Small hole-in-the-wall restaurant with limited parking but excellent dishes - sushi and other dishes. Good service.

We had the broccoli appetizer, eggplant, shrimp Katzu, miso ramen. All excellent. Super fast service. This will continue to be a regular haunt....

Excellent sushi and BIG portions. Creative menu but all the basics are there too. Quick friendly service. Tables may be a tad close and outdoor patio needs some decorating love. But who cares?! Food is excellent.

This was my favorite place before yesterday… the original format was tipless, cashless, touchless… in few words was an easy place with a great chef and outstanding quality for a great prices. I don’t know what’s happened in the last 2 months, but everything changed. Now it’s a normal restaurant, with waitresses, 18% tip automatically added in the check, a paper menu without photos and very very very BAD quality for super high prices! We spent almost 200$ (2 adults and 2 kids) no wine, just one sangria glass. We got 3 set of simple rolls, 2 grilled salmon with white rice, 1 tuna tartare (that was not a tartare) and that’s it!!!! (…and of course water). The fish was absolutely disgusting. I feel bad for the guy that served us because he was a nice and very gentle guy, but I hope this review could help others to not be scammed thinking that this place is the same cool and good place like it was until the first week of June! Stay away..

I came here with my family, it was so amazing, I had the pleasure of meeting, the most beautiful person Mikee, she took care of our reservation, we are a big family, and she took care of everything, we loved her! She made us feel like family, outside patio is so big! If u are in Miami! You have to hit this place up , but make sure ur just is Mikeeeee! She is an Angel!

We actually had dinner at the Brickel location at 1744 SW Third. The outdoor seating was perfect & quiet. Food served was all very tasty especially the miso soup. No complaints whatsoever. Highly recommend a meal here if in the Miami Brickel area.

As said , local sushi for me , always ecellent and even though the staff changes frequently , always polite and helpful

It's a nice place, good food, quality and service. For family or friends, it's open until late. Unfortunately, they don't deliver

This is my neighborhood restaurant , can always find great food , fresh sushi and hearty soups ... The quality has sadly gone down with there new found following and parking has become difficult with a 5 dollar price tag ..

We love all food served. Dragon roll was success. Good attention. Very recommended for all family and every ocassion

During my stay at Vagabond Motel, was just yearning for some good food and JACKPOT, amazing sushi restaurant. Food was amazing, you can eat in or takeout and the best part...ITS OPEN TILL 5 AM!! Can't go hungry.

Really enjoyed our lunch. Fast service. Super nice staff. Delicious food. Only fault was that 10 minutes after eating both my partner and had to run to the loo! Shame

I love moshi moshi. When I lived in miami lived near the restaurant and almost every night I would go there to eat or get take away sushi. My favorite was the salmon skin roll roll. The waitresses are very kind and the atmosphere is really quiet. I recommend it to all true lovers of sushi. One day when I return to my Miami will be back, for sure.

The food was very nice, and deserves a 4 out of 5. The portions are quite small. But the quality is there. However, over one hundred dollars for two is a bit much. For the pric, this is a 2 out of 5. The staff is very good, but the restaurant itself is not top quality. Basic tables and seating arrangement. If you are not fussed about paying over the top for diner... great place to go to.

We had a nice dinner here today. Ordered a lot of food and everything came out fast and correctly. They were accommodating to our group of 10. Sabrina our waitress was very nice and helpful. Food was good. Rolls were a bit big and lots of rice. But not bad!

I've only ever ordered to go here but it has become my go to sushi spot. The sushi is always quality and I think the portions are good. Their specialty rolls are amazing and worth the money. They are much more filling than the regular rolls. I think it is reasonably priced, especially for Miami. I usually end up spending about $70-80 for two people (3 specialty rolls, sashimi and 1 regular roll) but we never finish all the food we get.

Went to the restaurant a Friday evening and had very good sushi. The service was good and the patio was nice. However, the valet parking was not a good experience. We had no singles and wanted to get a 19 dollar bill changed, but got only 5 dollar bills back and wa told thaf they didn’t have any singles. Since they didn’t want to collaborate, we left without giving them tips and will never use their valet again.

