The food was amazing (and so much of it was gluten-free/allergy friendly)!! Carolina was our waitress and she was so accommodating (especially because one of our party was running a bit late). 10/10 would come here again in a heartbeat

If you and your friend are seated on the patio next to a party of 12 and you see that you have the same server as that big party, quickly move inside. I wish we had. But - our drinks were comped because of that inconvenience -- and we didn’t even ask for anything. That showed class. Recommend the veal meatballs, French fries, mussels and eggplant parm app, which was exquisite. The mussel broth was so delicious we puzzled over why. Just outstanding flavor. We would come back, no doubt.

Emily is a fantastic waitress and took good care of us during our stay. She recognized us right away when we came in for our second visit. The food and drinks were great.

Greg the bartender is the man! He was an amazing bartender with awesome suggestions to explore the city. If you need a good drink come see him!

After 15 visits to New York we finally found the best coffee we've ever had in the USA! We ate here several times for breakfast and brunch. The Baked Eggs and the Avocado toast were our favourite breakfasts, and the Burger and the Veal meatballs were our pick of lunch options. We went for coffee most days. Great Australian barista who makes coffees Aussies rave about. Cool atmosphere cos it's in the Motto foyer area so there's lots of people watching and activity. Highly recommend.

We had a great time at Lulla. Joey our server was absolutely amazing. He took care of our entire party. Made great recommendations and made our entire experience incredible. We will definitely be coming back. Absolutely amazing experience.

We love hotel bars that strive for excellence and we just found probably a top 5 hotel bar in NYC. Dave is a true artist/mixologist & crafts some of the best drinks we ever had. This spot will now become one of our "must go to" NYC bars. Dave relayed that new cocktails are imagined and crafted frequently, while old favorites remain on the menu - looking forward to the new Fall cocktails coming soon.

We had the $55 Sunday family-style dinner for the four of us, and we added a branzino, which was delicious. Everything was good to excellent with the exception of the eggplant, which was just ok. This was a friendly maybe even trendy Italian restaurant that shoud have great success!

Came to Lulla for a late lunch with a friend and loved the experience. Caught aperitivo hour which starts at 3pm and started things with an aperitivo box for two for $26 which was a great spread filled with everything from sliced nuts and house made focaccia, to a delicious meatball and tomato and mozzarella salad. I opted for a cucumber and tonic mocktail and my friend had a spritz which she loved. Then we got the mussels cioppino which was the perfect sized dish to share and it was delicious. We also got the crispy artichoke hearts which were wonderful. Loved the service and the perfect Al fresco setting with coverage overhead just in case there was a summer shower. Definitely want to head back for more - highly recommend!

Emmy was great! I had the steak, very flavorful. The sauv blanc was very tasty. Ended the night with tiramisu, an excellent choice!

Fantastic service matched by fantastic food! We enjoyed our daily breakfast here and also delighted in dinner one night and drinks at the bar on a couple of nights. I complimented the manager on her staff and she replied that when she hires, she keeps in mind that you can teach skills, but kindness is what makes the difference. The staff were outstandingly friendly. Kudos to Chloe, Jenny and Hudson in the mornings. In the evening we were delighted with the service from Carolina who is a server/ very creative bartender. The menu also makes eating Gluten free very easy.

We love Harrison. Food is great but Harrison is even better. Just great service. Also the ravioli is gorgeous and definitely try all the spritzes they’re so good.

Our Christmas eve dinner prefix menu was divine! The eggplant parm and foccocia were favorites. Our waitress Cec was absolutely wonderful. Can’t wait to come back!

Bento is excellent at his craft as bartender and very service oriented and attentive all while multi tasking and making 100’s of drinks. Busy night at the restaurant so I sat at the bar. Food was delicious and wine excellent. Service was exceptional!

The customer service here is excellent!! Taylor and Dave were so amazing! Taylor helped us plan out where to visit, as this was our first time to NYC! Dave made sure our drinks were always filled.

Brayan makes the best expresso martinis ask for him on the second floor. This has to be 100 characters so the the other drinks I got were good and he showed me a smooth tequila that’s actually real tequila he actually cares about the drinks he makes

LOVED this place!! First and foremost they have TONS of vegetarian options on their menu which I really appreciated. All the options looked amazing but my friend and I both got the Honeynut Lasagna and it was phenomenal. They also have a daily happy hour from like 4-7pm and we got the $12 spritzes which were also really delicious. The vibes were also amazing. The restaurant is really cute and they also had live music playing which just added to the fun! The server we had was really nice and we had such a nice time.

