Eating here is like to be in Italy. I try pasta homemade and whole fish. The tuna tartar and salmon tartar was unbelievable.

Lovely restaurant near the Rockefeller /5th Avenue/Times Square. Friendly and helpful staff, excellent service and delicious food. Great menu choice and very pretty surroundings. We only found this on our last night but would definitely visit again next time we are in NYC.

We had a party of 8 and were thrilled to get last minute reservations after our broadway play. The welcoming and cozy ambiance started as we walked in the door and were greeted by a lovely hostess. The waiter and manager were helpful, friendly and proficient. Our dinners were all delicious, including scrumptious Chicken Marsala and Margarita Pizza (just the best!) Two of us asked for a mocktail and were not disappointed by the bartender's yummy cherry and pineapple concoction. The deserts were large portions including a tiramisu and chocolate gelato (best to split one!) Our leisurely Venetian dining experience was just perfect for our last night in New York City. Thank you La Piazza!

I had one of the worst dining experiences of my life at La Piazza in New York. The food itself was average at best, but what ruined the entire evening was the management particularly the manager with long hair. His behavior was shockingly rude, dismissive, and completely unprofessional. From the moment we had a simple question about our order, he acted as if we were inconveniencing him. Instead of trying to resolve the situation politely, he raised his voice, rolled his eyes, and made sarcastic comments in front of other guests. It was humiliating and completely unacceptable. Good restaurants understand that customer service matters just as much as food, if not more. Unfortunately, La Piazza clearly hasn’t learned this. The atmosphere was tense because of the manager’s attitude, and it became impossible to enjoy the meal. There are countless other Italian restaurants in New York that not only serve better food but also treat their customers with basic respect. I would strongly recommend avoiding La Piazza if you value courtesy, professionalism, and a pleasant dining experience. No one deserves to be spoken to the way we were spoken to. One star is generous, and it’s only because zero isn’t an option.

One of the best experiences I've ever had in an Italian restaurant was truly unforgettable. As I walked in, the warm, rustic ambiance immediately set the mood with soft lighting, wooden accents, and the comforting aroma of fresh herbs and baked bread. The staff welcomed me with genuine smiles, making me feel like part of the family. The meal began with a basket of freshly baked focaccia paired with robust olive oil and balsamic vinegar. For the main course, I chose a handmade gnocchi with truffle cream and fresh shaved black truffles. The pasta was perfectly al dente, and the sauce burst with layers of savory flavors, complemented by a glass of velvety Chianti. Dessert was a creamy, luscious tiramisu, delicately dusted with cocoa, perfectly balancing sweetness and bitterness. The attentive yet unobtrusive service and the authentic, flavorful dishes made this dining experience feel like a brief, delightful escape to Venice, Italy.

We happened by chance and entering we already noticed that unlike other restaurants it does not smell .. then the atmosphere is right and at first glance everything seems clean .. important factor x NY! Then we ate a first “spaghettone alle vongole” and “tagliata di tonna” .. great for NY .. the pizza has garlic in the tomato dough .. so good but with this flaw. X the wine has a good choice .. obviously at costs decidedly different from Italy .. (like everyone in NY) The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. I recommend it.. after seeing some pseudo Italian restaurant in NY. Have a nice dinner everyone!

My husband and I have had dinner in La Piazza several times. We liked the food and the service is also good. We decided to have New Year's Eve dinner there with our family and made a reservation for seven a few days in advance. During the afternoon of the 31st I received a call and was told the that the regular menu would not be available and instead it would be a fix menu of $195 per person. We had to scramble to find a different restaurant that would take our large party. We were extremely disappointed with the lack of consideration from La Piazza. It should have been clear when making the reservation that the NYE menu was not their standard menu. Or maybe they tell you about the change at the last minute with the intention of getting more reservations that are difficult to change.

Came here after a Sunday Broadway matinee—our second visit in two months—and it was just as great as the first. Warm, tasty flatbreads and top-notch olive oil kicked things off. Drinks and wine were solid. We split the Caesar and Greek salads—both crisp and flavorful. The lobster paccheri and shrimp risotto with burrata were rich, satisfying, and generously portioned. The setting is quiet, stylish, and very comfortable—upscale without feeling stuffy. Service was friendly and efficient. A short walk from the theater district, and absolutely worth it. It’s our new favorite pre- or post-theater spot. We’ll be back.

I highly recommend. If you looking for a hidden ,clean, relaxing spot with the best italian food around you need to check this place out . The service is outstanding and atmosphere is vibrating. We will definitely be back ❤️❤️