Cheap and delicious Japanese food, in a very casual setting, with a very friendly staff. Highly recommend the Ika Butter (grilled squid with a delicious sauce) and the soft shell crab. Rolls are very good and not expensive. A place to go over and over, for locals.

great sushi at MIMO district, valet parking available friendly service and extended menu selection, mi partner really liked the pork Ramen like, we rjoued a wide range of rolls also very very good the banana split dessert, highly raccomended.

Just got back from having lunch with my wife and son. After we finished eating a good but not more than average sushi we asked for the bill (USD100 without tip). As soon as we paid (not even 5') first the waitress then who I assume is the owner, started putting pressure to make us leave because there were a couple of customers waiting. They first asked for one of the tables (???), so they could accommodate one of the waiting customers but I assume they expected one of us to stand up. We still had our drinks unfinished. Never in my life, I have passed a situation like this. Absolut bad manners and cheap attitude. Just another thing, the food came really quick. So it was already prepared....not made fresh just in time like proper sushi. good luck hope you have a better experience.

I had a salmon roll there and it tasted poorly. The salmon had a weird taste and the rice was good. I went once and I hope it tastes better when I come again.

This was a nice spot. The workers were nice, the food was okay. The design was really pretty, it’s a nice set up. The place was clean but the bathroom wasn’t too clean. The tables were too close to each other. I was super excited to try this place I can honestly say it was a nice experience.

I come here when I get out of work late and don’t have time to cook. Due to my condition I can’t only eat the steak here with just salt and pepper but they are so nice and caring. All the staff pay attention to all details especially my allergies.. come enjoy a good meal with great service.

I am not really into Sushi but I really enjoyed the food here. The service was first rate and the quality was outstanding. I would definitely rate this place in the superior category. The only downside is the lack of parking. It only has 5 or 6 spaces out front and if those are occupied you will have to hunt for parking spaces on the side streets...and at night the area is a little creepy....probably an unfair impression but that's the way I felt and I was a little hesitant to leave my car parked on the side street but I said what the hell and left it there with no problems. Go to this place you will like the food and service.

Great sushi, Sashimi and Sake, this place is open till 5:00 Am, great for hospitality employee since we work late hours! Staff is friendly but fast. They just remodeled the litte terrace! Love this neighborhood gem!

Our Air B&B host recommended this sushi restaurant and we were happy that she did! Delicious sushi and the portions were so generous that we could not eat everything.

This place is open all night and was recommended by hotel staff at a nearby hotel I stayed at since it was after midnight when I arrived. I was kind of nervous because the place wasn't the tidiest. It wasn't gross or anything but the bathroom looked like nobody had been in there to pick up for a few days. (Water all over the counter, toilet paper laying all over the floor, hardly any TP left.) But the food was DELICIOUS. I ordered the tempura veggies and shared beef fried rice and that was the best fried rice of my life. If they delivered I would've had it a second night!

We visited late on a Saturday night and were able to find a seat right away even though it was pretty full. First of all, the place was hot and uncomfortable. Then, the table they sat us in was terribly small, And this was very obvious when our entrees arrived and they couldn't fit them on the table. The servers seemed overwhelmed by the number of people or were just not in a friendly mood. Overall, the food was pretty good and fresh but it's lost in the little care the staff showed its customers.

Well it is another Japanese-like restaurant in Miami. The presentation is really nice, when you see the dishes you really think: "this must be amazing!" And it is not. Actually it turns out that taste, flavors and texture are far from amazing. 1) we order a hot dish with fish and rice. There was nothing warm about the dish. Including the fish. I don't know about you, but to me it seems that the food was already done. Ok! I get it! "The rice was ready", "it's a sushi place", bla, bla. Well, when you order a hot food, you should expect a hot food, right? It was not. It actually tasted a little sour and it was almost cold. 2) the sushi... ahhh the sushi... They look great and the portion is huge! Awesome, right? Nope. It tastes common. As matter of fact, some buffets might offer a better tasting experience. 3) the noodles! Don't waste your time or, if you do, don't think that is Japanese. It is not. 4) and the desert? Then we get to the amazing part. It was really, really, really impressively amazing. But... this is not a pastry shop, right? 5) Price? It matches their quality: not expensive, not good. Overall: it is a place open until 5AM with "ok" price and food. Don't overestimate them. I did that. I was expecting a lot and I got a lot less than that. Don't expect too much, pretend you've never eaten Japanese food, and you will be fine.

