Love the view with dinner

By jonesdynasty |

The food was delicious. It was busy but they kept our water full and the server was very friendly. We ate starter, meal and dessert. All were excellent! We went at sunset and watched the city go from day to night. Just fantastic!

Nice view, Small Menu

By Tanya |

I went there with my vegetarian son. The menu was very much geared towards adults and I am not sure there was even a vegetarian option on the menu...maybe 1. He wasn't interested so half of my family stayed and the rest of us left and went to another place. I heard that what they ate was good, but it isn't for picky eaters or eaters who don't eat seafood.

Amazing views, amazing food

By Charlotte L |

Great experience at One World Observatory Restaurant. Booked in advance as soon as the reservations became available (30 days before), and would recommend this to others in peak times too. Although they were acceptng walk-ins when we visited mid-afternoon on a Saturday. We decided to eat here as a birthday treat for my partner who was celebrating his birthday while in NYC. We had burger and fries, and desserts, and cost seemed reasonable for what it was. Good atmosphere and views were incredible on a clear day. Not that we felt particularly rushed, but when we booked we were told we would have a table for 90 mins. We only had 2 courses and ordered pretty much straight away, and we were still over the 90 mins allocation. Just as a warning to others who might want to stay longer.

Great Service on top of NYC

By Starryeyed2015 |

Apart from stunning views the food staff and service are excellent. A great way to finish observatory tour

Stopped here for a drink

By John A |

We had a drink here after visiting the observatory. I had a beer and my partner had a Tribeca Cocktail that the bar tender took great pride in telling us he designed it. Well worth a visit... Great atmosphere, drinks were good and the service was attentive and very good too. Next time we will stay to eat, the menu looked good!

Not happy

By adrialvarez |

I booked it thinking it was a formal restaurant, however is not. I wasnt informed that I had to buy the ticket to the observatory and do the whole tour... So I didnt enjoy the tour because I was stressed I was going late.. and the restaurant was not worth it. Ist more like a Café type. good view only in certain tables and very noisy. For the price, I do not recommend it.

I'd say worth it, just to say you did it ~

By tammyjewel628 |

We had a drink, which was great. Staff friendly. We didn't have time to eat as we had timed tickets for the 9/11 museum. Would like to go back. Staff friendly. The view was cloudy as it had rained. I would think view would be awesome. Food photos look amazing, so wish we had more time. Hope to get back someday.

40th Birthday

By James |

Celebrated my 40th at the restaurant on the weekend before Christmas. Pre booked the all inclusive package which was $175 each. Seems pricey but was great value in the end. We had booked our table for 19:00 but the previous guests hadn't vacated the table prior to our arrival despite being asked several times but the staff (rude). Not to worry we were offered a free drink at the bar which was welcome. We waited a while but the other guests were not keen to move on. As such in the end we were offered an even better table which we were grateful for. Once seated the service was impeccable as were the staff. The food and drinks were amazing and plentiful, even took some back to the hotel as couldn't finish it all. Overall a great experience and worth the money. Also the lift up and down is a great experience.

Food started off so well but went downhill fast after the starters

By KellyIom |

Premium dining experience for 2… Starter was delicious - both the tempura cauliflower and the caesar salad, but the main course and desserts were not good (steak frites - all fat, cracked pepper chicken - disgusting, chocolate lava cake - stone cold). Not worth $500 - half that maybe but definitely felt ripped off. The views were good but you don’t need to eat there for the views.

One world Trade restaurent ! A meal not to forget

By Richard E |

An expérience not to be missed ! We had dinner here and I have to say it is probably the best meal we have had in Newyork , we had the steak and it was exceptional ! We had a minor problem and the General manager came over and spoke to us … Rebecca was very personable and really recovered the situation .. thank you

Don’t speak to the guy with curly hair he lol spoil your visit with a rudeness we have never seen in our life making you

By mockingsheeps l |

Don’t speak to the guy with curly hair he lol spoil your visit with a rudeness we have never seen in our life making you feel sooo unwelcome! This guy should be fired on the spot after we spent more than 500 dollars on the spot!!!!!!

Amazing

By tburns34 |

I’ve been to the one world observatory before a few years ago but never dined here , as a treat we said we would book a reservation to have dinner, one word Amazing ! Our waiter Kenyell was amazing he was so knowledgeable about everything including having a good chat as regards music too , and also he made amazing cocktails too. He will remember his Mancunian friends 😂 I would Definitely recommended dinner in here , only thing you have to also pay to go up to the observatory too. Food was superb too I couldn’t eat it all as was very filling , really nice vibe to the restaurant. Go for the experience.

Top of the World

By CJ N |

I ask for champagne and there was no hesitation. That was my goal. It was chilled and delivered without any demur. Wandering through the room, schmoozing with other tourists and even locals, we appreciated how much friendlier New York has become over the years. Views of the Statue of Liberty below were great on a partly cloudy day. I want to go back.

Classy all the way! Fantastic

By S G |

Classy all the way! Fantastic views. Wonderful service. Great atmosphere and good food. What else do you need to have a great night? Make One World Trade Center and the 911 memorial museum a day trip and have lunch or dinner at the restaurant - - this really makes for a wonderful day.

Good view

By lovesdecentgrub |

Drinks were brilliant although a tad pricey . View was slightly hazy but it was very nice to chill with a drink and enjoy the atmosphere

Great food and service

By Dickie-Wils |

If you are doing the observation deck then make make reservations for after your tour. The views up Manhattan are spectacular at night time. The food was good. The staff superb and the the manager was very accommodating when a few things missing from the menu. Would definitely recommend and visit again.

Unbeatable location

By florida2013mjb |

Quite simply the most stunning location for a restaurant you can imagine - breathtaking views over New York and surrounding areas as a backdrop to your meal. Service was excellent, food great, all in all a memorable experience. Its not cheap, but then you have to pay for such an experience.

Poor quality food

By Baggerz98 |

Yes, great experience, amazing views, friendly staff but the food was appalling when we visited. Poor quality control resulting in dried, over fried chicken breaths in a semi stale bread being passed for an over priced sandwich Really, should be doing better!

Amazing!!

By Olive |

Jason and Nicole made this trip Incredible! Their recommendations and insane cocktail skills are not to be missed! All with an insane view of New York through the floor to ceiling windows - I will 1000% be coming back!!

Dine At The Top Of The World

By Barry B |

After a most enjoyable visit to the One World Observatory we decided to have lunch in the One World Observatory Restaurant before descending to ground level again. The restaurant is divided into two sections - the first being a self-service cafeteria type of area and the second located beyond this area and being a proper sit-down bar and restaurant. It was quite busy but the Greeter quickly found us a window table for two and from which we enjoyed a fabulous birds-eye view over the Hudson River, Liberty and Ellis Islands, New Jersey, Hoboken and beyond. The bar area was lively but as is usual in the USA the bartenders were very professional and made sure nobody was waiting for too long. Fortunately we were dining and so had table service and both my wife and myself had pates of Chilled Shrimp with a nice cold beer on the side. I should just add that Chilled Shrimp in the USA is what in the UK we would call hugely Jumbo prawns, and they were delicious. I can't remember if the plate consisted of four or five Shrimps but either way they were not only highly delicious but also perfect portions for lunch. The menu itself was extensive with a very good range of dishes and drinks, thus making the One World Observatory Restaurant a destination in itself. Although busy, there was no pressure to vacate the table after dining thereby making it a nicely relaxed lunchtime. If visiting there and with young children I would suggest the self-service area as more suitable in terms of area and price, but if with older children, partners or family members the restaurant would be the preferred and more memorable option. Also note there is an 18% service charge added to the bill, which in view of the location, quality of the staff as well as the food, seems quite reasonable to me.

Lunch at the top of NYC

By scotty2018 |

After spending the morning walking around admiring the views stopped in and had a fantastic lunch with a great view. Did not want to leave.

Nice View but for a price

By blackjackbooster |

As one would expect the food is not cheap this high up I mean $5.00 for a bottle of water but certainly the view is something you do not experience in any other restaurant. If you have the time and some extra cash to spend then this is the place to eat while you’re in NYC

Delicious food and breathtaking views

By Flyboi47 |

We booked here for lunch after our VIP tour of the Observatory and were certainly not disappointed. We started off with the Seasonal Cocktail whilst perusing the Menu. The food and service that followed could not be faulted and the views from our window table took your breath away. It was worth every penny and I would dine here again in a heartbeat.

