Excellent Wings!

By travelingduo8 |

Visited Mudville 9 with a colleague after it was recommended to us by some coworkers. The service was excellent and the food came out hot and quick. We had wings and mozarella sticks which were both amazing. The wings were especially good and larger than what you typically expect for a chicken wing. The establishment is a bit cozy so it is loud as one would expect. They have multiple TVs with games on that patrons can view from any seat in the house. I would recommend the restaurant to others and definitely see myself coming back for the wings again!

Not what I expected

By Michael A |

I saw this from my hotel room, so I thought I'd walk in and give it ago. Whislt I sat down and looked at the menu, It felt more like a Bar rather then a restaurant, This made me feel uncomfortable so I left. The menu had a fair bit of varitey and from what I saw others eating, it looked like a good spot to eat, So if you can bear the Bar like setting, Id recommend it.

Didn't even get to order.

By EMcG88 |

My husband and I recently stayed at the Cosmo hotel directly across the street and had a craving for wings, so we walked across the street to the Mudville 9. It was a Friday night so understandably it was very busy inside. However, there was no hostess and after waiting five minutes for someone to come up to us, we saw an empty booth and sat down. A waitress came to take our order then stopped and asked if we had been sat here, and we said we hadn't, she left and came back to say the table was reserved and that she will find somewhere else for us to sit. Sounded reasonable. We were sat at another empty table, the waitress came to ask if we need more time to look at the menu, we said "yes", and as we were about to order a different lady came up to us to tell us the other waitress had made a mistake and that the table we were now sitting at was reserved as well. No one made an effort to ask us to wait for another table or sit at the bar, we obviously were not welcome at this restaurant. Owning a business that has good food may be half of the golden ticket, but customer service is the other half and this place is certainly lacking in that department.

Cosy restaurant

It's a bit noisy. There were many LCD to wacht the Olympic Games. Try the Ribs!!. Also chicken with vegetables

Mudville

By Michelle W |

Cool bar and the chicken wings were the apparent favorite of all who went there. One patron said "one of the top places for wings in NY". The table next to us was sharing a plate of 30 wings. My husband ordered some and said they were pretty yummy! I enjoyed their drinks:)

Not enough time

By vagabondginger |

The location is near the Freedom Tower and Brooklyn Bridge. I had been walking around and was looking for a cold beer so I can only mention the Saloon part. I bellied up to the bar & picked something I liked off the backboard listing of craft beers. It had a good atmosphere and is a family owned business since 1977. Before long I got a phone call from a friend who was just getting off the Metro to meet me so I had to go. But the place looked promising as a good local hangout as well as a place for tourists to quench their thirst like I did.

Real Beer, Proper Food

By Quinny-Bobble |

If you saw it in day light you'd probably walk past it but it was fab. The service was friendly, quick and helpful. Loads of beers to choose from and just the kind of grub you need to sop it up. It was a bit noisy but it is a sports bar so what do you expect?!

Sports bar with great food!

By Carolyn N |

If you want to watch the game but still seem as though you are paying attention to the conversation, then this is the bar for you! There are screens in every direction you look, enabling you to talk to your companions while still keeping an eye on the game. They keep the sound on for the game, and turn music on for the commentary - perfect mix! And of course, it doesn't hurt that the food is priced well and amazingly good! (I'd recommend the buffalo wings with buffalo sauce.)

Still some of the best buffalo wings in NYC!

By jasher |

Despite having to make the trek for pickup as my friend's new apartment is no longer in Mudville's delivery zone, this is still one of our favourite places for buffalo wings in New York. The wide variety of sauces (buffalo-style from mild to flaming hot, plus plenty of non-buffalo options) and both traditional and boneless wings mean that everyone can customize to get his or her personal buffalo wing experience. Asking for a few extra tubs of tangy bleu cheese with our takeout was a good move. One thing that we should have remembered doesn't travel well is the seasoned fries (to be fair, fried in general do not travel well as they tend to become soggy) - they're great to eat in the restaurant, but would recommend leaving them off the takeout order. Service is very fast and efficient.

Love, love, love this place!

By nezza28 |

I first went to Mudville about 4 years ago with friends and we were so taken with it on that trip that we went there 3 times! I have returned here religiously each time I have been back to New York since and the quality has never once suffered in that time. The food is always top quality and the wings are the specialty here! There are 5 or 6 levels of heat to choose from depending on whether you are a chilli head or not. I always go for the hottest level (Buffalo Super Wow!) which provide great heat but unlike many places without sacrificing the flavour. The pulled pork sandwich is also great as is the homemade coleslaw. Its always a great place to go but it comes into its own on a Sunday for the NFL. The atmosphere is buzzing and because of their multitude of screens and ability to show EVERY game concurrently you get fans of all teams attending. Definitely my go to NYC bar!

Great bar/restaurant. Got

By Trevor T |

Great bar/restaurant. Got there just after 4.30 on a Friday and by 5.30 it was packed. Great food and great music. Positive Force, Marvin Gaye, Parliament, James Brown and other Soul and funk tracks were being played, my kinda place.👍 Had the Mozzarella and Sliders to start followed by the Cobb Salad and Steak sandwich.

fun sports bar

By kdmc0408 |

popular with locals - it was fun to watch a NY Giants football game there. the sound was kind of loud.

Noisy but great atmosphere

By Jackie L |

We popped in forc a burger but a big game was on so the place was very noisy and busy. However they fitted us in and we ordered burgers. They tasted great but were a little over cooked . The macaroni was really tasty but the highlight was the wings! They were awesome.

Fun and delicious

By HayleyBMuncyPA |

We were in town on a Monday night during the World Series and got to have front and center seats to the baseball game with the football game on the tvs to the side. Great beer selection and the ribs fell off the bone. Bartender was a bit dry and not much fun, but otherwise this was a great choice!

Good Quantity, Decent Quality

By georgeoliverwong |

I went to Mudville to watch Thursday Night Football, and they have a great Wing Ding special of all you can eat wings and two growlers of beer for something like 30 bucks. Not the best wings, but pretty good.

Great pub food and beer.

By David K |

I didn't want to even go into this place. It's quite dumpy from the outside but after getting in there with some colleagues, it was surprised. They have a good beer menu and the pub food was actually very good. Great place just to hang out and socialize. I would definitely go back. Good service too.

Service double-charged

By petetera |

Went here last week - food and service good but service was included explicitly in the bill - all fine so I put the inclusive total on the credit card check and signed it. I then checked my credit card account the next day to find a further 20% had been charged on top. That really made me angry as there was no ambiguity about the bill - I consider it straightforward theft.

