My son and I went for an early dinner. Scotch Bonnet wings were fantastic as were the Caribbean cocktails. Small place but highly recommend.

We heard about this restaurant from a couple of friends and we were not disappointed!! Very imaginative twist on traditional Jamaican food. The codfish fritters made with plantains was novel and sumptuous! The escovitch fish was out of this world! The curried shrimp were also delicious. We will return!

This spot is a staple. If you're looking for a brunch spot with a great vibe, this place delivers! Not very large on the inside, but the ambiance is lively and the music is great, not too loud to converse though. The bottomless mimosas are definitely a steal for the price, but just a heads-up—they're pre-mixed, so you don’t get to control the ratio of champagne to OJ. That said, they were still refreshing and kept flowing the entire time and even let us go over the 90min limit a bit. Despite the brunch rush, our waiter was fantastic—attentive, friendly, and always making sure we had everything we needed. It's rare to get such great service when a place is this busy, but they handled it smoothly. Overall, if you're looking for a fun brunch spot with a great atmosphere, solid service, and a budget-friendly bottomless option, this place is a great pick. Just know what to expect with the drinks, and you’re in for a good time! 🍾🥂✨

I wanted to give this spot five stars. The vibe, the ambiance, the staff, the clientele, all FIVE STARS. The drinks, four stars. The food—at least the food I had—was not great, to put it nicely. This is a laid back venue that serves Caribbean/Jamaican inspired food, as well as rum/tropical drinks. It plays great music—r&b, hiphop, island music (sorry, I don’t know the right term). The patrons are lively. The service is attentive and down to earth. The decor is very cool. My food was what tripped me up. I got the coconut crusted salmon with a small salad and mushrooms. The salad and mushrooms were forgettable. The salmon was just plain bad. There was a congealed substance on it and it didn’t seem fresh. Now, I probably just messed up and got the wrong thing. Their oxtail, jerk chicken, and some of the other dishes I saw coming out of the kitchen looked much more palatable. I expected my drinks to have a little more flavor, but they were decent, and served with a smile. I would try this place again, simply because I think it’s my bad for choosing the salmon. And again, the people running this spot are AWESOME!

Went to celebrate my sister's birthday and Omar's Kitchen did not disappoint. What a cute, cozy, and colorful little gem in the LES! Positive vibes and a cool ambiance throughout. Music was poppin and so was the food and friendly service. Dishes ordered: - Plantain and Saltfish Fritters: delicious - Coconut Crusted Soursop Glazed Salmon was good and juicy (entrees come with a generous portion of rice and peas) - Jerk Glazed Salmon was mouth-watering Drinks: -The Shotta Love Story, Soursop mimosa, and Tamarind Punch tasted good Dessert: - Pistachio cheesecake was creamy and good with so much pistachio flavor - Sorrel cheesecake Last, but not least, Janice was an amazing server. For my sister's birthday, she came out with a sparkling candle on top of one of the cheesecakes. That was beautiful! Overall, we enjoyed dining at Omar's Kitchen!

Great and pleasant and remarkable wait staff. I cannot remember their names but they were awesome. I love the ambiance and music to go with the vibes. The food was delicious! The salmon and shrimp were delectable.

Well, visiting New York we decided we wanted some Caribbean food, so we checked out Omar‘s. Very nice restaurant inside and outdoor space with a very nice Vibe. They had a very nice menu selection of Caribbean dishes and drinks. We tried a few different dishes and drinks. Service was very good and fast. There was some nice music playing while we ate. It was a very good experience and everything was delicious. I will definitely be back next time I am in New York check out the pics.
