We had dinner here with our son recently and were not impressed. The chicken parm was good, the pasta with it was spicy, but ok. However, our waitress was just flat out rude... Never had this experience before. Maybe she was just having an off night, not sure, but we will not return. There are too many other good restaurants in the city with better food, cheaper prices and nicer staff.

Hubby & I stopped in here for a bite to eat. We were told to take a seat anywhere. We were then Totally ignored. No one asked us Anything. We actually just got tired of sitting, and it was apparent that no one was in a hurry to meet our needs. Don't waste ur time.

This is not fine dining. It's like a diner. Stop here for a sub sandwich or for some Chicken Parm. The Chicken Parm is fantastic. The restaurant is super small, paper napkins, no table cloths. We did dinner here, I think it's more suitable for lunch. The food was great, the service was as expected and ambiance was diner-style. We were able to order a bottle of wine and the salad was good. Again, great spot for lunch. Would have chosen other places on Mulberry for diner dining.

I saw Parm on an episode of "Master of None" and decided to check it out for myself. It was fairly slow for the time of day and the food and service was excellent. My wife said the Italian sandwich she got was the best she ever tasted.

My office is near Parm, and I like to go there for a Beet Negroni and the garlic balls—the best garlic balls you will ever have. Mulberry Street and the parallel streets like Mott and Elizabeth are great for strolling.

I walked in for lunch on a Sunday, it wasn't too busy. I was madly craving my favorite food, chicken parm. I asked the very congenial woman behind the counter where I could sit, how to order (was not greeted by any host so didn't know the deal). A reluctant young gentleman next to the counter pointed at a table sandwiched between two noisily chatting couples - there was a whole row of empty tables 2 feet from them - I asked if one of those would be okay, he said sure. Then I just sat there. I don't know for how long, I am not one of these reviewers who runs a stopwatch. But I was hungry and thirsty after a long walk, and was very much looking forward to trying the food here. After some amount of time with no menu, water, or anyone to check on me, I got up and saw that everyone working at the counter was just chatting, nobody was busy, someone was having fun creatively arranging a plate on the counter where nobody was sitting. So I left. Maybe I'll try the UWS location, but I won't go back here. When a new customer greets you with a smile, and says this is my first time here, that is an invitation to gain a lifelong customer. They declined my invitation.

I had never had fresh Mozzarella balls before and these were made there. Awesome! The baked Penne was cheesy delicious :-)

After trying, and failing, to find a good, Italian meal in NYC, we got lucky and found this gem the day we were flying back home. We were visiting a local bar, who didn't serve food, and we needed something! so we googled restaurants nearby, and this came up as highly rated. We sat at the bar, and the bartender was kind enough to turn the Packer game on for us. The staff was very friendly. I got the meatball hero, and my husband got the chicken parm hero. These sandwiches are HUGE, for a big appetite; Now you are warned :) I got a Manhattan to drink, and the bartender made a really good one - way better than you'd expect from a diner. Pricing was a bit high, but worth it. This was hands down the best meal we had in NYC. We find ourselves talking about it now and again still, so it left a lasting impression. We know one of our first stops next time we're in NYC. YUM!

We had a wonderful dinner (outdoor seating) featuring the famous chicken parm. Wait staff was attentive and helpful; atmosphere around the restaurant was festive and fun (saxaphone player added a special touch). Great to see New Yorkers and visitors out enjoying a meal again!!!

This is the typical Italian restaurant for those who want a quick meal where at Zabar they can buy it for much less. The calamari were good....my pasta with Bolognese sauce had nothing spectacular on it....the ribs were fat and undercooked....and whatever else the rest had was nothing to write home about it. The server arrived with a second order of calamari which we had not ordered and sent back. I always ask for Gnocchi, when it isn't in the menu I wonder about the restaurant. And when some restaurants have it, the very fine ones have it made at home, the others buy their Gnocchi at Restaurant Depot. Anyway, I guess anybody can operate an mediocre Italian restaurant.... Best,

Met for lunch with a bunch of former co-workers. The food was amazing and we ate until we were sick. The Chicken and Meatball Parm were beyond delicious. Nothing fancy just good food in a fun atmosphere. The space is not big so be prepared to wait during peak times.

