The best possible way to end a very emoutionelle day at Ground Zero š«¶ Nice food, friendly service in the memory of heros and losses.

The food was the worst I have ever had anywhere,I ordered something simple chicken and fries food was cold when it arrived sent it back they microwaved it but the fries were still cold sent it back again got fresh fries but the chicken was burnt I donāt mind paying for something but it has to be edible this was terrible .We paid 76$ for order of fries ,chicken & a chicken wrap thatās was not for a dog to eat .Then a service tip of 11$ .This place needs to serve decent food not crap .

Close to the 9/11 museum and was recommended by an employee at the memorial. Fun atmosphere. Friendly service. No wait. Burgers were decent but not amazing. Would consider returning.

We were visiting NYC and my son found this gem of a place one night so he brought me there for Mother's Day. It was a short walk from our hotel. We sat at the bar and it wasn't very busy. The bartenders were super nice and service was great. I ordered the pork chop and it was delicious. The walls are covered with patches from First Responders that have visited from all over. We found a patch near us from Bloomington, MN which is our home state. We will definitely go back here. Loved it!

NYPD / FDNY hangout after 9/11. Cold beer, good food, friendly staff. They have a scrapbook of events around the terrorist bombings of 9/11. I have posted a photo of the cover of that photo album.

History in real life. OāHara s is located at the foot of the World Trade Center. A must when visiting the city. The decor is classic with the walls covered with fire and police patches from around the world. The staff is attentive and friendly. The crowd is great and the drinks are always cold. We didnāt eat this time around but the food has been very good on past visits.

Stay for a quick lunch and find great beers and food but the best thing about this place is the atmosphere with counter and lots of police crests from all over the world hanging. Great service

Thank you to the owner and to our server, I believe Giovanni was his name, eyeglasses super friendly. We had a great meal and a great experience. The owner was lovely . We sat down at a reserved open table and he started yelling at us who did we think we are etc so we sheepishly stood up and turns out he was busting our chops. He allowed us to take the table. It was my husband's first trip to NYC so it was a very NY experience, I will never forget it. There were some financial types seated next to us in suits I wondered if our table was reserved for locals from the financial district but it was just after lunch rush so he let us take it. Anyway it was great! What a lovely owner, and great staff, cold beer great food and a love letter to first responders everywhere you look. A museum really. This is the kind of place that does not need positive reviews they are busy all the time but I am so happy to write one. Locals and tourists alike love O'Haras. Buy the tee shirt at the bar $15 bucks and ask to see the book.

Great history and tribute to police and firefighters. Good food and drinks. Friendly atmosphere and fun. If you are interested in 9-11, you need to visit.

On one of those days in NY when it's pouring, the site says opening is at 11 and instead, despite the rain, the owner, regardless of the people who were all thinking of the same time as reported, left us all under water! Compliments!

We discovered O'Hara's on our previous visit to New York City in 2018, and knew that if we visited Ground Zero, we were return. There's a kind of reverence in the air when you walk into O'Hara's and see the wall of first responders patches from all over the world, knowing that this restaurant/pub saw the horrors of 9/11 and has been there for the local first responders. On the other hand, it is a crazy loud fun place to meet up with friends and have a good time!! Each time we were greeted and seated quickly. The staff is friendly and attentive. We enjoyed our beers and sandwiches (burger for him, tuna melt for me) and fries. The servings are generous and the food is tasty! We'll be back!!

Being in the area for an upcoming tour, we had spotted OāHaraās after some research into the area and of course, its link to 9/11. Even before midday, the place was bustling and filled with customers and of course the iconic badges of emergency services from around the world . We were asked to wait for fifteen minutes, which gave us an opportunity to have a drink at the bar. We ended up talking to the manager who is a really funny and friendly person and helped flag down a server to take us to our table. We ordered a Philly cheese and a BBQ chicken sandwich, both of which were absolutely delicious and served in a bagel-style bread. An absolutely brilliant experience just for the sake of sitting down and soaking in the lively atmosphere and rock music.

This is one of the most incredible pubs I've ever been to ANYWHERE in the world, not just NYC. Blocks away to the 9/11 memorial, it has thousands of patches from fire and police stations from all 50 states and other world cities. Service is top notch, as the staff is super friendly and attentive! Special thanks to Joel and Benny (Bernard) for being such amazing hosts. The atmosphere is absolutely awesome, and the bartenders give generous pours!

We were in the area and saw that it had a good rating. The place is authentic and welcoming. We ordered a pulled pork sandwich, hamburger, dogs and chicken salad. All pretty good. Fast and friendly service. I was a little shocked that they directly tipped us a little more than 20%, which was approximately what we were going to leave. But your thing is to let the client choose it. A little expensive, but not exaggerated.

The bar being at ground zero is covered in badges from around the US from police and fire. The scrapbook is cool to see. The beer is good and the onion rings were solid. The shepherds pie was dry and flavorless. The burger was just okay. I'd suggest getting a drink here - but eating elsewhere.

Traditional Irish lunch spot honoring the 9/11 first responders. Huge burgers prepared to your liking, and cold beer. Prompt service with the manager on top of the action.

We knew nothing about this place, other than it was beside the 9/11 area and the Westfield Shopping Centre. We were hungry and decided to try it. Wow, did we luck out. The staff were very friendly, the food and drink no were excellent and well priced and it had a great atmosphere. Highly recommend.

The staff were very friendly and we grabbed three starters to share for a quick lunch after a morning of exploring the area. Chicken tenders were great and the mozzarella sticks were incomparable to the ones you get while eating out back in the UK. Different level of cheese pull. Even the BBQ sauce and marinara sauces were lovely. Only negative is that a service charge is included in your bill, rather than leaving the tip up to us. We did, however, provide an extra tip on top as the food/service was so good

I have not been to OāHaraās in eight years, but when I was there, they had a huge, amazing scrapbook of stories, photos, and other keepsakes from 9/11. That, alone, is worth the trip, but the food, drink, and service are also first rate.

Was a great pit stop for lunch, sitting at the bar having a couple of pints whilst revelling in the history and vibe of this special place. Food was filling and inexpensive. Was a highlight of our trip and a moving place to be

Went here for dinner our first night in NYC and kept coming back every day for drinks or lunch etc. Great pub with great atmosphere, and be sure to ask to see their photo album.

It was spilling down rain so any open door was going to be welcoming. But more so in this fine establishment. There was a lunchtime queue for food, which is always a good sign, with a 5 minute wait time. The gent who seated us was smiley, laughing & witty. The waiter was speedy & smiley. Food was wholesome & plentyful. Aside from the good food & great staff, there was just a wonderful vibe around this bar & Restaurant. It was homely, the restaurant was buzzing, the bar was alive with friendly chatter & laughter and it was easy to see the staff were happy in their job. And this was just lunchtime!!! I need to get back to O'Haras just to sit at that bar and let those good vibes sink in.

