My friend and I had Sunday brunch at NIttis. It’s the most reasonably priced brunch place in West Midtown Manhattan. I had the vegetable frittata and my friend had a giant hamburger and truffle fries. Both dishes were excellent. Service was fast. They can easily open one side to the open air. Definitely go there prior to Sunday matinee!

Great service and excellent food And great music! We are Italian and we know god food and Nittis did not disappoint! Amazing shrimp francese!

My daughter Sarah and I have been at Nittis 4 different times and each time is amazing. The staff is so nice and the food is delicious. It’s a must stop when you come to NYC. You won’t be disappointed.

we went there for lunch yesterday. My daughter who is 7 is very picky. They do not have a children's menu, but the chef made the best chicken fingers and french fries we have had in a long time! My meatball Panini was great and the french fries are really delicious

Booked dinner here on a whim during a recent trip to NYC and was pleased from start to finish. Nitti's deftly combines old-school NY Italian-American and modern ideas to deliver satisfying meals. The bar serves excellent cocktails: the Hell's Kitchen Sour is superb, with great balance and flavor. Husband had lasagne, which he said was one of the best he's ever had. Based on the bite I had, I'd agree. I had paparedelle bolognese, which was also superb. I had no room for dessert, but husband had cheesecake, which also elicited raves. Service is friendly and unrushed. The space itself is comfortable, and well situated for Javits conventioneers or tourists wanting a respite from Times Square, but is not 'touristy.' It is well-suited to small groups, families, or couples. Our visit to Nitti's scratched every itch we had for a meal after a very long day. We'll be back!

This is a very nice restaurant. The staff are attentive and the food is supreme! The ingredients were fresh and flavorful. Highly recommend.

My son and I had a fabulous meal at this restaurant . It was recommended to us and I was wondering if we should just head to Little Italy instead. I am so glad we went here. They have these huge garage doors that open to the street and we sat in one of the spots that feels outside but is inside. I had the paccheri vodka (recommended from the server) and my son had the spaghetti and braised meatballs. I loved the shape of my pasta (unique) and he said the meatballs were to die for. The montepulciano was one of the best I’ve had. We chose the cannoli for dessert and it truly reminded me of Italy. Beautifully presented also. What a fun night!

Nitis was an amazing surprise that was near our hotel. The staff was amazing Every dish was on point. The atmosphere was so welcoming. Highly recommend.

Dropped in by chance wanting a meal near our hotel. Staff were very attentive and friendly, and food was quick and very tasty at an affordable price.

After doing some Google searches and reading reviews, we knew we wanted to try this restaurant while in NYC And we’re so glad we did. The complimentary garlicky bread to start was delicious. Our party of 4 enjoyed 3 orders of spaghetti and meatballs and the Bolognese with burrata. The Food came out unexpectedly fast, which I would have preferred to sit and enjoy my cocktail for a bit before our entrees arrive. But all in all, drinks, food and service were all great. I would recommend and definitely eat here again. Unfortunately we were too full to try anything on the dessert menu.. maybe next time.

Stumbled across Nittis on the last day of a short trip to NYC. Greeted and seated straight away on arrival. Service was good with both waiters very attentive. It was only a light bite as we were due to travel shortly but I had the most amazing meatball sandwich and my other half just had some mozerrella sticks. Disappointed we found this lovely little place on the last day, even more so that it was only a 3 minute walk from our hotel!!

This was a great find in NYC's Hell's Kitchen area. The menu was Italian with so many choices it was hard to decide. The wait staff were attentive and helpful, but not intrusive. The Fagottini Porcini was superb, and the Spaghetti with Walnuts had a totally unique (and delicious) flavor. Portion sizes seemed a bit small, but made up for size with wonderful taste. Excellent service. A bit pricey, but well worth it. I will happily go back next time in NYC

Great food and services in a nice open air atmosphere. Owner and servers were exceptional. Food was amazing. Prices were reasonable. Menu offered a nice variety . We had apps entrees and dessert and everything was terrific.

Excellent food and great vibe. Server Eli was charming and attentive. Ordered spinach ricotta ravioli in sage butter sauce. OMG! Also linguine with clams and Caesar salad. Chatted with manger when leaving to express thanks and complement amazing staff.

I have walked by Nittis many times and always doing something else other than searching for a great restaurant. These folks understand true hospitality from the moment you walk in the door! I was very warmly greeted and went to the bar for dinner & a cocktail. I decided I'd rather have a table and they were very kind to seat me at a lovely table with a view. The vibe was very relaxing, The feel of the place from the interior design to the background music bleeds a classic New York Style from days gone by! The owner/manager was walking around engaging guests and paying attention to every detail. Much more than just a casual "check in" but an honest interest in a chat and sincere thanks for coming in. Rare in this city! I was blown away by the roasted brussel sprouts with fresh cranberries & candied walnuts. I don't even like nuts and the dish was FABULOUS! I then tried the mussels in a completely unique white sauce with garlic, cucumber, tomatoes & more- DELISH! My entire experience was quite unexpected and now Nittis is my new "must do" every time I'm in the city. Thank you Nittis ! To finish, I was treated to an espresso & a dessert bite!

Saturday night dinner for four. 8:00pm reservation. Specials menu food was really good for other 3 in the party. I had gnocchi off main menu. Wait was very long for drinks and good thing we ordered apps and entree together because it was 40 mins before receiving apps and after apps bread arrived at table. Entrees took another 20 minutes and they were not hot, asked for grated cheese for gnocchi and by the time it arrived my gnocchi were on the cold side. Portions are on small side for Italian food and prices were high for portion size. Good drinks! Needs time management for serving . Probably wait and give it another try.

