Great food and great service, Luca was excellent! Good intimate atmosphere too, and I saw a bunch of menu items on other people’s tables that looked great too. Would definitely go back.

Delicious dinner! Appetizers and dinner were fabulous. Cute little place decorated for Christmas! Our server Enzo was the best

Had a great time! Fun apps and drinks. Owners and staff so great. Got rice balls, bruschetta, truffle fries and sangria. Would recommend it all

I had an amazing experience at Osteria Nonnino! The warm atmosphere and excellent service made for a fantastic evening. We started with the Melanzane Al Forno, a perfectly baked eggplant dish with rich tomato sauce and melted cheese. For the main course, the chicken parmesan was tender with a crispy crust, smothered in flavorful marinara. The tableside cacio e pepe, prepared in a cheese wheel, was a fun and creamy delight with a bold peppery kick. For dessert, the tableside tiramisu was freshly prepared before our eyes—a sweet and indulgent way to end the meal. I highly recommend Osteria Nonnino for an authentic Italian dining experience with exceptional hospitality!

PATRICK MY MAN. Gnocchi pesto fire. Get the pistachio ASAP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Rice balls too. Play your cards right and get some limoncello

Not very cheap but an excellent Italian Great food: both the pasta and ossobuco as tiramisu Very friendly staff who see real work. Luca was really good!

I loved the atmosphere here! It is located in a lively neighborhood! I ordered carpaccio di manzo, cacio e pepe, branzino alla griglia and tiramisu. Carpaccio di manzo: This was very tasty! Cacio e pepe: If you get indoor seating, they make it in the cheese wheel for you! Branzino alla griglia: Lovely presentation! The fish was very tender :) Tiramisu: They also make this in front of you! So fun!

We were greeted by a kindness of yesteryear... friendliness, availability 'and impeccable service as well as a quality' of raw material really excellent. Vita and her partner were really welcoming, the place reflects the true taste of Italian. We will be back as soon as possible to visit you😘

Patrick was the best waiter! So friendly, kind and attentive. Great meal and we loved the dessert! Great night!!!!!!!!

Amazing food, great atmosphere, great staff - went here with my parents. Luca was SO awesome and attentive - will absolutely come here again.

Enchanting location and welcome characterized by exceptional courtesy and loving attention to the customer: this restaurant is a little jewel, delicious food, excellent desserts and very kind staff! Top marks for the cocktails too! Absolutely recommended, not to be missed if you are passing through New York.

This is my favorite Italian restaurant in NYC - the truffle pasta is the BEST I’ve ever had in my life!! The atmosphere is gorgeous and the staff is like family. I have been here more times than I can count and it’s incredible every time! The tiramisu is also unreal - reminds me of my grandmother's!

Great spot in the heart of west village for a delicious dinner. Must get the table side tiramisu!! They have such amazing homemade pastas, I need to come back again.

Fav tiramisu in NYC! Loved this spot for the pastas, vibes and for a date night or girls night out. Would definitely come back and get the tableside tiramisu for sure! ✨

If you haven’t already been to Osteria Nonnino, you need to go! They have a wide variety of amazing appetizers, salads, pastas, pizzas, and entrees! They have a table side cacio e pepe made in a cheese wheel which was so good and so fun. They also have table side tiramisu and it was phenomenal. What restaurant are you able to get two table side experiences?! It was so unique. The vibes are so amazing and it’s a perfect spot for date night, girls night, or a birthday celebration. The staff was all so friendly and made us feel at home! All of the dishes were tried were amazing and we were impressed from start to finish! everyone needs to check this place out!

very nice and welcoming restaurant, qualified and friendly staff, quality food and very good, as an Italian you can say that it is one of the New York places that makes great Italian food.

Recommended! Very good food and nice atmosphere. We had booked a table in advance. The food came quickly and the drinks were also good! Perfect restaurant for a date.

loved this family owned and operated restaurant in west village, the food was delicious as well as the ambiance. our favorite dishes were the cacio e pepe and chicken parm!

We were seated quickly and all employees were very attentive. The food was great and our server, Luca, was wonderful. Would recommend to anyone looking for a great Italian dish.

Absolutely one of my favorite Italian dinners in NYC!! The vibe of the place is cozy and relax with a touch of elegance. Service was friendly and up for the challenge with all my questions! The risotto balls are A MUST. Definitely will be coming back and telling my friends about this one!

a real food and wine journey of Italian cuisine in New York, Vita and Elton really friendly and special. excellent value for money

Great food in the best area. My favorite was the cacio e pepe. Loved the vibe and very friendly staff. Your next go-to Italian restaurant.

Best Italian restaurant I've been to in NYC. We ordered the charcuterie and cheese board, the spicky vodka chicken parm (one of the best dishes I've EVER had), the cacio e pepe dish and the unbelievable tiramisu (you cannot miss this). The service was top-notch and the place is elegant yet modern. I 100% recommend this.

Fantastic chicken parm!! One of my absolute favorites! Highly recommend going with friends! Also: great drinks (especially the aperol spritz)

We visited Osteria during Valentine’s week and it was the perfect dinner date spot! Vibes are super cozy and intimate. The servers are super nice and all of their recommendations were on point! The Chicken Parmesan is an absolute winner and probably the best chicken parm we’ve had in the city! The tableside Cacio e Pepe is perfection and should not be missed! This is definitely going to be one of our go to spots for hearty Italian food!

Indulged in Italian delights tonight at Osteria Nonnino! From the creamy cacio e pepe to the rich ragu tortelli, every bite was a taste of Italy. And let’s not forget the tiramisu made table side – a sweet finale that left us craving more!