As a chicken parm fanatic, I was curious to see how this would rate on my parm scale. Went for lunch on my fellow parm friend's recommendation and boy was she right. The chicken was cooked to perfection and the red sauce was delish. I ordered on roll which ended up being a bit small as I wanted to order another one as the first one was so good. Small place so get there during off hours if you want to get in.

I stopped in here for lunch while strolling through Nolita and after doing a little research and review reading. The restaurant is fairly small with seats at the bar and a few tables in the back. The menu is on a chalkboard above the bar. It's pretty small with a few sandwich choices and some appetizers. I ordered the meatball parm sandwich and was pleasantly surprised. I had expected a heavy sandwich loaded with cheese and drowned in sauce and it seemed like a bad choice-considering it was nearly 100 degrees that day but what I got was the opposite. The sandwich was served on a crisp sesame seed roll that was cut in half. Several large meatballs served with just enough sauce for flavor and a nicely apportioned layer of mozzarella cheese. The meatballs were soft and not overly seasoned with very little aftertaste, the bread was crisp and stayed crisp until I finished. The flavor of the meatballs was not drowned out by the sauce but rather complimented by it and there was cheese in every bite. Surprisingly, the sandwich was "lite" for a meatball sandwich. I didn't feel bloated or too full after finishing-which was good on a hot day. Prices are in line for NYC, I believe that the sandwich was about 14 bucks and it was well worth it. My only complaint is that they do charge for drink refills here but that would not dissuade me from eating here again

We found Parm whilst going for a stroll through Chinatown and Little Italy. We wandered in a grabbed a seat at the bar and enjoying some excellent local Pilsner. Then we indulged some amazing Italian sandwiches, the Chicken Parmigiana was one of the best I've tasted. If you just want a quiet beer and lunch, this place is perfect.

Found this place by accident while visiting Manhattan. The good was ok nothing special but the prices reflect that the food should be spectacular. The service was not great. The young lady that took our order disappeared and never returned. I asked another server for a water refill and she told me our server left. Kind of felt like we were forgotten. I'm sure there are better options

Awful experience. Horrible food and thoroughly bad service. Spaghetti and meatballs - spaghetti was so over salted it was inedible; “Sunday salad” had no dressing - just a smattering of dried oregano on top; garlic bread was burnt. Even worse was the service, despite being half empty there were multiple workers milling about but no one in charge ... so people didn’t get seated, no one ever checked on us, one of our meals went missing (with no one sure who was looking for it), waiter disappeared so had to track down bill etc etc

We got there through a local recommendation, and the overall experience was nice. The chicken parm and meatball hero were great though a bit pricey.

Place was not a disappointment in any way and previous reviews proved to be true here too. Extra points for waiters kind suggestionts that one large pizza would be enough for two. We were well fed when we left the place so thank **od we didnt order to separate pizzas.

Amazing sandwich. Glad I didn’t try the large size. Not cheap, but great food. Close to the pier and World Trade.

A simple menu done well. Really enjoyed my sandwich. Seems like it will get busy at times, but definitely worth trying.

When it first opened Parm was a special little out of the way place. The meatballs were the best I’ve ever had. Passed though the city twice more and it was always just as good. Have tried the Parm off Wall st but Mulbury street was always the fav. Tonight from the hour wait to the service to the management not wanting to hear any complaints it’s time to move to other restaurants that remember they are there for the customers, not the personal whims of the friends of the staff. In 25 years of eating all over Brooklyn and Manhattan the biggest culinary and service disappointment I have ever encountered. If I felt more generous I would buy a copy of the amazing book UNREASONABLE HOSPITALITY and give one the everyone from the doorman to the manager. .

Taken here by a friend, the place was loud and busy, really enjoyable. Great atmosphere, the menu was simple which I liked and the food was excellent. I think we had a rookie waitress as only one starter was delivered, two portions of garlic bread failed to arrive. Our pasta was wonderful, our friend asked for three portions of ice cream cake to be saved for us as they ran out when he was there the week before. We were told they had enough! When we were ready for dessert, they had run out of the original ice cream cake! Our friend was not happy. We ordered what was left and also coffee. One coffee failed to turn up! What we had was great, would have been even better if we had what we ordered in the first place though. I understand the restaurant is new, so perhaps a few teething issues?

