We had breakfast here daily. Cheap and delicious. Across the road from our hotel so nice and close.Would recommend to any one wanting a good cheap meal. The portions are huge and we often found we didn't need lunch.

We walked here after "Kinky Boots". The food looked just too good to walk past. We both had pizza; it is as hot and quick and good. A very eclectic eatery.

Fantastic fresh pizza and pasta must be ordered at this restaurant. We searched for an hour looking for somewhere to eat well priced and with a menu to suit my 5 year old. He had the spaghetti while we had pizza. The pizza was to die for as it was fresh fresh vegetables and not overcooked mushy ones. They were like we had prepared the pizza at home ourselves. You MUST eat here if you want a great meal for the whole family. Well done and thumbs up.

Was still open late at 1am. Good seating. Big place with lots of food options. Cheese pizza was good. Friendly staff.

Great place for a quick cheap eat. The pizza was fantastic, lots of choice and delicious. If you're heading down 8th or crossing on 44th or 45th and a bit peckish, definitely worth a try.

Nothing special. Employees didn't really care. Food was average. If you want pizza I suggest you find a different place to eat.

Amazing Best pizza I have had in New York Massive selection reasonably priced and staff are very friendly and helpful Open very late and it is always nice to grab on your way back to hotel after a long day sightseeing

Ehh, the pizza here was decidedly average. I’ve attached a pic- it just looked and tasted bog standard to be honest. We probably should have just walked a bit further to Joe’s Pizza.

Delicious! We hit Mamas for dessert. We purchased a slice of plain New York Cheesecake, a chocolate dipped cannoli and an almond toffee wrapped cannoli. Every piece was intensely fresh and flavorful! Thank you Mamas for the yummy end to our night, having bananas for sale for our morning and helping us to remember the forks!

We stopped for an early lunch before going to see Kinky Boots (right around the corner) and were both very happy with our selections. We couldn’t decide what we wanted so we split a meatball sub and a chicken parm sub. Both were really, very good. Prices were reasonable. Portions were big. Definitely recommend!

We popped in here as it’s close to the hotel and hop on hop off bus. We just wanted a quick breakfast and this place delivered. Egg cheese and sausage sandwiches all round washed down with good hot coffee. Sandwiches were hot fresh and tasty. Price good value for this are. Overall a great spot

Stopped in and surprised how good the pizza is! The sauce is good and the crust is great! Cost about 12 dollars for 2 pieces of pepperoni and one bottle of tea. Over all highly recommended!

Largs slices, reasonably priced and convenient to the Theater District. You will have to ask for plain slices, though, as they keep them below the counter to encourage you to buy the higher priced slices they have displayed. Still, $2.95 for a large slice in midtown is great. Plenty of seating usually and fast though not friendly service.

The pizza slices are huge, the base crispy and the brownies delicious. We wandered in here looking for a good slice of pizza and we definitely found it!

This was place was great and convenient for us as it was opposite our hotel. We popped in every morning for our coffee. They do a large range of breakfasts and great pastries / cakes. Came back once in the evening for a slice of pizza and that was great aswell. Large range of pizzas to chose from.

AN Italian-looking place, but not really that Italian. There were other buffet items to choose from. You order at the counter, then take it to a table and eat with plastic cutlery. I chose chicken with a rice mix. It included a salad. The chicken was extremely tender & tasty,; it fell right off the bone, The rice and salad were satisfying. Coffee was very good, better than the donut I chose for dessert, The meal was adequate, but not worth the $18+ price for what it was. I could have had a sit-down pasta dinner at a nearby favorite Italian restaurant.

This was a life saver! Going to a Broadway show, and realizing that the last meal was too long ago, I spotted Mama's Pizza for a quick Life saving slice of pizza with a drink. I felt it was a bit pricey, but at the end it was worth it. Atmosphere was ok, tables not too clean.

do not be shy about getting breakfast, it is fast and delicious, with a great selection and the people are very polite

I have been there with my wife . We like pizza of of Mama's Pizza which was so delicious. I loved the place around and service what they have provide to us.