10/10 dinner! Incredible meal and service. The waiters were excellent, both kind and extremely attentive. The pasta dishes were amazing, and the table-side Cacio e Pepe and Tiramisu preparations were a huge plus! I will definitely be back! Instagram: @TheEmpirePlate

Great menu choice, quality food and relaxed atmosphere. Would recommend booking in advance as it seemed very busy. Would definitely recommend.

This restaurant is delicious!! The food is amazing and the service is excellent! The waiters are very attentive and always ensured our water was filled. I got the gnocchi with burrata as my entree and it was soooo good! The drinks are great too! For dessert we tried their tiramisu which is made right at the table for you! Overall a great experience here😋

visited on a monday evening and it was bustling! tried the following: - fritto miso (fried calamari & zucchini with arribiata sauce): fried batter was well seasoned and the calamari was plump & juicy! - cacio e pepe with truffle and burrata: prepared tableside in a percorino cheese wheel! i found the sauce not too cheesy, easy on the palette and not cloying at all, but the pasta was a bit too thick and hard for my liking - filetto al barolo: grilled grass-fed prime fillet mignon with barolo wine with spinach and roasted potatoes. this dish was delicious!! smoky, roasted flavor explosions, excellent dish - tiramisu: made table-side, the marscapone cream was so smooth, and its sweetness was well complimented by the espresso-soaked last fingers and unsweetened cocoa powder on top. the perfect dessert to end the meal. despite the crowd, the service staff were extremely attentive to our every need, and kept refilling our water. this italian restaurant is definitely a hidden gem that must not be missed!

Beautiful little spot with incredible food and warm, attentive service. We were seated quickly, and the wait time between dishes was perfect, not rushed, not slow. The value was great for the quality you get. Appetizers were delicate, flavorful, and well presented. For main I ordered the fettuccine with shrimp, which was outstanding! The shrimps were cooked perfectly, and the dish had a great balance of flavor. Dessert was another highlight: the pistachio tartufo and cheesecake were both amazing and the perfect finish to our meal. The wine list was also impressive, with plenty of great options at different price points. This spot is must-visit in the West Village if you’re looking for authentic Italian food, great service, and a cozy atmosphere.

Everything was AMAZING, the food and service was perfect! Highly recommend this to all our friends and will def be back!

What can I say .. a place that truly reflects Italian cuisine, Congratulations, you can immediately breathe ITALY. Fresh products of excellent quality. We took from appetizers to dessert and it was all very good. Absolutely recommended, both to you Italians who like us are looking for a little flavors of home, and to all of you who want to try the experience of true Italian cuisine. Compliments to the owners.

Aj was our server and he was super nice! All our meals came on time and tasted delicious! We would definitely come again in the future!

Great food, Great experience, Great Service! We had pasta in it was perfect. The tiramisú was amazing with a Great preparation experience.

I had the most wonderful dining experience at Osteria Nonnino in the West Village! From the moment we walked in, the cozy atmosphere and warm ambiance set the tone for a perfect evening. The food was nothing short of exceptional—every dish was beautifully presented and bursting with flavor. The handmade pasta was a standout, and the desserts were the perfect sweet ending to the meal. A special thank you to our server, Lorenzo, who went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and attended to. His knowledge of the menu and thoughtful recommendations truly elevated the experience. Osteria Nonnino is a gem that I’ll absolutely be returning to soon. Highly recommend for anyone looking for an authentic and memorable Italian meal!

Found by chance looking at the reviews and we were not disappointed at all... SUPER pasta, pleasant atmosphere and a tiramisu made at the time really good. Welcome of the owner and her Husband who, even if it was the first time, makes you feel like you are coming home after time. Perhaps the only “flaw” the tables very close but to please everyone there is no alternative...

Had an incredible date night at Osteria Nonnino! Such lovely servers who helped us pick our meal. It was a cozy atmosphere that's wasn't too loud so perfect for a nice dinner chatting. The chicken parm with vodka sauce was a standout, but the pistachio tartufo was a surprise that I can't wait to come back for!

Everything was great!! Thank you so much for everything. The service, atmosphere, vibes were immaculate. Food was soooo delicious!

I had a request from my daughter to find good pasta with spicy sauce in a nice place, and found Osteria Nonnino via a simple search. After one of the most enjoyable experiences, from the kind staff (Albino!) to the fantastic multi-layered cake straight from the heavens, I want to be sure future diners don't have to Google. Go. Go now. Eat well. Smile and leave wanting to come back...we are!

A real Italian restaurant in NYC! Excellent food quality, fast, friendly and welcoming staff. Location located in an easily accessible position. Super recommended! :)

This was our first time. Food was delicious! The service was impeccable! The ambiance was amazing! Enzo was a very attentive waiter!

Impossible to read good reviews . Maybe these folks ate food from a different restaurant. We ordered 3x dishes . The dishes were done 40% gory breading snd one which I’ll show a pic of almost all breading . A definitely pass in this great food city!

Osteria Nonnino is the kind of spot that makes you feel like you’ve stumbled into a cozy Italian escape right in the heart of NYC. From the moment we walked in, the warm ambiance and friendly staff set the tone for an unforgettable meal. The pasta? Absolute perfection. You can taste the love and tradition in every bite — especially the cacio e pepe! So dreamy! Their wine selection is top-notch, the portions are generous, and the service is genuinely attentive without being overbearing. Whether you’re here for a date night, a group dinner, or just treating yourself, Osteria Nonnino delivers that soulful, home-cooked Italian vibe that’s hard to find. Already planning my next visit — this place is a must!