Wow, the drinks and service were amazing! Jordani helped us twice and both times he was super friendly and helpful. He welcomed us and made sure we were taken care right away even when it was busy. We will definitely be going back!

The food is wonderful. The bartenders are great. I was in New York for Fashion week and went here twice for dinner. We found it last year and loved the location, ambience and food. the appetizer tray with a sampling of many delicious appetizers is our favorite. . We sit at the bar, which is beautiful, the bartenders are great with great service. Dave and Viktor took good care of us this past week. Many bars in New York City are loud with chatter and music and you can’t hear your companion, but Lulla is a perfect dining or drinks choice.

Great experience overall. Food, atmosphere and especially service. My server Chloe was ON IT. Very attentive and I felt extra taken care of. Definitely will come back.

I stopped by and asked the host, Jessica, if I could use the restroom. She was incredibly kind and let me in without even asking me to order something first — such a rare and thoughtful gesture. The jazz music playing in the background added to the cozy and elegant atmosphere. Absolutely a place I’d love to come back to and spend more time in!

Nice Italian meal A little strange that it's in the lobby of a hotel you eat in. But if you put it aside, the food is fantastic. And what service. We had one in our company who couldn't stand onions. And vupti then made the kitchen a dish that they didn't have on the menu. Could not put a finger on the food

Sat at the bar with a few friends and got amazing service from two lovely and talented bartenders, Carolina and Kaylee. They made great drinks, stayed attentive, communicated well, and even helped sort out a discount issue at the end. They went above and beyond and took extra off for the inconvenience. Highly recommend grabbing a seat in front of those two bar goddesses!

TAYLOR!.! She is absolutely amazing. We are traveling from Texas and she helped us plan our entire trip and served us well. She was so kind and helpful. EVERYONE ask for Taylor at the bar.

the atmosphere was great i loved the dim lighting and our server carolina was amazing! so sweet and kind and super efficient, fast, and just really really nice. If you get carolina your lucky! the food portions look small but are super filling and the cookies are a must! the pasta is so delicious and the location is an easy find!

I’m a regular at the Lulla Bar at the Motto Hotel in NYC, and every visit reminds me why I keep coming back. The entire staff is fantastic—always warm, welcoming, and attentive. From the moment I sit down, I’m greeted like family. Christian Bernal, in particular, is an outstanding bartender. His professionalism, kindness, and attention to detail truly set him apart. On my most recent stay, he went above and beyond by picking up donuts for my son’s birthday, just to make my checkout and travel home smoother. That kind of thoughtfulness speaks volumes. The drinks are top shelf, the food is consistently excellent, and the atmosphere is the perfect blend of inviting and sophisticated. Whether you’re staying at the Motto or simply nearby, Lulla Bar is well worth a visit. I can’t recommend it highly enough.

Having a three night get together in NYC. Enjoyed our stay at Hilton Motto three years ago so decided to return. After long days of activity in the city, we were happy to have drinks and dinner in house with no more going out. Found our dinners to be very good and staff was lovely. Carolina was our bartender and server for two nights. Very pleasant and personable. Professional and helpful with food and drink choices. Definitely a positive addition to our stay!

I went with my friends for a cute dinner, and it was amazing! The pasta and focaccia were amazing and the chocolate chip cookies were to die for! Carolina was our waitress and she was wonderful and very attentive!

Lulla at the Motto Hotel is amazing. We sat outside for dinner and the vibes and food were delicious. The Apertivo Italian Bites Box has a little bit of everything, and was a perfect start to start the meal with our cocktails. Our server Joey was so helpful and recommended the Branzino and the Skirt Steak, both cooked and seasoned to perfection. We finished the evening with their house made Limoncello, which I highly recommend. Can’t wait to revisit when I’m back in the neighborhood.

We went as a family to Lulla for Saturday brunch. The location is charming and extremely popular. Sam our server could not do enough for us! Looking forward to our next visit to Chelsea, we fully intend to visit Lulla and sit in Sam’s section again!

My wife and I were visiting from the uk and staying at Moto by Hilton so this place became our base for the week.we were made to feel so welcome by the friendly staff from day one ate breakfast and dinner and had light meal one evening and all food was extremely good and service was great at all times highly recommended for a drink or food when in NYC big special thanks to Megan Kayleigh Carolina Jennifer and verlando thanks for making our first trip to the states feel so welcoming.