There was half an hour left to close and he didn't want to serve us a coffee and he excused us too much to serve us pizza…terrible attention.

We found this small place our first night in Manhattan and kept coming back! Breakfast served all day for less than $10.00. Huge pizza slices, past, chicken, salads, and sandwiches. Plus all the yummy New York type desserts. Great place to visit if you’re looking for quick, delicious and reasonably priced meals.

Great place to eat and does a proper cup of tea and my friend who I travelled with said coffee was good too. Staff welcoming would recommend for a bite to eat

Stopped in here by chance on the way to a Broadway show. Had 3 large slices of 2 different pizzas albetween us, Thoroughly enjoyed our first meal in New York, so much so that we came back after the show for dessert!!! Fruit tart was great. We hope to return.

We went there few times as we got what we wanted for good price and even though it is just buffet the staff who served us was polite and experienced and knew what they were doing. Great bagel with eggs and bacon and pizzas for great price

This restaurant was near our hotel so thought we would give it a try. On both occasions we ordered a large pizza for around $40 (with drinks). It was more than enough for two adults, teen and child. We sat in and carried out on a different night. On both occasions food was good. Staff pleasant, pizza ready to go, or freshly made if ordering full pizza. Would eat here again.

My girlfriend and I spent a few days in New York and went to mamas each morning for breakfast. The staff were nice especially the chap on the register. Food was good. Definitely recommend it to anyone!

The pizza slices are huge, Staff go over and above to help you. we tried other places but they weren't a patch on this place.

Each time I have visited NYC, I have gotten pizza here. There are lots of different pizza slices to choose from, and each slice that I have had was delicious! The crust is thin and crisp! The toppings are fresh and plentiful! You can't go wrong at this restaurant. It has other menu items too... salads, desserts, and even wonderful breakfast items. Look for the awning outside, and know that it shares the space with Nathans, Church's, and Subway. There is something for everyone when you enter, BUT pick Mama's Pizza for a delicious experience! It is your very best choice!

Anything you could want is available here and its all pretty darn good. Pizza by the slice but all fresh. Nice large hamburger and a mountain of piping hot fries. Friendly counter service. Fair prices. Every conceivable food tupe offered.

Was staying at the Intercontinental which was right across the street so we thought we'd try it for breakfast one morning. Pancakes were as thin as they come, but the eggs and turkey sausage were okay. Problem was that I was still hungry when I finished and I'm not a big eater. A bowl of cereal would have been more filling!

Found this place on our first morning in NY and went back for breakfast each morning, fab bagels ,pancakes and waffles with lovely fresh fruit. Staff are so friendly and helpful well worth a visit for tasty fast friendly service with a good price also

Very friendly and helpful staff, even though the place is hectically busy at times. The breakfast bagels are the best. Try one with bacon, egg, cream cheese and jalapeños. Chicken as a bagel option was also good. Massive pizza slices are available, a meal in itself. Enormous hamburgers too 😊. You won’t go hungry with these portions, and all at an affordable price. Plenty of space to sit and eat your meal. Only downside was the restrooms were dirty and in desperate need of maintenance.

Great tasting food. Great prices! Great selection. Great desserts. We will have to eat here again before we leave to go back home. I highly recommend this restaurant, especially if you are hungry!

One of my goals for visiting NYC was to get some awesome New York pizza. I tried 4-5 different places, but this is definitely the best! I have had pizza all over the world, including Italy, this is as close to Italy as I have had. Prices are very reasonable.

Wife and I stayed cross the street at the Row and we ended up stopping in a couple times during our stay. Slice of pizza, bagel/cream cheese, Greek salad, pastry. All good, all affordable and made right in front of you. Employees friendly and efficient.

