Good Lunch

By Mark C |

On the west side, colleague recommended we stop in for lunch as it is ‘similar’ to The Smith. Yes and no. The decor is similar although Parker and Quinn is a bit darker inside; more natural light at The Smith. Service at P&Q was fine, no issues. Ok wine list by the glass. Wife had the fTomato Soup; smoky with good paprika flavor. The Grilled cheese could have used more cheese. Pan grilled so flavorful but not greasy. I had the Caesar Salad with grilled Chicken and Boquerones. A little skimpy on the Boquerones and too many ‘bread crumbs’. Dressing was good.

Entrance from the Refinery Hotel brought us in....

By terrycarlson2018 |

The bartender we had was top-notch and was able to keep up with a huge crowd of thirsty patrons. We had only one meal in the restaurant - breakfast. It was okay...but convenience won out being next to the hotel.

A great choice

By Jay D |

New York City is full of great restaurants and each neighborhood seems to have one or two that will grab your attention. While visiting the city recently, I was walking near Bryant Park and this bistro caught my eye and I decided to try it. It turned out to be a great choice. Being part of the Refinery Hotel (in the old garment district), you can access it through the hotel main lobby. Or, you can use another entrance on 39th Street, which is fairly non-descript and almost makes you pause. However, upon entering you immediately get immersed in the very warm space, and the ambiance is well suited for a casual and cozy meet, or a business sojourn . The menu is classic American, with a wide and appetizing selection. Accompanied by some focaccia bread, I started with an outstanding Beet root Carpaccio salad with goat cheese, orange and arugula. The main course was a Branzino filet that absolutely melted in your mouth; the accompanying roasted vine tomatoes made the dish just perfect. The dessert was a delicious Churro cake with Cinnamon and vanilla ice cream and a dash of salted caramel. It was a very satisfying meal. To top it off, my server Cory was just fantastic; very courteous and embodied great customer service in every sense of the word. I am glad I gave this place a shot, and would not hesitate coming back on a future trip to the area. The food and the ambiance, especially with the old World charm of the adjacent hotel, makes it a great value; well worth a visit.

Excellent food & experience not far from Times Square!

By Erin W |

Great experience for 1st time visitors to NYC! Quaint, dark & romantic ambience. Great service & great food! We’ll definitely come back on our next trip to NYC!

Busy place

By Per H |

Nice restaurant with a nice setup. We were there for lunch on a fairly busy Tuesday. Waiters were attentive and food arrived in timely manner. We shared a cheese board and a BLT. Prices are a little in the high end but when you get good food and good service then it’s fine.

Lovely Brunch twice!

By Kathy B |

Stayed on 35th St between 5th & 6th. Googled - breakfast near me. Parker & Quinn came up. we are always looking for something a little different. I looked at the menu and said I think this is a good one! And - it was!! We ate there twice for breakfast/brunch. Their omelets are fluffy like bites of clouds. We also tried the açaí bowl - it is ice cream for breakfast - different and delicious especially on a hot day. Also tried the smash peas, asparagus Benedict. A burst of delicious spring in your mouth.

Great Food, Great Ambience

By Antony M |

I found Parker and Quinns on trip advisor, whilst in NYC. I saw there was empty time slots for the evening during the afternoon, so I took a risk and didn't pre book, as we were going to the empire state building and was unsure how long we would be. Anyhow, we visited after, and p&qs fitted us in and accommodated where we preferred to sit. We had a selection of meals, including steaks, burgers, and rigatoni. The food was cooked to perfection, very tasty and the ambience of the venue, made our last night in the city. Can't believe this place was not fully booked, if I'm ever back in NYC, I will be back there for sure.

Had a birthday dinner

By dickief06 |

Good quality food and excellent service. Menu options are slightly limited so may not suit everyone's taste.

Great Location

By Poohbeck |

We went to Parker and Quinn for dinner since they take reservations (I wanted a guarantee we’d get a seat), they were located halfway between our hotel and our Broadway Show, and they had decent reviews. It was perfect! From being greeted by the hostess to our waiter to the food, it was a lovely experience. The decor is unique and added to our overall NYC experience. My Mom and I got the spinach and pear salad with chicken, which was amazing. It had roasted sweet potatoes and pomegranates - it was different and was perfect considering we had had a big lunch but needed to eat before our show. My sister got the French Dip, and she loved it - she said it was the best she’s ever had. I wish they had more gluten-free/dairy-free options. They did not have any small plates/appetizers that could accommodate our table, so we had to skip. There were no dessert options, but that’s typical. I will be back the next time I’m in NYC - hopefully, they’ll have some new entrees that I can have.

Worth booking

By Lisa G |

We booked for dinner and a cocktail for my cousins birthday. The venue is lovely. We were seated at a spacious table with hooks for our bags and coats ( nice touch). Our server Dorian was pleasantly chatty and attentive (although I was a bit gutted he got oasis tickets and most of us didn’t! 😬) To start we had a variety of calamari and burrata salad. I had steak and frites for main which was perfectly cooked to my liking. We had cocktails and dessert (delicious cookie and ice-cream) on a heated terrace with fabulous views of the city. A memorable evening!

Fantastic breakfast at this unassuming pub near Bryant Park

By Beth Moore |

I have enjoyed breakfast here twice. Most recently on a weekday with a friend. Their breakfast sandwich is spot on. Bacon, egg, jack cheese and some sort of aioli. Delish!!

Soup & Sandwich We Wish We Didn’t Have

By Jeff Jacobs |

We were in the area visiting the Bryant Park Christmas Market and checked for some casual comfort food for lunch. P&Q was close, located in the Refinery Hotel. Reasonably full restaurant with lots of business lunches going on, as expected. The crowd, close seating, low ceilings and lots of hard surfaces made for a loud setting- not sure how much conversation was actually heard during those lunches. We both ordered the PQ grilled cheese and tomato-bacon soup ($20). The grilled cheese was overly large, mostly because the toast was the size of Texas toast. Cheese was grilled on the inside, but also on the outside, making for a rather crusty sandwich. The soup was VERY smoky, bacon likely helped a bit with some liquid smoke. Rarely do I comment on intestinal distress while dining on the road, as it could be other factors contributing to the issue. Unfortunately in this case, it’s worth mentioning that both of us had to endure a rather rough late afternoon, both commencing at the same interval following the soup and sandwich. We won’t be back, that’s for sure.

Cozy and Trendy

By Mavi B |

Nice place to enjoy various internationally inspired dishes. Good food and pleasant atmosphere to share as a couple or with friends. Absolutely recommended.

Plenty of character in the restaurant but indifferent staff.

By Dintyl |

Nice ambiance but the staff were hardly enthusiastic. Meal was overly salty. Nice clean washrooms. We are here in NY to return to our Alma Mater, but as its campus is overrun with protesters and police any hope we might have had of a visit remains just that, a hope. New York isn’t much changed from 1970. Lots of new buildings, especially on the west side. We are on the 34th floor of a residential complex. We’ll see what tomorrow brings.

Lovely place for breakfast and dinner…

By Monsoon G |

As we were staying in the Refinery Hotel, we decided to pop in on our first night for a meal due to a late check-in. I must say that we were fully impressed with the service and food as staff were very attentive. We ordered two burgers which came with fries, and two cocktails, all of which were lovely. The place was bustling for a Thursday night, but we didn’t have to wait long for a table and the atmosphere was fairly vibrant. On our final day we went for breakfast and ordered the French toast, two cappuccinos and an omelet, all of which were brilliant and accompanied by a chilled out playlist of lo-if style tracks, soft blues and jazz. Will definitely come back again next time we return to New York !