Best Wings

By laraicecream |

We had a lot of wings, some spicy some not. They were all great. Fries were great, i left my bag and they find it and they gave me 1 hour later. That was great. Also i liked to there were lots of sauces to pick from/

Delicious!

By Isa Douwes |

I had the BBQ Burger and it was amazing. The burger was at least 6 inches tall and it was put together so well. All the flavors just went together perfectly. And the things that I may even have liked better that the burger were the fries. You could see they were handcut and the seasoning was great. Loved it.

Great ribs, a bit slow when busy!

By rovers100 |

Went on for food and a beer in December 2011 before our cruise from new York. Stumbled upon this place unfortunately when there were several American football games which made it busy. When we got a seat, we were served quickly and got the ribs and a pitcher of beer. Good food, good beer at reasonable new York rates. Would go again when we next come

Brilliant

By Gary A |

How this place doesn’t get all 5 star ratings is beyond me, we go there every time we visit NYC and the food and service is always excellent. My wife actually left her bag there by accident after 1 or 2 to many white wines ( passports ,iPad,cash card and a purse full of money ) the guy opened at 7am the following day as we were panicking and wow the staff but it to one side all safe and was returned to her !!!! How awesome and honest is that Thanks guys

fast food, slow service

By Neda F |

Food was just ok. It was greasy......I order vegetable with my burger and it was so much oil on the vegetable.... Burger was ok. The best part was our beer :)

OMG this place is amazing

By markat3 |

Wow this is my second time at Mudville and what an experience we went on a Sunday so of course the place is packed with football fans but that made the experience even more fun. This place has the most amazing chicken wings and onion rings that I have ever eaten. And the atmosphere is fun. Love this place.

Great wings and beer

By vic0001 |

I have been here a few times and have never been disappointed by the food or the beer. This time I had the buffalo wings and a beer and they were both great! The staff are very friendly and will help you choose if you're not sure as to what you want. Next time I am in the area I will be back!

Close to the best burger I ever had!!

By daved510 |

Walking the streets of New York looking for a good bite to eat is not always easy. So much choice and different kinds of cuisines.....it's a champagne problem. But once the burgers arrived and we took one look at the hand-cut-fries it was clear: These could well be the best burgers we ever had! Not saying they were but O....M....G.....!!! Very tasteful, perfectly cooked meat with delicious sauces. Excellent!!

Enjoyed our meal and atmosphere.

By dmacnmi |

Cool place. Great menu selection. Couple orders of chicken tenders, a Cobb salad, an order of fries to share, two lemonades, a beer and lots of water after a long, hot day walking around Manhattan is just what we needed! We enjoyed the 90's hip hop playing and the ambiance.

Great beers and food

By chris8648 |

I had dinner and some beers here in February 2018. Andre was bartending and was very kind and helpful. There is a good range of craft beers on tap and bottled. The food is very good as well. I had the special pork belly sliders which were excellent. The place was full of locals. I highly suggest visiting if you are looking for above average gastropub food and good regional craft beers.

Excellent food

By xande90 |

The food in mudville 9 is kind of spicy but is really good. Chicken wings is a good call but the burguers is the big point of the restaurant. Good service and clean place.

Very unfriendly staf, unfortenately a bad experience

By Victor D |

The food was fine but the expensive beers, noise and unfriendly manager made to a bad experience. There was a icehockeygame on tv and the staff decided to increase the volume to a very high level. I felt like i was next to a airplane which just took off. I could not understand my wife anymore so i asked the waiter for assistence. He said he would ask the manager, but nothing happened. After 10min i asked another waiter/bartender to adjust the volume a bit a he replied to me ' that he would think about it' After 10 minutes the manager came to our table and told us that he was sorry for the inconvenience and promised to adjust the volume for us. But nothing happened. I asked for the manager again to decrease the volume of the (6!) tv's to a normal speaking level, but he refused. He just lied to me because he told me that he adjusted it, but he did not. He was just laughing at me when i asked again for i think the 5th time of he please could adjust the annoying and hard sounds of the game. So, the we did not enjoyed it, even the food itself was fine, but the expensive beers (11-12usd!) and the very unprofessional manager made it to a bad evening. Next time i will walk away

Great place!

By KristinG3 |

Awesome food!! Friendly outgoing staff! great food and drink selection! Very reasonably priced! We were just walking around and said hey lets go here! SOOO glad we did!! We would go back! there were 4 of us and all said what we had was GREAT!! Thank you Mudville!! Awesome!

Best ribs I have ever had. Ever.

By jelltex |

We found this place on our first evening in the city, the wonderful smells dragged us in. We got a war welcome and the table by the open window looking onto the street, so we could watch the world go by. Its a small intimate place, but very friendly, the beer was lots of crafts, and the food, all wonderful. I had a half rack of ribs and Mexican Corn, which was a cob with spicy mayo or something on it. Better than I describe, and was glorious. So good we went back another night. And was just as good.

Nice Neighborhood Bar - Great for Wings, Beer and Football

By GreatFamFun |

This is a standard neighborhood bar with cheap wings, beer and sports. It's a nice spot to hang out on weekends with your friends to watch a game and catch up. Definitely not a couples spot. The food here is good (not great). The service isn't fast either but it generally doesn't matter. You come here to drink and watch sports.

cool bar

By uschi05 |

we just had drinks here, but it was a very nice sports bar atmosphere.. very crowded.. great choices of beers on tab.. next time i would make sure to grab a bite to eat.. looked good

Great Burger, Ribs and Wings for reasonable prices

By Rudolf S |

Had a nice diner and were very satisfied regarding food quality and quantity. Even the staff wss very friendly.

hot wing, great beer

By Chrisk07042 |

Went to watch Jeter's last game @ Yankee Stadium. Could have stayed home to watch, but really wanted some good wings, and great beer. Very satisfied. Great crowd for a great game. Wings were tasty and the a lot to choose in beers. Very glad we made the choice to enjoy our night at Mudville 9

Friendly bartender...and good food

By JupiterBeachDude 🇺🇸 |

Sat at the bar for late lunch and a little World Cup in TV while staying at Smyth Hotel on Broadway for business. Excellent service at the bar...good burger, my colleague had wings that were good as well. An friendly little neighborhood pub...and just down the street from the hotel.

Great deal for lunch, plus the food is good too!

