Diner style restaurant with a pretty diverse menu. The burgers are very good, cooked fresh and made to order. I must have hit them on an off day because the fries were average at best. Service was good. Worth a try if you are in the mood for a quick and basic lunch.

Late dinner, staying in Philadelphia, other restaurants packed. Food was decent, service was better which helped. Really good service hides a multitude of sins.

What a pleasant place. Simple menu of burgers, fries, and onion rings. Excellent milk shakes and dozens of flavored sodas to choose from. The place is always busy (always a good sign). We had to wait a bit to get a seat but it was worth it. They staffed it properly to handle the large flow of customers. It was fun. Highly recommend it.

Great place for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The burgers are incredible and the shakes are great. Really enjoyed the crab cakes and the philly cheese steak omelet. This is the first place I go when I'm in Philadelphia.

I and a little group of my friends decided to eat lunch at this place I've heard a bit about "Nifty Fifty's". Its a 50's style restaurant that serves American dishes (hamburgers/fries, chicken sandwiches/salads, etc.). The food is pretty good and the shakes are excellent! They have a menu of exotic milkshakes but I decided to play it safe and got a "Black and White" shake which is just vanilla and chocolate mixed together. I also had a Royal Burger which is a cheeseburger topped with a big onion ring! Delicious! The burgers are made to order as you can ask for your onions to come fried or sautéed and include pickles, tomatoes and lettuce. The restaurant plays all 50's type of music and its kept at a nice tone so it won't drown out your conversation or be so low that you don't hear it at all. As far as I'm concerned I will be back for another try at Nifty Fifty's! I must take a chance on those exotic milkshakes! If you can go to this restaurant in any of their 5(?) locations, you SHOULD!

We came to Nifty Fifty's on a Saturday before we headed to the Philadelphia Flower Show and it was nothing less than amazing! We arrived at about 5:00 pm and was seated about 30-45 minutes later. It was a long wait but well worth it! There was plenty of families with kids but we didn't mind it at all. My husband ordered the pina colada milkshake and a cotton candy soda with a Philly cheesesteak. I ordered a cheeseburger with a cotton candy milkshake and a bubble gum soda. We shared an order of spicy fries and onion rings. Every single thing was UH-MAZING! The milkshakes were out of this world, the sodas were delicious and I was highly satisfied with my burger! My husband was surprisingly pleased at how good his cheesesteak was. The fries were just okay in our opinion but you can tell they are definitely homemade. If your looking for a fun kid friendly place to try, this is a must!

Had a really good burger, some fries and a great shake, with ice tea. $12. Really friendly staff. Any flavor of shake you can imagine, but I stuck with vanilla and it was s whole lot of delicious shake for the money.

This was a huge diner in Folsom, PA, with fast and friendly service - great hamburgers!!! Waiters and waitresses seemed to really like what they were doing - which made the visit much more pleasant - all the black and white tile and red stools - took me back to my teen years. Tried a New York Egg Cream - a cramy coke- a new experience!!

Ate Sunday Morning Breakfast here and was not disappointed. After queuing for 30 minutes to get in, we were seated and the service began. We were offered drinks, then our breakfast order was taken, and as strangers in a strange town, we had to have certain things about the menu explained to us - which was done with humour and politeness. The food arrived and it was superb - everything you'd expect from a 50's themed diner. Indeed, the whole experience is excellent - a bit like being in Al's in Happy Days - the music, the milkshakes, the waitresses....If you're looking for a real slice of Americana/nostalgia for how things use to be, then this is the place to eat.

Good food and 60's music in the background. Stayed in the area, ended up going for dinner and the following morning for breakfast. Reasonable prices. Great juicy cheeseburger, smallish patty so recommend the double. Although my wife had a single and thought it was plenty. She had the Texas Ringer and said it was great. Cheesy spicy fries were decent. Small was plenty for the two of us. We finished up with a chocolate brownie milk shake desert, which was excellent. Not what I would normally think about, but a great treat. Breakfast was good too, and also reasonably priced. Good selection. As an fyi - no alcohol served

Simple American food with great service and decor. Breakfast or lunch you won't go wrong. Best part is milkshakes and burgers.