Went here on a recommendation. It wasn’t bad. Staff was great. But overall the food was bland. Nice atmosphere. The food just needed more seasoning

Disappointing. We spent WAY too much for a less than average Diner type meal. Three of us. The menu for the house wine said,’Ask server about brand and vintage’. We asked about the cab and he said, ‘it’s cab’. It was nasty cheap wine. Chicken parm wax average. Salmon / complete plate lacked seasoning. Not salt on table. $350 dollars later for 3 people. Was a horrible rip off.

My daughter and I traveled to New York for vacation and to celebrate her belated bday. She saw this place online that had great reviews and we booked it for her bday dinner. It was a very easy walk from our hotel, 3mins, so it was very convenient. We decided to dine outside. We were seated and immediately asked what we wanted to drink. We were ready to order within 10 minutes except that there was no server on sight. So we waited...to the point that I almost got up to get someone. About 10 minutes later the sever showed up. Not friendly at all and certainly not very vocal. I could barely hear him over the street noise but our order got placed. The tomato bruschetta was really good as was their table bread. The entrees came. My daughter had the spaghetti with braised meatballs which was good. I had ordered one of the specials of the night, chicken San remo. I've eaten slightly more than half of my chicken when I had to stop. The rest of it was tough and rubbery and I could not eat it. I had to call over someone else to get my waiter, who btw was MIA after taking our order. Our server came out and I explained the situation. He just said sorry about that, took the chicken and never told me what the plan was. So we sat there for another 15 minutes waiting. I finally flagged someone else and ask for the manager. My server reappeared at which point I asked for his manager. This is when things went completely south. The mgr. came out with a defensive look on his face. Immediately proceeded to cut me off and tell me I got chicken muscle, that is not their fault and that the item was removed from my bill. I had to keep talking over him to get a word in! When he was finally listening to me I could tell he really was not. As I was talking his eyes kept wandering to his right, clearly not interested in what I was saying, at all. He left. We waited another 10 minutes and I finally had to ask someone else for my bill which in turn my server brought. This meal was by no means a cheap meal. I was definitely expecting more than what we got. Food and service were very disappointing to me and if I'm ever in NYC I will not be dining there and definitely will not be recommending this place.

My friend and I visited this intimate, Hell’s Kitchen restaurant shortly after it opened a year ago and could not wait to go back on our annual NYC trip this year. Warm cozy atmosphere in winter but in warmer weather the glass wall opens up and you are part of the NYC street scene. A wonderful, eclectic mix of cocktails to sample either at your table or the cozy bar area. Delicious pizza and a Caesar salad we loved. The owner, Will, is a delight and makes you feel like you have come home. Also offers tasty pastas, etc. A very special neighborhood experience!

Had dinner here tonight. Food brilliant and really great staff! Would thoroughly recommend anyone wanting Italian food.

Disappointed by both the food and the service. Pizza was dry and ultra thin, service was slow and almost ignored. Wasn’t impressed at all and wouldn’t eat here again

Interesting appetizers and solid traditional Italian dishes in a nice atmosphere. Good cocktails too. Lasagna and grilled pears were a hit

Most delicious Chicken Mama Mia and pasta with vodka sauce. We’re glad it’s open with outdoor dining, we’ll be back!

Had a delicious meal and sat on the terrace. Glass of pinot grigio + bruchettas+ brussel sprouts + steak+ asperguas, everything was delicious!

From the moment we walked in the door Nittis enchanted. We were greeted warmly, seated promptly, and treated better than family. Our helpful waiter answered questions, took drink and apertivi orders and let us relax and enjoy one another and the excellently curated atmosphere. And the food! I used to live in Italy and Nittis nailed it. The pasta was fresh, the flavors were on point. I was in heaven. I immediately wanted to return every night and for them to move to Indiana to open one near me. All of that was before I even tasted dessert. Dessert was Italian cheesecake, and theirs is to die for. You should absolutely order pasta and Italian cheesecake at this restaurant. Every single one of the six of us loved our pasta dishes, and while I tried the other desserts (chocolate salami but called something else and cannoli) and they were delicious, tasting exactly as they should, nothing beats that Italian cheesecake. Unfortunately I ate it before I took a picture. Allora. Bravissima!

Very friendly people and really good food. Prices in New York are high, but here we had the feeling that price and quality were ok. We would definitely recommend this restaurant!

Amazing place with very excellent food!! The owner is such a special man. The food is fresh, delicious and well seasoned!!

My husband & I stopped by Sunday evening for an impromptu date night and, as per my previous review in April 2019, all was FABULOUS! The restaurant was pleasantly lively for a casual Sunday evening in February. There was a nice crowd & lovely, happy, chill vibe. We were seated towards the back by the garage doors, but were given a choice of banquette as well. Before we even got to sit down, the owner, Will, came over to say "hello" with a warm, friendly greeting. We were quite impressed that he remembered us! He stopped by during the course of our dinner to make sure we were happy and taken good care of, which we were. We even had a nice conversation at the end of our dinner prior to leaving. Having a genuinely friendly owner there really adds to the experience and makes you feel welcome. The dining experience was also as exceptional as last time. We were waited on by 2 personable, professional, attentive waiters. We ordered 2 apps (mussels & the meatballs), a pasta (porcini mushroom ravioli), and 2 entrees (chicken parm & the short rib). All were SUPERB!!! Presentation was impressive, flavors on point, and very authentic cuisine. We had so much food that we took home doggie bags. We also ordered specialty cocktails, despite their extensive wine list, and those too were delicious. If my husband & I didn't cook so much we would definitely come here more often! I HIGHLY recommend a lovely, wonderful dining experience here!!!