By C W |

Found this place after researching best buffalo wings in Manhattan. Feeding four teenagers, I was looking for a deal. They have a pre fixe lunch menu for $16 which includes a main, side and beer or soft drink. Main choices include ten wings, burger, various sandwiches. Bud light may have been the only choice for beer, but I think it said you could choose a craft beer for $2 more. Three of us had bone-in wings, each with a different flavor, and we all thought they were really good. The other two had boneless wings, and after they graciously corrected a mistake in those two orders, they were declared really good too. Service was good and we liked the pub atmosphere. Looks like some good happy hour specials too. And we saw two burgers being served which made me wish I'd tried one of those! Maybe next trip.

Great for beer lovers

By Dave C |

Popped in for lunch and I was pleasantly surprised by the large selection of beers on offer here, we tried out several as it would have been rude not too, the food here was also good, large portions, we shared sliders and fries which was plenty for us.

Free drinks!

By tla719 |

This place is great! The bartender drinks more than the patrons. This results in patrons being served premium drinks at well drink prices... or not else not getting charged for the drink at all! This place is awesome.

Pathetic experience

By 848SidK |

Maybe we chose a bad day but we had a terrible experience here and ended up very disappointed. There were so many things which went wrong and we left feeling cheated and ripped off. Table: We had reserved the table at 7 but didn't get our table till 7:30. We were a group of 12 and 4 of us went for the premium beer and wings and 4 went for the regular beer and wings special. The other 4 ordered ala-carte. Beers: We were surprised to know that premium beer includes only a few $7 beers and not all the beers on the menu. We then waited almost 30 mins to get our beer and wings. I can understand abt the wings but I don't understand why it'd take 30 mins to get beer. So it was almost 8 by the time we got our wings and beer. And the premium beer just tasted like budlight. Wings: They missed getting the jerk wings which I badly wanted to try. I reminded the waitress 3-4 times but had to wait almost 90 minutes and got it when we were leaving. So forget trying all the 12 flavors you'll be lucky if you even get to try 3 or 4 flavors. Service: Very pathetic service, highly understaffed. So I thought the clock starts when we get our orders which was 8 PM. But barely after an hour around 9 PM we were told our time's up. So we just got an hour instead of 2 hours. At this point of time we got frustrated and decided to head to another bar and asked for our bill. So for 40$ each most of us were able to have only 2 glasses of beer and maybe 10-15 wings each. This is ridiculously expensive. Billing: We were shocked to see the bill. Only 8 of us(4 regular and 4 premium) went for the unlimited special. But they charged premium for 10 of us. So they overcharged us by 100$. And to add they charged 18% gratuity for the pathetic service. Needless to say we're never returning to this place. And even if we do, not going for the unlimited special. We headed over to Dark horse after this and enjoyed it lot more.

Wingtastic!!!

By HumanGiant |

Great small pub not far from ground zero, some great craft beers and best hot wings I had while in NYC. Plenty on the menu and service was great, not the cheapest but will worth it for a high calibre food.

Evenin Late Dinner

By Robert F |

Nice atmosphere for late dinner. A great beer and wine selection. Nice menu, prompt service, good portions. Waitress was great, friendly.

Good local atmophere

By Tworists |

This is a noisy sports bar with several tvs showing a variety of sports. The food was reasonably priced and as in large quantities but all seemed fried and not particularly healthy options. We enjoyed our visit there to soak up the atmosphere. The service was friendly and quick and if you like this type of food a good visit

Great ribs!

By 978LarsP |

We arrived hungry after a long walk through NYC. Red about this place on a website and as I love BBQ I really wanted to visit. Very friendly waiters. And about the food - we we're not disappointed. In fact I had the best ribs of my life. Super tender, off the bone ribs. Yummie. And the wings were great, as well as the pulled pork. Although New York is packed with food places we plan to go back in two day's for another meal. Can't wait.

decent spot to drink and eat

By John T |

bar is on chambers street which is very close to the entrance of the Brooklyn Bridge. Food was ok, average burger and fries, average price for drinks and beer. Servers were friendly and quick. Overall I would stop in again if I was in the area.

Good Food; Poor Service

By Lynda_11040 |

We arrived about 5:15 pm on Friday evening. The restaurant was not overly busy. We each had a drink from the Happy Hour menu. We also ordered food. The drinks and the meals came as expected. The meals were good. Shortly after getting our food, the server asked how our meals were. After this, the service ended. We were not asked if we wanted another drink, and it took about 30 minutes to get the server's attention for our bill. Then, we waited again for both the bill and then again, for our credit card to be returned.

Great burgers in TriBeCa!

By sp8holly |

Delicious burger and fries in TriBeCa. Not many places still patty out the hamburger meat onsite and cook to order. Plus the bun was delicious and toasted. Nice fries too. Seemed like a nice place to hang out also if you were a local. One suggestion, please turn the music down a tad! We aren't deaf! Otherwise great!

Great beer selection, decent foot, poor service

By Martin G |

Of the list of beers on tap, I'd had all but one. Which is saying something as I enjoy a variety of beers. Food was decent. The wings were a bit overcooked but very saucy. Things were reasonably priced. It was bar food. This isn't the place if you want craft beer and duck confit nachos. Wings, jalapeno poppers, sure. The service was pretty bad. We were here on a Wednesday night while happy hour was somewhat busy, there was always a couple empty tables. I don't know if they were short staffed, but we always had to flag down help for refills. Food was served promptly, it was just a chore to get another drink.

Great food horrible customer service.

By estrella0110 |

I have been there several times, great wings. Unfortunately, the last 2 times we where there we were treated like dirty by the wait staff and manager. The first time I thought the bartender was just having a bad day. The second time we actually left before we got our food; the waitress had a bad attitude and snatched a beer out of the hands of one of my girlfriends. The waitress said she did it because my girlfriend did not have ID, but my girlfriend is 29 years old how could she think she was under 21! I can count 3 different ways the waitress could of went about the situation, but she choose to react as if we where dirt. The manager was no better he tried to charge my card for food and drinks we did not receive yet. I had to bring it to his attention that all we had was the Tower of beer and soda, that none of us drank due to the horrible actions by the waitress. I looked up the restaurant and it looks like the place is notorious for horrible customer service. Never in my life had been treated so horribly at a restaurant, bar etc.

Bar with amazing wings

By SuZQ0420 |

It was dark inside but everyone was friendly and our waitress couldn't have been any friendlier. We took advantage of happy hour and ordered cocktails, beer, wings and a bunch of other food off the menu. It is a great place to grab a beer and wings with friends if you are in the neighborhood.

What a spot of luck!

By Simon B |

If you're in New York and looking for an expensive meal with camp serving staff, then this place is not for you. However, if you want a great meal at a reasonable price then you should go to Mudville 9. We had just walked over the Brooklyn Bridge, we were tired and trying to find a place just to sit and enjoy a good burger. This place exceeded our expectation - great food and service. Top tip - it gets very busy - we were lucky and arrive for lunch just before the rush.