Top notch food and reasonable prices

By F1Rumors |

I have been to Parker & Quinn a handful of times, but every time it has been memorable for really good food, at a price I believe is fair value in Midtown. The wait staff are professional and service is efficient for this standard of food. Remember to make a reservation!

Classic NYC dining in vintage setting

By JimboMalibu_CA |

We had a small birthday celebration dinner at this classic NYC fine dining restaurant. We had a cozy booth near the open kitchen. The service was outstanding. Our server, Sam, was attentive but not hovering. The floor manager, Sonny, visited with us and was friendly and informative. They even comp’d us a couple of delicious cheesecakes. My wife’s salon with gnocchi and my steak frites were both excellent. Good cocktails and fairly priced wine.

Saturday brunch

By NYTraveller_7 |

Very pleasant environment...not crowded for 11 AM brunch although somewhat noisy... Nice food selection and very attentive service. Bathrooms, however, clearly need to be cleaned...overflowing waste cans, and towels on floor, even in AM, show that no cleaning had been done prior to opening. Definitely need for improvement. While this does not take away from the ambience of the restaurant, it does detract from the overall experience.

Terrific Brunch

By Judith S |

After seeing the menu, we cancelled another reservation and were so glad we did. The food and service are great - the coffee along was worth going for. The menu selection had something for everyone at good prices for NYC. Love the room too - we will be back for food and drinks. Even the "American breakfast" - eggs, bacon, potatoes and toast - was delicious. The breakfast pizza could feed 2 and was simply delicious. Wish I were hungrier! Everything that came out of the kitchen looked delicious. Attention to detail duly noted.

Good choice in Midtown but wasn’t blown away

By Discover517276 |

This restaurant is in good Midtown location and can be accessed from both W38th and W39th. Classic decor and I paid extra to reserve a booth (think it was around $2 per person). Nice menu and cool cocktails that tie in with garment district location. Staff were really friendly and welcoming, with no rush to order. Food was really tasty. Only real criticism is that we had to use same cutlery for starters and mains! Surely you could give us another set?!

Excellent

By Vacation52343105731 |

The food was very good. Lots of variety to choose from. Jay was our server and was awesome! The Mac and cheese was great as were the salad and meatballs. Highly recommend!

Excellent Breakfast

By James C |

Enjoyed a great breakfast at this restaurant to top off a stay in the city. Recommended by our concierge at Marriott pulse. Good menu and service.

Attractive roomy restaurant with superb breakfast

By dwmapes |

Very attractive large restaurant near Bryant Park. We had Sunday breakfast. I chose the French toast attractively served with a pitcher of real maple syrup fruit and whipped cream. Wonderful! Full bodied coffee and attentive friendly service. Well worth a return trip.

Thanksgiving

By mattnalex |

We had our first ever Thanksgiving lunch here following the parade. We had booked in advance and the price was far more realistic than many other places. A set 3 course meal was 49 dollers pp. Food was really delicious and service was friendly and prompt. Turkey dinner was really good and the pumpkin pie tart fabulous. Wpuld happily return.

Beautiful retro decor and good food

By Dbug62 |

Stayed at Refinery and google searched for best brunch near Bryant Park. Search came up with the hotel attached to Refinery. Did not disappoint. Interesting selections and good service.

Breakfast

By Erin F |

Breakfast was outstanding. We absolutely loved the ambiance and the food. Service was excellent and the prices were great

Need to book.

By Rosemarymarbella |

Stayed at The Refinery and used Parker and Quin for breakfast. Reasonable portions but hot food is generally served lukewarm and served on cold plates. Cold fried eggs? On our last day, Sunday, restaurant appeared less than 75% full but put on a wait list, and told to expect a text, heard nothing. Apparently not part of the hotel but service still reflects on the hotel. Wait staff were good.

Loved how friendly this place is

By Quinonostante |

Super friendly people working hard in this fabulous eatery! Burgers are very special. I had the best mushroom soup ever. Great ambience and reasonable prices too. Winner!

Great Drinks and ambience

Stayed at the Refinery Hotel and visited Parker & Quinn. We loved the food and drinks (The Humus and Tomato/Bacon soup are WONDERFUL)

Lovely meal with the family

By Chelsea Yardley |

Chad is a superstar Food was delish and drinks were great too Such a lovely last night in the big apple Shout out to chad our waiter for the evening he was a delight, made our night! The best NY cheesecake ever! Great busy atmosphere Sat in a booth, such a special touch for a party of 3

Great NYC dinner between GCS and MSG.

By Barbara S |

Stopped for dinner between Grand central and Madison Square Garden. The service was great. We sat at a funky table facing the pizza oven, they definately used all space available without sharing a conversation with the person next to you. We had the grilled octopus, tuna tartar and the lamb burger. All were great, sides were delicious too! Drinks were great and prices were good, you are in NYC. Max was charming and sent us cheesecake, which was delicious!

Classic NYC Eatery

By sgilbertie |

Like stepping into NYC history! Ultra clean, retro space reminiscent of an old-school private club. Had breakfast on a recommendation and will definitely be returning here. A classic worth trying. Perfect spot for a classic breakfast with friends or business associates. A treasure!

Great dining experience and customer service

By Laura |

We dined at Parker & Quinn during a recent trip to New York for our anniversary. We felt very welcomed by the staff and they were very attentive throughout the evening. The menu had lots of options and was reasonably priced for the location, the food was delicious too. The atmosphere was great even though it was a Tuesday night. The manager also came over to our table to wish us a happy anniversary which was very thoughtful. We also went to Refinery rooftop for cocktails after being personally escorted and were given a table. I would definitely recommend Parker & Quinn, the best night of our trip.

Nice spot with Rooftop bar

By Jim C |

Not super expensive and mainly upscale place for sandwich or burger. We actually went for brunch and had a great meal. I have also been to the rooftop bar which I think is part of the adjacent hotel but one can get there from the restaurant in back. Prices again are reasonable and the selection and service was very good. We will come back here as it offers a great vibe at an affordable price for this area - and the rooftop is fun and was not jammed full. A nice find.

Just superb

By PK19 |

Love this place. So welcoming, great food, the atmosphere is superb. Max and Chad were stand outs. I’ve had dinner and breakfast there, both were superb. Just off from Bryant park and well worth a visit!

Lovely manager

By John P |

Always a good place to eat. Staff are fine, the jolly, brown eyed manageress is lovely and on the ball. Wish I'd asked her name to give her a shout out.

Very Good!

By Quinto25 |

Came here for a late lunch after arriving in NYC for a weekend visit. The service was excellent and the food very good. I had the Margarita flatbread and my daughter had the hanger steak and Brussel sprouts. All very good and reasonably priced. I would recommend this restaurant.

Warm, welcoming, and delicious!

By Kim C |

What a fantastic find from a Google search looking for Best Brunch Spots near Bryant Park NYC! The bloody Mary had the perfect amount of spice, the Irish coffee was spot on. I got the diner breakfast and my friend got the French toast. Crispy thick bacon, delicious crispy Yukon potatoes, fresh berries and coconut on the French toast. Everything was delicious! We ended our meal with Irish coffee old fashions....who knew that was a thing but we'd order them again! Sunny and Glenn were so attentive and friendly, the atmosphere...decorated for Christmas...was warm and welcoming. And they make their own pasta!! We loved it and would both recommend it and be back again when we visit the city!!

Cosy restaurant to escape busy New York

By Joshua K |

Really good food, nice and cosy vibe, topped only by the astonishingly friendly waiter. If you‘re looking for a cool and relaxed place to escape the hectic life of New York, this is your spot!