I stopped in with a toddler in tow and they accommodated us in the back even though the area was closed! I ordered the large plate of chicken parmesan that came with a salad. It was tasty. However, I wasn't sure how long my toddler would last so we had to depart. I returned later to get a late evening meal and ordered the eggplant parmesan hero. That was a total winner and maybe tasted better than the chicken! Totally worth returning here or trying out!

Parm has opened a new place on the Upper West Side. Went with friends after it was opened about a week. They did a nice job with the decor, comfortable and welcoming. now to the food. The prices were average for NY, and the service was very good. The issues were the portions and flavors. Two had a pasta dish which turned out to be very spicy although not described that way. One had the lasagna platter which although tasty was a very small portion. I had the meatball parm sandwich which as really good and a great Sunday salad. I guess the name of the restaurant tells you what you should eat. We'll try again as in any new place sometimes you have to give them a chance to get their act together. I'd love to bring up rating up a notch.

Disappointed. went on recommendation from a blog read on Pinterest best places to eat in NYC. Hostess greeted was friendly as was waiter who was the only one apparently working. Music was awful something rap I think. Very small confined space and uncomfortable Food was just okay. I ordered eggplant parmigiana daughter had baked zit which she said was not as good as mine. would recommend some where else to get a better Little Italy feel.

Went there with 2 people for lunch and had a meatball and an eggplant sandwich. Best sandwich EVER!! Also a nice little spot to sit.

The food and service were amazing!! Everyone needs to try this place!!! I will definitely go again! We were able to sit at the bar and eat family style. The bartenders were very friendly and able to give us recommendations on what to eat and other places to go in SoHo after dinner.

Walked into Parm accidentally while strolling through SoHo. It is small and cozy and has a limited menu but the options are fantastic. Hubs and I had the heroes, eggplant parm is wonderful. Fries are a MUST order, they are unreal! Food is simple and fresh, a must try if in the area. What a cute little place! Will for sure be back!

I have been wanting to try Parm for a long time and I am glad I was in the area and stopped in. The food and service are wonderful. I had a Chicken Parm on a roll and it was delicious. Perfect cooked chicken breast with a nice red sauce and fresh mozzarella. The sandwich worked! So fresh and flavorful. I had the ice cream cake for dessert should not be missed!

The meatballs were at best average...the sauce was bland...need to add some spice to it... The service was good, but -1 star for the manager. The music was extreme loud and when we requested the music be turned down we had to ask four time. The music remained low for about five minutes then was turned up again. It was so loud it was difficult to talk to the people sitting across the table. We asked again two more times if they could turn the music down, which eventually they did.. We will never again go back to this place.

Had a reservation for 8:15 didn't get seated until 9:50 because they needed to clean off a table. Waited at the bar but the only bartender was making drinks for the entire restaurant and kept coming by saying 'I'll be with you in a minute'. Finally got seated after moving past a row of tables with dirty dishes. No wonder customers had to wait. Then 4 different waiters came to take our order. Confusion? Ordered drinks which took forever to get and had to pronounce Sauvignon Blanc to the waiter who tried to hurry us into ordering. Food came, disappointed. I had the spaghetti and meatballs which looked like 'Chef Boyardee' with two sliced dry (no sauce) meatballs. In fact if Kal-Kan made Italian food it would have been better than Parm. What a sheet show. I give this place 5 SUCKS. Food, atmosphere, service, manager, staff all sucked. What was amusing though was to see Parm sit a group of four several tables from us next to a table that handn't been cleaned off since we got there. AVOID, AVOID. Instead of calling this place 'PARM' they should call it "MERDA".

Small, delicious, real. If I say any more I will never get a seat in there next time. The meatballs - the perfect mix of veal, pork and beef with so fresh mozzarella slathered on top.

This is a small place in Little Italy. The food was great. We really enjoyed our meal here, and met some great locals here also.

Part of the magic in visiting NYC is stumbling upon wonderful small local restaurants. We sat at the counter and ate delicious meatball sandwiches with a great cold beer. So much fun and delicious!

