Not for serious eating

By Robert H |

Nice place for drinks and chat but not for eating. Food was ok no real distinction. Drinks were apparently good the expressed opinion was OMG they’re expensive.

Great vibe

By Essexboy |

Great looking Boho style Cafe - sidewalk seating and a relaxed vibe - sat outside in the evening for a beer - lovely! Didn't eat as we went to find someplace else as we explored - but the food looked great & reasonably priced compared to other restaurants.

Great for lunch

By Erik |

Lots of fun with a table on the sidewalk. Food and service were excellent. Location cannot be beat. We would love to return someday.

A great discovery in Coconut Grove.

By Michaël F |

Initially, we stop at “gag” because it is the nickname of our young people. In the end, a very nice discovery, an excellent meal, very attentive and friendly staff. A wonderful address in Miami.

Great place for brunch

By Michael T |

This is a great place for brunch. The menu is extensive, the prices are reasonable and the service is good. The food was a bit salty but pretty tasty. While it was packed, the service was good.

Across the street from Greenstreets but popular too

By Connie B |

Fun and friendly. We had a big table and everyone enjoyed their meal. When our adult son comes to town, he dines here on the first night. Hopefully he invites us too!

Overrated

By Day P |

I was so excited to finally eat at Lulu, it has wonderful reviews but it turned out to be one of the worst and most expensive lunch I ever had. The burger was really dry and not very tasty. The drink was ok and the dessert so so. Nothing memorable about this restaurant. First and last, very dissapointed. This place is one of the most OVERRATED restaurants in Miami.

Great food with nice atmosphere!

By Michelle O |

We sat outside during Memorial Day weekend really nice to people watch. Great restaurant, staff was friendly, food was great. We had the goat cheese croquettes ts, and wings which were really good. I loved my fish tacos with a side salad. Everyone seemed to really enjoy their food.

At least somewhere to eat

By franklinj87 |

I was a little bored of the restaurants offering fries, burgers and past.... all places with the same menu :S Lulu had many healthy choices, good beers and the great sercice... I had a lagunitas beer and a herb crusted salmon. Also shared hummus wish was pretty good. Best place I've eaten in USA so far.

Clearly overrated

By Teresa L |

We decided to have lunch here because it was one of the top rated restaurants in coconut Grove. What a disappointment. The service is nearly a disaster, they were not able to keep track of the customers on the waiting list and we ended up waiting for 30 min, until we decided to check with the waitress if she had forgotten about us. And all that, for just average eggs benedict. I still don't understand how come this is one of the top rated restaurants in the area. Clearly overrated.

Nice local ambiance.

By Gloria B |

Menu was limited for my crown but it's in the center of a trendy spot so it's always packed. Nice to walk around.

Unique atmosphere; delicious food

By Heather S |

My friends and I happened upon this cool spot when walking around Coconut Grove finding a place to eat. I am glad we did because it was amazing food, great service, a cool ambiance, and an overall pleasant evening. The fish tacos were extremely good!

Great Options and Food

By RonAndRhea |

We've walked past thus restaurant countless times while visiting the Coconut Grove area. Finally decided to go in. Very glad we did. The food was excellent, and with the option of a standard size meal or tapas style small plates gives you many options. We did a combo of both, and we both walked away completely satisfied. Will definitely have to remember for next time we're in the area.

Highly Recommended.

By Codiak! |

We were in the area to attend my daughter's Commencement at a nearby university. A special occasion -- her becoming a Veterinarian -- deserves a special celebration. We came here and could not be happier with the choice to do so. The service was top notch and the food and wine selections outstanding. I would highly recommend coming here!

Superb food exceptionally presented!

By Jim T |

10 of us enjoyed a spectacular feast that will be hard to beat! Every dish was delicious and all agreed the best dinner party together for some time. Servers Ruthie and Stephanie were knowledgeable, charming and very efficient. Highly recommend this restaurant.

Noting gluten free despite what it says

By eagleman13 |

Only gluten free option was a salad Staff were abrupt not very friendly at all didn’t seem bothered if we ate or not so we left

Dissatisfied

By Margaret |

Went for the bloody mary, did not get what is advertised in magazines, photos, and ratings. No spicy rim, no Mason jar, no garnishes besides a dirty celery stick, clearly no care given. Not going back. Lulu restaurant, you need some quality control because that was sad. Cute place to take pictures.

Didn't want to feel like a tourist

By cjbrossi |

My daughter and I went down to Miami for 72 hours to visit the U. While we were walking around the lady in the information booth suggested Lulus - WOW great food, great service and fun atmosphere. My S'mores waffle was so tasty and CRISPY. Not too sweet just yummy. Sitting outside was relaxing even thought the place was packed. Great place to eat.

Great restaurant, amazing food

By Livib87 |

Really loved this place, the food is so tasty and interesting. You can also sit outside in a very comfortable terrace. Service is fast and friendly. Would definitely recommend this place!!

Eat Your Vegetables

By retiredbuddies |

We had reservations were seated promptly. The service was excellent. The manager stopped by afterwards and we had a very nice discussion about he food. We ordered the brusselspouts - get them. My husband had the fish tacos and I had the scallops. Both dishes were very good. There's outside seating if you like.

Surprisingly well crafted food in a nice relaxing setting

By Philippe A |

This restaurant sits right across from Greenstreet cafe (same owner). The vibe is nice and relaxed and the service ultra friendly. The experience is more polished than at Greenstreet cafe and prices reflect it (still moderate, so you won't break the bank). There is a range of small plates, Latin American as well as "Americano-European" and there is literally something delicious for everybody. It is a great place to visit when you seek energy without rambunctiousness. We visited twice (one dinner one lunch and loved both occasions).

Good for brunch only

By 02regina |

The first time I ate here was about a year ago for Sunday brunch with some friends and I really enjoyed it, so when I was back in town i decided to go back for lunch. I was really disappointed on my second visit. Rude is an understatement to describe my waiter. I ordered a cocktail and when I handed my ID (from my home country) to her she screwed her face and asked "where is this even from?"... it was written at the top, like on any other ID. The food wasn't bad but I enjoyed the brunch menu much better from what I remembered from my first visit. I don't think I will ever eat here again to be honest.

Relaxed Atmosphere and Great Food

By Fingerlakeskris |

We loved our dinner at Lulu. Loved the restaurants vibe and we had great service. We recommend the filet, the scallops, fish tacos and the crunchy green tomatoes.

