This restaurant is superb. Our meals were excellent, perfectly cooked dishes, and served by attentive and very competent staff. If you're in the vicinity of Union Square - try it out. You'll be more than pleasantly surprised. On 18th street, South side, between 5th & 6th.

Convenient , pleasant and good food I had fish and the other diners had steak frites and scallops The appetizers were the crunchy canelones ( I could have eaten 10) and the whipped tahini Service speed was perfect

A little over a year ago, my wife and I embarked on the fruitful journey of dining at Little Maven. All of our initial trepidations about dining at a new restaurant were unequivocally washed away the moment we stepped in and were greeted with a big smile by the welcoming staff. Once seated, we couldn’t contain our excitement excitement as delicious course after delicious court was brought to our table, each with its own unique twist on common culinary trends. The meal was divine, and so was the atmosphere: Since then, we have regularly returned to the resurgent, always pleased with the food and consistent dining experience. In fact, we will be attending our first Maven Hour tonight and couldn’t be more excited. Cheers to Maven and all those done at this wonderful, delicious, yet relaxing environment. -B

Little Maven does not disappoint! It's as beautiful as the pictures you see online. We were treated to a special meal under the attention of Chef Capon -- a very charismatic and kind man. We probably tried about half the menu and there was not a single thing I wouldn't suggest. BUT, I will call out my favorites...the mushroom laab, shrimp scampi, beet salad, and beef empanadas for starters. I LOVED both duck dishes, the dry aged duck and duck orecchiette. My other favorite main was the steamed black bass... it was perfectly cooked a curry sauce I could have licked off the plate. To end with the Passionfruit Basque Cheesecake...WOW!! I so very much love cheesecake and this is one of the best I've EVER HAD! The staff was so professional, kind, and attentive. I have nothing but rave reviews for Little Maven!