Apparently a new location from the same people. We dropped in for dinner without a reservation. They put us on the list and took our number -- to text us when the table was ready. We had a nice visit to Central Park (inside of having to wait at the restaurant). They were spot on in the timing, allowed us to return from the park after receiving their text. The food was GREAT!! My picky eater son was delighted and I had some of the best baked Ziti I've had in a very long time. It doesn't exist in Miami. It will remain on our list for Upper West Eateries.

I've been to Parm about a dozen times now, but have eaten only 3 things on the menu. The chicken parm, the turkey sandwich and the Sunday salad. Chicken parm is good...not the best I've ever had, but good. Get it on the hero or a platter...the roll is the wrong choice in my opinion. Too much bread and too sweet. The Sunday salad is the exact salad I ate at my grandmothers house every Sunday for family dinner...although you need to ask for it lightly dressed or it will be drowned. The house made turkey is awesome and is now the only thing I eat when I come here. It is THAT good.

We were just stromling around and came across this place. We had just met a couple guys that told us a few hours earlier about to die for meetball roll. It wasnt to die for but it was very very good. Unfortunatly the very friendly waiter recomended a the chicken roll too, which was in a far lower league than the meatball roll. In other words go by for lunch or a snack and get the meetball roll! Its fantastic.

Went to Parm for lunch with several friends who live right near the restaurant. We went mid-week and it was pleasantly busy with a combo local and visitor ambiance. Each of us loved what we ordered; eggplant platter, chicken parm hero, and some of the veggie sides like chickpeas and cucumbers. My only negative comment is that they had the music too loud and it was difficult to hear conversations. Other than that, I have already told others about this enjoyable new spot on Columbus Avenue.

Went here 3 years ago and had the Meatball sub. Was the best meatball, meat period, that I have ever eaten. Could not wait to have it again. Had the meatball plate and was not disappointed. Incredible flavor, an experience you do not want to miss. Rob served us, we felt like family, very friendly atmosphere. Baked Ziti is also incredible. Highlight of NYC visit.

Small restaurant to almost uncomfortable. Meatball parm sandwich was good but could be great if it was more meatball and less bread.

Really loved this place, but made the mistake of eating here on a weekend. The food was tired and the noise UNBEARABLE. Why don't restaurants understand that if you decorate a place with ALL HARD SURFACES, the noise will be awful.

Ordered a large number of sandwiches for a work function. They were all DELICIOUS, especially the bread.

Parm NYC is an excellent Italian-inspired restaurant on the Upper West Side. We had a group of ten, including five kids under 10 years. Everyone enjoyed their meals. Most important, the atmosphere was fun and the staff were enthusiastic, making it a fun evening for all.

Awful. Rude ghetto hostess and her sidekick tried to sit single professional woman at bar, AFTER she clearly requested a table for one for dinner. Incompetent, harassing, and discriminatory, as if the place was packed...it wasn't. Then had the chutzpah to tell customer to go somewhere else! Asked for manager. Got seat. Said hi to reg waiter. Ate and left. Indigestion. UWS.

The menu is pretty small, only a couple of choices, each option can be served on it's own with a side (platter style) or on a hoagie or a roll. I had the chicken parmesan as a platter with baked ziti on the side. It was delicious, loved it. My kids had the baked ziti as well and loved it. My other dining partners had meatballs on a roll and sausage and peppers, everyone cleaned their plates and there were no complaints. We didn't have a reservation, so we tried to arrive a little on the early side since we knew the restaurant was small and we had a group (5 diners). The restaurant is a long bar with only a handful of tables, but we were lucky and were seated in less than 5 minutes. Our server was great and friendly and even took a picture of our group since we were meeting an old friend. Lovely and relaxing meal. Would definitely return.

A great little place for a quick snack and a beer. Not the cheapest place but then it's New York. Loved the atmosphere. Friendly staff and food was very good.