Yummy

By kayadog123 |

We ate at Lulu's twice in the last two months. (We are locals). The food is just great. We loved the meatballs, octopus, tuna tacos, fried green tomatoes, goat cheese croquettes etc. The first time we visited we had excellent service but the second visit was a disaster. We went for a late lunch during the week. Our waitress was inattentive, unwelcoming, and very slow. She did not even bring us our entrée as another waiter brought it after a long wait and my questioning where was our food? I will go back as the food is just great but will switch tables if I have the same server.

Amazing food and service

By Sara O |

I just came from this amazing place and want to share that the food was great, prices reasonable but the best is the service. My server Patrick was excellent. He was very courteous and friendly. He came frequently to check on our needs and to see if the food was what you expected. I took my son Wallys for his birthday and they even surprised us with a complimentary dessert, sang happy birthday to him and even took pictures. I definitely recommend this wonderful place and will be back soon. In addition it is in the heart of beautiful and tropical Coconut Grove.

Superb evening

By Lauren T |

We had a delicious, relaxed dinner here. The food was incredible - happy hour starters of humus and chicken wings, main courses of burger (on the most divine brioche bun) and mahi fish tacos with asparagus. We sat outside to soak up the atmosphere... the staff were super efficient and our waitress Erica was very helpful and friendly!

brunch

By Miriam H |

Amazing food amazing service 5 out of 5. Recommend sitting in the bar side for a more one on one type of experience.

Eclectic tasty FUN LuLu style

By Maxx882 |

The name LuLu makes me smile...and so, too, is the experience at this contemporary cafe complete with a playful artistic ambience created by the owner. Perfect for people watching or private conversations, the atmosphere is fun. The food is tasty. Will definitely return.

Amazing

By Journey211678 |

First time in Coconut Grove with the family and the staff were so helpful with accommodating seating options. The food was amazing! Highly recommend the jalapeño mashed potatoes

The Real Deal

By Marty O |

Inside and outside seating. On a Friday night it was very busy. Busiest place around. Wide menu, good servers, fair pricing and tasty food. I will return.

Romantic and delicious brunch

By Michelle W |

Christmas morning brunch with an amazing Peruvian pepper laced Bloody Mary. food was deliciious and, even on a packed morning, the service was great.

Loco for Coco Grove!

By Ben |

Great food in the Grove! Had three couples, each ordered an entree and then had multiple small plates. Also had a pitcher of the Coco Grove for the table. Wouldn’t have done it any other way! Looking forward to being back already!

Perfect lunch to share

By Emma W |

Went for lunch with my husband and mother in law. We had 5 small plates which were all delicious! Especially the dates. We had the Guava Mimosa and Red Sangria, which were both wonderful. We had friendly service, I highly recommend for a casual lunch!

A+ brunch

By Adrianna |

My friends & I came for a Sunday brunch and we were not disappointed. I ordered the avocado tomato omelette with feta and it was delicious. The accompanying home fries were well seasoned and the service was great as well. In addition, the atmosphere was light and classy. The only thing that hindered a 5 star rating was that there wasn’t an option for bottomless mimosas like other restaurants near by. Regardless, a great choice for brunch!!

Nice enough

By Nicola W |

On a really positive note this is a nice place to eat. The staff were really polite and friendly. We had a lovely bottle of white wine and the food was tasty. If I could I'd have given a 3.5...it was so nearly a 4 and with a couple of tweaks I'd have given a 4. One big issue was that our main was served as soon as we had finished our starter..in fact I was still eating my starter when the mains arrived! This meant I could only eat a small amount of my main before I was stuffed, leaving most of it. It also meant I couldn't enjoy my main. Additionally, our wine was never topped up (relates to service for me)....and whilst the food was tasty, it wasn't anything extra special. I'd still recommend it though if you want tasty easy food.

We loved it

By LU39 |

Spent a week in Miami and as LuLu was walking distance we ended going three times. Food and service were brilliant and we can highly recommend it. Given an opportunity we will definitely return for more Ahi Tuna, Meatballs and Burrata!

LOVED IT !!!

By Doug R |

The restaurant across the street is owned by the same company. It was very busy. So we decided to go to Lulu's. The place is loaded with character and atmosphere. As we looked over the vast menu of fun items, we thought something simple would be best. We both ordered the Lulu burger. We didn't edit the burger. We just ordered it medium and let them go to work. We were treated with a side of shoestring fries, perfectly seasoned and crispy. The burger is served on a Brioche bun that was soft and perfect. After the first bite, the burger just melted in our mouths. I've eaten thousands of burgers in my lifetime. This one was as memorable as the day I rode a bike for the first time on two wheels. The burger was simply perfect-- Full of flavor. If we are down there again, we will stop in and try something else. Go eat and prepare to be happy with your decision.

AMAZING

By Pablo R |

The place just got refreshed! Great food, great service. Their version of the French Toast is a must! Recommended 100% 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

Nice Place; Decent Food

By jamesprich |

Have been previously but too recently. Bartender was attentive and provided excellent advice about menu, service (we ate at the bar) and the local chit-chat.

Nice

By Flurry1 |

Had dinner here before noon. Friendly services, nice ambiance. The food is otherwise tasty and plenty of choice. Partner had mac and cheese. Usually this is tasteless but with lulu it is tasty. Can be very busy, is one of the better restaurants in coconut grove.

Excellent casual lunch!

By Thomas |

We dropped in without a reservation and were seated on the terrace. Our attentive and kind waiter (from Peru) gave us good advice and we enjoyed different very tasty salads, burrata, truffles fries. We also had the best espresso ever since arriving in Florida. Overall, a very positive experience - and fair/appropriate prices. Thank you!

Great lunch at Lulu

By John R |

Just had a great lunch at this busy corner spot. I had a perfect grilled salmon salad and my wife enjoyed a large burger. Big portions and great service although the food took a while to come out. Breakfast menu looks really good.

Great service

By Moe |

Our server was Mikey, he gave us outstanding service and an unforgettable experience. He was bilingual and was able to communicate well with my parents in Spanish as well as English. The food is always amazing and overall we had a great experience.

Awesome breakfast experience

By NancySV |

From the moment we arrived, the staff was very welcoming and bent over backwards to meet our needs. They truly worked as a team to insure we had a great experience. The red velvet waffles were perfect (not too sweet but served with icing on the bottom of the plate). The omelette was fluffy, tasty and cooked to perfection. My only criticism would be the espresso drinks weren’t strong enough for my taste but the brewed coffee were great. Located at the intersection of commodore plaza and main hwy in the grove. The sister restaurant across the street “greenstreet” is owned by the same person. Each had outdoor seating. I’m told the difference is waffles for Lulus and pancakes/French toast for Greenstreet Cafe. You choose...you can’t go wrong!