Absolutely fantastic food and service. Very attentive servers without being intrusive. Very nice wine selection and stunning desserts (creme brulee).

Wonderful food& service. A nice quiet little place that was perfect after a day in the city. Plus it was close to the hotel!

Eclectic decor by owner’s son. Hands on ownership as he stopped by our table to say hello. Fresh flowers on table. Very clean. Food outstanding. Service exceptional. Visiting from Phila. It was like dining in south Philly

We stopped in for a late lunch. We enjoyed salads, a burger, an eggplant panini, and caprese panini. They were delicious, served with tasty truffle fries. Kudos to our wait staff and the bartender.

Nittis, in Hells Kitchen was very accommodating to our large group of 16, especially during the very busy Christmas season. .The service was excellent and very friendly. A large, yummy, Italian menu suited all tastes from ages 8 to 70.

I really enjoy the food here but the service very bad. The server didnt asked for water. The food came very late and the drinks too.

The pasta dish I ordered was excessively spicy, you couldn't eat it. Good attention. Nice place.

This is one of the best restaurants I’ve eaten at. Service is incredible, food was amazing. I can even compliment the coffee. Dessert was so good we went back the next night just for dessert. We will be back the next time we are in NYC!

We were here mid afternoon..lovely spot and great food and service ..would definitely come back if we ever are back in the city

Went here for brunch today with a friend because it was close to my hotel. What a cool looking place. We ordered the nanas salad, vegetable frittata and lemon ricotta pancakes. All delicious and service was great. We will definetly be back.

On 9th Avenue a great Italian. The food was really excellent. Service was attentive and friendly. Good portions but not outfaced. Seemed like mostly locals in there. Highly recommend.

Nittis has an excellent dinner menu but we come in during happy hour so enjoyed the short menu. Yummy Margherita pizza and cocktails. Had a nice time people watching on 9th Ave. Service is excellent.

Was looking for an authentic NY Italian meal and found a GREAT spot! I had the homemade moon shaped pasta special with delicious garlicky dipping bread and it was deliciouso! The owner checked on all the patrons & truly cares how your whole experience is! Family friendly but also a great place to have an evening business meal.

I recently celebrated a friend's birthday at Nittis and had the best time. Their authentic Italian cuisine was absolutely delicious, and the entire staff was warm, welcoming, and attentive. Great atmosphere, and they truly went above and beyond to make the birthday celebration special. Highly recommend Nittis for any occasion!

I loved the food and the service but this restaurant is not a good choice for a business dinner or a romantic date night. I think this restaurant is a converted garage so they kept some of the garage doors open and the front door also. Because of the location there were horns constantly blowing and you could hear all of the busy rush hour street noise. Maybe they only have the doors open in the summertime but it can be very distracting when you want a little privacy or just a quiet place to eat your meal. My pasta was wonderful and our waiter was very attentive so no complaints there. Mostly I just didn’t care for the NYC “ambiance” in the background. I would visit again because I loved the food.

Last night in New York and having stopped here for drinks decided to return. We both enjoyed our food with hubby commenting it was his best meal. We had dined at Balthazar so that’s saying something. He had a pasta dish, I had salad and we followed it with dessert. The desserts were scrumptious. Our best meal, great service and the most reasonably priced. Well worth a visit.

Being a New York City resident all my life- I always look for those perfect little spots. This is perfect! I always struggle finding a good spot to eat when going to the theatre or MSG for an event. I found my new spot. The food is amazing and the ambiance is awesome. Unbelievable Dinner and spectacular deserts!! I have already been there 3 times and I am looking forward to my next visit. We parked right there before dinner and our play so on the way back we stopped back in to have a drink before leaving!

We had dinner here last night because of the great reviews. Let me unpack our experience - Atmosphere - a lot more casual than what we were expecting. Basically sports bar ( 2 giant TVs )meets Italian restaurant. Service - hectic and slow. Took over 25 minutes to get our cocktail. Waiter seemed like he was annoyed to be working. Disappeared once we got our food. Food - biggest disappointment. We had to ask for some bread. You get white plain, and what tastes like yesterday's bread, sliced and heated. Calamari was soggy and undercooked. The chicken Parm was so salty I ended up drinking two liters of water after dinner just to get all that salt out of my system. Drinks - my negroni was average at best. My husband didn't care for his specialty drink either. Bottom line - no point in returning. Better options nearby.

Looking for an Italian dinner in New York City on the Fourth of July; I made a last-minute reservation at Nittis and wow were the stars aligned! I can honestly say that I’ve never been able to find authentic Italian food in the US until I stumbled upon this amazing gem! Situated on the corner of W 39th St and 9th Ave in Hell’s Kitchen, I found a piece of Italian Heaven! A quaint setting that holds 68 for indoor/outdoor dining plus a full bar; the mood is both intimate and eclectic. From the intriguing art design on the walls, to the detail of the bicolored roses, I was sold on ambiance alone! But the best part was the FOOD! The menu is vast & caters to all palates and appetites. The servings are more than plentiful and for the price you can’t beat it, especially in NYC! I started with a side salad comprised of the freshest kale, green pears, apples, fresh Gorgonzola, and cherry tomatoes tossed in a unique sage orange dressing. For the main course, I settled on Ricotta Ravioli paired with an imported Montepulciano that was perfection. Homemade hot, fresh bread to complement the meal and of course the crème brûlée & Italian Cheesecake were to die for! The ingredients were so fresh, I swear it was farm to table! The pasta is cooked to absolute perfection, served piping hot & melting in your mouth with every savory bite. The owner, Will, and manager, Andre, were very attentive and kept a sharp eye on every aspect making this dining experience one of the absolute best! I will legit hop on a 90 minute train just to eat here again! Perfezione deliziosa!

