Great Food, Great Vibes!

By Kelli |

Brought my teen son here for dinner before a show. We had the Buffalo Mac & cheese balls for an appetizer - we did the sauces on the side since I like spicy and he doesn’t. I had the pancake burrito and he had the chicken and waffles. Everything was so tasty and the portions were huge. The music was fun and our server was engaging and helpful. The menu is full of fun cocktails, mocktails, and shakes but we didn’t have room for extras so we’ll definitely have to come back!

Get the Chicken and Waffle!!!

By joel1316 |

Great customer service. Comfortable setting. I am writing this review just to say that you need to try their Chicken and Waffles! It's one of the best out there!!!

Awesome diner feel

By Shijna |

Oversized and slightly overpriced, but tastes pretty good! Giant drinks if that’s your thing. It’s pretty loud in there unfortunately so don’t plan to have a solid conversation while you’re there. Funky interior with decor that will bring you back to the early days!

Nope. Don't stop here.

As a group of 3 we all ordered different meals. 2 were steak dishes. The steaks were sandwich steaks (thin and cheap) but were expensive. There was minimal seasoning. Tbh I have no idea what I ordered because it was so unmemorable - and it was only 3 weeks ago. The problem was the pitcher of sangria we ordered. I have had sangria in Spain and Portugal - I enjoy it. At Mom's Kitchen, this would be one of my top 3 worst sangria of all time. There was barely any alcoholic content. It was presented nicely, however, in an attempt to disguise the fact. The toilets were disgusting - paper towels all over the floor and no supplies in the stalls or at the sink. There are so many places to eat in New York. Choose another one.

Excellent place to go before a matinee show

By E3921VFedwardl |

It was crowded but it had a lively atmosphere. We had the "Adult" grilled cheese and the Tex Benedict. The grilled cheese was heavenly. The avocado gave it an added flavor to the creaminess. The eggs benedict were made to perfection. Even the coffee was excellent. We had a great meal.

Excellent Breakfast and Service

By VaBeachLocal |

Popped in here on a whim for breakfast and am glad I did. Was warmly greeted with a "Hi! Welcome Home". Sat at the bar as I was by myself and didnt want to take up a table that could be used for a bigger party (and it indeed did get busier). Ordered simple breakfast of eggs and pancakes and they were PERFECT. Pancakes were good size (2) and eggs tasted great, as well. Although I did not partake, plenty of bar drinks available. Would 100% return for breakfast and look forward to trying lunch and dinner.

Great food and service

By 2802shaza |

If you’re after a great home style cooked meal, this is the place. We had schnitzel pepper gravy, mashed potato and veges and it was simply delicious. Couldn’t even fit in one of their famous shakes or dessert. The meals are huge and just delicious Would highly recommend

Great food and drinks!

By Dgn1010 |

I came here on two occasions during my recent trip to NYC - one for brunch and one for drinks. The staff were so so friendly! I really appreciated them. Huge menu for breakfast/brunch and the cocktails were fun and whimsical (who wants a boring cocktail?) - I have recommended this place to friends visiting and will be back on my next trip.

Perfection

By Darren W |

Found this place on 9th avenue whilst looking for breakfast. Had the avocado on toast option with poached egg. Was absolutely delicious. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Very attentive without being overly so. Clean toilets and nice devour. If you want to escape the tourist traps and enjoy a reasonably priced tasty breakfast you cannot beat this place.

MEGA Chicken & Bacon Waffle

By TheFussyTeenager |

My friend and I visited for a post-theatre meal. I ordered Chicken & Bacon Waffle- the portion size completely astounded me! It was immense- and oh so good. I loved the sweetness of the honey mixed in with the bechamel sauce. Our server was nice.

fun place with great food and service

By MN |

We were on our travels, when we came across this place. It’s really cool with a fun menu. The service and quality of the food was really good!

Brunch

By Ferguson009 |

Great location and we were drawn as there’s not many places to sit outside at this time of year. The beer came in what looked like a heavy vase haha..! The bacon, pancakes and maple syrup was just what the doctor ordered and a good portion for the price. Great place to watch the world go by on our last morning in the city. Staff friendly and welcoming.

Cute Place, Good Food

By Megan F |

Fun atmosphere and quick service. Enjoyed the Peanut butter and chocolate chip French toast on their brunch menu. Adult grilled cheese was good with multiple cheeses plus avocado making a nice combination. Good prices for NYC too!

Another great NYC breakfast

By charleyboy1955 |

We spotted this diner on the map and as it was on the way to where we were heading we decided to call in. Very very busy so we were lucky to get a seat just outside in a covered/heated area. The food was excellent and generous portion sizes. Service was efficient although perhaps a little slower than had we been seated inside. Good value for money.

Best Brunch

By Thomas H |

The pictures and reviews brought us to Mom’s Kitchen and we were not disappointed. The taste of the food was just as amazing as the presentation. My daughter had the Bedrock pancakes which combined her three favorite things, pancakes, fruity pebbles, and berries. I had the chicken and waffles and the sauce on top made this dish killer. Save room for the shakes because they are a masterpiece to just witness. Love this place and is a must visit if you come to NYC.

Loved it

By Foodielovestravel |

Superb brunch, clean, attentive service. We had the macaroni cheese and waffles with chicken, both were delicious, served piping hot and quick service

Okay food

By Christina O |

Diner food with some flare. I got the short rib dinner with mashed potatoes and Mac and cheese. Everything lacked salt. The short ribs were not very tender but decent enough. Mashed potatoes and Mac and cheese lack luster. Husband enjoyed his burger and fries, but nothing extraordinary. They had some fun things on the menu like shakes and specialty brunch items which we would come back and try to give them another shot when we were wanting something on the sweeter side.

Overpriced

By AJLS461 |

We ended up having breakfast here one morning before heading off on a tour from the Row hotel and this was the only place serving breakfast without a big queue. The dishes are large and the prices equally so. $16 for pancakes ( highly decorated) and $13 for potoates and eggs. Overpriced, and not particularly tasty. The service was pleasant.

Crazy NYC Breakfasts

By Rebecca Bolton |

We ended up going twice during our trip to NYC! Yummy, indulgent food. We were there around Halloween and enjoyed some of the themed treats! CRAZY shakes, probably should've had one to share, but hey, when in NYC!

Fun food and ambience

By jennomakeup |

We went here on a Friday morning for breakfast, not knowing what to expect. We ended up getting chicken and waffles, and the fruity pebble pancakes. Both were absolutely delicious. I would not normally get something like fruity pebble pancakes, but we both loved them. Not a meal I will soon forget. Super fun ambience and our waitress was fantastic!

Pancake Burrito.