I went with my wife for lunch and breakfast for her on a Friday after a visit to Trutone for a hearing aid pricing schedule. It was a little crowded but that is to be expected at 11:30 am.

Came here yesterday with my cousin for breakfast. It was her suggestion to eat here. We had a 15 minute wait for a table and good thing we decided to wait. This was one of the best breakfast I have ever eaten. My cousin and I decided to order different things so we could share. I had the banana pancakes which were as good as the ones I make at home. She had the crab, tomato and Swiss cheese omelet That was to die for. It was excellent. We had a friendly waitress who was efficient and brought our beverages quickly. It was crowded here but so worth waiting a while for a table and our food.

Wonderful 50's decor and atmosphere. The have syrups and make their own sodas. I tried almond chocolate combo which was quite tasty. Had a Hoag I e with combo of spinach, chicken and cheese. I added mushrooms. A fun place to eat. Waiter Tony very nice.

We loved the food, The oldfashion Malts were so Good, the Burgers so yummy, & the prices weren't to bad, I got the chili I didn't like it, it had a different spice in it but everything else was Great !

This diner was not the best one I've been to, but it was still very good. It's a good place to stop if you're looking for a good burger and fries, or any typical diner food. There's also a great selection of milkshake flavors. The only problem is that it felt very crammed in there, since the restaurant was too small for the amount of people present, but it was good otherwise.

Cute 50's style dinerish restaurant. Food is great. Milk Shakes are awesome. ALL FLAVORS. Create your own. Try the fries.

Oldies music in the backround sets the stage for a quick breakfast or lunch in a fifties atomosphere. Fast service and familiar surroundings.

Kinda crowded. Cheap food. Not bad if you don't mind neon. Everythings sold a la carte.

After hearing great things about this place I went with high expectations. I had been craving a chili cheese coney and some chili cheese fries for weeks so this seemed like the perfect place. I went in and the line was out the door so then I was REALLY expecting GREAT FOOD! The décor was traditional fifties diner style and very cute. it was packed though and we didn't get seated for about fifteen minutes. When we were seated out waitress was quick to greet us and pleasant. Then I found out they use cheese whiz on their chili dogs and chili cheese fries which I hate. I like REAL CHEESE, so I passed on that and got the bacon cheeseburger and "spicy fries." with a peach iced tea. We got our iced teas about ten minutes after placing the order and they were gross. Not enough sugar and the flavoring tasted cheap. So we waited about twenty minutes to see our waitress again and just ordered sprites. I don't like milkshakes or ice cream but the ones I saw people drinking around me looked tasty so I would suggest them if you are a milkshake lover. The food came about forty minutes later and it tasted like.... nothing. The burger was bland. The "spicy fries" were just fries with what tasted like Old Bay seasoning on them. I was so disappointed. I guess this place is ok if you are just looking for a quick bite to eat, and they are cheap.

Most readers will not recall life in the 50's. I was born in the 70's, so neither can I. However, I spent most of my high school years listening to music from the 50's and 60's, so Nifty Fifty's definitely has an appeal for me. On the speakers, you will hear the XM 50's channel playing non-stop. The entire diner has the feel of something from this period of American history. The only thing that doesn't remind you of this nostalgic period is the menu prices. But of course, we're in the 2010's, so you can't always live in the past. Prices are reasonable for the current era. As for the quality of food, we came for breakfast and it was good, but nothing spectacular. They do have a lot of regulars, so that bodes well for them. Because of its theme, don't except many 'healthy' or organic options. It's like a 50's drive-in. Don't try to make it more than that.

This our first time visiting the location and we were impressed... food was very good... it didn't took a long time to get it and it was fresh... the place was packed, but the staff was very organized, friendly and clean... going back for seconds :-)

Havent been here for years because of covid but stopped while we were in the area. Had burgers, hot dog, dries and onion rings. Really enjoyed it

There are SO many flavors of shakes to pick from that I had to have two one day. The cream chipped beef (for breakfast) is fantastic as are the cheeseburgers (for lunch). I couldn't visit often enough, as my friend wanted to try other places too : (

Our family eat here all the time. Last night we took our four year old Grandson there for dinner. He loves this place. They have great burgers, Texas Tommies, Chicken sandwiches, tenders, nuggets, fries, onion rings and milkshakes. Plus so much more....

amazing shakes and fries...more soda and shake flavors than you could imagine! great for late night snacks :)

I just had a soda ($2.19) & onion rings ($3.84). Really don't like the onion rings. Big, but green specks of some herb & served with some French dressing/horse raddish sauce. Not good. Place seems popular - several other tables have people in them.