First time in NYC for Xmas and 1st visit here. We walked in here just on a whim as we wanted some authentic NY pizza for dinner. First impression everything looks amazing but we had our hearts set on pizza. You can pick already made by the slice or create your own. We order a large pep and sausage pizza and drinks, I dont know what size it is but it was huge. There were 5 adults and a teen in our group and we were all satisfied and full. As we ate just pizza and noticed what others were ordering we realized that another trip here may be needed as everything looks so good. The pizza was everything we expected and then some. Where we live in Ohio we have primarily big chain pizza places and there is absolutely positively no comparison and this was hands down better than any pizza we have ever had back home....We visit NYC sometimes twice a year and this will be our go to spot everytime we visit

Directly opposite our hotel, the Milford Plaza,we loved this diner!We ate breakfast here EVERY day - a bargain at $23 for three adults on average which set us up for the day! We also ate some lunches here and evening meals.The vegetarian calzone was perfect!I loved them! Don't miss this treat when in NewYork!

We attended twice in a week for tea. Service first class. We had pasta on both occasions and the flavor, freshness and the service was exceptional. The price is high on drinks.

Had great food here at good prices. Had a stromboli for the first time - really enjoyed. Went back in the morning for breakfast. pancakes and fruit with maple syrup - just got to be done! Love to go back

OK, So I know ITALIANS FROM ITALY, that leave skidmarks when the hear about Mammas Pizza, it is Not top choice! WHY? DECOR-Check-Stunning SERVICE-Check-Really Good FOOD-Salt,Salt,SALTY?? if you have high blood pressure and WANT to commit suicide This is definately your joint! Numerous times, have I gone in and ordered, anything from an appetiser, to a main course to a couple of slices of pizza, without experiencing the all to well known (Spike) One gets when eating a supposed side dish (which should be "the meal") and having the MAIN COURSE BE SALT!! Thats what everything taste like! Dont get me wrong, I am not speaking about a " too salty dish" which can happen. I am talking about, an absolute onslaught to the tastebuds of your mouth, with any reminants of Your actual MEAL NUMBED OUT! What baffles me here is why they dont bother to care??? After being told on numerous occassions about all thier Salt crimes!! Heres the thing, 1-its a Simple fix! 2- Please CARE because NOW u have some pretty steep competition in neighboring towns! 3- It DOES MATTER because, its no longer the 80s or 90s and NOW CRANKS like me, can leave reviews such as this! Bottom line, People are now so overly health conscious due to the climate, that its time to no longer use salt as a "spice" which it really isnt! and more as a (choice) for the customer to add if they so choose! IDEAS?, have a low sodium health conscious menu, (U will double your business, and LOWER THE OVERALL DANG SALT COUNT!) for starters, and we are good 2 go! Kisses

Like a food court, lots of different styles of food. Liked the pizza slices, good cup of tea also, good prices.

Stayed here for dinner one night. Got 2 nice slices of pizza. Was that nice I went back for more! Great choice here for a cheap eat. Clean and family friendly.

I used to come here to get the best Dessert ever made , well they switched the pudding to whipped cream. Very sad day!!!

We had pastries and OJ. They were very good. Staff was not overly friendly, and our table was wobbly. It was a good in-and-out spot for breakfast on our walk to Central Park.

They get it here, your in NYC and you wanna sit down and talk and eat with some friends. Even Though there is plenty of space to sit, the place fills up fast! Their pizza is delicious! The kids Like that they could pick out their own drinks and eat and even make a mess! It’s cheap eats and a quick bite or it’s just a place to sit and talk. Whatever Mama’s pizza is - they shouldn’t Change a thing!

As far as NYC pizza goes, this place is no better than the 99¢ slices you get from 2 Brothers. Their only redeeming quality is the fact they are convenient, open early and stays open late. Salad and a beverage is already over $10... and we're seated ina food court!

Lovely Pizza specifically made as requested 😋. Excellent Customer Service, which even included detailed directions for an alternative pizza shop who were gluten free for my Granddaughters dietary needs.