Yummy Wings

By Max D |

I like their wings because they are quite tasty and bigger than normal. The vibe here is kinda nice though bar is quite small. They have lots of TVs so good to catch the game here. I went here on a Fri and it was packed around 8pm. It's not a fancy place or even fancy bar, but that's why the regulars go here.

Beer battered fish

By David C |

Beer battered fish was amazing and the price was very reasonable. Definitely a place worth looking up and good for beer aswell.

highly recommended!

By Securvenice |

After the city tour, it was the perfect place to eat (great BBQ burgers and buffalo wings), great service and nice girls! many beers to try! in the days of the NFL games you have to wait to be able to sit down. highly recommended!

Great little bar

By Cryptomnesia |

Walking from the world trade centre to the ghostbusters fire station we thought we'd stop off for a few drinks and found Mudvile9 Great little speak easy with some friendly barmen. Great selection of whiskey and they do some lovely cocktails. Kids loved the non-alcoholic Shirley Temples. Extensive beer menu and the food looked lovely but we only got a few bags of potato chips. If you are ever in the Tribeca area then check out this bar!

Surprisingly Good

By John F |

Looked for a place in Tribeca for wings & football. Service was great, good atmosphere and great wings

casual lunch

By Andy M |

WE stumbled across this little pub by chance and boy ere we glad we did. A great bar, the staff were really friendly and welcoming, the wings were recommended and did not disappoint and the salad was just outstanding thoroughly recommended. If youa re in the area and looking for a casual pub with great eats give it a go.

Yummy Wings!

By SunParaMe |

Great place for hot buffalo wings and beer great selections! You will also enjoy a great quality food.

Good locals bar

By GoMarshy |

Being from the UK we had to find a bar to watch the Olympics Opening Ceremony and the staff at Smyth recommended Mudville 9 which was just round the corner. Waitress service or seats at the bar, many large screen TV's and projector screens made for great viewing of the ceremony and Yankees v Red Sox. A good find and the food looked good even though we didn't eat there

Gratuity included

By Hanno T |

We had been to Mudville 9 for our family dinner and expected this place to be a restaurant. It's not! It's more like a sports bar and very noisy! The food is of average quality a typical menu like burgers, sandwiches, ribs, wings, etc. Impressive is the remarkable selection of draft beers! What really upsets us was the check with the already included gratuity of almost 20%! Just because we're tourists does not mean we're stupid and did not know about how much we were supposed to tipp on the check!

Great Sports Bar!

By JoeMExplores |

Great sports bar. The food is amazing. the atmosphere is great and the drinks are good too. They are always playing the featured games of the day.

Turned away 😕

By Debirauk |

We'd heard great things about their wings and had gone out of our way to find it on our holiday. We called in at half 12 on Saturday 17th and there were a few patrons in there. A member of staff advised they were closed as the systems were down, we advised we would happily pay in cash, she went away to check and came back to simply say...no we're closed and walked away (no apology either) I'm not sure if this was true, as we were not offered to buy a drink at the bar, nor offered a time to come back and seeing the other people drinking beers didn't make it look closed- neither did the open door we walked through. Thanks a lot

Love at first drink...

By Amar S |

If you keep thinking about a spot days after you first (and not hopefully last) visited it during a series of bar-hopping, you kinda realize love as a concept may just be a real thing. Naz (our beautiful bartender), made this a memorable experience. Please let her know this. I don't think any beer or bourbon would taste that good if it wasn't served by her hand. If she's ever single, please let me know ;) Hoping to visit Tribeca again, and popping in for another cold one. Thanks Mudville 9, and keep up the great work.

Great food,great price!

By SaraK007 |

It's a great place with normal priced and super tasty food!Thats rare for New York :) We went back after the first night coz we knew it will be good again, and it was!

Fun Place - Good Beer Selection

By MarkBCharlotte |

This is a sports bar / cafe type of establishment, with a fairly large selection of beers. The wings are good as is the food. For parties of 6 or more they offer 2 hours of unlimited beer and wings for a reasonable price.

Nice find

By Edwin A |

We have travelled all afternoon and wanted a good tasty solid meal. Yes we found it here. Finger Licking Bar-B-Que Ribs, and Teriyaki wings. Good food great service. My only complaint is the volume of the music. Maybe I'm getting old and don't appreciate loud music while eating. But I have no regrets. I returned two days later to pick up a growler full of cider beer. This place is a must if you like good food, good service, good beer at a reasonable price. Every seat has a view to a large screen TV. Life is good.

Pubs in Tribeca

By Margy_df |

Nice place in Triveca. Typical pub atmosphere. Fast service. Good choice of food and drinks. Too bad the table next to me was shouting and disturbing because I would have happily stayed for a second drink.

Great wraps!

By fridanygren |

We had lunch here after spending a couple of hours at the 911 memorial. The Caesar wrap with grilled chicken and coleslaw was great. My boyfriend had the club sandwich, and we were both very satisfied. Good beer, great service and nice atmosphere!

It All Evens Out

By mcrou |

I find the wait staff and bartenders here to be great. Very friendly and attentive. The manager guy, however is a complete jerk off. I have seen him interact with customers three different times, and he leaves the people around the bar looking at each other saying "ummm, what was that?" But he is mostly out of sight, thank goodness. The burgers and wings are very good, and unlike other reviewers, I have only been treated kindly by the wait and bar staff. It's a good place to go downtown to watch the game on TV.

Great Food and Atmosphere

By N D |

The bar was busy, mainly with people drinking. It was also very loud with people having to shout over the music. Menu was simple and food was good. However, it was expensive for what it was so we wouldn’t return for that reason alone.

Limited meny

By Daniel O |

Were there for lunch but the meny was limited because of something. Could only choose between straight burger and sallad. We had hoped for more variation. It tasted ok but was rather expensive.

So good we went back

By Tanya H |

A great classic American bar, possibly the best burger I have ever had and fantastic ribs! Lots of draught beers and the sports bit isn't too overpowering. Laid back but friendly service. Doesn't look much but definitely worth a visit.

All American Bar

By mollysmam886 |

Great buzzing atmosphere full of professionals having a drink after work. Basketball on the TV, music you cant help but tap your foot to, reasonably priced drinks and bar staff who can deal effectively with those who have had one too many. Worth a visit if staying in a nearby hotel.