Shaking my head as to how this restaurant can have any good reviews. We came for brunch at 2:00 on an NYC Sunday afternoon and had high hopes based on its Google ratings and what seemed to be a nice ambiance. We ordered Bloody Marys (which were on the brunch menu) only to be told "Sorry, we don't have any tomato juice today." This is nuts considering it's brunch on a Sunday in New York for heaven's sake - they couldn't send someone out to any of dozens of local stores to stock some in time for service? We almost got up and left, thinking we'd just pay for our two Proseccos (which we'd ordered since apparently there was no tomato juice in New York) but decided to keep an open mind. We should have followed our instincts. It didn't get better. A basket of sad bread arrived which was stale and tasteless. It was served with some kind of oil (no hint of quality EVOO) with what seemed to be sun-dried tomato bits in it. The oil concoction was equally flavorless and had no 'zing.' I ordered a pasta dish which was a fettucine dish named "Emma", described as being homemade pasta with shrimp and zucchini. My husband ordered steak and eggs, upon which the waiter said 'Very good' and turned to go before my husband called him back to ask "Wait a minute, don't you want to know how I want my eggs and steak?" This seemed to perplex the waiter. Attached are pics of our food. I would say the zucchini in my pasta dish was more like a GARNISH of thin zucchini sprinkled on top of otherwise flavorless pasta (although I will say the four shrimp were tasty and cooked very nicely). There was no sense through its texture that the pasta was homemade. As for my husband's brunch, to say that his steak and eggs had all the visual plating appeal of a run-of-the-mill diner is unfair to run-of-the-mill diners; and, he reported that the steak was dry and flavorless. Neither of us finished our dishes and we didn't linger for another drink or coffee or dessert. We just paid the bill and got out of there. We live in Manhattan and are spoiled for choice in our city, but aren't always in this neighborhood. I can't imagine that neighborhood locals who know good Italian food would give this place a good rating. Maybe someone would if they didn't know any better. Perhaps this was just an 'off' day, but we definitely felt cheated out of what could have been so much better, and will never go back.

If you’re searching for the ideal spot for a romantic date night, look no further than Osteria Nonnino. It is situated in a charming corner of the city, this Italian gem offers an enchanting atmosphere that sets the perfect mood for an intimate evening. As you enter, you're greeted by soft lighting and beautiful decor that exudes warmth and charm. The owners are amazing and welcoming making you feel part of the family The menu features a delightful selection of Italian dishes and cocktails. I enjoyed the carpaccio arugula salad, which was fresh and delicious , while the meatballs were tender and Juicy. We order tableside Cacio e pepe with truffle and burrata- that will take you to Italy. The short rib tortelli was incredibly flavorful. To finish it with Tiramisu, one of the best I have ever had. Also don’t miss out to order espresso martini.

Fantastic dinner— everything tasted wonderful and fresh. Went for a family dinner and ambiance was wonderful as well. Definitely one of the best experiences we’ve had in the city.

I wanted to like Osteria Nonnino. Why? Well, because I was walking by after visiting Meatpacking and saw the unbelievable amount of patrons both inside and out and noticed it was #17 on TA. It must be good, right? I thought there was no chance of a table being available but on asking, the kind waitress said there was a table available outside on the side of the street. I couldn't believe my luck. Sadly, I wasn't impressed. As I was outside, I missed the opportunity to see them prepare my cacio e pepe pasta on the cheese wheel. When it came, it was luke warm and needed more salt, pepper and cheese. Kinda bland. I've had way better. My pistachio lava cake was cold, hard and pasty, no warm pistachio oozing out. My fault for not speaking up, or their fault for getting it wrong? Service was lovely, the glass of wine was quaffable but the meal cost $85. It was the most expensive meal I had in NY. Overall, a dissaappointment.

Bruno was very helpful, and he helped us plan our trip to Milan!! Pizzas and pasta pleased the kids and were good for us grown ups too!

Great spot get the eggplant and chicken parm great for a group dinner and recommend sharing a bunch of stuff so you can get dessert

Was so pleasantly surprised by this place. Their vodka chicken parm special was 10/10. Another highlight was the pistachio tartufo. I'm not really a tartufo girl but this was phenomenal. Service was great and appreciate that it's not such a difficult rez to get. I'll be back!!

The appetizers, main course and dessert were all delicious. The service was fantastic, all courses were spaced just right. The host and hostess were a pleasure. The restaurant was clean and beautiful. I highly recommend dining at Osteria Nonnino.

It was a great experience. Luca was our host and everything was perfect. Wonderfull meal and atmosphere. We will come back and we recommend everyone to come

Overall great experience. The food was tasty, friendly service, and the ambiance was perfect for any occasion. Would recommend checking this place out!

Great service! Love the owner and especially Lorenzo, the bartender! We also had lemonchello shots! definitely recommend coming here if your in town

Albino, our server, was awesome, and the food was great. The rigatoni and the gnocchi were great. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting.

Amazing dinner! Amazing service and atmosphere! Appetizers, dinner, & dessert were all amazing. We loved the espresso martinis too!

Osteria Nonnino in the West Village is a true gem! From the moment we entered, the warm, family-style ambiance made us feel at home. We savored the special kalad salad and a delightful cheese plate before diving into the rich vodka pasta and the delectable cacio e pepe pizza—both dishes bursting with flavor. The highlight was the tableside tiramisu, crafted right in front of us and utterly delicious. The attentive staff added to the experience, making our visit truly memorable. I can’t wait to return!