Stopped here twice and enjoyed it both times. Lively atmosphere, good music, super friendly staff, fair prices. The food was good, huge portions, we couldn't finish everything on the plate on neither visit. Really tasty Irish stew, though the Shepherd's pie could use a bit more sauce.

Stayed in the hotel next door and came in here a few times and loved it. The whole place is a love letter to the emergency services and the walls are adorned with badges of police and fire offices from all over the world. The service was so good. Everyone was friendly and attentive. The food is great pub food and the drinks were great too. Open late too, which was great. Definitely a good shout for casual drinks in the area

We just took our first trip (only 1 day) to New York and we werenāt sure where we wanted to eat. What a great choice OāHaras was. We began looking for something close to the WTC Museum and stumbled upon this NY staple that had such a strong tie to the 9/11 events. We read that the rescue workers would meet here to eat at the end of the day and the pictures on the wall show what how the pub was tremendously involved in the event. Yesterday, we nearly left after seeing the packed house but the owner met us at the door and quickly got us to a table. We had a burger, Reuben, fries and French onion soup. Everything was SO good and the restaurant owner treated us like family and it really made for a wonderful meal. Thank you for what you did for the community then and the wonderful food and service you still provide today. ā your new friends from Ohio Go Bucks!

Visit on 10.9.25. Absolutely outstanding bar and service, also a glowing tribute to the horrific events of 9/11. Im ex services (from the UK) and wanted to add one of my epaulettes to the vast collection (as a sign of remembrance) Met all sorts of current and ex services there. Fantastic atmosphere, great bar staff, food and drink. It was a pleasure also to meet Mike Keane, who allowed us to look at his portfolio of photos and memories of 9/11. Very humble man, but a fantastic one at that. Thank you for making our visit memorable, we ll return again one day. God bless you all

Visited here 18 years ago when I last visited New York. My parents visited a few years later and put my Police badge on wall. I managed to find it and put a new one next to it. The Guinness was spot on. The history of the place and what happened in 2001 makes with it a place that emergency workers should visit when in New York.

Great food and location. It is not too crowded and the servers were nice. Feels like a true New York experience. A pity they had no desserts.

This is a must visit after a somber day at ground zero. Friendly staff and patrons. Great tribute to our first responders. A place to feel at home, patriotic, proud American. The food is great, the beer is fantastic. The people are better. I love this place.

Stopped by here for a quick bite in the afternoon. The place was packed with people watching a soccer game. We had tons of fun. Friendly local people. Friendly people running the place. Cold beer!

We were looking for a place near the WTC and found this gem. Coming from a firefighter family⦠walking in and seeing all the patches just made me feel at home. We were there for lunch and it was pretty busy but the service could not have been better. We were served very quickly. The food was great and prices were good. Thanks OāHaras!

We found this Pub purely by chance and what a pleasant surprise. It is a typical American Bar with a particularity that it is a Police Bar full of Police Station Badges from different places and countries. During our trip we went 2 times and both had a wonderful time, a great atmosphere, good food and the best a variety of beers at a very good price. We'll be back!!

Convenient drinking spot on the way back from the days sightseeing friendly staff reasonable drinks prices for the city .Good local type mixed crowd . Would recommend a visit

Stopped off for a late lunch and drinks after visiting the memorial site and museum across the road. There was a wait for a table but we were happy to have a drink at the bar whilst we waited. We only waited fifteen minutes or so then we were seated. Food was good and what you would expect from a pub/bar type of place. Great service and staff were very attentive considering it was so busy. TVs were showing sports games, including Premiership football, which made my husband very happy. Great place, thoroughly recommended.

Great pub food & beer. We had a burger and a philly roll, both were served with fries. The atmosphere is really good and all the staff were really pleasant. Great selection of beers, something for everyone.

My wife and I have heard so much about o'haras bar at ground Zero WTC so had to give it a try. As we entered, we were greeted by a great member of staff who sported a stylish beard and series of tattoos who promptly showed us to a table where we dined and drank to an absolute fantastic atmosphere of what an Irish bar should be. Fully supported by the staff who managed service fantastically as the place was bouncing. Reasonably priced and great food. Would absolutely visit again.

Went with my wife it is what it is good food and drinks at reasonable price, very busy but got a table ok. Service great we would return

We found O'Hara's a couple NYC trips back about 7 years ago, and now it is a mainstay on our itinerary. On this trip, we enjoyed our Sunday dinner there after a wonderful sunny day of art museums and the New York City Marathon. The burger and fries are terrific! Washed down with a tasty beer! To the tune of the barkeep checking on us, providing the status of our order, etc. The ambience is amazing...all the people, all the police/fire/EMS badges on the walls, the tin ceiling. Just love it!!

My girlfriend and I came here and wanted to like it, but the service was the worst Iāve ever had. First, the A/C didnāt work and there were bugs everywhere. Second, the bartender paid no attention to me and took forever to even get me a menu, spending all his time trying to sell a customer on some gin. But this is where it got really bad. My girlfriend asked if they could make a certain mixed drink and he looked at her like she wasnāt supposed to be there and then looked at her ID for a solid minute or two because I guess he thought it was fake (a customer blurted out that it was too. It was not). At this point I could tell he was drunk. He never asked for my order so I went ahead and told him what I wanted. He never told my girlfriend if they could make the drink and then started telling the people at the bar a story. We had a dinner reservation somewhere else and tried to get his attention multiple times. Finally, when we asked him about the drink again he was completely confused. He acted like we never even asked and then the two customers next to us (both also drunk) said we never asked for it. The bartender told me, āBoth the people around you are saying you didnāt order it. Iām a bartender. Iād have known if you ordered itā. I slid my beer back and said I wasnāt going to be drinking it and he said, āFine, I donāt need your moneyā and proceeded to watch me the whole time I was getting my things to leave. I told him he didnāt have to stare at me because I wasnāt being kicked out, I was leaving. Iām a fair and honest guy so I wonāt lie on a review. This was legitimately the WORST experience Iāve had at a business. The bartender was an Irish guy with a mole just above his lip. I donāt know his name but he was absolutely disrespectful and treated us like he couldnāt stand us from the moment we tried to interact with him. I recommend that you go literally ANYWHERE but here. Even if you have better service than I did, the place was extremely hot and had bugs everywhere and the bar was sticky, so I canāt imagine they clean this place well. SAVE YOUR MONEY. According to that terrible bartender, theyāre doing so well that they donāt need it anyway. 0/10

Saw this pub as we left 911 memorial, what a find! Fab food - we had cajun chicken, mini burgers and some sides. All staff really pleasant and delivered great customer service. Loved the memorabilia and overall atmosphere and to finish it all off they served a perfect pint of Stella Artois! Just wish we had been staying closer as could have ate there every day.