We were totally charmed by this place. It is only a few blocks from the south end of the theater district. The atmosphere was surprisingly charming given that it’s right across from the back door of the Port Authority. The service was terrific. They were very welcoming and our waiter went out of his way looking after us. Just the right level of attention. We enjoyed the Penne in Vodka Sauce and the pasta with clam sauce very much. The draft Perroni was a special treat, as were the desserts. Highly recommend.

My husband & I stopped in here on a Sunday evening and were pleasantly surprised. We live a couple blocks away and thought we'd give it a shot and glad we did. We were greeted by the nice & friendly owner who sat us towards the back of the restaurant by the garage doors which are along the entire restaurant along W39th Street side. These will be great during nicer weather when they can all open up. The owner, Will (I believe), gave us a warm welcome and chatted with us for a bit which was really nice. Our waiter was prompt and professional and the rest of the staff was great too. The restaurant is a super cool, long space with a bar along one side with plenty of barstools, the garage doors opposite, and tables in between. It is a very warm & romantic feel with deep red banquets, concrete floors, dark wood chairs & tables, and white walls. We both ordered specialty cocktails which were both delicious. We ordered 2 apps and 2 entrees which we shared. All came out perfectly cooked & delicious! Everything was presented beautifully, flavorful, and also timed perfectly. We will definitely go back again and also look forward to trying out their brunch. I HIGHLY recommend dining here!

I almost hate to rate Nittis because I would like to get a table the next time I come. I have eaten great meals in Rome, Florence, Venice, and Paris but this was one of the best dining experiences ever. Nittis is brand new and has not yet been discovered by the masses but it won’t be long. The hospitality, service, and food are all top notch. I ate here with my 22 year old daughter and two friends. We all loved it. For appetizers, we had the charcuterie plate and fried calamari. Both were among the best I have ever had. I had the papardelle bolognese for my entree and it was fabulous. We had a dessert assortment and almost fought over it. I can’t wait to go back and visit again with Nitti. Please don’t take my table.

We were staying on 39th Street and noticed this pretty looking restaurant up the road so we had lunch there today - delicious. I had the vermacilli vongele and my husband had the meatball panini, both were tasty and the truffle fries were amazing and addictive. The atmosphere is relaxed and casual and our servers were efficient and friendly. The owner/manager was very pleasant and ensured our food and drinks were promptly delivered. We were too full for dessert but I took home a cannoli and honestly it was as nice, if not better, than any I had in Sicily. Do try this place, you will not be disappointed.

I was walking along 9th Ave and feeling like an Italian dinner. I happened onto Nittis, it looked nice, lots of people inside and also had an A sanitation rating. The desserts at the counter looked amazing. I started off with an olive tapenade bruschetta, which I found to be less than what I had anticipated. Three pieces of warm bread spread with heavy tapenade. I followed that with the truffle mushroom pasta which was incredible. The bowl was the perfect size and both the mushroom sauce and pasta were incredible. Restaurant has a nice wine selection. A great dessert selection and the staff are simply wonderful. I’d recommend this restaurant heartedly as well as the pasta, and will look to return. This particular pasta was too good to not have again.

Came here for a birthday celebration and we took a bit of a gamble as it looked very inviting from the outside. Couldn't be more happier with the choice of restaurant. Absolutely fantastic. We all had different things but I would thoroughly recommend the steak and chips, unbelievably good. Ambience was excellent and it was a real celebration. When I return to hells kitchen some day, it will be back on the list.

I had dinner as a solo and the staff was very friendly and accommodating. The service was quick, and the food was terrific. The bolognase sauce was great and the pasta was cooked just right. The dessert I had was better than my mother made. Go there and have a great time. Will is the owner and Mark is the bartender and they are two of the nicest people. I will return as they said their pizza is great as well. You will not be disappointed.

When we arrived we were greeted quickly seated. We sat at a table for two. The place was decorated nicely. The Mariah Carey Christmas record was playing so they get a few points for that. I order the chicken parm and my wife order the spaghetti and meat balls. Both came out from the kitchen and both were “bussin” that’s southern slang for it was really good! Also before our meal came out they brought out garlic bread that was delicious. The service was great but the place wasn’t packed either. I would definitely recommend to anyone who’s looking for an Italian restaurant.

I’ve come to Nittis several times when I’m NYC for work. The food is amazing. I always have the spaghetti and meatballs because I can’t order anything else. The pasta and sauce are simply delicious. But the meatballs are simply divine. Paired with the house Cab Sav. I can’t help but keep coming back. The restaurant is cute and has a very homey feel. And the staff are so attentive and friendly. It’s a welcome place after a long day of working out of town.

Late on a Saturday night. 5 of us warmly greeted and then graced by the Owner, who took a few minutes explaining how 9-10 different menu items are prepared. Nice, clean restaurant...very attentive wait staff. Margherita pizza was wonderful, Spaghetti Walnuts light, the Mozzarella Sticks are hand made on site...and tasted like it....VERY GOOD. Very nice place...we will go back!

We were sitting outside on nice small terrace. We ordered two pizzas. I really enjoyed my pizza vodka. A pizza cost about 25 dollar.