By john m |

We liked how friendly the staff were and I decided to order a Pancake Burrito which was just what I was looking for, something light to eat while we had happy hour drinks at competitive prices.

Great food

By Lorraine M |

Great atmosphere & great food, although being from Scotland, UK we found the portions HUGE. Our server was Crystal she was lovely and very attentive, I had the cinnamon french toast topped with apples & cream. Absolutely delicious

A grown up Chuck-e-Cheese: Where YOU can be a Kid!

By Jennie T |

I can't believe I waited so long to sing this restaurant's praises. This place is excellent; super fun environment, family-friendly, with comfort food that is as big as your head! I've visited this place three times (Jan & Dec 2023, & Feb 2024), and I don't plan on stopping. Each time made for a joyful experience with the people I ate with. Regardless of whether it was morning or evening, we were sat down quickly and had speedy & polite service. The dining area looks small, yet somehow they know exactly where to place everybody so no one is left waiting for too long. But still be wary of going during the holiday season; I can expect Christmas time to have tons of people wanting to come here, as it offers that bold, yet warm-hearted embrace that makes you feel like a kid again. It follows the "mom theme" with its portraits of famous TV mothers along the wall. There are also several television screens playing popular movies, including Spider Man & Moana. It's impossible to listen to it though, as there is loud music playing throughout the building, but I don't discredit the restaurant for this. I see the movie visuals as more of an added bonus to the childhood aesthetic they are going for. I tried sooo many things on their menu, all of them great, but for the sake of critiquing I'll put the Chicken & Waffles as my least favorite dish. The chicken was spicer than I preferred and had a lot of bone to cut around- it was like I was prepping my meal more than eating it. The Cinnamon French Toast was great, but really REALLY hearty; it was difficult to stomach it all in one sitting. To reiterate: their portions are HUGE! I would not recommend getting an appetizer & an entree if dining alone; unless you were the winner of the 'Nathan's Hot Dog eating contest,' you're going to be taking your food in a to-go bag. My favorite meal was the Bedrock Pancakes, which surprised me. This was the dish that I was most concerned about trying just because having big pancakes with fruity pebbles & whipped cream sounds like a recipe to the hospital. But the sweetness really wasn't overwhelming; I savored the pancake's natural flavor and the cereal complimented it. I still didn't finish it, but I gladly had seconds back at home. But one thing tops all the meals I've had here (so far), something that isn't considered an entree, but I could have three of these in a row and wouldn't get tired: The Cheesy Grits. Not to be confused with the Shrimp Cheesy Grits, because that's different. The grits that only have cheese is my go-to order. It may only be a side dish, but it holds number one in my greedy heart. They're the best grits I've ever had in my life- no exaggeration. They're always fresh and super creamy. They're the reason I never finish my entree, because I promise myself that I MUST finish the grits. Leave no morsel behind! For drinks, I typically order the standard orange juice, which was good and had no pulp. But one time, I tried one of their Bigmouth Shakes: The Rainbow Bright, with vanilla ice cream, fruity pebbles, berry syrup, a lollipop & slice of rainbow cake. I noticed they didn't include the cake with mine, but I already ordered so much it wasn't a big deal. Besides, I theorized that they were making a change to the menu and removing that altogether, but if this isn't true, then this was a blunder on their part. They're just lucky I was already overly-satisfied with the things I had. I think the milkshake is good as a dessert, rather than your primary drink, because then you may feel really bloated with all the sugar & calories you're intaking. This is without a doubt, a place of indulgence. A restaurant that you wouldn't take your friend who's on a strict diet to, because this is place where boundaries are nonexistent. Eat to your heart's content! Kids will love it, and you might too- as long as you don't check the scale... Seriously though, it's a fantastic place to get some quality brunch food, any time of the day. I want to bring more people who haven't experienced, "Mom's Kitchen & Bar" here, so they too can try their awesome specials. It's like a grown up Chuck-e-Cheese, without all the games: It's a place where an you can be a kid.

Great “Before Show” meal.

By Al C |

Great entree choices. Comfort food abounds and you can still eat lite. I had the blackened catfish with grilled veggies and watermelon. See Daniel for excellent service!

Sunday Brunch

By Amanda M |

Fantastic food. My husband had the biggest Burrito going for a breakfast. He didn’t need to eat the rest of the day. Quirky glass for his cider too. Great menu and we were all pleased with our choices. A great find. Go check it out. Great atmosphere too.

Great for breakfast, lunch, brunch

By Vijay P |

Great menu, lots of choices as you would expect Portions can be on the large side so consider sharing if you don’t have a huge appetite! The place is clean, great atmosphere and quick service. Can get busy at weekends but worth the wait Really good and recommended

Retro diner vibes makes for an enjoyable lunch!

By Mark W |

Mom’s is a great spot for comfort food and friendly service. Decent portions and reasonably priced. This place fills up on the weekends. Great retro decor makes for a fun vibe! Definitely will be back!

Good bad fr you food

By Stanley S |

We were pleasantly surprised at how good the food was especially considering some of the different offerings with massive portions and good efficient service kept the place humming. I ordered what a breakfast burrito which was served in a massive maple-infused pancake (eggs, sausage, bacon and cheese) whereas my wife ordered a bagel with pork roll, cheese pepper jam on an everything bagel. Good stuff, yes;good for you, no. Nonetheless, we couldn't finish the portions and glad we decided not to order any sides. The dishes were brought out quickly and were still hot when we finished. I do think, though, the pancake, should have been a bit thinner, because I really had a hard time coming close to finishing it and ate about a half as it was super filling. The staff was friendly and helpful with the prices in line with what you got. The inside was an eclectic, kitchsy style, with no real direction. Overall, a good choice )after leaving a different choiceless, non-attentive restaurant a few blocks away). It may, though, be a good place but probably a one and done.

Don’t Miss Moms Kitchen and Bar

By Mark Sterling |

We visited Moms on Saturday December 10 before going to a Broadway Matinee. It was quite busy, being two weeks prior to Christmas. When seated, we told our server, Chance, that we needed to make the show and he made sure we were quickly served, but never rushed. My wife had the pancake burrito and I had the chicken and waffles. We shared the cookie stand shake. Wow. We were stuffed when we left but happily so. Really good food, service, and atmosphere. We will definitely be back.

Rubbery Pancakes and Not so Great Moment!

