Just do it. We had a group of foodies and some not so adventurous but we left with everyone happy! Dessert was unbelievable and all the ingredients are farm to table.

Amazing upper west side gem. Great food. Loved the decor and the food was very good. Marlow bistro is real hidden gem. Beautiful Cathedral view and romantic atmosphere. fabulous bar.

I got the feeling that singles were not welcome. No interaction between server and table. I think the word is shunned. Water not refilled. No bread offered or brought, whereas other tables had it. Other wait staff brought food and drink. Of course, I won't go back.

We had a business dinner here with a group. The restaurant is very cosy and the food is excellent quality. Everyone seemed positively impressed. A definitely good place to check out on the upper West side of the city.

Nice spot at the corner of Amsterdam and 110th, diagonally opposite the cathedral. Really interesting menu, though quite limited. Food was really tasty, and there's a good range of wines by the glass. Service was friendly but a little too fast. There was no offer of bread, nor Parmesan or black pepper (with the gnocchi). We were out in an hour after 3 courses: it was almost as if they wanted to turn the table around asap!

The simply and comfortably decorated corner bistro offers up a traditional and tasty brunch menu for neighborhood residents and college students alike. Well worth the stop.

Marlow Bistro is a magical place. The food is delicious and the atmosphere is so charming - cozy, rustic, beautiful, comfortable, flowers everywhere. I had a birthday party there and it was perfect in every way. Elena, the owner, is a great person who pays close attention to detail and was a pleasure to work with. The staff was attentive and friendly. The bar is great - plenty of seats, great specialty cocktails, top shelf liquor option. One of the most special things about Marlow Bistro is that they make it a priority to give back on a daily basis to people in need. They also prioritize sustainability in many impressive and inspiring ways. You will LOVE Marlow Bistro.

WOW a must stop when visiting , excellent food, atmosphere and just a unique experience, try the mozzarella... 👏

Marlow Bistro hits a sweet spot that is very hard to find in NYC--at least for an out of town visitor staying in Mid-Town. The food is great, it feels like a friendly neighborhood place, and the prices are quite reasonable. Two of us paid $155 (after taxes, before tip) for two appetizers, main courses, and desserts. The staff is extremely personable and efficient. At least three staff members engaged with us, making sure that all our needs were met without interruption. There is no waiting for "our" server. Everyone seems to look out for the needs of each table. The food made interesting use of fresh ingredients. TripAdvisor says this is an Italian and Mediterranean restaurant. We think Balkan would be more accurate, based on the chef's name and the accents of many of the staff. Whatever the origins, the cooking is creative and well executed. It is worth the cab ride from Mid-Town. Especially since the prices are low enough to more than justify the cab fare! If we lived in New York, we would be regulars.

Everything is fine at Marlow Bistro. It's all good, but, to us at least, it didn't have anything special about it. I had the branzino (seabass), which appeared to be cut from the upper half of the fish: a triangular shape about 1" wide and 6" long. Sort of a thin hot dog size. It seemed to be steamed, and it was delicious. Came with 4 small turnip halves (2 turnips), also steamed, very nicely-- soft but not mushy. Also, a few smears of pureed beets and a few small daubs of very green parsley. $25. Not much food there, and nothing comes with the entrees: no soup, salad, sides. My companion had the Balkan goulash, which is beef with pasta shells that have ricotta in them, all in a sour cream 'sauce'. Also very delicious. Modest portion. $18.50. Two glasses of Prosecco (good quality) at $8 each brought the bill up to $65. That's pretty standard for such a place, except most places include soup or salad, maybe potato or vegetable, with the entree. Service was fine: fast, intelligent, friendly. Ambiance is fine: nice, simple, wood decor, tables, chairs. No TV. Maybe 30 2-person tables. Airy, but crowded. A separate bar in a side room. Easy wheelchair access from the sidewalk, no step or even a ramp, just roll on in. If you're interested in dessert, the Hungarian Pastry Shop is one block north.

