Super

By Meshari Almuzaini |

As usual, tasty and delicious food. fast service and good place and clean. Good offer online and easy to order and better than waiting on queue.

Great stop for quick bite

By ObserverGuy |

Yes it’s a Panda Express. Which means a good meal at a reasonable price. Orange Chicken was very good. Workers were very nice and a young man was taking trays/plates when you were done, wiping the tables, etc.

Chinese food

By Giulia G |

We ordered lunch on the app but the wait was very long, I recommend queuing and choosing directly at the counter. You can choose a main course and two side dishes. Good and tasty. Excellent for diversifying from the usual burgers.

Good price quality

By Busatti |

Good Chinese restaurant chain. Truly generous portions and proportionate prices for what you eat, excellent quality/price ratio. Average for two people around $35.

Tasty and good value

By Sam |

Just round the corner from our hotel, we used it as takeaway a couple of nights, fresh and very tasty. Wish they had them in UK!

Just Outstanding, DELICIOUS

By steve1201 |

Coming from Australia, this is my 1st port of call. Truly great food, great staff, clean tidy and just value for money. Fill out an online feedback form, get a third selection on top of a2 entree plate..... with our dollar stretched in conversion, great place for families to share and couples, great portions.

Panda Express 46th St. 7th Ave

By Meirion9704 |

we used Panda Express 46th St. 7th Ave, great Chinese food, fast food outlet, take away of sit in, good service and good food, new menu, great choice

Simple Chinese food

By Love_Life_Sydney |

I ordered the Plate with grilled teriyaki chicken and Kung Pao chicken. It came up to $10 plus. All dishes were stir fried or deep fried. It was also very heavy on the meat and oily. Vegetarians and vegans will have very limited choices. My 2 entrees were very okay. The Kung Pao chicken was surprisingly quite spicy and the teriyaki chicken was quite moist. It was quite a good & simple meal. Was given a fortune cookie.

Good food

Had a quick dinner here on the way back to our hotel after a broadway show and tasty food and good prices

Huge meal for the hungry

By alma934 |

I ate in this restaurant when I was really hungry and I was happy with the serving and the quality of food and service. I loved the roasted duck that I ordered.

Staff welcoming of customers is great.

By Trek15014674957 |

Food was good, staff is very friendly and welcoming. I was offered a free sample for their juices to try before purchasing. I haven’t tried everything on the menu but I can say the veggie fried rice and orange chicken are really good.

great take away with plenty of options

By taninaus |

Found this to be a great way to get a decent meal, at a reasonable price quickly. food was freshly cooked (you could watch them) and reasonably priced with generous servings. you could either eat it there or take it away.

Worst service I have had while my life

By Marcel |

The attendant was so rude and put a few food. Even though the food was a disgusting, totally different from any other panda In the USA. Run away from this store.

No hot tea

By Daniel S |

Liked the fast food with white rice. I just picked what I wanted. Tasty meal but did not have hot tea.

Better in California

By Dan de Padua |

I'm Asian. I need to eat rice every so often. Panda Express is one my go-to places to fulfill this need when I'm in LA or SF. Naturally, I tried it in NY but I was disappointed. The fried rice was overcooked, the orange chicken was not as tasty and the Beijing beef was too spicy. I have to admit though that I went back there because, well, I needed my rice.

Good cheap eats

By Joey H |

This place is great for cheap eats. We stumbled across it as was staying in a hotel nearby and was looking for something cheap and easy. This place delivered on that need. Food was tasty, no waiting and was very reasonable considering the amount of food you get.

Yummy

By Redgenz |

This place was just across the road from our Hotel. A great selection of food at a reasonable price. The Orange Chicken is yummy but to be honest all the food we got was great.

Quick bite to eat.

By Ashley G |

The food here was cooked fresh and the staff were very helpful. Price range it was reasonable at around $10-12 for a meal. If your looking for a real sit down Chinese meal then this is not the place for you but if you want a take out then it hits the spot.

