Nice dinner! Good setting with nice food and great service. Staff was very helpful and gave great suggestions. Good wine selection and menu was very extensive.

We happened upon this restaurant before going to The Top of the Rock, as it is only a couple streets away. We explained we didn't have much time and despite the place being full (we were lucky to get the table), they said it wouldn't be a problem. In a nutshell, the food is fabulous. It's not cheap, (house red was $68), but my goodness it was fantastic. Service was good and not overly intrusive, and we got out in plenty of time for our Rock experience. If I go to NY again, I would definitely book this place.

This was recommended by the hotel concierge as it was local to our hotel. A very nice atmosphere, good menu choices, big portions and delicious wine too! Would definitely recommend.

We dined here on Wednesday, April 13th. We ate in the outside area which we asked for and enjoyed. Right from the start we were warmly greeted by the host. The menu was very good. We had a chance to speak with the owner / chef who told us most of the recipes were from his family - and you could tell. My wife had the lasagna and I had the veal limone. Both excellent. Solid wine list. We enjoyed a cappuccino and the tiramisu for dessert. I would consider this a hidden gem and highly recommend.

The food was incredible! I enjoyed the salmon while my husband had the veal. The dishes were excellent, and the staff was wonderful. Thank you for a fantastic lunch experience!

The food was almost great. The only thing that was terrible was the bread, I suspect it was not fresh. Nevertheless, the special menu gnocchi with zucchini and shrimps was A M A Z I N G. The brownie with ice cream and pistachios was superb. Unfortunately, the stuff was kind of cold and not super attentive. The location is great but I guess that it was a rather expensive meal for simple dishes.

This is a nice restaurant with a good atmosphere. Good location and good for a business dinner. Food is tasty and the service is good. One weird thing - the floor was very slippy ! Overall recommended.

Had lunch at this fabulous restaurant . Food gorgeous and well presented. Staff very friendly and price reasonable for the area where the restaurant is. Well worth visiting.

We visited twice in 2022 and then again in 2023. Every time the food and service have been fantastic and we have had a great time. I am vegetarian and I have 2 teenagers… we always find something perfect for the whole family and the wine list is just as good as the menu.

Concierge Kal Naim at the Lotte very quickly got us a last minute reservation at this family friendly and delicious Italian restaurant. The service was great and everything was just as Kal said it would be! Thank you Kal and Osteria Delbianco.

Great spot exactly what you’d expect from a nice semi casual Italian spot - fritto misto dell’Adristico (fried calamari, shrimp, and zucchini) and lasagna omaggio alla nonna delbianco (spinach layered with bolognese and bechamel) were fire

We had a terrific dinner at Osteria DelBianco. The food was excellent-I especially recommend the salmon and the mussels appetizer. Service was quite good too. On a nice night the front of the restaurant was open, which was very pleasant.

Excellent experience from start to finish. Ambiance fantastic. There is a bar area to sit. Staff so efficient and friendly. Menu selection excellent and food fabulous.

Very delicious Italian food in Midtown. We arrived without reservation and got another nice table outside. The food was very delicious, especially the tiramisu was excellent. Friendly Service and great wine selection.

Wonderful Italian gem of a restaurant in NYC. Honestly, the welcome we received - as first-time diners in a packed lunchtime slot - was honestly the best I’ve had; amazing table, super-attentive and friendly service. The food was wonderful; very high end traditional fare (and decent portions), right up my street. Excellent selection of fine wines. Very highly recommended and a cut well above the norm.

Chose this restaurant because it was close to my hotel, and because it got good reviews here. I was extremely impressed by both the food and service. My wife and I shared the fritto misto as an appetizer. It was flavorful and perfectly cooked, with a spicy dipping sauce that you just wanted to keep going back for. My wife's lasagna was delicious, with fresh pasta and a perfectly balanced bolognese sauce. I had the strozzapreti salsiccia e funghi, which was wonderful. The pasta was perfectly cooked, and the sauce was so flavorful I had to "fare la scarpetta" with a piece of bread to get it all. My wife had a lovely panna cotta for dessert. I had no room, and just ordered espresso, but they brought the most wonderful handmade biscotti to go with them that I managed to find a little room after all. Throughout it all, our waiters were extremely friendly, helpful and informative. Fantastic experience all around. I plan on going back and eating my way through the menu.

