Excellent place

By Carmen E |

Good atmosphere and attention. This first time I went for option #4 Sapporo Miso Ramen which contained pork, bamboo roots, egg, nori, corn and more. To drink Ozeki Sake. All very good. Absolutely recommended.

Went here for a quick dinner and we had delicious ramen! The ramen had a lot of flavor and the interior was so nice too! The food came out quick and service was very friendly. We will be back soon!

Best Ramen in NYC

By Daria S |

It’s my first time at Kyuramen and i can say that the quality of the food is exceptional and value for money. I had a great dinning experience at the restaurant and it’s especially good to celebrate birthdays here too.

Simple but good

The place is small and very simple for an informal lunch or dinner The quality, however, is definitely good and the prices are super correct even given the area Recommended

Grrreat food, service not so much!

By Hélène V |

Fantastic Food!!! The service, on the other hand, was extremely ordinary. Having to wait 20 minutes for the sake when, the appetizers showed up quite quickly. We felt like being on an assembly line and, at that price, that was quite unpleasant. For that reason, I don’t think we will set foot in that restaurant again!

The best ramen and octopus balls we have ever had.

The ramens and octopus balls were excellent. We would go as far to say the best we have ever had. Our only hope is we have time to go again before we leave for home.

Good Ramen!

Plenty of choices including combos. Spicy Ramen and non-spicy too! Bao buns and green tea pudding! We sat at the bar and watched these hard workers make put the bowls together. Friendly and quick service. I had Shouyu Pork with a side of kimchi- hit the spot on a cold night. I’ll go back if I’m in the area.

The best ramen in time square!

By Cherieleexo |

I work by time square and finding decent lunch spots are hard - until Kyuramen opened! Their appies are sooo good, the popcorn chicken and takoyaki is my favorite - and I also really love their purple sweet potato fries, and their pork belly baos! I get the Tonkotsu ramen everytime, its literally so good and all my friends love it. Highly highly recommend checking them out if you're in the time square area, and theres also other locations around new york too!

Our fantastic first Ramen

By andrea m |

It was a long time that I wanted to try a ramen dish and my family accompanied me on this experience. We were very satisfied with the service and dishes that the waiters recommended. The flavors are a bit distant from the Italian ones, but we still perceived the goodness of the raw materials and the cuisine. Top the purple sweet potato cake and tiramisu at the macha!

A pleasant place to share as a couple or family. We ordered a ramen soup and it was delicious. The staff is very attentive and responsive.

Great food at reasonable prices

This restaurant has good food at reasonable prices in the Times Square area. We shared three appetizers which was enough food. Shrimp tempura, dumplings, and others were delicious.

Nice twin ramen and sets

By Mat - Runner & Foodie |

If I’m looking for something affordable, fast, to eat seating at a normal table and that my son likes, ramen sounds like the perfect option. The other night, while we were waiting to be seated in a Chinese restaurant, i saw Kyuramen across the street and I thought it was a good idea for the following day. So we came back and we were happy to find out that the restaurant was quite empty and that we could get a private room. It’s always nice to have a private room were you can leave you stuff and move as you wish. Another good thing we discovered was that the restaurant offered affordable sets (about $20) and that they also offered what they call twin options, which means that you get 2 different broths in a split bowl. The quantity of pasta is generous but it is too cooked to my taste and the boths’ tastes are not exactly intense. In one of our menus, there also was a pork bao which was very good, but its meat, as the chashu in the ramen, was too greasy. In general, Kyuramen is not a bad option but it’s very, very far from being one of my favorite options. Note that the staff was nice and efficient. Quality & taste: 6/10 Quantities: 8/10 Atmosphere: 10/10 Originality: 6/10 Ratio price / quality: 8/10 Service: 9/10 How I felt afterwards: 7/10 More on IG @runnerandfoodie

Excellent spot for a chilly winter meal!

By June H |

I love so many things about this spot! I love that you get your own personal booth providing privacy and comfort. My friends really enjoyed their ramen bowls. I really enjoyed the Omurice presentation and taste. They do the final touches of cutting the omelette and pouring the sauce right at your table for you social media foodies~ The service was also super attentive and friendly. Would definitely be coming back!

Super Tasty and affordable Ramen

By Giuliano S |

Kyuramen has been my favorite ramen around NYC since its first location opened in queens. I used to travel out of my way for their delicious Tonkatsu Ramen and octopus balls. I was very super happy when I found out about the Times Square location since I'm in that general area pretty often. Now I am thankful to have my favorite ramen in NYC very close to me!