Had a great time here!! The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive. We got the eggplant parm to start and the sauce tasted amazing. The cacio e Pepe we got for dinner and the tiramisu we ordered for dessert were both made table side which made for a fun dining experience. Pasta was cooked perfectly!! Overall we really enjoyed the atmosphere, This would be a super cute date spot. Will definitely be coming back!

Happenstance chance encounter with this restaurant after just being told about it by a friend. After a business appointment at a location right next door I had to take the opportunity to visit this place for lunch. So happy for the experience. Vinnie was the best.

Gianni was the BEST! If you come here please ask for him. He made our party of 6 felt well taken care of. Service was fast and great, food was amazing and they accommodated us last minute.

We dined at Osteria Nonnino and had an incredible experience. Not only is the food incredibly delicious, the service is also amazing. We tried the Arancini, Fritto Misto, Nonnino Pizza, Cacio E Pepe, and Fusilli with Ragu and cannot express how much we loved everything. You cannot go wrong here! Loved the Tableside prep of the Cacio e pepe! Highly recommend!

The restaurant is very relaxing and romantic. It would be great for an outing with friends or even a first date. The service was amazing! The staff was very knowledgeable and welcoming. They have a solid selection of cocktails and wine which also includes mocktails. The food was great! I ordered caprese to start & a dish called Cacio e Pepe(a dish that is spun in a cheese wheel). The caprese was fresh, with quality ingredients. The Cacio e Pepe was cheesy, simple, and delicious. With all things considered, while this restaurant has a higher price point, it is a great experience and well worth the value. I look forward to coming back and trying more things on the menu! 4.7/5

Had dinner with a friend last week at Osteria Nonnino! We sat in the dining room, the ambiance was great, the service was awesome but the Orecchiette Con Bufala and the chicken parm special were the stars of the show!

Everything was so great. Service was so nice, food was incredible as well as the atmosphere. Highly recommend the parpadelle, but can’t go wrong with anything on the menu

A great place for the italian classics: chicken parm, cacio e pepe and rigatoni nonnino highlights. Enormous portions, so exoect to take some away. Will be back. Our waiter Luca was excellent.

Great spot highly recommend the chicken vodka parm special add the penne we also loved the eggplant starter skip the Caesar salad and save room for dessert

Best italian restaurant we’ve been to in NYC. The restaurant is family owned and operated and you can tell by the quality of their products and the amazing service (shoutout to Vinny). Everything was exquisite, from the Aperol Spritz, the cheese and charcuterie to their pastas and chicken parm. The chicken parm is one of the best dishes I’ve ever tried, the vodka sauce was simply amazing. A very romantic spot for a date or to come with friends in West Village. Highly recommended, will definitely come back.

Unreal service and food. All family owned and so kind. I would come here any day I love it. I totally recommend the espresso martini and tiramisu. All the pastas are also amazing

The food is delicious and staff members are SO polite. Love it 10/10! Enzo was our server, great guy! Highly recommend this place!

What a great experience! This restaurant is so beautiful, right on a corner in Greenwich Village. The food is absolutely amazing, and Tony and his staff were over the top accommodating and so nice! We had a large group, and tried many things on the menu, and every single thing was delicious. Highly recommend!!!

Osteria Nonnio instantaneously won my heart and became easily an Italian favorite of mine. From the outdoor aesthetic to the way you feel at home when you walk in. The ambiance is top tier and the attentiveness of the staff is superb. The food is absolutely outstanding. Everything is of the upmost quality and the flavor of each item is perfectly crafted. Highly recommend! What I had - Manhattan - Sauvignon Blanc - Caprese Di Bufala •fresh imported buffalo mozzarella from campagna | fresh tomatoes | roasted peppers - Pasta Cacio E Pepe (prepared table side) - Pollo Pecorino • pecorino encrusted free range breast of chicken | artichoke hearts | lemon-white wine sauce | mashed potatoes -Tiramisu (prepared tableside)

A must try spot in New York! The wine, food, service, ambiance was amazing! And the cacio Pepe prepared table side was a must. We will be back!

A delicious family owned Italian spot in the west village! Must order the cacio e pepe prepared tableside and the tiramisu!

The best Italian cuisine you can find in New York! Very nice place in a quiet area, the staff is very kind and the food is excellent quality. For all Italians coming here, I highly recommend it!

Truly Italian restaurant in an elegant and quiet area. Excellent food, fast and friendly staff, welcoming and elegant location! I felt at home. A special thank you to the sweet owners! Highly recommended

Glad that an authentic Italian place offered a brunch menu on a sunny Sunday in NYC. Got the steak and eggs and surprised they didn’t ask me how I want my steak done but it turned out perfect. I’ve been here for dinner in the past. Gave me a taste of Italy. Love their Cacio e Pepe and their table side tiramisu. Must try if you’re in the area.

Amazing Italian hidden gem in the heart of west village! Great vibes and attentive service. The handmade tiramisu was the best we’ve ever had in the city. Also loved their aperol spritz and paper plane cocktails. Can’t wait to come back again!

LOVED the Christmas decor in here. The place was so cozy and nice. The food was delicious. My favorite was the Rigatoni Nonnino. Highly recommend.

My fiancé and I went to Osteria Nonnino on a particularly busy night and it was very loud and crowded in the restaurant. Unfortunately, he is recovering from a lingering concussion, and the noise was quickly getting to him and causing a migraine and brain fog. I figured it couldn’t hurt to ask the staff to move us into the back room, but knew we would probably end up having to leave because every table was filled. When the manager caught wind of my sob story, she immediately said “I want to fix this” and asked a table to switch places with us so my fiancé could be more comfortable. The two strangers happily obliged. The manager looked out for us and the other table looked out for us, because that’s what New Yorkers do. Lots of yummy, fun menu options and a great go-to spot in the heart of the WV with staff you know will actually take great care of you.