Superb value for money

By Huw D |

First experience of Panda Express was on Orlando last summer. Food was good but service brusque. Not here though, staff were great. Food, at around $25 fed four of us comfortably. After a full day of walking around NYC the last thing we wanted to do was eat out. Panda Express in our hotel room was a welcome change. Orange chicken, noodles, rice, shrimps and beef in a spicy sauce washed down with some US wine, thoroughly recommend

Clean and really good fast food

By worldofwonder880 |

I normally wouldn't even think of writing a review for a fast food takeout, but this Panda Express was exceptional. First, it is spotless--one of the cleanest fast food places I've ever seen. The staff were really friendly and in an area that probably gets crazy (right across from Penn Station/Madison Square Garden), that says a lot. Finally, the food was delicious!

good food for reasonable price

By Dr. A. |

I had my fried noodles and fried spicy prawns. the staff is very friendly and sampled some food to demonstrate its taste. the place is clean and has enough light for comfort. The food has good quality and taste.

SAVED!!!! Great food for the whole family....

By Trixilita |

After dodgy pizza bars, mcdonalds and ...plain expensive boring burgers - Panda Express saved us. As a family you've got to keep everyone happy and thank god we found Panda Express. Good tasty fresh food - solid portions - includes vegetables and reasonably priced! Definite thumbs up. Only lost a star because i often found the food a bit cooler than i would have liked so often brought it back to the hotel and heated it up in the microwave at our leisure. Great food there. For those trying to cut back on a few calories, ask for half veg / half chow mien or rice. Brilliant.

Amazing fresh food

By traveller28 |

Amazing fresh food for good value & good portion size. I went for the Kung Pao chicken & mushroom chicken plate with mixed veggies & noodles! It tasted unbelievable and come with a fortune cookie too :) Will certainly be popping by again as the service was also very good & quick!

Fresh food on a budget

By SPN21 |

This restaurant offers fresh, warm food in generous portions for a decent price especially in Manhattan. If you are trying to watch your spending, but enjoy some tasty & reasonably healthy choices, this is a decent place to start. We really enjoyed the teriyaki chicken and chose super greens instead of rice, when we were there. I tasted some of the other items, and all were quite tasty. We felt this location was superior to many of the others in this chain of restaurants. Service was friendly and efficient. We would go back.

Great quick bite

By Simon H |

So if your looking for fast food but don’t want a burger and fries then this is a great alternative. Great selection of dishes the orange chicken is amazing and a good selection of sized meals. The price is good and the quality of food exceeds some sit down Chinese meals I have had. This restaurant is a good size, clean and well located.

Not the best....

By AlexanderDelarge |

I have been to several Panda Express' over the years and most tasted pretty good for a fast food place. This one however did not taste very good. I was not even able to finish an order of double chicken with fried rice. Blah tasting. Service was good and the restaurant was clean.

Good, fresh food

By joshie01 |

We ate in Panda express and enjoyed the experience during a recent trip to New York. The restaurant was very clean and the food preparation/cooking area was open plan allowing customers to watch their food being cooked. The menu allows you to build your own meal which consists of a Bowl (1 entrée and 1 side), a plate (2 entrée and 1 side) or a bigger plate (3 entrée and 1 side). We both had plates which were large and very filling. Our meals were Orange Chicken, Beijing Beef and Chow Mein for plate 1 and Black pepper chicken, mushroom chicken and Chow Mein for plate 2. The staff were very friendly and greeted you when entering the restaurant. We enjoyed our meals and the friendly atmosphere within Panda Express and would definitely visit again in the future.

No ice?

By Sidney |

Whereas the fast food was actually tasty, the ice machine was empty and staff kept pawning it off on who was going to refill it. No one seemed to think it was their job. As we sat and drank our ice-less drink, we watched this staff talk about refilling the ice machine but no one did!

Pretty good - Would come back

By JamieNYC |

I was here for lunch and had the "two entree, one side" plate ($8.80), selecting fried rice, mushroom chicken and orange chicken. I added a small soda for $2.00. The rice was fine and the mushroom chicken was quite good. Some of the pieces of orange chicken were too hard. Portions were less generous than I've had at the Elmhurst Panda Express, but okay. Given the high rents at this Mid-Town Manhattan location, that is understandable.