I called my friend Sherry who said let's go to Parm tonight because they just opened a new location on the upper West side. We got there about 6:45 (Saturday) and place was packed out with somewhat of a wait. We waited at the Bar and had a nice Pinot Noir. While waiting I noticed the host (Richard) A pleasant young man, was handling everything exceptionally well. We got lucky and were seated in a booth in the back. Our waiter Bryan who was very attentive, suggested a Mozzarella starter which we ordered. For my main dish I had veal Parmesan, a good choice, Sherry had the eggplant Parm roll which she loved. However the starter did not arrive before the main dishes, with profound apologies from Byan. As we finished our meal with some cappuccino we were brought an ice cream cake with apologies for the starter not arriving in time. A very nice gesture. The buseling large dining area is very cheerfully decorated. The menu with choices of starters, pasta, salads, sandwiches as well as main dishes, is relatively moderately priced. All in all a very pleasant dinner in a new popular fun place. I will return!

We spent a whole afternoon in this area full of bars restaurants and quaint things to see. Parm looked inviting and kind of trendy, meaning it looked like it wasn't going to have the same old boring Italian food as many other cafes. It's a tiny shop front and just as tiny inside but It beckoned us in. It was surprisingly packed and after a short wait we scored a seat at the bar. The service is friendly and you feel like you are right in the action. the menu is small but there is a great choice of wine and beer. There a a few tables down the back but we were really happy to be sitting at the bar. this is not a place you would linger long as there is a line out of the door. We had the mozzarella sticks with a good tomato ( made there ) dipping sauce and a flash fried calamari. Both were delicious. i hear that they have a few restaurants. I am happy to say it WASN'T a boring over priced Italian slop cafe. I'd eat here again

Parm was as advertised and the staff did a good job accommodating to the customers needs. Great spot!

best meatball sandwich I've had, sides & starters just as good and my girlfriend loved her chicken one too. great little restaurant, highly recommend.

Went here after going up to the crown on the Statue Of Liberty & Ellis Island. Big place with great wait staff. I got Penne Scampi. It was a huge portion and so tender and flavorful. We started with some mozzarella sticks which they are noted for. They were great too. Also got a big Caesatons were spoy. I think put in too soon. But overall a wonderful experience. All 4 of us loved our meals. In fact they without us mentioning anything took the salad off the bill. Very willing to keep their customers happy.

Recommended by our tour guide shawn @realnewyorktours We had meatball roll and sausage and pepper roll our guide had ricotta toast all delicious. Go try you won't be disappointed. Also nice local beer

This is a very small restaurant but the food exceeded my expectations! We had Calamari for our appetizer and it was very light and crispy. It came with 2 wonderful sauces; one a spicy/creamy aioli and the other a nice marinara. I ordered the Eggplant Parmigiana with noodles and it was delicious! My colleague ordered the Chicken Francese and loved it. I would definitely recommend this restaurant. Fresh and tasty food in a cute setting.

Great chicken parm and spicy pasta. Sat at the counter with twin servers that were fun and provided great service. Menu is not extensive but everything is good.

I had heard great reviews about this place on a food blog prior to going to NYC. I made sure that Parm was on our dinner list! We took the subway to Little Italy and it was a short walk from Houston. We got there about 7 and she told us the wait would be about 45 minutes. We went next door for a drink and when we came back, 45 minutes later, we were seated. Small place, not a lot of seating, hence the long wait times. No reservations accepted either. The food - awesome! I had the chicken parm platter with a side of ziti. The chicken was so tender and juicy, the ziti was done perfectly and it all came together very well. My mouth is watering for it now, it was SO good. Everybody else was raving about their meals as well, which is a rare thing for some of my family members! I'd got back in a heart beat... worth the wait, worth the trip, worth it!!