We tried this restaurant with some friends for lunch on a weekday. The bistrot has a nice ambiance, not too big and welcoming, with a nice view of St John the Divine. Service was friendly, the food was a bit of a mixed experience: my burrata (mis-spelled buratta in the menu and the bill) was very good; the Nicoise salad had seared fresh tuna rather than canned (cooked rare, which I like but my wife does't and sent it back for more cooking), and vegetables rather than salad; the poached eggs were fine, and the pizza margherita was not up to expectations. With two beers ($8 each) and one glass of Sauvugnon Blanc ($11) the bill was $98 for the four of us, a bit too pricey for what we had, even for a Manhattan restaurant. We had a nice time in that pleasant atmosphere, but I don't know if I would go back.

Afer visiting St.Johns the Divine Cathedral we found this restaurant. The place is cozy, even when outside was hot, inside was cold and refreshing but not freezing as anywhere else in the city. The food matched the place, specially the pizza and the seafood rissoto. The staff was really kind and accomodated us quickly considering we were seven people. This was a nice surprise. We fully recommend it.

My brother and I went here for brunch/lunch one Saturday. It was one of the few places around that had a table open without a reservation. The price was very fair for some incredible food. Their paprika potatoes (which accompany many of the dishes) was perhaps the best part. I definitely recommend and would go again.

Had dinner with a friend. Great food, good service - attentive without being intrusive. Nice ambience. Reasonable prices. I’ll definitely go back again.

The most romantic place I ever been. The service make my experience even better. And the food absolutely amazing! Thank you Marlow Bistro!

We had lunch here after visiting St. John the Divine. Located in the far reaches of the upper West Side, the room had more of the feel of a neighborhood spot. Light, airy and casual. Big windows looking out on the street. A nice bar area and another dining area. Outside seating was being set up when we were there. There was a nice selection of wines by the glass. We split a pizza which was very tasty. Thin crust [all other crusts are heresy!]. I went with average for the rating but only because it is hard to assign Very Good based on what we ate. But it was better than just average.

Nice "healthy" type bistro we visited to get out of the rain. Were looking for a light, late lunch and were not disappointed. My friend had a soup and I had a chicken sandwich (special) that was delicious. There is a bar but we just stuck with H20 since we were going out to dinner later that evening.

Excellent location near Columbia restaurant. The food was fine but the service was not. One waiter for the entire restaurant...so the service was suboptimal to say the least.

Marlow bistro is real hidden jewel in this part of the City. With beautiful Cathedral view and kinda romantic atmosphere. The quality-price ratio of the food is very good. This is not the place where you will eat "just another ordinary" meals. This is real Mediterranean touch. Grilled octopus, Lobster Tortellini, Branzinno, finger licking deserts and great selection of wines worldwide are just some of the options. Service is very kind and pleasant. Everything looks that we will definitely come back again.

Went here for my father's 85 birthday. It's hard to find a good restaurant that is truly accommodating for a wheelchair, but the staff was great, and the place gets an A+ for accessibility. Our meal was excellent - I enjoyed my burger- Dad got the steak, which he said was delicious. Everyone seemed to enjoy the food and the service was great. We will be making it a regular family spot!

We visited during our 4 night stay in New York as a family. Great atmosphere, food was all round of a high standard and the desserts in particular were really good. Not especially cheap but we all thought it was great value

8 of us had reservations for a late lunch on a recent Saturday. Service was slow from the get-go. We were seated, waited and finally had to ask for menus. (Note: they have a separate lunch/brunch menu - not what is shown in their website). It took a very long time for our drink order to be taken and arrive. Three of us ordered the fresh gnocchi which isn't gnocchi at all but actually shells. One had the hamburger, one French toast, one an omelette, one the croque madame and one had a special. When our meals finally arrived we had to ask 3 times for parmesan for the pasta. All in all we were very disappointed and would recommend somewhere else in the area.

