Amazing ambience, perfect decor and great presentation

By NycVen13 |

I have been trying to get this reservation since this cafe was opened. Thank God , I have a notify option from Resy . I was grateful to get to this place and met Mr Anthony, a very pleasant person who gave me a confirmed reservation for today with friends. I am totally in awe with the hospitality of Ms Emma and the Anastasia , Jaquel. Especially to met Mr Omar , cordial and very professional. The most important aspect of this whole experience. The polite response and cordial attitude. I highly appreciate of your service and it’s just beautiful all around. Totally pure elegance and excellence. Loved it !!! I can’t wait to come back next month for Valentine’s Day experience. Thank you Le Cafe Louis Vuitton

Amazing birthday brunch!!

By JenLondon2012 |

I tried to make a reservation online for almost 4 weeks prior to coming out to NYC and failed miserably!!! So on Dec 31st (my birthday) we decided to try our chances and do a walk-in. On arrival at 10:05am there was already a queue of around 10 groups in front of us we got to the front by 10:40am and was told to come back at 11:30am for a bar seat, I was over the moon and couldn’t wait to try the food!! Our server was Thomas he was great attentive & knowledgeable without being overbearing, he explained what each dish was with I think a genuine interest in what we would like to try, hats off Thomas you added to the overall experience. We ordered between 2 persons Salmon Eggs Clemence Emilie - Truffle Eggs - Chicken with bok choy ( this dish was actually new on the menu that day and we were the first to try it and it was delicious) compliments to the chef!! Sliders - Pomme Frites. Everything was delicious definitely held up to our expectations I must say though I think I could eat the truffle eggs every day and not get bored!! So all in all if you can get a reservation do give this little gem a go you won’t be disappointed.. 💕💕

Premium Coffee and Dessert spot in Manhattan

By chefbaby2013 |

While browsing at LV on 57th in NY, I noticed the cafe, there was a quite a long wait list for the bar, but I was able to get a table through my Amex Platinum Resy benefits. This is a must for any LV fans. So much fun. The portions are very small, don't look at the price, it's not even worth talking about. It's the perfect place to relax during a long shopping day.

Impeccable French cuisine in the heart of Midtown.

By TangoNY |

Besides high ceiling, high hills, and high budget, this place provides SAN impeccable French cuisine in an ambiance of coziness and smart design. One feels like in a living room with lots of books and couches. The decide was great. Eve and Jose took care of us with professionalism and grace. The only drawback is the portions are rather very small and very expensive. Be ready to spend of about 150 per person without the drinks. It’s definitely worth getting here and enjoying this high-end restaurant.

Perfect, Upscale Lunch

By NYCenteroftheUniverse |

Cafe Louis Vuitton This very pretty, very hyped, upscale cafe lives up to the raves. The delightful ambiance is heightened by the scrumptious cuisine and warmly attentive service. I thoroughly enjoyed the perfectly executed scallop mousse and fresh, light, baby gem salad. Lily, was such a helpful, affable and diligent server who elevated the already delightful experience. I cannot wait to return as next time I shall also partake in the delectable looking desserts. LV Cafe is a great spot for a truly lovely lunch.

Excellent cafe and good taste

By dedyis |

I agree, taste is good, even though a bit pricy. Kind of coffee is good, not too expensive $8 per cup. The main problem for this cafe, getting reservation is difficult. You have to wait in the long period. I love this cafe..

Wonderful

By Joseph L |

They are temporarily located across the street while the permanent location is under renovation. They are right beside Tiffany’s. The food was great, the ambience was great, the servers were pleasant, the experience was wonderful. The prices on the menu are not too expensive as I have expected. The place a wonderful spot for couples to have a meal, or coffee and snacks, but it is a family friendly place too. Better get a reservation, or prepare to be on the wait list for a minimum of 2 hours.