Excellent Italian Restaurant. Highly recommended, for its proposal, quality and attention. Must stop in the midtown of Manhattan!!

Our hotel recommended nearby Osteria Delbianco for an early dinner after a full day of NYC activities. We went without reservations during a very busy Christmas week and were seated immediately even though it definitely got full before we left. We shared the Caprese di Bufala which was fairly typical but delicious. Our entrees were the evening's special with branzino, Linguine alle Vongole, and Spaghetti al Pomodoro which we thoroughly enjoyed---all prepared very well. The staff was courteous and attentive. We highly recommend.

Located in such a busy/touristy part of the city, we weren't sure what to expect but we were pleasantly surprised by our experience! We were able to get a last minute table without a reservation. Our food was delicious, the portions were good, the service was great, the atmosphere was cozy and clean! Highly recommend!

The service was top-notch and the food outstanding. Our server guided us through the menu and absolutely nailed it with his recommendations. The food was fantastic! We had several courses and each item was very good. Throughout the evening we appreciated our glasses were always topped off and the dishes were cleared. The team all worked together in a harmonious and professional manner from start to end. They all made us feel like treasured guests. It was a spectacular evening. I strongly recommend this restaurant.

I had the most beautiful and delicious dining night out in my beloved New York City. Finally after 4.5 months of not dining out, I felt a little bit of what life was like before COVID-19. The food at Osteria Del Bianco , 22 East 49th street is fantastic! And they have created such a beautiful outdoor seating area. Strongly recommend this amazing restaurant to anyone. The food is delicious and the people are so nice. I had the grilled octopus, the lasagna and the tiramisu after. Out of this world!

Midtown restaurant with fabulous homemade pastas, large fresh salads, and nice meat dishes. Everything was very fresh and tasty. Broad menu with something for everyone. Reasonably priced for its location. Nice ambiance indoors. Outdoor seating also available.

Adding this review after returning to the UK and looking to see how others rated the restaurant - we stumbled across this place crossing over main avenues and are really glad we did - we arrived at midday and the restaurant was super clean and staff raring to go - the service was excellent - the food was delicious and the restaurant soon filled up with a noisy but enjoyable atmosphere - it’s great to know that you can find such a good restaurant on the hoof whilst walking downtown - congrats to owners and staff - this is one place we will recommend to friends and look forward to visiting again when we return. Happy New Year!

Great service, satisfactory food. Fennel salad was delicious. Swordfish special was pounded thin and a little dry. Good veggies and mashed potatoes.

We decided on this spot last minute based on the location was close to our hotel and the good reviews. Our family of 7 was blown away. The ambiance is warm and inviting. The food was excellent, but what really made the meal was the incredible service. Armend and co did an amazing job catering to our every need. They were fun and engaging and had good recommendations. We had such a great time we wanted to go back again, but ran out of time. It will be definitely be on our list for the next visit to NYC! .

This is the second time I have been for lunch to this restaurant. The ambiance is nice and it seems pretty busy. I got a table right away at 1:30 PM. I ordered my favourite lasagna and ended with a dessert even though I was so full. They serve fresh slices of bread with a tomato chutney which is delicious at the table in the beginning.

Very mediocre food and very expensive for lunch. No lunch menu. Service was OK with only 3 tables occupied. I am surprised they rank so highly. Value, at least for lunch, is very low. We will not be back.

An absolute find. Delicious food and impeccable service. Very comfortable and cozy. Lovely dining experience. We will certainly visit again whenever we visit New York city!

