I came to mikado on a Monday night with a friend. The service was great and we ordered a lot of food. The food was also Great food and wine was tasty. I reccomend ordering a bunch of rolls with different people

I visited this sushi restaurant and had a great overall experience. The sushi was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared definitely the highlight of the meal. Each roll had a nice balance of textures and flavors, and you could really taste the quality of the fish. I also tried the salmon teriyaki, which was decent but not as impressive as the sushi. The sauce was a bit underwhelming, and the fish could have been cooked with a little more care. Still, it was enjoyable overall. Great service and relaxing atmosphere. I’d rate my visit a solid 4 out of 5.

Good overall. Food would be 4/5 In terms of price-quality ratio, it’s more 5/5 In a nutshell, traditional sushi with some “chef’s flavoring”. Fish quality good, but pretty usual stuff. On the “Premium Set” as shown in the photos, you will see fresh but repeated fish on an 8 piece order (albeit different flavoring). This will satisfy most sushi lovers if you want good price-quality ratio without the fancy pants.

Absolutely fantastic experience! The service was prompt and friendly, making us feel right at home. The rolls were beyond delicious, with the spicy crab stealing the show — an absolute must-try! Unsure of what to order, we were grateful for our server’s thoughtful suggestions. The beautiful decor added to the ambiance, and I couldn’t get enough of the charming water glasses. Highly recommend!

Place is nice, the ambience is super cute. We got the 4 rolls deal which is a good price $27 on dinner. We got salmon, tuna, spicy tuna and yellowtail.

Great lunch special, clean and fresh, good bang for your buck in the financial district area. There are great selections for lunch specials and fairly priced with hand roll or maki rolls for lunch.

The waitress was extremely unprofessional and seemed poorly trained. After we left a $10 tip—which is considered generous where I come from—she looked at us, made an immature sound as if mocking us, and then went to complain to other employees. It was shocking and very disrespectful. You should pay your employees properly and not rely on customers to cover it. Good service should be part of the experience. The sushi and the rest of the food were good, but the attitude and behavior of this staff member were unacceptable. This was the first time I’ve ever experienced something like this.

Clean, spacious, good addition to the area. Great lunch specials. We got 4 maki rolls for $20 and an 8pc sushi and roll for $22. Can’t beat that in nyc!