A must do in NY for high food quality enjoyers

By Alain |

We already knew the Louis Vuitton Cafe from Milan (Italy) and wanted to taste it also in NY. The plates, the drinks and also the desserts are excellent. If you’re looking for high quality food away from a lot of trash food in NY, this is the place to go. We went twice in two days. The first day for some desserts for the afternoon and the day after for lunch. We went one hour before to make a spontaneous reservation for the bar as the restaurant tables were full. So even if you cannot book any table online, don’t loose hole and just go and ask them to put you in their waiting list at the bar.

Excellent experience with delicious food!

My friend and I had lunch at the Louis Vuitton cafe. The restaurant is absolutely stunning and very inviting. The food was superb and outstanding. Our server was pleasant & friendly. We both had the delicious lobster rolls & the Caesar salad. For dessert we had the hazelnut entremet & it was delicious. Highly recommend making a reservation at this fabulous restaurant. And make sure you set aside time to explore the store too!

Total fraud.

By gregorio s |

Very nice decoration, sparse breakfast menu, orange juice from boat (passed the waiter with the boat), the quality of breakfast is like a normal cafeteria, it is adorned by LV dishes, the waiters unprofessionalism, one of them sneezed next to me at breakfast and as if nothing, I think LV can not allow this scam, I do not know the quality of lunch, so I do not understand how supposedly a 5-star chef as they say they have can allow such fraud in breakfast. The most it was worth was my daughter's happy face for breakfast there.

100% recommended

Provided how busy le Café Louis Vuitton is, I’m so glad I was able to make it during my trip to NYC this last weekend. Karen, thank you for finding a spot for us, truly appreciated it. The restaurant is located at the 4th level of the Louis Vuitton’s store in Midtown. The ambiance is elegant and modern. Service is top notch, with attention to every detail. We started with the free bread service. The bread was good but the butter was just presentation, I was expecting a creamier butter, typical of French butters, but it didn’t make it. The cappuccinos were alright, good enough but not for $9. I found them kind of weak. As for the food, I had their sliders “1898” which is 2 sliders per order but they were able to add one more as we were a party of 3. It was the perfect bite, with the meat being cooked medium and still juicy for such a small patty. Well done! I also had their signature monogram pea ravioli filled with cheese. This was perfection, just a Michelin dish. I loved it! The third dish, chicken, was another level of cooking, with curry notes and cooked to perfection. One of the best chickens I have had in a while. The Speedy Spicy was not only beautiful but well crafted. My type of cocktail. Lastly, the server recommended us the hazelnut cake as a dessert. I’m glad I listened to her, it was delicious. Looking forward to my next time a Le Café Louis Vuitton. This time I would love to sample their filet mignon and the strawberry charlotte. Those look solid.

Girls Day

By Wandering_Freee |

It was hard getting a reservation but it was worth it. We had a fun girls day and lunch at the café. Drinks were on the small side and $24 each. The sliders were really good as well as the ceasar salad.

consider the halal truck outside for a better meal

I have broken a covenant of some type to dine at a place as such. Expensive, yes, forgettable, yes too, regrettable, absolutely. A eurotourist diversion and a New Yorker subversion. Took the leftovers home since I hate my dog, and they leaked and ruined my LV bag.

Chic, pricey and a tough reservation

By pillowsofwanderlust |

This is a tough reservation to secure. They were gone within seconds the moment they became available online, and I was only able to get a spot for breakfast. I had wanted a lunch/tea time. The Cafe is on the 4th floor of the temporary Louis Vuitton store on 57th, across the street from the main store currently being renovated behind their amazing branded "scaffolding" of giant LV trunks. The temporary store was Niketown at one time, and is fancifully decorated in detail, despite being temporary. The Cafe is similarly decorated, with a library-like feel and a ceiling festooned with LV luggage tags. The dining room is a decent size, and there is a bar where walk-ins are seated. Everything is LV branded, including some of the food. Dishes, glassware and cutlery are stored in LV trunks. Alas, the pen you sign your check with is not branded; if they ever were in the past, they are long confiscated "souvenirs". Surely most of the Cafe's equipment will be transferred to the Cafe in the permanent building. The breakfast menu is more limited than the all-day and afternoon tea menus. There is only one egg dish. I started with the "Louis Vuitton Blend" hot tea, which was mid-level in price. The teas are loose-leaf, served with a strainer. I ordered the vanilla yogurt parfait and the smoked salmon waffle. The parfait was topped with house-made granola and fresh fruit, some of which was cut into the LV clover shape. The potato waffle and cream cheese were also LV-shaped; the smoked salmon was not. It was topped with some marinated cucumber and a sprinkle of dill, but no capers or lemon. Everything was tasty and precious. Surprisingly, they offered their entremet desserts at breakfast time. I got the hazelnut one (over vanilla or chocolate). It was delish, with a gooey ganache and crunchy praline inside. An elegant and tasty but pricey breakfast, surely in line cost-wise with breakfast offerings at luxury hotels nearby, or at Tiffany's Blue Box Cafe next door. I'd return if I could get a lunch/tea reservation.

