Great pizza

By Kayla |

My husband and I sat at the bar and had an excellent server/bartender. He was well versed in the menu and did a great job with his recommendations. The hot hunny pizza was amazing and we loved it. Chill atmosphere and quick service for homemade fresh food.

Totally delicious pizza!

This place was recommended by our hotel and it did not disappoint! The pizza was totally delicious!! It was not cheap but who wants cheap pizza? ! We enjoyed the tomato and plum salad and the pizzas were melt in the mouth! Lovely staff too!

Outstanding Pizza Place Close to the American Museum of Natural History

By Kevin L |

Nice little pizza place - we stopped here after spending a few hours at the history museum. The place bright and charming. We ordered one starter (ricotta) and two pizzas for our group of 4 adults. The pizzas were the Roni and the Tomato Pie. Both were outstanding. The Tomato Pie is a cheese-less one so I added some leftover ricotta. Great service from our waiter and staff.

Good pizza, nice service

Very good pizza, nice service. The waiters always made sure, that we had enough (free) sparkling water on our table. Thx

DELICIOUS food with a fabulous ambience!!

By Talia D |

What a delicious meal at a lovely location! The ambience is light and bright offering a very pleasant atmosphere. We ordered the eggplant dish and broccolini dish as appetizers as well as the kale salad to start. Excellent dishes made with such fresh ingredients! Next, we ordered the gnocchi with bolognese and a classic pizza. Their pizza ingredients include: flour from Italy, tomatoes from NJ, and mozzarella from NY. And WOW was it obvious! You could taste every fresh ingredient in the pizza and the gnocchi was pillowy and light alongside the delicious bolognese. I couldn’t recommend this restaurant enough - any occasion with any group of people!

Excellent pizza near the Natural History Museum!

By ATLfoodie22 |

Stumbled upon this place when looking for pizza for lunch near the Natural History Museum. Wow, food was all fantastic. Four of us shared prosciutto and olives, followed by Two pizzas: The Roni and the Burriza. Pizzas were really exceptional, and each easily feeds two. Highly recommend.

super customer experience

By Lori M |

my review is based on customer service, not food since they were too booked for me to eat there. It was my birthday and we had just left the AMNH and we were looking for a dinner spot. Parla looked good but they didn't have a table until 10pm! The GM, Eric, was so kind when he heard it was my birthday he had a waiter bring out a to go cup of gelato with 3 spoons for me and my friends. the menu and food looked great - I will go back there soon.

A Night Out at Parla

By andrew F |

Spouse and I and one of our daughters had dinner at Parla a few evenings ago - Saturday night. It was hard to get a reservation. Ambiance: Parla is a relatively small space with tables and a bench lining the edge, chairs along the inner side of the tables, and a bar in the middle. It's nice, didn't feel too loud, and fairly simple. Service - excellent. Timely, some meaningful contribution about which dishes the wait staff preferred, and they regularly restocked water and drinks. Food - very good, not exceptional. We split a chopped salad, a spicy eggplant square pizza, and a bowl of mafaldine pasta with vodka sauce. It was all tasty; the square pizza, though it looks thick like deep dish, is fairly light, more like focaccia. it's different from what you often see in NYC, and it looked like a better choice than the round pies, which didn't look like anything special. If you're looking for a top-shelf round pizza, there are better options. There was a little bit of spice to the eggplant, but they're not taking any risks. I liked the beer selection - small but with distinctive options. I'm not picky or looking for a gourmet experience; that said, we had a really nice night out and enjoyed Parla across the board. Strong positive recommendation.