Brunch

By Bruce P |

We had the chicken and waffles. The waffle was good and the chicken was seasoned, but was fried very hard to a crisp. Overall it was a very good visit. Our server Chirs was outstanding with great customer service.

They have the best waffles

By Liz |

They have the best waffles here!!! I ordered the Oreo waffles and it was so good...I recommend any one in the coral gables area to stop here for food or drinks

Exceptional

By alanme44 |

A very nice restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating at the intersection of Main Hwy and Commodore Plaza. Great for people watching and popular with locals though on a Tuesday evening it was a bit subdued. The menu is well rounded offering choices for all tastes. We were a party of three being myself and two friends from out of town here on business. Everything we ordered was delicious with savory flavors and exquisite presentation. The service matched the quality of the food and while attentive was not intrusive. Neighborhood street, garage and valet parking are available. This is a dining location that will definitely stay in my rotation.

Love Lulu's in the Grove

By Catherine M |

My husband and I come to Lulu's several times a year. We love the atmosphere and food. We usually come for dinner. There is metered parking along the streets or public lots nearby as well. I usually make reservations before we come because Lulu's is a popular location in the Grove. This past Saturday we enjoyed a table outside because the weather was pleasant, but we have sat inside as well. Our waiter took our drink order right away and we ordered a few small plates to start with: kobe beef sliders, crunchy tuna tacos, grilled octopus and the goat cheese croquettes. The staff is always very attentive and friendly. We enjoyed our meal and will continue to come to Lulu's when we are in the Grove.

Crunchy green tomatoes

By Bethany W |

Googled fresh fish tacos and lulu came up. Paula was our server and she answered all of our menu questions. Ordered crunchy green tomatoes, fish tacos with a side of baby bok choy. Everything was good with reasonable prices. Large selection of sides with the fish tacos. Relaxing atmosphere. Felt like we were on vacation but were only a few minutes from home. Only wish the appetizer came out before the entree. We both cleaned our plates and will be back for more.

Love it!!!

By withersmegan1 |

Come to Miami every year and one of the places I always visit is Lulus! Absolutely gorgeous Great food great atomosohere and amazing staff! Thank you!!!!

Dinner with the Sisters

By James D |

Great location, tables on the sidewalk, loved the atmosphere, only negative was the smokers on the patio, thought service was friendly and prompt, enjoyed our appetizers & drinks, would definitely return to try other items...

Great lunch on a beautiful day

By Larry B |

Sit outside to enjoy the weather to people watch and admire the never ending parade of exotic cars while waiting for delicious food. Victoria, our server originally from Spain, at my request, chose a dish of rice and seafood that is legendary in Spain. It was the same here in Miami.

A nice brunch vibe

By Anastasia3052018 |

We went for a Saturday brunch. It was hot outside, but we sat in the shade by a very large fan and were quite comfortable. My vegetarian sandwich was delicious - a large portobello mushroom, avocado, greens, etc. on whole grain bread. Just the right size so you could eat it and enjoy it without it spilling out. It came with a side including- bok choy! That too, was delicious. Bowls of water were brought out for those who brought dogs. The waitress was lovely and there when we needed refills on our drinks. A lovely experience. (Not at all fancy, which is why 4, not 5 stars.)

I hated my food

By CulinaryHurricane |

I got the Lulu Benedict and it was the saddest, oldest looking pair of soggy juevos I've ever seen. I was with a birthday party so I didnt want to make a big deal about it so I just ate it, but it sucked. It was with a sad of tomatoes that were wilted. The eggs were SO small that they barely occupied 1/2 of the muffin they were on. The coffee is super weak as well.

Decent Saturday brunch

By Valerie G |

We enjoyed a lovely brunch here a couple of Saturday’s ago while in visiting the area. We’re glad we stopped in. It’s a beautiful space with lots of quirky pieces in the decor. For brunch I enjoyed their smashed avocado toast and my hubby had the fish tacos. We both enjoyed our meals. Everything was lovely and fresh. We would repeat the experience for sure.

Food is great 👍

By ktantonet21 |

Had lunch there, the food was very good and fresh! The waitress- Maria was helpful and nice and we enjoyed the place very much... Only thing is the juice is so tiny! Everything else, perfect 😄

Busy spot, great lunch

By bel1966 |

Had to wait for 40 mins for a table but it was worth it, boys loved their steak , I had chilli drizzled chicken noodle salad, a little hot, but delicious. Great atmosphere and friendly staff, will go back!

Good Place to relax and watch the crowd

By Miamismith305 |

LULU sits opposite to the Greenstreet Café and serves international fare ranging from burgers and Asian-inspired dishes to pasta and seafood. This restaurant’s atmosphere is low key and relaxed, ideal for sharing an evening with friends, wine bottles are reasonably priced and the cocktail selection is broad and creative. We recommend the fried tomatillo (husk tomatoes).

Perfect for a relaxed lunch

By Deluxpinion |

I had been running around doing the art fairs and it was great getting away from it all in the Grove and relaxing sitting outside. I had a great Caesar salad to start, followed pene pesto and we ordered two desserts that were equally delicious: Key Lime Pie and brownie with ice cream

Super friendly staff

By Liam H |

Dropped in for a coffee whilst looking round Coconut Grove. The restaurant was very inviting - we sat outside but the interior appeared very clean with nice decor. We looked at the menu & definitely would have eaten if we were in the area for longer, based on the menu (prices average for the area) & food we saw, whilst the coffee was pleasant as expected. The staff were really friendly and helpful when suggesting places to visit & service was very efficient, we were made to feel very welcome despite just having coffee & water!

A Yummy Breakfast

By BigSkyTripper |

We stopped in on a Sunday about 11 or 12 and got seated after about 15 -20. I had eggs benedict and potatoes, husband had omelet and potatoes, all of which were delicious. Portions were on the small side, prices on par. Service was good.

Outdoor Seating

By Sunshinesoms |

The ambiance and food options are excellent. The prices aren't bad either. We had the fish tacos, wings, guacamole mash and skinny fires among other items. Each item was on point in terms of taste and portion size. Will definitely recommend here and visit again.

Great place & food

By Danny202 |

Went after reading the reviews here, and we were very surprised. Amazing food, and very nice place and modern concept. We had the salmon, amazing. Very good sliders, and the artichoke and spinach dip was perfect. Maybe the tuna tartare was a bit bland, but overall excellent. We will be going back for sure

Very Tasty and Amazing Service

By DonutGoddess |

We stopped at Lulu's for an early dinner. We had the Spinach Artichoke Dip appetizer, the Jambalaya Bowtie Pasta, and the Pork Tacos. All were excellent but what made our meal was our server Danny. He was very friendly, helped me with the menu(food allergies), and made sure our food was just right. We also asked him about the area and he gave us suggestions as well. Nice meal. We will be back.