By Melonie S |

We visited on a very busy Saturday afternoon and we were lucky to snag a table for two without a wait. Located in Hells Kitchen, this place will continue to do well regardless of my review. I give Mom's high kudos for making creative dishes and not just settling on the norm. However, the creative dishes were to creative for me. With that said, I ordered off the create your own breakfast menu and had the pancakes, two eggs scrambled, and the turkey sausage. My wife ordered the chicken cranberry salad. My pancakes consisted of 2 small/medium pancakes that were rubbery and very tough to cut. Does that mean they were frozen? made with water? I don't know. It was like eating a steak. Touch to cut and chewy. Not fluffy and light. The eggs and turkey bacon were fine. My wife really enjoyed her salad. She said there was lots of chicken in it. Due to how busy it was at Mom's, the floors were dirty and the tables took a while to get cleaned when customers departed. Most concerning was the men's room. No toilet paper. Zero rolls. It's not a good time to find out after you've done your business. There's only one stall and I was in it. There were no paper towels since everything was hands free. Not a great moment. Service was good and friendly. The prices were a tad high but your in NYC so expect it.

Great Service, Great Food, Great Music

By Julie F |

Had dinner here before going to the theatre and a bit pressed for time but our server Dainel was awesome. The minute we told him we were going to the theatre, he took our order and had our food out within 10 minutes! I had the chicken sandwich and side salad with raspberry vinaigrette. DELICIOUS! The "Drink the Rainbow" cocktail was so yummy too. I love sweet drinks(lemonade, watermelon liqueur & skittles infused vodka)! Yes, they actually put skittles in my drink and I fished them out and ate them when my drink was gone! Soooo good! The music they played was great too! I would highly recommend this place if you are in the Hell's Kitchen area.

Best breakfast ever!

By Johnston1795 |

This breakfast was utterly insane. We were recommended this place by a friend and it certainly did not disappoint. The staff were very friendly and the portions were huge! The Chicken Waffles is definitely a game changer, whilst the milkshakes offer a sweet kick that you crave! 110% will be visiting as soon as I’m back in NYC.

Delicious Food and Good Service

By Shertina’s Travel, LLC |

Myself and party of 5 enjoyed everything. We arrived about 5:10pm on a Saturday and we're told that our wait would be 20-30 minutes so we put our name on the wait list and about 20 or so minutes later I received a text that our table for 6 was ready. We had the option of dining indoors or in their outdoor seating area. I like the inside decor and enjoyed watching the delightful dishes being delivered to neighboring tables. I ordered the shrimp and grits as well as the Strawberry Shorty milkshake. My partner ordered the chicken and waffle and shared a portion with me to try. Everything was delicious. I could have used some more shrimp for the amount of grits on my plate but I truly enjoyed what I had. The portion sizes are fantastic so my TIP would be to bring your appetite or be prepared to take some of it with you. I didn’t drink but my dining companions did and they enjoyed the spike hot chocolate and oversized margarita. Our waitress Omani was very nice and provided service with a smile. The women’s bathroom was clean and smelled nice. I plan to return to try something different on the menu.

Super place . Good staff

By alistair h |

Breakfast sandwich and pancakes coffee service all first class . Only one thing the music was very loud for 11 in the morning food was spot on

Very Pleasant Service

By John L |

Not a gourmet spot, by any means, but we stopped in for breakfast one day and it was pretty good. We just had eggs and toast, but there was plenty of seating (which can be hard to find) and the hostess and the waitress were smiling and eager-to-please (not always normal in NYC!) and didn't try to rush us at all. The eggs were cooked to order, and the prices were very good. I would definitely return.

Hearty Breakfast in Hell's Kitchen

By SS |

Mom's is good if you want a huge (YUGE) breakfast and/or outsized breakfast drinks. It's not great food, but it sure is good. I had the Chicken & Bacon Waffle, yummy for sure, but I couldn't eat such food every day. My girlfriend had the Tex Benedict. It was yummy, too. But, really, Mom's serves way too much on a single plate and it's only okay food. Definitely go to Mom's if you're in the neighborhood and very very hungry, and/or crave some drag-kitsch-queer fun served along with your morning grub. Mom's opens early, 7am on weekdays and 8am on weekend, which is what drew me there in the first place.

Must visit

By gm2147 |

Took a short family vacation to NYC. The kids found this place and we all loved it. We loved the decor. Our server Andreas was AWESOME. The food was great and had big portions. We liked it so much. We went back for dinner the night before we left. We had the same great server too. We will visit this place when we come back.

Fantastic Brunch Spot with Great Vibes and Even Better Service

By Shane J |

This was our first meal in New York and it couldn’t have been better. The restaurant is cosy, beautifully decorated and has an awesome retro vibe that really adds to the experience. We received exceptional service from Emerson, who provided great menu recommendations as well as helpful tips on things to do in the city. Your tastebuds will go nuts with the flavors and the portions are huge (sharing is worth considering!) and the kids absolutely loved the hot chocolates. A fantastic spot for a hearty brunch and a brilliant start to our NYC adventure!

You need to go, its superb!

By Donna H |

What a find this was! I had the fruit pebble pancakes and were amazing and my husband had the Chicken, bacon waffles. Everyone needs to go here!

HUGE portions!

By PS |

Great little neighbourhood restaurant on 9th Ave, just far enough from Times Square to feel like a locals place rather than a tourist trap. Good atmosphere, friendly service and HUGE portions. Ate here twice in three nights on a trip to the city and enjoyed it both times. Hope to return.

Liked the decor but food and service was 'okay'.

By Roberts69 |

Stopped at 'Moms' for breakfast one morning whilst in NYC. I really liked the interior of the place, kind of a diner come bar with an original and fun design theme going on. Food wise I had a couple of poached eggs, toast and Taylor ham. It cost US$13 which in my opinion was a little expensive for what I had and my eggs were under-cooked, the yolk was runny as you'd expect but alot of the white was as well, which is a big turn-off for me. If they had stayed in the poacher for another 40 seconds they'd have been perfect. The toast came with 'Strawberry Butter' which was different (a first for me) and quite nice but to me it didn't really go with a savoury breakfast. Service was average, especially considering it wasn't busy. In summary it was all 'okay' but no good enough to have me return another day.

Awesome, friendly & great food and service

By Griffen D |

Popped in for breakfast met with a warm greeting, given first class service and served delicious what's not to like.....thoroughly recommended

Delicious

By Teresa H |

Food was very good. Fun atmosphere. Service was excellent. Steak and eggs were perfect, with salad a great gluten free option. Would highly recommend.

Needed Quick Food!

By Keith B |

Amazing little find. We needed food after a long flight from the U.K. 4 Very hungry people! The restaurant is cool and the waiters / waitress amazing. And the chicken was incredible. I will be back for breakfast tomorrow!

Great atmosphere, food and drink

By GemsyLou89 |

Attended here for brunch, great staff and amazing food. Waffles and chicken were superb, massive portions. An odd mix of ingredients but they work together so well. One of the best meals I had in NYC. Hell’s Kitchen is a great neighbourhood with lots of art work.