O'Hara's Restaurant & Pub is a cozy gem. With authentic Irish cuisine, lively ambiance, and top-notch service, it's a must-visit. Perfect for a hearty meal or a pint of Guinness with friends.

We only had drinks. They food looked good, not the most amazing quality, however, that's not what O'haras is about. There is so much to look at, with all the amazing memorabilia and to see all the photos of the fireman and policeman who lost there lives in 911 was very moving. Its a well know place, the staff are great, the customers are loyal, and it's extremely popular with the tourists.

Fantastic place for a drink and to eat. Unique decor and has a real vibe. It was rammed. Wil be back next year.

Most expensive drink in my time in NYC. $45 for 2 pints Guinness and a smaller Guinness (3 Drinks in total)

Be prepared to wait if it's at mealtime, but it's well worth it. The owner stopped by our table several times to make sure everything was okay. When he found out my son is a firefighter he really stood and chatted. He asked that my son send him a fire company patch to add to the thousands he has adorning all the walls!

Great pub, very friendly service. We just wanted a drink, had some snacks, they were great. Located near the World Trade Center. We would go back anytime.

Located near ground zero, O'Hara's has a rich history and culture that is a joy to experience. Above average "bar food" with great staff and a local feel. Prices are good and the beer is cold. The bartender was the kind of guy you'd stay and have a beer with after.

Just arrived in from JFK and needed some food and relaxation. OāHaraās is every bit as good as itās fantastic reviews. Great buzz. Great service and what an atmosphere. Fantastic place ..šš

Delicious Irish stew and fries. Great service from bartender and environment. Would definitely come back with some friends.

First time in NY and this place is GREAT! Prices were reasonable and the staff was fantastic! Close to the 9/11 Memorial.

This place was amazing!!! My daughter found the place during our recent stay in NYC and we had a ball. We spent the first hour talking to the super friendly owner and looking at the 9/11 photo album he kept. The staff was all friendly and fun. It was a wonderful time and we cannot wait to go back! Oh food and beer was yummy!!!

Amazing place to visit around the corner from the 9/11 museum. The place has tonnes of history and a beautiful memory book behind the bar. It's a known Police and Fire hangout with badges and patches from all across the world proudly displayed on the walls. The food is cheap and easy, the company is warm and well worth a visit

We stayed local to O'Hara's and used the pub several times over our five days. The staff are amazing. - Friendly, fun and helpful. The bar has a great atmosphere and can get lively which was perfect for us. Food was good on each occasion. Perfect place for a few drinks and an excellent atmosphere. We will return next time in New York. Thank you all so much.

Typical bar feeling / English pub. Hard rock is played while basketball is shown on all screens. Perfect pit stop if you are in NY. The food was ok. The burger good stiff with purchase bread. Caesar salad. A little boring. But quite ok. Would go here for the feel, good beer and atmosphere more than a culinary experience!

Miss Gucci and I went to o'hara's after an emotional thought provoking 9/11 tour. The vibe was great, full of people and fireman's badges covering the walls and ceiling. There was a couple of empty tables scattered around and we were thankful for a place to sit and relax after a long day on our feet. We ordered a drink at the bar and went to sit at one of the empty tables as the bar and seats around the bar were full. The waitress overseeing the tables looked really pissed off and said we could finish our drinks standing away from the table and then order drinks from her to sit down. I understand each waiter, waitress, barman has their area but there were lots of empty tables and there is a time and a place. The selflessness of the fireman and her behaviour in direct contrast. When we had finished our drink ( we are in English and we were going to have a few) the waitress switched into a different person, so attentive and asking us if we wanted drinks and water. The fakeness and rudeness really ruined the experience. Miss Gucci' s dad is a fireman and we were really looking forward to going - such a shame about the service. Sometimes the context, genuine kindness and care for others should be greater than a $2 tip.

Irish pub my eye ! No craic at all, bar man had a face on him like thunder the sec we came in. Not 1 bit friendly. Bar woman wa very rude, very condesending, no craic, no politeness, horrible experience. Never ever again ! Tip for ye ! If ye protray yourselves as an Irish bar, at least treat Irish people with a bit of respsct !

For those who like to escape tourist spots/routes and live a little bit of the local experience, here is the place. Typical American, with great cost especially for Brazilians. Cardapio with snacks, sandwiches and hamburger and lots of chops and beers options! Great music environment: Ćric Clapton. U2... among others. We love the experience! If we get a chance we will definitely come back.

My brother and I came here on Monday night for a casual dinner. Our server was so nice and attentive despite how busy the place is. Good burgers, cold beer, what's not to love. Really touching tributes to firefighters, police units, all who serve with tons of patches on the walls.

Dropped in to get out of the cold during extreme weather conditions and in search of a hot, home-made dinner after a week of fast food, burgers and pizza. Shepherd's pie all round and it certainly did not disappoint! A warm welcome, a cosy atmosphere, great service. The whole place decorated from top to bottom with memorabilia and badges from police and emergency services from around the world. Credit card payment supposed to be charged extra but I didn't see anything extra on the bill. Maybe the only fault was no customer WiFi but maybe not a bad thing as it means we spoke together instead of stared into our phones. Would defo recommend and would defo come back!

We were initially seduced by the place that hosts a lot of police and fireman. The restaurant is close to the World Trade Center Memorial. The decoration is nice. We ate well and the Service was fast. There's a choice on the map. We recommend it.

Pub very close to ground zero, frequented by cops and firefighters as well as New Yorkers. Magical atmosphere, great beers and good food, the proper cost compared to the New York average, two big beers and two Ohara burger classes $58 over tip. Very kind staff, indeed super!!!

The wife and I found our way into O"Hara's, this past Friday the 13th, while waiting for our tour of One World Observatory and we are so glad that we did. We were some of the first end, as it was only 11 to 1130ish but the manager, "Mike" was an excellent host as well as the rest of the staff. We enjoyed a few pints during which time they broke out their very emotive "scrapbook"! Though the 9/11 Museum had been closed due to the virus we were, in a small way, able to experience that day in small part to the book. I highly recommend that you stop by when in NYC and definitely review the scrapbook! We even went back later that afternoon to enjoy the conversations and atmosphere. Thanks to Mike and Staff. Mark and Denise

A really cool Irish pub to visit in Lower Manhattan. Food and service were great! Friendly folks and certainly a fun place to hang.