Meeting with friends

By RandBMiami |

I visited on a threatening and eventually rainy week day afternoon. The indoor/outdoor nature of the restaurant was perfect for enjoying the day as it was. Located on one of the busiest corners in the Grove, if not in all of Miami, it is great for people watching and enjoying the energy of the Grove. Service, food and pricing all good. Nice choice of veggie and vegan dishes in a creative menu. Nice addition to Commodore Plaza which has added several new restaurants recently.

Several visits, all OK!

By edhimal |

We stayed in the area and had lunch and dinner at this place. Always correct service and good quality food. Delicious wines and beers. We came back for a reason....

Good food, good service

By DrivingMama |

We happened upon the restaurant walking around at happy hour - loved it so much we went back the next day for lunch. The food was tasty and fairly priced. Something for everyone without being boring.

Nice little restaurant in a beautiful place

By Pedro Mejia Bernal |

The staff is super nice. The location is really nice. Prices are fair. The flavors and spices in the food are extremely nice. Portions are great. Would recommend, would come back. The only thing I would change is put some more stuff in the menu, we need more options.

Excellent Experience

By Sheika B |

Lulu is fabulous. The food, the food the food is full of flavor and well presented. OMG, the Coconut Marguerite is a must order. If applicable for you. I highly recommend Lulu on Commandor Place.

Extremely unprofessional, waiter very nasty. And most important the manager didn’t even take the time to listen to the r

By Bill J |

Terrible service and terrible food. The only reason I even get business is because Green St., Café is so busy. It’s all the leftovers. Everybody that goes there is the leftover that was in patience to wait for the Green St., Café. That’s the only reason they have business.

They cancelled my reservation

By Steve H |

Cancel your reservation….terrible ethics /manors ,cancelled reservation at last minute no explanation why ..??…avoid

Excellent breakfast option

By latoygib14 |

Had the pesto eggs special and absolutely loved it. There is a lovely terrace and several drink options to choose from. The prices were great and our waiter was the best. Ask for Patrick if ever you eat here. His service was impeccable!

Great Food and more

By joseph b |

Had an amazing meal here. The menu has plenty to choose from and we sampled a lot. Recommend the stuffed dates, tuna tacos and the jambalaya.

Sliders!

By Goldenpenny89 |

Very very nice place. Try the sliders and the Lulu hamburger. Even the french fries are much better than the usual fries. Good cocktails and nice waiter. 20 dollars each for a very nice lunch. Highly recommended.

Unexpected flavors and Great service

By coolgal500 |

We ordered small plates off the brunch menu. grilled Brussels sprouts had great flavor, but a little soggy in soy ginger sauce. Mini tacos and Kobe sliders nice and Tasty. The smoked salmon portion was a larger that expected & melted in my mouth like butter. Great service. Great spot to experience "the Grove" ambiance. Definitely will return and recommend to friends and Fam.

Food always tastes better when you’re sitting outside

By Beth S |

Nice place with an interesting menu of salads, small plates and entrees...sat outside...daughter had jambalaya pasta that had chicken, sausage and shrimp...she liked it...I had a very simple, but good, Caesar salad and the lulu, wings...tasty...friend had the ahi tuna tartare...also good...very friendly service...nice selection of wine by the glass...flan and chocolate mousse for dessert...I’d go back again.

Great food and location

By Lisa O |

I had a great time here. The food (veal meatballs and burger) were great! I don't like that you have to pay $3 for each little bottle of coke. Location and atmosphere is wonderful. I will be back.

Brunch

By Sunvsclouds |

We were in Coconut Grove looking for a brunch place. It was a beautiful, sunny Friday and most places were packed. We were able to get a table at Lulu's quickly and outside which was what we wanted but they do have enough inside seating as well which is nice. Everything was really great; service, atmosphere, food etc. I would definitely go back.

Lovely outside dining, but check the check

By SBams14 |

Had a lovely dinner here at Lulu's out on the terrace. Excellent drinks, food and service. Nice vibe too. However, the experience was definitely tainted when I checked my credit card bill: an extra $9.60 had been added on top of the tip. This is absolutely not done, totally unacceptable. Just home from 2 weeks in the States, ate out every lunch and dinner and many more drinks, coffees, snacks and services paid by credit card, so at least 50 checks. This was the only one which did not match what I have signed for. I would have praised this place but now I will not be returning or recommending.

Disappointing service

By Javier A |

After sitting down, was told the shift and they could not serve any food but appetizers. No other options given. So I stood up and left, of course was charged an overrated $5 lemonade.

Definitely worth a try

By Randie K |

I have not been to Lulu’s in years, but OMG it has changed hands and food is fantastic. The service is wonderful and I highly highly recommend their 50% off appetizers. Drinks are great and you can’t ask for anything better than the atmosphere five stars!

No soap in the bathroom

By Carrie T |

I went to eat at Lulu's earlier this month for lunch. I realize everyone is busy due to the pandemic but not having soap in the bathroom is unacceptable. This was even after I asked our server to notify the manager. How do the servers wash their hands after they use the bathroom.? Plus, they took the bacon wrapped dates and the tacos off the menu. So the only reason you would go there is the outside seating. Not worth it in my opinion.

Lulu's could be so good...

By joschus |

My wife and I went to Lulu's tonight after reading some reviews about the restaurant. Of course we had some positive expectations but sadly, both our dinners left a lot to be desired. Our waiter, Jonathon, was terrific. Very friendly and was attentive and service was outstanding. The food, not good at all, and we are not ones to complain. I ordered the Lulu's burger and it was so overcooked and dry that I had to drink water just to get it down. How hard is it to cook a burger medium if you are a chef/cook at an upscale restaurant? To overcook it way past well done is just sloppy cooking. My wife ordered the salmon in cream sauce. She ate it in spite of the fact that it was so salty it was almost inedible. Again, how can a chef/cook add so much salt that a customer can't eat it?! Two simple dishes that one can make at home. My suggestion is that the owner of this restaurant either try the food now and then or get a new cook. We won't be going back after this meal but will try the place across the street. What a shame.

Great Decor and Food

By Andrea S |

Great ambiance, children and dog friendly. Food was delicious and great portions (not over sized). The ocotopus and veggie sandwhich were amazing.

