This restaurant is lovely but my advice is don’t order the pizza! My husband had the lasagne and daughter the seafood pasta which were both delicious, full of flavour and very well cooked. I ordered pizza as did my son but I regret my decision and wish I’d had pasta. The pizza was greasy and no where near a slice I’d had in little Italy the day before or if I’m honest even the $1.50 slice I had was better too. Service was ok but have, had better. Would I visit again??…… probably not, sorry!

What is cool eh the beautiful and sophisticated place, well visited.. the region eh mto chic tb. I just ordered a bottle of wine and a not so good snack.. we went to eat a specific meat but the dish was out of season

I had not heard of it before when I saw a review on Instagram. Then when I looked it up I found it was rated by The NY Times as one of the top 100 in NYC. The location was perfect for meeting my brother who takes the bus from the Bronx which stops at Madison Square Park. The food was great. The lasagna would have been enough for 2 people and I craved it for days. It had a smart relaxed vibe. It's the kind of place one would want to keep coming back to. The bill came to $102 for dinner and drinks for two people without tip: which is about right for a Saturday night out with family in Manhattan.

We stopped by prior to our reservation time, and were immediately seated. The place was bustling with a lunch crowd. We were offered a variety of waters, and requested tap. Bread was served and it was good with the butter. Ordered the Ravioli Alla Primavera and easily finished it. Different servers stopped by to take our orders, replenish the waters, deliver the food, and pick up plates afterward. Hope tips are shared across the different servers.

I’m giving it a three because the salad was not good at all. Matter fact, some of the salad looked like it had gone bad and we had to pick those pieces out. It was a chicken salad was not that tasty. I had the salmon. I thought it was very goodwith spinach, it was good and the other person had a Panini sandwich that said it was very good so what a good but the salad was really bad

Mark's Off Madison is one of the best Italian restaurants in New York City. Mark's Off Madison ss also one of the City's best lunch sports for business meetings and tourists. Mark's Off Madison is ALSO one of the city's best American New York style restaurants, with its homemade brisket. It also has the city's best bagels and smoked fish brunches. It is hard to believe that one restaurant excels at all of these things, but it DOES. This is the most NEW YORK restaurant in all of NEW YORK.

I was very surprised the five people in our family all like the restaurant. That is very unusual! I love my Pomodoro pasta. The bread was incredible The wedge salad had remarkably Tasty blue cheese. My mother said that it was the best diver sole she had had on the entire trip. The wait staff was attentive.

Nice brunch spot, they had a good variety on items on the menu. We started with the bagel trio that also came with a bialy. Wish there would have been an option for a smaller portion for two people, no single order bagels. But it was fine, we took them with us. I had the frittata and it was a very generous portion and as was the croissant breakfast sandwich. Overall, it was good, not great - but that is from a brunch standpoint.

Two visits in two weeks. Consistency and excellence both times. Excellent service. Excellent food. Super, affordable wine selection. Particularly excellent prep of summer vegetables and Fred’s broccoli florets. Not overcooked or overworked. Wonderful prep of the shrimp skewers. Try the only Bolgheri red wine on the list. A real steal! We love the comfort of a confident, welcoming restaurant. Thank you, Mark. And your excellent team.

Not so friendly staff. Given stale bread . The famous chicken parm was about as average as it gets. The fries are pretty good but didn't blow us away as others have stated on social media. Two chicken Parma , 1-.French fry 2 diet cokes $106.00 for ok food.

i have been to mark"s restaurant in barneys a million times. the restaurant was sublime. food and service was perfect. Mark's on madison is anything but. The staff was unprofessional, and impatient. cutlery thrown onto the middle of the table for us to sort out. The food tasted like it was prepared the day before. Those 5 star days are over. The very worst part of the experience was hearing Mark himself shouting at a faimily. We were horrified. This is now a diner.

Service and vibe was good but food was not. We ordered the lasagne and lobster fettuccine after seeing reviews online. The lasagne was fine but the fettuccine dish lacked creaminess and flavour and did not look like the online reviews we had seen. Worst of all the lobster was overcooked and chewy. This was so disappointing for $54. Tiramisu for dessert was also very underwhelming. It tasted like tiramisu would if you were making it for a child. We would have mentioned this at the time, but weren't asked

Came here on a recommendation. Insane lasagne and chips, best we’ve ever had. Fantastic service, food was out very quickly but not rushed out the door. Would definitely go back.

Came after seeing the viral lasagna on Tik Tok. Service was OK, quite quick but grumpy waitress. Atmosphere was GOOD. I had lasagna which was OK - but for $40 expected it to be better - quite bland. My partner had the asparagus pasta which was really bland and couldn’t finish it. Disappointing due to the price and how highly rated it seemed on TikTok. Won’t be going back and wouldn’t recommend. However the cocktails were GOOD.

Well situated. I was really disappointed with the food at this restaurant. I found it to be an average experience and overpriced. We sat outside and it had a very hyped up feel but the menu was pretty standard average American fare. Good service but my fries were forgotten and I had to remind.

A wonderful experience dining outside on a beautiful July evening. The service was excellent and the food was amazing.

We very much enjoy the lasagna and pasta with lobster dishes. The latter was filled with lobster, making it worth the $50. The pasta here is house made. The branzino was also good. Cocktails, service, atmosphere were all good too. Would easily return and recommend this restaurant to a friend.
Dinner
Came here with a few friends. Food was good nothing over the top. If I was in the area I would go back but I wouldn't make a special trip to come back.