One the restaurant was wonderful, service excellent, quality wines and exploding taste bud dishes. Every table seemed filled and happy conversations. You will enjoy your hour or 2, we had a great 3 hour reunion.

This is a nice original italian restaurant. We had twice a dinner and had the chance to review à la carte & daily menu. Well pasta is fresh and al dente (a MUST) and very tasty. Seld made pesto, fresh tomatos, fresh seafood. Even in Italy it not easy to find such good restaurants. It is not a cheap place, but it is worth and a guarantee.

I had lunch at this restaurant (brother of the one on 49th) with my sister on the last day of our stay in NYC. We loved it both for the location and for the interior (white tablecloths) very cozy, the food then cooked really well. Andrea the General Restaurant Manager was really very kind and I noticed that he is with all customers, which is not always constant in other places. I recommend it to both locals and tourists visiting New York.

Great authentic Italian Food from Romagna, the outside area is very comfortable and excellent service. I’m vegan and Chef Diego Bigucci made my night awsome , Bruschetta di Pomodori , Fried Veggies Sticks, Artichokes Salad , Spaghetti Arrabbiata and some roasted Carrots. Gluteen Free options are Available , my friends got some fish options , Octopus , Gamberoni with cannellini beans , Risotto seafood ( Riccione Style ) and The Fossa e Pepe . Top . Definitely i’ll be back soon with more friends .

We were late getting into the city and our hotel concierge suggested this place as good option. We had no reservation and were lucky to get a table quickly after we arrived. The cocktails were great, and the food was very good. Service was excellent, except for a slight delay in the entrees arriving at our table. It was fine, though - we were happy in the festive venue watching some US Open tennis. The Tagliatelle al Ragu was a table favorite. The Patroniana was also very good.

Not only delicious food but top notch service. All the staff and the maître D, such attention to detail. The restaurant is beautiful and beautiful location.

Great food. Wonderful service. There were decent number of vegetarian options. Seating space is nice - inside / outside.

Went here based on the Tripadvisor reviews so maybe my expectations were too high? I had the spinach salad with the proscuitto and that was the best part of the meal. The Proscuitto was dried like a jerky and you can almost crumble it up onto the salad. I like it. My wife had the Bolognese - average I had the spinach pasta with pepper and it really lacked any flavor. Pasta was done a little too al-dente for my liking. Service was great and the place is very nice. But for us the food was very average. Although we live in an Italian area so maybe we are just spoiled :)

We were in NYC on a Mother/Daughter trip where we had an action packed itinerary, and we didn't make reservations for restaurants because didn't know where we would be when. We were near Rockefeller Center and started looking up places to eat. We stopped at the place next door but they were full and they actually sent us to here. When we arrived we stated we didn't have reservations, they did some chatting and were able to get us in. The atmosphere was very cozy. Our daughters both really wanted alfredo and it wasn't on menu so we asked and server said of course. They started with some amazing homemade bread with a delicious spread served on the side. We all enjoyed our meals, the prices were very reasonable and the service was great. I'd highly recommend giving them a try.

We enjoyed an amazing meal. Everything was flawless—the food, the service, and the atmosphere. This venue was truly a fantastic choice for a special celebration.

It's Saturday night in New York and you want some Italian food. Nothing fancy, just good food. It also has to be close to your hotel because it is very cold and blustery outside. So I google Hotels near 50th and Madison and up pops this little gem. If you like fresh pasta made from simple recipes handed down from Mama, this is the place for you. It's not very big. It's only 4 weeks old, and everything we ordered was delightful. The service was cordial and the place had a nice vibe to it. We shared Orrichetti with Sausage and Rabi and Veal Limone. Both dishes were beautifully prepared and delicious. For dessert, we ordered the Espresso Creme Brulee. Outstanding. Well, fast forward to Sunday and we are looking to have brunch.Since our first choice has an hour wait, we noticed again that our little gem also served Brunch. Again, we were not disappointed. We ordered French Toast and Tuscan Baked eggs. Devine. Go there before it is discovered

We liked everything about this lovely little restaurant: nice interior design with sensitive colors and a beautiful lighting concept, a great service, always there but not too much, the fine wine but most of all the fresh, attractive and very tasty dishes. Thank you for a nice evening!