Modern Space Ready for the After Work Crowd

By ROBERT I |

Searching for an upscale place between Grand Central and PENN Station ( & MSG) this place popped up. In a hotel they get an all day clientele. After work they get a serious drinking crowd. We had dinner in a comfortable back booth. Decent service, a reasonable menu and beverages. We shared two quality desserts (key lime tart & carrot cake) that were cleverly done. Recommended.

Good Drink Spot

By OwlAdvisor100 |

A good spot for a drink around the Bryant Park area, or a meal. Good staff and not too crowded area here.

Excellent restaurant & family friendly

By LucyLucy321 |

Our family had a wonderful meal here while visiting NYC. I had the Grill Branzino which was AMAZING! All the food was great as well as the Shirley Temples and cocktails! This restaurant is family friendly.

Andrew is amazing!!

By Chieu T |

Someone recommended this place but the dining room was closed since it was almost 11. Ended up at the bar which turned out to be amazing. Andrew was double amazing. Bar got packed and he had to cover the entire front area but I never felt that I couldn’t get a drink or order food (even though the kitchen was “closed”). He even tweaked my Fleur de Lis since I don’t like sweet drinks. Delish! In a city like this those things get overlooked but not with him!

Old world charm

By Reslimpan |

Parker & Quinn has an old world charm to it. The service is very good and extremely good from a NY perspective. The menu covers everything from apps, salads, flatbreads, burgers to hearty mains. On our Sunday evening visit, it was quite quiet.

Walk About in NY

By lulagirl2016 |

I was in New York the month of November for my stepdaughter‘s wedding me and my significant other or out and about exploring New York let me tell you it’s an amazing place to visit if you’ve never been we had walked around for about 7 miles and I was a little thirsty so I asked him to just stop somewhere for a drink. We were coming from from Macy’s and just around the corner was the quaint little bar which we decided to try out. Everyone there was very welcoming we walked in the bar was not very busy at that time Which was kind of nice. I had a taste for a cosmopolitan so that is what I ordered and my significant other order to beer we were there for about an hour and a half and then rush hour hits it must be a very popular place for it was filled with all of the people who had just gotten off work we truly enjoyed the atmosphere we didn’t get a chance to try any of their appetizers however we will add this to our list to go back and give it a shot again and order appetizers and maybe have dinner

Wonderful Brunch spot in NYC

By Deb C |

Wonderful and cozy spot with pub like atmosphere. We were with a group of 8 celebrating two birthdays. Manager was extra special and brought out a piece of cheesecake with a candle to celebrate. So unexpected and kind. We really appreciated the thoughtfulness. Nice people! Food here is wonderful and so is the staff. All was great! Highly recommend this restaurant.

Adequate

By msa23_2000 |

This place is fine. It’s location in The Refinery Hotel is great. The food is good - not spectacular or unique but it is good. We had a late breakfast there and as we sat the hostess told us the kitchen was closing soon so we quickly put in our orders, but then the manager walked up to her and berated her (right in front of us) for seating us so late to when the kitchen was closing for breakfast as it made it harder for him to open for lunch. I just thought it was tacky to have that conversation right in front of the customers he was complaining were just seated.

Fantastic.

By tomhall |

The two of us had drinks and a snack at the bar. The service was great, the food excellent and the atmosphere was amazing. Well worth a visit

Well looked after - Thank you Shane and Tiffany

By Julie M |

We recently visited Parker and Quinn whilst celebrating my 50th Birthday in New York. This establishment was amazing. Firstly the decor was probably one of my favourites in all of NYC. The food and drinks were lovely, but most importantly the service was impeccable. I felt absolutely indulged with a greeting message set up for us on arrival, complimentary champagne and then a surprise birthday cake at that end of the night. Tiffany our waitress and Shane the manager were outstanding and are a credit to this wonderful establishment. Could not recommend this place higher. Just a shame we won't be able to visit regularly having travelled from Australia. Thanks again :)

Great place for lunch

By ddelaney633 |

This is a great restaurant for lunch. I had a kale salad with grilled chicken that was delicious. My husband had a hanger steak that he says is the best steak he’s eaten. It looked mouth watering. He ordered a side of fries that were yummy too - the steak doesn’t come with any sides. I had a glass of Pinot Grigio that was cold and enjoyable. The atmosphere and service were both good. I’d recommend this place and go back!

Birthday Dinner for four

By Lourdes S |

A birthday dinner celebration for our son. Picked it because it was close to our hotel. Got a table without a reservation and had a very nice meal, tasty dishes: pork shops, steak frites, chicken breast and salmon, good mojitos and a free birthday dessert. Prices were not too high, as it’s usual for most restaurants in Manhattan and it turned out to be a nice evening.

Greta restaurant with fantastic comfort food.

By Babyalmie |

We turned up and our table wasn’t ready so elected to wait at the bar. We were really tired and cold having been on a walk around NYC in the very cold snap. But when we got to sit down an order, it was absolutely worth it. The food we ordered - mezze, Mac and cheese and French dip burger were delicious. It was the sort of perfect comfort food that rounds off a long, cold day. Food service was quick and the drinks were excellent. There is a reason this restaurant is busy but it is definitely worth a visit.

Ambiance, Tasty food and Great service

By Emelyn P |

This was our first visit to this restaurant. My husband's steak was more rare than he liked. Shane, the manager, came to our table to ask how we were and my husband told him about his steak. Immediately Shane asked if he wanted a new steak and salad. He asked for his steak to be cooked a little more and new salad. That was served 5 minutes later. Our hanger steaks were well seasoned and our salads were very fresh. At different times, both Shane and Tony (our waiter) came over to inquired about our steaks. Before we asked for the bill, Shane surprised us by placing their signature dessert (salted caramel cheesecake with a dollop of vanilla ice cream) on our table. That was delicious. Service with a smile was what Tony gave us. We enjoyed our meal and will return again.

Wonderful atmosphere and good food

By Gary M |

Visited for lunch. The vibe was friendly; the service was excellent; the food was good. Highly recommend.

Fancy dinner vibes

By Olivia J |

The service, food, and atmosphere were great! We arrived late for our reservation due to the show we attended running late, but they let us keep our table. I thought the restaurant was wonderfully decorated and felt very fancy. There were also plenty of single-stall bathrooms in the attached hotel's lobby, which were also clean and fancily decorated. From our table, we could see someone cutting the handmade pasta, which looked delicious and was a testament to the freshness of the food. 4/5 because I wish there was a bit more variety in the menu, especially for vegans and vegetarians.

Unexpected brunch spot, hotel adjacent

By localfolkhero |

Stopped by for brunch and this place was recommended by the hotel concierge. The brunch menu seemed pretty good so we had a few items - the French Toast, Waffle, and a smoothie. (The waffle was a check down from pancakes, which are not available on a brunch day - only breakfast) The waffle was solid - malty, crispy and tender and just sweet enough and right sized. The smoothie was good - yogurt based and what you’d probably expect for a smoothie. Nothing remarkable though. The standout was the French toast - which was reminiscent of a good bread pudding. It was topped with the caramelized apples, as advertised, but also some cashews (I believe that’s what they were). Very tasty.

A pretty brunch spot!

By MillsMama |

We had a really nice brunch at Parker & Quinn! Mimosa's were nice and staff was friendly, although service (water refill, ordering) could have been a little quicker. Food was excellent and came out quickly. Very beautiful restaurant.