Having read about this place I really wanted to like it. Sadly, while the bar and the memorabilia are fascinating, one member of staff was extremely unfriendly. We went in the first day, there was a nice atmosphere and the barman was friendly. We just had one drink as we were on our way to our hotel a short walk away. We decided to go back in the following day and sat in another area with a different barman. We'd heard him being extremely rude with another customer, she was just asking a question about the menu. Again with another lady asking if she could take photos. Then he was the same with a few others. We asked about moving seats and again, a very cold and blunt response, there really was no need. As we sat, it seemed that the people who appeared to be regulars were treated with open arms, the rest of us, not so. The waiter who kept bringing our drinks however, was excellent, everything brought with a smile and a friendly attitude. The food was ok, nothing special, stopped us being hungry for a while. Its an interesting place, I knew about it's history and would have loved a wander round. Instead, I stayed seated, feeling like I would be frowned upon and in the way. Really disappointed, sad to say. And a shame for the other staff members we encountered as they seemed lovely

We really enjoyed our 1st trip to NYC everyone we met was really friendly and polite throughout the whole trip⦠except the bar tender who served us our drinks on Monday 24th, he was rude abrupt and unhelpful. When we asked for a phone charger to borrow, was told NO, very curtly. I know heās not there for that but he could have maybe advised where to get one/ borrow oneā¦. It was a minor blip on an otherwise fantastic trip. Maybe he was having a bad day š¤·š»āāļø, The pub at the time was fairly busy, mostly with locals I would say. As I say very out of character with everyone else we met in NY Much love from š“ó §ó ¢ó „ó ®ó §ó æ

We spent the day at the 911 museum and Memorial. The restaurant was it within walking distance, the food was really good. The service was wonderful. I Highly recommend it. The prices were very reasonable especially for New York City.

Busy bar. Service was prompt . Ambience very good. Lots of people coming and going out. Has two tables by the road also . Relished chilled beer and o hareās classic burger . Near perfect .

Excellent environment, very close to the world trade center. Meat cooked to perfection, perhaps I would have added a little salt. Staff in the room very helpful.

Bar man was rude. Completely dismissed us on several occasions. Miserable man. No sparking or rose wine so opted for a Coke which was flavourless (on draft). Badges were cool though.

We called in after visiting the 9-11 memorial and going up the OWO. We called in early evening and it was really busy. Great atmosphere, great service and lots of badges to look for. We had food here too and hubby thought it was the best NY strip he had while in the city so the place definitely had 5 stars from him! Lovely to see another table adding more badges to the ceiling while we were there too. Thanks OāHaraās, highly recommended for anyone in the area, who needs refreshment or food.

Great food, reasonable prices, fast service. It had a great atmosphere, it is decorated with police and fire patches from all around the world. Would definitely recommend.

Good Guinness, good service, Not good Philly cheese steak. Meat was thick, tough and strange tasting. Hot peppers and lots of black pepper were all through it, hardly any cheese and standard fries. Iād like to see a small salad or sautĆ©ed/roasted vegetables offered instead of fries.

After being ripped off in Tourist midtown Manhattan. It was nice to come to a bar restaraunt that accommodates both locals and tourists and makes you feel at home. Great choice of drinks, the food is good and the atmosphere is great. Ask the staff member to let you look through the 911 memoir photo book. If In New York for work or pleasure, please donāt miss out on the gem of a bar and restaurant.

Stopped in for a quick bite and really enjoyed the atmosphere. Food was nothing fancy but the ambience of the place is what makes it unique.

Went to Oā Haras for food & drinks, the atmosphere was great! Food was really tasty! The next morning I realised I had left my bag in the bar, I rang the bar the following morning and luckily enough it was still there. Thank you so much for keeping my bag safe - I was so relieved!

I absolutely loved this bar - itās so quirky! I popped in for a bar meal and a beer and stayed all night! The bar staff were super engaging and fun! If youāre downtown, you must stop in!

My wife and I had come over for St. Patrick's Day and stayed for another 5 days. We found O'Hara's the day we visited the One World and 911 Museum. This is a crackin' pub, great atmosphere, great service and the Guinness wasn't bad either. The pub serves as a meeting place for Fire Fighters, Police Officers and Soldiers from all sides of the globe, the walls are festooned with their patches. The food is pretty good too - we both had the 10 House burgers, named after the Fire House on the corner. Pretty good. The staff are attentive, polite and offer great service. If I'm ever back in NYC I'll be sure to return and would recommend this pub/restaurant to anyone visiting. Go on catch the E train downtown and do yourself a favour!

After visiting World Trade Centre we where advised to visit OāHaras would like to thank Paul and his staff for their hospitality. The food was really good my husband said itās the best burger he has ever had. Great place wonderful photos and archives from 9/11. Thank you Paul and crew Jean and Jim from West Australia we will be back .

My SO and I had just visited the 9/11 memorial/museum and felt like having lunch at a local pub. We googled/found this cool place with delicious food, wonderful staff and great surroundings. On September 11, 2001, this lovely pub was affected and damaged. (some historical pictures on their walls). After their repairs were completed and reopened, police, emergency workers and firemen from all over the world started leaving their patches on the walls. After 23 years, their walls are covered with these remembrances of those who have honored those who were affected on 9/11. Besides being a gem, this local pub is an inspiration of hope and kindness. We highly recommend this lovely spot!

Two of my co-workers were there on business on May 28th, 2025, and I need detailed receipts of their dinner. I have tried calling the phn # on the receipt on the website and all I get is a busy, busy, busy tone. Can I get a good # that someone will actually answer and hopefully help me. Maybe a soon to be customer Cindy

Myself, my wife, my brother and sister in law went to this cracking pub during our stay in December 21. We did 9/11 beforehand and to be honest this was the perfect pub to relax in after feeling so sad during our tour. This bar has an amazing atmosphere, the drinks were great and a credit to the bar staff who were super friendly. Will definitely return this September when we revisit New York š

Cool beast across Street from the 9/11 Memorial. I needed a drink after that tour as well as the cool air conditioning. The buyer had a good selection. The bartender was great. Entire ceiling and walls are covered with first responder patches which made it even better.