I just read the reviews on this restaurant and was shocked to see all these good reviews. My experience was very different. On August 25 (my birthday) while visiting NY and my son who just recently moved there, we went into Little Italy to find Italian food which is my favorite. My son was trying to keep me and my friend happy and thought that would be the best place. While on our walk a young lady stopped to talk with us and advised us that Little Italy in spite of its name is not the best place and suggested we were close to this place called "Parm" and that it was good. I guess I should have told her that it was my birthday and I was not looking for the fast food effect. When we arrived we noticed right away that it was busy but that would not be hard as you could not swing a cat around it and people were literally sitting elbow to elbow in this place. Then to make matters worse they had a little area at front and the girl who came up to us told us it would be about a twenty min wait and that someone was just finishing their dessert. I got the impression from here that she was getting annoyed with the people eating as they were not going fast enough. I assume that people there get rushed through their meal because it is so small and the quicker they get out then the more people they get in. This was my birthday and I certainly did not want to rush my meal. By this time it is now 9pm, and after 25min, I was fed up waiting and suggested we go find somewhere else. While sittlng there and having a discussion...I noticed the looks the worman who worked there was giving I did not like, and there was a couple sitting at the counter eating who were giving a dirty look at me because I complained to my friend that this restaurant was not close to what I expected for a Italian restaurant or for my Birthday. We decided to leave and as we reached outside the door the girl came saying our table was ready...funny I did not see anyone leave. We went back inside and the place was so small that when we got to our table I could not even have a proper conversation with anyone as so close to the people to each side of us, and I could hear all their conversation. So, I said...this is not going to work and told them I wanted to leave. Sorry, I don't care if people claim the food is good...but if it is, then they should just stick to take out. But this was the worst experience I have had in years...would never suggest to people to go here. PS. I did look at the menu...small selection and not any cheaper than the nice italian restaurants....p.s. We did find another place that was really good. (Becco)

Sandwiches here and not much else. And those sandwiches pale in comparison to a good Italian deli parm wrapped in foil. Bread was a little stale, sauce a little light, but a lot of cheese. Wine glass had a lipstick mark, and the wine and beer list limited.

The restaurant is quite small and cosy and we were seated straightaway as it was relatively empty when we arrived. Our server was pleasant and explained the menu thoroughly. We ordered the calamari which was recommended and we were not disappointed. The only point I would make is that the portion size was a tad on the small size. I ordered the meatball parm which was delicious! It looks deceivingly small but is actually extremely filling. I would recommend going to Parm for a quick bite if you're in the area.

Parm was recommended to us by our tour guide from CityRover tours, and it did not disappoint! We were expecting delicious, authentic Italian food and that is what we received. Although the space is a bit small we had plenty of room.. The waiter was kind and attentive and very helpful when it came to recommendations or anything we needed. The pizza garlic knots were amazing and the chicken parm out of this world. We topped it off with zeppoles which were warm and doughy, just right. All at a good price, we were pleased.

I ordered the baked ziti and it was some of the best baked Italian I've ever had. I tried some of the meatballs and chicken parm as well...even tastier! Must go again when I visit.

We hopped in for a quick lunch, and were seated immediately. Ordered the calamares (nice, served with two different sauces), a chicken parm and a meatball parm, both on the smallest available sandwich. Good taste (chicken not to dry, meatball a bit salty), quite satisfying considering we ordered the small buns, but not something really special (really just meat and tomato sauce on a bun). Bit expensive ($10 for the smallest bun, $15 for the calamares) but the service was quick and nice.

This is one of the best meals I have had in New York. Walk in, no reservation. You should definitely try.

Had dinner here with three coworkers/friends. We all had the chicken parmesan and it was absolutely delicious.

From the time I arrived, I noticed the staff was hard at work trying to keep up with the crowds from San Gennaro festival outside. Amongst the chaos, I was greeted by their outside server, Xander, who was smiling and friendly and helped me get to a great center seat at the bar. Then Chelsea, the bartender, got me set up with a drink and food menu. She has been working here for years but is new to Bartending. But you couldn’t tell because she serves with a smile and knows how to make everyone feel welcome while she works. The menu is simple and short, everything looked great from what I was able to scope out from other people’s food down the bar. My meatball roll was fantastic! My Italian great grandmother wouldn’t be disappointed... but don’t tell her I ate someone else’s meatballs, just to be safe! The team was happy the whole time and worked with smiles and efficiently through all the busy night with the crowd.

Food was very Good, we had the eggplant (A+) and the meatballs (A). For appetizer we had the cucumbers with sour vinegar (A). Everything very tasty. The only fault was, service. They have a large counter and the atmosphere is nice, small place but comfy.