Lovely New York evening

By Cindy L |

I booked us in for their special dinner menu that included a drink and dessert at the refinery rooftop for my husbands birthday. We happened to be in New York City so I wanted to do something special and after some research found this place. I’m happy we came. The restaurant is in the Refinery Hotel and it was walking distance from where we were staying. Restaurant itself has an old school New York City charm to it. The special menu I booked was a 3 course set menu shown on their website but I was pleasantly surprised when we got there and they basically said we could choose almost anything from their normal menu. I can’t remember what my husband had (I think I had scallops). Both of our meals were fantastic. Service was also very good. There was a shift change or something but our new waiter took care of us no problem. Finally when we were ready for dessert they escorted us to the lobby where there is a special line to go up to their rooftop bar and get to bypass this line. Unfortunately it was a rainy evening but the bar has a closed glass roof section and you can still see the city lights including the Empire State buiding lit up. Had it not been raining we would have been outside with an even better view but what can you do. Desert and drinks were yummy and there was a brief break in the rain so we were able to at least go out on the deck and take some pictures. I can absolutely see us coming back here next time we are in town. If you are hesitating - no need to. Great food, great experience and I thought pretty reasonable for NYC.

Good food, cute atmosphere, service is questionable

By Mandsmary |

Atmosphere was amazing! We sat at a super cute booth. We also can see the kitchen which is always a plus for me. We went here for breakfast. We had the short rib omelette, waffles and French toast. Portion size was ok. Food was good. The omelette was summer fluffy and not dry which was great! The waffles had nothing great going for it. It was served with bacon butter but the difference between that and regular butter was marginal. The French toast was good with Chantilly cream and fresh berries. Service was not great. We sat for a while without being greeted. After our order it took a long time to get coffee and then eventually food. No one came to check on us after we got our food at all and a bus person took our plates when we were done. We waited a long time before we got our check. Overall not a bad place to eat. This is the first restaurant of our NYC trip. Hoping to find some amazing food to come.

Bad seats

By MG |

The restaurant has really bad seating for two guests. There are very nice seats, but they are not ready for two people to share them.

Wonderful Service & Great Food

By DeniseM |

I had a Greek salad & wine. The Marriott sent me over to the restaurant. I ate alone until my hubby joined me & felt comfortable being there alone. Chic atmosphere- super attentive waiter & bartender.

Good beer, decent food, nice spot

By Eddie_Nero |

Decent place in midtown to stop by for a drink or a meal. It’s connected to the Refinery Hotel where we stayed which was handy. Food was decent and lots of drink options. It was fairly busy so something to keep in mind when covid conscious.

Great Brunch!

By Thomas M |

Parker & Quinn is attached to the Refinery Hotel, a great boutique hotel near Bryant Park and easy walk to broadway. Searching for a great brunch we didn't have to leave the building! Food was great, service was on point and the drinks were as well. Had the Brisket Hash and was full of flavor and a generous portion, highly recommend! Also, don't miss the Rooftop at the Refinery... another gem!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

By Tiago Santana Dos Reis |

Excellent space very well decorated and welcoming, the staff friendly, all sanitized! Fantastic food, one of the best hamburgers I've ever eaten in NYC!

Great place. Wonderful ambiance.

By Pekelo98 |

Nice Burrata app. Perfectly cooked burger. I loved the old school ambiance of the restaurant. The wait staff was great and attentive.

Overall, a very good experience!

By Mark G |

We were looking for a place near the Town Hall Theater, and Parker & Quinn looked very promising, as we had never been. Well, we are glad we did go for this concert evening. It started with the Hostess, who was very friendly and helpful in some suggestions, as I waited for my other half to arrive...the waiting area with bar in the immediate front has a nice vibe, as does the entire place. The decor and style of the place is vintage, and creates a nice atmosphere. It could be loud for some, but we were okay with the noise level. Our server, Anthony, was very nice, friendly, attentive, and offered helpful feedback to our questions. The food was served quickly, which is nice in lieu of a concert/show in the immediate time frame. The food itself was very good - nice portions, tasty, and presented well. I had the Frico Grilled Cheese accompanied with the arugula salad - it was perfectly grilled, the cheese was ample, but not too much, and the salad gave some relief to the richness of the cheese; she had the French Dip, which she really enjoyed, and remarked it might be one of the best she has eaten. We added a side of Eggplant French Fries with the curry aioli - again, it was fried well, and not greasy, tasty, too. Overall, we had a very good experience, and would strongly recommend this place.

Very New York—-delicious food and great service

By LBHouston11 |

Had a delicious hamburger -without a bun- and salad. Cozy New York atmosphere and really great service. Definitely recommend.

Will is an amazing server!

By Jenika S |

Came with a large group of high schoolers for a school trip. They were so accommodating and helped us chaperones fit comfortably as well! I did make the reservation a few days in advance so I was very grateful they were able to take us on shorter notice. Will was such an incredible server always so witty and go with the flow. He was a top notch expert and made us all feel comfortable throughout our visit. The management came around a few times also to check on us and were extremely warm and great hosts. We were given family style options because of the large party and it was more than enough food (24 people) with 4 apps, 3 entrees and 2 desserts and the food was absolutely delicious! We felt so welcomed from the moment we came in til the moment we left and it made our last night in NYC after a long 4 day trip such a great end to our adventure. We will absolutely be going back whether its for the same school trip or with friends when visiting the area!

Good food, fun vibe

By Aggiedoctraveler |

When you walk into this joint you feel like you took a time machine. Very cool authentic feel. Our waitress was great. Food was very good. Would recommend the mozzarella appetizer, quite tasty.

Love this place!

By DPS-73 |

Really enjoyed this place! Great Location. Great service. Great menu. Tasty food, with great bar. Price OK for New York

Loved This Place!

By Deb |

Great ambiance, music, food, and drinks. Charcuterie plate was generous. French dip was superb. One if my party got the chicken BLT, which was just okay. Brussels sprouts delish. If they have the blood orange margarita, GET IT. Best margarita I’ve ever had. Chocolate chip skillet cookie had salted caramel ice cream and also delish. Service (I think our waiter’s name was Chad), was prompt and extremely courteous. We will be back!

Great food place in midtown

Great place, good vibes, amazing food. Highly recommend. Perfect for a business or a family drink or lunch /dinner. Had the chopped salad with steak, delicious!! .

Delicious Breakfast

By justlis67 |

The "secret recipe" pancakes were a big hit at our table. Service was incredible - our waiter answered all of our questions, made some great suggestions, and we thoroughly enjoyed our meal. Will definitely return.

Excellent food and service

By ziggy_camp |

P & Q has an eclectic vibe, amazing service and fantastic food. We went for Sunday brunch and found it crowded but not packed. The interior is vaguely reminiscent of a Victorian apothecary. We were seated and then greeted by an upbeat waitress who made us feel right at home. Over the next ten minutes two other waiters dropped by to attend to our needs insuring we didn’t have to wait too long for anything. We ordered avocado toast and maple sausage links, both of which were delicious. The toast was also presented attractively with a side of arugula salad. We shared a skillet of cinnamon rolls that was outstanding, both fluffy and flaky in just the right proportion. One in our party ordered a breakfast flatbread that they liked very much. Overall, recommended

Great dinner by Bryant park

By Mike J |

We landed on here for dinner while in the city and so glad we did. Steak frites was very good, my girlfriend really loved her lamb burger. Dessert was NY cheesecake with pecans and apple cider and ice cream. Our server, he was fantastic!

Typical dinner in New York

Fantastic atmosphere, did not disappoint. Well done meat for the asking price in this city. Friendly staff. Good experience.