GREAT LATE NIGHT SPOT

By playwrite |

Excellent comfort food menu. generous portions of delicious food. Wide assortment. great drink prices. Friendly service.

Amazing brunch and a terrific dinner!

By Brian J |

We visited for brunch a couple of months back and came for dinner the other night. Tasty!!! Our server was friendly and the food was delicious!

Awesome!

By Roses |

Great decor, fun vibe, and killer food! Really happy with all the dishes although the prices tend toward the higher side. Beautifully presented, plenty of options, lovely staff.

Oooo LaLa!

By Voyage537984 |

I have to say...OH WOW! Food was absolutely scrumptious and the portions huge! These decadent milkshakes are unmatchable and over-the-top yum!!! Perfect brunch for the sweet tooth as the Bedrock Pancakes did not disappoint. Personally I like savory and the Tex Benefit definitely satisfied that craving!

Homely and friendly

By Nigel W |

Add a great breakfast/brunch here. Food was good and plentiful but our waitress - Lisa- made it a stand out visit for us. Such a friendly lady and a real plus for the diner. Made us Limeys feel really welcome

Good breakfast

By CentralCATraveler |

Came here twice for breakfast as it was close to the Belvedere Hotel where I was staying. Had the Woodland omelette which was good and came with home fries and sweet potato home fries. The second time I had the Wrap God with chicken and arugula and a salad which was also good. My cousin got the Tex breakfast which she liked. Was crowded on a Saturday, not crowded during the week. Average prices for NYC and friendly service.

Loved it!

By Becky T |

We visited here for my daughters 16th Birthday breakfast on a visit to NYC from the UK. Great decor and atmosphere, super friendly staff, delicious food! We asked for a few changes like soya milk for coffee and no cheese sauce on the chicken and waffles and this was no problem at all. We had a great experience and even bought a mug as a souvenir of Lola’s special birthday breakfast. Highly recommend!!

Lively place

By 𝐴𝑛𝑔𝑒𝑙𝑜 𝐷'𝐴𝑔𝑜𝑠𝑡𝑖𝑛𝑜 🇮🇹 |

New York style atmosphere and convivial spirit, with music and friendly staff, where we had dinner with a very good giant hamburger and the inevitable chips. It is located on the corner of 9th avenue and 48th street.

Great service and Atmosphere

By L778JProbinc |

We had breakfast and the service was fabulous! Alan was our server and he made our morning. Breakfast was served quickly and the coffee was plentiful and good. Music selection was great!

Nice little place

By sabearfan12 |

Went here for breakfast before the Keith Hernandez number retirement game. It’s a quirky place with a fifty’s vacation be, like Moms kitchen…. Wink wink. Wasn’t really busy for a Saturday but definitely picked up. My daughter got the chicken and waffles and I got a breakfast sandwich. Honestly it was too much food for the two of us. Big portions and good prices. Really tasty as well. And the wait staff was friendly and accommodating.

First class food and service in NYC! I wish my mom could cook so good, I'd never leave home!

By Shea M |

The food and service was top class! Wish we came on Friday evening or the 80s disco night. Best food we ate in NYC! The drinks were top quality and value for money.

Mom’s and a Show

By ponytoni21 |

We went up to NYC for the day to see a Broadway show and had brunch at Mom’s Kitchen and Bar. The place had a fun atmosphere with music, throwback decor and tin lunchboxes on the table to hold the silverware, napkins, etc. My friend and I decided on two options to share and both were incredible. The Chicken and Bacon Waffles had a honey drizzle with a cheesy sauce and was to die for. The PB & C French Toast had a chocolate drizzle with mini chocolate chips and mini peanut butter chips. It was sweet but not overly sweet believe it or not - it was a perfect blend. With so many amazing places to eat in the city, it’s hard to go back to the same place twice but Mom’s is a definite repeat, plus there are more items I’d love to try!

Delicious, fresh food

By Rachel Evans |

This place is a modern diner style restaurant. I enjoyed the chicken and waffle and my daughter loved the tomato soup with a side of turkey bacon. The food was fresh and delicious.

Best brunch with neighborhood feel. Highly recommend

By sharon p |

All around great brunch.. love the neighborhood feel. I order shrimp and grits , delicious & so much food I could not finish. Seated promptly, service quick.

Good food and plenty of it

By Bryn Hughes |

Groups of us returned again for daily breakfast for marathon weekend. Big breakfast pancakes and no need to eat until the evening! Friendly staff with coffee refills. See you again next year🗽🏃‍♂️

Fun breakfast menu!

By Rachel C |

We visited Mom's Kitchen for breakfast during a family trip to NYC. The wait staff was super friendly, the menu was fun and we all loved our entrees. Portions are quite generous! One of our daughters had "Bedrock Pancakes" featuring Fruity Pebbles cereal; the other tried the breakfast burrito wrapped in a pancake. My husband had the Tex Benedict (a brisket spin on eggs benedict) and I had a couple of pancakes. They were out of half and half or cream for coffee, but otherwise this was an excellent meal all around.

perfect

By Lea A |

very good place to eat at any time of the day and with everyone (family , friends ,...). Very good service and cleanliness at the top.

Nostalgia meets modern

By LAW1224 |

Adorned with rainbow pride flags, loud classic rock music, and a vaccination card check to dine inside, this is great casual place to eat in Hell's Kitchen. Typical diner fare is served and there were many wait staff to pay attention to your drink orders. We all had hamburgers and fries. They were delicious. For a limited time, they offered a rainbow skittles vodka drink with proceeds going to the Trevor Project.

Best Food!

By Juju |

Stopped here late after our play. I ordered breakfast- loved the Texas toast and breakfast fries. Someone ordered the adult grilled cheese and said it was to die for. Loved that this place was roomy and not so crowded. Also loved our server Cory. He gave us the best service. We will be back. Also they played awesome music!!

Oh what a fun place and Joyful Staff

By LawRockaway |

Our large group had a fabulous lunch at Mom's. We did have a bit of a wait during a busy weekend, but were pleased with the updates on the que. We were seated in a reasonable amount of time. Drinks were fun and the food was delicious. Everyone was able to find something they liked even the picky ones. Our waiter was simply fabulous. He never seemed that we were a bother and was very attentive to our requests. Service was quick and accurate. We appreciated the birthday surprise they brought out for our kids. Would definitely recommend Moms for a fun meal out.

Avocado toast!

By Shufey227 |

Our breakfast was excellent! We had the omelet and avocado toast with a cold brew. The atmosphere is a fun diner vibe with really nice staff. Get the avocado toast!

A Foodie Experience

By cdblues |

What a great unique experience. Did not expect this when we walked in for dinner. The menu is full of great surprises. The portions are huge and so is the price, but well worth it. Service was attentive and fast.

