It's hard to choose among the selection of yummy French pastries at this fast casual style spot. The service was extremely friendly and the coffee and espresso drink delicious.

The place is nice, the waiters and waitresses are adorable and we eat well French. After 5 days of American “food”, it’s a pleasure!

Great coffee, pastries, quiche, croissants, cookies & fruit salads. Down the street from our hotel. Excellent quality & service. A little French escape in NYC.

It's a great restaurant where the pastries and croissants are very good. The hot chocolate is of very high quality. The welcome is perfect especially since they speak French!

It's an amazing cafe and bakery. We are talking serious baguettes and serious viennoiseries here, not to mention the sandwiches, which are as fabulous as they come in Paris. The coffee is great, the service is great, and the place is beautiful. A must if you love or miss French cafes and bakeries.

This bakery is a real corner of France in the heart of New York! As soon as we walk through the door, the smell of freshly baked croissants and artisan bread transports us. The pastries are light, crispy and perfectly buttered, and the bread... a pure delight, with a golden crust and an airy crumb, as they are loved in France. The welcome is warm, the service attentive, and every detail is taken care of. A must-see place for lovers of real French pastry – a little gourmet escape in the middle of Manhattan!

Great croissants and pains au chocolat, served with delicious express or cappuccino. Croissants are as good as in France or Belgium, service is very efficient and welcome is great ! When i said croissants are almost as good as in France, I pas replier as a joie that they are better ! J ai répondu qu il faut quand même pas exagérer! (mais c est vrai !!!)

A beautiful French bakery. Sandwich bread is fresh (a plus for sensitive teeth). Croissants, brest bets, chocolate breads but no chocolatines.;-)

Great place for breakfast. Only thing i did not understand why they did not have the baguettes from the menu in the morning. They only have baguettes in the afternoon.

Top french Bakery in New york. The Ham & butter is just delicious. The team is friendly and smilling!!

We found L'Ami Pierre after a very frenetic and unsatisfying breakfast experience at Maman. [ a few blocks away] What a wonderful find! The food, service and atmosphere were all wonderful! Can't wait to go back!!!

I am in love with the Jambon Buerre (ham sandwich) at L’Ami Pierre. Each bite transports me instantly to Paris. The baguette is both chewy and tender, the ham is Jambon de Paris which is hard to find and the butter is French. Pure nirvana. This casual French cafe is run by Chef Eric Ripert of Le Bernadin and his partner, Pierre Antoine-Raberin. An assortment of foods are available along with delectable French biscuits and chocolates. Tashi, the lady taking orders and Kenny, the barista are both charming and make me welcome every time I come here.

This clean, modern place is excellent for a quick breakfast, lunch or snack. There are many choices from wonderful croissants and other pastries to fruit cups, yogurt, and granola. The coffee was delicious. The prices were reasonable for New York City, and the folks behind the counter were so nice! Great to start your day with such smiling faces. Pierre himself was even helping out the morning we were there!

Had a pesto mozzarella sandwich twice here during my stay in New York. It was a good sandwich. Reasonably priced for New York standards and the staff was nice.

I stopped by L'ami Pierre for the first time because I was looking for something special for a friend's birthday. The bakery was larger than I expected and though there was a small line, it moved quickly, thanks to the efficient staff. The lady who assisted me was courteous, patiently answering all my questions. I ended up choosing the following: 1. Mini Chocolate Bûche: This was my favorite! It was wonderfully chocolatey without being overly sweet, striking the perfect balance that made wish I had bought the big size just for myself. 2. Lemon Meringue Tart: Another winner! This tart was light and not overly sweet, which was refreshing and struck just the right contrast to the bûche. 3. Paris Brest: This was my least favorite but a colleague really enjoyed it. This wasn't my favorite type of pastry. This cafe is worth the splurge. My friends and a colleague raved about the pastries and asked me where the cafe was located. Whether you're celebrating a special occasion or just treating yourself, the quality of the pastries and lunch choices make the visit worthwhile. Besides, do you need an excuse to try a cafe, much less one that specializes in French pastries? Live a little!

Just the best sandwich with amazing crispy bread we ever had like in Paris . Coffee so good and friendly staff

This new restaurant is next door to Le Bernadin, but in a price range a world apart. The the ingredients are locally sourced and the baked goods are delicious. A great place for a quick lunch with a delightful, unpretentious host and friendly staff.

Bestbolace for French sandwich style,0 Pastries are fantastic, from flan to eclairs. Price is competitive with local stores.
A delicious break
Excellent products, we went back 3 times during our stay. Impeccable sandwiches and the height of it…. Having eaten a better quiche than in France. Very well-made coffee or cappuccino in a warm place. Don't hesitate, try it
