We’re from SF and it was our first time in New York’s Chinatown ~ it didn’t disappoint. Happy to find a Cantonese style restaurant with lots of our favorites. We were able to walk in and didn’t wait long for a table. Good service, authentic cooking and relatively inexpensive for the amount of food they serve!

Excellent Chinese restaurant, very cheap food in Downtown Manhattan (I got a whole meal for 10$, tip included) The food is good (especially given how cheap it is) and the service is OK ! They won't propose you but you can get free tap water, no problem. The location is perfect of course, right in the middle of Chinatown, very enjoyable atmosphere. Great place, especially for tourists on a tight budget !

One of the many restaurants where you can get big meals for a steal. They have a large menu items which makes it hard to choose from. Good Service is lacking due to under staffing. They have To-Go orders so it’s also a lot of people lining up for pick up and lots of in-house clientele. A pretty busy eatery. You’re able to see the chef cut up your meats live. We ordered a variety of meals. It was nice, tasty, and authentic. The downside is that the waiter will ask you to tip them after paying the bill, even though the only thing they did for you is take your orders.

Excellent food and service and Clean Got 12ish by 12:45 their was line out the door Well worth the wait. Couple next to said the duck was the best they every had

Chinese food at its best, authentic, good portions, and at a reasonable price. Friendly service and the service staff all spoke good English. It’s very interesting to note it has only ever had 3 reviews? Hmm… Maybe I should have kept it a secret. You can have it as a starter or with your main course ie Chinese style but a mid size portion of hot and sour soup will easily do 3 people. The 2 mix meat dish we had was roast duck and siu yoke, fatty pork, or maybe try the char siu if you prefer the lean pork. The siu yoke as commensurate with that you would get in Hong Kong! For safe eaters the sweet and sour pork is also great. One portion of vegetables for 3 is more than enough. We had pak choi. Egg fried rice was the filler. Highly recommend this restaurant.

Stumbled on this place in China Town. The area has +100 restaurants, so I think the standard and menu is pretty similar where ever you go.. its China Town. Can´t say so much more than the food tasted good and they had descent service.

As someone who lived in Hong Kong for 8 years, l can say that this is an authentic experience. The noodle soup was to die for, the chicken lo mein was delicious, and the Yung Chow fried rice was top notch. We all came away happy. Highly recommended.

... here we go. In everything. From the "direct" reception, mostly frequented by Chinese, the glazed ducks and pork hanging in the window, all very good, the dishwashing sector in the basement next to the toilets, in short, here we are in the deepest China, but I would go back tomorrow, the Peking duck is super.

Chinese Comfort Food. Congee. Roast duck. Bok Choy. Kee and I met to go to her favorite spot in Chinatown where she is a regular customer. Everyone knows her. She knows how much I like duck and ordered a plate of half a duck. The rich aroma perfumed its way to our table. The crisp skin glistened. A first bite and my heart sang with joy. A large bowl of congee with fish was Kee’s order along with the traditional long pastry that resembled a churro. Bok choy and rice accompanied this lunch. We both ate heartily and yet there was enough to take home. Several customers were enjoying their meals. Service was fine. The restroom on the ground floor is ideal. The stairs to the ones downstairs have fabric covering them that are not fitted well and it feels uneasy. Plus the restrooms are narrow so it’s uncomfortable and would be difficult for a corpulent person.

Went here for Lunar New Year dinner on a last minute reservation with some friends and the food was delicious, service was speedy for a large group. Would come back again!

Okay first of all, we sit down and a pot of tea with two cups is set down instantly. Now, we had just come in from the pouring cold rain and NOTHING could have been better than that. Follow that up with great fried rice and Generals Chicken? Get. Out. Of. Town. YUM! And affordable!

We stumbled across this place on our visit to NY, visiting Chinatown, and were so impressed we took a subway from Times Square for the next 2 days to eat there. Amazing food, (I really recommend the fried beans with garlic) friendly staff and good prices. The complimentary pot of tea when you first sit down was also a lovely touch. If I was to offer a tip for improvement, maybe offer a white and red wine as it’s only soft drinks and beer at the moment.

My parents picked us up some lunch here because it was new, so they wanted me to try it - and they've picked up lunch from here before and said it was pretty good. So they ordered a bunch of things for us to share: Cha siu over rice - cha siu tasted a bit old. We suspect it might be from the night before since they went when the restaurant just opened. I'd still be willing to give it another shot but maybe later on in the day, when I know they've roasted some fresh ones Fried noodles with ham and chicken - one of my go-tos except they put celery in it (which I hate). Still, not unforgivable - just have to remember to ask them to leave it out next time Roast pig - pretty solid roast pig. It has the right about of fat to meat ratio, which makes the meat very tender. The skin was still crispy after a 30ish minute ride over to NJ Beef with tomato (add egg) over rice - this was everyone's favorite. The beef was very tender but still had lots of beef flavor. Some places put too much meat tenderizer that you can't even taste the beef anymore, but not here. The sauce with the added egg was just perfect. I could just eat that over rice by itself Overall, the food was good. I think Big Wong has got some competition, especially since they're on the same block!

The very tasty peking duck crisp and full of meat. Generous portions. We don't like housin duck sauce and neither do pancakes for duck
NYC Chinatown at its best!
We found this restaurant by accident when we were walking through Chinatown. They welcomed us very nicely and got us a table fast. Free, hot tea was instantly brought to us. We ordered triple roast rice, congee, dough sticks and fish ball noodle soup. The food came quickly and was excellent and we were given free iced water when we asked. We were very surprised at how inexpensive the bill was given how nice the food was. Service was great; the staff were friendly and welcoming. Overall, delicious food and very good value. Would definitely recommend.