Bar with a view

By Marisela B |

Yesterday I finally decided to visit the ONE WORLD OBSERVATORY and after the visit I sat at the bar with the most spectacular view in NYC. There I was extraordinarily served by George and Ryan who prepared two delicious cocktails for me attending my own requests about the specifics I wanted. It was a moment of relax and nice chat.

AND THE VIEW IS MAGNIFICENT TOO !1

By gizmoandchase |

After taking in the awe inspiring view, drop into the small classic restaurant. The chef is amazing and anything you order will be prepared and presented with European flair. All of their pasta dishes are excellent !

An amazing Anniversary Dinner 100 floors in the Sky

By Darrell S |

As I searched for options on our trip to NYC, was interested in the all inclusive meal package for the One World Observatory Restaurant and while not cheap at 150 US per person, when you include tips, taxes, trip up to the Observatory and a great meal and 2 drinks and amazing food and views, would suggest it is well worth the money. Would definitely eat here again.

Fantastic views

By Matt S |

Definitely a 5 out of 5. Wow, fantastic food, reasonably priced with fantastic views of Manhattan and surrounding areas. Purchased the restaurant and observation deck access, which is a good choice, highly recommend.

Great server

By Fungusqueen |

We made a spontaneous decision to eat at One World Observatory Restaurant. They were able to accommodate us even though we hadn’t made a reservation. Haque, our server, was wonderful. He was both kind and friendly. The food was good and the view magnificent.

Lunch with a view

By BrianM_colo |

What a great unique place to have lunch. the view doesn't get much better. We were pleasantly surprised by the quality of food and service. Drinks were also very tasty. Its a great place to take a load off when crushing the tourist spots in NYC.

Worth dining at the top of NYC!

By Shubhra T |

First, one Tip: If you plan to dine here, dine here first and then go to purchase memorabilia. The bill gives a discount to memorabilia price/ freebies, above a certain purchase price. Now, on to We were at One World, and after the awesome experience at this place, had to try this place. Menu and drinks: The menu for food and drinks are somewhat limited, but quite creative and attractive. The drinks were quite well-made and flavorful, while food was delectable. Quantities are to the lower side. Service: Very hospitable, caring and knowledgeable. Overall, worth experiencing.

Overall okay, but without the view there would be better places.

By J & D |

Overall a pleasant experience. We weren’t able to get a booking on Feb 18 but asked if we could be seated. The lady at reception suggested we return in 15 mins advising that she may be able to seat us at the bar. When we did return she gave us the great news that due to a no show she was able to give us a table. I wish I could remember her name as she was brilliant, not just with us but all of the diners. The food was more expensive then you could get at ground level. But there is a reason for that. There was also nothing wrong with the food, in fact the five choices (from a very reasonable menu) that we had was quite delicious. And while you probably could get something with more of an even greater wow factor at ground level, the wow factor with this restaurant is of course the view. We had no problems with our servers. All were very attentive.

A great dinner with a breathtaking view

By pj_campbell |

Got to spend my twenty eighth birthday at the One World Observatory Restaurant thanks to my best friend, and it was a truly spectacular experience. We were there in January during restaurant week, and we had a chance to partake in food from around the city, enjoying wine from the World Trade Center, all while taking in the absolutely breathtaking view of the city. It was a truly fantastic experience I'll never forget, and I have my best friend to thank for it. If you have the chance, you have to come visit this restaurant. It's truly a great experience.

Nice stop in our mother daughter trip

By Jennifermq |

We really enjoyed our dinner. The waitstaff was fantastic and my daughter loved her chicken sandwich. Would recommend to friends.

A Christmas Disappointment!

By Maria Victoria A |

We should have been given the chance to downgrade to standard from premium since there was zero visibility that day. The food and drinks were mediocre at best. The ambiance of the restaurant itself was a disappointment. The price tag of this whole experience was a total rip-off, even if it was a clear day.

Brilliant experience

By CThorn87 |

We paid for the all inclusive meal with the window seat view. As we booked for 5pm we got the best of both day and night view of the New York skyline. Food was amazing, service was great and the cocktails were good. Would go back any day of the week and recommend this to anyone else.

Amazing space, visit ruined by staff

By Clara381 |

This is my favourite place in NYC. I have visited twice before and I adore sitting at the bar with the views of Manhattan sprawling out in front of me. On my recent trip I was very excited to introduce my partner to the Observatory and then have drinks at dinner at this amazing bar. I looked forward to this more than anything else on my trip. We visited the WTC on 7th May, we took the guided tour, then went to the museum. We then went on to the observatory. We approached the bar at around 5pm, the first bar you come to was quite busy, but the person at reception said we could go on through to the other (in my opinion better) bar. As we walked past her colleague told her off and said she needed that bar cleared by 6pm. There was no-one tending the bar, and eventually we had to ask one of the restaurant staff who were setting up for a private function for drinks. As we were given our drinks ($50 for 2 drinks and tip) a member of staff came past and said very loudly she needed the bar cleared by 6pm. After 10 minutes another member of staff said to the person behind the bar she needed the bar cleared. The barman said he thought the area was needed by 6pm, and as it wasn't even 5.30pm what was the hurry? We finished our drinks and left. I was so disappointed that we weren't able to enjoy a few drinks at my special place, I had looked forward to it so much and it was ruined. I understand the area was booked for a private event- that's the chance you take, but why allow us to sit down and then make us feel so unwelcome? It is truly an amazing space, on this occasion ruined by two staff members.

A unique experience in the world

By csnmrc |

March 8 spent at One World. After admiring a beautiful sunset we moved to One Dine to enjoy a great dinner (congratulations to the Chef!!) with a breathtaking view of the city that turned on its lights. The Brooklyn Bridge in all its glory. We were greeted professionally by Iva who was able to advise us in the choice of dishes and Nikki always thoughtful and kind. A unique experience in the world. It has its cost but it was worth it!! Thanks to all the staff. Thank you, New York.

Awesome views. Food not bad either!

By John F |

Fabulous views of New York while you dine. Excellent food and service. I had a beer, and three course lunch with wine. A little pricey (unforgettable views!) but I enjoyed the whole experience. Highly recommended.

Nice to celebrate and remember forever!

By Rodrigo |

Nice place to celebrate my mom’s birthday. The waiters are very polite and they gave congratulations to her and she received a letter with some words regarding the occasion to keep it as a gift.

Very disappointing - spend you money somewhere else

By Lu S |

We've booked according to the weather forecast to have a great sunset view. But arriving there, we found out the tables are in the middle of the building, and there is a great distance between where you seat and the "windows". Food price would be ok, if it was at least average, but it was a really untasteful meal. The ribeye was only grilled with nothing else, and the charred broccoli was really toooo charred and peppery. I'm not sure if it was black because of the ashes or the pepper. Potatoes were ok (but who can make bad potatoes?!?) The chicken breast and the sides were insipid. Any of them had the same taste, not possible to distinguish which one had mushrooms or squash seeds. Texture were another unpleasant surprise. I'd say you should save your money and have dinner somewhere else after you visit the Observatory. And you can only access the restaurant if you buy the tickets for it.

Totally worth the money

By 424nelev |

Though it's expensive, it's worth the money. Choose a clear day for visiting and you can see for miles and miles. Something to tick off your bucket list. But, the bar/restaurant near the top is ridiculously expensive. Wauw!

Food is nice surprise

By bonitabuffalo |

After, the viewing stop upstairs for a bite and and drink while you still can enjoy a view of the City. Food was very good, and price was reasonable. Hint, if you get the ride package online, opt for the best package and get a $15.00 discount at the restaurant of the gift shop

“Premium” seating may not be.

By David B |

Paid a premium price for supposedly premium seating. At the top of the “world” one would expect paying for a “premium seating” experience would be up against the windows for truly unobstructed views of the city. We were seated overlooking the observation deck with windows a good 30ft away. In this “premium section” there was an open table against the windows which they wouldn’t switch us to. There were also open tables in their non premium section that were also up against the windows making them better than our seats. Made no sense and was an extreme disappointment for what was supposed to be a premium experience. Buyer beware.

Delicious food with spectacular views

By dgraia |

The food and excellent customer service by Haque was why I rated this place a 5!! Haque was friendly and very attentive. Although he wore a mask, I can see he was always smiling! I had the pork chops and it was so flavorful including the side. The views are spectacular while you dine!! It’s pricey, but hey, you live once. This is why I work!! lol To enjoy the finer things of life!!