Nifty Fiftys has been a favourite of mine, for burgers and shakes for many years, but on this visit to Philly, we had the chance to stop in for breakie. Once again, we were not disappointed ! A veggie omelette big enough for two, hash browns (with onions), and a coffee leaves you full and able to skip lunch. The omelette was great, very flavour-able. The hash browns were made to perfection. The food is great, the service is friendly, experienced and professional. I would recommend Nifty Fiftys to anyone visiting NE Philly.

A ton of different soda and milkshake options! I had a Raspberry Creamscicle soda, Cotton Candy soda, and a Mint Oreo Milkshake. All 3 of these were outstanding! I also had a toasted marshmallow soda that was really gross. Free refills on the soda. The Philly cheese steak and homemade fries were good but nothing special. Took about 20 minutes to be seated. Service was friendly and fast despite them being very busy. They have a pickup option. Highly Recommend if you're in the Philly area!

I ate here twice during my eight day work trip to Philly. Delicious soda. Cannot say enough about how delicious the vanilla Cola was. I ate plain fries, and a plain bacon cheeseburger both times. Service was always fast, friendly, and the food was delicious.

Seating is a little cramped. Food was okay. I had a bacon cheeseburger with fries. It was pretty good, but I would not rave about it. the large collection of sodas available was a huge plus. Price was reasonable. Service was spotty. Food: +1 Staff: even Dining experience: -1 Overall: Average.

This review is confined to breakfast. I've never eaten dinner here, and I I remember eating lunch here twice, many years ago. (I'm not a fan of the "Texas" hot dog, which is split in half.) The egg dishes are consistently prepared as you order them. A side of bacon consists of four slices, always fully cooked (vs blackened crisp!). The waffle is a bit too thick, but fresh. The creamed chipped beef here, as in most places, is heavier on the cream than it is on the chipped beef, but otherwise tasty. The servers try to keep the coffee mug warm, but sometimes fall down on the job. Coffee taste is unique to each palate; the regular java here is just a tad too strong for me, but I neutralized it with an extra half-half. A major attraction is the freshly squeezed orange juice. The large version is a full 12 ounces. Lotsa juice, baby! The toast is buttered by the server..I mean fully buttered, not just a smack in the middle of the bread. There is only booth and counter seating. If you are larger than normal, the booths are uncomfortable. The entrance door feels like a bank vault door to open! And finally, it would not be the "Fiftys" without constant '50s rock playing!

Ordered the 1950 platter (eggs, bacon, and home fries/hash browns) to go and it was really good. It was ready in 10 minutes and the staff was friendly. Definitely recommend this spot if in the area!

With the line of customers extending outside, I expected an exceptional experience. But the crab cake was thin and greasy, the French fries arrived cold (they were replaced when I complained), and the general impression of the kitchen was less than appealing.

A buzzing old school ice cream shop! A numerous assortments of milkshakes. I had the bacon ranch chicken cheesesteak with provolone cheese. (Yummy) fries with the honey mustard spread on top. Husband and Nephew both had a burger , which they raved about. If you miss how good ice cream parlor's were then visit "Nifty Fifty's".

I recently strolled into the Nifty Fifty's on Grant Avenue after my doctor's visit. I was starving because I had to fast. We were seated immediately. I looked over the menu and thought the prices were high, then I asked the waitress if they had any breakfast specials. Apparently they do, but it's not listed on the menu, you have to ask for it. My husband had scrambled eggs, home fries, toast, and coffee. He used to blend coffees so he know good coffee when he drinks it, and said it was very good coffee. I had eggs over medium, home fries, wheat toast, and tea. The mugs were really big for the coffee & tea. We asked for Sweet-N-Low, and creamers, and the waitress brought a dish out filled with both. Normally I like my potatoes sliced, these were like shoe strings, and were excellent! The eggs were done to perfection, potatoes were delicious, and the toast was good. All in all I really enjoyed this breakfast and will definitely go back again. The price was $2.29 each, or $2.25. either way it was less than $5.00 for 2 people.