We found this restaurant as we were walking down 49th st, and decided to try it. It was great! Everyone was really nice and the food was excellent! Will certainly return!

A friend who works at JPMorgan near this restaurant recommended it to us as one of her favorites in the area and it did not disappoint. Exceptional menu with appealing choices everywhere, so we will have to go back in order to try more of the options on the menu. The white table cloth environment had service that was upscale but very New York Italian style, so the right level of bad-a-bing.

Had a WONDERFUL dinner there our last night in NYC. Definitely recommend it. Service was impeccable...recommended meals and wine pairing. Definitely order dessert! LOVED IT.

My husband and I ate here twice in 5 days! A warm welcome on both occasions from Gus and Tony (joint owners) set the precedent for two exquisite dinners. The bar is a great place to have a cocktail first, Omar looked after us on our first visit and we were enjoying it so that we stayed and ate there. Delicious mussels in a tomato-garlic to start followed by Artichoke, avocado, green leaves salad….for main, cacio-Pepe and lasagna which was scrumptious! 4 nights later we found ourselves back in NY so headed straight for Bianco again. This time we took a table in the restaurant which has a great vibe. Repeated mussels to start (as they were superb)…. Followed by Dry aged Ribeye with sides of spinach and mushroom. Great value wines on the list which any of the waiters can advise. All in all, a great restaurant. If you are looking for a great Italian in Midtown. Look no further!!

Whenever we visit NYC we put this restaurant on our must dine at list. The friendly and knowledgeable staff just adds to the fantastic meals we always have here. The chef’s native Italian roots show in every way in this restaurant.

Visited for the first time. Great location in the heart of it all. Reservation was a must as the place was packed at 6:30 on a Tuesday evening. Seated immediately and service was very good. The homemade pasta is tremendous. The Prosciutto di parma with Burrata was outstanding as a start as was my wife’s Spinch Salad. We share both. My wife had the Gnocchi which were like pillows. One of the best. I had the bolognese which was also excellent with homemade tagliatelle. It is a little loud but not so much you can’t talk normally. Great place and we will return.

It was good to find this among many other places either closed on Sundays or completely shut down. The service was slow to start but it got better as soon as the staff got there. The pasta was fresh, and hand made. the meat sauce was tomato-ee and the right amount of kick!

Visited twice in a four night stay service very good and friendly. Excellent choice off the menu and the specials daughter rated the meatball starter as best she has had! All food excellent from presentation to taste. Will definitely return when next NYC

Excellent experience A restaurant like few on the big block... Osteria Delbianco Midtown enjoys a very pleasant atmosphere, its cuisine led by Chef Diego is exquisite and widely recommended. The elegant seating, its unobtrusive lighting, everything impeccable.. I will definitely return many times to this traditional Italian restaurant

Terrific experience on a Saturday evening. Wonderful intimate midtown Italian restaurant. Terrific service. Lasagna and Veal Picata followed by desert.

After attending the Theatre, my wife and I ate dinner at Osteria Delbianco. The restaurant serves Northern Italian cuisine, has a full bar, outdoor seating and a good wine list. All of their pastas are made in house and the menu includes fish, chicken, veal and steak. We began with a very good mussel appetizer. It was prepared with garlic, calabrian chili, grape tomatoes and white wine. For entrees we both selected the Strozzapreti pasta with mushrooms and sausage in a light cream sauce. The pasta was perfectly al dente and the sauce was creamy and delicious. We finished with a decadent chocolate mousse and a New York cheesecake. The staff at Osteria Delbianco was friendly and professional and the atmosphere cozy and warm. We definitely will return.