Very good farm-to-table style, seasonal fare. We came for lunch but there were also some brunch options on the menu. The space is charming with a French cafe vibe, exposed brick, tile floors and Francophile music playing at low volume. Lots of windows, nice light and a view of the cathedral.

The cocktail and the food are amazing! The chocolate cake is incredible! The Divine cocktail was a really good surprise! I highly recommend this place!

Meet family for brunch on a Saturday before event at St. John's. My husband not a big brunch person looked at menu before we arrived and said great there is a hamburger on the menu. Ordered the burger and was told it was stuffed with fontina cheese and something else and they were pre made so no other choice on the burger. Did that mean it was also frozen? So that set the tone for the rest of the day. Thanks Marlow Bistro!

We went here to try their aged Negroni and Manhattan and I highly recommend it. Great place for late night drinks

normally sit at the bar. fun, engaging bartender. we normally have the faro salad and a pizza but there are plenty of other options. my wife once looked at the menu and ordered the carpaccio. it came and stunned her - she thought it was beef...it actually was beeT. laughter aside it was a lovely appetizer which we have ordered again. a good choice if you are up in the area - better than most around there.

Excellent experience. Food and wine list are amazing. The service was great and loved atmosphere. Highly recommended.

Four of us ate here prior to a 2:00 pm concert at St. John the Divine Cathedral. It is a 4-5 minute walk from the Cathedral. Relaxed ambiance and an interesting and tasty menu. Two had the Niciose salad and I had the burrata and another had an egg white omelette. All were consumed completely. The burrata comes on a toasted wheat slice with peppers and a small salad. It was entirely pleasant and friendly.

DALE‘s comment was that she didn’t like it at all, it was nothing. My comment is that it was Schleppy. We shared a margarita pizza which was fine. Dale had pasta that was not fine I had a hamburger that was terrible. Service was awful and yet the place was busy. We will not return

Finally a place in the area that hits the spot intersection of nice casual dinning, in a beautifully put together, yet friendly and warm environment- with delicious food. It's a perfect place for a nice date night in the neighborhood! I loved the cavatelli, tuna tartare and the Tartufada pizza- accompanied by some nice red wine. We were at the table restaurant side, but bar looks nice. Highly recommend MarlowBistro!

We have had brunch at Marlow Bistro a few times and we really enjoy it! The place has a friendly, family run feel combined with great food. We've had the poached eggs, eggs florentine and my particular favorite, the Salmon tartine. My friend liked the Burrata bread a lot too. Drinks were nice, waitstaff was great (a little slow placed, but thats good for brunch). I think its the nicest place in the area by far (and has amazing views of St. John the Divine).

Average, very overpriced food, won’t be back. Better, more moderately priced options nearby. The burger was a budget busting $28 - good but not dazzling. At Cafe du Soleil, Le Monde, and Tartin, all nearby, the range is $18-$23, more in line with the market. Same for everything else we had - good but not dazzling and just too pricey for a neighborhood spot.

I've been 4 times in 4 months; clearly, I find things to love about this place. However, each time I've been the service is poor and haphazard. I've experienced being seated between two tight tables when everywhere else is open, meal taking over 45 minutes to arrive, plates served leaning across my guests unnecessarily, no offer of refilled bread despite arriving with teenagers. Tonight was the worst however with my delicious branzino served on a cold plate atop cold vegetable puree. My daughter's pizza was icy cold making me wonder if it was a pre made frozen pizza. My son's pizza was satisfactorily warm and my husband's burger delicious. I overheard the woman at the next table ask to exchange coleslaw for veggies with the salmon and told no that everything is pre-apportioned. They were further told no they couldn't have a pizza half one type and half another. To the owner: I am BEGGING you! I desperately want you to succeed; I love the branzino and the convenience of being one block away. Please train your staff and insure consistency from the chef: timing, hot plates, food temperature. You get one more try.

The restaurant is very cute inside and the service was good but none of us really enjoyed our meals. Maybe we'd go back for drinks but I doubt we'll return for food.

