Good but not great and kind of expensive for Ramen

By Melissa M |

I had the chicken ramen. It was good, not great. The portion was large but the price comes with it. I got it to go and they seemed kind of annoyed by that but were pleasant enough. Not sure I will be back.

Best Ramen I've ever had!

I had the dan dan ramen and cannot stress enough that if you are in Brooklyn that you travel here for a bite, the menus are very easy to understand if you are a ramen virgin. 10/10!

Great veggie ramen

the place could be hidden in any city. The veggie ramen is one of the great. nice balances between spices. Soft and tasty.

Delicious Ramen. Will return!

Was in Brooklyn to watch a play at BAM. Walked over to 5th Avenue for something lite to eat and decided to try out this place. So many noodle dishes to choose from. I was happy with my Laksa Curry Noodle! Order if you like fish balls, fish sauce and coconut. Will come back to try other noodle dishes. They recommend Dan Dan Noodle, Dan Dan Ramen, dumplings, Then Thuk. They accept credit cards.

Small spot and quick service

This is a really small spot in Brooklyn that really hit the spot on a cold, rainy NYC day. Service was really quick and can say that the stir-fried udon was very good.

Great noodles and pork soup dumplings

By latriciaf66 |

Well we stumbled across mono ramen while visiting Manhattan and just jumped on the next train and ended up in Brooklyn. We certainly can’t get good pork soup dumplings in SLC. What a treat and we ate under 25.00!! We will certainly be back.

A hidden gem with delicious food

This is a small little restaurant on 5th Ave in Brooklyn. Wonderful dumplings and soups, great options! Very friendly service. Bring your own beer or wine.

Average Neighborhood Option

It was pouring outside and I was naturally craving ramen or some form of noodles and soup. Momo Ramen was open (around 3) while everywhere else was closed for dinner. It was a good find, easy and fast. The vegetarian ramen was a bit salty for me (I rarely use salt to season) but my friend loved her pork ramen and said it was tasty. Go here for no frills ramen, but don't expect to be mind blown, at least for the vegetarian options.

Top Quality and fast.

Dan Dan Noodles! So good and fast! Add all the extras, it's beyond worth it. Scallion pancake, Kimchi, and Seaweed salad are also great.

Flavorful Broths...and Excellent, Timely Service!

My fiancé is a lover and connoisseur of all things Japanese, so Ramen was on our itinerary for every day! On our first day in town, we ate at Momo Ramen for lunch...and it was delightful! He enjoyed the Tonkotsu Ramen and I had the Dan Dan - which had a rich beef broth with peanut sauce and chili paste and oil added. What an incredible depth of flavor! I thoroughly enjoyed it. The prices were more than reasonable and the service was excellent! We'll definitely be back...soon!

Decent ramen

Came here with a group of 2, had no issues getting seated. Staff was friendly. Had their miso ramen with chashu. The noodles were good. Compared to other ramen shops, I thought the soup base lacked in depth and miso flavor. All the ingredients were fairly standard and tasty. We were visiting Barclay Center and needed a place to eat. I would not make a special trip out here just for this place but it's decent. Overall I would give them a solid 3.5

Good Ramen!

I like ramen. Like a lot. So I was ecstatic when another ramen place opened up along my daily route. And the ramen here is pretty darn good. First the broth has really good flavor, I didn't find it too salty, and there is honestly great depth to the flavor, at least from the momo ramen and the dan dan ramen I have tried. The noodles are my favorite consistency, and the toppings were great too. The hot oil wontons are great too actually. The wontons themselves are good, but in that soy saucey oily hot oil sauce, they were honestly really tasty. The soup dumplings I had were pretty good too. The dough was a little thick to my preference, but hey soup dumplings will be like that, and the filling and soup was great.

Very good ramen.

Reasonably priced, excellent and authentic ramen. The ramen includes a nice array of vegetables, lean meat and egg in addition to the noodles so it will fill you up. Perfect for a cool day when you need to warm up.

Ramen craving on a hot summer night

First time won't be the last. Has the house Momo Ramen, just simply delicious! Low key and friendly service, did not make me feel awkward eating solo.