This place wasāthe findā of the holiday Such a great atmosphere Food, drink and staff were excellent The history of the pub is described perfectly in the article below A testimony to the resilience of New York, may OāHaraās long continue to be a lower Manhattan institution. We approached with weary feet, empty stomachs, an overpowering sense of silence, and a need to sit with our own It was only when we looked around and saw the thousands of patches from the uniforms of firefighters and rescue workers adorning any free space throughout the bar that we realized our grave error. This was no tourist trap: OāHaraās stood here before the tourists ever arrived. Google for more details but please go in for a drink/meal It really is a special place

We stumbled on this place as my boyfriend was so distressed after the 9/11 museum that he āneeded a beerā! It was heaving but we managed to get a seat. We met another couple who were from US and ended up having many many drinks!!!!! Anyway we stayed so long that we didnāt make our romantic valentines dinner and went to the curry house next door :-) There are rescue worker badges all over this bar which are fascinating to look at. The staff here work really hard and are super friendly. I would definitely drink here again

Recently, my family ate dinner at O'Hara's Restaurant and Pub located in New York Cityās lower Manhattan area. It is an Irish Pub and the menu offers typical pub fare, such as wings, burgers, and other sandwiches. My husband and two of my children ordered burgers, which all reported to be tasty, and my youngest daughter ordered the chicken tenders appetizer. Sheās the pickiest eater in the family and happily emptied her basket once it had cooled off. I, myself, follow a gluten-free diet so was pleasantly surprised to see the various salad options offered. I ordered the burger salad and found it to be quite good and satisfying. Overall, the meal was quite affordable, with dishes starting around $10. What made this restaurant memorable, however, wasnāt the food. What made the experience so remarkable was its location and decor. The restaurant is located just a few blocks from One World Trade Center. It was damaged but survived the destruction of the September 11th attacks and is a memorial for the firefighters, police officers, paramedics, and other rescue workers who died that fateful date and as a tribute to all first responders worldwide. Every surface of the restaurant is covered with patches of local departments from across the country and world that were donated by patrons who ate there while visiting the 9/11 Memorial. The thousands of patches lining the walls and bar were quite moving and my children had fun looking at the various cities, states, and countries represented. In addition to the restaurantās atmosphere, the service was excellent. Our food came quickly and our server was very personable and accommodating. Her extra attention was appreciated after a long day of sightseeing and noteworthy considering the millions of tourists that must pass through there every year. If you are ever visiting lower Manhattan or paying your respects at the 9/11 Memorial, I highly recommend eating at O'Hara's Restaurant and Pub for a memorable, affordable, and family-friendly experience. The restaurant serves as a symbol of NYCās resiliency and is a powerful 9/11 monument in its own right.

Visiting OāHaras was for me, a must visit after visiting the 911 Memorials. The staff were friendly and the food tasty and unpretentious. We raised a glass to those who have served and paid the ultimate price. Thank you all for your service, you will not be forgottenšŗ

Fun atmosphere and friendly staff! Inside of pub is welcoming and decorated with badges from police/fire/paramedics service members all over the walls and ceiling. We even found one from our home town. Ask to see āthe bookā a moving and emotional photo album of the events of 9/11.

We just left the National 9/11 Museum and needed to eat somewhere close. This place came up on our list. AMAZING food and the service was just outstanding!! We sat at the bar and our bartenders were so informative! They even shared their 9/11 scrapbook!! Great service and food!! Must go!!

Very busy and pleasant place both to have a beer and to eat. We were well served, the food was very good and the beers were great. We will return and we recommend it.

Excellent atmospheric pub. With links to nearby Ground Zero and Firefighters memorial. Food Excellent, reasonable priced. Staff fantastic. Well worth a trip if in area to visit 9/11 Museum

Burger was served pretty fast, it was delicious and there were a lot of good beers to choose from. I was given a small glass to taste before I choose, and that was much appreciated. I would come back if there were not so many other places to see in few days!

Awesome environment! Loved to see some many first responder patches all over the wall. Especially the LEOs. Beer was really cold as well!

OāHaraās was conveniently located near Ground Zero in NYC. Its walls were so unique displaying first respondersā patches from around the world. The hamburgers were out of this world! The best Iāve ever eaten! We are still talking about our experience there! We felt very fortunate to have found this hidden gem!

After visiting the 911 Memorial/ Museum 2 couples arrived at OāHaraās to have lunch. We were greeted by a teasing gentleman and seated in a few minutes. The atmosphere, staff, drinks and lunch were fantastic! We all had a different burger and agreed they were probably the best burger weāve ever had!! Thank you OāHaraās for a great time and we wii recommend your establishment to our family and friends!

We wondered over to this place in the snow after leaving the 911 memorial. We needed to gather ourselves and get some grub. The food was fantastic and the service was exceptional. Itās a really cool vibe with all the police patches and fire department patches on the walls. Thereās also an amazing picture of the bar right after 9/11 that I stared at for ever.

Super nice guys in a very original pub. The food is good, the beer is also good... This pub served as a point of contact for the WTC bankers... and in the end also for the emergency services of 9/11. These impressions are summarized in an impressive book, which lies behind the counter. If you ask, you can take a look inside... very poignant... In memory of the deceased emergency workers, someone started to have his badge tacked on the wall... there is no room now...

Stopped for lunch here after finishing a walking tour of the area, in which this place was mentioned. It did not disappoint, it was busy but the staff seated us at a table and were very polite and attentive. Food and drink was great, burgers and nachos were great. A member of my party dropped their mobile phone while in here and didnt realise until way later. On ringing them (thinking it was a long shot) they had found the phone and kept it safe until it could be collected. I could not fault this place at all.

O' Hara's a Fantastic place to eat. Great atmosphere excellent staff. Great meal Will definitely be back in the next few days!

Stayed just down the road for 5 nights at the Millennium hotel and on our 1st evening we took a wander and stumbled on this little beauty!! The staff and the friendly atmosphere took the edge off of an 8hr flight and 33 degrees (-7) temp!! Had beer and food at OāHaraās 3 days out of the 5 we were in town - and will definitely be back!! Try the Nachos they are amazing!!

This bar is right near ground zero. The whole bar is filled with patches from First responders all over the country. The atmosphere was awesome. The music was good. The staff were super friendly. My Grilled chicken caesar wrap was tasty! We were a walk-in group of 9 girls. Despite not having reservations or giving a heads up, we were able to be seated and served. The staff was friendly and attentive. They made time to chat and say hello. Out of our weekend getaway across 3 different cities/towns - the spot was the most relaxing and fun dining experience to end our trip.

A very busy bar, thank you for allowing us to see the scrap book and for taking the time to introduce us to local beers. Loving the blue point toasted lager.

This is a fantastic spot for lunch when in South Manhattan. We toured the Statue of Liberty, Ellis Island, walked a few blocks to the 911 museum and had lunch here ata O'Hara's. The service was friendly. Prices reasonable. Food and drinks were good. You can't go wrong with this place for a quick lunch.