Lovely place to stop for dinner -- do NOT miss the faro salad -- it's FABULOUS! Terrific flavors all combined. We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner with a lovely beet salad, fish, and ... did I mention the faro salad?

We started with hot tea in charming individual pots - did I mention it was a cold rainy day? One of us got the Restaurant wee 3-course meal and we shared the salad and dessert. Salmon was fantastic and the service was charming. A great way for 3 friends to catch up and have a lovely meal.

We liked the food very much, so we went there twice. However we discovered today when receiving the check of our credit card company that they raised our tip without our permission with in total USD 38

You must visit this place, the food is amazing and fresh, prices are very reasonable the pizza and perfect and the service is superb

On Sunday, May 19, after attending a gospel mass in Harlem early in the morning and taking a walk there, my wife and I went down to the northern part of Central Park and headed west, towards the Cathedral of St. John the Divine (which is huge!), then we went to the park next door, the Street's People Garden, where there were some bronze sculptures by fine arts students on display and it was very nice there. There were breaks in the clouds and it was a magnificent day. Afterwards we went to this Marlow Bistro for lunch because we were very struck by how well decorated it was, both outside and inside. It is an ideal restaurant to eat as a couple (it is very romantic), the atmosphere is very good and the customer service is impeccable: we were served by a very nice and pleasant girl whose name, unfortunately, I can't remember right now. But, as I said, we were very struck by the decoration (with many very pretty flowers!), the food was delicious, the beer expensive (as usual in New York), beautiful views and, in short, everything was good. If we traveled to NY again, we would repeat without hesitation!

I was excited to try this new bistro since, I had passed it many times. My friend suggested we try it out for dinner and , I was ready. The Pro's Ambience is really nice. Menu selection good Wine/cocktail choices good Spacious Bar Con's The Waitstaff... They were very forgetful in service. Needed to be more attentive. Food was ok. Presentation was good. Yet flavor should have been better. We both ordered the spaghetti and basil/pesto. So much basil , I thought it was made with a different type of pasta. The dessert was nice. I had Chocolate crémeux. Overall, it was ok. Nice place but should be better.

Poor service, server did not understand English and did not deliver the food as I wanted it prepared. She brought me rubbery eggs and screamed st me when I requested her to have the chef recook them Then she was arguing loudly with the cook and with the manager on the side of my table. Why do they hire such poor communicators in a neighborhood frequented by university professors and tourists? Please train your staff better, She was stubborn, insolent and refused to correct her problem so the manager came ! At the prices they charge this is totally unacceptable!

Everything was great, food was excellent, coffee also. Deserts are greeeat :-) visit this place if you are in NY.

A short walk from our Airbnb, this welcoming and humble restaurant has more of a Southern European, neighborly feel compared to its highfalutin competitors. The outdoor seating, enclosed by garden planters blooming with geraniums, is consistent throughout the interior, which also has hanging vines and ivy along the shelving and by the windows. Its artful display pairs well with the mosaic tile floors and warm earth tones without feeling overcrowded or distracting. Staff reflects the laid back aesthetic, and the food is simple, farm-to-table taste. Nothing is overdone, you can taste the purity of each ingredient, and the care that went behind it. Like with anything, food has the potential to be forced into something its not, we often confuse bland with pure, yet with quality sourced ingredients, there's no need to fall into the trap of food trends or overdone menus. For instance, beets can be prepared as purees, so long as it still tastes like beets. That's not stuffy, that's taking traditional flavors and layering them in inventive gastronomical experiences without losing sight of the gathering of the harvest.

This is such a pretty place. In a neighborhood that isn’t exactly “picturesque” this is an oasis of floral cafe village-Esq calm with great views of the cathedral and plenty of outside seating with lots of greenery. Alas it ends there. The food was bland. Literally no seasoning in the omelette and it took nearly an hour to get it after we ordered. Odd given that they were not full. Of course this could be a rare occurrence - perhaps they were short staffed? We were comped drinks to make up for it.