Luca was a great and wonderful waiter! Fantastic. Have the tiramisu- so lovely. Shared the ravioli which was so light and flavorful. Highly recommend.

Loved this restaurant! The food was incredible (my favorites were the vodka chicken parm and the cacio e pepe). Love that it's family owned and operated!

This was an AMAZING meal. One of my new favorite Italian spots in New York! The vibes were cozy, service was great, and food was life-changing. We got the meatballs and buffalo mozzarella caprese for apps. The Cacio w Pepe and chicken Parm for mains and then tiramisu for desert. The Cacio e Pepe and tiramisu was prepared tableside! Name something better!! I will absolutely be coming back here. 10/10 recommend checking Osteria Nonnino out!

Really super. Service was excellent, atmosphere was great, location super….food fantastic. Wine was good….a little pricey but heh it was wonderful.

Osteria Nonnino is absolutely incredible! The staff is incredibly attentive, making excellent recommendations and ensuring every detail is flawless. It took us 20 minutes to order because we simply could not decide with so many amazing dishes. For pasta, we went with the ravioli and fusilli, both of which were fantastic. We paired them with the halibut and caesar for a truly memorable meal. With its intimate yet lively ambiance, Osteria Nonnino delivers one of the best dining experiences in NYC—10/10, I can't wait to return!

THE BEST RESTAURANT IN NYC!!! Best food, best service, wonderful atmosphere! Thank you! Homemade food! Delicious! The outside area feels so cozy !

Gluten free options, amazing cheese cake, outstanding fettuccine with bolognese sauce, unbelievable branzino, incredible carpaccio

Was a delicious meal and our waiter Enzo was fantastic and very attentive to us. Provided the substitute for one of the attendees who had a gluten allergy. The special of vodka chicken parm and gluten free penne pesto was delicious.

I had the chicken parm special, it was unbelievable. Highly recommend. We had the cheesecake for dessert which was also delicious. Great spot, would recommend.

Fabulous food, fabulous staff, fabulous location! And, a fabulous Happy Hour! We have had wonderful experiences and food each time we have eaten here. Love everything about this gorgeous gem of a restaurant!

Great restaurant in the west village. Quick service and the food was delicious! Luca took really good care of us and made it a wonderful experience.

Osteria Nonnino is a great spot for any occasion! This family run Italian eatery has a great ambiance, warm and friendly staff, and a menu with many great options for everyone! Some highlights of this visit for me were the vodka chicken parm, paper plane, and the tiramisu! I had a great experience here, and I cannot wait for my next visit here!

5 out of 5. Incredible experiences. This is an incredible place. I absolutely loved this place. The food was incredible. The service was incredible. AL our server was the sweetest most attentive person. He was a great person and so knowledgeable. The dessert was incredible. Highly recommend.

Amazing service and food. I had wonderful experience and would highly recommend for any occasion. Also the table side tiramisu is out of this world

Such a great spot for Italian in west village! Came in on a Friday evening to grab dinner with a friend and was instantly impressed. Don’t pass on the table side Cacio e Pepe or Tiramisu. The staff was so welcoming and attentive! Would be a great spot for a date night or family outing. Will definitely be returning!

Osteria Nonnino in the West Village is a masterclass in how to do hospitality right. Picture this: you walk in, and within seconds, you're hit with the kind of warmth and authenticity that’s rare in NYC. A true, family-owned, friendly, genuine vibe that says, "we know food, and we’re going to treat you great." The pasta? Straight-up perfection. Fresh, rich, and bursting with flavors that take you straight to Italy. Pair it with a well-curated wine list that shows someone here really knows their stuff. It’s not just about the food, though—it’s the whole experience. The service is sharp, attentive, and feels like they actually care. Osteria Nonnino gets it. Restaurants like this are a reminder of why dining out can be so amazing.

One of my favorite restaurants in the city. I come here often and I always leave happy. Everyone that works there is amazing. Luca was a terrific server.

Never had pizza this expensive in my life. $29 excluding tax, 31.50 with. Was she exceptional? No. Correct without more and the dough was difficult to cut. I wondered if it wasn't burnt down but fortunately not. One of my sons took a Margarita, the basic pizza: $23 without the tax! And the $10 bottle of water without the tax. Price irrelevant. As for tipping, we don't even ask you for your opinion: it's 20% direct on the bill, whether you're happy or not. Sure, the waiters did their job, but would I have put in 20%? That's a funny practice. In short if you are armored and have a lot of money to throw away why not. Otherwise go your way and look for more affordable.

Absolutely loved this spot! It's family-owned and feels super cozy inside. The food is delicious and they make the cacio e pepe and tiramisu tableside which makes for a fun experience for the table! Definitely will come back here.

Amazing restaurant. Service was great and staff was so friendly! I loved the cacio e Pepe and the fried calamari was a 10!

We love Lorenzo!!!! he is so great and we had a wonderful time. Will definitely be coming back we had a great time. Woohoooooooooooooooooooo

The best restaurant!!! Amazing staff, the food was delicious, and the vibes were awesome. Cheese wheel cacio e pepe is super hard to come by and they make it so well! Table side!!! Dinner and a show. Chicken parm was a 10/10 along with the tiramisu. Such a wonderful experience and a great place for a birthday dinner or a catch up with a friend! I had the best experience!