We dined at Osteria Delbianco last week for the first time and the food was outstanding. My wife had a veal dish which she described as the most tender and delicious she’s ever had. My lasagna, a more pedantic dish, was simply amazing. The chef raises the entre to a whole other level. A side of sauteed spinach was average. Wines by the glass, in my case a Montepulciano and my wife’s a pino grigio, were excellent, as was the service and ambience. We capped off dinner by sharing a portion of tira misu, so rich, creamy and wholesome it bordered on orgasmic. The noise level was a tad loud, likely attributable to dining room acoustics, but with food, wine and service this good, not to mention reasonable prices by Manhatttan standards, who cares? We’ll be back!

Just had dinner there for the first time with my wife and dear friend. The veal, Caesar salad, seafood, deserts were all outstanding! Probably one of the BEST Italian restaurants in NYC and a great value. Ambiance, Wines and service were outstanding. Looking forward to going back again very soon. I rate it 5+ stars!

Excellent Italian food in NYC. Children friendly. Exvellent wine list. Atmospher food and service all top notch. Diverse menu

Kathy and I celebrated our 42nd anniversary at this lovely restaurant on 49th street. We wouldn’t something fairly close to the Ambasadoor theatre. We are very glad we picked this one Service was excellent and the the food was really good. We started with a Caesar salad which was fairly traditional except seemed lighter which we throughly enjoyed. We also had the calamari and shrimp appetizer, that was the only downfall. We just didn’t care for it at all. The dinner was delightful as I had the special halibut which was prepared perfectly in a little wine with mashed potatoes which were like Kathy’s She had the chicken with prociouto and provolone it was pounded nice and thin and a great crispy flavoring. Will surely go back.

It’s delicious! We enjoyed it very much. Love the sundried tomato that came with the bread. Very nice ingredients gave it a delicacy beyond others we’ve had. The salads were wonderful. I had the arugula and artichoke which had everything I love on it. My husband had the kale because we get so much from our CSA and he wanted ideas. It was perfect. We chose pastas since a delicate pasta is hard to find. I have to say, that’s where we were really impressed. The lasagna was light as air. We both would like to know how he accomplished that, especially with a bolognese and a béchamel sauce. I had the gnocchi because I love truffles. Normally I find gnocchi heavy but his were little potato clouds. Wow!

I found this restaurant online during a recent trip to Manhattan. What a gem! The food was delicious. The atmosphere was very inviting. the staff was friendly and enthusiastic Can't say enough about it!

Everyone has rated this 5 star and they are RIGHT. The food was awesome. Our best meal while in Manhattan. The chef is pumping out amazing dishes. We were lucky enough to be waited on by both a waiter and the owner. While we were hesitant to order an appetizer and dessert, the owner made two recommendations; we took the leap, and we were rewarded. Sooo good.

The reviews of this restaurant here and on Google are misleading. I found the food to be bland and not very appetizing. I had the spaghetti with shrimp and it was not very good. The shrimp were way overcooked. The were rubbery. The restaurant was not adequately staffed for dinner time. I give them a pass for this. The labor market is still not what it needs to be.

Food, ambiance, location. We had a daily special appetizer with cuttlefish. Wow. And mussels, just the right garlic. I had pumpkin ravioli- day after Halloween - excellent. Other feasted on lasagna. We came too close to curtain time, silly us, but they accommodated Wish we allowed more time.

I wasn’t expecting to find a new favorite in Midtown, but Osteria Delbianco delivered something special. I came for dinner one evening and ended up back the very next day for lunch — which already says a lot in a city overflowing with options. Dinner began with the pumpkin ravioli with sage — delicate pasta, rich filling, and that buttery sage sauce that makes you slow down and savor every bite. Then the veal scaloppine, tender and balanced, a reminder of why certain Italian classics never go out of style. I also ordered the tagliatelle al ragù to take home, and I ate it for breakfast the next morning. Don't judge. The following day’s lunch sealed the deal. Beef carpaccio to start, clean and refreshing. Then linguine con vongole — perfectly al dente with that briny, garlicky kick that instantly takes you to the Italian coast. I closed with panna cotta, silky and lightly sweet, the perfect finale. The food here is spot-on, the service warm and genuine, and the whole place carries a touch of magic. Osteria Delbianco isn’t just another Midtown spot — it’s now in my NYC rotation. I’ll be back in two weeks, without question. Perfetto!!