Great athmosphere

By Erik S |

We had a great evening at Mudville 9, with funny people, good food and a cosy athmosphere. Mudville 9 is a place with TV screens, where you can follow sports events together with other fine people. Erik S Erik S

Fantastic Range of Beers and Bar Food

By Mace H |

After 30 hours of travel, a wonderful dinner we needed a couple more drinks to see us through to midnight. Luckily Mudville was just around the corner. I cruised through some fabulous IPA's which my wife enjoyed some Jamison's shots. We even managed some buffalo wings and hot pepper poppers stuffed with potato, cheese and wrapped in bacon.

Dont go to this place!

By Beachlover046 |

Hotel we were staying in suggested we eat at this restaurant. Arrived at 4pm on Saturday that Villanova was playing in the basket ball game and they told us we had to be out at 6pm in a very negative way! Restaurant was just about empty at this time and understand the reservations process, but could have been handled a lot better! Server, although nice, was clueless and obviously new. Prices are crazy, dinner for 4 people and 6 beers came to $200 for just burgers..after dinner went to a bar next door and should have went there first, prices much better and service amazing. I eat out 4 nights a week and will not ever go back nor suggest this place. Hotel concierge was made aware and indicated he had heard similar concerns lately

A PROPER DOWNTOWN BAR DINER

Tribeca boasts so many good diners but this is undoubtedly right up there with the best. Recently refurbished , it retains its original character but with a more modern slant. Menu is varied and the food and drink good. Nice toilets too. On a side street but well worth the look. We loved it so much we went back again the next day. Enough said !!

GREAT FOOD GREAT PRICES

By Kaya T |

We were so SOOOO tired from walking around. This restaurant was less than a block from our hotel. The menu was lovely, the food was well made and tasty. It has a sports bar environment but was not overcrowded. Very pleasant dining experience.

Mudville: Not

By ajkartists |

I only write ths review now because I do not bother to write negative ones. I stopped going to Mudville late last year. However, recently, a colleague noted that she ate at this location but found the service and food a bit "off". My response: I loved the place until last year. It was a "go to" spot for one on the best California burgers generously stacked with avocado, lettuce, tomato, bacon, onion & spicy chipotle sauce and accompanied by the most delicious long golden fries. Notice I said "was". Now, this burger is a micro- version served with a painfully thin sliver of lettuce and onion, avocado, bacon and mystery sauce not even close to chipotle- more like a diluted mix of mayo and a dab of ketchup. The fries a disgrace: nubby oily pieces. Everything is served on some kind of flatboard that is not practical for eating. I repeatedly mentioned this to Mike (great guy) who manages the place. He always apologized for the changes, and said he has a new chef and partner. Mike promised he would speak to him and have him contact me. This never ever happened. Mike agreed the former fries were absolutely delicious, but his partner did not want to use the better potatoes. Duh!? And, the chipotle sauce? Forget about it. Bottom line: if its not broke don't fix it. My college colleagues no longer go there. I was never accorded the meeting I was promised. If my $25 weekly visits are not valued, then adios. If you disrespect former loyalty, you deserve to lose customers and recommendations. Ajkartists

Mudville

Great wings. super crowded for football sunday, but get early or reserve a table and lots of fun.. many many beers to choose from.

Very noisy with rude service

By JCH84 |

The waitress at this noisy, busy bar was amazingly cross and rude. The food was ok but the whole experience was poor. Not recommended.

Amazing wings!

By Caroline B |

Came in here after visiting the 9/11 museum and Ground Zero. I ordered buffalo wings and my fiancé got buffalo strips and a few beers. The food was so good and it was $5 for a Budweiser - cheaper than most places we’ve been. Would definitely come back if I visit New York again. The waitresses were lovely too!

Great beer selection

By Jo M |

Found this little bar by accident and stopped for lunch. Shared the sliders which was adequate for two people. Large beer selection which we had to sample a couple Good value relaxed place for a hearty lunch

Nice Trendy Place

By Edwin A |

A nice quaint place to have a few cold ones. A huge selection of micro brew beers. Great wings. It’s sort of a sports bar, with a bit more. A nice place to loosen the corporate tie and just be yourself. I love this place.

Last stop

By Kevin M |

We stopped here for dinner before heading to the airport. Food is 5+ stars. We both got burgers and they were cooked to order and absolutely fantastic. Service? Eh. We had to keep chasing down the servers because I think they kept forgetting we were there (and sitting in an easily viewable spot). I think this is a bit of a locals hangout, and if you are obviously not local, you're screwed. As good as the food was, the service was bad enough to bring the overall rating down to average

Worst customer treatment ever

By froboy4196 |

I ordered wings and and a six-pack of beer from Mudville 9 on Sundaycnight. Over the phone, I was told the beer would be $3.50 per bottle. When it arrived, however, the bill read $4.00 per bottle. The delivery guy was unable to help, so I called the restaurant. Transcript below: "Hi, I ordered wings and beer awhile ago - how much was the beer supposed to be?" ---"I don't know, what did I say, $3.50? $4.00?" "You said $3.50, but it's $4.00 on the bill." ---"All right, then it's $4.00." "But you told me it was $3.50." ---"These are bar prices, $4.00 is practically giving it away. It's $4.00." "Well, then is it all right if I send it back?" ---"You're going to send it back over fifty cents?" "Yeah, I am." ---"Sure, send it back. And go **** yourself, too." And then he hung up. I stared at the phone, totally nonplussed. My girlfriend and the delivery guy were standing there, so I told them what he had said. After all of ten seconds of deliberation, we decided to send the entire order back (despite having waited an hour and twenty minutes for it to arrive). I felt kind of bad for the delivery guy. Anyway, I called the restaurant again to tell them that I was sending the order back, and to speak to the manager. Transcript below: "Hey, this is the guy with the beer. I just wanted to let you know that we're sending the whole order back." ---"Fine, you do that, *******." "Can I speak to the manager?" ----"I am the ******* manager, *********." "You're the manager?" "Yeah, that's right, so why don't you go **** yourself? *********." And he hung up on me again. I'll be making a more concerted effort to get in touch with someone in charge later this week (I can only hope that was not actually the manager). Needless to say, neither I nor anyone I know will ever be ordering from Mudville 9 again. And I hope that you won't, either, now that you know about their particular brand of customer service.

Ok Bar

By duncandouglas |

It's an ok bar. Very small and catering for food. Thought the prices were a bit steep but it's New York. Other bars in the area so plenty of choice

a great relaxed spot for a drink and snack

By Rosie P |

As I was staying just a few blocks from Mudville 9 I was passing it on my way to and from walking around the local area. It was chilled out, drinks and food were great and the staff were friendly and on to service. We visited there quite a few times while in NY

Great food, atmosphere, location on sub

By VeronikaAndOto |

We ordered rips and wings - one of the best we have ever eaten. Nice staff and a lot of bear. And if you love football as we do, you should visit this place during the game - screens everywhere and fans allaround :)

Chicken Wings

By Caindog1 |

Awesome wings !! The order came out really fast so I was expecting a blah wing. Wow I was wrong. Wings were meaty and crispy. The Jamaican Jerk flavor was terrific. The bar staff was great keeping us supplied with napkins and our beer mugs full.

