What a great pub. We went on a Friday night and it was pumping. I had the Steak my son had the Parmy. Awesome Feed. Great atmosphere.

Had to come try this place, owned by a couple of Aussie legands, Hamish and Andy's. Service was amazing, the 'old mates' beer was good and the food was awesome. We were craving a chicken parmy, and they had it here. Large serving, very good parmy. Do it, go here, won't be disappointed

As an Aussie I was worried about this the potential for this bar to be a gimmick. It was a genuine venue that was light on the “cheesiness” with just the right level of nostalgia and Australian stuff. For an expat it’s a great place to watch a game, drink a coopers and munch on some twisties. The only thing missing was the Bundy! Definitely worth a visit.

What can I say. The best food I've eaten in NYC. I had the Barramundi with a side of the honey Carrots and Mash Potato. Magnificent. The Barramundi had a crispy skin and the fish was cooked perfectly. My wife had the Lamb Chops and I had food envy. Highly recommend Old Mates Pub if you have time in NYC. Big thanks to Joe who looked after us and showed us around the pub on all 3 levels.