I made a reservation online and noted it was my husbands birthday and they brought out a special dessert and sang and everything. Wonderful food great atmosphere

We came for dinner based on the Trip Advisor reviews and I was surprised that there were really no bad reviews. There was just one 1 star review. I can attest to the reason because this is an outstanding Italian restaurant with perfectly prepared food and excellent service we had the beef cappacio, Veral Scaloppini and Pasta and Bolongase and all were delicious and prepared to perfection. I almost ordered another entree it was so good. It is a high energy place with plenty of locals and you just won't go wrong here. There is something to say for a place that sticks to basics and does it perfectly. We will definitely return in the future.

We enjoyed a nice evening in this Italian place. Excellent pasta to start … simple, but very, very delicious. The fish was great, not extraordinarily good, but very good. Wine selection was OK … but you need to know your taste and know the good years (offering a 2017 Heitz wine from Napa is maybe a little misleading). But a very nice evening to enjoy.

We had a wonderful meal here. Everything was excellent- food, service and atmosphere. This was a perfect place for a special celebration. Some of the best Italian food I have ever had.

Great dinner on 12-11-25. My wife and I had the Tagliatelle bolognese. Homemade pasta cooked just right. Excellent sauce. Nice salad and nice small mussels. Wines were a bit pricey, but. It is NYC. Service was top notch. Definitely worth a stop

We had an amazing dinner here last week - my favourite meal of our trip. The hotel sits on a lovely street and has a small number of tables in a gazebo outdoors. We had a lovely table that was inside but at the open air window. There is a full bar, many wine options & beer. Our starters of prosciutto & burrata and beer carpaccio were lovely, and the pasta main courses were amazing. The pasta was incredibly fresh, cooked to perfection & the dish was delicious. We would al definitely return & will recommend to our friends and family.

The menu was not overwhelming with several different choices. We had the pear and arugula salad that was delicious with a light dressing. Also the the fried calamari, shrimp and veggies came with a tangy sauce. I had their lasagna. The pasta sheets were light and delicious while the ragu added delicious flavor. Would definitely return. Friendly staff. Nicely decorated, quaint place. Also had some outdoor seating. Definitely delicious!

This restaurant came highly recommended by a friend. I went for lunch and ordered a lasagna. I was served some bread with a tomato based oil which was very tasty. The lasagna was a generous portion and it looked like the cheese on top had got overgrilled. However, every bite was delicious. The lasagna slices were tender and the bechamel and beef integrated well with the slices. One of the best lasagnas I have had. The service was very good and the restaurant had a great ambiance.

The food is decent /good but the service was outrageously bad. No order taken or bread offered until after the first bottle of wine was nearly drunk. No cheese proposed with the bolognese. Completely superficial approach towards hospitality. Deeply, deeply disappointed with what used to be my go to Italian in midtown Manhattan. Taking their success too much for granted. Such stories end badly.

Salad and pasta: great! Steak: disappointing. Fries: bland, cold quickly (swap them!). Tiramisu: too sweet........

Absolutely delicious! The food tastes so fresh and homemade. They opened right before COVID-19 shut down all restaurants in the city, so I am really happy they have reopened their doors. I ordered the pumpkin ravioli and it made me feel so warm inside. 13/10 highly recommend! Their indoor seating is beautiful, but my friend and I opted to sit outside. They built a great outdoor space that feels like a permanent part of the establishment. The staff is very friendly as well.