Nice fresh sushi. Very friendly little neighborhood Japanese restaurant . Very consistent. I have never had a bad meal here.

This was a great little place a few steps from our motel. We decided to have dinner there and it was a good choice. The sushi was fresh and tasty and the ramen was soooo good!

Good sushi, but in comparison to other places, it's not the most cutting edge joint It was a little awkward because I read about this place serving ramen, and arrived here only to realize they mostly serve sushi here. If that's what you want, awesome, but they don't serve anything else here.

Since my only experience with Japanese food was in Seattle, I compared this Moshi to the Seattle experience. Rather disappointing. The Pork Ramin was good with many noodles and slices of pork. The steak teriyaki was not so good. Steak was cooked to order, teriyaki sauce was lacking in taste plus the steak was not hot. Their menu included their lunch specials even on Saturday so the portions were right on. The spicy cabbage was tasty, salad was fresh and attractive. To me rice is rice. The food was presented in a boxed tray which was different. The service was standard. The restaurant was clean. Parking valet. Adequate for a light lunch.

Order my food thru Uber eats the steamed spicy shrimp wonton and both orders arrived cold can u guys fix this

I've been to Moshi Moshi twice. The food is excellent and the service impeccable. The plus is that the price (especially compared to the outrageous costs of certain Miami restaurants) is absolutely convenient. We spent around 40/50 dollars per person, tips included.

Food is fresh, people and service very nice. Very convenient if you want to have good food late hours (stay open until 5AM). Try the Dragon rolls.

Henry was a fantastic server and we really loved all the dishes, especially the Mimo Signature Roll and Mochi ice cream as recommended by the lovely Maitre De.

Having been a customer for many years of their original Miami Beach location on Washington ave I was very happy to now have them in midtown on Biscayne blvd because this location is more conveniently located for me and parking is easier than on Miami Beach. Here the sushi options are just as good and the other menu options are also nicely prepared,I particularly like the soups and do save room for dessert because their moshi ice cream among other options is quite nice and can be shared. Sake selections are extensive and I do recommend checking out their choices for anyone who wants to get away from the everyday hot sake all other sushi restaurants offer. I would like to mention the very attentive and professional service we receive from Xuilan (I do hope I spelled her name correctly!) ... she always makes us feel special and it's the main reason we visit this newer location more often, thank you Xuilan, you're so sweet! I definitely will recommend Moshi Moshi to all for good sushi, great sakes and kind service!

We tried this restaurant through Uber eats The food came in an expected time The portions were decent The side sauces and small salads were cute and tasty The prices are a bit high Unfortunately there was no wow factor ... The chicken teriyaki was burnt and dried and they served the sauce on the side ... why!!! The green dragon roll with brown rice was decent , very thin but decent Chicken cutlet or as they called it chicken raksu was decent but they didn’t slice the chicken and just served this giant piece of chicken in a dish! You gotta slice it man! The shrimp tempura was nice Happy eating

We are very picky when it comes to sushi and Asian cuisine but Moshi Moshi was very good! We enjoyed everything we had and the cost of the meal was excellent value for money. $55 for a dinner for two with a bottle of sake included. Beware though - it is always packed. Another good thing is that they have complimentary valet service which is a good thing for a restaurant on the busy Biscayne Blvd. Enjoy...

I did not have to travel somewhere else to have a taste of their specialties. It's really worth the walk (just kidding, it's just a block). Anyway, I think it's a good combination of Japan's sushi/sashimi and Latin America's ceviche. That's why I never missed our version of ceviche called POKI. And of course, the super delicious ,super cheap Bento box lunches. Thanks to all the recommendations of the Hotel Mimo staff. They should be getting some discount when they eat here because they do a very good endorsement.

Really good food and wonderful Staff! We orderd sushi, it was amazing. And as soon as the waterglas was empty they ran to fill them up!

I came to Moshi Moshi MiMo with some of my friends the other day. The food was really good and we were sat promptly as we were a large group. They have good special rolls and large portions for a reasonable price. However, although the staff was attentive The food came out late and at different times for each person, so much so that someone could finish their entrée before someone else got their food. All in all the food was fresh and good but the service could have been better.