Located close to the Oculus, nice atmosphere, good selection of beers, and great food. the place is very very crowded a typical American experience

First time in new york and this was the first Irish style bar we arrived at. The staff were very friendly and made my little one comfortable. The food was awesome and the prices standard for NYC. Hubby was happy with the Guiness and getting tonwatch the final of the world Cup in a great place. Thanks from North of Ireland

A fantastic and unique bar steeped in tales. Ate and drank here with a colleague for a few nights straight. The burgers are hearty, the Guinness is cold and the story is brilliant. Don't just visit, if you can, ask them the history - it was pivotal in the wake of 9/11. If you're in New York, definitely a place to try.

A proper pub with excellent customer service and value for money ⦠we visited everyday for a tipple and found it welcoming. Food pub grub not restaurant but itās priced that way!

After the 9/11 Memorial and Museum my Mom and I looked up where we should go eat and we landed on OāHaras due to the reviews and the history that was mentioned. When we walked in we were very impressed. The atmosphere with all the badges everywhere was something else. We also read about the bar and the impacts they made when 9/11 happened. The bartenders and waiters were good and the drinks were as well. I had the burger which was a good size and my Mom had the Rueben.

This is my first review but O'Hara's has been a bar that we've returned to several times on our trips to NYC. We first went right after COVID hit. All of NYC but especially lower Manhattan was really struggling. We were glad to find a locally owned pub we could hang at, late night (not a chain). And it is a BAR BAR not a touristy place at all. Run and I think owned by former NY City Firefighters (heroes). Once again, this time, it was the perfect after-hours meet up for us and our adult sons. To have drinks and a nosh. SHOUT OUT to our server Sam (Samantha?) who suggested the perfect cocktails and drinks. SlƔinte !

O'Hara's Pub & Restaurant is a must visit. Just love this pub completely covered in First Responder badges following 9/11. Became aware of the story surrounding O'Hara's some years back so I was thrilled to pay a visit last March when visiting New York for St.Patrick's Day. Felt a little surreal sitting at the bar looking through 'the book' The food was delicious & the staff were friendly & helpful. Looking forward to a return visit...š„°š„°šāļøš®šŖš®šŖ

Visited bar 2000hours Wednesday 19th October 2022. Waiter 5ft 7 (approx), glasses, straight black hair combed all back. Real attitude problem. Rather than being asked to politely move somewhere else in bar while stood around an empty reserved table by main front entrance, this jobs worth rudely shoved a bit of paper with a name on it and told your need to move. What happened to the usual polite manner weāve experienced previously from others in this bar. Thereās ways of explaining things or needing public to politely stand elsewhere. Is this how you greet visitors to your country and spending money in your business. Wonāt be going back. This waiter (insult to the industry), needs a class in customer service. I could be rude, but whatās the point. Be lowering myself to his level.

We stumbled upon this place while recently visiting NYC not knowing it's history or story. Was the best decision we ever made. It is an absolute must see!!!! Gio, Chris and Mike were AMAZING!!! Felt like family being there. The food was Awesome!!! The Drinks were Spectacular! And the Laughs.... ahhh... the laughs!!! Memories for a lifetime!!! Thank you for making our NYC trip so memorable! And Thank you for sharing your stories with us.

True bar, authentically American, you breathe a sincere and genuine atmosphere. Satisfactory food, good offer of beers and cocktails, possibility to find free alcohol drinks. Friendly and prompt Service. The place is worth a visit for those who want to immerse themselves in a real American bar, few frills and lots of substance.

This was a great local bar decorated with first responded patches from across the US. Food was typical bar food. French onion not great, but the burger and other stuff was good.

Oāharas was ground zero for all of the rescue workers to sleep and eat during the 911 tragedy. See all the rescue patches and patches from all of North America was so heart warming to see. The food, drink service especially bar tenders were great. Get there early because it gets crowded and rightfully so.

AMAZING! Great atmosphere, fantastic food! Went twice during my stay at NYC and definitely visiting again on my next trip to the city!

We were in NYC staying nearby and came here twice. The first time was about 3 and all we needed was a snack, so we sat at the bar - wasnāt crowded at that time of day. We got a good cheese flatbread and a few beers. Nice choice of beers including a few non alcoholic. We loved the atmosphere with all the police, EMT etc badges on every inch of the walls. There are also pictures on the wall showing the devastation after 9-11. The next day we went about 6:30 (Wednesday) and you could hardly get in the door. It was wall to wall people. We almost turned around and left, but decided just to walk through and see if we could grab a table. A nice employee told us āsure, take this tableā. It had a reserved sign, so I donāt know what that was about, but we gladly took it. My husband got a grilled cheese with bacon, lettuce and tomato and I got the grilled chicken wrap. Both were terrific and came with hot, fresh fries. Service was unbelievably fast and courteous - I really donāt know they do it with so many people. Kudos to them - I complimented them on the service on the way out, and they were appreciative but said, āItās what we doā. Donāt miss this if you are in the area - right across from Ground Zero.

Very friendly venue - who were more than happy to find a place for us to sit. Good food and drink at very reasonable prices.

Excellent and atypical I highly recommend you will have a good time and a good reading. It is very friendly and affordable price

Great bar great food. Great atmosphere. Very busy bar but a great place to unwind with a few beers and nice food. Would definitely recommend.

Very good food and great service! Went there with three colleagues. Everyone was very pleased with the quality of the food and the hospitality of the waitstaff.

Coors and buffalo wings both banging. LOVED this place. Didnāt want to leave. Needed a pick me up after visiting the amazing an emotional 911 memorial. This was the perfect choice.

Stopped here yesterday which is just a couple days after they were able to reopen from COVID closure and spirits were high with that fight attitude. As we sat my wife and two kids and I this guy who was a partner or something came to our table, made us feel like family and share their 9/11 book with as they were at the heart of it all. Thank you so much. We will always come back. If you are in the area there is no better place to support. He really made the visit. Thanks again

Strange as it may sound, the wife and I celebrated our 42 Anniversary at O'Hara's Pub. This place is more than just a fantastic Irish pub. It's sort of a historical bar, surviving the horrors of 9/11, just across the street. Thousand of first responder badges cover the walls. The entire atmosphere suggested a special place. A place that stood up to the tragedy and literally rose from the ashes. itself. There was a sense that we belonged here. The food was great, the service fantastic. Mike Keane, the owner, spent some time with us, sometimes laughing at me for having an anniversary dinner in an Irish pub. It was a special experience on a special day.

What an absolutely amazing place! Our beef nachos were fresh, hot and delicious and the service was top notch! My wife ordered a glass of wine and the bartender polished her glass before pouring it!! You donāt see that at a lot anymore!! Best part was they serve Yeungling on tap!! Fresh and cold!! 5 stars!!