Great beers, fun atmosphere

By KatMom419 |

I had lunch here with my grown sons, 21 and 23, and we really enjoyed sampling a few different beers while having tasting jalapeño poppers ( cheesy) and good old fashioned fat angus burgers and fries. The staff is very friendly, quick and accommodating. It was a busy, happy atmosphere during lunch - mostly area workers since this is the City Hall area. My sons and I had a good time and with full bellies. The bill was very reasonable. I would definitely go again.

Brilliant downtown New York Ale House , plenty of beers to choose from , terrific vibe , food menu top class , staff the best

So happy we found this place

By 1EatWell2TravelOften |

Wonderful little spot in the city that serves excellent wings and has an impressive selection of craft beers. Loved it! It's a small place but I like that you don't get swallowed up in the mix and treated like cattle. The place has a more intimate feeling and affords a more personal experience. The wait staff was extremely professional, helpful and kind.

Amazing Burgers!

By galwaythomas |

Mudville 9 was right across from our hotel in Tribeca and so we went in for some quick bar food on our first night in the city. We both had burgers and they were unreal! Huge, cooked to perfection, full of flavour and they have a great range of toppings! The seasoned fries were also very tasty. The atmosphere in this place is great, a lot of locals who were very friendly and good music on. The service was excellent, the range of beers they have is simply unbelievable and everything is very reasonably priced for New York. If we had been staying in the area for longer we would have definitely been back!

Decent Burger

By James B |

A nice burger, but slightly surly staff! Stumbled across this place whilst walking back from the tower memorial. A good few customers in, but that didn't seem to cheer up the wait staff! Burger was decent 8/10, good fries and well priced. Pity nobody could break a smile.

Great Sports Bar and Amazing chicken wings!!!

By Simon M |

We stayed at the Cosmopolitan hotel opposite here and visited a few times. Great range of beers to choose from. The ribs and chicken wings were world class and have had takeaway here a few times, they serve food till 1am. This place is even better for sports fans as they have a projector and several screens covering all the major sports games Great staff as well!

Fun place to watch a game

By Julie S |

I was staying at the hotel across the street during opening weekend of the NFL and wanted to watch the Sunday night game, which had the home team of the New York Giants. We arrived early and my two friends wanted to go to our hotel and change, and the waiter let me take a booth to myself and stay there for about 30 minutes by myself, rather than make us wait for the full party even though they were sure to be packed for the game. He even said, "This is your booth for the night." We had drinks which were good; they have a full bar and a big beer list. We had already eaten so we didn't eat but the food around us looked like your usual bar food and smelled good. The crowd was friendly even though our team was the opposing team to the NY Giants. We all had a good time and would go back again. It's a very laid back bar with friendly staff and plenty of TV screens to see the game.

Sports bar with amazing chicken wings!

By perrin99 |

I so needed my chicken wings fix. This place did not disappoint. I am making Mudville 9 my official buffalo wings fix place every time I'm in NYC. The ribs are also very good and melt in your mouth!!!

Great nachos

Had a big table here for March madness. We got a bunch of drinks and the nachos with pork. The nachos were awesome.

Great!

By Nancy J |

Just walking and looking for something for a late lunch/early dinner. Didn't want a national chain restaurant, can eat at those at home. So spotted this place and said "Why Not?". A quaint little bar with big screens to watch sports (they had soccer games and baseball games on). Our waitress was great (unfortunately can't remember her name), ordered the burger and my son got the wings and some fries. The burger was huge and very tasty, the wings (he said) were good, the sauce was a little sweet for him. But it was good food and the ambiance was pure NY. Probably a great place to meet up with friends to watch you favorite team and have some beers.

Can be hit or miss

By Boo S |

This is one of our neighborhood places for wings and burgers. There have been times we've gone and it was great. Good food, Positive vibe. Then other times where the acoustics are way way off -- I get that it's a sports bar but it shouldn't feel uncomfortable to sit there. Sometimes they run out of items on the menu. And yes, a few times I walked away with a slightly uneasy feeling in my stomach. Give it a shot. For me, I think after dozens of visits, we'll try some of the other (many) pubs in the neighborhood with similar fare and more consistent experience

Not bad but somewhere else would be better...

By Liveforvacation86 |

Pros- Staff were flexible about changing our table which is always nice! They were also willing to let us sample the different sauces and a few beer tastings before agreeing to one. I always love a good Mexican street corn on the menu which was delicious as was the black bean burger! I appreciated the vegetarian options. Cons- Staff were not very attentive, it took forever to get a server and they were not present enough throughout the rest of the meal. The water was warm. The music was way too loud and had a lot of foul language which makes it not good for families. It was surprising that on a Saturday night it was pretty much dead. A wing connoisseur traveling with us gave these wings a 6 out of 10.

Deceiving

By belaril |

Quite disappointing, the ribs were drained under industrial bbq sauce and yet were really dry (and cold). Buffalo wings also soaked under quite poor buffalo sauce. Good beer. Quite average service. Go somewhere else if you want to eat. Nice to have a drink.

Attractive bar in TriBeCa with both indoor and outdoor seating. Good range of beers, serves chicken dishes. Prices OK for Manhattan

Great Lunch

By TreeWater |

Walking around for hours get the stomach going... Saw this place from walking down the street and menu seemed good with many options to choose from. It's a pub atmosphere with great staff working there. I ordered a lunch prefix burger with fries and a beer. Burger was really good (except for the process cheese). I was expecting real cheddar, but nevertheless it was great. Real burger (not frozen) cooked to how you'd like it. Portions were decent, not to overwhelming. Girlfriend order a shake, cookies n dreams - really good! Clean and decent with polite staff.

Great food

By Denise S |

The food is great. I eat dinner there every night when I stay at the Cocmo.

New York Pub and Dining

By jennywinter23 |

Very typical New York Bar/restaurant with character. Good draft beers and larger on tap and great range of food and great staff. This is not comfortable dining it is a more a bar type venue.

Great Neighborhood Bar

By jdcBoston_Ma |

Went for a quick bite and some beer. Both were outstanding. Neighborhood place, simple, comfortable and we enjoyed it very much. When they say the HOT wings are HOT, they mean it. Prices are very reasonable, and the service was very good. If you're looking for a simple nice fun bar, give this a shot!!