Sundowners overlooking NY. Good location to chill after a long summers day sightseeing. It’s a typical tourist hotspot

By Gail On the Move |

Great view. Great company. Great cocktails. What more can I say. Ideal location to chill after experiencing the Memorial.

Anniversary lunch

By Kelvin M |

When we last visited NYC 25 years ago we had a really memorable lunch at the top of the twin towers. I can honestly say that the lunch experience at One World was just as amazing. The menu choices and quality would be at home in any decent restaurant let alone one 100 floors up and we certainly did not expect a glass of champagne to be included as well. The views are just mind blowing and we were looked after really well by our server Nikki. Nothing was rushed and the whole lunch was really special - oh and it also included priority admission. Easily the best value lunch we had in New York!

amazing view

By Ingrid D |

Amazing view. Nikki was our waitress and she is just just lovely. You will spend some money here but it absolutely worth it!

Good food but the view needs improvement...

By TravelFaninNM |

Well, we were so excited to experience this place as the views were supposed to be breathtaking . Mother nature decided otherwise as we were sitting in a marshmallow! The day was very rainy and wet, it continued to the night. To the restaurants credit, I received a phone call around noon to inform us there was zero visibility, and they did not expect to change. We were given an opportunity to reschedule, but we were flying hame the next morning. We went at our scheduled time and were seated and there was zero visibility like we were told, total bummer! The waiter even asked why we choose to eat there.... The drinks were good and strong but tasty, apps were also good, salad and clams. Mains were the pasta and the steak, the sauce on top of the steak was so damn good and was cooked to perfection. The pasta was good and both were generous portions. Deserts were just the perfect size and good. So the question is was it worth the high price tag, there was nothing wrong with the food but it's the view one is paying for, take the view out and...... Service was awesome, good food and damm those clouds. Can't blame them for the clouds..

Great view, aweful over priced food.

By Maria G |

Beautiful views, but that is the only good thing I can say about this restaurant experience. A 5 star priced menu, with a 1 star experience. Shall we start with the service? Restaurant staff were slow, over familiar, and lacked finesse. Selecting 2 starters, when they arrived we asked for additional plates so that we could share. This almost seemed to be too hard an ask!! Plates were brought. And the starters were nice, the buffalo mozzarella and prosciutto salad (could have had more prosciutto and melon for that price), and the tempora cauliflower. Plates removed, and new cutlery brought to the table, my fork was bent and twisted, so asked for another. The mains, some sort of pasta dish with gristle of pork, and 3 spicy prawns swimming in oil. Not the best food I’ve had during my stay in NYC, and I’ll never eat here again!!!! A trip to the chemist this morning, as my stomach isn’t right, and my partner - well let’s just say, his stomach has had better outcomes. For $250 for 2 with a bottle of wine, this, we knew would be expensive, not withstanding the $120 we had to pay to get to the restaurant in the first place. But we did expect more silver service than fast food diner.

40th birthdays celebration.

By Liamo1979 |

My first visit to New York was in the year 2000 and this was my 14th trip to NYC, and being in NY before and after the 9/11 atrocities its been difficult to see the change in the skyline. Yes 1 WTC is a fine piece of architecture, I still miss the Twin Towers! I met my cousin on Sunday June 16th and we had a meal at the restaurant, in celebration of us both turning 40 this year. The the food was delicious, atmosphere was brilliant and obviously...the views were outstanding. Andrey our server was also brilliant. I'll be sure to eat here again in the very near future.

Room with a view, and then some!

By Chrissie77 |

Started with a drink but stayed for lunch, such amazing views. Food and service average but we had a great time.

Food is avg/below avg, but obviously you are here for the view and not the food lol

By Jerry S |

if you have ticket with drink, best to get it here in the restaurant. You will get a better view. The food is average. It's not exactly fine dining. Total bill for 2 sandwiches only is like $70. If you come early, you can get a table by the wall for best view.

Amazing Experience during night

By Neeraj Kandukuri |

Restaurant is upscale as you can expect. They have wide variety of drinks and cocktails and the service is simple superb. The one thing which you might be disappointed is the food menu. You dont see wide variety of dishes that you expect at this place and the prices are so high. A peg of Oban can cost you 46$ :D. Overall worth a drink at this place.

Well worth visiting

By leanne w |

Wow! We booked the package with the ticket and dine included. The views at sunset were breathtaking. The restaurant staff were fantastic. The meal was beautiful and we honestly couldn't fault any of it. The steak was cooked to perfection. It cut like butter. We would go back.

Top of the World

By Phillip H |

The most spectacular views of NY, NY in 360 degree viewing. The drinks were outstanding and the food, service was excellent. Take a tour of the building and you will a $15.00 coupon to use in the Bar, restaurant, or shopping.

Unparalleled dining experience!

By Jennifer S |

Unparalleled dining experience! We had dinner "on top of the world" (101st floor) after visiting the Observatory, and enjoyed amazing views and beautiful sunset. The city lights at night completed the experience. We arrived early for our reservation and they were able to seat us immediately. Staff was wonderful, and all drinks and food was excellent. As noted, be aware that 18% gratuity is included in the bill. We loved the broccoli fettuccini and spinach lasagna (red sauce was some of the best I've ever tasted). The red sangria, which is my usual drink, (made with ONE red wine) was one of the best I've had!

Wonderful place

By Elisa_P |

That’s such an amazing place! There are so special dishes and drinks. Unexpectedly, It’s not so expensive. You may just relax watching the best 360 view of the big apple eating something tasty in a wonderful context.

Ridiculously over priced moderate food

By Jando |

€150 for burger and chips and chicken wings and chips. Moderate quality. I think that says it all really. To be fair, the service was superb (as it was in just abou every bar or restaurant in New York) but this is definitely one place to give a miss too.

Amazing view

By Greg K |

Four people. Me, my wife, and 2 kids in their 20’s. Bill with admission to the observatory and lunch and drinks and tip was $400. View was worth it. But probably would not go back. I wasn’t sure if my pork chop was over cooked or my knife was dull..

Top Tier

By Andrea Maria |

My mom and I decided to get a few drinks at the bar and we met Nicole and Mason and they were THE best! From the moment we sat down, top tier service and recommendations from both of them. We also met the manager, Josephine (I think, I’m sorry if I’m getting it wrong) and she was so lovely and explained to us how we can get the experiences on OpenTable. Everyone was so nice and Mason can definitely hook up a drink! Nicole, it was a pleasure to meet you and thank you for the Chocolate Lava recommendation, it was delicious!

Enjoyable light meal

By mfurrie |

After an exhausting morning of tours we stopped in here and had a wonderful waiter and yummy bar food. Would definitely recommend for a quick eat and drink.

Fantastic meal with an incredible view

By footydk |

Pre-booked lunch but were plenty tables available to just turn up. We were served by Angel who was lovely. The food was amazing and although quite expensive it’s definitely worth it for the experience.

Great View and Excellent Lunch

By Creighton01 |

Had a wonderful lunch! Recommend the Tuna salad starter and the Branzino and Salmon entrees for lunch! Cheesecake dessert was a little small but all in all a wonderful lunch with great service!

Drinks and dinner with a view

By therowells |

Great place to have drinks and feel on top of the World! I enjoyed a Prosecco at the bar and then enjoyed a light snack !

Dinner with a view

By kgh62 |

Booked the table ahead of time online. The restaurant is quite small so tables at peek periods are rare. We had a bottle of one red wine, very reasonable price and quite good. The flatbread with mushrooms was excellent as was the Branzini. The tiramisu finished it off. The view is amazing, the staff were very friendly and gave excellent service. The price was very reasonable for its location and view which is amazing. If you are doing the tour make a dinner reservation too.

Good food, better service

By Meander37555030829 |

The food, service, and drinks were amazing. Haque was an incredible waiter! He gave good recommendations and was very kind to us. He was the best service we had in the entire city

Eating on top of the world

Amazing place and food. We had Thanksgiving dinner there and was an amazing meal and service. We did not feel rushed. Our waiter and the other staff were very good. We would go back again

Worth Every Penny

By mdsmo |

The ride up in the elevator was amazing both up and down. The view is beautiful. We went in the evening. The lights of NYC were so pretty. Our group had the $150.00 package which included the cost of the elevator, observation deck ( if opened) appetizer, 2 drinks, a entrée, a side and dessert. The tip and tax were also included. We still did tip our server she provided great service. The food was excellent. I was worth the splurge. I would definitely do it again.