Another great restaurant in Coconut Grove

By Larry T |

We're trying as many restaurants as possible during our stay in Coconut Grove and this place was not disappointing. The drinks good and food quite tasty. A diverse menu appealing to any taste buds. And like other local restaurants, one can eat on the street as it were thanks to the mild December temperatures.

Relaxed atomosphere

By Haba8 |

Lulu's location is nice with relaxed atmosphere. We had the caramellized chicken wings for starters, which were superb. The lulu's burger was a bit overdone, but the jalapeno mashed potatoes was something unique and special, and delicious! Our waiter was Danny Pino, who provided us with excellent service with speed and friendliness.

Grad night

By raebct t |

We went as a family of 6. Were seated and greeted professionally. Our meal was diverse and seated overlooking the vibrant streets of Coral Gables. The meal was a delight. I would tell all my friends to not miss going to have a meal to remember.

Friendly, delicious food in the Grove

By CaraMHutchins |

This place is the real deal. Not only does it have a great location and decor but the food and service are top notch! Make sure to have the skinny truffle fries. They're outstanding.

Brunchin

By YourHelpfulWendy |

I went for brunch this past Sunday and I liked: Their amazing Oreos waffles so much!!! I actually dedicate this 3 stars to that. So moist, fluffy, and with the right amount of oreo. I didn't feel it was too sweet. The service was good too, but I didn't' like at all the benedicts, we tried 2 of the ones they have on the menu and they were ok, the bread was not as I'm used to, and the presentation was not what I expected either. Overall, was a good experience at a very nice place.

Great food

By jane o |

We were in Coconut Grove for a wedding and ate here Sunday afternoon . Great atmosphere , food was delicious and fun people watching. I would love to come back to the area and walk around downtown more. Was very lively with lots of cute shops and restaurants.

Catching Up

By Jill B |

Met a friend for drinks and dinner at happy hour. Cocktails and appetizers were delicious, as well as dinner. Service was outstanding.

Sister restaurant better

By ColS2 |

Had tuna tartare and lulu buger. The crutons in the tuna were really greasy and the sauce was weird. The burgers were really good. Waitress pretty inexperienced. Not very lively.

Great food & service

By kriswalk |

Our waiter, Michael Andres, was great! He was very efficient and friendly. He recommended drinks and appetizers. The food was great!

This one is a keeper!

By Claire M |

A friend had recommended Lulu and it's very popular - especially with the art festival - so we had a wait of about 45 minutes and sat on the brick wall and watched the people stroll by! Then we asked a waiter if we could order some drinks while we waited for our table and that wasn't a problem. It turned out the waiter was Robert and we moved three feet over to our table and he continued to take excellent care of us- he was friendly, efficient and had a great sense of humor. We started the tuna tacos and Brussel sprouts and both were terrific. I had the smashed avocado with feta and a poached egg on mushroom covered seeded bread and it was delicious (bacon would have been a lovely addition!). The Lulu and turkey burgers also got great reviews. Have to remember this place for next year!

Good at best

By Memphis Hotel Guy |

Nice upbeat decor at this pedestrian friendly spot. Beer was not quite cold and burger was smaller than it could have been for the bun. Overall - average

Sunday lunch in the Grove

By Maria Q |

We were pleased with the quality of the food at Lulu’s. In particular we recommend the bacon rapped dates with manchego cheese. However we had some problems with the service. Our waiter kept disappearing, it took a long time to get a drink, the draft beer was not cold enough, they don’t serve ice water unless you request the ice. In Miami if the beer is not ice cold, it’s not worth drinking. Not sure when we’ll return.

Everything was Fantastic!

By alohare |

Came here for lunch in a weekday with my fiancé, seeking the perfect Bloody Mary. We found it! Not only that, but Lashawn, our waitress was very knowledgeable and helpful with gluten free options for him and everything we ordered was fantastic. Fish tacos and Caesar salad with perfectly prepared salmon. We will definitely be back.

Wonderful spot

By Alex R |

This small restaurant and bar has one of the nicest atmospheres and decor that I have been to. I really enjoyed the churrasco and the service was fast and polite.

Dinner in Coconut Grove

By Copleton |

An absolute vegetarians DREAM. U must go! The roasted Brussels in a sweet soy dressing were heavenly as was the homemade rosemary humus. We stumbled across this place by chance and will most certainly become a regular stop when in Miami. The service is quick, friendly and very welcoming, the setting is quaint, boutiques line the surrounding little streets, so you can combine some fashion/home retail therapy with a brunch or finish your days shops with a few cocktails and dinner. During happy hour Rey have a few dishes on the menu for $5. Highly highly highly recommend

Great Atmosphere

By jterrillsocialmedia |

My parents were in town and we decided to try Lulu's for dinner. What a nice surprise that I knew the manager, Maria! She welcomed us and we had a great dinner. The food was fantastic. It was so good we came back for breakfast the next morning :) I highly recommend this spot.

Outdoor dining at its best

By Louise B |

The friendly, attentive staff and inventive-plus-delicious menu combined to make this a excellent experience. Seafood specialties, small plates were perfect.

Always sub asparagus for fries!

By ToTellTheTruthHonest |

Coolest bartender! Food is always consistent, and the ambiance is a bit upscale compared to the hungover brunch crowd at Greenstreet!

Different and delicious

By Rod G |

Very intersting experience, you choose the flavor and they prepar in front of you. It is a little bit expensive (7 dolars), but it is worth.

Great Location, Great Establishment

By SenoritaBlackBarbie |

This restaurant was right by the corner and it was very hip and down to earth. The waiter was awesome. He looks like a you Kid from Kid and Play, but seriously he was super polite and very knowledgeable. I must say, he is definitely an asset to this restaurant. The food options were great. Loved the variations. The food tasted delicious. The dessert on the other hand needs some work. Great cocktails as well. The inside of the restaurant was was very unique as far as the architecture is concerned. The rest rooms were also unique and very clean. If you're in the grove area, you should definitely check this place out!

Amazing Small Plates and Atmosphere

By Diana G |

Lulu's is in a perfect location in Coconut Grove (right across from the Cloisters) with tables inside and outside. We ordered several small plates, the corn chowder, crispy green tomatoes, chicken wings and meatballs and everything was outstanding. It is a really cool smaller restaurant and the atmosphere is relaxing. I can't wait for my next trip to the area so I can go back.

Drinks on a sunny day

By C72DM |

We only stopped into Lulu for a few drinks while walking through Coconut Grove, but very much enjoyed it. The service was great. The location is perfect. We would love to have a chance to taste the food next time as everything looked great.

