it was the best türkish food i have ever eaten . the restaurant was verry neat and organized, everyone was super friendly and nice. the price was perfect for the food. delicious and clean served food i would say. Thank you!!!!

For those who have or have not visited Turkey, NAR Modern Turkish Cuisine Restaurant actually transported us back to Istanbul for dinner again. Initially, when the aircon unit above our seating area was dripping condensation and we mentioned the issue to our server, we were immediately moved to a table on the other side of the restaurant. Their response was much appreciated, but they do need to address the problem. Most importantly, the food was exceptional and the service wonderful. It was an amazing dining experience. The restaurant was not particularly large but comfortable and nicely appointed. We had the pleasure of meeting and chatting with the owner following dinner and would definitely recommend and return again.

I loved the atmosphere from the moment we arrived- lots of cozy blue chairs with nice lighting. The menu is great with a lot of choices for sharing appetizers, we also ended up splitting the entrées. All of it was great and beautifully presented. But the winner of this place are the cocktails. Generously poured drinks and so delicious.

I was lucky to attend an event here, with 5-course Ottoman Opulence Tasting. They opened in August of 2023, and already made Eater's, Infatuation's, AND the New York Post's Lists of the "Best New Restaurant Openings of 2023." We cocktails to start off this event, Purple Velvet and Raki Mule. Purple Velvet was sweet and fruity, with beautiful color. It was really tasty! Raki Mule was minty and refreshing, with that notes of spice from anise, interesting drink. The candied ginger on top was a nice touch. The first course was Mezze Trio with baba ganoush, hummus, pistachio, and Turkish nuts & spices. We also received some warm pita breads, They were all fresh and flavorful, I really enjoy that as well. The second course was Beetroot Carpaccio. It had a nice sweetness to it, and velvety. The third course was Pan Seared Scallops with Turkish Pastirma. Scallops were super plump and seared just right. The pastirma had a good amount of salty flavor which went great with scallops that needed the extra oomph. The fourth course was Grilled Lamb Rack. They looked impressive, and had great flavor, and hazelnut coating was really tasty. I felt that the mean was ever-so-slightly overcooked. Other than that, it was a beautiful dish. Very filling and satisfying. The last course was the dessert. Roasted Pumpkin & Kaymak Mousse. This was an interesting dessert. It was almost like a mix of sweet and savory dessert, if such thing exist. One of my pumpkin slices was thicker and larger, and not cooked all the way. I did like the second, softer piece. It was elegantly sweet, and tahini went great with pumpkin. We sure had an amazing Event here at NAR. They care a lot about the ingredients, with its quality and where they source them from. And you can taste the quality with every bite. Service was great, friendly and polite. If you want to try some modern Turkish dishes, head over to NAR!

I have been here to dinner probably 5 or 6 times in the last couple of years , usually with friends but a couple of times solo at the bar as I was on this most recent visit . We brought a Turkish friend here and she liked it so much we went back again with her . Everything is absolutely delicious from the hummus to the branzino to the various lamb dishes . I had the shepherds salad for the first time with its shredded feta and it is wonderful . The wine list is very wide ranging however it makes no sense to have all these wines including good Bordeaux and Burgundy and not indicate the vintage on the wine list . If I am choosing an expensive bottle of red wine I would like to know the vintage . Also I do not know why they removed the lamb appetizer but have several lamb entrees. All in all Nar is an excellent restaurant with a good atmosphere and warm service both at the tables and at the bar .

The food was some of the best Turkish food I have had. Also very creative. The staff were friendly and very professional. I would highly recommend Nar.

"First of all, the interior is beautifully designed, and the choice of colors is very appropriate. The bartenders are legends! :) Our dear waiter Mehmet took care of us. He was extremely friendly, attentive, and had detailed knowledge of the menu. I'm so upset that I forgot to buy Turkish wines on the way home, but I'm thrilled that I'll be returning soon. To the kitchen chefs and the heroes who prepared our meals: the stuffed meatballs were absolutely legendary. I've had many stuffed meatballs before, but I've never seen anything like this—it’s an incredible recipe you've developed. The pomegranate kebab and filet mignon were phenomenal. Just a small note for those who’ve lived in the U.S. for a long time: if you prefer your meat and similar dishes cooked rare, make sure to let your waiter know. As for the desserts, you can order the entire menu with your eyes closed. Everything is homemade and incredibly delicious. Thank you so much, and we can’t wait to see you again soon!" Mutfak şefleri ve yemeklerimizi hazırlayan kahramanlar; Icli köfte tam bir efsane ben çok icli köfte yedim ama boylesini hiç görmedim inanılmaz bir tarif geliştirmişsiniz. Nar kebab - Filet mignon tam bir efsaneydi. Sadece amerikada uzun sure yasayanlar icin kucuk bir hatırlatma eğer ki et ve türevleri yemekleri az pişmiş seviyorsanız eğer bu konuda garsonunuza gerekli bilgiyi mutlaka verin. Absolutely lovely. Beautiful space and lighting, a warm and welcoming staff, and truly delicious food. This was our first visit but we will definitely be back and this may end up on our short list of 'regular' dining destinations.
Modern Turkish Comfort Food
Such wonderful food and service! We were here after the theater and the staff could not have been more welcoming. The modern turkish cusine is a welcome change from American fare: warm and hearty with spice hints we don't encounter veryday. I had the quail wrapped in wine leave and my husband the lamb. Each was delicious. Defineitely will return.
