The options of this place are wonderful! The cookie is the best I've ever eaten, no shadow of doubt! It's worth trying! One tip: buy goodies at Levain Bakery and pick up on the Central Park lawn! It's sensational!

My wife and I stopped in to this UWS bakery. We ordered a baguette with butter and jam, a cinnamon pastry and a double chocolate cookie with 2 Americano coffees. All great tasting and good to eat. Counter service and limited seating.

Can never find enough reasons to go Levain for those cookies. This location was very clean and new. Looks great. But most of all no line but the quality is still there. Cookies just melted in your mouth. These have to be tried to be enjoyed. Words are not enough.

Thick, chewy cookies. Expensive but worth it for a special treat. I had the double chocolate chip and the oatmeal raisin. Both excellent. I also tried the cinnamon brioche- really really good. I had heard there might be lines down the block but I was there on a weekday morning and there was nobody in there but me and the lady behind the counter. Her service was friendly and efficient.

This location of Levain Bakery serves up the world's best cookie for those on the east side of Manhattan. The store is clean and beautiful, and offers all sorts of baked goods. They take credit cards and have a few chairs with counter space for eating inside. When I went, there was no line!

The best cookies in New York. I tried the lemon one that was delicious both crispy and fluffy. A treat.....as always

We Love Levain’s Cookies. Crunchy, chewy, gooey, and, delicious. Having tried them all, our personal favorites are their Dark Chocolate Peanut Butter Chip and Chocolate Chip Walnut Cookies. Efficient and friendly is the service at this UES location. Highly recommended. Happy Travels Y’all!

This is the newest Levain to open up on the upper east side. We arrived around 7:15pm and the lines were still long but moved very quickly. The store is smaller than the one on the west side (but bigger than the little shack on 74th) but is bright and clean. You can see the counters and the racks of cookies. This place offers an ice cream cookie sandwich after 3pm. I figured it had to be at least $10 since it has 2 cookies @ $4 ea and ice cream. However, the cookie is slightly smaller thus the sandwich was only $6. Although expensive for an ice cream sandwich, not a bad price considering it’s Levain. It was thoroughly enjoyed, split by two people although one person could easily eat it by his or herself. We were heading to dinner so it was shared so as not to ruin our appetite. And of course I always pick up chocolate chocolate chip for my family and I love the walnut chocolate chip as well as the chocolate peanut butter. Can’t leave NYC without getting a few of these LOL. It’s quickly becoming our ritual. Can’t wait for the downtown store in Noho to open as well.

There is a whole lot of goodness in this shop. I came in as a newbie and bought 2 cookies from my server Lexlie who had recommended them. Enormous and delicious!! Thank you Lexlie for your fantastic service!!

I went to see the best cookie in NY and I didn't think it was worth the title, if you're passing by, stop by and check it out, but don't go far expecting something surreal

Best Cookie ever ! Soft , oozing with chocolate ! Hopefully will be back some day ! Stopped here on way to the Met walking from the Q subway line ! Coffee was good too but cookie was sublime

Overhyped cookie place that is a disappointment every time. Cookies are too thick and doughy in the middle. Looks like a hockey puck, tastes like an overly sweet scone. Do not recommend.

We have been fans of Levain’s cookies for decades. Never a trip to New York City without getting Levain’s while we are here or for the ride home. Best warm but easy to heat up. The Original Walnut are the best!

Just get a couple of the chocolate walnut cookie, they are fantastic. That one with a hot chocolate or a glass of milk and Santa is going to bring you all the presents you'll ever need! 🤪

Cookie monster here! Omg best cookies in the entire world! And look how ginormous it is, a must try in NYC! Location: It is located in Upper East side, it is at the corner of subway station so you won’t miss it! The interior is huge but not dine in cause of covid! But very organize. Service: not really interact with them, just buy and go! But you might ask them if it is your first time! Food: Everything was so delicious and ginormous! You will love all the flavors! CHOCO CHIP WALNUT: this the original flavor, this is so good! Best choco chip cookie I had! Big chunks of chocolate inside! DARK CHOCOLATE CHIP: omg so dark and gooey! Perfect for tea! DARK CHOCOLATE PEANUT BUTTER: this is my favorite!! A must if you go! The chunks of peanut butter pieces is just heavenly good! I don’t usually like peanut butter but this is an exemption! CHOCO CHIP BRIOCHE: meh, sorry this is the list I like here, the brioche itself is hard and taste old, maybe only that day. So just by cookies! Price rating: 7/10, the price matches all the deliciousness! Not bad for all the goodness. Been here multiple times so I am sure I am going back for the gooey deliciousness cookies! Get the DARK CHOCOLATE PEANUT BUTTER!!

A highly recommended cake bakery. Crispy cookies that melt in your mouth. Very, very recommended. The side dish with the coffee was spot on after the walk in Center Park

We grabbed 4 Cookies to go here after dinner last night. The line was long and service was slow but eventually we had the cookies. All were very good with the Lemon being the stand out for me although they are pricey for cookies. I'm not sure the lines are worth the experience though.

Really good cookies. Although I went there 15 minutes before closing, they had different variety of cookies and the waitress told us there were only 2 options for cookies. But I could see she had more of other kinds on the trays.

These cookies really speak for themselves. The Chocolate Chip Walnut and the Dark Chocolate Peanut Butter Chip cookies are superb, the best cookies I ate in my entire life, and I’m really looking forward to eat them again in my next visit to NYC. Due to we wanted to eat the famous cookies, we had a small lunch there, some pizzas and a baguette, which were also great. The staff was nice. Highly recommendable

My favorite was the chocolate chip walnut cookie, warm, just out of the oven. It was so rich it was hard to finish.

We had to try these biscuits... And let's try them. A bomb, they are huge, they fill you up enormously and they are also very good. Get some more to take away, they cost $5 each, true, but they're worth it.

Everyone says "they are the best cookies in NYC" and what do you do not try them?! Of course I try them and I have to say they are really good, the best? I don't know. I took the classic and I must say that I found it really important, nice full of chocolate, nice big, let's say that after a cookie of Levain you are good for a while. Not too sweet, not grout but it is really chocolatey and very challenging.

I agree with the last reviewer....I went to this store on opening day.... nice decor, clean and new. a little computer glitch using my credit card to make a purchase. otherwise, great transaction. no waiting, pleasant counter help. Best oatmeal raisin cookie I have ever had. Soft, thick and chewy. Highly recommend!

I tried Levain for the first time during the worst of the pandemic and had my orders delivered. I’ve never looked back. Their scones brightened up my lockdown weekends. The best I’ve ever had. I love this bakery. Everything they make is delicious and the staff are very friendly.

I stopped by to pick up some cookies because all of the Levain locations are out of the way for me, but I happened to be in the neighborhood - so I thought, why not? I did the classic chocolate chip walnut, two chip chocolate chip (is this new? I never knew it existed until this location), and made a last minute decision to get a chocolate brioche. The cookies are your classic Levain cookies. You either like them or you don't. I personally think they are a bit too sweet, but my husband loves these cookies. I didn't love the brioche because the texture was kind of off - maybe almost stale? But again, my husband loved this too, so maybe it's just me. There was no one there on a Monday at around 11, and the interior is spacious and clean so it's a nice location if you're looking to pick up some Levain.

Ordered 3 cookies, the peanut butter chocolate, the double chocolate chip and the walnut chocolate chip. Simply delicious ! Would go back and try their other offerings, including their breads and especially the chocolate brioche which looked fantastic.