A corner of Italy in New York. Delicious food, cheese and pepper paste from 10 and praise! Parmigiana TOP! Great wine. We will definitely be back and recommend it to our friends visiting New York.

Family dinner at this upscale Italian restaurant was good. Started with the fried calamari which was good. The batter was light and not greasy. I ordered the pappardelle bolognese which was wonderful with the pasta al dente and the sauce with the ground sausage very tasty. I tasted the gnocchi pesto and it was flavorless. I tasted the paccheri di Nonnino and it was flavorful but slightly too acidic for me. I also tasted the fettuccine di Emma and it was delicious with four plump shrimps. The decor was subdued elegance. The staff was friendly and attentive.

This restaurant is definitely the prime spot to be at if you want a great ambience and atmosphere, as well as amazing Italian food. I recommend the steak and pasta for sure! The drinks were also great and I would definitely be back.

I absolutely loved my experience at Osteria Nonnino. We ordered the Melanzane Al Forno 10/10, chicken parmesan 8/10 was very heavy for me right after the other red sauce dish, table side cacio e pepe in cheese bowl I would also give it a 8/10 because it could have ben warmer. For dessert, we got the tableside tiramisu and they made it in front of us. It was 10/10 We were so full and could not even finish it. I would highly recommend this restaurant for dinner or a date. They have authentic Italian cuisine and Friendly customer service.

A delicious meal that transported me to Sicily with a perfect, crispy arancini in a savory tomato sauce, this restaurant run by a lovely Italian husband & wife team is a place I highly recommend. It’s one of those places that you can repeat again and again. The cacio e pepe was a perfect 10 and so was the popular parm with penne a la vodka. The tiramisu prepared side table is a must!

Patrick was an amazing waiter ! Very attentive and very personable . The food was delicious and so was the drinks . Highly recommend this restaurant. So cute inside too

I stopped here for dinner with my kids, we were able to get in without a reservation for an outside table on a Friday night. The outside space was perfect on a warm fall night. Our server Enza and everyone else who helped us were so nice and attentive. We had a salad to start - it was fresh, price was fair for the area. I had the salmon and my kids had the cacio e pepe. The salmon was fresh and a healthy option. The cacio e pepe, aside from being delicious, they prepare it table side (if inside) and since we were outside, they let my kids come in and watch it being prepared. The kids loved the experience and the pasta. They asked to go back several times. We will definitely return.

Dining at Osteria Nonnino feels like a warm embrace. The space is inviting and tastefully styled, striking a balance between classic and contemporary. The menu showcases Italian comfort food done right—simple, soulful, and full of flavor. Every plate that came out felt intentional and satisfying, with quality ingredients shining through. The staff was friendly and attentive, making the experience feel seamless from start to finish. A truly reliable spot for a cozy, well-executed meal.

This place is amazing! Went here with a friend and had the best time. Their drinks and food were both incredible. Would recommend the tiramisu and the cacio e pepe as they make it right in front of you. Check this place out if you're in the city!

We stumbled across this restaurant looking for a place to eat dinner in the Meatpacker district. What a lucky find! The service as soon as we walked in was friendly and warm and the excellent and attentive service continued throughout the whole meal. There is a decent sized menu (that is varied but doesn’t overwhelm) and a really good wine list to choose from. We started with a Burrata salad and Fritto Misto to share. The Calamari was excellent and the food very fresh and well presented. I had a Tartufo pizza for main which was just superb. Crunchy, thick, base, great and flavoursome toppings and just the right size. The rest of us had pasta which was also very good. We had tiramisu and cheesecake for dessert. The tiramisu divided the table a little: as it’s cleverly constructed at the table the biscuits are not soaked and soft as usual. My daughter loved this my wife not so much. Throughout the evening the atmosphere built up on the restaurant and it just buzzed. For some this might be a little noisy but we really liked the way it showed a fun and lively side of this great area of Manhattan. An excellent and buzzing Italian restaurant that is worth a good journey across Manhattan to find.

The atmosphere was great, but the food was a big disappointment after seeing the ratings. The pasta dishes and salad were a bit bland and uninteresting, nothing special. However, the woman beside me said the chicken parm was the best she ever had. The pasta needed more spice to off set the blandness of pasta. I’m no foodie, so maybe it’s just me.

What a charming NYC find. Osteria Nonnino does Italian comfort food right in a warm, inviting space that makes you want to linger. We ordered several dishes, the carpaccio was fresh and well balanced, and the osso buco was very tender, rich, and a standout. We didn’t order the bucatini cacio e pepe, but watching it finished tableside was a treat and it looked absolutely delicious. Our server was kind and helpful, portions were generous, and prices felt fair for the quality. Service moved efficiently once we were seated. A great spot for travelers seeking a relaxed, memorable Italian dinner.

Cute location, friendly and efficient staff, excellent quality food '.... recommend cheese and pepper. Plus the very nice owner and, you see, in love with her work. Highly recommended.

It was great service and the food was amazing! My server luca was a great server and gave amazing service, Definitely coming back!

Nice intimate restaurant, feels like the best kind of neighborhood Italian bistro. I stumbled upon this restaurant while trying to find a restaurant near the cigar bar Hudson a bar and Books and noticed Osteria Nonnino on Google Maps right across the street. After checking out their website and some reviews, I decided to book. My husband and I both enjoyed the food and the service. I started with the Polpette (meatballs) with ricotta, which were excellent, followed by Cacio e Pepe with truffles. Wow! The Cacio e Pepe pasta was prepared tableside in a cheese wheel, then topped with a generous portion of freshly shaved black truffle. Very rich and decadent, but completely delicious. Husband enjoyed his starter of Caesar salad followed by Branzino (as well as finishing my Cacio e Pepe). We ended the meal by sharing a tableside tiramisu. I was sceptical of a tiramisu being prepared tableside, but it was delicious. As much as I enjoyed it, I don’t know that I would make a special trip to the area just to go to Osteria Nonnino, especially with the cost of cabs and Uber these days. But if you are staying nearby or coming to the area for other reasons (such as to enjoy an after dinner cigar at Hudson’s), I can highly recommend.