We had a very good experience here if not for the cost. It's a cozy atmosphere and the staff was lovely. The short ribs were delicious as was the risotto. However, an average check of over $70 with a drink and splitting a few desserts was way too pricy for what we had. And, they added the gratuity without telling us, which is a little shady since I'm sure many people don't notice. I will probably not return.

Finally got to try this place and can’t wait to go back! Food is impeccable and drinks are amazing! Staff is super friendly and attentive! Looking forward to trying more next time!

The CARAMEL MOUSSE was amazing! Love this place! I highly recommend it to all desert-lovers! Andrea Pankovska

My husband and I visited here spontaneously as we walked past with our baby in a stroller, they accommodated us with no questions and were incredibly helpful. The menu was small but perfectly formed and we both thoroughly enjoyed our food, the chocolate desserts was incredible!

This is such a gem and special place on UWS. We live near Marlow and its our favorite place. Their pizza is thin crust and very light. Its so beautiful inside and out it really looks like you are somewhere in Europe. They have the best happy hour deals as well

It would have been great and the salad I had was tasty, but I had come because I have dietary restrictions and a dish on their online menu was perfect for me. When I got to the restaurant they no longer had it on the menu. They did admit they needed to update their website menu. i had to stick with a salad only. Other offerings were too risky for me, oh well.

Absolutely amazing~ This place is beautiful and stuff is super friendly.非常好的体验 我会推荐朋友来这里 环境很漂亮 我们点的每道菜都很美味 如果你想找一个环境好的地方和朋友喝一杯吃点好吃的食物这会是一个最好的选择

Came here to catch up with a friend and loved it. The beets salad it’s a must try, we had the ravioli and the steak, highly recommended

We had a wonderful dinner Saturday evening at this busy bistro. The wine choices were abundant and poured from a beautiful decanter. I had a beautiful fillet that was cooked to perfection. It had a truffle sauce that was delicious. Everyone in our group has different dishes and were quite pleased with their meals. My neice had cod that looked beautiful and my nephew got a pork duo that he enjoyed. All the food was artfully displayed. I did not order dessert but tasted parsnip ice cream. It was amazing! I would recommend this spot for a delicious dinner and a pretty place taboot!

A perfect post-pandemic lunch! Definitely we will come again. Great staff and cosy atmosphere! Don't miss the dessert, its super delicious:)

First, we eat out almost every meal at least 5-6 nights a week so we eat out a lot in Manhattan. Marlow is by far one of the best restaurants in the city for its combination of extremely sincere friendly service, excellent cocktails and a menu that has evolved exponentially while keeping to its roots. Us folks on the UWS are fortunate to have Marlow in the neighborhood as it would stand up easily to downtown restaurants. The entire staff makes you feel like your walking into their home - I may value this equal to the food. The restaurant itself is comfortable, just enough light and you won’t have a problem hearing your friends speak. The chef focuses on seasonal ingredients and a daring combination of flavors that results in delicious dishes that meld flavors and textures perfectly. With a changing menu, we can easily go once a week and not get bored. Grilled Octopus to seasonal greens. Pasta to seafood to meats. And can’t forget the best thin crust pizza in the city....Marlow is a gem.

After visiting St John’s Divine, we spotted this lovely corner bistro. This is our kind of cafe! It’s small, unique seating and very friendly server! We lingered a bit after a late lunch and never felt rushed. We had tuna over salad and beet sauce fish dish! All was wonderful!

Atmosphere was great. It has good vibe and positive spirit. Meals are great. Servers are doing their best to keep you served at top level. I will come back again soon. Thanks

If you are on Upper West Side of New York City then Marlow Bistro is a must. We can call it shining star of Amsterdam Ave because it has great vibe and special people that will take care of you. Food is great, view is great, it is located on corner W 110th and Amsterdam Ave. Enjoy

Its a great place to sit and eat outside and see New York walk by. The food is excellent and the service great. They help you with the selection of wine or drinks with your food. Its a lovely place to eat and relax.