Good Beer Selection and Decent Food

By Joe V |

Stayed around the corner at a Botique hotel and decided to walk somewhere close. Saw they had a decent beer selection and went there. A little louda nd crowded but what the hell it's NYC.

Outstanding offer of draft and bottled bear

A great place for a lunch break, especially if you want to top it off with a beer. An endless selection of tap and bottled beer.

Great food, good value lovely staff - Great find!!!

By Seanyboi30 |

Found here while exploring downtown Manhattan and took a wander off Broadway So pleased to have found this location as the burgers were amazing and cooked to our specific likings Posted on Facebook and found a few friends had also visited here with the same comments so it's great to hear what a well thought place this is The TriBeCa burger was delicious and I'm now gonna try making my own rosemary aioli My partners blue cheese tasted fantastic, definitely order a few side, the homemade Slaw is great as is the seasoned fries. Wish had gone for the onion rings as saw them on another table and felt very jealous!! Value of the meal was good for the top quality, will find you guys again for our next visit to NYC PS next time we'll sample the great whisky selection as lots are from our hometown as we live in the whisky area of Scotland right by Speyside 😀😊😀

Excellent wings and other finger foods. Don't order anything else.

WINGS!! BEER!! FOOTBALL!!

By Eactress1 |

Great place to watch football. They have Sunday ticket. Call ahead and reserve a table. It gets packed. They great wings and a fabulous beer selection. You can't miss!

College bar but the wings are great

By ilovelivin |

The location was good. I picked this place because of the selection of beer. The wings were fantastic here as well. The only problem was the noise level. It was difficult to have a conversation. The crowd was definitely 20 somethings from the local colleges and some were forcefully removed while we were there. Good place to eat overall just go a little earlier. We were there around 8:30.

Always Delicious

By nancybny |

gets pretty busy at lunch time - haven't had a bad meal yet. Happy hour specials are good. Fried chicken caesar salad is amazing. The burgers are also really really good!

Lively bar

By mark60528 |

This bar is very popular as an after work meet up place. It services a good drinks selection and the food is very hearty and of a good quality. Bar staff are friendly and welcoming.

Great wings and beer

By Gregory C |

This is the place to go for outstanding wings and a fabulous selection of beers. The next time I go, I'll make a dinner of the wings. That being said, the ribs and the chicken were bland. Don't bother with them.

Good place for drinks and bar food!

By Pete07046 |

We stopped in on a hot day for drinks and appetizers. The food was average but they have an impressive beer collection. Prices were on the high side for a downtown NYC bar. Good place for meeting friends to watch a sporting event.

Best Wings EVER!

By Karinaogle |

A real gem! You can tell this is a place not just for tourists, but for the locals too. There were tourists working out their next port of call on map sitting on a table next to 6 suited up lawyers talking about the judge's mood for the day. There were people sat at the bar enjoying a snack whilst watching the baseball game. They served food in the restaurant but we saw plenty of people ordering take out or getting their food delivered. It has the feel of an old fashioned bar and the atmosphere was a little shady (compared to the bright sunlight outside) but the wings were amazing! In fact, I think you could say AWESOME! The beer menu was very long and had lots of real ales from America and abroad. The wings came in about 10 different flavours and were excellent value for money. The staff were all very friendly, and happy to let us use their free wifi to Skype our family at home. So good, we went back again a couple of days later.

Late night beer for us - but food looked good

By Roger61Texas |

Great selection of craft brews from across the country. Friendly staff. Serves what looked to be very good food so your underage family members can join you as well, even if is just for a late night beer and a soda. Next time - we order food as well.

GEM in Tribeca!

By LewisScolnick |

Now here’s a place! Mudville 9 is a place that I felt delivered above and beyond price point. I travel to Manhattan on business often and kicked across this gem. Got the oven roasted wings (10/10 from a wing JUNKIE), burger/slaw, and side of crispy Brussels. Slaw was amazing and I can’t stop eating the sprouts... I’ll spend a lot of time and money trying to recreate the latter at home. Also have cheap drink options, which is particularly cool when your employer looks out for that stuff. 28,000 (?) restaurants in Manhattan and this is a place I’ll come at least once every visit. More things on the menu to try. Heather the barkeep is awesome... pride and pleasure in her work that I wish I had.

Good food, good beer and wonderful service

By VermontCapecodder |

We came downtown to visit the World Trade Center memorials and reflecting pools and stopped at Mudville 9 for a late lunch. We started with ales from Brooklyn and The Bronx and they were very good on a warm day in late September. I thoroughly enjoyed the grilled chicken sandwich, very tender & delicious, that came with fries that were wonderful. This was a good place to stop with our out of town friends as we were near City Hall and the 100 Center Street office building; Brooklyn Bridge, the NY FED; the Stock Exchange (NYSE), Fraunces Tavern (GW's farewell address). Good spot in downtown.

Great Pub in Tribeca

By tjw14140 |

Arrived really late at our hotel and wanted to grab a quick bite. Mudville 9 was right around the corner. We went in and were greeted by the bartender, Andre, who was extremely welcoming. He recommended a great beer (they have a lot on tap...if you're a beer person, I think you'll be impressed) and the baked wings. They were delicious. It was so good that we went again the next day. I had the Impossible Burger which is a vegan burger...I normally would never order a vegetarian burger (its a texture thing) but this thing is the real deal. It was absolutely fantastic. And the fries are hand-cut...really outstanding. My dining companion had the turkey burger and really enjoyed it as well. All in all, a really great (unexpected) experience.

Mudville

By woodys9 |

Stumbled upon this place after a ferry trip on the Hudson. Very busy, sports bar, loads of beers for sale. Huge choice as well as typical American food wings, burgers, pulled pork, etc. Good service and prices reasonable for NYC.

Lunch and Beers

By Thomas R |

My wife and I had been at Ground Zero, but we wanted to watch the Masters Golf Championship during lunch. We just happened to see this place, and it was terrific! We sat at the bar right in front of our own personal large screen TV. The bartender was from Ireland--a super nice guy. The food was excellent, and they had specials on the beer. Altogether, a wonderful lunch.

Most enjoyable lunch

By JR/Highlands |

Four of us stop in for lunch. We loved the feel and the atmosphere. Our service was very good and the food outstanding. One of our companions said her Greek salad was one bbn of the best she had ever had. I had a turkey burger with carmelized onions and cheese. It was very, very good. We enjoyed our lunch here and think others will as well.