All in all a nice brunch but I don’t need to return.

By Travellover |

We had a nice brunch here! Service was excellent! Atmosphere was cozy - library room with books on the walls and luggage tags hanging from the ceiling. The food was okay - not outstanding. I thought the smoked salmon and waffle were disappointing. Salmon itself was perfect however the herb cream cheese overpowered them both. Waffle was not a waffle in the sense that we eat waffles in the USA with butter and syrup. It was a savory waffle - which I would not call a waffle. The avocado toast was again too many flavors for me. Avocado was combined with goat cheese and chives atop a seeded bread which also had many different flavors. The cappuccino was smooth and delicious! My husband enjoyed his caviar eggs and salmon waffle.

Great pastries

Food is fabulous and the pastries are delicious took some chocolates home too it’s a bit pricy but cute place. After all, it’s in New York you walk it off so indulge.

Visit Le Café once in your life ..

By Martin van Diest |

It is very nice, but also très chique. Just to have been there once. Ok, it is very pricey, but even the cacao powder on your cappuccino has the Luis Vuitton logo. Book in advance or just hope that there are a few spot left free. You won’t regret it! A must visit!

This is a must in NYC!

Apoptotic jacket

By MARIA CONCEPCIO... H |

I went one day, they told me I had to wait 45 minutes for coffee. I couldn't because I had the helicopter excursion and we couldn't be late. We came back the next day and were told that only by reservation, when the day before I was and they didn't tell me anything to book. We are going expensive and with very little information. Poor service, and we just wanted coffees. Of course I'm not coming back.

Chic and Stylish

By DaisyDuck |

Le Café Louis Vuitton in New York is undeniably chic. The design, ambiance, and attention to detail are exactly what you’d expect from the Louis Vuitton name. The staff is kind, attentive, and professional, adding to the overall upscale experience. However, while the setting is beautiful and the service excellent, the prices are certainly on the high side… even by New York standards. You’re paying more for the brand and atmosphere than the food.

Amazing Experience and can't wait to go back

By Patty H |

I want to Thank Summer for her amazing help in getting into the Cafe with no reservations. She was amazing! ~ She made it happened, and She was wonderful. LV you have a Gem with Summer. She really went out of her way to make a dream of mine in New York come true. She is a Rockstar, and I am forever grateful to her. Amazing Memories because of her and your amazing cafe and can't wait to go back. P.A

Expensive cakes

By Sabena S |

Last month, Age and I went to the LV Cafe for cake. Both of us were dressed nicely for the occasion. The large room had subdued lighting which was a boon for women of all ages. Many customers were either eating or ordering. Both of us had perused the menu before arriving and knew that we could only afford the individual cakes which cost twenty six dollars each. We both chose vanilla which was tasty but after three bites we stared at our plates as we really wanted more. They were bite sized and uber expensive. Service was friendly and kind.

Lovely Louis Vuitton Cafe

By Roblyn |

What outstanding service my sisters and I received at the Louis Vuitton Cafe. We received a warm welcome as we entered the roped off entry way. Then the reservation desk ladies were helpful and seated us. Loved the wait staff and food as well. Got to get the Signature LV Cake after enjoying your tasty entree. OMG! Amazing! We loved our chicken and mashed potatoes!