Do not fall for that tourist trap! Unfriendly, unorganized staff, very average food quality and pasta dishes with five (!) ravioli and no side dishes that go for 28$. The cherry on top: the 20% "tip" was already included in the bill. When we asked whether that tip was mandatory, we received the answer "this is standard practice in NYC". Which is just not true. I have never paid that much money for such an unpleasant experience and average food. We got the impression that this place just didn't know what it wanted to be and what target audience to attract. The prices screamed "fancy place" - the service, food, TVs and paper placemats certainly didn't.

We visited twice during our stay and found both the food and the staff to be first class on each occasion. The choice is very good and reasonably priced with a large selection of wines. It can become busy, so I’d suggest booking beforehand.. Thank you

My husband and I were walking back to our hotel from a visit to Hudson Yards and decided to give Nittis a try. It was excellent! The windows were open so although you were inside, you had the ambiance of the outdoors. The service was a bit slow but not terrible. The prices aren’t cheap but not exorbitant either. We shared a kale salad ($18). It was fantastic with many toasted almonds, pears, other goodies. The bread was thin toasted slices - we weren’t sure how that would be but it was very good and you had the option of butter or olive oil and balsamic vinegar. My husband and I both had the pappardelle with Bolognese sauce and it was excellent - really yummy and an ample portion.

The food was quite good, the menu was extensive and the service was prompt and friendly. Really what more could you ask for? Oh yes, the prices were reasonable for a midtown eatery.

Only Average unfortunately. Out of all the places in NYC we dined in, this was the only one to disappoint. Tasteless/bland squid appetiser & apparently Happy Hour doesn’t apply if you are dining as opposed to sat at the bar

We had Chicken Lafrance, Pizza, Chicken Parmesan. Everything was delicious! Will definitely come back on our next trip to NYC!!

We were looking for somewhere decent to eat and were drawn to Nitti’s as it looked so pretty. We weren’t disappointed, from the homemade bread to our main and dessert the food was amazing. Real attention was paid to the flavours in the sauce of my chicken and my husband’s steak. All staff were attentive and helpful, we weren’t rushed (which is unusual in NYC!). A great place, definitely worth a visit.

Looking for a nice spot to have dinner before a play, we found Nitti’s quite accidentally. Lucky for us, they could seat us without a reservation on a busy Friday night. Food was amazing, ambiance exquisite, and all-around fantastic! Highly recommend for families, foodies, and fun-seekers!

Stay at the Cassa hotel and noticed the menu in my room and the hotel staff recommended the restaurant . The food was great and cost normal for NYC. The décor was very nice with a friendly bartender. Drinks were good with deserts very yummy .Will return on my next trip to NYC.

Excellent food, great & friendly service, nice ambience with a “real and honest” vibe. No kidding, my wife and I had a delicious meal and a really special experience. A family owned restaurant, super nice owner who wants to know you are enjoying your dinner. You will want to go back for more. And the desserts … :)

We’ve visited NYC for many years, and have had a lot of disappointing meals. This was NOT one of those. Food, service, and personal touch were all excellent and for the first time, we have a “go-to-place” in NYC. Here are hilights of our evening: - Multiple visits from Will, the owner. Very passionate and nice guy. - Wine decanted and rested properly. A perfect touch. - Faggotini Porcini was an outstanding and unique mushroom pasta dish. Taste was out of this world, but very rich, so you will want to share. - Classics done to perfection: calamari, grilled Caesar salad were both traditional and done perfectly. After the dinner, I ran into a guy with a Nitti’s bag and chatted a bit. He is a local and thinks Nitti’s is his #1 both food and service. Please go- we need these great restaurants to thrive so we can visit every time we come to NYC.

Can I just say that this restaurant is a little gem. Will the owner and Jay our server were excellent they made us feel so welcome and along with that, the food was awesome. To say they have only been open 2 months is a credit to all of them. Keep it up guys and the cake with candle was much appreciated.

Authentic Italien cuisine!! Perfekt service! Delicious! Very good wine list! Chef’s advice was excellent! The steak was perfect. The pasta al dente

We loved Nittis and were so happy to find a good Italian restaurant in Midtown. Really nice décor and ambiance as well. The pasta is homemade. They even make their own chocolate bars, which are decadent and delicious. We were a party of 7 and we all had a great time.

The food and atmosphere here is really nice. Just a pleasant place for some good Italian food. It is on a corner, so one side it glass doors that can open to provide an al fresco experience on a nice night. What makes this place stand out is the service. The owners are so friendly and welcoming that it makes your experience even better. Definitely recommend.

Great restaurant. My salad was delicious, the stuff is very friendly, good food, good drinks. I can really recommend it!

We went here on our first night in New york. It was a good meal at a fair price. The staff were friendly and it's a clean little place too.

Good choice of menus, including a great prix fixe menu. Staff friendly and gave an attentive service, and quality food. Typical NYC prices. $66 for two.

We were only there briefly but had a nice meal. The soup was particularly nice, although that changes every day, I presume. Helpful staff.

New York Italian restaurant. Corner location with windows that open fully in warm weather. Which unfortunately lets in the smells of the street. Smallish menu of italian standards. Food OK, but service was very slow. About $100 for 3 dishes and 3 beers.

Visited the restaurant on a Thursday evening. The food was ok but not more. The pasta should have been cooked a little longer, and the crème brûlée should have been burnt a little more, but good taste. Felt like the chef didn't put his soul into preparing the food. Need to level up! Then the music is played too loud so you can't talk!!

We had a fantastic, delicious lunch. Faiz was an excellent & welcoming host. Salad greens were fresh, pizza was super yummy. Spotless, clean location. All Covid restrictions in place. Felt very safe. The raised doors kept ventilation flowing. I highly recommend.

