beef Curry ramen... and it was really good!! Service was great! Super tasty and very nice servers! Don't pass on it, if ya get the chance!

This is undoubtedly the best ramen I've had in a long time! The flavors are incredible, and the pork buns were simply delightful. I'm absolutely in love with this place!

It was a amazing experience at KUU, it was 4 of us, Anna and Lee services us, great service!!! The food hands down the best, you will love it. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE!!!!

The most incredible ramen….. Wait, actually the most incredible food. We found this place through a couple of YouTube videos reviewing it. Left it until the last night of our holiday to try, and my god we were blown away. A small line, into a lovely little restaurant within 10 mins. A pitcher of cold beer, a couple of buns, Japanese fried chicken and two bowls of ramen later I can honestly say this is the best food I have had all holiday. Do not miss this

Japanese Fried Chicken: it was so good that we ordered it twice. Try it as follows: Squeeze lemon, dip on sauce then tap on the seasoned salt and eat. Won’t disappoint! Hot green tea: if you know you know Tonkotsu Ramen: loved it! Pork belly bun: dances on your tongue Overall: highly satisfied and would definitely come back

One of the best ramen I've ever eaten!! That touch not describable, but that does it better than others!! Gyozas also highly recommended and delicious takoyakis! Quality/price of 10

My first visited I got Okinawa Shio!! Speechless!!!! Been looking for very good ramen it’s quite hard for me to find a good ramen place in the city and this cold weather. Its super delicious!!!! I would recommended to the person who’s love RAMEN!! LIKE REAL RAMEN ;)

I had a pint of Sapporo beer and a miso pork ramen. By far the best ramen I’ve ever eaten. The service was so quick, too. I absolutely adored the restaurant aesthetic and had a relaxing meal after a long day of exploring NYC. Thank you Kuu Ramen staff 💗

Delicious food. Didn’t have to wait for a table and the service was great. Not like other places. Definitely recommend !

I love Asian food and that's why I went to try this restaurant! The ramen was very tasty and the other dishes were also very tasty.Cozy little place, I recommend it!

Very good food. I am world traveler . I love travel and wherever I went I always love to Japanese food everywhere but I Never went Japanese food like kuu ramen restaurant in New York . I had eat ramen in kuu ramen restaurant. It was the best best .i love this restaurant. I recommend everyone to eat in this restaurant

Great vegan options Felt seen immediately Kind and fast service We were jet lagged and just wanted something small We had a cucumber and avocado hand roll and a salmon avocado hand roll they were super fresh and served fast

We went to eat all four today. We've ordered four $18 ramen and something else. The ramen is good, but we're not surprised. In the end, after tax and tip, comes out almost $23 a plate of ramen, which I find excessive even for New York.

Great place, great ambiance, and great food! Will recommend this place over and over again! 🤪 take your family and friends!

Kuu Chili Signature Ramen: It's so freaking delicious! The flavor is really authentic. If you love spicy food, you gotta try it. And it's not overly salty. I've been craving this bowl of noodles so much! Beef Menchi Katsu Curry Rice: I was really blown away by this one! The crust is super crispy, and inside is minced beef. The sauce is so rich, and when paired with rice, it's just pure bliss! If you're used to pork cutlet rice, you should give this a shot. Spicy Tuna Tartar: I'm in love with the presentation. It looks like it's from a fancy restaurant. You can eat it layer by layer, it's so cute. And there's avocado in it too! It's a must order! Crispy Squid Legs: It's a classic appetizer, and it never disappoints! Shrimp Tempura Hand Roll: It's such a huge portion, you'll be stuffed. Hahaha! Plum Wine: It tastes so good, I'm obsessed! I could drink two glasses back to back

Exactly per the reviews, super attentive service, great ramen, a tiny gem surrounded by all these huge buildings!! Particularly impressed by their COVID dividers…

Brilliant food. Brilliant service. Brilliant setting. We ordered the Siracha Chicken to start, spicy but extremely tasty. Followed were the house ramen and the chicken teriyaki- both outstanding- and washed down with some Japanese soda ( Calpico original). Pricing was excellent as well

I really like the Chili ramen and Shio cabbage, the taste of the ramen so fabulous I do recommend this restaurant. The price is also reasonable. I will definitely come back here again and try other menu as well. Love it!