Good for a quick lunch

By Diane W |

I grabbed a quick lunch here on a recent trip to the area. The Asian Chicken Salad was very good. Service was acceptable. Lots of outdoor seating.

Great Food - Great Server Zach

By budfox_wallstreet |

We ate there this past weekend because it was a short walk from the Ritz where we were staying. We sat on the couches outside and had an excellent lunch with truly great service. Its a great place to people watch. Zach asked our names and despite being incredibly busy remembered them and used them throughout service.

Disappointed

By exclusivebyvv |

A weekly brunch choice was very disappointing in this option. Lulu's was not at all what we thought as a Saturday Brunch outing. Extremely hot inside, loud kids, messy entrance to the eyes of a customer. On top of tho expensive menu! Unfortunately my invite to my family and a tourist guest not good!

Nice dinner

By Aaron |

Had a nice dinner here. It was not too busy on a Wednesday night and the weather was perfect to sit outside and enjoy some people watching.

Delicious Food and Great Service

By Roadtripist |

For years, we've walked and driven past this restaurant and never really made an effort to eat there because, whenever we were around there, it was always full. For my husband's birthday, I chose this restaurant and I am so glad I did. The restaurant is gorgeous inside, but we chose to sit outside since the weather was perfect. The food was, absolutely, delicious. Their chicken wings were SO good! The best we've had to date. Patrick was very professional and on top of things. We never had to signal for him to come for anything as he passed by a few times to make sure everything was good. We appreciated that more than one employee would help out. There was one server, Reggie, who I just had to walk up to before we left because he was very pleasant and always had a big smile on his face. I think Reggie deserves a big mention here. A genuine smile can definitely go a long way. :)

Will Return

By David M |

Visited here about a month ago. Great atmosphere, and good service. The grilled Brussel Sprouts were amazing, as was my Salmon entree which clearly was fresh, and perfectly cooked. My dinner companion was not as enthusiastic about her pasta dish, however, but also agreed that the overall experience guarantees return visits. The patio dining area seemed a bit noisy so we sat inside which was perfect. The server was enthusiastic and well versed on the menu and wine options.

The best of the best!

By jcmartinez777 |

This place surprise me... the design is unique... the staff is attentive, the food is amazing... the entrees the main dishes and the salad, I went 3 days in a row.... if you are around, go and try the burger and the fry tomatoes!!!

Labor Day lunch

By Cindy J |

First time visit based on recommendation from family that live in area. The best spinach artichoke dip I have ever tasted, easily eaten without chips! I have always been afraid to try smoked salmon but shared it with someone else...it was fabulous! So good that I bought some at the local grocer to try as soon as I got home! So glad I got to try this place before the hurricane!! Wish I could have tried other things! Will be back if possible!

Lovely restaurant

By JasmineH98 |

My friend and I had our last evening in Miami at Lulu's and we loved it. The food was amazing, especially the Chocolate Mousse as dessert. Also the people were really friendly and the service was good. We had a great time!

Fantastic!

By ANN B |

This was excellent! I couldn't chose what to get and it was no problem to get 2 starters instead of 1 main course and have it all served together with my friend's food! The food was just delicious and the waiter was very friendly and gorgeous :-) The restaurant is decorated with some old memorabilia, even in the toilet which was quite entertaining. Well done guys! I would definitely recommend you and if I'm in the neighbourhodd, I will be back!

Great food and location in Coconut Grove

By LTUCD |

We had a great meal here. The restaurant is relaxing and inviting. The service was truly excellent and the the food terrific. We chose to sit inside to cool off but the outdoor seating area looked very nice.

Birthday Brunch at Lulu

By Aminadaze |

What a great way for a lokal to start my birthday. The omelets were delicious, they were accommodating & switched the papas for tomatoes. Hot soft bread and the brunch cocktail selection was really good. Try the Passion & Spicy with Mezcal. Feeling great :) The bar staff was so welcoming - we didn't want to wait for a table and glad we didn't. The door was open so the breezes came through. Beautiful Beautiful spot. Co.midore at Main Hwy. Ciao

Awful service

By Michele W |

We have liked this restaurant in the past and selected it for my son’s birthday celebration with 11 people and they have been impossible to reach. their voicemail is full. For weeks. They don’t reply to emails or OpenTable messages and they abruptly canceled our reservation!!! and I just want to say don’t go here. There is no customer service.

Sorry LuLu not good

By Michael T |

Very long walk to LuLu’s and when we got there we found service good to fair. We all ordered eggs Benedict which was poor. It was very dry and the English muffin was mushy. We also ordered a side of toast which was toasted on one side only. Better choice across the street.

Stay away

By Tim T |

Service was terrible. Never saw the server. Drinks took over an hour to get. Food is mediocre at best. Go somewhere else.

Lively with great food

By Lizz H |

In town for an overnight layover and this was the perfect spot for dinner. They have outdoor, indoor, and bar seating. Sat at the bar with the wonderful bartender Nicole. I highly recommend the bacon wrapped dates, they were amazing. The fish tacos were perfectly cooked as well. Topped it all off with a "coconut grove", a mojito with grilled pineapple. All the drinks looked great. I don't think you can go wrong.

Disappointing Lulus

By Esther I |

We went to Greenstreet but there was a 30 minute wait and decided To give Lulus a try, big mistake. We were seated inside, our waiter was Out to lunch, I guess he was sleepy, all the time leaning in the wall to take Our order. The coffee terrible. We ordered an extra toasted bagel, we Had to return it and wait 20 minutes. The fresh orange juice was good. What a disappointment.

Lovely food, wine a bit pricey

By debandhim |

Coconut Grove is so pretty and full of restaurants. Saw Lulu on trip advisor. Filet Mignon was superb and fries were voted best of holidays by my kids. Scallops highly recommended too. Reasonably priced although wine pricy, Pinot Grigot $9 glass... seems same all over the grove to be fair.

Nice food - bad service

By Dandjah |

Weekends are brunch menu until a certain hour (5pm I believe). A lot of small dishes but the place is trendy so it’s fine - that’s the rule. We sat on the inner side on a sofa behind a column. No one saw us for some time. The service? Slow, arrogant, no smiles and only direct answers. The waiter was BAD. The guy that brought the dishes and picked them up was WAY BETTER than the waiter - he knew what to recommend, how dishes were done - promote this guy!

Great Breakfast

By JudyF99 |

There was an item called 125 calorie green omelet. I hardly thought that could be true since 1 egg has 70 calories. It was made out of egg whites so perhaps it was true. I modified it to use whole eggs. It was surprisingly, very yummy and healthy. I would definitely order it again. My husband had the pesto omelet and was disappointed. The other 3 in our party really enjoyed their meals. They also serve whole wheat waffles which is quite unusual.