We went to OāHaras twice as it was that good. Try the turkey BLT! If you plan on visiting the 911 Memorial this is a must stop. Great food and exceptional service!

We are spent there really good time. They have plenty beers and whiskies to choose and there is really good atmosphere as well.

A must visit for us every time we come to NYC. Good food/drinks at very reasonable prices. Very strong bond to 9-11, and the owner makes you feel like family.

We just happened to stumble upon OāHaraās Restaurant & Pub one evening, and honestly, it turned out to be one of those rare, perfect finds. From the moment we walked in, the place had this warm, genuine vibe that felt both local and welcoming like youād been going there for years even if it was your first visit. The walls immediately catch your eye covered in badges and patches from fire departments and first responders from all over the world. Itās such a unique, meaningful touch that gives the place a real sense of history and heart. You can tell there are stories behind every single one. And the beer. Hands down the best draft beer Iāve had in New York crisp, cold, and poured just right. You can tell they actually care about what theyāre serving. Pair that with a good meal and the kind of friendly atmosphere thatās hard to fake, and youāve got yourself a spot youāll definitely want to come back to. OāHaraās isnāt just another pub itās a little piece of New York you donāt forget. Would like to thank you guys for having us it really was pleasure. Really wish i took photos and not video so i could add them to this post.

OāHaraās is a restaurant and pub close to Wall St. in the financial district of New York City. It opened in 1983 and was badly damaged during the terrorist attacks of September 11th 2001. We stumbled upon OāHaraās when we visited the nearby 9/11 Memorial on Saturday July 27th 2024. As we crossed Liberty St. to view the memorial on the side of the FDNY Ten House for the 343 NYFD members who lost their lives on September 11th 2001 we spotted the OāHaraās sign but the place looked closed. Nobody was sat outside and we saw no signs saying āopenā. Then we peeked in a window and got a shock: the place was heaving inside! We ventured through a sticker-covered door at the side of the property and stepped into a bustling restaurant. OāHaraās was clearly a popular place, despite what the misleading exterior portrayed. The few tables we saw had reserved signs on them, but we told the friendly member of staff who greeted us thatās weād like to sit at one of the two bars and he pointed us through. After a bit of toing and froing (thanks to an undecided couple who tried usurping us to the seats), we managed to find two stools together and ordered some much-needed draft Blue Moons. OāHaraās was a fascinating place to visit: literally every spare inch of wall space was covered in fire department and police department patches! We spotted many familiar American city and county names, as well as several foreign and British ones. We later discovered that the tradition of putting patches on the wall started a year after 9/11 when a construction worker stapled an NYFD patch to the wall. From our prime spot at the bar, we studied the badges and watched the Olympic Games on the TV, while taking in the comings and goings. Service was very quick and friendly, and we eventually ordered some food. Our check was as follows: š Staten Island burger with fries = $17.00 š„Ŗ Reuben sandwich with fries = $17.00 šŗ Blue Moon (x3) = $27.00 š¢ Tax = $5.00 š Service charge = $12.00 š° Total = $78.00 We had to wait a while to have the food brought to us but it was worth it. The burger was flavorsome, with a thick pattie covered in Swiss cheese and sautĆ©ed onions. The Reuben sandwich was packed full of corned beef, Swiss cheese and sauerkraut and was equally as tasty as the burger. In the U.S., corned beef is a salt cured brisket, sliced. It was as chewy as hell and each bite of the sandwich was a challenge to eat, but the flavor was so good it was worth enduring. There was literally two inches of meat in the Reuben! We greedily would have liked a few more of the home-made fries, but the portion size of the meals was more than adequate. OāHaraās had a great atmosphere and there was a good mix of customers, ranging from families, small groups and singles. We had been travelling 20 hours with very little sleep, so the beers went straight to our heads. We could have stayed much longer but we were literally exhausted and almost falling sleep. We reluctantly left for the long hot journey uptown back to our hotel. We know we will revisit OāHaras when weāre next in New York City, not just for the food and beer, but for its friendliness in what is normally a brusque city.

Cozy bar. In our opinion the food was very good. Service was friendly and above all very fast! Would go there again

Just a block from were tower 2 stood. I saw an interview that Mike, the owner, did on FOX on 9/11 and decided it was a must see. The food was excellent and service outstanding. Mike wondered by several times greeting guest. Ask if you can look at his book of 9/11. The walls are covered with badges from police and fire departments all over the world.

Though restaurant was busy, we had prompt, friendly service, delicious pub food, good value for the prices and great local bar atmosphere downtown near 9/11 museum. Displays of first responder badges and photo made it a special place to visit.

Stopped in for a drink at this Irish pub on an early Saturday evening. My husband and I shared a Sheppard Pie entree and we had beers. I ordered an Irish coffee before leaving. Crowded atmosphere, good service. Food was ok. We have had better Sheppard pie but we may be back.

Visited 9/11 Musuem and looking for a good lunch spot. Read reviews on line. Food was just OK, waitress just OK.

Downtown. Lots of history being opened and serving first responder's during 9/11. Nice people, good portions of honest pub food and a good pour. I go here on business, I feel like I'm in my cousins bar. It's homey here. All good, not a chain - that for me is huge!

Nice NYC bar vibe. Close to Ground zero, Food is good but service is horrible. We went there on a Wednesday evening. They werenāt super busy but we literally had to flag someone down to get any service at all. Once food was ordered it came out quickly. You can tell the vibe us that of regulars so if youāre not a regular you were pretty much ignored. The guys working there were too busy flirting with girls and having bromances. Decided not to go back although we were staying close by.

You know when you have that gut feeling āthis can go sound quicklyā. Well listen to your gut. The four of us arrived at OāHara after driving 6 long hours to get to NYC. So you know itās time for a drink. Get to the pub about 8pm. Lively but not crowded. Hostess greets us and ask us āhow manyā. As she seats us we ask ādo we show you or our waitress our Vaccination cardsā. She laughs and says āif you want to show us fine⦠but we donāt require them.ā First clue, should of left. But we stayed. We had dinner with three rounds of drinks. I had a Jim Bean Manhattan straight up. I got basically red vermouth with a shot of Jim bean, I think. I got the burger with Swiss. It was mealy and odd flavored. Only ate a third and finished the fries. Long story short, I spent the next 12 hours at the hotel while the remainder of the group went out. Their food was bad too but they didnāt get sick. Many other Irish pubs in NYC. Stay clear of this one

Frankly top, 100 meters from the world trade center. Great and original decoration. American cuisine, but very hearty. Choice of draft beer. Average price, but cheaper than most New York restaurants. 132⬠to 4. With 4 aperitifs. 4 courses. 1 frit 1 onion ring. Worth a visit for the Food and Mood.