A great spot to stop for a quick bite before or after the theatre. We shared three slices between two of us, which was plenty. Recommend Greek, Bbq chicken and Buffalo chicken pizza slices.

We stopped in for a quick slice of pizza and cold drink. Many pizzas are already cooked and just need to be warmed up. $6.00 slick for pepperoni and sausage. Good not great. Restaurant has many tables and is clean. Need a key for the bathrooms and they are clean

If you are hungry and just looking for a place to sell you a slice, well, this establishment is just like any number of others that you may come across. Hardly memorable, and the cost may be somewhat reasonable for the slightly over-sized (seemingly) slice, but think of this as a average snack in a pinch - only!

While walking around NYC we found this place. It was late at night so we were hungry so stopped in. We had to tell the guy taking the orders 6 times what we wanted and they still got it wrong. What we did get was good...not great but good. Not sure that is where we would go again if we were in NYC.

stopped in here between shows. Grabbed a few slices of pizza. Did not expect much. WOW, was I pleased. They have delicious pizza - large slices. Fairly priced. Plenty of seating, clean tables & floor. Service was quick and friendly. I definitely will go back.

We were walking around waiting for a Play and stopped in for a couple of slices before the Theater. Service was fast and excellent. The pizza was very good. The bathrooms were also very clean.

There is so much to say about this place from our first meal if meatballs to our last day for breakfast. ..firstly the sraff are amazing no rush take your time..the pizza we watch them make ..the other food options they serve up come always with smiles.. its an extremely fast moving service and you can always forgive ok food if the service is amazing...we witnessed a random act of kindness when a stranger bought a homless lady a meal ..this place was amazing the footfall unbelievable fantastic to watch best place to visit by far...tip some places will be victims of their own success to trendy to stuffy...find this place it awesom..

Visited a couple of times for take outs. Very organised staff. Food good value and so plentiful. Choice is endless and the place was so clean. Would recommend.

Was right across from my hotel and had an awesome array of food.Kept going back as I loved the fresh fruits and options of omelette,bagel,rolls etc. Was a treat watching them prep and serve with speed-especially the making of their long cheese filled rolls.

I can't say what authentic MY pizza is like, but the pizza at Mama's was delicious and not expensive by the slice. Seating is plentiful and the staff friendly. You order, pay, and then sit down. Lots of great looking desserts also!

Greasy, cheesy goodness. Not much selection for those who are vegetarian (always a complaint at pizza places though).

We stopped here for lunch across the street from ROW NYC. Salads were huge. The wife had a Greek salad & I had a chicken salad. They serve breakfast all day. Pizza 🍕 slices are huge.

Overpriced because of location. Sandwiches look OK, Pizza was marginal, burgers not very good (especially at those prices, with McDonalds right across the street!).

Stopped over at the restaurant for lunch with great varieties of choose. I ate baked chicken with salad and Pasta. Very reasonable price and nice music. I will stop again.

Great place for lunch with lots of choice - pizza, pasta, sandwiches, burgers, fries, salads & desserts etc etc! Food all fresh and such a delicious homemade taste. Prices are average but definitely cheaper than a restaurant. Plenty of seats and tables. Maybe the best lunch I had in NYC. Thank you!

Across the street from our hotel, how convenient. Great for all meals. Had the most delicious slice of pizza, not to mention their breakfast. Very economical. It's our to go to quick meal place when in NY.

My favorite was their pizza, others the meatball sub, and also the parmesian chicken sub. Well run with excellent service. Would definitely recommend.

Ate here while on holidays a couple of times. The Stromboli and pizza are greasy and good. I put on 20 pounds eating them, but man they're pretty good and cheesy! The also have a Subway, Nathan's and chicken place here and the cakes are also great!!!

Good food and reasonable prices, close to Intercontinental Times square. Had breakfast as well as lunch and dinner. Open late.