While in NY for Thanksgiving, we were trying to find a small, local Italian restaurant. So glad we found Nitti’s. From the moment we walked in, the sound of old Billy Joel songs set the mood! The owner seated us and told us the story of how he got started and how his sons created the artwork and helped him design his place. The garage doors that provide full windows all around the restaurant are very cool. The food was delicious and very fresh. The pappardelle bolognese was delicious and the chicken parm was crunchy and flavorful. The service was great and the staff very friendly. Since they have yet to have their grand opening, I would make 2 suggestions. To set the mood, i would suggest the bread delivered before the meal should be fresh and warm. It was a very cold night and to bite into fresh, hot bread would have been amazing. The homemade butter, olive oil and balsamic would have been appreciated better if the bread was warm. After dinner, we ordered cheesecake and cookies for our group. The cheesecake was some of the best we’ve ever had but the cookies were cold and hard. Again, it was freezing outside, so warm cookies would have been amazing. Other than that, we truly enjoyed Nitti’s. We hope they do very well and are going strong on our next visit to NY! Keep up the good work!

Great food, music and atmosphere removed from the noise and crowds. We had a lovely family evening. Great beers, wine dishes and desserts

Atmosphere looked OK with open windows, that’s why we went. Slow service Salade we ordered were too small. Lasagne was tasteless. And one the pizza’s was overcooked! We don’t recommend this.

I hadn't been back to many restaurants in a while due to the pandemic and Nittis was no different in this regard. The space remains the same. It is clean, social distancing protocol is in effect. With the weather improving, their side doors were opened and many were sitting outside just after work probably for happy hour. I was seated as soon as I walked in and was given a menu and ice water and a basket of cornbread. I also ordered an Aperol Spritz since it was happy hour. After studying the menu further, I decided to get the cacio e pepe which is usually delicious. It was delicious. It was made with a flat pasta noodle and cracked black pepper and cheese. I finished eating and sat for a while before ordering a double espresso. it put a nice cap on the meal. The price for a meal is comparable with other restaurants in the area and the staff is attentive and accommodating. It is a great little place to go if you are pre-movies or pre-theater or for a drink after either. Do it!

My mother, aunt and I had dinner here one night while visiting the area. We are Italian and cannot find good Italian food in Arkansas so we were excited when we saw this establishment. We were greeted immediately and seated immediately as well! Come to find out (after reading the website) the owner was the host and greeter!! I have been in the restaurant industry for 20+ years and to find an owner at their own establishment is hard to find and definitely on a Saturday night. He stopped by each table to visit and told us his "back story". I would definitely come back to Nitti's if I'm ever in NY again. I had the lasagna, i forget what my aunt had (it was delicious though), and my mother had the gnocchi. Daniel was our server and he was great! The rest of the staff were helpful and they all worked as a team! We also had the bruschetta and it was all sooooooo delicious!!!! You must try Nitti's if you are in New York!!!

Met a friend for dinner after work at Nittis on a cold & rainy Thursday evening in December & was very pleased with everything - from the warm welcome & friendly service to a wonderfully fresh cocktail from an innovative drink menu (much needed after a stressful workday). I ordered the whole fish which was excellent. My friend ordered the eggplant parm & loved it as well. For years, my husband & I have frequented the owner's Fort Lee, NJ restaurant Pomodoro - a true gem in our local neighborhood. So pleased that we can now have authentic, delicious Italian food on both sides of the Hudson!

We had a wonderful meal with meatball app(excellent sauce and tender meatballs), arugula salad with roasted peaches and pancetta, pasta made in house (all their pasta are made in house) with vodka sauce. Dessert was bombalini stuffed with Nutella - and a great bottle of Italian red reasonably priced. I highly recommend this restaurant- a jewel in the theater area

The food is fresh, plentiful and great tasting. The menu is extensive so there will be something you enjoy.

Went for happy hour. Sat at the bar. Good bar menu with several excellent small plates. Definitely will go again when I'm in NYC.

We were trying to find a “safe” place around port authority besides pubs. This happened to be on 9th Avenue right behind port authority. Seemed comfortable and with less crazy people. People seemed to be having a good time at their tables. We only sat at the bar with drinks and snacks. I was surprised to find that the white and red wines during happy hour was actually imported. It was good. The cocktails were ok. The seats were comfortable and no one on top of us. Bathrooms were downstairs and clean. I’ll go again if I need to be around port authority.

PROs -VERY CLOSE to Hilton DoubleTree so convenient -VERY FRIENDLY SERVICE- smiley and efficient -LOTS OF GOOD FOOD OPTIONS CONS -TERRIBLE MUSIC... it was very LOUD electronic music. Place was too loud too -$19.00 for a glass of so so Italien wine served in a Dollar Store glass -FOOD WAS SERVED COLD... horrible for Italien!! I was a bit disappointed...

My neighbor (suburban CT) recommended we try Nittis and it was a terrific one. This relatively new Italian restaurant is a comfortable and appealing setting with a welcoming owner and great staff. As important was the incredible food! We shared an arugula salad and each chose a pasta entree. I had the Buccatini Pomodoro and my friend ordered the Fagottini Porcini. The simple and fresh pomodoro had a homemade buccatini, and the fargottini was over-the-top delicious, and as expected, a much "richer" tasting dish. Fortunately we shared so could taste it all. We'll definitely go back! Thanks Will for a great dinner.

This was a very friendly place! We could sit outside - without much traffic due to the location. The owner - Nitti - came to introduce himself and see if all was well. We loved the food! It is a terrific, don't miss it - kind of place!