I wanna go back every week! I had the carpaccio arugula salad which was fresh and perfectly seasoned, and the meatballs were tender and bursting with flavor. Their short rib tortelli was melt-in-your-mouth delicious, while the cacio e pepe was creamy and rich with just the right amount of pepper. To top it all off, the tiramisu was the best I've ever had—light, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. Best for family or intimate dinners

Really lovely place and great staff. Very awesome happy hour. Will be coming back. Truffle fries, rice balls, and bruschetta were delicious

I can't say enough about this amazing restaurant. It's romantic and modern but their food is AMAZING. I'm gonna say it...they have the best Cacio e pepe in the city. The pasta was perfectly cooked and the pepper parm sauce was so good and of course done table side. And the baked eggplant was perfection and the table side tiramisu is a game changer. I would absolutely recommend this place!! The service was amazing too (shoutout to Albino), I would definitely recommend being in his section because his table side service is 10/10! Absolutely loved this spot! The staff was so incredibly nice and accommodating. The short rib tortelli was a stand out item. Also loved the cacio e pepe and the arugula salad. Highly recommend if you are looking for a cozy wintery Italian spot in the west village.

Holy cows. This place feels like walking into a family’s kitchen you want to be adopted by. The sausage and polenta appetizer was ridiculous — that alone could have been the night. But then they rolled up with the cacio e pepe, done table-side, and suddenly I was right back in Italy. No buyer’s remorse at all, but the osso buco looked out of this world. That’s just one more reason I need to get back here as fast as I can. This isn’t some shiny “scene” restaurant. It’s soulful, it’s real, and it’s the kind of spot you tell your friends about the next day.

Such a cute Italian restaurant in west village! Will absolutely be coming back. Don’t pass on the table side tiramisu or cacio e Pepe. The ambiance and the staff really made me feel like I was back in Italy! Overall such a great experience

Absolutely incredible dining experience at Osteria Nonnino! The food is beyond delicious—authentic Italian flavors that taste like they came straight from Nonna’s kitchen. The pasta was perfectly cooked, the wine list was impressive, and the service was warm and welcoming. Cozy atmosphere, perfect for a date night or a special dinner with friends. Can’t wait to come back!

This was a great date night spot! Good food and the service was great. Very attentive. The Caccio de Pepe is fun to watch at your table.

Osteria Nonnino was such a fantastic experience - from the decorations to the cocktails to the meal itself! I had the paper plane - and it was perfectly made. For dinner we shared the eggplant appetizer, the chicken parm and the lemon fettuccine special. And for dessert we had the tiramisu - which was genuinely spectacular! Highly recommend this place for both the ambiance and the food.

If you are looking for genuine Italian cuisine visit Osteria Nonnino. The helpful staff made me feel welcome and comfortable. The food is delicious. The pasta is fresh and tender. I had an acorn squash stuffed with cheese risotto. What a revelation! The sweetness of the squash paired perfectly with the savory flavors of the risotto. The staff, always attentive, are professional and clearly enjoy what they're doing. Save room for dessert!

This restaurant is definitely worth any hype you may have seen online. From the flavorful food, to the atmosphere, to the amazing service, it’s a 10/10 experience! I got the cacio e pepe and tiramisu which were both made table side. This just elevated the experience even more! I also got to try their espresso martini & it was SO good! Overall, I would definitely recommend this place for a intimate date night or even a night out with your friends!

Lorenzo was amazing! Fantastic experience! Will definitely be back! We were here for a birthday and he went above and beyond!

I recently just went here for my husband and I’s 3 year anniversary! Not only is it super cozy, the food and service were a 10/10. Highly recommend the cheesecake I’ve never tasted anything SO GOOD!!!!!! We will be back:)

the gluten free options were fantastic. The staff was so accommodating and made it such an easy experience to dine here. I loved the food and the cheesecake was unreal

What an amazing experience! The chicken parm was absolutely incredible, hands down the best I've ever had. The table-side preparation of the Cacio Pepe was not only delicious but also added an extra layer of excitement to the meal. The pizza was like a trip back to Italy, bringing back so many fond memories. And on top of the delicious food, the service was top-notch—quick and with genuinely friendly servers. I've definitely found my new favorite Italian spot in NYC!

Italian restaurant in the heart of the city... excellent food and cocktails... A note of merit for the desserts... superlative service... super recommended

We had an excellent, authentic Italian meal here. So many great options it was hard to decide. The service was fantastic. Enzo, our server, was friendly and hospitable. We’ll definitely come again!

Osteria Nonnino is such a gem! The food truly feels like authentic Italian — fresh ingredients, incredible flavors, and dishes made with so much care. We started with the Arancine (Rice Balls) and they were perfectly crispy on the outside and soft, flavorful, and comforting on the inside. For mains, we had the Filetto al Barolo and the Cacio e Pepe prepared tableside, and both were outstanding. The filet was tender and rich with that beautiful Barolo reduction, and the cacio e pepe was creamy, peppery perfection. Pairing everything with their delicious wine made it even better. The service was amazing from start to finish — super warm, attentive, and genuinely kind. Plus, the restaurant is decorated so cute for Christmas right now, which made the whole experience feel even more special. Highly recommend if you’re looking for great Italian food and a cozy, festive night out!