Food to match the view!

By Cathy |

Delicious Salmon. I enjoyed my first taste of pecan pie with bourbon and apple ice cream. Mmmm Crisp fruity sav blanc and watched the lights come on in Manhattan. Waitress was polite but not as good as the one serving the next table but very happy to recommend dinner here.

One of the best meals of my life!!! Thank you Pinehurst ladies!!!

By Christopher Tuck |

When I booked our all inclusive dinner I had some concerns. Many times when you go to typical tourist destinations the food is not always good and sometimes it is nothing more than an expensive microwave dinner. Our dinner was not just good it was one of the better meals I have ever had in my life. On top of fantastic food, the service was outstanding. Yes, $150.00 per person does get your attention, but when you factor everything in it is an incredible value. I had two cocktails, both were perfect. I then had the salmon appetizer that was both plentiful and delicious. In many upscale restaurants, my appetizer would larger than an entree. For my entree I had the filet mignon and the roasted potatoes. My filet was perfectly prepared and the largest I had ever received in a restaurant. The potatoes were delicious and there were so many I couldn’t finish because I wanted to save room for dessert. The service, from the chef, bartender, waiter and manager was excellent. They were there when we needed them, but they didn’t hover. Then there is the breathtaking view that almost doesn’t look real. The view enhanced the meal, and at times I sat in awe of it. The only thing I didn’t like was the attempted sale of photos etc on our way to the restaurant. This is only a tiny issue in a flawless evening delivered by an incredible restaurant staff. The tip was included, 18%, but we left an additional 7% because of how perfect the meal was provided to us.

Speacial Location for Speacial Occasion

By Rob B |

The building is along side the Memorial Park making for a emotional visit. The elevator ride makes for a historical view of lower Manhattan through the early years of Peter Styvesant to the present. Once the arriving t the "top" the video takes you for a visit into Manahattan, but when the video ends ...I don't want to spoil your visit, but it is worth the cost of admission. We ate at the formal restaurant, ONE DINE and though the menu is limited the options satisfy. The calamari appertizer and flatbread was wonderful. We had the Salmon, the Polenta, the Lamb Tbone and the Pastrami Ruben, making for a diverse tasting. Sayit, our waiter was totally awesome and the service was like fine dining. Have the time to enjoy the daylight hours, then sunset and into the evening, watching the City put on its night colors was wonderful.

Celebration Meal

By K5660 |

We decided to book a meal here whilst visiting New York to celebrate our big birthdays. To gain access to the restaurant you have to pay to enter One World Observatory which was slightly annoying as we were keen to have a lovely meal and watch the sun set from this iconic venue. There is no way to fast track the queue but once we were sat at our table we relaxed. The view as the sun sets is amazing and the staff were friendly though they were keen to clear away as 9 pm approaches. The meal at first glance was small but it was cooked to perfection and tasted amazing. We would definitely recommend this restaurant.

Wonderful restuarant!

Delicious food and amazing scenery! A bit pricy, but the waiter was very nice and the food tasted very good.

Mandatory visir

By James Frinzi |

The observatory is cool, and very meaningful. That is not in question. The bar has questionable wine though. That said, the cocktails are legit. Most people seemed to think they were on the sweet side. My wife had the Coney Island, and it was citrusy and refreshing. I had the High Tower. It was good, but not that great. The people next to us had the sangria and the A Train. Both of which were horrible. I had some champagne, and it was pretty good. Of course the atmosphere and view are amazing. In any case, it’s legit and you need to go there.

Food is good .... but

By AllyG520 |

The food is good. Scallops sweet and filling. BUT - remember you must buy a pass to the viewing platform & there is NO PLACE to sit until you get your table. DO NOT get there too early or you’ll be standing for a LONG time.

On top of the world - One world Observatory

By Deborah A |

The views from here were stunning as they offer a 360 degree view of the Hudson and East rivers and the height looking down is awesome. It’s a shame that there isn’t an open air observation deck but I guess at that height there could be issues. The elevator ride to the top is well done with ever changing views of the city as you gain height and a slide show at the top to then reveal the view is well done. There is plenty of room and having a pass meant we didn’t have to queue.

Amazing experience

By Julia F |

This is an amazing spot for lunch!! Our server Haque was so hospitable and made our experience so special. The cocktails were so satisfying and food was excellent. Would recommend to everyone!

Excellent food, even better views.

By Mark K |

Was a bit sceptical of eating at a tourist destination but the food here was exceptionally good, the service warm and the views incredible. We visited at sunset so got to see the city by day before dinner and lit up at night on the way down afterwards.

Amazing view but food let it down

By Holidays932 |

The best view I’ve ever seen in my life. Stayed to eat dinner but food was not good had to be sent back twice as pasta was cold. Chair was dirty and I sat in it as didn’t realise they haven’t been cleaned. Think they need to put more effort in the food but views out of this world.

Amazing views while you dine

By trollydolly71 |

Took my mum here for here 70th birthday and although the menu is quite small the food was perfectly cooked and the service was very attentive, we had a really nice view all the way uptown (all though through the mist ) I would recommend this as a nice place to go. It isn’t the most beautiful or exclusive of restaurants as you overlook the public viewing platform but the views and service made up for this, we had two mains a starter and a glass of wine it was $102..as a one off treat and for the views alone I think this was fine . Obviously you have to get ticket to get to it but we were doing this as a stand-alone sight anyway and had no problem with this.

Good food, but poor customer service

By Onion508 |

It’s important to note the food and service were good. However, the booking was made for the Monday, a month in advance. This booking was changed, ON THE DAY OF THE BOOKING, because the restaurant had been bought out. Our whole day had been booked around this and it did not feel like the customer services representative had much understanding of this inconvenience and the only concession she made was to change the booking to the following day. Very very disappointing customer service which was lead to this review. The food was pricey, but good and the view were incredible.

Awesome bar, but overpriced as expected

By MJH |

Part of our ‘Freedom Tower’ night, we stopped in for a few beers. Good service, and an 18% Gratuity forced upon you for rather average service. Guess we forgot what the term ‘tip’ means anymore. About as good as any bar I have ever been to…average.

a meal with a view

By German A |

If your viting the one world observatory and its time fot lunch or dinner this is the place to be, Good food and drinks with a view

Great food, amazing view

By Jan |

We went for lunch on Sunday 14/4 and it was the best meal I have had in NYC in the last three trips. I had chilled shrimp which was a very pretty dish with fresh delicate flavours, t bone lamb with carrots and lava bean purée - the lamb was really well cooked (medium as I requested) tender and juicy and the carrots and hummus were the perfect additions, followed by orange and olive oil cake, perfect. The service was fantastic, lovely waiter and the wine was good. Could just eat that meal again, loved it!!

ONE Dine at One World Observatory is indeed a great deal

By Graeme Smart |

Best meal while in NYC I wasn't sure what to expect as it's so new but it was amazing and if you add everything up 3 courses two drinks tax etc and the observatory included it's a bit of a bargain. We both had the filet mignon and it was cooked perfectly medium-rare there was lots of food so much so we left with doggy bags nothing was too much trouble the 360 views are amazing everything was included in the price and a glass of champagne for our wedding anniversary was brought over. However, as it is also an attraction do expect airport-style security on your way in after that you are in for a treat

Lovely lunch, a little expensive

By Gemma E |

My husband and I stopped here for lunch. The service was great here and the meals came out in good time between the starter and the main meal. The views were great. It was a little pricey but due being where we were I guessed they put the prices up.

Plans Changed

By Jeri Jo S |

We had 5:30pm reservations but had to go somewhere else. You can not just go up and eat at this restaurant without paying the $35 entrance fee to the New World Trade Center. So $70 to go up and keep our reservation. Too bad.

Amazing Dinner with a View!

By Ximena B |

My son and I had dinner here the day before yesterday and had a wonderful time. Nicole, our server, was incredibly friendly and attentive, and she helped make our experience truly special. The food tasted absolutely delicious! And the view over New York was breathtaking.

The outside is beautiful.

By Jerry P |

We wanted to go up to the top. $108 for the two of us!!! I don't mind spending money, this was just too much to go up and down. The Empire State Building at least had history as you meandered to the top.