Nothing epitomizes the New York City dining experience to me like eating a delicious meal outside in the fresh air with cars, trucks, and bicycle couriers flying by. And Osteria del Bianco is the epitome of the dining experience I just described. First of all their menu is extensive so everyone in your party can find something they like to eat. Sharing is encouraged and their appetizer plates are generously portioned. We tried their Caprese salad and charcuterie platter with homemade pickles. The Mozz was fresh and creamy, the tomatoes red, ripe and bursting with flavor drizzled with bright green olive oil. The cold cuts included all my favorites: Mortadella, prosciutto, hard salami and Pancetta (I think?) served with pickled onions, red peppers and green olives. Since we had heavy starters we opted for spinach & ricotta ravioli in tomato sauce. Osteria adds fresh Sage to their tomato sauce which gives it a unique kick. The generous tiramisu that came for dessert was big enough for two or just right for a true gourmand like me to polish off all by myself. From the moment we arrived until we paid the bill the entire staff, from Manager to servers were friendly, fast and efficient so hot food came out hot, cold food, cold, water glasses and wine refilled rapidly. And even though we talked well past when the meal was finished we never felt rushed or that we needed to leave. It’s also a family friendly place, and their were a number of tables with toddlers and adults making the place lively. Did I like the place? The best recommendation I can make is that I booked a second meal there for Tue night and I can’t wait.

Normal. Overrated on TripAdvisor. The dishes are Italian-American and lack secondo options. It self-titles food of the Emilia Romagna but lacks some proposals such as fried gnocco or piadina. We were a table of 5 and everything was fine, but it was not excellent. It's too loud.

Very quiet and high quality Italian restaurant in the heart of Manhatten. Service super! Quality of food great! Absolute recommendation

On a rare visit to New York, I took the opportunity to host a dinner with old (aged in our early 80’s) high school friends. I wished that our visit would have no distractions, so after determining that none of my guest had any food allergies or aversions I chose Osteria Delbianco because of its proximity to our hotel and online reviews. After reviewing Osteria Delbianco’s menu, I called the restaurant and offered what I thought would be a fair price for five meals, two bottle of wine and the tip (I didn’t know about NY taxes). I explained I would leave it up to the restaurant to select the wine and the food. No menus or wine lists to worry our elderly minds. We were served a wonderful four course meal which, judging by the empty plates, was enjoyable to everyone in our party. One of our guests, who makes his own pasta, raved about the gnocchi. Personally, I was blown away by the appetizer. I believe you can tell that I highly recommend Osteria Delbianco.

Had a wonderful evening at this restaurant last night. We started with a glass of house prosecco and one of house chianti while we looked at the menu, and the wine list. Both drinks were very good ........ The menu is impressive, concentrating on a smaller, focused, number of dishes within each category (antipasta, salads and soups, pasta, main course) rather than the shotgun splatter that some restaurants favor. The decor and design of the restaurant is very well done, and the lighting is particularly impressive, with overall low level ambient lighting from warm globes mounted on the walls with reflectors, and triple globe groups suspended from the ceiling. Tiny high intensity soft LED lights are at each table, and cast a clear light over the dining area ..... very effective. Incredibly flavored, and exactly the right size serving'=. My wife chose the Pollo Tamanga (a brilliantly colored presentation of chicken and sausage with vegetables and sauce), and I selected the lemon veal. Both were perfectly cooked and presented, and tasted amazing. We accompanied these with a very good Brunello de Montalcino .... Finished the meal with a couple of tiny espressos .......... a perfect evening. Service was impeccable, friendly and engaging. This is a restaurant that should be on your 'goto' list if you are in this part of town. you will not be disappointed ......

Visited for the first time after reading that many tennis players from the US Open went there for dinner. We had reservations and were seated immediately and on time. The ambiance is excellent but the tables are very close together and the noise level is high. The food was outstanding. Our service was very good but a bit inattentive at times.

Accommodating, pleasant, warm, professional restaurant with excellent food at reasonable prices. Many menu items are Bolognese and compare favorably to actually being in Bologna. The lasagna was special as was the tagliatelle ragu. The burrata and prosciutto appetizer was fresh and as good as I have had at any restaurant. Pastas are made in n the restaurant and you can tell. Decor is simple and elegant with a warm atmosphere. This was our first time and we will be back.