Brunch is amazing!

By Ashley R |

Moms kitchen was a great brunch spot!! Loved the laid back atmosphere. Twists on classic brunch dishes were a hit. Bedrock Pancakes and Chicken & Bacon Waffles were to die for! Portions are large so sharing is an option! Worth the wait!

My new favourite place in NY

By peter s |

Had family breakfast here, based on reviews. They weren't wrong. Fantastic little place, well worth the short walk from Broadway. The pancake burrito was the best thing we've had on this trip. Simple, but very tasty!! Huge portion size too, but powered through. Highly recommend.

Love it here!

By Nilaja C |

For a group of three people, Moms was both delicious and affordable. I got the breakfast sandwich accompanied with a hot girl summer. The drink could've been a bit stronger, but it was tasty as was the food. Both indoor and outdoor dining which is a plus given NYC restaurant restrictions coming up. Definitely will return.

Very average Local

By Bas B |

Whilst staying close by was looking for a local pub, this one was not it. Very average quality food, great selection to choose. Draught beers aplenty but they serve them in these ginormous goblet glasses making drinking cumbersome. Will keep looking thanks.

A good find

By SophieWilliams |

We stumbled across this place & it was a good find. It was a hard choice choosing from the menu. My husband had the pancake burrito & it was so big he couldn’t finish it. But they did give us a doggy bag to take the rest home in. I had the make your own breakfast which was good too, although they gave me the wrong type of bread for the toast but I didn’t mind.

Worth every cent

By Bryn Hughes |

50 of us stayed near moms kitchen for the marathon weekend and lots of us visited for breakfast each day. Highly recommend the breakfast pancakes, huge and tasty and set you up for the day!! My birthday breakfast I was treated to a special shake! Not cheap but you get what you pay for! Breakfast

Brunch and drinks before a show

By Jess T |

My brother and I were looking for a place for brunch before our Sunday matinee Broadway show. Chose this place because of their unique menu and the decently close proximity to the theater district. It did not disappoint. Our server was amazing. She had great recommendations and was very attentive. I ordered the pancake burrito which was very large, but excellent. My brother ordered the breakfast sandwich but has a dairy allergy and they were very accommodating and good with it. For drinks we ordered the hot girl summer (for the flamingo floatie, of course) and the mom-mosa. Both were delicious too. Would happily go back next time I’m in the area.

Great ambience and drinks

By RogerDodger1230 |

We took our kids here before a concert. We had a great experience! The food was good, the drinks were awesome - and the kids loved their milkshakes!

Bad experience

By Brittany F |

The staff huddled in the corners of the restaurant hanging out with each other or playing on their phones. I counted at least 5 staff members, but only one taking care of the entire restaurant….the manager or owner. The coffee tasted old and burned. The bacon was inedible. I literally couldn’t chew it enough to swallow it safely.

Very Welcoming

The staff are happy to see you and very helpful. Good ambience, good food, very clean and child friendly with cartoons playing, crayons and sketches to colour in. We came back a second time both times for an early lunch, good price too.

Super cool

Absolutely amazing restaurant, exactly what you see in the movies from NYC. The staff are super friendly and lovely. Food was great

Amazing food and great service

By JamesHeath76 |

Great place! Friendly atmosphere and cool interior. Portion sizes were huge and the food was amazing. The staff were super friendly and the service was very good. Highly recommended.

Go to MOM'S for great food and a fun time having breakfast.

By traveltheworld012 |

Our first morning in NYC, for this visit. We decided to go to Mom's Kitchen as it was only 3 blocks away from where we were staying in Hell's Kitchen. This is a happy place, everyone was smiling. Fun music was playing. The ambiance was party like but not wild, just fun. Service was great, good coffee too. My wife had Avocado Toast, I had the Shrimp and Cheesy Grits. Both were awesome. Quite pricey, but then what in NYC isn't? We had a great time here. Highly recommended if you are in the Hell's Kitchen area.

Awesome atmosphere

By HanKelly |

We were loving the fun, 90s theme in here. The Michael Jackson music, the vintage lunchboxes, colorful menu and unique menu offering. We split the Bedrock Pancakes pancakes that had the fruity pebble cereal in the mix as well as on top for $17. The pancakes alone were delicious and then they added fruit and whip cream. Our Pancake burrito was a sweet and savory concoction with eggs, bacon, sausage, cheese and syrup rolled into a burrito for $20

Our favourite haunt in New York

By Drumaqueen_MW |

We went here every day of a 5 day visit to New York. As we had fabulous weather, we were able to sit outside and people watch - however when we ate inside, the atmosphere was just as cool. Decorated in a funky diner style, so much attention to detail is given in the presentation of the drinks and food alike. We drew much attention sat outside with our enormous beer glasses! The food was very generous, incredibly tasty and good value Service was great - our server remembered us, and the drinks we had, only the second time we visited. Great fun, atmosphere, even the menu is fun to read Love it!

One of the best breakfasts in NYC

By Stephanie C |

We stayed near Time Square and found it difficult to find somewhere for Breakfast / Brunch which was reasonable and good quality... and then we found Mom’s kitchen. If you are into brunch this is a must, it’s got a cool vibe and the waffles were really tasty! Definitely less expensive than the other American diners you find within Times Square. Only downside is hot drinks - looked for a cappuccino and they only have regular coffee which I still drank no problem.

Brunch and Reminiscing

By Sue S |

Our trip to Mom's was to visit with a cousin whom we'd not seen in years. It was a wonderful place. The food was very good. The Chicken Cranberry salad was large - full of chicken pieces and lots of dried cranberries. The burgers were yummy. And the drinks were super-size. The wait staff were just super - very professional and personable. They were attentive, but not intrusive. We lingered over brunch, sharing family stories and memories.

Good start of the day

The place puts you in a good mood with the good music that greets you at the door and the food ensures that you also leave the door with a full and happy stomach.

Yabba-dabba-delicious

By Mike J |

Fun spot for breakfast a few blocks from Times Square. Love their bedrock pancakes. They also had a special Glenda pancake platter tie in to Wicked. Both were yumilicious! Good vibe, good service, good eats!

Tasty food, great vibe.

By eag1611 |

We had chosen this place as the place we would eat on our first night in NY and it didn't disappoint. Great food, The fried chicken and gravy was great. Service was swift and friendly. Relaxed, laid back vibe. Reasonable price for NYC. would recommend.