Poor reception at the bar

By drjjoe |

Just been trying to sit on a table for a 10 min drink in the empty restaurant. Was declined a table with the advice it’s only available for people who would order food. Unfriendly staff. Bought all inclusive experience with vouchers, just wanted to use it there, but as bar is so far away from the good views, not worth upgrading

Good food - but ripped off to go for dinner!

By StaceyF877 |

We had reservations for dinner for 7pm. We booked through the ‘open table’ website and received a confirmation email from them. This email did not state any information other than a confirmed date and time for our dinner reservation. We turned up for our reservation to be greeted by a security guy (who looked as fed up as could be) telling us we had to purchase a $40 per person ticket each to be let up for our dinner reservation. We hadn’t been informed of this previously and hadn’t budgeted for this either. Obviously we knew the dinner wasn’t going to be cheap and we didn’t intend on needing to do the observatory tour - as we would see the view during our meal - whilst spending money!! Luckily, my husband had his credit card and had to put the tickets (which we didn’t use) on that. We were then ushered into a lift and told we ‘had’ to participate to the tour before we would be ‘allowed’ to our dinner reservation. By now, we were 25 minutes late for our table. We argued that we didn’t want to do the tour and just wanted to go for dinner. But the security guys were nothing but rude. We went up in the lift to the beginning of the tour and eventually got to speak to the girls running the tour. A kind lady took us one floor down and led us to the restaurant to let us commence our reservation - luckily the restaurant let us have our table 35 minutes late! This poor lady also apologised for the rudeness of the security staff and the headache we’d had to go through! We were very disappointed with the way we were treated - we feel that it is a con to scam money out of restaurant customers. We literally paid $80 to use the lift. I’ve since read that other customers only paid $15 each and others got money off their bill after purchasing a ticket. It seems there is no fairness or no set rules. It really is a shame. It spoiled a beautiful meal, which was supposed to be a special birthday meal for our final night in NYC. Considering our meal cost over $200 - I think asking us to pay a further $80 just to gain entry is a little unfair and should be made clear upon booking. I certainly wouldn’t recommend it to anybody looking for somewhere to dine in future.

Worth Going

By ArlingtonNOVA |

The food was good, but go there for the view. Most tables do not sit directly beside a window, but you can see out multiple windows from all tables. You must buy admission (elevator tickets) to the Observatory in order to get up to the restaurant. We printed our Observatory tickets at home and thus skipped the long line outside of people buying tickets. I suggest making dinner reservations to increase chances of getting a good table.

classy views, low class restaurant

By musetunes |

The weekend brunch special was only $85/person and included 2 drinks and the elevator ride to the top. The elevator ride was pretty cool, especially the reveal at the top (I won't spoil it) The restaurant is low class. No atmosphere, just one step up from a tourist cafeteria experience. The food was okay, but the drinks were terrible. They were only able to do a bloody mary from a premade mix which had triple the amount of pepper any real bartender would have used. Very polite staff, but kind of inexcusable that this kind of mistake would persist, with no recourse. They tried to make one from scratch but I had to tell them how and it was very poorly executed. So they are not hiring skilled staff at the highest restaurant in NYC. I would NOT recommend having a meal up there, the atmosphere is NOT high class. They have a great location and could have done sooooo much better. But the views all around are great. That said, the Edge has less reflection off the windows if you're trying to get a photo. They didn't design this as well as the Edge. But still, the views are lovely. Just get a coffee in the snack bar, don't bother with their version of "dining" unless you like shopping malls and food courts.

Good, but not the best

By fitzhoyt |

We had burgers & fries here and the burger was good but not the best I've had. I would go again, especially for the VIEW!!! But, I would probably try a different meal.

Good meal with a great view!

By alpinemccain09 |

I had the burger which was really good. Fries also great. Wife had salmon which she said also really good. Good draft beers. Overall great experience with the amazing views, glad we came. I’d recommend making a reservation as when it opens at 1pm they sit reservations first. There is a washroom inside restaurant.

Spectacular view and great dinner

By TravelGER49 |

We booked the Prix Fixe Dinner in advance. As we came to the reception area we were directed immediately to the elevator because the priority access was included. After around 50 secs we reached the top level. After a light show we had enjoyed the spectacular view of the city. Later we had a fantastic 3 course dinner. On top of that the waitress took a very good care of us. Thanks a lot!

Fabulous One World All inclusive dining experience.

By Gordon F |

Our friends had booked the One World All inclusive dining experience for my wife’s birthday. Unfortunately the weather on the evening we went was very wet and low clouds. There had been an opportunity to rearrange due to the lack of visibility but our schedule made this not an option. Rebekah and all the staff made us very welcome. We were the only people there and got the staffs undivided attention. The all inclusive dining experience consisted of 2 drinks and 3 course. Champagne was what we chose to start the evening off. The food was delicious, a varied choice to suit all tastes, beautifully served. Wine was the choice for our second drink to go with the meal. Due to the disappointment at not being able to see the view, Rebekah arranged for us to revisit the observatory the following day. This was a lovely touch which we did and thoroughly enjoyed the experience, finishing off with a cocktail or 2 while admiring the magnificent view. We cannot thank Rebekah and her staff enough for making the whole experience very special.

It was the weekend of Thanksgiving

By Carmen M |

8:30pm wonderful view, not one cloud. Excellent service. Everyone with a smile and interested in making you have a memorable experience. Even the chef come to say hello and ask if everything was ok. And the food..DELICIOUS!! We have: house wine, a margarita, potatoe soup, mignon, chocolate molten and Amaretto. It was a great night, THANKS!!

Unreliable!Ruined special occasion!

By ploider |

Arranged to come to New York for sons 21st and booked the trip around taking him for dinner on his birthday to one dine at one world observatory. You can only book 30 days in advance so booked the table as soon as we could.Got several emails asking to confirm the booking in which I responded yes.Arrived in New York to find an email sent less than 24 hours from the booking to say they had cancelled the reservation without reason. Tried to call and just kept getting answer machine.Left messages and nobody got back. Then they had the cheek to send an email the next day saying thanks for confirming your cancellation even though at no point did I cancel. Wouldn’t recommend going here at all if it’s a special occasion as they are unreliable and pretty much don’t care.

Dinner and a show

By Mike43DBear |

In town for a trade show so we booked a table weeks in advance. Our seating was at 7:00. A terrible storm hit the city at 5:00. After sitting in traffic for over an hour we made it to the top of the tower at 6:30. After a drink in the bar we were seating at our table with a view of the storm. Lightning, clouds rolling through “below” our view, a rainbow and finally a great sunset after the storm cleared out before 8:00. All this was a great show but even that didn’t top the steaks and apps we had. The food was great as was our waiter! A great time and experience!

Great wedding anniversary

By Surgy2014 |

Had a great time, good food, Fairly priced. Just have to make sure you arrive plenty ahead of time. Great view. We thought the restaurant to be a bit more fancy/chique and it was a bit noisy now and then because of the people walking around on the observation deck. Had a great time, late evening view with all the lichts on. Definitely would come again, they added a nice touch to the dinner because it was our wedding anniversary 👍

Expensive for food served, but great view and service

By kathy884 |

The snack bar area at One World Trade observation is stand up only, so if you are ready to sit down, this is your best choice. The system for waiting for a table is quite strange. They don't take your name or put you on a list, but say come back in 20 minutes and we can seat you. They remembered us, though, and that actually did work. I was there with my son. He ordered a burger and I ordered a chicken sandwich, each ran about $25 or so a piece, so very pricey. But of course you are at a major tourist attraction and you have a fabulous view. Food was perfectly fine (good, but not exceptional). Service was excellent (attentive, fast to refill water, bring check, ask if you needed anything, friendly, but not intrusive -- best service at a restaurant I have had in NYC actually).. If you want a place to sit down and relax at the One World Trade Observatory this is basically your choice (very pleasant, but pricey). Sit down and relax at some place before or after in the small area if you don't want to spend the dollars.

Rip off

By Benjamin H |

We had purchased certificates drinks with our tickets, but still had to pay 18% gratuity on these “free” drinks. And the hostess was shockingly rude. Horrible.

Dreadful

By Kay W |

This place is overpriced and hugely disappointing. The sales pitch has to be the view however we had a table that overlooked the viewing gallery and was very noisy. The food was average at best and not only do you have the sales tax they then whack on a compulsory 18% tip - I thought service was on merit. It was like having an extra dinner guest. Added to that you have to pay to get up there so all in all a hugely expensive, very average meal with okay service. In my opinion, avoid and spend your money elsewhere.

