This is a strange experience.. the place itself is nice but the food is very average and actually not that great. The menu tries to be creative but not one dish really was that good. It is also expensive for what it is. Quite forgettable and not coming back.

Review for to go pastries only. Stopped in for two awesome pastries for an afternoon snack. We had the passion fruit brioche which was amazing! Also tried the pistachio chocolate croissant which was also very good. Will definitely return.

We fell in love with this place the first time we went there. Cute little place for a tasty brunch. Sadly the second time (afternoon), we faced a rude service, who took our order but forbids us to sit on certain table. We had no choice but to leave as only one table was allowed and full.

Loved this place for breakfast. The food is really good, amazing coffee and I loved the vibe in this place. I would definitely recommend it.

This place is really a good tip. Products are outstanding and service friendly. Premises are set up in a very pleasant way.

We were looking for a nice breakfast spot where we could go to after City Hall during the week, and found Maman Tribeca on Yelp. What a great find! The space is nicely decorated and very inviting, the breakfast options plentiful and delicious! Our waitress was very friendly and efficient. And it was just a 10 minute walk from the Marriage Bureau, so for those of you looking for nice breakfast options after you tie the knot, I would highly recommend Maman. It could even accommodate a larger group. Merci Mamam, I will be back! :)

Our food was cold. I think they warmed it up in a microwave or something, which made the potatoes super dry. No bacon. The atmosphere was cool and the baked goods were yummy though.

One of the best cafes ever The vibes The food The drinks The team It will be my 1st place in my next visit to NY

We came here on a weekday morning after going to City Hall, and we had a fantastic experience. The place is quite spacious but very cozy and tastefully decorated -- it works well for two people as well as larger groups, up to 12 or so. There is a section with small couches in the front, and a larger section with tables in the back. The food is delicious, with various pastry options, quiches, and a variety of typical breakfast/brunch dishes, with a mix of French and American influences. The service is excellent -- very friendly, attentive and warm. We definitely felt very comfortable. It is also not very loud, so it is conducive to mellow and relaxed conversation. It's definitely a great spot for breakfast or brunch in the heart of Tribeca, we will most certainly come back!

My sister, my mom and I went to Maman for a Sunday brunch. Considering how crowded the city was, this restaurant offered a calm and quiet atmosphere which was perfect for brunch. We ordered a slice of quiche and two sandwiches, all of which were very tasty! They have attentive servers and plenty of vegetarian/vegan options. Will definitely return in the future...

Terrible service 30 minutes for a sandwich and a salad full of sugar Just a great decoration and good marketing save your money do not go

We had a very tasty breakfast with my niece. I had croque maman which was good but not toasted enough on the bottom and side salad was not needed for breakfast. My niece order the advocado toast which was very fresh and tastefull but not with enough bread/toast. We had to order an additional bread basket. Service was very good. They confuse our order initially and they apologized and reorder very quickly. Coffee was awesome!

Love this place, super cozy and inviting, great coffee and pastries, nice savory options too - and their paper to go cups are OH so pretty

I go here with my daughter every time we are in New York. Maman has a nice neighborhood vibe, the coffee is decent, you can get non- lactose options, the avocado toast is excellent, and there are many other tasty options. Maman has a front area and also a back-room, sit-down area. We have done both but I prefer the back room. The people who work there are pretty nice too, which always helps.

Awesome coffee and delicious treats! They have vegan and gluten free options which is excellent and super tasty. Lovely and cosy in the winter months ❄️

Maman had been on my list, as I wanted to try their chocolate chip cookie, on my self made chocolate chip cookie tour, but what a great find! We stopped by late on Saturday morning for a coffee and a cookie and were greeted and given a cozy sofa seat, by Washington, the GM. The oat milk cappuccino I ordered was probably one of the best hot drinks i have ever had. It was perfect. The cookie...oh the cookie. Layers of chocolate chips with, just a smattering of nuts, that adds a wonderful crunch. The cookie was perfectly baked, crisp edges, with a nice soft bite. So good! We loved it so much we went back for breakfast on Sunday. I had the caramelized onion quiche, and by far it was the best quiche I have ever had in a restaurant. Another cappuccino and a perfectly flaky chocolate croissant finished off the meal. The aesthetic of the TriBeCa location is so lovely. Calming blues and whites, rustic furniture, mismatched blue and white china, really well executed. All of the service was great, but Washington was the best front of house staff I have encountered in a long time. He was so welcoming, thoughtful and kind. Absolutely can't wait to visit again, and it will be hard to plan future trips unless I can stay within walking distance of this gem.

Had a quick breakfast there. Nice service, not crowded, so didn’t take long to get my order. Wish they had more vegetarian/vegan options but other than that lovely decor and great coffee!

Lovely cozy atmosphere and great coffee. I wasn’t blown away by my brunch choice but I may have ordered badly. Overall a lovely coffee and catch up place with warm and welcome decor.

Loved breakfast at Maman. Friendly staff, tasty, delicious food, trendy ambience and neat place. Highly recommend for breakfast or brunch!

The setting/vibe is a bit too precious, but this a solid choice for breakfast. Everything we had was quite good. The pastry basket probably a bit skimpy for $10. It was an early afternoon on a Saturday and the service was a bit slow. Certainly worth a visit for breakfast.

This branch of Maman on West Broadway street is pretty cute. I really liked the pastries including the chocolate pistachio croissant and the beignet. The Maman’s breakfast sandwich with chicken and the bacon jam was very good, but I thought the portion was slightly small. The lavender hot chocolate was excellent and much needed in a cold May weekend. My dad’s salmon dish was also very good. It’s definitely a cozy and popular spot and their service is great. I’d go back for sure, especially for that chocolate pistachio croissant.

The city that never sleeps? Is asleep on Sunday. I'm staying at a hotel in SOHO. I'm an early risers and my wife says, I'll wake up with you and walk! Yeah... she says that every Sunday and sleeps until 9am. Its a beautiful spring Sunday morning, I slip out of the room to do some coffee recon. I walk outside and search online, all of the coffee spots open at 8. If I'm going to wait, I'm going to wait for the best to open. I'm going to wait for Maman. I've been to the other location. I can get dizzy from all the freshly made baked goods. Flaky croissants. Perfectly made sandwiches. This is a larger space and there is more seating to enjoy a sit down meal. I'm going to buy an almond croissant and a Flat White for myself and bring back a coffee and a little treat for my wife. Have I mentioned the space is absolutely beautiful? Its very warm and rustic. I walk in at 7:56. I'm not greeted good morning, these folks are on a mission to open. They're putting out their sandwiches, pastries and desserts. A smile would have been nice, maybe she's French. I don't care either way because I know the almond croissant is going to be mind numbing. A gentleman walks in after I place my order. He orders a lot of pastries and a latte. He sits by the window where my coat is on the chair. I grab my coffee and we start talking. He's from Connecticut, I tell him this place is one of my favorite bakeries in NYC. I want to take a picture of my *amazing* almond croissant but I'm thinking it might be too much. His pastries come and he takes a picture! haha, I smile and I'm on my way. If your in the area, I highly recommend Maman in Tribeca.
Cookies and mushrooms delicacy
This is a place to have a wonderful mushroom sandwich and a marvelous cookie that you must ask to warm it for you, they melt in your mouth!