UNWelcoming Host/So So Food

By Pam W |

I stopped in after a brief early morning walk. The male host was at the desk, with a young woman. I was asked if I had a reservation (the place was EMPTY), I said no, did I need one? I was told yes, as the hotel was full. (What?) I offered to sit at the bar (empty), but was told to wait, he had to "clear a table." These were the ONLY WORDS exchanged, and I was very polite. I decided to stay only because I was so hungry and it is one of the only places around the hotel that serves a full breakfast. I was seated abruptly at a high top. The wait person was sweet. Ordered food, decaf (they were out). The host seated a mom/daughter at the high top next to me, and after a bit asked them how everything thing was, while ignoring me. The food was just okay. I ordered eggs over medium - they were burnt on the edges and raw in the middle. The bacon was cold and burnt. I asked for no salad, and got one. the potato fingers were crisp on the inside and empty/burned out on the inside. Not edible. As a professional business woman, I have never been treated so rudely for absolutely no reason. When I was leaving and tried to ask him what I had done, he fluttered his hands at me (indicating I should just leave). As a member of the IGH Hotels, I will never eat there again.

Great location! Great food and service!

By SunshineWonderland |

Our hotel suggested we go here for lunch before a show. It was literally four doorways away. And it was everything they said. We were greeted by Oscar - fantastic, and engaging - made suggestions that were helpful in placing our order. We had French dip, lamb burger, and a chopped salad with salmon. Wow - everything was delicious. We loved it so much we went back after the show, and had charcuterie and wine. What a fun place!!!! We will be back!!

Relaxing Speakeasy

By Ellie K |

We had a lovely time sitting at the bar with a cocktail; it felt like we were in a traditional Speakeasy. The cocktails were very well made and there was clearly a lot of knowledge behind the mixology that went into creating the recipes. The staff were really friendly and poured us a glass of water with ice as soon as we sat down. It was also great to watch the women’s softball on the TV.

Fabulous

By wem |

The atmosphere, staff and food were all exceptional! We found this gem while visiting NYC for a long weekend and are glad we did. Server was beyond attentive and very respectful. Nice atmosphere and music selections. We will be back! Cocktails were creative and we'll balanced. Thank you!

Good food and service

By L G |

We enjoyed supper here on our first night in New York. Service was good and the food tasty. The only negative was that the bar area was being cleaned with bleach and lots of mopping etc, but not a big deal.

Great Bunch, excellent service.

By Enterprise_J |

Had brunch here on a busy Sunday morning. They were able to squeeze us in despite not having reservations. Our server, Tiffany, was very polite, sweet and very accommodating. What a warm welcome to have in NYC! I had the crab eggs benedict which were perfectly cooked and my partner had an assortment of eggs, bacon and waffle. We both thoroughly enjoyed everything and would recommend this place for brunch. I would love to go back and try dinner here.

Great vibe, lovely food

By Flicker81 |

We’d just landed in NYC and had booked a thanksgiving dinner. The restaurant had an amazing vibe and was lovely to see people enjoying themselves. The food was really lovely and the service was brilliant. Such lovely waiting staff, really friendly and knowledgable. Will definitely be back

Engagement celebration!!!

By biron243 |

Wonderful service, great food!!! We booked on Open Table and there was a glitch but I had my confirmation and they quickly found a table for us.

Try it, you’ll like it

By N&JJ |

Nice layout, very organized with service a priority. We ordered a Market Salad with salmon and Hanger Steak. Both were attractively presented, cooked just right and tasted so good! They were busy; however our server Chadd, was attentive, knowledgeable about the menu and pleasant. We would like to go back before we head home in a few days.

Birthday weekend

By Kci87 |

This is located at the Refinery. It is just a few steps from the Archer. We had brunch here Sunday. It was so good. All 6 of us enjoyed our food and drinks. The wait staff was very attentive and fast. We had to wait on our friends to join us and he was very patient. We will go back for sure

A Most Excellent Pub Experience

By John K |

What a delightful pub atmosphere and experience. My wife and I had an excellent dinner here. I can definitely recommend the grilled pork chop, and my wife enjoyed a classic combination of the tomato bisque and an incredible grilled cheese (multiple cheeses, beautifully blended) sandwich. My wife is a cider fan, and she loved the 1911 cider (a local New York product). The entire dining experience was enhanced by the excellent service that we received from Christian, and the warm hospitality of Sonny, the manager. We will definitely visit again when we are in New York.

Super nice breakfast in NY

By Jane P |

We met a friend there for brunch for a first time visit and loved it! We had the hash, an omelet and both were very good. We did not make a reservation and it was busy so we did have to wait about 40 minutes but it gave us time to talk. The service was really good and the food was super. I would go there again.

We Love New York

By Sandi F |

Parker and Quinn was just perfect! The food and service is excellent. I brought my mom here for her 80th Birthday and they treated her like a queen. We stayed at the refinery and went to Parker and Quinn 6 times for dinner, brunch, breakfast and drinks. I am bringing my husband back ASAP. Thank you to all of the employees at Parker and Quinn!

Nice meal in midtown

By Andrew H |

Visited in December while in New York for a week, had previously seen it a few days before when at the refinery so choose to visit here for an evening meal, great service and food would recommend a visit. Booked online through the website on that day and our table was ready on time. Plenty of choices on the menu, all of us had different things and all enjoyed our food.

Malted Waffles

By Biblioscarlet |

After a long and busy morning, our group stopped here for a bit of brunch. I got the malted waffle with the berries and cream. This was without a doubt, one of the best waffles I've ever had. It was light and fluffy. They added the perfect portion of berries and cream. It was the perfect brunch, and it came with real maple syrup!!!

Sunday brunch

By Glenn L |

Delicious brunch ! Great smoked salmon flatbread and short rib burgers! Bloody Mary for the table was a hit Friendly service

A wonderful breakfast

By LA1289 |

Parker and Quinn offers a satisfying breakfast, in a lively and period setting. The avocado toast is perfect- ample crunchy bread smothered with a generous helping of mashed avocado topped with recasted tomatoes and peppitas. It is accompanied by a green salad, flavor fully dressed. Oatmeal is customized, yogurt has fresh berries and granola, the croissant sandwich is filled with melted cheese, eggs, bacon, also served with a salad. Service can range from rapid and efficient to exceedingly slow, but at least is friendly, and most important, the breakfast food is terrific.

Octopus!!!!

By Mara777777 |

Got there about 10:30 on a Friday eve. Wait staff was friendly. The octopus appetizer is worth a 5 star. But the fact that it was so empty, about 6 people at the bar, did not see any occupied tables, brings down this review a bit. On the other hand, if you are looking for a quiet and not so happening place, go!!! Maybe it’s busier at other times.

Nice food but a little expensive

By adven860 |

Overall the food is excellent here and so is the table service. They weren't the quickest at seating us but once we were, the table service was excellent. The food came promptly and was cooked to a very high standard with excellent presentation. This only downside to this place was the price of everything, but you see that a lot in this area of New York City.

Great brunch place!

By Meghan A |

Was looking for a brunch place not too far from Grand Central and the theater district and Parker and Quinn fit the bill. The menu has a great selection and we ordered the salmon flatbread, omelets, and cocktails. All were excellent and the service was just right - attentive but not intrusive.

Amazing Restaurant

By CPJanuary |

Very good food. The ambience is great and the service was great. Located so close to Bryan Park, 6th and 5th avenue. The drinks were fantastics

Great find!

By cammy23 |

Great experience, the hustle and noise of NYC, busy, but not uncomfortable, service was excellent and food was amazing, freshly cooked right there in the open kitchen… its a little pricey but worth every dollar. You can eat well for a lower cost, just be selective on the menu, portions are plentiful.

Family Visit

By Amanda |

Second visit to this wonderful establishment. This time we took our grown up children. Food was fabulous and the gentleman looking after us couldn’t have done more to make us feel welcome. We hope to return.