Champagne Toast

By Zach K |

Had a great time. Ordered calamari and a Reuben and was neglected for a minor amount of time by the bussing staff who failed to refill water. Our server, Keima, was gracious enough to be extra attentive and offer a free champagne toast to ensure we enjoyed the rest of our evening. A place to bring a date and enjoy a relaxing night with beautiful views of the city! Would recommend.

Food ok

By RBSchex |

There were four adults and three teenagers in our party, and we visited the restaurant at lunch. The lunch menu was very limited - only 4-5 entree options, and very expensive for the food served. Service was extremely slow.

Cancelled reservation last minute

By Katrina S |

Had a table booked for my parents for a special birthday celebration on 3rd April, and got an email telling me that my reservation was canceled 24h before my booking, even though I confirmed booking. Soo disappointed!!

Excellent burger & fries!

By ppettyHtown |

Surprisingly this tourist spot has an excellent burger and fries! Pricey yes but quality meat, bacon, cheese and nice brioche grilled bun. The view alone on Floor 101 is worth spending money for food or drink. The bartender was making specialty cocktails that were works of art! So if you just want an incredible drink at the bar, go for it! Didn’t get five stars because the tables and chairs really need to be replaced. But the staff was very responsive and pleasant. Don’t worry about some of the other reviews. Give it a try and you will not be disappointed.

Great view, average food

By Tony |

Had a 7:30 dinner reservation coupled with our all-inclusive observatory ticket. I'm glad we got the all inclusive ticket because it gave us skip the line access to the elevators - both going up and down and it included a $15 voucher to use for the restaurant. . The food was average at the very best. Way too expensive for the quality of food. If it weren't for the $15 credit, I would have been very annoyed. The sunset you can't beat from 102 floor above NYC - that's what saved this place for us. Wouldn't mind coming again for drinks, but definitely not for dinner.

Great view , great service , and great food ! Eat while dining atop the tallest building in the United States . Well worth the trip up in the clouds !

Wish we would have eaten!! The view is awesome.

By spangle2003 |

Only had a drink here, but boy the view!! Probably the best view in the world to have a meal. Do visit the rest rooms whilst you're there, the view round that side is simply superb!!!

Nothing relevant unless you book you risk eating without enjoying the view

By Yuri Rosati |

Nothing relevant unless you book you risk eating without enjoying the view! The staff is friendly and professional! The menu is rich but without excelling in authenticity and originality!

Totally worth the splurge!

By Ali V |

Food as very good. We had the gnocchi and the cheeseburger. Best burger I had in NYC. Wine selection was good. Our sever was great. … oh and did I mention the views?!?!!!!! Breathtaking! Totally worth the price!

Incredible!

By alibram |

After a visit to the one world observatory we visited the restaurant for a meal with a view! We had a window seat and watched the Manhattan skyline light up as dusk fell. An absolute amazing way to spend a Friday evening! We were actually pleasantly surprised with the quality of the food, and hadnt really been expecting much but the food was excellent as was the service.

MANDATORY TIP

By Astrid J G |

Tipping is mandatory at least 18%. Now I understand why employees care little about liking or serving attentively. The food came cold and the requests were all negative. Pity with such a beautiful viewpoint!!

Avoid avoid avoid

By perowe |

Avoid like the plague. Horrid, horrible, inedible. The restaurant , to make things even less attractive, is not even located against the windows but is set far back.

A Christmas Eve Adventure Gone Awry at One World.

By Donny D |

Dining at One World was meant to be a romantic Christmas Eve celebration for Dave and me, but it quickly turned into a series of comical mishaps. We were greeted by an unfriendly hostess and given a wobbly table without a tablecloth, which felt more like a circus act than fine dining. Our highly anticipated roasted clams and crème brûlée were mysteriously unavailable, adding to our disappointment. The ambiance, instead of being festive, felt more like a dentist's waiting room, far from the "first-class service" and "best views" we had imagined. For the price of their Christmas Eve package, we expected much more—better service, a welcoming atmosphere, and accurate menu offerings. We learned that our hostess was unexpectedly scheduled to work that day, which might explain her lack of enthusiasm. Nearby, a Swiss couple left in frustration after waiting an hour without service, highlighting the overall sluggishness of the staff. Our waiter, who was working a double shift, seemed overwhelmed but remained polite. Overall, what should have been a magical evening turned out to be an overpriced disappointment. Save your money; this dining experience felt more like a tourist trap than a holiday celebration.

Good food great service and wonderful views

By nicdigby |

Went for lunchtime with my children. The staff were excellent at accommodating my disability and made sure I was comfortable. They were very welcoming, but had placed me right next to the toilets and all I could hear was the noise of the electric hand dryers. I asked to be moved and this was done with minimum fuss. The views were absolutely astounding and nobody minded when the kids got up to get a closer look at different angles. The waitress was excellent and very friendly and clearly knew her menu and wines. We had a bottle of Sauvignon at $58, I had the duck, husband had fish and the kids had steak and chips off the kids menu. The total bill came to $238 - which is pricey BUT we knew that before we went - all of these sorts of places command a premium for a captive audience and in our view the food was very good, the service excellent and the views unrivalled. Recommended - far better than the Empire State Building in my view.

BREATHTAKING VIEWS and GREAT FOOD

By ibarbara |

We went for lunch and I was very pleased with our overall experience. The food was delicious, reasonably priced and the view breathtaking. The restaurant is accessible from the public observatory and open to it as well. Personally, I would have preferred it to be closed off like Windows on the World used to be and more "fancy" but it was very nice and very clean! In front of the restaurant is the bar and cafe which was very crowded. Why those people didn't go into the more formal restaurant is beyond me. If I were to return to the Observatory I would not hesitate to book a dining reservation once again. I was very pleased with the quality of the food and the cleanliness of the restaurant. Special KUDOS to TAYLOR who is the hostess. She was very nice, very happy, very accommodating and her big smile was a welcome sight!

Over priced and poor service, not great.

By bendy37 |

I booked a table in advance but the weather wasn’t great, so I didn’t really need to. It wasn’t busy. We arrived and were seated, it took 20 mins for someone to even come and take our drinks order, although the waiter with water did bring some. We ordered burger and fries and I had a cocktail. The burger was ok but the fries were so over cooked I couldn’t even put my fork in them. There was nothing else on the plate. The whole bill came to over $150 without a tip and the service was awful. I wouldn’t be recommending you eat here.

Great but expected perfect for the price we paid

By Manicrose |

We picked to do the all inclusive dining package to celebrate our 10th wedding anniversary. $150 each for admission to the observation deck and a meal with starter, main, 1 side, dessert and 2 drinks. The price also guarantees a window seat. When booking we mentioned it was for our anniversary so they left us a card on the table and we got a great table with a lovely view of the sunset. The drinks selection is great. Lots of alcoholic options - I tried two different cocktails and my husband opted for the beers. The food was of a good quality. I had the salmon for my main. My husband had steak which came slightly undercooked from how he had asked. The waiter quickly noticed and said they would get the kitchen to rectify it. To me this should have taken only a few minutes as only needed to be done slightly more. However it was about 10 minutes before the dish was returned which spoilt the meal slightly for me as one of had their main and the other didn’t. There was also one waiter who let the service down. Wish I knew what his name was as he really shouldn’t have been in a front of house role. He would just dump the dishes on the table without saying a word, might as well have thrown them on the table for all the grace he served us with! When we asked if we could get our second drink he walked off without saying a word and sent someone else to take our order. By the time we got our second drink we had nearly finished dessert so these ended up feeling rushed. Overall a good meal with an amazing view but for that price I expected perfection, not the issues we had.