Mac and cheese pancakes

By VegasToEssex |

We were hungry for breakfast after an evening of traveling so we decided that Mom’s would be our first stop. We were warmly greeted upon arrival and were quickly seated. Our server was friendly and helpful. Once I saw mac and cheese pancakes on the menu, I had to order it. It was such a unique combination! I couldn’t believe that macaroni noodles were cooked in the pancake batter. Not something to eat everything day due to its richness but a breakfast selection I won’t forget. My husband ordered the avocado on toast and found the flavor combinations a bit too much (not the restaurant’s fault that he likes boring food at times). It would be great if the restaurant served fresh orange juice, especially given its focus on breakfast.

Reasonable prices for New York, but just average food

By JellyrollsKaren |

We stopped here for dinner because it was right around the corner from our hotel. The menu featured a lot of sandwiches, salads, and specialty shakes. The food was good, but nothing spectacular. I got a salad with chicken, cranberries, and goat cheese. There was a lot of grilled chicken on top, but the actual salad was a bit on the small side. I would have liked a little more greens and a little less chicken. My sister got the tomato soup and a side salad. The soup was very thick and filling, and served with a cheese-filled breadstick. The salad was a small, basic side salad. My niece got the adult grilled cheese, which she got with salad. She liked the sandwich, but there was an extra slice of bread in the middle that took away from the sandwich. The restaurant was very very loud. It was hard to carry a conversation because it was so loud. I wouldn't go out of my way to return here, but if I was in the area, I would consider it if I couldn't find someplace better.

Breakfast visit

Saw this restaurant on our walk to the pier to catch our ferry. Good location, the food was ok and service very good.

Nice breakfast

By Liam H |

6 of us ate here and found the food and service very good. I had the breakfast sandwich and found it really nice. Coffee was constantly being topped up and the price was quite reasonable. Would definitely recommend.

A very expensive breakfast

By Rich M |

After seeing the reviews for Mom's I decided to try it when I came in to the city for a overnight stay. First impression was that it was a really cute place. Loved the lunchboxes on all the tables used to hold the napkins and condiments. Also the mason jars as water glasses was a nice touch too. While the food was good but way overpriced. I ordered 2 eggs with bacon and morning potatoes and a side of toast My girlfriend order steak and eggs. She had tea and I had coffee. The bill came to $60 with tip! Unbelievable. While the food was good it was not $60 good. Never again Nice to try new places but not at those prices

Great eating experience and service

By Xstitch Q |

Loved the selection of sides so could get our fill of veggies. Justin was our fantastic server - very friendly and attentive!

Too bad I live in Italy

By Davide P |

The best burger I have eaten. located in Hells Kitchen is discovered by chance I must say that I never expected in addition to the kindness and speed of the staff a truly superior quality to many other attractions that are more downtown.

Great American diner experience, huge portions!

By Daligazan |

We loved this diner, the food was very tasty and the waiting staff were really friendly. Great decor and vibe

Overpriced breakfast

By Rich M |

I know everything in NYC costs more but $60 for breakfast for 2 is crazy. I had eggs and bacon and my girlfriend had steak and eggs. While the food was okay the price was way too high. Nice atmosphere with nice decorations but not worth the price in my opinion.

“Welcome Home”

By PeterCicaleJr |

Come back home to have some of moms good ol’ cooking. She provides a great brunch spot for drinks and food. It takes me back to a kid with an 80’s theme. Enjoy a seat at the counter to eat or while you wait and get one of their specialty dink’s or craft beers. They have a lunch/dinner menu, as well as a healthy alternative options. But their specialty breakfast food is quite the experience. Come hungry and don’t disappoint Mom with by not finishing your plate before you leave. You won’t be disappointed.

Cozy

By gbzayds |

I enjoyed the food I ate here. The wings were big and delicious. The burger was tender and portions were big. They also serve draft beers. The servers were nice. Service was fast, food came in quick.

This is a very good restaurant with good service.

By James A |

12/7/23; Lunch at 1:46 PM; We were seated immediately and got Tomato soup ($12.00) and it was amazing. My wife got the breakfast sandwich ($18.00) and it was also very good. Their coffee ($4.00) apparently had chicory in it and it was amazing. This place is a great place to eat.

Perfect brunch and giant “momosa”

By caughpc |

Perfect brunch after landing in NYC. Extensive breakfast/brunch menu. Must try a “Mom-osa” (or 2). 😋 They’re huge and delicious. Wish I had noted our server’s name. He was outstanding and very patient with our large group coming and going in shifts.

Nice quaint spot just a few blocks from all the hustle of Times Square

Nice quaint spot just a few blocks from all the hustle of Times Square. Good food, nice place to sit down and have a good meal outside of the crazy busyness of the tourist traps.

Good American diner

By ThomasM |

We had breakfast a couple of times. Not disappointed, it is everything you can expect from a diner. Service is good and the interiør is sort of “modern diner” look.

A breakfast for kings

By Ronnenb |

I was looking for a place we can have a good breakfast and I found the perfect place I had the three cinnamon pancakes with apple filling and my daughter had the waffles with chicken, for us it was enough food for breakfast and lunch, we couldn’t finish it although we did want too as it wasn’t only about quantity, the quality was also great To top it up, the service was also good Certainly a place worth coming back too (although I’m not sure the calories count will justify coming back too often)

Tasty breakfast

By davlis |

One of the best breakfasts in our grand tour. This was our final breakfast after a month away in both Mexico and America. I had the chicken and waffles, kids shared the bedrock pancakes and a shake. Really nice and huge portions. A bit pricey but well worth a visit.

Love this place

By casey |

This is a great diner with amazing and delicious food with huge portions and the pancakes were out of this world! Staff were friendly and attentive and cost very reasonable

Amazing avocado on toast

Great food!

By rogeraskins |

What a cool place. Everyone’s food was great. The Mac and cheese pancakes were the best. The apple caramel pancakes were second. The omelette was a good lighter choice. Definitely will return. It’s busy so make sure you get on waitlist.

“Oh Yes”

By Steve300359 |

Highly recommend a visit here, visited on a cold November morning, a warm welcome on arrival, great staff, lovely food. We both had Steak & Eggs ..well it is New York! And shared the best Strawberry Shake ever...a must try. Really nice experience, thanks.

Yummy Saturday brunch!

By az2580 |

Delicious brunch for adult and kiddo. I absolutely loved their heated outdoor space- it was as warm as inside but with the benefit of sunshine and the feeling of being outdoors. Had the avocado toast with poached egg which had some pickled items to give it some crunch. Pancakes were a hit with my kiddo and the overall experience was wonderful. Only downside was there was a long wait- but to be expected on a Saturday in NYC.

Great Family Spot!

By jesusa_nina158 |

Overall, my experience at "Mom's Kitchen & Bar" was great. Our waitress Dana was very nice and got all of the orders correct. The place was immaculate and decorated nicely. The greeting of " Welcome Home!" really emphasized the classic home-style kitchen feel. The food arrived promptly and hot. I enjoyed the twist on the classic grilled cheese that we ordered. The flavors on everything we ordered were spot-on. Service was awesome and we would definitely recommend it!