One of the most delicious eel I have tasted! Friendly and welcoming staff. Nice outside and inside seating. Just do not order the half lobster- it is definitely not the star in the menu.

Great combination between excellent sushi, great pricing and generous portions. Place is a bit small and getting a table can be a challenge but it is worth the wait.

Cute restaurant, good ambiance, family friendly and very polite. The food is very good. The sushi negiri was big, properly sliced, and tasted great. The king crab and avocado was excellent and my kids love the fried rice. We have tried many things on the menu and were not disappointed. Food comes fast so kids don't get antsy. In the Miami world of overpriced, poor quality Japanese food, I would consider this a great find. For you late night people, "open till 5am". Take out is quick and painless. I would have given them a 4.5 but parking is tough and there are only 4 spots in front. Have to park on one of the side streets.

Susi place - we had dinner one night because of good location, close to our accommodation. It was OK.

I have to say this may have been the best sushi I’ve had so a far since recently moving from CT to MIA. It’s so good!! And the price for portion is perfect and a reasonable size! Highly recommend

Food was ok, nothing impressive. The service was rude and not helpful. Finally way overprice for the quality!!!!!!!!!!

Moshi Moshi has 3 locations (South Beach, Coral Way, Biscayne Blvd.) and its concept is based on "Izakaya" which means an informal Japanese style restaurant but with a relaxed atmosphere like an Irish pub or an American bar. It has a great variety of soups with noodles, sushi and other Asian specialties. It is a good option for a lunch and opens everyday from 12:00 am to 5:00 pm.

Great food had a very nice Seafood Ramen Soup , service and price are great as well and just a few steps away form the Zenmotel Mimo

The food was great. The service was good, but i understand considering it's lunch time and everyone wants to order at once. The overall experience was nice.

This restaurant was recommended by the hotel and it was great! Sushi was delicious, reasonable prices, friendly staff.

Locals Spot that must be visited! Plenty of staff on hand to attend to your needs. Plentiful & Delicious plates. Sushi was Fabulous! Plenty of parking in rear of locale too! GetSome!!

The places has great reviews online. Maybe we are to spoiled with Japanese food in our area. We thought Miami Beach, Japanese??!! Thus has to be good. Nooooo 🥺🤦🏻♀️ The food was ok. Nothing special. Pricey for what it was. Service was not what you would thought. Maybe this is what Miami Beach style is, no thank you, not for us. Sushi was ok, better choices elsewhere. Curry was salty and presentation awful! Soups looked and felt like regular noodle “hispanic soup” not Japanese soup. I asked for hoisin sauce and waiter and the supervisor act like what was asked was an imposible miracle something never heard of. Lol 🤣 No kindness, place cleanliness is questionable. Again, perhaps this is the norm here in this area. I was just expecting much more. No, wouldn't recommend it to any of my family or friends. 🤷🏻♀️ The area around looks nice and appealing, though.

I go there often with my boyfriend. He hated sushi until he tried moshi moshi, so that gives a clue.... The miso soup is really good. You must try the noodles with chicken as well. Another good thing, it does not matter what time is it if you went out late, it is open until 5 am!

The portions are nowhere near what they used to be, the staff is what makes Moshi Moshi special and at least that has not changed. However the prices have increased while the portions have shrunk- Also it seems that the quality of the fish has been downgraded a level.

Good Japanese Restaurant in Miami. Service is nice and its open until late at night. Which is very convenient. I recommend.

My wife goes every week to this place and I go whenever I can, the food is excellent and the service is very good. Parking is a bit of a hassle but there are pay meters around the corner. I love the fried rice with shrimps and also any of the rolls, all of them are superb. I try a different one every time I go. So far I love the crunchy tempura

we been here with friends.l am the sushi lover and I found here Nice fresh sushi. big portion. delicious . Very friendly little neighborhood Japanese restaurant . Very consistent.
Bento Box" Bueno"
We enjoyed a delicious Bento Box luncheon today. Our choice for the main item was the salmon and it was great. For my additional item I selected the steamed steak gyoza and it too was very good. The price was reasonable so I'll be back again soon.