Only go for the view; do not dine

By C6475BQasml |

Would not do it again. We booked a dining experience package for 5 people during sunset (~$1k). The view was incredible and is the only reason why I did not go down to 1 star. The dining area faces uptown/Times Square/Empire State building versus WTC memorial/ Statue of Liberty. Do not waste your money on the food or drinks here. The service was terrible, unknowledgeable on basic bar drinks, and far from attentive or timely. Our food took much longer than any table over 4 people around us. Our experience came with the following for each person: 2 drinks, 1 appetizer, 1 entree, 1 side, and 1 dessert. Here is my review of the food. The best thing we had the entire night was the Honey Hot Wings as one of the apps. The Cesar salad might as well have been a head of romaine lettuce and lemon juice. The charcuterie board and shashito peppers were basic. The steak frites (2 orders at medium, 1 at well done) came out to us cold to the touch. Could we tell anyone? No. Most of the wait staff disappeared for 10 min while our food continued to get colder. The fries were not frites; they were ur typically thick frozen fries in a bag that you cook. The scallops were so rich that we could only eat one. The chicken was nothing to write home about. Then came the dessert and that just solidified that this place is nothing short of reheated frozen meals from Costco. We ordered cookies, lava cake and bread pudding. The only thing that tasted actually hand made was the cookies. Oh and the bread pudding had peaches in it which was not mentioned in the menu. And there was no sugary sauce with the bread pudding, just ice cream. So much for a dining “experience.” Since everything was prepaid I’m convinced the server did not care to earn anything above 18% gratuity. Will never recommend this experience to anyone.

Dinner with a view

By Jacob M |

First off, I don’t appreciate how you have to buy an observatory ticket to go to the restaurant. Just a way to get more money out of each person. The view is what made the restaurant. Besides that, the place is like any other average steakhouse, food was expensive but not over the top quality, our server Jasmine was over the top however and would recommend her to anyone!

Great view and great food - an experience above

By kathyd_March2017 |

We brought one of the tickets that included a ‘free’ drink in the restaurant - took the opportunity to have a great lunch in the restaurant. The food was excellent, the service was exemplary - great experience

A Birthday meal

By Chris T |

Having dined at the old Windows of the World at the WTC I felt the new dining experience here is very disappointing The food was ‘ok’ but nothing spectacular. The setting is more ‘canteen’ than restaurant and I certainly feel the website misrepresents the restaurant in actuality. Lastly. The service was dreadful and with a mandatory 18% service added to your check you are left feeling somewhat stung. A shame. I had booked for my partners Birthday. Stunning observatory... fantastic place. Let down by a less than average restaurant and poor service.

A meal with THE view

By Robert J S |

Had a great meal of Atlantic Salmon for $28. Guest had Murray's Chicken for $30. Shouldn't've the salmon been more than the chicken??? The tax was $5.15 and automatic 18% gratuity for waitress Fatima was $10.44. She did a good job for us! It also costs a small fortune to get up to the restaurant. We were walk-ins and walked right in. . This is not the first restaurant I've been at primarily for the view. Of course, it was worth it to dine and look out at the world far, far below. Your results may vary.

Birthday Meal

By Kerry S |

We visit New York a lot and always avoid the tourist stuff but we visited the One World Observatory which was totally amazing but we also had a meal in the restaurant for my birthday. I was a bit skeptical that it would be a bit gimmicky so I was shocked when it wasn’t. We had a table in the window which had amazing views and a real treat. The menu was varied and the service was very attentive. The food when it came was presented beautifully and cooked to perfection and really wasn’t that expensive. Would definitely visit again. Just a note to say you can’t just go to the restaurant you have to have a ticket for the One World observatory as well which can add to the cost if you are just looking to have a meal.

Stunning view! The food was very nice and the staff was helpful Is it a must stop if you visit Nyc!! Don't miss it!

Fabulous

After walking around the observatory this is the perfect finisher, having a drink overlooking the city. It's not cheap by any stretch of the imagination, however it's that something special.

Great food and great views!

By stephanieschwartz15 |

We had a great lunch here before touring the observatory. I had a delicious watermelon and mint lemonade drink. We shared the curried cauliflower soup, I had the burger and my boyfriend had the chicken. The portions were great sizes for lunch and we really enjoyed eating in the clouds!

Magnificent

By Meike K |

You can hardly write about the fantastic view, the words are missing. You have to see it with your own eyes. But I can only praise the restaurant, too. Very friendly service, good selection of dishes and drinks. All very tasty and visually very nicely presented. Highly pleasant, quiet ambience. Worth the price.

Great service!

By Jacob R |

Service is always great thanks to Nikkie our server. She takes the best photos and has a great personality. Food is good I had the Steak and Espresso Martini.

Average food with amazing views!

By Jaime Oliva |

What can I say about the views? Service was correct and kind. Food was average, not so good, not that bad. I would repeat and I will the day i'll be back to NY!

Dine in the Sky

By PopeyeD |

Dined here on a Thursday evening in late September. We booked the “Full Experience” after reading reviews here on TA. For $150 per person you get full access to the observation deck and then at the restaurant you get 2 drinks, an appetizer, main course + side, and dessert. Also tax and gratuity is included in the price. So it’s a bit of a splurge but you are getting good value for the price. We arrived at the observation deck during daylight and were seated for dinner just before sundown so we got the best of both worlds as far as the views. Portions were generous and the food was delicious. I had the Calamari App and the Filet Mignon. Wife had the Burrata and the Brick Pressed Chicken. For sides we ordered the shoestring fries and the rustic potatoes. We each had a Martini and a glass of Cabernet. For dessert we had the NY Cheesecake and the Apple Strudel. We left satisfied and stuffed. Our server Nikki was excellent. Only complaint was that where we were seated there was a see through room divider that separates the restaurant from the observation deck snack bar. There were some people who didn’t have reservations that were waiting for a table kind of gawking through the room divider. Sounds petty but maybe a solid room divider would allow diners some more privacy. It did quiet down as we enjoyed our meal but at first it had almost a cafeteria feel. Also, I had never been to the old Windows on the World Restaurant, but unlike that the tables are not right up against the windows. The restaurant is basically on a balcony that overlooks the observation deck below. The views however are unobstructed and magnificent. Some reviewers complained that there was a lot of noise in the restaurant from people down on the observation deck. This was not the case for us. Overall I would definitely recommend One Dine for a special occasion meal with unparalleled views!

An unforgettable night!

My boyfriend proposed to me at the Observatory and had reservations at the restaurant to celebrate. The staff couldn't have been nicer. They gave us a VIP a booth, two glasses of champagne and a lovely congratulations card. Everyone, from the manager to our waiter (Sayid) was amazing. The view is breathtaking, we got to see the sunset and the city lights. The food was great, especially the pecan tart. Do yourself a favor and try the Central Park Ramble, best cocktail ever. We're planning on going back for our first anniversary!

At the top of the World you can have lunch and dinner or just enjoy drinks at the bar. The view is amazing.

Best way of enjoying a day in the city

Haque was our server and was extremely helpful in choosing the right appetizer and drinks for our happy hour in the city of dreams.

Beautiful

Views are out of this world, it is very expensive but worth the money just to say you've been. I loved this trip and would do it again.

Terrible service good food

By Tom |

The atmosphere is beautiful with the view and the food is delicious but what they had in food and scenery did not make up for the terrible and lackluster service. Our hostess was not friendly and quite rude, as well our server did not come or even check on our table just took our orders and left. I came as a surprise for my 21st birthday was so excited but sadly Applebee’s gives better service then this establishment.

Excellent Food! Service barely average.

By Gail C |

The atmosphere is the main reason to come here. The views are exceptional. Comparable to Space Needle without the rotation. We enjoyed all of our dishes. Some of us combined two starters and all of them were nicely presented and prepared. Wine and cocktail prices were ridiculous. Food prices were more reasonable for where you are. Service was slow even though they weren't that busy. Unfortunately, automatically adding an 18% gratuity to even small tables is a disincentive for waitstaff to care.

Loved it and great views

Floor to ceiling height windows with beautiful views across Manhattan from a building that’s higher than the Shard. We enjoyed it. Unfortunately, there is no outside viewing area

One world Dinner

By L C |

Honestly I had pretty low expectations. Usually observatory restaurants (Dallas, San Antonio, Las Vegas) are pretty blah. So the one world observatory restaurant was a pleasant surprise. We ordered all of the appetizers on the menu. All were very good. And the view was amazing. It was definitely worthwhile.

Highly recommend this place for a totally experience!! I give this place 5 stars.

Amazing experience / service was EXCELLENT!! We sat at the bar and the bartender Kyniel was great!! He is a true mixologist - drinks and presentation was on point!! Great ambiance, amazing view, drinks and food – GREAT! Nicole was so helpful , giving us direction to use the subway!! Every one there was friendly and made it an enjoyable experience ..

Amazing views

By Tony A |

Yoy have to pay to visit the tower as well add the meal. I booked the meal after my tour and wished I hadn't afterwards it meant I wad up there a long time and had experienced the view. The meal and service was average. Worth asking when booking for a window seat.