Best wings in NYC, period

By meg |

Have loved Mudville's wings for years. Whether you like bones or boneless, this is the place to go. Also like their burgers, chili and jalapeno poppers. The menu changes in the last year or so were for the worse, but you still can't beat these wings. The place is packed on any big sporting day - not even approachable on Super Bowl Sunday - but is fun for a group. If you are on a diet, there is not one thing on the menu for you.

Fun bartender, great cocktails!

By Innerhousewife |

Stumbled in here for a quick cocktail break. Sat at the bar and let him make us drinks based on our likes that we shared with him-he nailed it! I had a vodka drink with the egg white topping, and glad I tried his suggestion-it was delicious. There are some great gallery walls in here for inspiration and a fun relaxed vibe. Lots of tv's for entertainment. Can't speak to the food, but definitely would come back for more drinks.

Good food

By David M |

Had a nice lunch of slow roasted chicken and squash. Thought the waitress could have been a bit more helpful when it came to looking at sides.

Solid food, great location

By A G |

Stayed at the hotel on the same corner as Mudville 9. Ate there and got takeout a few times. Great ribs, wings, sides and beer. Always a solid choice, never disappointed.

Good food

By chrystals1204 |

This little pub is really cute and the food was pretty good for just a random find while on a casual walk. I had their wings which were large and yummy. My hubby had a bacon cheeseburger that he really enjoyed as well. The fries were good too. We also shared some hand rolled mozzarella sticks which were well done. They are wrapped in a wonton wrapped rather than being breaded. The kitchen was a little slow but we did come in right at open time. We would go again just for the food.

Just awesome

By Claire C |

This was one of my favourite places that we visited in New York on our recent trip from the UK. The staff were so friendly and the atmosphere was great. I loved that there were televisions everywhere which meant that you could have a conversation with the people you were with without losing track of what was happening in the games. The food was tasty, hot and quick. The portion sizes were great. It was all reasonably priced we'd in my view a great find. Highly recommended for a relaxed fun night out with great food.

Cool place. Great beer and burgers

By BobNYC47 |

Nice tavern/bar, a good hangout for the area. Probably 30 or 40 beers on tap. Burgers and wings are good. TVs showing various sports. An order of wings, a burger and 2 beers $48 without tip, so relatively inexpensive for the area.

Great lunch

Some of the best buffalo wings in New York!

By jasher |

During my recent trip to New York I liked the buffalo wings from this place so much I ordered from them twice - the buffalo wings and strips are perfect, with tangy spicy sauce. There are three varieties of buffalo sauce (at different levels of spiciness) and lots of other options if you don't want to go with buffalo. The one gripe I have (this is common everywhere - not specific to Mudville) is that there never seems to be enough bleu cheese - definitely recommend ordering one extra serving per person. Delivery is fast and efficient even when ordering late at night!

perfect for watching sports and the wings are amazing

By Paul W |

we watched the FA Cup final here on Saturday lunch time the staff were great in getting it on the many many TV's they have in the bar... so brilliant for having a beer and watching sports and make sure you sample some of their amazing wings!!

One of the favorites

By Lily S |

This is one of my favorite places to stop when I find myself in the neighborhood. The wings are fabulous. The atmosphere has a typical sports bar scene. Does get a little loud.

A real hidden gem

By Kevin W |

We had hangry teenagers past their lunchtime and ducked in for what we expected to be unremarkable pub grub. Expectations were far exceeded! The lunch specials menu is a great deal. The pub grub is perfectly executed, and the salads and sandwiches were big, fresh, and on-point. The sides ranged from classics to healthy and creative options with big flavors. Also seems like a chill sports bar with lots of great beer selections if you're in the neighborhood with over-21's.

As Expected

By JPOS_CA |

OK, this is a CLASSIC sports bar; LOUD, lots of beer on tap and very good chicken wings and other bar menu foods. I was there for the first round of the NFL playoffs and the place was packed with groups of locals making the bar a day trip. If that is what you are looking for you will be happy!

LOVED this little gem

Right across from the hotel I am staying. The staff was GREAT. Service, too. The food was amazing and lots to choose from. I felt like a local. I loved it ;)

Spiciest Chicken wings ever !!!

By Littlew1962 |

We first visited Mudville on our first ever trip to NYC when staying downtown......now 6 years later and we are back!!!! Its a fab bar - comfortable relaxed atmosphere, excellent range of beers and the best wings ever !!! The staff are very pleasant and accommodating (we visited twice and the bartender Jess remembered our drinks from 2 days before. The boneless chicken wings are delish, but be warned the Buffalo Super Wow is not for the faint-hearted...... burgers are excellent also.

Great selection of beers!

By GoldenMattarello |

Great selection of draft beers; kitchen open 'til late; very friendly staff; cool atmosphere all lead to 5* !!! The menu is basic, but everything we tried was great (ribs, chicken fingers, mac&cheese and pizza). Ideal for a late dinner with comfy food.

Great atmosphere

By brandis43 |

Liked that it was across from our hotel. Great atmosphere and good service. Liked the quaintness.Would definately go back

Pretty good food. Great beer list.

By James J |

Had a meal here while in NYC. The service was good - actually the food came out VERY quickly. The food itself was good but pretty ordinary. The beer list is extensive. Overall, it is an OK place and seems to be packed with Wall Street types blowing off some steam after work. I would not go back but only because there are 1000s of other places in NYC I have not tried yet.

Good place for a burger and sport

By PetriaLadgrove |

Cool booths, good service and nice burgers. I had the chilli burger and it really was good. Big! It didn't come with fries which made it more expensive when I had to order fries too... but worth it.

Best wings in NY

By Tommy P |

Did lunch. Tried the super hot bbq wings and they were terricfic! Best wings i've had in NY. They have a good selection of draft beers too. Seems to be a populare place for takeaway/delivery

Hidden gem

By ShelbySJ |

We were recommended this restaurant by a friend who had already visited. We stayed up near Columbus Circle but decided to visit on the day we were visiting the Statue of Liberty, Wall St and 9/11 memorial as its nearby. We were shown to a table with not so comfy chairs however that's the only bad point. The atmosphere was great it was nicely decorated with a lovely Christmas feel, the service was great one word of warning the food was brilliant (we had wings) but be wary of the Super Wow sauce your mouth will burn for hours after. Overall great place to eat.

Great food and great choice of beer!!

By nickhanna71 |

Visited with my wife as it was recommended by a friend - very friendly staff - a choice of 100 beers and the food was lovely. Had peanut butter Thai wings, buffalo wings and amazing breaded shrimps (they are a must) - music a little loud but bearable - a little off the beaten track (near freedom tower) but well worth a visit