This is a small very busy restaurant but so worth the wait. The employees are so nice and they just keep moving. The food is awesome to. Never had a bad experience at nifty fifty.

Lots of fun, especially for families with young kids. Food is very good.. Love the fries!! My family loves the milk shakes. A very cute 50's vibe. Very economical. Service is usually good. It's a nice change from the usual chains.

I had a great experience when I went to Nifty Fifty's and I definitely will be returning! I had the original Black and White milkshake, which was literally the best I've ever had! I also had their chicken nuggets and their smothered cheezy bacon ranch fries YUM!! I loved my server, he was friendly, attentive, and very quick. SERIOUSLY, GO THERE! You are missing out on something amazing!!

I've eaten occasionally at the Nifty Fifty's on MacDade Blvd. over many years. The food as I recall has always been very good--burgers and diner fare. Most recently my family stopped for milkshakes. And what milkshakes! If you remember the movie Wall-E, where the people on the spaceship drink and drink until they are too fat and round to walk--that is what Nifty Fifty's milkshakes are like. I kept at my shake long after I was full because it was just so darn good. I paid for it with a stomach ache, but I know I haven't learned my lesson and would go back and do the same thing again today.

When I was a young girl I loved the milk shakes in South Philly. I missed them. No more. Nifty Fifty's opened in Northeast Philly and you can get the best milk shakes just like in the old days. The food is always fresh, the choices are good. It is a fast food restaurant and it is better than the usual fast food places. The chicken nuggets are the best. The french fries wonderful. Only they give you too many. They have delicious fresh squeezed orange juice and many flavors of sodas and milkshakes. You can get a good salad or a fish sandwich. My favorite thing about Nifty Fifty's is that it is always crowded with families. I love seeing that. The help makes it all an adventure. Fun place, good food and not expensive. Juke boxes play fifties songs. they have miles of neon lights, also reminiscent of South Philly ice cream parlors. The one on Grant Avenue is better than the one in Bensalem. But in Bensalem they have miniature golf as well. Bensalem also has games where you can earn tickets and redeem them. But it is too expensive and a rip off for the prizes. Stick to the real one in Philadelphia. It's worth going out of your way if you are ever in Philadelphia to go to the Grant Avenue Nifty Fifty's.

Well I ordered food from this establishment through UberEats and the food came in cold, the fries came in dry and lime little rocks and I paid for the Cheesey bacon ones. No cheese, No bacon . The cheesesteak was supposed to be a pizzasteak and it looked bad. I didnt eat it because THAT was cold also. It could have been way better but it sucked. I won't order again from this one on Aramingo Avenue but I'm still a fan of Nifty Fiftys

Fun place with great food...eat in old style place. The fries are freshly cut from 50lb bags, all the staff look like they have grown up in the place. Great hamburger with a surprize of an onion ring inside!! Milk shakes are so good. Clean place and heart warming staff with a heavy dose of nostalgia. Went to take my husband after work and could not find it...bummer..

Great place for when you are craving a burger and fries, but their milkshakes are what drive the meal home. They have such a wide variety from traditional milkshakes to exotic milkshakes, our favorite is the Death by Chocolate on the exotic milkshake list, every chocoholic should try it. The burgers are also decent, you can put a wide variety of toppings on it. The staff is good and wait time is reasonable. The milkshake is large enough for two people and the small fries are large enough for 2 people as well, if you are watching portions. I see a review below that says they accept cash only, but they must have changed it since then because they accept all major credit/debit cards now.