Delightful lunch

By Simon M |

Tucked away a street below Bryant Square, between 5th and 6th Avenues and next door to one of the only curry houses we spotted in NYC (we dd not get a chance to try it) you might imagine it's not up to much but step inside Parker and Quinn and you'll be delighted. It's beautifully decorated and very comfortable - ideal for brunch, lunch or a couple of drinks. Service and food were excellent and there is a good choice of beers. An ideal stop-off in mid-town when you are visiting the Top of the Rock, Empire State or Times Square.

Excellent Casual Dining.

By R Z |

We had lunch here during a busy Monday afternoon. so it was hopping with the business crowd and loud. Regardless, our waiter was personable, appetizers and meals came out quickly. Neat vibe to this restaurant as well.

Great drinks and delicious food!

By Lana G. |

I loved this bar/restaurant’s food! The lobster Mac and cheese is a must ! The drinks were solid and the service was standard. I would come back most definitely for the food!

Great meal

By BaconLondon |

We ate here one evening after reading the reviews and it was great. The place has an old style charm to it and looks really good. The food was really nice and they had a great drink selection. The service was also really good and I would definitely recommend it for a good evening out eating and drinking.

A real treat!

By tonianna41 |

Not far from Penn Station, this place was a wow! It has a luxurious feel to it without being too much. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The food offered was all just a little different from the norm, without being to out there. My favorite was the Smoked Squash Hummus served with a flatbread. Seriously we could have licked the plate. By N.Y. C. standards not overly pricey. Can't wait to go back for brunch:)

Great neighborhood place!

By mortyatport |

This was right around the corner from our hotel. It’s hard to spot because the entrance is beneath some scaffolding. But the interior is neat, the service was great. And the diner’s breakfast was delicious. Highly recommend

Great spot for Sunday breakfast

By Tim P |

10am seems a little early to call it “brunch,” but the omelette was good, the Bloody Mary was better, and the ambience was great. I’ll definitely be back to work my way through the menu.

Lovely spot to eat or grab a drink!

By Bill T |

We enjoyed a lovely brunch on the last day of our stay. The food was incredible and the service was lovely.

Disappointing service level

By Pres R |

8 of us had dinner there on a Saturday evening in January based on the quality of the reviews. The food was fine but we were really disappointed with the service. The restaurant didn’t seem that busy - there were empty tables the whole night - but they seemed indifferent to servicing us. We were seated promptly at the time of our reservation but it took almost 30 minutes before someone offered us drinks. We had to ask for a wine list from which we ordered 2 bottles of wine. Our shared appetizer platter was delivered to the table 10 minutes before the wine showed up. Every time we needed something, it seemed to take us 10 or more minutes to get someone’s attention. A Very disappointing level of service for a dinner that cost more than $100 per head

Nice surprise

By Nic-thetrip |

Cozy place, friendly staff, 4 of us get 2 roast chickens (excellent and super tasty) and 2 grilled salmon (super seasoning). Wide choice of beers on tap or bottle. Spend $160, quite in line with the city

A Must Stop for Lunch or Dinner

By Frank O |

Great atmosphere and terrific bar/dinner menus. Talented bar staff make for an enjoyable dinner or lunch. Experienced both and had a wonderful time. Hard working staff in a very busy restaurant makes for a fun night out. The team never missed a beat which my wife and I greatly appreciated. Note: The melted cheese sandwich on the lunch menu is the best I have ever had.

Absolute Gem

By T Bone |

Found this little gem on trip advisor. Staff were friendly, Corey was our waiter, nice guy. The food was cooked to perfection and we loved the atmosphere and look of the restaurant inside. It was our families favourite meal of our trip to NYC and we had some good meals at other venues too. I would certainly return here if back in the big apple.

Professional staff, great food and drinks

By jannycd |

We loved the waitstaff (shout out to Cody) for their professionalism. The drinks were amazing and we shared small bite plates, all of which were delish. We were there on a Sunday night and it was not crowded, though we had booked on a website which asked us to select a table and time (and then pay $12 - you do not need to do that at all, but could if you want a specific table)

Yummy

By Gwen S |

Parker and Quinn has an amazing roasted beet and blood orange salad that I ordered twice. They have a wide menu and the service staff are amazing.

Great trendy restaurant

By CDubb21 |

Parker & Quinn is a gem inside the Refinery Hotel. It has an old school vibe that I love. Service was excellent and we ate her multiple times during our stay. The Ramen-spiced shishitos are incredible! I also enjoyed the baby spinach salad! The manager came to talk to us multiple times and he was so nice. Well done!! We cant wait to come back!

Excessive Noise Ruins Good Food and Excellent Service

By EasyTraveler2000 |

This restaurant offers a great brunch menu and outstanding service. However, the excessive noise makes for a terrible dining experience. Based upon previous reviews, management is aware and chooses to ignore it.

Good salads for lunch!

By Bobbie W |

We came here for lunch. Ordered two salads; the Italian chopped salad and spinach salad with pomegranates, sweet potatoes, etc with the hanger steak. The meat was prepared perfectly at medium rare. I enjoyed the chopped salad, but it could have used more Italian meat. The chef forgot to put in the sweet potatoes in one of the salads but was yummy anyway. Because it was my birthday, our server brought me a piece of delicious cheese cake and 2 glasses of prosecco. Lovely lunch experience.

Wonderful lunch

By Paul H |

Great service. Great staff. Had the half chicken under a brick. Really tasty. Did a none dairy version for us too. Definitely recommended.

Great lunch

By Bevyorks |

We found this place as we were wandering around New York, like you do! What a great find, lunch was lovely, service was prompt and friendly. The atmosphere and decor are spot on. I would highly recommend this place for lunch or evening meal.

One and Done

By Kerbear2011 |

Had pre-booked this in advance and paid for the table/we were sat at the wrong table. The bartender waited on us and the service was so poor, we were there way too long. We got there first and several other tables were waited on/served way before us. I wouldn't go again.

Great food in garment district

By JM5BUCKS |

We were in New York for a long weekend and were staying a couple of blocks over on 37th and picked this restaurant because of the good reviews and because it was within walking distance. The first time we went was on Saturday for their Brunch. My wife had the Eggs Benedict. She loves Eggs Benedict, but is very fussy about how they are made and served and though these were fantastic. I had the Diner Breakfast which was also very good. On our last day we were heading back to the hotel after sightseeing and did not feel like fast food so came to Parker & Quinn for lunch. So glad we did. My wife had the Quinoa Bowl which she said was amazing. I had the Hamburger which one one of the best hamburgers I have had in a while.

Sunday brunch

By Turtle5954 |

Sunday brunch - really good French toast - moist, sense and full of flavour. Good maple syrup, plenty of fruit. Egg, bacon, potato and toast also very good.

Overpriced and nothing special

By Tonya F |

I had breakfast / brunch at Parker and Quinn, and was disappointed from the beginning. Although the menu looked appealing, our server was unable to answer any questions - even simple ones - about the food. Service was slow, and when the food finally did arrive, it was cold. We had other things we wanted to get to that day, and had already waited a while for it to arrive, so we just ate it anyway. While I went to the restroom, my friend asked for a coffee refill for me, and was informed that there were no refills on coffee. Seriously? $7.00 for a cup of coffee in a restaurant, and no refills? I see some positive reviews for this place from folks who went for dinner, so perhaps our experience isn't representative. All I can say is, I wouldn't go there again.

Very good breakfast - recommendable!