Good lunch

By Lauren |

We popped in here on our last day on our way up to explore Central Park and fancied a Chinese. We both had the plate which is the medium size I guess and it was more than enough! I had half rice and noodles with the honey sesame chicken and the orange chicken. Everything was so good! Especially the honey chicken. They ask if you want to try any of it too so that’s really helpful. It was very reasonably priced. Would definitely visit again.

easy and good

By Sundreamr |

Loved that they have nice box options and fresh food. Not a huge selection, but I took some food to go a few times, loved it!

Fast, Fresh, Tasty & Great Value!

By Nick and Angel S |

This was our first visit to a Panda Express and we weren't disappointed! The food was fast, fresh, tasty and great value (a meal for two for twenty bucks). I can see why Panda Express is America's favourite Chinese restaurant!

Quick, good, affordable

By PSG9478 |

Great place to get a quick, delicious south east Asian meal. We tried the rice with shrimps, as well as a portion of veg noodles, vegetables and spring rolls. Frankly, the non-veg is better than the vegetarian here. But the food is great and the service very quick. its value for money too.

Great experience

By Alessia |

Great alternative to the burger, here you can find rice or noodles with different variations of chicken and vegetables. Excellent orange chicken

Portions small but nice

By Max It Out |

I really enjoy Panda Express, it’s quick, quality doesn’t vary much between branches, I’ve found that portion sizes generally in Manhattan from the big chains are smaller, yet cost more, same here, much smaller than others, service was great and overall happy with the food, shame the size was smaller

Takaway

By DurhamGirly |

Just discovered Panda Express in New York. Perfect location for me. Loved the restaurant layout. Place was immaculate and the staff were really friendly. All the food was being cooked fresh and looked fresh to buy. Service was fast. The food was lovely, one of the best I've had. Will definitely be back!

Good appetite to all

By domyperon |

Very hearty. Be careful it can also be very spicy. Award very decent to be so close to Times Square. I recommend.

Cheap eats

By bonel_pogi |

Since i was just in New York two weeks ago, this time i am on a budget - walking home from Broadway we chance upon this store - for us Filipinos - lunch or dinner should be with rice. We ordered the typical chinese dishes we see - beef broccoli, chicken teriyaki, chicken orange, honey garlic chicken, shanghai noodles and fried rice. Compares to all other chinese takeout, this fastfood restaurant is pretty decent. Price just right and taste heavenly. Gauging on the crowd inside the fastfood restaurant, i think they all agree with me.

Good food great staff

By twistedlemons |

If its authentic Chinese food you want go to China town! But if its Amercanised good food Chines food you wont be dissapointed!

Very tasty and great value for money

By Darren L |

I had seen this place online and, being a huge fan of Chinese food, wanted to try it out. We were not disappointed. The food was lovely and the portion sizes are very good. Prices are incredibly reasonable too. I can really recommend the Beijing Beef. Delicious

Hit and Miss

By Commissar C |

This was the second time we ate at this place and it was entirely different from the first time. The rice was cluggy and the rest of it was excessively oily and we both had an adverse effect to the food. This was completely different to the first visit. Maybe it was a one off experience. Not sure.

Fast food but not bad

By StephenCross |

Panda Express is a decent enough place with a lot of seating. Food options are good although not much visible for vegetarians.

Very good!

By Lisa T |

Really good, lots of choices! The waiters are friendly, explain the contents of the dishes and give us time to choose! Good value for money. In one week in New York, we went 3 times!!!

Say what you want: Panda Express always makes me happy!

By Carla C |

Let's all agree that Panda Express is what it is, i.e. Chinese-American food on a budget. Nothing fancy, nothing new. However, when I crave Chinese food, nothing is as consistently good as Panda Express. I love their menu, food is simple though with several options, clean, fast and really not expensive. I usually take my food to go because I live nearby - and the dining room is nothing to die for. I love it!