Very economical place in the financial area of New York. The delicious food. The service very attentive and very fast. Highly recommended

Small establishment, clean. The service is fast and friendly. The food is delicious, I really liked it. I recommend visiting

Very good food, service and music! Nice atmosphere. Small but well laid out with seating for about 30. Relaxed. Got super busy during lunch hour all the locals coming for nosh, but we arrived at about 11.20am and got a table to ourself. Would highly recommend. The ramen is great!

Visited this place for dinner because it was just beside our hotel, the food was delicious and the staff friendly. The place is very small so I imagine it might be likely not to find a free table. I also got takoyaki as takeaway another night and they were very quick in getting that ready. Definitely recommend this place!

Small, friendly place, kitchen open to the room. Very good and pleasant staff. We highly recommend!!

Nice and simple authentic ramen. Their Shoyu was so impressed. If you want to eat Ramen in FIDI then Kuu ramen is the good choice. I’ll come back tomorrow to try their rice bowl.

Nice little place. We got the Ramen and it was really good. There was quick service, staff was welcoming and the price good

Super welcoming, fast and efficient and in addition we feasted, from the smallest to the largest. Recommend without hesitation if you are in the neighborhood 9/11 memorial , wallstreet.

Often I find too much rice at the end of my curry. Kuu Ramen has found the golden ratio where I need not and wanted no more, it was a perfect ratio. Everything was flavorful and cooked to a consistent texture. Lack of large seating is the only downside but the service speed makes up for their turn rate. Definitely will be back when finding myself in the neighborhood again!

This is the second time we’ve been here. We came once two years ago, and once today. There’s no doubt in my mind this is some of the best food in NYC. We ordered the pork buns and the Japanese Fried Chicken this time. They were perfect. Last time I we ordered ramen and it was so full of flavor. I can’t wait to come back and try something new.

Ordered kuu chilli and it was delicious! They gave the biggest piece of chyasu which was so filling.

Raw pork dumplings Ok ramen Large portion TripAdvisor should take down the reviews It is misleading and undermines the ratings list

Always fantastic!!!! My favorite is the miso beef. Great atmosphere and reasonable prices. Comes highly recommended!!

We spent the day touristing through downtown and we were famished. We hit TripAdvisor and saw this place. My son loves ramen so we had to try it out. So glad we did!

Excellent restaurant, would 100% 💯 recommend to people who likes 🍜. Soup is slightly salty but pork and the noodles inside is amazing.

Excellent service! The food came super quick and the staff were very attentive and friendly. I would definitely recommend if you’re in the area visiting.

Great little restaurant with great Raman at a reasonable price. The food was excellent quality and very tasty. Would recommend this small restaurant.

It's really a really good place not big but amazing good food and service almost like being in Japan with so much kindness

I had dinner in this very small but super cozy place. Friendly and fast service and Ramen really good. If you are in the area I recommend you stop. We spent $39 on two ramen meat

Small restaurant, but we able to get a table in the window very quick Service delicious ramen and lychee lemonade. Reasonably priced for New York.

The ramen here is second to none. Very flavourful, everything you want in this savoury dish. The herbs are vibrant and noodles have the perfect consistency.

We enjoyed this restaurant during our stay in New York. It's excellent, plentiful and the prices are reasonable.

My friend strongly recommended this restaurant saying that it’s probably the best Ramen restaurant in NYC. Ramen is not bad, gyoza good also, but a Tuna appetizer too salty.

Cute little place with great food. Only has seats for about 16. Service is fast but not pushy so seats Open quickly. Good variety of food and great prices, Especially for NYC.

Small but welcoming place. Attentive service. Without a doubt the best ramen I've ever tasted. Absolutely amazing !! Super super recommended

Quick, clean and good. Not really a fan of Ramen but came for an experience and it was good! Good and quick service too!

My friend and I just got into town and this was such a treat after a long day of traveling. The nori fries with spicy mayo and crispy pork belly ramen were amaaaaazing. Everything else looked great too.

If I had put what a time is it as my title someone may say time to get a watch but the truth is I am a broke college student who already owns a watch!! Because of this I say it is a time to get a ramen but then I realize I’m not Italian but I sound like I am!! I went here for lunch today with my ramen pal who I call Willie boy Nelson in honor of the country singer and plant cultivator!! We got some gyozas with pork and also ramen with pork and pork buns!! We happen to be very strict vegetarians so the meal wasn’t good for us!! I am obviously joking because meat is the OG thing in this life!! I am going to be critical for the first time in my TripAdvisor existence and say that the pork in the ramen wasn’t really tender and was too chewy and also the noodles didn’t really hold on to the broth!! It still filled my heart with joy and the egg was very runny!! I also got a melon ramune which goes very well with ramen!!