If this is your cup of tea its awesome, but if you are looking for something that resembles a healthy meal...Look elsewhere. The Cheese Steak, Burger, Fries and Onion Rings were delicious (although I had my Monthly in take of Fat and Cholesterol but it was worth it, next stop Cardiologist...LOL). They messed up 3 out of the 4 orders we made but were gracious in fixing them (that's all you can ask for). The server was less than stellar, once the food was delivered we only saw her once and she corrected our order then was gone till she dropped off the check. I did not appreciate the fact that she threw the kitchen staff under the bus for the mistakes...it doesn't matter who made them you corrected them and everything was fine. unfortunately she felt the need to bring it back up with the check (this influenced the size of the tip I left - I typically tip 20 to 30% knowing how hard these servers have to work, but stuck with the 15% for her because she disrespected her Kitchen staff.

This is a place to go for good food and fun. Bring the kids. Excellent menu. Food Is fresh and delicious. The only negative comment I have is I ate there a year ago. I just recently went back and prices seemed much higher

Great place, we always have a lot of fun here, good prices and great food!! I would love to come back soon!

While driving in Philadelphia I notice the incredibly bright neon 50's lights, and I mean BRIGHT!!! I went the next day for breakfast and was very pleased. The interior is just as corky as the outside. My breakfast was my go to choice eggs and hash, and they did not disappoint. The waitress kept the coffee pouring and was of the nicest folks I met while visiting Philly. I also tried their strawberry shake and it was GOOODD!!! The one down side is that you'll need a GPS to located since it's far from the city center, but worth the drive. Overall Nifty Fifty is a great option especially if you have picky kids, or just want good old fashion food done right. I will be visiting again when in the area.

Visit this place often before eye doctor visits and hair cuts at shopping mall at Grant Ave. My wife usually gets the same thing each visit for breakfast. I get either the creamed chipped beef or eggs sunny side up and no meat.

This is a very great place where enjoy and eat real american style food under colours lights like in the set of happy days. Great food, great Milkshakes.

the interior is really cool, the service as well and in addition friendly and fast. The milk shakes are excellent, food overall very good. just be aware: cash only! but you will enjoy this time travel :-)

Great place. Brought me back in time. Nice place for family. Can't go wrong with the food but don't forget the shake. They are the best in town. Great onion rings. Service was friendly and waitresses and waiter are all pleasant. Prices are reasonable. Had lunch. Looking forward to going back for breakfast. Just wished they served breakfast the entire time they were open.

Nifty Fifty's has a great 50's diner with plenty of great burgers and variety of shakes to reinforce the 50's theme. While waiting for your food, make sure to decorate your own old school diner style hat and don't forget to bring some quarters. Along the front of the restaurant there's 50 or so old school gumball machines with various trinkets inside for the kids. From previous experience, I would highly recommend the burgers, fries (with cheese), onion rings, and the chicken nuggets! Service is always friendly and also very kid friendly.

Went here for dinner while on business travel. I got a steak sandwich, fries, and a soda. Quick, friendly, service in an atmosphere that made me think of Happy Days.

The food here is very good. The milkshakes are to die for. The only con I have is that it is entirely too small so there could be a bit of a wait.

Go it's good and fun. Busy and good service. Neighborhood is busy but safe. Working middle class. You may have wait for a seat.

We had a little bit of a wait, but our server was fantastic. She handled all my Dad's request with ease and humor. The burgers we're delicious and our caramel milkshake was thick and yummy. Topped with whipped cream and a caramel drizzle. I only wish the fries were crispy.

I stopped here with my boyfriend and we were at the counter to order to go since we were in a rush to be somewhere and i let my boyfriend order first and before I even got a chance to order the girl behind the counter quickly told him the total of how much it would be like i wasn't waiting to order with him. When i started adding onto the order she gave me the biggest attitude ever and just had a look on her face like she had a problem with me. Another time I came here with my brother, my 9 year old sister, and my brothers girlfriend to eat dinner, we ordered our food, drinks came out and they were all flat, no carbonation in them at all(we all got different kinds of soda) we waited over an hour for our food to come out(other people who ordered after us their food came out before ours) and when we got our food it was ice cold!!! and they were going to make us pay for it without even eating it! what kind of restaurant does that to their customer? Wanting to make us pay for their mistakes that we didn't even eat. The one that was in Bensalem was 10000000x better otherwise i would have never even bothered coming to this one.