Had such a great time here. It’s a beautiful and spacious restaurant, while we sat at the bar area the bartender Beto, who took care of us, was amazing. Met up with my best friend for Aperitivo Hour at Lulla and had the best time. The restaurant has a Limoncello Lounge but we opted to be al fresco since the weather was perfect. Their Aperitivo Box which can easily be shared by 2-4 people was the perfect mix of appetizers to pair with our Limoncellos and Martinis. The service was fantastic too. Highly recommend!

Travel critics often insist that the last thing a traveler should do is eat in the hotel that he is staying in. But hotels have changed that image. Take Lulla's, where my wife and I had breakfast in our first morning in New York City. Located at 113 West 24th Street, in the Mott by Hilton New York City Chelsea Hotel, it offers a doubleheader sweep, breakfast from 7 to 11 daily and late night from 10 until closing. In always crowded New York City, it is most enjoyable to find a convenient dining spot where you don't have to wait in line or shout so the person at your elbow can hear. My wife and I arrived early for breakfast. She had a cup of cappuccino, a pastry, an omelette with roasted tomato, chives and provolone with crispy fingerling potatoes and bacon. I had a glass of fresh squeezed orange juice, a pastry and buttermilk pancakes with New York maple syrup, nutella cream, breakfast sausage and white toast with plum and strawberry preserve. Later, exhausted from our first day of sight-seeing in New York City, we opted to see what the late-night crowd was all about. We relaxed with marinated olives, French fries and chicken Milanese sandwiches with sun dried tomato, pesto, arugula and parmesan cheese. What do the travel critics know?

This is a lively, spacious setting for fun with friends. The upstairs is super-cute and instagram-ready. Just don't come for the food. Maybe don't even eat! I ordered the arugula salad with grilled shrimp and both were seriously unappetizing. The salad was drenched with dressing, with a weird powdered garlic taste, and the shrimp was dry and leathery. My two companions left their burgers half uneaten.

We sat outside and enjoyed some good appetizers, the eggplant was delicious, dinner was good with high marks for the lamb ravioli, and the old fashioneds were excellent as well. Emily was out server and made the whole night fantastic! Highly recommend and ask for Emily!

Lulla is an incredible restaurant. The food is absolutely incredible. I have been here countless amount of times and every time I come it exceeds my expectations. A few of my favorite dishes are the chicken piccata and the muscles. On top of the awesome food and drinks, the service is also incredible. I was lucky enough to have Chloe as a server. She made our experience so enjoyable. She gives great suggestions and knows exactly what she’s talking about. Joey is also an amazing server. His personality is incredible and makes our dining experience that much better.

I came back in October with my friends - my sister came and recommended Lulla to me. The atmosphere and food were amazing. But let me just say.. the service was INCREDIBLE. Chloe was our server and I could not be more satisfied - she was incredible and really sweet !! Her enthusiasm, attitude, and kindness really stuck with me. I totallyyyyy fell in love with Lulla and need to come back. Chloe also knew all the good food and drinks to order and even made conversation beyond ordering.

During our stay at a hotel across the street, we stumbled upon this gem of a restaurant, and it turned out to be an absolute highlight of our trip. Originally, we had planned to head to Little Italy, but after reading glowing reviews and noticing that this spot was conveniently located next door, we decided to give it a go—and we’re so glad we did! From the moment we were greeted, the experience was top-notch. We opted to sit outside, and our server, Carolina, was an absolute delight—attentive, warm, and incredibly helpful with her recommendations. Her knowledge of the menu made choosing dishes easy, and everything she suggested was spot on. The food was beyond our expectations. The hand-cut fettuccine, served with veal meatballs, was cooked to perfection—savory, tender, and full of flavor. The Agnolotti, filled with mascarpone, was a standout with its creamy, nutty filling. The Linguine Vongole was also a highlight—perfectly cooked al dente linguine tossed in a rich, briny white wine sauce, featuring plump, tender clams. It was light yet flavorful, with just the right amount of seasoning and a hint of garlic. A true seafood lover’s dream. We also tried the appetizer bites sampler, which was the perfect way to start the meal. It included a generous selection of all their appetizers, and it was more than enough to share around the table. Each bite was a delicious taste of what they have to offer, allowing everyone to try a bit of everything. To top off the evening, we were greeted by Megan, the manager, who was full of energy and just as friendly as Carolina. Together, they made our night unforgettable. Their warmth and enthusiasm really set the tone for an incredible dining experience. For dessert, we indulged in warm, freshly baked chocolate cookies paired with ice cream. The cookies were perfection—gooey and not overly sweet, just the right balance to end the night on a high note. We’ll absolutely be recommending this place to our friends and family visiting New York. It’s a must-try!