Perfect Tapas and People Watching

By Elizabeth R |

I absolutely love The Grove and on one of my last tripsndiscovered the Gem that is Lulu. It has the same owners as Green Street restaurant which is just across the street. Green Street is a Coconut Grove institution so you know Lulu must be good. Lulu is the perfect spot for people watching. The prices are reasonable. You can share a few small tapas style plates or you can have entrees. They have a great wine selection. This will now become a permanent fixture on my future trips to Miami.

Lulu is a top rate restaurant!

By Reed |

Lulu wasn't our first choice, we had first attempted to go to a french restaurant down the block where the atmosphere wasn't welcoming and the prices were sky high. I remembered seeing this place as we drove by, noticed it had great reviews and thought we would give it a try. What a happy coincidence! The vibe is artsy and perfect for Coconut Grove. The AC wasn't as cool as we would have preferred it to be, but that is really the only nit pick of the whole visit. The seater wanted to know where *we* wanted to sit out of the available seats- what a HUGE change from most restaurants today and felt very welcoming. You could tell our server wasn't that experienced but his great demeanor and friendly smile made up for that. The food was phenomenal! The fried green tomatoes, the wings and the hummus apps were all delicious and some of the best we have had of those items. Turkey burger, veggie pasta, mac and cheese were all amazing entrees. This place was really a surprise hit for us and I can't wait to go back!

Interesting Concept

By Matt |

After trying several other restaurants in the area to my stomachs demise, the restaurant Lulu was recommended to me. I ordered quite a few things off the menu because almost everything sounded good to me and I'm quite the picky eater. Pros: Good location Wonderful atmosphere Delivery options available Quality food Neutral: Fair prices for the area Portion sizes could be adjusted - Kobe Beef sliders could use a +1 for example Cons: None to mention I would recommend any of the following food options Skinny Truffle Fries Goat Cheese Croquettes Kobe Beef Sliders Turkey Burger Jalapeno Mashed Potatoes

Fun place in Coconut Grove

By dukestravels |

Really fun spot in Coconut Grove. Friendly atmosphere and a menu that will make everyone happy. The shrimp Rose Linguini and the Fettuccine Bolognese were both fantastic.

Great food

This place was recommended to us by locals We could not chose there were so many options we wanted to try (so we went back the next day) Good service Easy parking around

Nice Place

By Jose S |

Place was nice so was the ambiance. They have a full bar. Food was not bad at all. Seating out side with limited seating inside

Great Happy Hour

By paulgrindrod |

Visited this restaurant a few times for Happy Hour drinks and snacks. Lovely food and drinks at very reasonable prices. Excellent service. Great place to sit and watch the world go by.

Fine outdoor dining

By Philipp M |

Nice place in Coconut Grove with tasty dishes, delicious drinks and attentive service. Certainly a good choice in this area, where the choice of restaurants is not huge.

Perfect for a multi-generational family dinner

By Beth Z |

Perfect, easy location for our family who was visiting from out of town and staying in Coconut Grove, as well as for my husband's father, who is local. We met up at the restaurant and had a pleasant, not-at-all rushed dinner on a Saturday evening. We were on the earlier end of dinner, and by the time we were leaving, things were getting busy. The server took his time to get correct answers to our questions (even if he had to go ask), which I appreciate much more than being given false info, and the appetizers and entrees were all great. Highlights included the stuffed dates, hamburgers/shoestring fries (kids), and my grilled chicken salad. It was tough to decide what to order, so I think we'll head back again the next time we visit Miami!

Brunch

By Wombling_Free_7548 |

We enjoyed the people watching whilst sat outside. Brunch was ok, felt very overpriced. We wouldn’t rush back, there must be better options.

Overrated

By Maria W |

We went for brunch, a group of 6. It took forever to get drinks and appetizers and much longer for the food. When it finally arrived, my omelet and the bread were cold and other diners' plates were really small and lacking (the Lulu benedict was tiny and had only small slivers of chorizo). A small piece of baguette was extra and $5, the check far higher than the food and service we received. The server was nice but rushed and very overworked. It was also very hot inside the restaurant, unbearable at the end. The atmosphere is nice and it´s the grove, but we won't be back.

Great Evening Diner Outside on the Sidewalk

By Gimmy1040 |

The weather set the scene by being perfect on a Friday evening. Following that was good service and excellent food. The only complaints are the place was pretty busy slowing things down a bit and the bathrooms are upstairs. No big deal though because everything else was very good so it gets 4 stars.

Great Grub In The Grove

By Wendy C |

What a fun night out with my daughter and friend visiting from Las Vegas! We had a fantastic time at this casually chic sidewalk cafe with wonderful tapas, pastas and exotic drinks. Our server was awesome, and the vibe was festive. They take reservations which was a huge advantage for a busy Friday night. We will definitely be back!

Another Good Breakfast

By bruce s |

Four of us enjoyed a late breakfast here. We were seated quickly. Two ordered waffle with bacon and two had nova benedict. All dishes were enjoyable. Service was good and prices reasonable.

Good experience

By OReilly39 |

Stopped here for a burger after a movie in Coconut Grove. Sat on the outside which was a quaint experience. The service was good, though not overly attentive. The burger was actually quite good. I would say above average. All in all a good, though not great experience.

Second visit

By Erik |

Two time visitor and will come back for a third time when in the area. Both times were lunch and both times the food and service was commendable

Always a good Sunday brunch

By W. Jeffrey |

Good food in a nice atmosphere. Never feels rushed, central location. good service. More importantly it is consistent.

Great in the grove

By gordy1210 |

Great food in a great place; relaxed place to spend some time enjoying the food and drink and watch the world go by. There is a great range of small plates to work your way through.

Delightful restaurant, delicious food

By Javier G |

Lulu is a neighborhood gem. Beautiful patio, always vibrant, great service and delicious food that's consistently great. This time I ordered a jambalaya pasta that comes with shrimp, chicken and sausage, very rich yet balanced flavor. In the past I had tried the sliders and the burger and they are amazing. The service is great. Nice place to watch people. Very positive vibe.

Food Restoring Our Soul

By Virginia Wilson Brannon |

We had a family gathering after a funeral at Lulu’s. I’m embarrassed that I didn’t take pictures of our food because it was truly superb! Mike was our server and amplified our experience with attentive service without being overbearing. We ordered almost every appetizer on the menu and a double order of lamb ribs and stuffed dates! Outstanding!!! A few ordered Churrasco which we continued to share and the pistachio pasta. The vegetable side dishes were beautifully prepared and the bok Choy was loved by all. Being total gluttons, we ordered Tres Leches and Chicago Mousse but only had a spoonful to share. Highly recommend these whimsical dishes in a cozy place. Thank you for a delightful evening after a much needed evening of diversion.

