The food was very good. The service was beyond terrible. The staff was friendly but not helpful whatsoever. All of our food including our apps came out at the same time. No one checked on us. We were not able to order a second round of drinks. Hair in my food but waitress said it’s not mine because it’s not my color. Felt completely ignored. Never before have I left such a small tip in my life.

If in search of authentic Argentinian food in NYC, this is the place to be at. A true menu that will transport you to Palermo in Argentina! Their service complemented with a fun atmosphere makes this place a destination for either dining solo at the bar, a date night at one of their cozy tables for two candle lit or a fun group of family or friends.

So disappointed. Waiter took the wrong order. Offered us dessert as comp though he knew we had a show to see. So it was a safe offer, knowing we couldn't take it. Didn't offer comping drinks or anything. $150 parriallida dinner for two (which we didn't even order) was horrible. Meat was terrible and definitely not worth the price. Do not recommend. Find somewhere else. Also, they removed our reservations from Open Table so we could not leave a review. That says it all. You've been warned.

The food, the quality and the cooking was pretty impressive. The flaws lay in the value and the service. I don’t expect to pay $150 dollars for a main course without any consideration for any ambiance or quality of service. The staff had no interest or desire to serve post meal coffees/liqueurs or to at the very least engage with their customers. I don’t mind fledging restaurants offering quality food and learning along the way, but don’t charge me full price to pay for the journey.

Amazing food with superb service! Jorge treated us like family! A hidden gem in the theater district. Do yourself a favor and check it out!

After theatre dinner. Almost only persons there, yet service very slow. All dishes disappointed. Spanish omelet worst I have had by a wide margin. Weather was nice so we ate outside, but this was spoiled by seedy characters hanging around.

We discovered this tiny restaurant by chance in January and decided to come back on our next visit to NYC. First time we sat upstairs for a late meal, so the place was quiet and uncrowded. This time we sat downstairs near the kitchen, very crowded and hectic. But it was fun watching the kitchen staff work together seamlessly to get the food out. We started with corn empanadas, 2 good sized pieces. Mains were skirt steak and whole butterflied branzino, both delicious. The fish comes with a large portion of salad on the plate, and fish has head/tail on. When I asked for a plate for them our waiter suggested that next time I ask the kitchen to remove them ahead of time - I will be back and will order the branzino again! We each had alfajores for dessert, rich shortbread cookies sandwiched with dulce de leche.

Amazing food, although very small, it is a super cute place, and with the best, super friendly staff. I went with one picky American friend to have him try Argentinian food, and he loved the food. I came back the next weekend with a group of Argentinian friends, and they all loved it too. We met the owner that night, because the restaurant was celebrating their one year anniversary and they were having a party in the upstairs level. Great fun and free drinks. :)

Visited on a Wednesday evening, 2 adults 3 teens. Lovely welcome in this independent restaurant in the theatre district < 10 mins walk from Times Square. We ordered 4 steaks and 6 sides and shared - all were amazing! Our favourite was the NY skirt strip at $39, so tasty. Sirloin and rib-eye were really great too. Lovely skinny fries!!

We were looking for a restaurant near our Pension in Times Square which offered good steaks. This was the case and we ate very well. Awards are those of the neighborhood (you can not escape it) , the staff is friendly, but places are limited

Oh no. I’ve been recommending this restaurant to friends. Tonight the experience is totally different. Server is rushed, the fumes from the kitchen isn’t effectively being sucked out but emitting into the dining room. What’s worse is that their grease trap seems to be overdue for a cleaning. I’m surprised the smell can reach the dining room. Bread is brought by a cheerful woman and the varieties explained with enthusiasm. Skirt steak is well cooked but quite salty. The side, roasted beats, is a nice dish. The flavors of the skirt steak overpowers the delicate beet dish somewhat. Initially I was suggested a table upstairs. Seeing it was empty I opted for a table on 1st floor. How much does the environment influence our total experience? If food is excellent but environment unpleasant, is our experience of the food influenced? I won’t be back. Not because tonight was a disappointment but because the restaurant won’t pop up in my mind when considering where to go for dinner. I have to adjust my recommendations to my friends - don’t want to be deemed a poor source of recommendations. Oh, and when presented with the check it included a 20% tip. “It’s because turist don’t tip” was the answer. When told to take off the tip the Server was initially refusing. Eventually it was taken off and I tiped 18%. The staff should not pay for a poorly managed establishment.