Stumbled upon this place while trying to find LIttle Italy and got too hungry to continue. On entry we didn't even see it was like a typical American diner with red & white checkered tablecloths and small tables. We went in, the staff were great, space is a little tight but all adds to the atmosphere. Quickly had menu's and local beer in hand and had ordered the Chicken Parm (signature dish). The food came, it was lovely chicken parm on a torpedo roll with fries, food was hot and tasted good. Would come back again if in the area.

Standard deli/diner near central park. Not massively memorable, but food was solid and average New York price. Lunch for two came to $28 including one main and one drink each

A long, narrow room with an old time counter on the left and scratched Formica tables on the right. Sort of 1950s-1960s retro, including the wallpaper. Crowded and loud, expect to squeeze past tables and people whenever standing. Had the eggplant parm platter with ziti. Huge portion, could only eat half. Believe me, I really wanted to eat it ALL. It was sooooo delicious. A mile high stack of very thin eggplant layers intertwined with ricotta and covered with wonderful sauce, a pool of sauce on the plate to sop up with the eggplant, ziti baked and topped with more ricotta. Heaven. Downside was the service -- they just aren't that into you.

This restaurant was recommended by Eater, that sucks because their other recommendations were spot on. The food was basic, our server ashley tried to maintain the atmosphere which is reminiscent of a diner vibe. Unfortunately, unruly guests that cannot control their screaming, shouting children will always get preference over the one time tourist. its unfortunate but true. They tried to relieve our discomfort by comping our dinner but our evening was already ruined. No need for a second visit,

Parm was our last meal in NYC before heading home. The Buffalo cucumbers were dissapointing as an appetizer, but we came for the chicken parm and it did NOT dissapoint. Soooo good. Very nice ambience and 50s music playing, service was quick. Do NOT miss Parm next time you're in the city. Meatball hero was incredible too.

If you can’t get good eggplant parm in Little Italy where can you find it? Ordered takeout, sandwich ready in just a few minutes. Lots of eggplant skin left on eggplant in sandwich. Not a fan of that. Little bit of cheese and the hero was more like a hamburger roll. Disappointing. My search continues!

The sandwiches there are the best chicken parm sandwiches in Manhattan. It's a place I often bring out of towners to and with a lot of not great food on Mulberry street Parm really sets itself a part as a great place to get Italian Parm Sandwiches. I would suggest staying away from their Apps and Desserts as they are a little overpriced and not very good... but if you have a better place to get a Parm hero please let me know ASAP first Parm is on me.... PS Stay away from their UWS location though... don't waste your time there.

Happened upon this little dive while walking through Little Italy. Best Eggplant Parm - EVER!!!!! Drinks were great too and the Sunday Salad hit the spot. Waiter said that his favorite was the meatball. We should have had one for dessert. Would have given it a 5 rating, but it's really a small and cramped place. Got lucky to walk in before it started to get crowded.

I had an awesome dinner here, on what was my third visit in a year. This time, I was solo so I ate at the bar. I was floored with how friendly and enthusiastic the bar tender was. My chicken parm was (again) amazing.

Small spot, with yummy sandwiches. Good wine, friendly staff. They have limited seating at tables and a counter with about 10 seats. They do not take reservations. Full bar. Homemade ice tea. The buffalo cucumbers are delicious.

Worst customer service I’ve ever experienced in NYC. Mediocre food and not worth anyone’s time. Delivery is a mess. Overall horrible experience.

I have a lot of good things to say about Parm. The food is excellent and priced reasonably. Their mozzarella sticks are some of the best I've ever had. The chicken parm and baked ziti were also delicious. It's a fairly small menu, and that's fine by me. Stick with the dishes with red sauce and mozzarella cheese and you wont go wrong. Service was a bit spotty. Could improve in this area.

Next door to Torrisi's and same owners. This is the sandwich/small meals restaurant of Torrisi Italian Specialties - shares same kitchen. Has sandwiches, clams, ricotta toast, pizza knots, and smaller items with about five dinner plates available after 5 pm. Small dining area and a luncheonette style bar. We got there at changeover so the rear dining area (looks like old fashioned diner) was taken up by staff eating their meals - we sat at counter. Sandwiches are eggplant parm, chicken park, sausage and peppers, and a couple other choices. Served on a round semolina roll ($9), hero roll (Italian bread - $12) or as a platter with Sunday salad and pasta but not bread ($17). Son had raw clams ($8) and sausage and peppers roll. I had eggplant parm roll. Loved it. Really great - maybe the best eggplant parm I have ever had? Son loved the sausage and peppers. He stayed to have dessert (zeppoles) while I retrieved the car. You can get zeppoles (5 for $5) filled with chocolate pudding or fruit jam. He saved me one - fruit jam filled - absolutely delicious. Have been trying to go to Torrisi's for a long time - now having had a taste I am more determined than ever to get there. Nice stop for good meal in a pricey area.