Fantastic atmosphere, great music and the food was outstanding. Moving to see all the firefighters badges and the events of 9/11. Food was gorgeous! We didnāt want to leave!

Nice pub. Good American food. A wide selection of beers. Very welcome. Good Award for money. close to WTC.

We have been heading to oāHaraās for over 18 years, getting on know the owner really well. He runs a brilliant bar, fabulous atmosphere, good food and service, it really is a New York institution. Be aware that you may not get seated at busy times as it is always hectic

The place is beautiful. Every inch of the walls is of the ceilings is filled with banners and logos of the various police, fire, paramedics. It's across from Ground Zero. Typical English pub climate. Good food. Average prices for NY. It's worth a stop.

We were in New York for 5 days. We came across O'Hara's while looking for a good, no-frills restaurant with reasonable prices. We went there several times for dinner. Super friendly staff. Good beer and simple food at normal prices. We would go back anytime. The many badges from fire departments from all over the world on the wall are particularly special. Located right next to Ground Zero!

This place has a vibe only certain people will understand. Those people included are fun, kind, patient and not looking for something fancy. It has a warmth about it...and for those who complain ...look around and open your eyes. Your troubles of not getting that drink right away is nothing compared to what you see around you...look around.....and instead of complaining take a seat and have a laugh with the person next to you and just maybe you will look around instead and figure it all out.

My Husband and I were traveling first time in NYC and stumbled upon OāHaraās. It was one of thr best thing this trip!! Sam, our waitress, and Tony another waiter were amazing! They were very attentive and talked about the history of this bar/restaurant, which was just awe inspiring. I cannot say enough about their great personalities and how friendly they were ! I had the best burger I shared it with my husband. I wish I had the whole thing myself and the Cajun fries were awesome! we will definitely come back here again when in NYC!

This place, immediately behind the September 11th museum, seems like it came out of one of those films where they show you the typical American pub, frequented by locals and where you can eat a hamburger and drink a beer. The atmosphere you breathe is exactly that of an old American place. The burgers are good and have that authentic, homemade taste. A really good lunch. To try.

I loved this bar. The staff are so friendly and accommodating, yummy drinks and bar food and a fun atmosphere. The decor is really special and if you ask nicely they will let you look at their book in memorial of 9/11. Highly recommend this place.

Really friendly staff. Great food and local beer served quick and cold. We were recommended this place by a friend and was not disappointed. I had the grilled chicken Caesar salad and my husband had the burgers and fries. We were particularly instead in the badges and were lucky enough to find Northumberland fire service as my husband works for them Lovely place

I had already been last year and came back again with great pleasure!!! The staff is as exceptional as its meals and its beers! I recommend everyone to try something characteristically Irish from yesterday to New York today. Really fantastic!!!

Great place! Stopped for a drink the bar was packed so had to stand (not an issue for us) whilst in there we saw how good the food looked and grabbed a table! Philly cheese steak, sliders x 2 and pastrami sandwiches for the brits - amazing would recommend and seriously reasonably priced! Great tribute to the armed forces only wish weād brought a badge from home to put up! Thanks for a great visit!

Nice place. Liked the food and the ambiance. Service was friendly. Made no reservation, but were seated whithout a problem. Drinks and food were served timely. For us, the tempurature was too low and the speed of the fan too high. But I guess it comes down what you are accustomed to.

Great place near 9/11 Museum and One World Trade Center. Fun atmosphere and good, pub style food. It was a rainy day around lunch time, so we had to wait a bit to be seated, but it was worth the short wait. Very funny, friendly manager and fellow diners. Had fun finding police and fire patches from our home state on the walls.

Great food, great music, great atmosphere. Great location, good service. We loved it. Highly recommended. Real pub

Located just a block from the WTC complex, this is about as perfect a location as you can get to have a beer and something to eat after after work or sight-seeing. The staff is super friendly and attentive, the drink options are plentiful and cold. The place is clean and inviting and I loved the police, fire and ems patches as part of the decor. I'll be sure to stop back the next time I'm in lower Manhattan.

Best pork chop Iāve ever had. Great atmosphere. Staff put the soccer game on the tv for us. Excellent place to eat and watch sport. As well as the mind blowing tribute to 9/11

Had an amazing experience had a few Pts before ordering some food amazing place worth a visit if we return will definitely be back for a repeat .:)

We just went here for lunch while visiting ground zero. Amazing place. Met the owner who showed us his photo album with pics of 9/11. This place is almost a museum of sorts, very special experience.

Great pub food. A favorite of FIRST RESPONDERS from around the country and world. Thousands of agency patches adore the walls.

Awesome little pub in an historic part of New York. Really friendly welcome and service from all the staff who clearly take immense pride in the pub and rightly so. We had a few drinks and the atmosphere made you feel like you were in a locals bar in a small town not in the heart of downtown Manhattan. We were given the memorial book to look through which was moving and heart warming and showed the integral part this pub had in helping to rebuild. Will be on the list for a pit stop every time we are in New York and will make sure to try some pub grub next time as the food looked very good.

Our 911 tour guide recommended this place to go after our tour. We did see walls and walls of New Yorkās and all over the US firefighters patches. It is the closet station and the first to respond to after 911. Very moving place right next to the fire station. Our burgers and fries were top notch.

We spent 3 good times having a drink in this atypical establishment where honor is given to Police Officers and Firefighters from around the world. Firefighters from āLadder 10ā right next door who paid a heavy price during 9/11 I was able to chat with the very friendly boss to whom I proudly left my cap. Thanks for this place. Strength and honor. (Buy a t-shirt at the bar and at Ladder 10 in support)

Best pub, best grub, best service ever! Sent a photo for the pub to consider. Contact me IH.Photography@outlook.com. .

Such a lovely experience. I was made to feel welcome from the moment I entered. I arrived during a very busy time but the staff had no trouble finding me a place to sit and grab a quick bite to eat. The food was super yummy and I couldnāt believe the prices - so so affordable!!!! I forgot to bring a patch during this visit, so I will most certainly return with one next year!!! This will be a regular spot for me to visit during my yearly trips to the city from now on

The perfect ending to our day touring Ground Zero. The food was delicious, staff friendly and owner so invested in dinners having a great time. He even talked to us for 20 minutes. Definitely on of our favorite momentsā
Quiet place
Not a bad quiet, tucked away bar/ resteraunt. Kitchen closes at 11, we were starving, stout next door served food until 1 am. T It was very warm inside this bar, plenty of seating as no one was in there, they were all next door where they were still serving food. Bartender was pleasant drinks were fine.