Having come by chance with friends, we found an excellent welcome, with a truly good hostess, good cocktails and fantastic homemade desserts.

A wonderful Italian dining experience conveniently located in West Village near Meatpacking. Every course was uniquely enjoyable, from the complimentary bread with chili oil to the tiramisu, prepared table-side for a show that is almost as enjoyable as the dessert itself. 5/5 stars for Osteria Nonnino.

Osteria Nonnino delivers an authentic Italian dining experience with warmth, charm, and heart. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, with a rustic elegance that instantly makes you feel at home. Every dish was thoughtfully prepared and beautifully presented—comforting yet elevated, with flavors that clearly reflect tradition and care. The service was attentive without being overbearing, striking the perfect balance between professional and personal. A solid spot for anyone craving genuine Italian hospitality and great food. Standouts: chicken parm, lemon pasta, meatballs and cheesecake!

Well. This is it. Top location for anyone who knows Manhattan. A top restaurant experience with everything a demanding european (even worse,Belgian) traveller knowing NY would expect. Superb pastas. Top family home style italian dishes. Staying as usual at the Standard high line about 4 times a year, this will now be my home coming Osteria!! Cheers!!

Good Value for Award, nice terrace, friendly and efficient service, a good evening on a Sunday night in New York. However, don’t forget to book, it is a popular place.

This was a very pleasant surprise. We picked the place at the last minute, made a reservation, and got there to find a lot of people seated and many waiting. We thought, uh-oh, we’re never going to be served. Wrong. The service was prompt and impeccable, and the food was even better. And I’m picky about Italian food outside of Italy (or my home). We started with an appetizer actually selected from their side dishes: sauteed broccoli rabe, delicious. Then my wife ordered the salmon and I the osso buco with risotto. Hefty portions but, more importantly, truly excellently made. We accompanied the meal with a glass of Montepulciano (my wife) and Falanghina (me). We were too full to order dessert, so they gave us complimentary shots of limoncello. An all-around great experience, highly recommended.

Incredible food. We were in NY for a few days and ate here twice. The service and food were incredible. Our server Gianni was the best. Great experience.

Such a cute cozy Italian restaurant in the West Village! The service was amazing as well as the ambience. To start, we got spritzes and Caprese salad. Some of the fresh mozzarella I’ve had in New York City! We got the pesto gnocchi in the Cacio e Pepe with truffle. They spin the pasta around in the Parmesan wheel, which is such a cool experience. The tiramisu they make in front of you and seriously some of the best tiramisu I’ve ever had.

Stop for dinner on every trip into the city. Unfortunately very disappointed in the service. Waiter took our order, upsells the special and disappeared. We never saw the waiter again after placing our order. He never once checked on us and we didn’t order more drinks or desert. I should’ve stuck with my original choice.

Delicious food & the service was incredible!! loved the table side tiramisu and the incredible chicken parm. highly recommend

Clean and welcoming environment, very friendly and helpful staff. Attentive service and scenic and very good dishes. Freshly prepared cheese and pepper and Tiramisu directly at the table! Recommended for all Italians in New York.

We had a great experience and enjoyed their wonderful food. Our server Luca was very friendly and helpful. But the fantastic food was the best surprise. There were 7 of us and everyone said it was the best meal that they had in a long time.

Beautiful ambiance, super delicious food, and great staff! The eggplant appetizer was incredibly delicious! Would highly recommend.

Relaxing and informal atmosphere. We were greeted by parsonale of Italian origins, who made us feel at home. However, the dishes were reworkings of Italian ones but according to American taste. In the end we simply ate spaghetti with tomato sauce, because the other dishes were not at all prepared Italian... We also ordered a Margherita pizza but, despite not being specified on the menu, it also had a sprinkling of Parmesan on top. It was not possible to have a pizza without mozzarella or other cheese (maybe it was already ready?!) overall the dishes were tasty but certainly not aligned with real Italian cuisine.

Warm and friendly GreenwichVillage atmosphere with beyond excellent Italian cuisine! Our service was impeccable with Al and Patrick! The pasta was perfectly prepared and the Chicken Parmesan was the BEST I’ve ever had!!! It is family owned and run with amazing attention to detail. Noise level is gentile making for easy conversation! Make a reservation right away.. you’ll love it!

Came here for dinner and it was great! Great cozy spot in the Meatpacking District, perfect for walking around after. I really enjoyed the fresh bread they brought out at the beginning which was warm and fluffy and served with a delicious tomato oil! I enjoyed a nice glass of Sauvignon Blanc to go along with my pasta. I got the Cacio e Pepe which came in a Parmesan wheel which was a great presentation. I wish they scraped more of the cheese along with the pasta because it is so delicious. We added burrata on top and it was perfectly creamy. Would dine here again, especially for their happy hour!

Great spot, cute atmosphere, tons of pasta choices! Tableside cacio e pepe and tiramisu. Attentive friendly staff. Will be back again!

Beautiful environment, maximum friendliness. The owner really very nice. We found an Italian setting in the heart of New York
Classic cozy Italian
A classic cozy Italian restaurant. Came in with my best friend for a girls night and left SO happy. The food is delicious, generous portions, and perfectly cooked. The service is attentive and thoughtful. Took the time to explain the menu and specials. Never felt rushed and the vibes were excellent for kicking off the holiday season. Thank you for having us!