We had dinner as a family, in the heart of New York, well-made Italian food. Nice atmosphere, close to Broadway and Times Square. The service was super good, we had three options of pasta and tiramisu for dinner. Prices according to the place. Recommendable.

This place is a corner restaurant and I was there July 3 on a solo trip in NYC . I walked around a few blocks snd decided to go back . It was about to rain and I was seated under an umbrella by Louis and he immediately wiped down the table and greeted me . I knew I wanted a Margherita Pizza and a Salad. Louis was very attentive and so was the other server Mackshel. The pizza arrived it was prepared perfectly and I must Saint was one of the best I ever had. Ima bit of a pizza snob. I asked Louis to pass a compliment to the chef. He did so and The Chef Andreas came out to say hello. A true Italian Chef with a big personality and he was so happy I enjoyed my pizza and grateful. In this day and age whe places are operating bare bones. Limited menus and very limited service . This small place on 9 & 39th does I all just right. They made a dill dreary evening delightful. I ordered a cannoli to go and it was delicious! Do not miss this place if you were in the area of 39th and ninth just a short walk from Times Square you will be so glad that you did. They offer Casual dining experience with good service and great food. Thank you gentlemen! The three of you made my day dining experience, a memorable one! I will be back.

Wow! Nittis was an absolute gem to find! We arrived into nyc somewhat late and missed lunch with a family of 7 so we were all ready for an early dinner! Open table only had a reservation for 7pm and it was 5pm we briefly stopped by at 6 to verify our reservation and the GM took it upon himself to make our reservation happen at the time we showed up. We were not expecting this and it truly made the experience incredible as we felt so welcomed at this establishment. The service impeccable! The decorated interior felt so true to an Italian dining experience and the food was perfection! Snapper a must and the pappardelle was delicious! Thank you Nittis for our Xmas experience

You really should visit Nittis for a superb dining experience. We ate family style and I am still having a hard time picking my favorites. The brussel sprouts and broccoli rabe make eating your greens a treat or try the meatball or calamari appetizers - they were perfect. Our pasta course was delicious, everything was expertly crafted and well seasoned. I really can't stop thinking about the faggotini with the mushrooms - it was sweet and savory and I want more. I thought I couldn't eat anymore but the chicken parm and NY strip were so good I grew another stomach. Which set me up perfectly for dessert which is not to be skipped. The Italian cheesecake was worth every bite. Ok, I have to mention the specialty drinks. They were lots of fun and added to the uniqueness of the night. The bam bam with fruity pebbles infused vodka was like a throwback in time (reminiscent of a white russian but with a new spin) and the mojito looked amazing. The music was a great mix of old and new tunes that kept a great mood without being too loud to enjoy your conversation. The whole dining experience was memorable not only for the food, drinks, and ambiance but also because of the professional service and the attentiveness of the charismatic owners. You really should try it for yourselves.

I have been here twice, once when it opened about a year ago when I had a more substantial meal [bruschetta as an appetizer and a pasta dish with a glass of red wine] it is a large square space with a bar on one wall, seating in the center and tables opposite the windows. The restroom is located downstairs between the end of the bar and the entrance. I was seated immediately and a glass of tap water arrived while I was looking over the menu. I opted for the Nitti burger which came with lettuce and tomato and instead of the french fries, I opted for a small salad. This was accommodated. A pickle spear was also next to the burger. The burger was medium well and was delicious. It was a good meal and it is a good place for either a quick bite or and intimate dinner with conversation. The music selections were very good. I would recommend and return.

Very warm welcome and very close to our hotel. The staff is very friendly, however the dishes are not very tasty. The pasta is bathed in sauce, and the dish in general doesn't have much flavor. It's expensive, and it's average. We will not come back.

Delicious food, great atmosphere The food is lovely. Love the atmosphere, the staff were all really good. Definitely real and authentic Italian cuisine. We had a lovely evening. The only thing that did spoil our evening a little bit was when we tipped 13% and the waiter gave us a bit of a funny look as if to say that it wasn’t enough. This was quite insulting and rude, and it made the tip feel unappreciated, considering it’s not mandatory. That tainted the evening a little bit.

We ate lunch here upon arrival to NYC. Owner was very polite and service was fast. The food was tasty although pricey. We ate outside which was a nice perk On a beautiful day.

Ended up with the family on the recommendation of an American colleague. Very tasty and cozy. Also with many gluten-free options (also pastas). Excellent service. Both for lunch or dinner.

we ended all 3 days of our NYC weekend at this place - great cocktails/bartenders and good food - real buffalo mozzarella which is hard to find and crucial for people who can't have cow's milk.

We had a very warm welcome, the food was excellent and the service really good. I can highly recommend the place. It was a relaxed evening with delicious food after a busy day.

Details matter... I happened upon this place just strolling by on my way to somewhere else. The menu looked great so I decided to eat here. From the minute I walked in you could tell the owners/operators if this establishment truly cared about their business. The set up was very neat and trendy. The bathrooms were best and clean. The music was modern and went with the feel of this place. The big prize here was the food. I ordered the meatball focaccia sandwich with truffle fries. This meatball sandwich was amazing, hot, and super tasty. I finished with a nice snifter if sambucca. What a perfect afternoon lunch. I'd come back again for sure.

Was in town to see my sister engaged in Central Park. Decided on Italian for dinner and found NITTIS. Was greeted warmly by the owner he congratulated the whole group and said he’d make it a special dinner. The atmosphere was great and the staff superb!! The food was absolutely fantastic, my daughter said it was the best pasta that she’s ever had in her life. Sucks for me because she always said my spaghetti was!! Drinks were perfect and the owner gave my daughter a good treat before we left. Highly recommend visiting this restaurant!

