Just been here with my boyfriend and my sister everything was spot on, the food the service the atmosphere We will definitely be back

We had a lovely lunch at Lezzet. The service was good and the food was well prepared and delicious. I had been craving yogurt kebab and Lezzet really delivered. We also had the hummus and the chicken shish kebab - very good. If we lived closer, I would eat there every week.

A superb food, kind staff, excellent location and good price for New York standards. Try their babaganoush and hummus, as well their bread is a heaven!

I know my Turkish food, and the appetizer and two entrees we tried were authentic and tasty (Lezzet means flavor/taste so it’s accurate!) The lamb Adana kebab had just the right amount of spice, over the perfectly seasoned eggplant puree with yogurt in the Ali Nazik dish. Would love to come back to try more dishes!

We live part time around the corner of this new Turkish restaurant. The outside tables were lovely. The humus was surprisingly bland, so was the Greek salad. The branzinni was delicious and came with another salad. Our waiter should have suggested something else besides the Greek salad that we ordered. It was a lot of salad. Service was nice. Just not a memorable or special meal.

Good food, good service, good value! Thanks for an awesome visit! The kofta was amazing! BYOB until they get their license.

My husband & I dined inside here on a Saturday evening and had a very enjoyable dinner. He made a rez online and were seated right away upon arrival. They have a lovely, covered & heated shed outside, as well. The maitre de asked for proof of vax which was comforting and the staff wore masks. There is a short flight of stairs down to enter the restaurant, but there is a lift for those that need it. The restaurant is charming, well-lit, with white walls with artwork, and red banquettes with a bar upon entry. Our waitress was professional and gave great service. The drinks were lovely and the food was FABULOUS!!! Every dish was flavorful and delicious. I would highly recommend an authentic Turkish meal here!

First time reviewer, long time eater. No, I’m not Turkish, but I have eaten my fair share of Turkish cuisine, including in Istanbul and 5 & counting in NYC, and I must say the food is deeelicious. No, that’s not completely accurate, the food is heavenly. We got the Turkish meatballs and chicken Adana and both were amazing, and I hate using the word amazing too often bc when everything’s amazing, then nothing is. Anyways, sorry I’m still on my Lezzet high. The humus is good. The baba ganoush was really good. The bread was really really good. Make yourself very happy and go.

I was visiting NYC for business and with colleague and friend we decided to have lunch here. I had been here on a previous trip and wanted to come back. As a Turk I am very picky about Turkish food. All I have to say is Bravo!!! I started with the eggplant salad and it was as good as what you would get in Turkey. Very fresh and tasted like your mother would make it, just delicious. The next course was the Doner Kebab. You could tell it was home made and served with rice and again you would have thought you were in Istanbul. The service was top notch, very friendly staff and the lunch special prices were very affordable, especially for New York. I would highly recommend this restaurant and look forward to going back and trying more delicious dishes.

This new restaurant of the Upper East Side is neat and presents nicely upon entering. The service is responsive and the portions are generous and delicious. Interesting seasonings without being overdone and white meat chicken came out moist and tender. I had the Chicken Adan and it was perfect

We had an excellent early dinner at this east 60s restaurant before heading crosstown to Lincoln Center. Menu offers variety of Mediterranean & Turkish appetizers and entrees. Our servers were attentive. A nice “find”. Give yourselves plenty of time to enjoy a meal here in pleasant setting.

Stopping here was on a whim while visiting the city with my dad. I wanted to have some ethnic food as I live in a small town out west. We picked the RIGHT SPOT! The food was fabulous. We took advantage of the two course lunch special that allowed us to share and try quite a few items. Everything was fabulous!! The food had been so great when even ordered two desserts to get a taste of something we’ve had something we haven’t. The Kunefe was a quick favorite and paired great with a Turkish coffee that was beautifully strong and smooth, no bitterness. I’d definitely return if I find myself in NYC again.

Lunch was good — lentil soup could have been better a little thicker or with some crushed lentils for mouth feel. Hummus and bread starred. Pleasant fast service. Clean and modest decor.

This place is addictive! The food truly is FRESH and FLAVORFUL. Haven’t had better hummus, bread, grape leaves, lamb or fish. The service is lovely and attentive. We never feel rushed. The portions are large enough to share between two people, and that makes the overall cost quite moderate. So glad we discovered this little gem!!

Lezzet is a delicious restaurant. The food is outstanding and the service very attentive. It is almost impossible to find okra or stuffed grape leaves in NYC.

Found this place online and decided to give it a try. It’s BYO because they don’t have a liquor license yet. The food was terrific. Our wait staff was great and took plenty of time to answer our questions and give us some advice. I had the Doner Kebab which was wonderful. It was very thin and tender. The favor was good, but not strong. It came with some type of red sauerkraut, although I’m sure that’s not what it is called. That had a lot of flavor. I would come again.

I live around the corner from Lezette and I am so glad this place opened. I go there frequently. Since Covid-19, they have built a very good outdoor dining area. I sat outside this Summer and I must say it was extremely pleasant. It is a side street and was pretty calm. The eggplant salad and the Babaghannous are the best I have ever had. I also love their Lentil soup, okra and turkish meatballs. The food is coupled with amazing homemade bread and rice which is perfectly made. The staff are always very nice and professional. I can't think of anything negative to say. I highly recommend Lezette!

This is a very nice spot for a casual lunch on a pleasant day, sitting or facing outside on busy Lexington Avenue. Our salads were good, and the service was good as well.

Small but well curated menu. Absolutely outstanding pita --super fresh, tender, tasty. Nice portion of liver as app, slightly breaded and well cooked. Side of good white sauce on request. Mixed grill platter. Lamb adequate, chicken"chops" terrific. Attentive, unobtrusive well trained front of the house staff.

A casual friendly spot with no miss Mediterranean cuisine. Amongst the many yummy dishes are shepherd salad with added feta and vegetable casserole with or without protein added . Special back room for private or large parties . Don’t miss it !!
Not good food!!!!
The worst Turkish food ever!!! I had an incredibly disappointing experience with the Mediterranean food from this place. I wanted to order catering from them but decided to try their food first, and I'm glad I did. The order was incomplete - missing sodas and white sauce. The food was terrible - the liver cubes were hard as a rock, the rack of lamb was overcooked, pulled beff was served as a beef gyro, the falafel had no flavor, the kofte was undercooked, and the beef shish was barely edible. Unfortunately, the rest of the "high quality" food ended up in the garbage.
