Disaster on Mother’s Day

By eadler12 |

The restaurant was not prepared for the crowd at Mother’s Day. We waited forever to get served and get our food. It came out cold with foods just dumped on the plate not very elegant. The management did not seem to care offered a meager discount. It was a disappointment and a disgrace

New find for us on the Upper Eastside

By Donna G |

Today, my husband and I enjoyed the lunch prix fixe meal at La Voglia, and it was a culinary experience to remember! Alessandro Pendinelli, the chef behind the incredible flavors, brings creativity and passion to each dish that's simply unmatched. Chef Alessandro's dishes are a lovely mix of flavors and textures, a testament to his culinary expertise. The menu, carefully curated with fresh, seasonal ingredients, delivers a vibrant dining experience. Each bite is a journey through a perfectly balanced palate. Service was excellent, and the atmosphere at La Voglia was cozy yet elegant, making it the ideal spot for a delightful midday meal. Chef Alessandro's attention to detail and ability to elevate even the simplest ingredients make La Voglia a standout. For anyone looking for an exceptional dining experience, I highly recommend trying the lunch Prix for $29.00..

Excellent selection of Italian dishes in an elegant setting

By christopherbO9687MP |

La Voglia restaurant has an excellent selection of Italian dishes in an elegant street corner setting. We were here for dinner, and had: • fig salad (with pecans) • caesar salad (with white anchovies) • norcha salad • Pollo Wellington (like beef Wellington, but with chicken) • Capesante (scallops wrapped in procushuto ham + beans & spinach) • mushroom pizza Some of these dishes were very inventive (like the Pollo Wellington), and all were very tasty. The staff were very attentive during our dinner. A nice way to enjoy Italian cuisine.