We really enjoyed dinner at Marlow Bistro. It was the perfect place (on short notice) for meeting our friends (we were two couples). The place hit a nice mix of cozy and trendy (for the area). Food was delicious, and while not inexpensive, it seemed to us to be well worth the price. We ordered the burrata, goulash, burger and carbonara pasta. Got drinks at the bar while waiting for our friends and bartender was extremely nice. Service was a tad slow, but it worked out well as we hadn´t seen our friends in a while so the timing was great for catching up. Overall great experience.

Came in for a New Years Eve dinner. Food + service + cocktails were all very good. Looking forward to coming back for the regular menu.

Wonderful restaurant, wonderful chef, wonderful staff! Be sure to try the goulash when it comes on the winter menu! Yummy! Marlow Bistro is such a great addition to the UWS. The dining atmosphere is awesome!

Whenever summer comes, I'd be obsessed with outdoor seatings. I don't even care about the food. Yet the seafood risotto at Marlow successfully shifted my attention from watching people on the street to my plate. The service was pretty good too. Every one was very friendly and helpful. The young lady and our waiter both had the perfectly slight accent with their English. Couldn't tell why, but I just love that. We went there to celebrate my friend's graduation. Yet didn't order drink there, which didn't make sense looking back. Since it's close to where I live, will go back for drinks next time!

I had been looking for apartments for my Son all morning and was tired. Wasn't sure where to eat so we walked into Marlow Bistro - the outside is very inviting. Inside, we found great service, very good food (tried burrata pizza, pasta, nicoise salad, beet carpacio were the items we had tried) and a warm atmosphere. We enjoyed the food enough to return the next day - not adventurous on our part but the sure bet was worthwhile. Amit

The staff are amazing. We had booked an outdoor table but upon arrival, wanted to move indoor. They were so nice and accommodating. Much quieter and more intimate indoor. Food was top quality.

A fabulous experience with delicious food and a warm and friendly staff. Their food is unique and delicious every time.

Food is seriously amazing, except for the pizza, which is still fine, but not as amazing. It's just a great place. However, special note for vegetarians. There are lots of vegetarian options on the menu, but I was disappointed to find out that EVERY SINGLE dessert (there were four) contained gelatin. And they were desserts you'd never expect. Now it's really cool that the waiter knew that, he was seriously on top of things, and it makes me think about how much gelatin I must have eaten at other restaurants. But still, I was disappointed and want everyone to know.

Wonderful, casual dinner with friends. Superb food, wonderful service, exceptional ambience. Vegetarian options made this a great choice for everyone in our group. We had salmon, chicken, brussels sprouts .... and for dessert: carrot cake and vegan hazelnut chocolate cake. Yummy!

We had our wedding dinner for 55 guests at Marlow Bistro last Saturday night, and we couldn’t have been more pleased with the way everything turned out. Elena was lovely to work with during the planning stage, and she and her entire staff were gracious, cheerful and attentive throughout the dinner. Many of our guests told us that they thought their meals were excellent and that they would come back to Marlow the next time they were in the neighborhood. So will we! The space is charmingly rustic and cozy. Kudos to Elena and crew for giving us a beautiful evening to remember.

We went to have dinner with my wife and kids last weekend.. we had the gnocchi and the burger and it’s was delicious . The place is very beautiful and the staff extremely friendly.

The space is welcoming and the cuisine ambitious. The chef has a different take on many classics and for the most part, they are successful. The beet salad was not the classic lettuce and goat cheese but was full of tasty roasted beets dusted with crunchy nuts, crisp radishes and a creamy goat cheese underneath. The excellent octopus was accompanied by potatoes, green beans and potato purée. The flavors were great but some parts were cold and others hot- not sure if this was intentional. Seafood risotto was excellent and full of crunchy green bits as well as seafood. Panacotta came with surprising but welcome fruit. So - in short, it is an attractive bistro with a chef who serves inventive and surprising food which for the most part works very well. Service is very friendly if a little erratic, but this is a casual neighborhood place with some pretty ambitious food. Well worth a try.