I planned to go to a restaurant with my family, but I didn't know where exactly yet. So we decided to look for and enter the first restaurant that caught our eye, and that was it. The meal was very good, and as usual, I don't eat much in the evening, but this evening, I finished my plate and so did the others. The service was very good and the server was very friendly. I recommend!

We were delighted to have come to the restaurant and experienced tasting just about everything! Our server gave us great suggestions and we tried them all. We took a doggie bag with us, but it didn’t make it home! We ate along the way and enjoyed the food all over again! Lovely restaurant, terrific staff!

The place is relatively small with a limited kitchen. The food was good but the service was very disorganized. People that arrived after us were done eating while we were still waiting for our entrees. To make matters worse, we would ask where the food was and they would say it is about to come out. After an hour and a half we complained and all of a sudden the food arrived. All the this time, the owner was next to us and never bothered to talk to us or make any type of positive gesture. You wont be disappointed with the food but you may or may not be lucky enough to be served timely.

We had a delicious meal at this restaurant last weekend and would strongly recommend this spot. Having lived in Hell's Kitchen for a number of years, I am a little bit leery of patronizing restaurant row on 46th street, but we were not disappointed by this charming intimate spot. We began our meal with delicious juicy lamb croquettes. We both don't love lamb but these were prepared perfectly -- melt-in-your-mouth tender. For the main course we both had ribeye steaks which were cooked perfectly and absolutely delicious. For a side, we chose humita, a cheesy corn dish that we would definitely order again. We ended the meal with banana bread pudding and a birthday song sung enthusiastically by a waiter. We also highly recommend the Argentinian wines; all the suggestions from our server complemented our meal beautifully. The only slight stumble in our experience was an after dinner drink that was ordered but never arrived, but overall a great meal.

Small place, but with an OK atmosphere. Compared to other steak houses in the area, reasonably priced and we were happy with the quality of the meat. Friendly service.

We had eaten here in December 2024 and really enjoyed the experience. Because I felt this restaurant was really special, I made a reservation for July 21 as well as arranging a weekend getaway from Boston to NYC with the love of my life, Paula. My plan, take Paula to NYC for a spectacular weekend and ask her to marry me. Well, we drove to NYC, checked into our hotel, and “relaxed” for awhile. We then got dressed and left the hotel to explore Manhattan. Without going into detail, I stopped Paula, got down on one knee in the street and asked her for her hand in marriage, and she said yes. A-lot happened right after that but we eventually made it to the restaurant I am reviewing. When we arrived at the restaurant we were greeted warmly. As it was a Monday night it wasn’t very crowded and we were greeted warmly given the choice of tables. We decided to eat outside. This was a great choice. The air was warm with a slight breeze which made it comfortable. Our waiter Juan and his co-server Johanna were very attentive. We ordered an Octopus dish as an appetizer and an entree with multiple types of meat, including blood sausage that was simply amazing. The food is absolutely great, the best I have found in a long time, but that is not why I am posting this review, rather because of the warmth and hospitality we were given. So, to get it out of the way, if all you care about is good food, come here. To me, the overall experience, beyond exceptional food, is what matters. I told both Juan and Johanna, our servers, that Paula and I just became engaged and they absolutely did everything they could to make this a special evening. They were both very attentive, much more so than is usual, to our desires and satisfaction as far as our meal. They surprised us both with a complimentary lemonade based coctail ( very strong bit delicious) as Paula normally only drinks lemonade at restaurants ( believe It or not but this is completely true). When dinner was over, Juan asked if we wanted to order any dessert but we both declined as we were so full from our huge dinner. Before the check was provided, Juan brought us both a complimentary desert that was a delicious version of flan. Eventually, the check came which I considered a bargain for the truly amazing food we had, but more importantly to me, the absolutely rare level of service we received from Juan and Johanna. In summary, if you’re looking for amazing food, go here. If you want a truly unparalleled experience for a significant life changing event such as ours, you are settling for second best if you dont come here.
New place, nice find
The venue is located on 46th Street near dozens of other venues Compared to the others, I was attracted by his intimacy and his discretion The place is very small but the tables are well arranged and not close together The menu is limited but offers varied and very well cooked dishes The meat was excellent Fast, efficient and professional service Prices in line with the type of restaurant and location I'll definitely be back