Restaurant has been going a couple of months. Il cappo and his father were running the restaurant and looking after the guests. It felt more like a family meal than a restaurant. Staff were friendly, chatty and attentive without being intrusive. Food was excellent. Anywhere that makes bruschetta properly is fine by me.

Very good food. Veal, pasta, potato pizza, eggplant appetizers were all excellent. The potato salad was a nice treat and the first time we’ve been able to find potato pizza outside of Italy. The veal was the best tasting veal dish I’ve had anywhere. The sauce for the Brussels sprout was a bit too sweet for us, but it made my Cabernet taste better (dryer). Desserts were great. Service was just perfect—wonderfully friendly staff made us feel very welcome. The restaurant is small and was very crowded on Saturday night, so we were glad we made reservations ahead of time. Overall price for family of four was very reasonable—a great value for such wonderful food and service.

Greeted and seated immediately. Employees very accomidating and observant. We had a pizza and salad, which were tasty. Then for dessert, loved the cookies. As an added touch the waiter brought warmed milk to complement my cookie. Excellent Service!

Absolutely stunning authentic Italian meal. Mrs said it was the nicest meal she had had in years. Very nice restaurant with just the right amount of music and lighting. Very helpful and enthusiastic staff. Would highly recommend.

My wife and myself walked into Nittis yesterday for dinner and both the food and staff were top notch. This has become our new go to place.

I had been keeping my eye on this space for some time and it only recently opened up as Nitti's. I stopped by to get a copy of their dinner menu and stopped by for dinner later that night. It is a sizable space, square with as bar on one wall seating in the center and tables near the windows on the opposite side. The restroom facilities are one flight down. I was seated immediately and the waitstaff was very attentive from the beginning of my meal. After sipping some water from my glass, I began to look over the menu and ordered s glass of the house red. I ordered the tomato bruschetta to start and then got the bucatini pomodoro as my entree. The bruschetta was delicious and the bread was toasted perfectly. The entree came out nice and hot with some Italian bread and was great! Their menu is varied and has many interesting options. When I finished my meal, I opted to fb orego dessert and got a cup of cappuccino instead. Their music selections went well with the meal. I would recommend Nittis as a worthwhile addition to the Italian food options in Hell's Kitchen!

Friends and I go to NYC twice a year from Chicago. Love this city as well as Nittis. Found last year when they just opened and was blown away. Sat last week by one of these open garage doors and had a delicious pizza and the best grilled Caesar salad I’d ever had. Had a few of their awesome special drinks that Will, the owner, got us. He is one special guy that just adds to the evening with the best sense of humor. Food is the best, great ambience, friendly service and affordability makes for more then a special restaurant...makes for a very special experience. Love this place!

Essential place. Welcoming and helpful staff. Good food and fair bill for New York standards.

We were first-time travelers to New York City. Our hotel casually suggested we try out Nitti's. Nitti's was walking distance from our hotel so one night we reviewed the menu online and made an Open Table Reservation for 7:30 on a Saturday Night. We arrived right at 7:30 PM and was warmly greeted by the host. Located in Hell's Kitchen, the decor was cozy, clean, upscale and welcoming. We were seated right away and welcomed by the wait staff. All wait staff was professional and attentive, We ordered some cocktails and some Brussel sprouts and mozzarella sticks for an appetizer. We received a basket of bread and the wait staff set up plates of olive oil and balsamic. The bread was fresh and warm. Brussel sprouts were delicious. Mozzarella stick warm and crunchy. For dinner, we ordered the lasagna, chicken parm, traditional vodka dish and spaghetti with meat sauce. Portions were generous and plate presentation was excellent. Especially the fresh basil. The wait staff was attentive but not overbearing. For dessert, we wandered over to the case near the hostess and our wait joined us and explained our options. We went with the flourless chocolate cake and it did not disappoint. Warm cake, cold, fresh ice cream and fresh whip cream with berry garnish - superb. Just a great experience and wonderful service and food.

I read the reviews about this restaurant and they were all good. I came in and had a glass of wine while looking over the menu. The staff was very friendly and the food was excellent. I ordered the chicken San Remo and instead of the vegetables and potato I did penne à la vodka. The vodka sauce was excellent and the pasta was made to perfection. The owner stopped over at the table to see if everything was good. The atmosphere was very good and it was not too loud. I will definitely try this again when I come back to New York

Excellent food, atmosphere, service . Recommend to book to avoid disappointment . A really lovely restaurant well worth a visit .

Best meal of our whole trip! We had pizza and pasta and it was delicious, service was great and we didn’t feel rushed at all. The restaurant was lovely, and we sat next to the big open windows/doors and got a lovely breeze. It also felt surprisingly quiet for such a busy city, which was a nice change. Overall was amazing and we really enjoyed it
DELICIOUS!
Delicious! I was here for a work holiday party dinner.... I know, typically the locations they choose are not based on the best food options. Happy to say that this was the opposite. Amazing food, fantastic service! We tried quite a bit of appetizers including the bruschetta (yum) , the calamari (yum), asparagus with walnuts ( delicious) and the meatball (I am still dreaming about that meatball!) The rigatoni pasta was my favorite, although the crowd pleaser was the pasta with truffle and mushrooms. Then came the chicken parmesan... trust me you want to get it. All in all a very successful evening with fantastic food, wonderful service and a great ambiance. Highly Recommended! I cannot wait to go back :)