Warm service, beautiful ambiance, delicious food, and a wonderful drinks menu - all at very good prices. Absolutely loved this experience for our party of 6. Every dish was marvelous and the service was exceptional. We will definitely be adding this to our "must dine" locations when we are in the city. Also of note - we had a diner with Celiac Disease and the server was incredibly competent and made sure to check with the well-versed kitchen in letting us know what was safe for her to consume. Many options were already gluten free, naturally. She felt she had a large selection to choose from. Also of note - their tawny port is exquisite.

Although we unwittingly came on Father's Day, so no reservations available, we were able to get a nice table in the bar, under the A/C, which turned out to be perfect! We were served quickly and the food was excellent! Nice variety of egg and brunch dishes available.

At the upper west side of Manhattan, this is a place for those who know it. It is atmospheric with some tables outside for the warm NY summer days, which is very nice. The menu appeared imaginative, but dishes were prepared below expectations, although presented in a nouvelle cuisine approach. They only followed the small portions of nouvelle cuisine, but not its sophisticated preparation though. Service “laisse à désirer”, as the drinks were brought almost at the end of the meal, there was no particular skill in serving and no particular warmth or friendliness.

This has been our place of choice for a leisurely lunch, in a Europeanesque, relaxed atmosphere. The owner/chef pair obviously know how to run a good business, and all the dishes we had were delicious. The setting is nice, the decor is fun and contemporary but not ritzy, and the philosophy is to serve locally produced and obtained ingredients, which we support. Definitely worth a try, and a revisit.

This place is truly the best!!! I had the French toast and it was the best I ever had! My fiancé had their pasta with figs, and he loved it! 10 out of 10 for this place! Really kind staff too, and cozy environment! You must visit!

I don’t know who is the brains behind this restaurant but kudos. This is a five star experience. A Micheline starred performance for sure. Start to finish was amazing. Seafood Angoliti was unreal. Spiced carrots. Octopus amazing. I’m still trying on figure out the magic. Unreal!

What a great place to eat. My wife convinced me to reserve in Marlow Bistro. Making a reservation was very easy and the waiters were very friendly. The food was good but we enjoyed more their bar. We had a good time there.

Had pizza with friends. All agreed that was not good and overpriced. $18 for a small personal pizza. Drink cocktail was decent. Bartender was nice and welcoming. Wine selection is definitely bottom shelf. Chilean cab was awful. They should get better whites, rose was really bitter. Food in general is mediocre, definitely Noth worth the prices. Our bill for 4 people was almost $300 and we left unhappy. Too bad because their location is nice and it's a shame seeing places charging top dollar for bottom shelf quality. I eat out every day..

Cosy place, with alot of New Yorkers, not tourist place which I liked alot. Food is great, service also. If you come to Marlow ask for Tanya! She is the best server in Marlow!!!

Very pleasant, cozy restaurant, opposite corner from the Cathedral of St. John the Divine (with good views) -- salmon tartine and warm faro salad were quite flavorful.

Definitely returning for more and more and more and more. The staff was just amazing, helpful and informative about everything (Yes, Im one of those that like to know about most dishes on the menu). The food was, in lack of better word amazing. Thankful to our server that recommended an amazing wine with our meal. The atmosphere was cozy and warm, such welcoming place. Definitely returning and recommending to our friends when they visit NYC

A delightful evening at Marlow Bistro! It 's newly opened, another in a long chain of restaurants to open in this beautiful corner, 110th and Amsterdam, yet seemingly doomed, from a restaurant point of view, location. I'm putting money on this incarnation though and will return frequently! The interior has ben redone beautifully. The menu includes many options across a wide range of tastes. Our server was friendly and informed. The wine and cocktail menu pleased. While we didn't try desserts, they sounded good. I had the Branzino and enjoyed it immensely.
Perfectly pleasant
If you’re like to be around the Upper Upper West Side near Columbia Universitynat lunch time, take advantage of a sidewalk table at Marlow Bistro. You won’t regret it!