Birthday Meal at Mom's

By Karen D |

Restaurant is very nice, good ambiance, music was a bit too loud, was there for a friends birthday. Spoke to our waiter, asked if they did something for birthday's and he said yes. We ordered, I spent $8.00 on a tiny bowl of French fries, $4.00 for toast and $6.00 for two eggs. I don't eat meat so l was limited and my choice to stay. The food was served and so was the birthday surprise, who served ice cream with your meal??? Not sure it I'd go back, my choice too.

Great place!

Oh wow. Big plates and delicious food. Large goblets for beer. Absolutely a place I'll return to. Comfort food galore. Super friendly staff to boot.

Better for dinner than brunch

By Kris B |

Didn't like this for brunch. The breakfast/lunch menu was not really enticing. I ended up with the Mac and cheese which was nice but not really what I was after. We had previously been here for dinner and the choices were much nicer. I would try it again for dinner, it was a much better vibe and better menu options at night.

Good vegetarian brunch

By pirateiain |

Had the heavy metal eggs and officially “demolished it” Kept me going for a good few hours. Really friendly staff, too

Not recommended at all!!!!

By Coco |

Industrial and dry pancakes covered with multicolored pastilles and whipped cream! Expedited service and without a smile! In short, the worst experience of our stay in NYC.

Good breakfast

By 150hotelnightsayear |

Excellent staff Good food Interest menu Reasonably priced What else do you want for breakfast? Absolutely recommend it. We sat outside and it was pleasant.

A little disappointed (but we didn't try the shakes)

By David W |

I admit up front that we didn't try the shakes. But we were disappointed. I'd read good reviews but we honestly didn't like the food. We visited on a Tuesday night, and got seated immediately. We had the fried cheese curds and they were very good (I really liked the spicy jam while my wife and daughter did not). I had the chicken and waffles. The chicken was tasty and cooked well, but the waffle itself was average. The honey syrup is a little different but I liked it, but there was very little of it, which seems strange -- a dry waffle with very little syrup. Stranger, to me at least, is that the entire plate was covered with a cheese sauce. It just didn't work. My daughter tried the mac and cheese pancakes, and the same cheese sauce and honey syrup made more sense on that plate, but it just didn't "taste" that great. My wife had the burger and said it was good. We really went in for the shakes, but we had flown in that afternoon and were really tired. Next time in NYC I think we'll stop in for the shakes.

Fabulous service, food & vibe!

By Wagkins0412 |

Fabulous service, food & vibe!! Really fun, super friendly place 😊 French toast & pancakes were delicious! we will certainly be back!

Awesome place...

By Jasmine F |

I have to say that this place is awesome! The environment was fun, and the service was great. I am not a coffee drinker like that, but like a good coffee, and it was super good. They actually use cream. Jonathan was our server, and he did not skip a beat. It's definitely a place to visit if you like hip and fun.

New York

Love the atmosphere, the food and drinks are exquisite!! I would highly recommend a visit. The staff works hard and is helpful

Gotta love Mom

By Mike J |

Made the trek here Sunday morning in the rain, had to try the bedrock pancakes - what a treat, highly recommend! The fruity pebbles and whipped creme, the fresh berries and syrup, great combo. Breakfast sandwich was also good. Cheesy grits were a hit as well. Pork sage sausage good side. Our server Kiana was terrific, too.

Fantastic as usual

Several of our marathon club paid our mandatory visit during marathon weekend. Fantastic food and service and because it’s always my birthday during our visit they brought a cake and sang 😉

Good place!

By GoPlaces782740 |

Good menu, food prepared very well. Service average, maybe above average for such a busy place. Location convenient to Times Square/Broadway folks.

Who’s HUNGRY??!?!

By Sean F |

Very eclectic place in Hells Kitchen that has rocketed to the top of our “NYC Breakfast Must” list. Amazing. Food is excellent, the staff are fun and helpful. There are kids, but it has a great bar too, so you can go there for anything. Got the chicken and bacon waffle…it sort of ruined other waffles for us now forever. I can imagine by the menu that dinner is just as good. Really good.

No one cooks like Mom

By J-Mo613 |

After a early morning flight my friend and I walked the streets looking for an inviting place. Since we were away from home when we saw the sign for Mom’s we thought, how could we go wrong with that! Wow, we were right. Good service, good atmosphere, good portions, great food. Steak. You have to have the steak. Put it on salad, put it by eggs, put it by itself - just put it in your mouth. We went here 3 of our 4 mornings in NYC. I would definitely go back. Thanks Mom!

Fantastic Diner!

By Journeyer78 |

This was a cute dinner with great food and fun names for their menu items. Everyone was very friendly and they were quick to make our food. This is a great place to check out while in the city!

Dinner

By Carina Fonseca |

The food was ok but it is a bit loud and crowded. The waiter that served us was great and super nice and polite. If you want to have a cocktail drink and something not fancy this is the place.

Great breakfast/lunch spot!

By LWes |

Came here on the recommendation of our hotel. Cute place, very unique menu options. Prices are a little high but the portions are very generous. We could have easily split the meals. The shake we ordered was amazing. Looking at all the shakes on nearby tables - you can't go wrong with any of them. It was very busy but the service was great. Glad we came.

Simple yet tasty food

By adventix |

A great place to eat with your young kids. The pasta and mac n' cheese dishes come with fries and my kids love them. I had the avocado toast revamped which was excellent. their milkshakes are very good too.

Great breakfast, coffee and attentive friendly service!

By colleenva |

This is our second time having a wonderful breakfast at Mom’s! We were promptly seated in a comfy area and served good coffee!! We ordered breakfast sandwich, mushroom omelette and English muffin with bacon and blueberry jam!! Definitely recommend this place!!

10/10 recommend pancake burrito

By Crisi C |

Forget about calories and just get the pancake burrito, you will thank yourself later! I wasn't sure what to expect with it but it is delicious! The melted cheese on top and syrup were a delicious salty and sweet combo that paired very nicely with the pancake and scrambled eggs. We started with the fried cheese curds (again, forget about calories) and the spicy pepper jam to dip them in was divine! Obviously not something you would order every day but as a one time vacation breakfast it was a unique and yummy meal! We were seated in their outdoor section which was good Boise wise (inside was so loud!) but we were slightly ignored out there. not complaining as everyone is struggling with staffing right now (we were there before the lunch rush) but just something to keep in mind if you sit outside!

Went for the Fun ass drinks. Stayed for the GREAT food!!

