Great food, good vibe, excellent service, Family of 5 all enjoyed our meals, Modern twist on Korean food, Fried chicken was perfect and tater tots luvvly, burgers also excellent

Great to know there's another place serving solid burgers. Tried both on their menu and was pleased. The tater tots were a good complement as well.

This is based on my dining experience during the Tasting Collective Event, with 5-course menu of their dishes. The inside is not a large space, but cozy and homey. We ordered a couple of cocktails, Tiger Bomb and Seoul Mule. They were elegant, nice and sweet, and tasty. we enjoyed them both. We got to try their Spicy Cucumber Salad, Roasted Kimchi Burrata, Cured Mackerel Kimbap, Big Bird Bun & Honey Butter Tots, and Black Sesame Crème Brûlée. We loved them all, each dish was crafted with so much love and care. I especially liked the Kimbap, the mackerel was so good! The star of the evening was definitely the fried chicken sandwich and the tater tots. Chicken was amazing, juicy and packed with flavor! I am dreaming about them right now… And the tots! I already love tater tots, but their version with furikake and honey was just incredible! I want to have a huge bowl of the tater tots!!!! We had an incredible dining experience here at Nowon. Everything we tried was above and beyond delicious. Chef Lee is constantly tweaking his menu to make it even better, which is awesome. Their menu is really enticing, and I want to try them all! I can’t wait to go back again and try more of their delightful dishes!

I love Nowon! The Korean fried chicken is amazing and the burgers are soooo good. I've been here twice and will keep coming back.

This place is incredible. Superb decoration. A really top welcome. The service is perfect. The burgers are just Wouaw. 2 French people who came to eat the best burgers of NY

Nowon serves up great Korean fusion with some standout dishes. The restaurant originally started as a burger pop-up in a bar, so their burgers are definitely their signature items. The only reason I haven't tried their burgers yet is because I get a little too excited about the other menu items. My personal favorite dish from Nowon is the Chopped Cheese Rice Cakes. If you like tteokbokki or chopped cheese, this is THE dish. It's cheesy, savory, and chewy, and the tomato and lettuce toppings compliment the hearty sauce well. I also had kimchi fried rice and popcorn tofu the last time I went. While I don't think these are on the menu now, they were both solid and I will be going back to try some new things.

What a find!!!! This place is awesome!!!! The atmosphere was welcoming and exciting! The hosts were friendly and the rest of the staff were amazing!!! Everyone helped to clear plates, bring water and run food!!! I loved the hardworking togetherness the team had! The food…… AMAZING!!!!! The flavors and fusions were so unique! Definitely a foodie’s dream!!! My friend and I did the 7 course meal, split for two!!! What a neat concept!!! Good amount of food and did I mention amazing!! I will definitely be coming back to this restaurant!!! Our server told us that the Bushwick location has the wood fire oven and the East Village location has the wok!!! I wish we had more time to visit the other location!

Nowon had some really interesting food. The cuisine and atmosphere was NYC meets Seoul, South Korea. A rare mix indeed. I was a huge fan of what I ordered: the dry-aged steak cheeseburger topped with kimchi mayo, honey butter tater tots, and some shin-ramyun chicken wings. No buyer's remorse there. The vibes were great. Great crowd, great music, great food. Definitely happy I found this spot. Feels like a place I'd regularly visit!

Lots of news around the famous burger and I would say it was good but not great. The rice cakes with beef and cheese were excellent. Wish they carried more hot sauce options. Service was a bit off with appetizers before drinks and it was a very dark / bar type atmosphere. Was worth the trip, but would not rush back / come back unless somebody was keen to try it. That being said, kudos to the restaurant for the excellent smash burger but the lights and night made the ambience feel “interesting”

This was our 2nd time at Nowon, and it did not disappoint. The food and cocktails are innovative and delicious. Service was great and friendly. And the the vibe and music was so fun and chill. Definitely recommend.

I went to Nowon on 6th to try their well known kimichi cheeseburger. I ordered that and some garlic-honey tots and took in the atmosphere while waiting. It’s a good sized place with ample seating and a small bar area. The staff was very friendly and engaging. My order was brought out pretty quickly and I was finally able to sample their burger, and I have to say it was pretty darned good. If you’re a lover of Korean seasoning then you will like this burger. With the kimichi, the sauce and the other seasonings, it’s definitely worth trying. The side of tots were fantastic. the combo of garlic and honey was unexpectedly delicious. You gotta order them. Overall, it was a nice experience going to Nowon. The rest of their menu looked appetizing so I’m sure I’ll be back.

I love nowon’s take on Korean food. It’s so unique and delicious. I can’t wait to go back! The burger, tater tots, and rice cakes are some of my favorites. I high recommend this place. Top 5 burgers I’ve ever had!

Great location if you’re going to be going to the Mirage later. We started with charred Shishitos then split the smoked truffle burger with the honey, garlic butter tots. They were amazing everybody at the table, had a different cocktail and love them all. There’s outside seating. I would absolutely come back here.