Years ago this place was excellent but as it's been said " all good things must come to an end " and this place is a prime example, the food is always greasy, burgers, fries, etc. is barely edible the shakes are ok but mickey d's does just as good for 1/3 the price, so in the 70's this was the place but no more

it gets an extra star for the fun factor

I usually get a cheesesteak and crab fries with a unique milkshake! Great service, atmosphere is average but still has that back in the day look to it,for like $30-40 you can get a feast which is a beautiful thing for ur wallet lol

Went here for breakfast, ordered a cinnamon bun and fresh OJ. Both were awesome, and the OJ was the best I've ever had. They had a full two pages of milkshake varieties, and lunch and dinner looked like they would be good. Neon signs EVERYWHERE. I will come back for dinner next time I'm in town!

This company has been at this location for about 30 years, each time either myself or if I take my family there everyone leaves with an upset stomach due to the amount of grease in each serving, now we only go for milkshakes and egg creams, we just can no longer trust the quality of the food

We stayed at the hotel across the street and wanted someplace different to go for dinner so we chose nifty's. We got sat right away and service was very friendly. The milkshakes were thick and the burgers were good. I didn't really care for the fries but my husband said he liked them. We had a good experience.

Saw this place on our way into our stay at the Four Point Sheraton and we loved it. Fresh squeezed orange juice every morning, the usual breakfast items from a diner and delicious milk shakes. I got the philly cheesteak scramble and that was also amazing. Prices on perfect! Great place! Can't wait to go back when we visit this weekend.

I asked for a peanut butter cup shake thick. I like to eat them with a spoon not straw. It was PERFECT. Super tasty and spoon worthy. The chicken nuggets were really unique and cooked just right. I liked the food so much I came back 2 days later (here on business). This time I got a burger and shake. The shake was not quite as thick as the first time, but still great. The burger was surprisingly good. I was not expecting it to be that good. Lastly this place is a Pokestop for you Pokemon Go players. Eat and Play. Win.

We use to have a Nifty FIfty's in south philly unfortunately it closed, i sure miss it. Have gone to a few other locations including this one and the staff is terrific they handle a high volume of orders with fairly quick time, the menu is great, good prices and the food is awesome. It has such an old time feel and the selections of both food, desserts and fountain soda/milkshakes are great. The fries and burgers are freshly made and all in all it's a fun and tasty experience.

Flew into Phila after a cancelled flight, then a two hour rain delay. We were tired, grouchy, and starving. Our plan was to eat at Reading Terminal Market, but that was not to be. After searching for alternatives, we found this place. The place is small and we had about a 10-15 minute wait. So glad we waited. The burgers/cheesesteaks were good and the fresh cut fries were out of this world! The large size was huge. It was also nice to have birch beer again! We were in much better spirits by the time we left!

We love going to get shakes at Nifty Fifty.. my favorite is the chocolate covered strawberry... the icecream is to die for, trick is to order the shakes to eat in, but then ask for to go cups.. basically you get more when you drink them there

Great food, but slow service and don't take credit cards.

OK, so the food is mediocre because its standard American food...fried and sloppy and greasy but delicious!! haha, you cant get better than this when you want good old American food and this is perfect and hits the spot. the smothered fries are the best and they also have some fun stuff to keep this kids occupied!

We went here on Sunday, as a group of 6, thinking it would be a good quick easy lunch, we were wrong!!!!! We waited forever, over an hour just to seated! They kept seating party of4's in the table for 6's ( they don't have many spots for bigger parties). The food was gross , cold and tasteless, we sent the fries back, pretty sure they didn't get cooked at all, they were ok, When we got a new basket, Someone in the party ordered a chicken cheesesteak, was served a cheesesteak, server said o that's the kitchens fault, didn't offer to have anew one made, no sorry nothing; the milkshakes were definitely the best part but they weren't even good!!!!! The bananas foster tasted like unriped banana and that's it, no other flavor! After $70 and more then 2 hours it was such a waste! Much better places to go in the area!