By 5starShelly |

So couldn't get a table here for Sunday Brunch. But was still in town on Monday and met a friend and we were off!I went in there for Slushie Drinks and got distracted by the Gummi Bears on Parade Drink!! Had the Chicken and Bacon Waffle with Guryre Cheese sauce for my chicken and some kind of SPICY syrup for my Bacon waffle. And for whoever gave the bad review and said the food was overpriced? YOU DESERVED that for trying to buy a HAMBURGER IN NYC ANYWAYS!! We are in NEW YORK and at a place that has ridiculous stuff on the menu and SLUSHIE drinks. Eat that crap somewhere else. You better believe I took to the Fruity Pebbles pancakes to go!! Will be back next time we visit. Because I literally SEARCH for places with Slushie drinks!!!

Unique food offerings, but way too loud

By NJ_Diver79 |

We invited some out-of-town friends to meet us for brunch at Mom's. It took a while to be seated, but the hostess was very communicative and friendly while we waited. The eclectic menu offered some interesting choices and we gave some of the more unusual offerings a shot, like the Mac & Cheese Pancakes ($16), which ended up being surprisingly good (and incredibly portioned). The Woodland Omelette ($14) with wild mushrooms was also very tasty and stuffed with oozing cheese and came with a side salad of greens in a tasty vinaigrette. The Pancake Burrito ($17) was another entree a member of our group enjoyed while the kids tried the classic pancakes with bacon and eggs. The hot chocolates had a mountain of whipped cream and were drizzled with chocolate syrup and the kids really enjoyed them. I have two complaints: the music was overwhelmingly (and unnecessarily) loud making conversation very difficult. While our waitress was very friendly and attentive, she didn't offer up the kids menus (which I later found online) and would have saved us some money on the bill. Mom's was unique and fun and the kind of place that would be a treat but not a staple, go-to location.

Super place, lovely vibe

Super place, easy options for breakfast (not a mountain of food either, just right). Alan charming and helpful FOH

No outside dinks…

By Kelly B |

We found this place on Trip Advisor and had high expectations. It was a 10 minute cab ride away, so we hoped it was worth the trip. We arrived and was told it would be a 45 minute wait. We asked if we could purchase a coffee to enjoy while we wait, but the hostess said that wasn’t possible and inferred we could get coffee elsewhere. We walked down the block spent $10.00 on coffees to enjoy while we waited. We were alerted our table was ready after about 20 minutes. To our surprise the same hostess who had suggested we get coffee elsewhere told us we could not bring our coffees “outside drinks” into the restaurant. I get the policy, but I wish the hostess would have told us “if you get coffee elsewhere you won’t be able to bring it in”. We would have purchased from them, but wasn’t able to. I’m fairly certain another couple had exact same situation, since they had exact same reply when they were asked to throw away their flavored. We enjoyed the chicken and waffles, the chicken sandwich, the chocolate chip pancakes and kids chicken fingers… all was great. I even had spiced liquor coffee. Everything was great, service was okay- they came to refill our glasses once. (Coffee and water). I really think it’s a nice and fun place and would go back, but couldn’t give 5 stars after we had a bad taste over the wasted coffee situation that easily could have been avoided.

Top effort everyone!

Lunch and a shake for the family on our last afternoon before heading home to Edinburgh. Excellent and friendly service and a great casual vibe going on. Staff prepping for Halloween with some brilliant artwork on the windows. Thanks everyone for looking after us !

Awesome menu

We picked this place at random - it turned out to be a pleasant surprise. The menu had a lot of unique options, and the shakes were great. Everything was on the pricier side, but most of it was worth it. Good service and great atmosphere.

Good Food

By Iainthomas39 |

We went for brunch with our 17 year old son. Good sized meals, great service and he loved the huge milk shake. Nice retro decor and lots of space. Good atmosphere. It was slightly on the expensive side hence the 4* but would go again.

Great atmosphere! Great food!

By BobbieCupcake |

We were looking for outside dining where we could people watch. They had sidewalk tables. Perfect! The bonus was that the food was fantastic. Everyone loved their food! All three of us loved everything we ordered. I had never had Mexican Street Corn - it was great! The French fries were a very small portion, however, but we still had more than enough food.

Came for the food, stayed for the ambiance

By Boro1507 |

Such a great little find, we came here for breakfast to try it based on the reviews. The food was great, my wife ordered the avocado toast with Lox and she was not disappointed, it was amazing and so many flavors! I ordered the breakfast sandwich and it was good, just missed something in the flavor, but I had no difficulty finishing the whole thing. Loved the home fries on the side, sweet potatoes are my favorite. The whole ambiance tho is just a delight, all kinds of 80s retro memorabilia around to enjoy while you eat and visit, wait staff was very helpful and prompt, and just a fun, welcoming atmosphere all around.

Fantastic food. Great service. Hip atmosphere.

By gbrad222 |

Really good service with fantastic food and a cool atmosphere. We brought our four girls here and they were super accommodating and our girls loved the food. The fried chicken burger was perfect! Would definitely recommend whenever in Hell’s Kitchen.

Descent Breakfast Place

By purpleij |

Breakfast for 2 cost us approx $50. We had 2 egg sandwiches with coffee and a side of bacon. A little pricey but I guess not by New York standards. The food was average to good, waitress service good and friendly. The outdoor seating didn’t look too clean. Not sure if I would go back but the place was packed.

Great Place For Meetups and Pre or Post Cruise Meal

By twin123185 |

Three blocks east from pier 88 this was effect for me meeting friends before my cruise. Very lively Sunday brunch at 10:00. Food was very good and it’s rare to see pork toll in a NYC restaurant.

Fun diner with good food drinks and service

By markostanley |

Quirky place with good food options, solid no nonsense service. Enjoyed a family dinner here while on a trip to New York. Would return again. Only downside - the large beer glasses are super awkward to hold (but clearly these are first world problems!) Would return.

Friendly service and great breakfast

By Traceyyt |

My sons and I came here for our first breakfast in the city. We were cheerfully greeted and seated promptly. I had a mimosa, and the server happily honored my request for grapefruit juice instead of orange juice. My older son had a hot tea based breakfast cocktail, and my younger one had one of the amazing milkshakes. All of us loved our food as well. If I was a local, I'd frequent this place.

Excellent food and service

Howdy partners! I was staying corner of W47 and Times Square and fancied a break from the street hussle. Found this place for breakfast - queue outside, so a good sign. Came back with family for a nice evening meal, excellent service and food. Signed Limey Paul

Over priced food

By vickiaj1961 |

Over priced food that was not really that great. My hamburger was dry and overdone. My husband had the steak salad and was unimpressed. A milkshake was very good but small and overpriced. Not impressed
