Go for drinks, avoid the food

Beautifully designed interior. Lots of light. But the food is mediocre to bad. Potatoe wedges were uncooked blocks of potato lightly browned exterior. NY strip was not great quality. Presentation is respectable but quality is lacking.

What a beautiful spot!! This is a perfect combination of great food & drinks, great vibe and music and beautiful setting.. you don’t feel rushed, the space is spacious and beautiful. The staff is extremely friendly and basically there to accommodate every little request. Excellent job.

Top-Tier Eats and Atmosphere at Marlow East

Marlow East is a gem on the Upper East Side! Great spot with a warm, stylish ambiance and a vibrant crowd. The food and drinks were top-notch, but the service was truly what made the experience exceptional.

Excellent place, we had Ceaser salad and halibut. Both great and delicious. The place looks amazing, it has a second floor and the view is spectacular.

A Hidden Gem in the Upper East Side!

I had an amazing time at Marlow East what a truly elevated addition to the neighborhood! From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was warm, stylish, and inviting. The food was absolutely delicious, the drinks were perfectly crafted, and the service was exceptional. I still can’t believe a restaurant of this quality just opened on the Upper East Side! Every detail from the menu to the ambiance was thoughtfully done. I’ll definitely be coming back soon and recommending it to all my friends.

Marlow

Very pretty restaurant, food is just ok but they ask you to pay and leave just after 1 hour and 45 minutes, I found this to be very rude. It happened the 2 times I was there. I will not go back. A very expensive restaurant

Great bar crowd, great vibe

Great place to grab some drinks and relax at the bar before heading home. Bar is walk in’s only and great to try it around 5/6pm. The guys there are just great.

Fantastic time at Marlow East

We had such a fantastic time at Marlow East. The vibe was fun and lively, and the music was perfect. All the apps were delicious, my favorite was the beef tartare served over marrow. Honestly every single bite was delicious, ending with the Sundae special. Overall Marlow East has great food, great energy, and thoughtful details that make the whole experience memorable. Would highly recommend and definitely plan ro come back!

Short menu, overrating, way overpriced

I had a Caesar salad (none of the ingredients were in the original recipe) and french fries. For 2 Caesar salad, 2 french fries and 1 bottle of water we paid 115 $. Crazy!!

Great new establishment on the ues! Delicious food and exceptional service. Jelena was wonderful. The Silk Road cocktail is a must try and the burger with pimento cheese is delicious

New Spot - Off to a Decent Start

By Jim P |

Judging from the success of Marlow Bistro on the West Side, the freshly opened new Marlow East across on Lexington Avenue will get itself sorted out. Two couples for dinner - we enjoyed the crisp clean setting and outstanding attention and service, starting with an extended round of drinks at the bar and running through our meal. Which was a slightly mixed proposition. Caesar and mixed green salads started us well. (Side note: the raw bar in the back looked appealing and worth a try.) For mains, filet mignon, roast halibut and truffled pasta met expectations; for myself, the sauce for my pasta special of blue crab agnolotti was perplexing in its spices where subtlety was called for. (Side note #2: if value is an issue, be alert to shop the wine list with care.) Tough racket, the restaurant business - time will tell, but the potential to stand out is there.

The perfect dinner for a special night on the UES

By Allie C |

Marlow East is my new favorite UES restaurant for truly any occasion. The menu is incredibly fresh and innovative, the drink menu, stellar as well. My mom and I had nearly everything on their raw bar (Hamachi is out of this world!!), shared the mixed green salad and steak with the bordelaise sauce. It was divine and the steak cut like butter! The special Sundae for dessert capped off the night. We will be back for more!