Met my nephew for breakfast at nifty fifty at for breakfast. Both my nephew and myself enjoyed it. We asked for our potatoes well done and the hash browns came out perfectly as asked. The eggs were cook as ordered. The server was attentive asking us if we wanted more coffee and re- filled out waters without asking. Definitely would return their for breakfast. Before 9:00 breakfast special is $ 2.99. Great deal.

I love the milkshake selections. The food is all good diner quality. Can be very busy at times. Fairly clean but I am OCD so what I think might not be fair. Fries seemed a little greasy. The 50s theme makes this place real.

Stopped for pregame lunch and was served at counter the best chocolate egg cream. The black and white milk shake was too rich. The Royal burger and fries were very good as usual.

A friend told us about this place and we defiantly agree with them a very good dinner. The menu was simple and everyone was very friendly. I just got a cheese burger and spicy fries. It was simple but so good ! I can't wait to go back to get a milkshake!

Plenty of places have good burgers, bu tkids seemto like the very informal place

This spot is amazing for an eat. I love the food and our waiter Justin was phenomenal and we had a great time. Little to no wait time.

I love taking my teenager and her friends to Nifty Fifty's. The servers are always great, very nice, and seem happy to be working there. There are so many milkshake flavors it boggles the mind. I just wish they made some kinds with soymilk or almond milk for the lactose intolerant . . . I am always tempted because all the flavors sound sooo good! The food is always good as well, nothing really healthy, not great for vegetarians (although they do serve veggie burgers), but it's all fun food, burgers and fries type things. It is so cheap it is like the prices were set to match the 50s theme. Never had a bad time or a bad meal there.

This morning I stopped at Nifty Fifty's for a quick, simple breakfast. My time was limited and the location was ideal. I have eaten there previously but not for a year or two. I was seated promptly and was brought coffee. My order was taken, 2 eggs, potatoes, toast and turkey sausage. The service was very slow, 15 minute for this simple order, and the food was lacking. My eggs were over cooked and tough, The sausage patties were terrible, a foul, stale taste. I left them on my plate. Since delivery was so slow I did not have time to address the problem with the server. When I told her when paying my bill she was apologetic. I won't be returning in the future.

I love Breakfast here. Fairly priced and good Ellis brand coffee. I love the fact that They have a half belgian waffle In the menu. After enjoying my turkey bacon and homefries, I want a little sweetness but cant fit a stack of pancakes or a whole belgian waffle which makes the half just perfect!! Service is quick and nice. You must get there early though because it can get crowded. It may not be the number one place in town for breakfast but its a 5 star to me!! I definitely recommend it and will return.

Had breakfast here with my husband and a friend. The service was quick even though the place was packed. We sat at the counter which was nice. Our food was delicious. Portions were great and pretty good prices. The service was best of all. I will go back for sure.

If you live in philly or not...you must go here the food is really good but little pricey but worth it. I took my husband & we both ordered cheeseburgers, cheese fries, chili dogs and shakes we couldn’t finish our food. We had to take our chili dogs home because we were stuffed. Best chili dog & thick shakes ever 👍🏽

Dropped by for a quick lunch late in the day. The setting and service was great with a good milkshake and onion rings. The buffalo chicken cheese steak was okay. We'll be back.

Amazing and tasty foods. It had one of those old school feels theme and the foods taste fantastic. The milkshake is my favorite. Big enough to share.

We had omelettes, pancake and waffles. It was all tasty and better than expected. We loved the restaurant atmosphere and the service. We had to wait in line for ten minutes to get a table, glad we waited

There was a time long long ago when this place did not accept credit cards, they do now. For us on duty pilots they offer good food at a good prices and good service also.

Haven't been here for awhile, but decided to have burgers for dinner. No reason to make your own when the ones here are so good. The are made fresh not frozen. They aren't huge, but you can get a double. I like just the plain old cheeseburger with fresh cut firies. My husband likes the Leo burger with homemade onion rings. I think the Leo is a cheeseburger with tomato onion and relish but don't quote me. They have the best milkshakes and so many varieties you could have a different one every time you came. The place does get crowded so be prepared for a wait. It is worth it.
Greasy.
A lot of workers, mostly uninterested in their customers. Food is slow to come, wait people disappear while talking with their fellow employees.