By AnnMayTravelling |

I went here for breakfast out of convenience the first day, as it is connected to the Refinery Hotel. The following three days I came here, because the first breakfast was really good and the service as well. First for the service: the staff is very friendly and something to highlight is that they remembered how I liked my coffee and I didn’t even have to order anymore. Considering that many guests come here on a day this is something special in my opinion. Concerning the food: all breakfast dishes I tried were very good and all were quite big portions. If you’re here during the week and are hungry, the pancakes are a delicious option. Very fluffy and a lot of food! My favourite savoury option is the veggie & goats cheese omelette. Also the Açai bowl is delicious! All in all: not only a convenient option for breakfast when staying at the Refinery, but also a very good option if you like good breakfast, attentive service for a still reasonable price.

great food and atmosphere!

By Jamie D |

Loved the atmosphere of this restaurant and loved even more that is was located in our hotel. Food was great as were the cocktails. Food was a bit pricey, but kind of expect that in NYC. Would definitely eat there again.

Bar service

By mwpyle |

Great trip. No reservations. Seated at bar. Quick service! Well presented. We chose a variety of different dishes. Lamb burger was fantastic!

Delicious dinner for 6, apres theater!

By William B |

Looking for a fun restaurant after seeing a Broadway show my wife found Parker & Quinn on line and it was the perfect stop for our family of six adults! I'm a table nut and the staff worked to find us a perfect booth that was cozy and comfortable. We ordered drinks and service continued to be polite, thorough and professional! We ordered a variety of apps and main courses and we all loved our food! Apps included: mussels, seared tuna, meatballs, spinach & artichoke dip. Mains: Hanger steak, salmon, burger, salads. Again, I have to stress that our service was very attentive and when one of us dropped our phone staff did the annoying retrieval (it full *under* something). This was a memorable stop for our fam and we will be back. Note, too, that the restaurant is far enough from the theater district that you can avoid pre-theater rush, post-theater crowd, but still have a short walk.

Good restaurant in midtown, 39th & Sixth Avenue, fine location

By Ralph Wilhelm |

Parker & Quinn is an above average restaurant that has a fine location and good food. We went for breakfast on Saturday morning of Thanksgiving weekend, had reservations but did not need them. The place was lightly filled, maybe ten tables, and plenty of staff. The feel was more that they concentrated more on lunch, dinner, and social time in the afternoon and evening. Staff was good but not too attentive: offered our first coffee refill as we were paying our bill. Breakfast was good but not special. You might want to consider for an early breakfast (opens at 7 am) but there are other options.

Lovely seats, service and atmosphere. Food nice.

By tillsworth2014 |

Lovely place (if a little full of 'look at me' types). Great comfy booth seating. Waiting staff were friendly and attentive. Cocktails were good (albeit expensive). Food was nice but nothing extraordinary particularly for the price ($18 for a small pizza style flatbread). Had a brussel sprout side which was so full of fish oil it was inedible but if you managed to eat them I'm sure it'd keep your joints supple for a year. No hurry to return as there are so many other great places to eat in NYC.

Nice place to spend an evening

By lomaro |

We started out with a couple of delicious cocktails and followed with some wine and several smaller dishes: Burrata Calamari 2 x Butchers Meetballs Street Corn and a shared cookie Skillet for dessert. The servers are friendly and attentive and easy going. We finished up with an other cocktail in the bar before we left. Food is tasty, cocktails are great and I would love to come back and enjoy the atmousfaire on a busy evening.

Lovely place for breakfast

By justfitzy |

Had breakfast three times recently in this lovely restaurant . Great to see it still there eleven years after our last visit . Freshly cooked food and a good selection for breakfast . Helpful efficient staff . Adjoins a lovely hotel - the Parker . A popular spot for locals eating breakfast . Waffles a must try as well as full cooked. Didn’t try the evening menu .

Everything fantastic!

By Sognatrice12 |

Hospitality, food, location, everything really fantastic. Delicious mac and cheese and sublime meat. Absolutely worth more than a visit.

Exceptional!

By Victor Q |

Superb cuisine, ambiance, and service. Excellent vegetarian options. Cheesecake was exceptional. Would highly recommend.

Excellent as always

By spursfankent |

Been here many times and once again it didn't disappoint. It deserves to be busier than it was as setting is nice, food excellent and our server was very good. It is pricier than we usually go for but is for us our treat when we visit.

Dinner in the City Before Show !!

By Richard L |

My family and I were going to a show off Broadway and decided on Parker & Quinn for dinner first. It was relatively early so more of an after work cocktail base than dinner at this time. Due to this we were able to be seated rather quickly. First time any of us have been to this establishment. We loved the layout and vibe in restaurant as we ate in the bar area where there was alot of people. Waiter was great and gave recommendations based on your preference. Martini's were good but a bit small but what do you expect in the city !!! Food was good no real complaints but not blown away either. The bill for four was much less than expected and reasonable. We would try it again when in area and would recommend this place to try.

Yum and more yum!

By pncboy85 |

Spinach salad is top notch fresh bountiful spinach with a little kick, lardons, crouton and jammy eggs. Rib eye was a 16 ounce virtually fat free ( very well trimmed ) with a limited choice of a la carte vegetables. Entree was $55 without any veggies. My friends had the kale salad, Greek salad and sea scallops. Everyone enjoyed their meal. We had a $70 nice Super Tuscan for a total of $266.00 w/o tip. Great enjoyable meal. Ask for Jason. He is a nice young man who provided great service. Too notch food.

Fantastic breakfast

By Molly |

We went to Parker & Quinn on 29th December. As with all other restaurants in New York City, there was a vaccine requirement, which definitely made us feel safer. We ordered: Apple French Toast, NY Bagel, Toast and Two Eggs We pre-booked this for breakfast one morning, and it was of great quality. The food was all fantastic, so much so that we ordered a NY bagel to take away. The atmosphere was great and the service was also very attentive and helpful. Will definitely be coming back if I'm ever in the area.

Glad I went here!

By fitzhoyt |

This was my first time here. My friend and I had a good meal and a fun time. I got the 'chicken under a brick' and it needed to be crispier but the chicken was very tender. The mashed potatoes were great! Good service

Warning to look at the drinks menu first and check the food

By Claire D |

Food was ok, asked for burger medium but came well done, asked for salad and only got rocket and onions, we weren’t given a drinks menu as we asked for our normal dinner which we would have anywhere, when the bill came we were shocked at the price of the wine $27 per glass, I’m not tight but this is expensive, we are residents at the hotel and go up to the roof bar and it’s not that expensive up there, so it’s fair to say we will not be back,☹️

Cherry on the cake!!

Fabolous food and special attention from HUGO LEYVA made our evening unforgettable. Thanks again Hugo for make our trip extra special. ¡Viva México! :)

A great dining experience in NYC.

By Roberts69 |

Had dinner with my wife at "Parker & Quinn" when visiting NYC from the UK. The lighting, décor and ambience were all spot on. I had the Beef Short Rib ($36) as my main dish and it was delicious and melted in my mouth. My wife had the Roasted Chicken ($38) which was equally delicious. The cheesecake for dessert was also excellent. Our server, Oscar took great care of us and certainly made our dining experience at Parker & Quinn feel special. We'd certainly dine here again when in NYC.

Great food, great service

By KaMu88 |

They were very accommodating with our group of six celebrating our mom’s birthday. We wanted to see the football game on the TV so they seated us in a cozy booth in the bar area. Two of us had the flatbread and it was great. The salads were delicious. Prices were reasonable. Would recommend.

Perfect Anniversary celebration!

By jjjad128103012 |

We had a wonderful romantic evening out in New York for our Anniversary. Part of it was spent having dinner at Parker & Quinn. Service was fantastic, they wrote a nice note that was left at our table and the manager (I did not get his name) came by several times to make sure we were enjoying ourselves (which we were completely)! We were both very happy we came here. Brussels Sprouts were fantastic!!