Waste of Money

By Heather B |

We had this reserved on a zero visibility night. Not their fault. We were on vacation and not checking emails so we didn't know until we got there that we had the option to cancel. Once there we decided to go ahead and eat. Huge disappointment. How does one mess up a filet? By adding no seasoning, that's how. I don't care for leaks and no substitutions were allowed. The bottled water for the table counted as one of the "two included drinks." The dessert we ordered was the lava cake, which had no "lava" and the sticky toffee pudding which was clearly made in a muffin tin. There was nothing appealing about this meal at all. The waiter was only available to take orders and then disappeared. He was rude and condescending when asked about substitutions. We would not go back there even for the view. This was supposed to be a special dinner and we would have been better served at McDonalds.

Lovely

The chicken and the burger well recommended. Never tasted chips so nice and a chicken that’s not dry for once!

Very tasty

By Eddie NYC |

The food here was surprisingly good. Sometimes when you have this big show and view, the food suffers became people think people will come anyway. But we have the lamb t-bone and branzino, and both were absolutely great. Do note: you have to show up way early if you want to make your reservation. I was going to give three stars because I think it’s silly to make people that are going to pay several hundred dollars to eat dinner wait in the same line as the people that just want to go look, but that’s what they do. I kept the four stars because the lovely gentlemen with guest services was able to speed us past most of the wait. Thank you again! If the restaurant is consistently this good, and they figure out how to separate the people eating from the people only viewing, I might give five stars. Yes, the view is absolutely amazing! Well worth the visit. You are literally looking almost straight down at some of the tallest buildings in Manhattan, and living here my whole life, that’s a neat treat.

Lunch With A View!

By cooker72 |

Stumbled upon the restaurant by accident....so glad we did! The burrita was delicious! The only complaint was the crostini that came with it.....sliced too thin, could not spread cheese....not enough for all the cheese! Chicken Sandwich was very large....so glad we share it! Some different flavor combinations...cilantro, shredded carrots, and cucumbers....very tasty! Great to be able to enjoy an awesome view while dining!

Cocktails with a view

By kerryandrich |

Attended just prior to the Coronavirus pandemic and were therefore ‘fortunate’ to obtain a window seat in the bar for sunset/early eve drinks. Amazing experience. The best 360 degree views and surprisingly not overpriced. Friendly bar staff, tasty cocktails.

Nice view, not that good service

By Karen M |

Of course the place has the best view in NY but they take so long to place your order, they never take even a minute to ask you how a re u or if you need any advise...food was really good, cocktails yummy as well, but again the service is just like robot, take order and deliver..

Great food and great views with excellent service

We went for our anniversary. It was a great time with excellent food and even better views. Our server's name was Haque, he did an amazing job making it a fun and memorable experience

Memorable business dining experience

By Tootsie O |

Our dining experience at One World Observatory Restaurant was very impressive. The restaurant is located high up in New York City and the view from the window is breathtaking. The dishes are exquisite and unique, especially the seafood platter, which is delicious. The service is warm and attentive, ensuring we feel relaxed in business meetings too. Although the price is slightly higher, it is definitely worth it considering the environment and the service. We would recommend it to other business teams for the perfect dining option!

Expensive for average food!

By Paula M |

There is no doubt that the views are stunning, and I appreciate that this comes at a cost. However you pay to go in the observatory which is $82 for 2 of us.The menu isn’t huge but there was enough for us to chose from. The rib eye steak was chewy with a lot of gristle. We asked for salad or veg to go with the steak,we were bought Brussels sprouts...I love sprouts but not with steak and chips. We just felt we ended up paying through the nose for a very mediocre meal.My advice is to do the observatory but eat elsewhere.

Birthday surprise ruined by lack of view

By mWm |

After having reservations for weeks and reading the ads for the great views, we did not get what was promised. We were seated at a booth with no views far away from the window. I asked to move to a table with a view and was told no. The tables in first come first serve section had a better view. In our section, the tables with the view where we asked to be seated remained empty. Even though the hostess knew I was clearly upset a manager never came by. Food and service was good. Food was overpriced since we had no view. No effort was made to accommodate us even though there weee many empty tables by the windows.

Great view and service, mediocre food

By PepperTr4vels |

We visited the World Trade Centre and took the ride up to the One World Observatory (an excellent attraction), we ate in the restaurant there and, although the views are amazing and the service was very good, the food is pretty average. Not as expensive as some reviews would have you believe, but pretty poor value for money. Our OWO burgers arrived barely warm, and the fries were 50% salt. A nice experience though - the staff make an effort - and you have the views! Sort out the quality of the food and this could easily be 5 stars.

Just drinks

By gemthorlz |

Just had drinks here although the food and the menu did look so good! Obviously pricey but worth it due to the amazing views

One World Dining New York

By Graeme B |

Location great. Restaurant abysmal. Food garbage. From entering the building to the top floor they all need retraining. Personality implants. It’s a grim place for service and the food is shockingly bad. AVOID.

This is a memory you will not forget

By UK Traveler |

Restaurants on top of buildings can often be hit or miss in cities around the world. Here the food is good. It is not the most spectacular cuisine but it is very fresh and hot. I did not try anything fancy ... just a great burger and fries. The service was excellent and the view is definitely the main event. You are literally on top of the world and a big smile from the waitress will make you feel like a king. It can get very busy here so try and reserve or wait a bit at the bar if you can for a table.

Worth it!

By Francisco L |

The food is excellent. The burrata is our favorite. The view is superb, and definitely worth it. The service is slow, and the tables are small.

Give this a miss! Empire State Building is so much better….

By Claire J |

Beautiful building, great views ( although spoilt by inside pillars and inside lighting reflecting off the windows!) but was really disappointed with the food. Paid £310 in advance to book the observatory experience with dinner. The dinner was 3 courses chosen from a brief menu plus 2 drinks. The first course of belly pork was ok. Didn’t know what to make of the accompanying bowl of just lettuce leaves (not even chopped, just pulled off the lettuce) and nothing else… The second course was bland and I can’t even recall what it was! My champagne was so flat that I took it back to the bar. The barman apologised and poured me another glass which also went flat after the first sip… They knew it was my birthday as this was put on the booking form. Well, no mention of this from the staff, nor particularly great service. At best, we were unlucky that night but I would never recommend this experience to anyone. It was a lot of money for a poor meal. January 2024

A break from the view

By Ntrekker |

The restaurant is decorated with old cameras, telescopes and binoculars-a reference to the views one sees. Its not a formal restaurant but we were content to sit at the bar and order drinks and appetizers. Ok for a short break from savoring the main course - the views of New York City.

Overpriced, nice food, lovely view on a clear day

By Louise K |

I was expecting the experience to be very special but unfortunately I was disappointed. There wasn’t a lot of choice on the a la carte menu. They accommodated putting sauces etc. on the side. There wasn’t any starters to suit my dietary requirements (low fat due to gallstones). We had chicken and it was delicious but $45 for half a small chicken. The breast was tiny! Side of yams which included normal potato’s was undercooked and $19. I’d say there was 3 potatoes in total so we found this extremely overpriced. It gave the air of wanting to be fancy but it just wasn’t. The decor was just like a normal cafe or restaurant. The thing that makes the restaurant special is the view. We were aware the view was limited when we went but it’s something to keep in mind when booking. The view can be limited depending on the weather so the meal may not be worth it. Service could be more friendly. Nobody seems to say goodbye to customers. I find that odd. We spent $200 in total and that was with one main each, one side between us, one alcoholic and one non alcoholic drink and 2 x coffee. I thought this was expensive. I’d get an outstanding meal in Ireland for this price.

We had drinks after our tour - Mason was fabulous

By Jackie G |

We had drinks after our tour of the observatory - Mason has got to be the BEST bartender that I’ve come across - hugely knowledgable and receptive to our needs! Have us some great tips about where to go and what to do in New York He is worth the trip alone

Spring Break

We went to the snack bar section and were just blown away by the views enjoying our snack. Quick service, clean area.

Just do it … at least once in your life.

By S G |

While one may dispute the quality or creativity of the menu, nobody will dispute the value of the experience. Much like Disneyland not really being “magical” - - more overpriced than value; more waiting than experiencing; more suffering than enjoyment. But in the end, we go to Disney at least once because the experience is so unique you just gotta do it. Right? We’ll, dining atop of the FreedomTower is special because you’ll never forget it. Everyone should go at least once.