Attentively trying to win us over

By Rick R |

From the concept of neighborfood to stylish decor to menu descriptions it's obvious this restaurant is trying to win us over with well thought out concept. The staff was friendly interested and attentive. We had lunch and the food was good but not wow. Kobe sliders seemed not so Kobe on day old buns. Fish taco was fresh. Was hoping for breakfast but remember they only do breakfast on weekends. Give it a try for a causal meal but don't expect wow for food just good.

Real Gem!

By LucyADE27 |

Great service, delicious food with large portions. Just what we needed after our early transfer and for our last night in Miami. You were by far the superior of the five eatery venues we visited. You were really helpful too. The only thing that let you down was the lack of fresh cold drinks available. Otherwise you’d have nailed the five stars.

Great location, super friendly staff, great atmosphere

By EAS2019 |

We stayed in Coconut Grove in March for 7 days and frequented Lulu just about everyday for brunch, lunch and dinner throughout our stay. The lulu chicken wings are very very delicious and are just enough of a portion. The maple syrup is a great touch.. anyhow I would recommend Lulu especiallly for brunch, chicken and waffles.. fair prices and great staff..

Great food with lovely ambiance

By Dagmar |

As Europeans we felt very much at home here. Absolutely great quality food, lovely menu and an amazing ambiance. We ate here twice in one week and thoroughly enjoyed the fact that you can sit outside, order multiple dishes for sharing and the really attentive, pleasant and professional staff.

Excellent quality food

By Noradicha |

Menu with not too many options but everything we ordered was excellent, my scallops over local corn were fresh and very well prepared as well as my husbands hamburger. The place is very nice with tables inside and outside under a canopy of trees.

Fresh & tasty

By lovestotravel013 |

We enjoyed a lovely al fresco lunch here. Great cocktail & wine list. The truffle fries were crisp and delicious! The Kale Caesar with Grilled Chicken was excellent. Very fresh. The Asian Chicken salad was equally pleasing. Service was friendly and efficient. Next time we're in town, we'll definitely give this another try!

Great spot for lunch

By Kasienka_12 |

Everything we have ordered was tasting really good. We’ve tried several small plates. Waiting time was very short

Dinner

By janneramstedt |

Nice cosy place. I took the Luluburger with a draft Belgian white beer. I liked it a lot. My wife and daughter had shrimp tacos and they both thougt the soft shells to the dish didn't taste good. The staff were polite and effective. Actually a "good feeling place" BR JR of Sweden

Grab Little Cafe.

We recently stopped off for a quick bite to eat. The staff were quick, friendly and professional. We saw the menu a decided to have a few small plates of food. Very tasty indeed. Inside the venue it cool a funky. All in all an enjoyable experience.

Saturday Brunch

By TropicalLover |

We were new to Coconut Grove and walking around town when we came upon LuLu. It was noon, and they were serving a brunch menu which had a good selection of breakfast and lunch items. The place was hopping busy inside and outside, so we figured it was popular with locals. We opted to share the Kobe sliders and truffle fries. The sliders were cooked to perfection a d the onion jam was awesome. The fries were excellent, too. Dawn many great looking breakfast plates go by and would like to go back and try some. Good service, a bit crowded together in outside seating, but definitely a great place to go in the Grove!

Done with Lulu

By Dan |

Dont….Manager on the phone yelling about her rent check. She throws menus and plates on the bar where we were sitting. Then she was on her cell phone while plates sit under the hot lamps waiting to be served including our truffle fries which arrived cold. Other Food was ok. Chicken citrus salad was great. Greek salad should be an appetizer. Cocktails ($18 margarita and a ‘burro’ ) were terrible. Sad. We ‘ve been going to Lulu’s for 12 years and it only seems to get worse. Wont be going back until the owners retire.

Breakfast place

By lacibeles_77 |

We always have Breakfast outside on Sunday, we choose Lulu's it was ok. we might give it a second change. they have a great menu with gourmet options. they kitchen made a mistake on my order but it will be worth to go back again.

Great Way To End A day

By OldDukeDoc |

We walked by and the outdoor seating and menu looked inviting, so why not. The restaurant is on a corner spot in a very pedestrian area of Coconut Grove. The server was prompt, courteous, and very helpful. Drinks were good and wine pours were generous. Chicken wing appetizer was excellent if you like them spicy. Caesar salad would have been better with anchovies. Pasta Alfredo was excellent. The Nutella Bread Pudding was a surprise treat. We spent a couple of hours drinking, eating, and enjoying the ambiance. There was no pressure to turn the table. We'll come back

Best fish tacos ever

By Time2travel2places |

Great spot to sit outside on a corner and watch the people go by (unless you are with a date of course) and enjoy super food. I had small plates of the octopus, which was tender and tasty, and the mahi tacos. The tacos were the best I have had. The tacos were small with small cubes of fish prepared tartare, with a wonderful aioli and set on exquisite guacamole.

Good cocktails

By Robyn D |

We went here twice in one day at the weekend for drinks. The day time service and cocktails were fab, we sat at the bar and the lady serving us was fantastic. In the evening we sat outside, again just for cocktails. We had a male server this time and whilst he was pleasant he seemed more interested in chatting up the host who seats people. We only had 3 drinks each and as the service wasn’t great we only tipped $3 as it rounded our bill up. Before we left I went up to the toilet and I heard the waiter who clearly did not know I was in the building saying “he tipped me $3” and that’s all I could hear as I went in through the side door and straight up the stairs. This made us feel awkward and we feel it was extremely unprofessional and unappreciated, tipping is optional and if we don’t receive the service for an outstanding tip, we will not give an outstanding tip. We had planned to return to Lulu the following day as we had a voucher which we did not use… safe to say we did not return. The drinks and atmosphere is good but on this second occasion the service let us down.

Miami standards

By Jamie S |

Reasonably varied menu of all the usual Miami standards. Well presented salads, burgers, seafood, pastas, steak. Nice food, friendly service, always busy so good atmosphere. Prices as high as normal for Miami. Portions on the small « nouvelle cuisine » side. Don’t expect to leave with a doggy bag!

Nice place for brunch

By Robert B |

Lots of good choices for omelettes as well as different takes on Eggs Benedict. Potatoes were very tasty!