Quality dinner away from tourist trap

By DD67 |

Lovely dinner/ambience at this quality restaurant just a short walk from Times Square and away from the tourist trap. We wanted to spend our last night in NYC at a more high end restaurant that could still cater for our kids/fussy eaters. We have a lovely evening here and the food was delicious-steak for the adults that was delicious and not too over priced. My daughter had salmon and my son the classic burger and chips. All great and lots of locals here so good atmosphere. Recommend if you want more of a special evening rather than a grab and go at the end of a busy day of sight seeing! Only minor downside- the service towards the end of the evening slowed down so we had to ask for the dessert menu and final bill- the former worth the wait, the latter not so!. Great evening though that felt special and not too overpriced for the quality of the food/surroundings.

Excellent food

By RYC88 |

We picked this restaurant for Sunday brunch because they take reservations, but now that we've gone, we would go back even if we had to wait in line! The wait staffer was very nice and helpful with menu items. We loved every dish we had: the smashed avocado toast on wonderful sourdough; the fantastic “Hangover Hash” with the excellent polenta and pork with fabulous focaccia: the decadent French toast with sweet Brioche and a lovely surprise of coconut; and the banana bread with matcha butter - matcha can be a polarizing flavor, but this had just the perfect amount to not overwhelm the bread, it enhanced it. Everything was so fresh and delicious.

Just perfect

By SLD |

I loved this restaurant so much. Really elegant yet cosy diner vibe with top notch service and food. The chipotle honey peppers and steak were both incredible dishes. I would come back in a heartbeat.

Fabulous find for a meal

By kwuk2017 |

4 of us dropped by and luckily got a table early evening. Great ambience, lively and busy. Sat near the open kitchen. Ordered some small plates to share. Can thoroughly recommend the octopus and seared tuna.

Excellent

By Brian K |

We were in the very first booth in the picture. Recommend reservations as I heard one person say there was a 2 hour wait. Sunday brunch and two of us had eggs benedict and one had the yogurt and granola choice. Very good service and we will go again.

Brussels sprouts are amazing.

By Sheila F |

I will be back! Very busy and I did not have a reservation but was able to get a counter seat next to the kitchen right away. I had the half roast chicken with a lemon, garlic sauce. Very good! And the sweet and slightly Brussels sprouts were amazing, cooked well done just like I like them. Staff was busy but very attentive.

Excellent meal

By Lisa |

Ate early dinner on recommendation of our hotel concierge and were not disappointed. Excellent margarita pizza appetizer then pork chop with delicious sauce and very yummy vegetable risotto for main courses. Attentive service, quiet atmosphere.

Good breakfast!

By Emily T |

I think I discovered this place on Open Table. It was a little pricey, but the food was excellent and the staff was nice. We went for breakfast and I had the eggs benedict and a mimosa. Definitely recommend! Nice atmosphere, as well.

Always a favourite of ours when we visit

By spursfankent |

Been here many times and my wife always has her favourite Hanger steak and she is never disappointed. I went with a charcutier board which was okay but not enough bread and some of the meat looked like the sort of thing I used to put in the kids lunch back in the day and too many olives. Beer is good here it is in the upper price range but the atmosphere was good and it was busy.

Great Art Deco Restaurant in the Old Fashion District

By Marshall S |

Parker and Quinn, located at the Refinery Hotel, is a great dinner and drinks alternative to the Refinery Rooftop---the over-hyped, loud rooftop bar and restaurant in the same building. Parker and Quinn features a separate bar area that is perfect for those looking for drinks and watching sports. A more formal dining area, with traditional seating and high top tables, is adorned with leather and oak for an old school, art deco feel. We really enjoyed the Seared Ahi Tuna appetizer and the Pork Chop on the main menu. The Rigatoni was good, but nothing special. Service was attentive and helpful. Definitely a place we will visit again when in NYC.

Really great service

By Angela M |

Here on quick business meeting- had dinner w some friends. Food very good - but had a surprising service moment. I wanted a good shot of sipping tequilla... casa amigas w salt and a square cube of ice. Kenneth (hope thats his name... maybe kevin?) our server didnt have the ice... no big deal. This server goes to the other restaurant and ends up serving me a perfect drink! Wow. I was so impressed. As a seasoned traveler... i must say i dont find this “heart for service” often. Nicely done

A pleasant discovery near the hotel

By acquadellelba |

We came to the Parker Queen, in the Midtown area, almost by chance because it was close to our hotel, and it really surprised us in the positive. The location is very pleasant, in perfect New York steakhouse style, and the place is cozy and elegant. We ate very well, with meat cooked to perfection and dishes well served. Service was also impeccable: friendly, helpful and attentive staff. A great choice for those looking for a quality steakhouse in Midtown.

Very good food in a lively atmosphere

By Karl S |

We had dinner on a Sunday night, and it was rather busier than we might have expected! If you can't find something you like on the menu, maybe you aren't doing it right. My wife had the French Dip - wonderful, wonderful comfort food - and I had the very good lamb ragu. The dessert special was amazing - a berry and whipped cream concoction over some sort of lightweight base, just lovely. If we had a complaint, it might be that it was a bit hard to hear. With a judicious touch of sound deadening in just a couple corners, it would be 5 stars for sure. Prices are reasonable for midtown, I think; you don't have to spend a fortune here.

Incredible!

The final night of our NYC trip did not disappoint as we chose to spend it here, the food was the best we’ve had the whole time we’ve been here. Our server Chadd made sure we were looked after and apologised for a delay in food, it was definitely worth the wait though! We had the pork chop and the steak frites, with NY cheesecake and chocolate chip cookie skillet for dessert, all of which we would recommend. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in the area, even if you’re not wanting food this is also a lively bar with a great atmosphere.

Very Good

It was really busy the night we ate here. Food was good though. I was in a group of four. My meal was good, but whatever two of my friends had they absolutely raved about! Would give it another go.

Cool old school vibe.

We chose Parker and Quinn because it was close to a venue we were attending that evening. We dine out in NYC frequently. We had a reservation and were seated promptly at a high top (by our choice) in the diningroom. The staff was great and the place oozes old school charm. The bar is a good size one and was lively with the after work crowd. All the food we ordered was very good, but the Shishito peppers were the best we ever had. Drinks were cold, tasty and arrived swiftly. Service was OUTSTANDING. Prices are what you would expect for a nice place in Manhattan. No bargains here, but not an arm and a leg either If I had one critique (it’s a small one) it’s that the place screams “standard martini glass place rather than a martini served the champagne style glass. It was our first time dining here and won’t be our last

Stopped in here on our walk from Penn Station to see the tree at Rockefeller Plaza. Upscale bar food with nice menu and very friendly staff. Ryan had good sense of humor and provided personal service. Wife had Kale Cesear salad and had meatball app. Both had drinks $50 lite lunch.

Cozy, comfy, great staff, wonderful food

My daughter and I booked a dinner here and I'm glad we had a reservation. It was a Thursday night and it wasn't super crowded but it filled up by the time we were leaving and we ate fairly early. We were staying on 38th and walked around the block to enter the restaurant on 39th. But, you don't have to, it connects to the Roof Top Refinery Hotel on 38th. Go in the hotel, walk through the lobby and you enter the restaurant through a hallway. They have small and large plates. My daughter had a steak cooked to perfection and I had a very generous charcuterie plate. There is a nice wine selection and the bar tender made a mean martini. The staff was very friendly.

Brunch to fuel a day of shopping!

It's the perfect brunch spot to start a day in the city, and it's very close to Macy's and Bryant Park. The food was delicious AND the espresso martins were wonderful!

We went for breakfast to celebrate my partners bday. Food was great and big servings, staff were amazing and bought out a slice of the BEST cheesecake for his birthday 10 out of 10. Thankyou!