Great lunch ramen. Had the Kuu chili ramen $14. They said medium spicy and I would agree. Better to not go high on spice for lunch anyway! Portion was great, service fast, ramen was excellent. It’s a small place and drinks are basically self serve so I don’t see it as an evening dining choice but that’s just me

The ramen is better than the one in Kyoto. The super fast service and delicious food made our last day in NYC unforgettable. (Awesome raw salmon rice bowl!)

Really nice ramen, with lots of flavour and many options to choose from. The restaurant is located close to all the shopping streets and tourist attractions , making it a perfect place to visit after a long day walking around.

Highly recommend. I had ramen in Austin three days ago and Kuu met the unreasonably high bar. Well you’re starting with some of the best water in both places so there’s that...

a small , very small premises , but managed with helpful and friendly staff . excellent products : ramen is great but also home made “gyoza” ravioli ... delicious.

Good food, gyozas amazing, curry was also good, but not super special, matcha ice cream also very good. Sapporo bear draft served at right temp.

Kuu ramen is nice Japanese food restaurant in New York . When I want to eat Japanese food . I always go to kuu ramen . It’s near my office but I love to go there because I feel better than other Japanese restaurant around there .ramen is very very good but I never forget to eat apitizer it’s very very delicious.

Really lovely little restaurant. The service was A1 and so was the quality. I loved it and so did the family! I took the fu special Friday at 14.00 with a dumpling entry to share. All for 69.00 before tipping for three people. I recommend!!!!!

I searched for ramen places in the area and I luckily got Kuu Ramen! It is small ramen shop in the area I stayed during business travel. I tried Beef miso because I prefer beef as my protein choice and I very satisfied with it. There also several sake and beer to choose, it’s very suitable with the winter season. You could enjoy food and drink at the same time. Server is also nice too. She explain me about some ramen and type of sake. Everything is fast very and delicious! Perfect for solo or small group :)

I came before a swell time and was seated right away. The service was quick and personable and the food came out incredibly fast. The ramen portion was bigger than I expected and I really appreciated the size of the pork as well. Highly recommend stopping in for a pretty solid bite to eat.

Delicious!, I really enjoyed the food and the place it is really cool. Prices are good. Nice place for a meal!

Fantastic food, excellent service. Very cozy place. The experience has been worth it. I would return without a doubt!!

After attending a musical on Broadway we wanted something warm and comforting so ramen it was. We decided upon Kuu Ramen after reading the many positive reviews. They were correct. The Kuu chili noodles were very tasty and just the right level of heat. The Shoyu was also great. The broth, noodles and the 2 pieces of pork belly was so good. Definitely will want to come again if we visit New York again.

Let me start out by saying I am not an expert on Ramen but did spend some time in Tokyo were I have had it. My experience at Kuu was pretty average. Ordered the spicy miso and it came out lukewarm, with cold ingredients. Not sure how that can happen. Sent it back. The taste was decent, but the noodles were yellow low quality and overfilled the bowl. It seemed to be more yellow noodles than anything else. The taste was not bad, but not great either. It seems to be more Korean than Japanese.

This place is a gem. It’s small but totally organized and set up to serve you quickly and get you on your way. But meantime the menu is great. So much to choose from and all of it delicious. Staff are really friendly and don’t rush you at all…it’s the people outside at peak hours waiting to get in that make you want to let them have a seat.

Ordered their Kuu Chili and it has the right amount of heat. i love that it's still bearable and I love how rich the broth without being too much. I would come back for some other stuff.

Good food for the whole family. The frame was super, as well as gyoza. Good service, food arrived quickly. A very good experience.

So happy that I found this place. Small spot in FIDI. I don’t know what to get but my server recommended Kuu Chili! OMG so good! ChiliRamen..OMGsssothisgoodgoogoodgoogogoodgggood
Nice ramen
The restaurant has a nice atmosphere, even though the store is pretty small and the food is nice. The location is nice with the world trade center being only about 0,2 miles away from the world trade center. The service is also nice and quick.