Food was excellent. During our trip to NYC, we visited twice. My kids loved the bolognese pasta. The veal scallopine was my favorite meal. I will visit this restaurant every time I am in NYC. Great selection of wines by the glass.

Amazing food and lovely staff, I can’t recommend it enough. A lovely relaxed dining experience with my family. I would definitely visit again.

One of the nicest dinners we've had in a long time (9/18/23)! The staff are great (Bera (SP?) - bartender/ Ahemd (SP??)- maître d')! Had enjoyable drinks/conversation with local patrons and Bera followed by excellent Veal Scallopini and Tiramisu for desert. We liked the place so much we returned for a couple of drinks the next afternoon. Will definitely go back ! Rod W.

Good food, friendly atmosphere, impeccable service! Highly recommended if you are near midtown! American portions Italian cuisine 🔝

Appetizers (plate of cold cuts) brought without bread. I ask for bread and arrive at the end of the appetizer. Spaghetti with clams asked not al dente, brought very hard. I signal him and the waiter tells me that he can make them jump a little more. I kindly reply that they should be redone. Allows and brings them back to me after 4 minutes. I point out that the cooking time is 11 minutes. He tells me they were already cooking for another table. We didn't believe it because we counted the number of shells before and after and it was the same. Tagliatelle and good quality wine. I find the service of this place entrusted to very unpleasant South Americans. If I had been in the Owner I would have scaled recognized a discount for inconvenience. The bill is astronomical. Do not go there is better in price and courtesy.

Very traditional style. Everything was fabulous and great wines. The service and quality of the food is excellent, amazing dessert.

Really great spot in Midtown. Service was flawless, food was extremely good (had the burrata to start and ragu pasta for main course). Was seated very quickly and liked the decor. Excited to return

We dropped in for lunch and had a great meal with delicious wines. Our waiter, Gojko, gave us great advice on the dishes and his colleague on the wines. This restaurant gives you the feel of professionalism when entering and they do not disappoint. De cook who runs the kitchen must be someone who loves what he does and that can be tasted in the dishes. Well done guys!

Pure perfection! They really know what they're doing here. The food, the service, the wine list - it's so perfect. We sat in the bar area, we asked them to put on the ladies college basketball, and we enjoyed a perfect evening there. Everything was delicious!

As the saying goes "a gem" in midtown. After mostly judging from the photos of the food, chose this restaurant. There is a chopped sundried tomato, garlic, olive oil for the bread. Really amazing and different. The Cesar salad was made like it should be...very delicious with great anchovies. Also, the artichoke salad was unique and delicious, too with pistachios. Had homemade pumpkin ravioli with a light cream sauce. Wanted the sea bass but the waiter advised that would be too much. The turamisu was also great, very creamy the way I like it. The first waiter got impatient with my questions, but the second waiter was fine. Reasonably priced except for the wine.....house red was $20.00 per glass. Wasn't that great for the price. Would definitely go back.

When went for dinner whilst staying nearby, the ambiance, service, food and wine were all fantastic. Good value in an expensive city. We would certainly return.

Great pasta but what prices! 2 tagliatelle with meat sauce (really good ! ) a glass of wine ( Nero d'avola pleasant ) 2 glasses of water : TOTAL $93 Ok New York, ok location ok everything but you spin the boxes and a lot. If you feel like eating well at above-average prices take a trip here.

Found by chance through TripAdvisor we tried for the first time this really nice place and really good cuisine and true Italian flavor. Tortellini in broth and granny meatball. Great! Would highly recommend

Fast and excellent service from cheerful staff. Quality of all items chosen was very good. Very busy but this did not adversely affect the service provided.
Excellent
Don't miss this spot! My wife and I went here because it was close to our hotel. The food is authentic, the restaurant is an elegant but warm setting, service was professional and efficient, and the food was awesome! Highly recommended!