Loved the chicken parm!!! Flavor was great. Liked the atmosphere and happy with the service. Very wuick from order to food on table. Thought the cost was excessive for what you got, if a salad was included at this price, I would have given 5 stars

We were looking for a local italian lunch place in Little Italy and Parm was recommended to us by the staff at the neighbouring John Fluevog shoe store. We saddled up to the counter and had a delicious chicken parmigiana lunch special. I had a great glass of wine and we thoroughly enjoyed the company of the friendly wait staff behind the counter. Although the place was busy we were not rushed, even when we pulled out our tourist map and the server helped us plan our afternoon!

Anytime we want to get lunch to-go for everyone in our office, we always end up ordering from Parm. Sandwiches are DELISH and easy to cut up and share. Eggplant Parm is terrific and so is the Cutlet. Try both!

Went to this restaurant with local new yorker's and was not disappointed. There was so much food that I felt unable to move for sometime after the meal. The pasta dish was the one that stole the show for me! I would return to this place purley for that. Chicken Parm sub was very nice as well but very messy to eat and definitely not the star of the show for me.

Cute little lunch place on Mulberry Street. Great bites for lunch. Got the Chicken Parm platter with a salad. Very good!

Went with a group of 6 women - most got lasagna, which was good. I had eggplant lasagna and it was delicious. The noodles with "spicy sauce" aren't that spicy, but the flavor is very good. The wallpaper in the bathroom is cool - see for yourself!

This is not really a "Little Italy" restaurant, if that's what you are looking for. It's new made to feel old, and from what I'm gathering of other reviews appears to be a small chain restaurant (there's one on the upper west side as well) but the food is very good! The service was also very good and friendly, although our sandwiches were not cut in half which was offered by the waitperson. We hadn't asked for that, so we just shrugged it off. One thing to be very aware of: It is tiny. They do not have high chairs or booster seats and they absolutely do not have a changing station. The bathroom is tinier than an airline bathroom. I am not exaggerating. It is really that small. There's only a few inches of space between the toilet bowl and the outside door. There is only one toilet. Spare yourself the stress if you have a small child or baby in tow, or have special needs of any kind, like maybe you are human size and have to use the bathroom frequently, and go elsewhere if those conditions will be in play during your dining experience.

Great small chain of Italian-American restaurants. Only went to Upper West Side and only had the eggplant parmesan sandwich which was amazing. It did not feel or taste greasy though I realize oil was involved. My daugther loved her chicken parm. "Italian" french fries are decadent, exploding with sodium but delicious. Nice service and family friendly.

We went here for dinner on a 3rd-hand recommendation. The menu is more limited than shown here, but if you like chicken parmesan, this is a good place to eat. Wifey had the baked ziti, which was tasty too. I had a chicken parm platter with the spicy rotini. The sauce on the rotini was like a vodka sauce and it did have a good kick to it, and it was a substantial pile of pasta. The portion of chicken was three small pieces with a decent piece of cheese each and not quite enough tasty marinara. Daughter had a chicken parm roll which was the size of a typical burger with two pieces of chicken, also with not quite enough sauce. Service was friendly and quick. The back corner was rather stuffy but other parts of this small place were probably too cold with the air collets going.

Food ☆☆☆☆ Service ☆ If you're ordering takeout, read no further! The food here is INCREDIBLE and I highly recommend it, especially the chicken parm platter that you can order with baked ziti. The entrée arrives with a big creamy dollop of ricotta on the top and is deliciously scrumptious. Hence the food gets four stars. But if you're planning on eating at the restaurant - DON'T. It's the service that stops me from giving this place a four star overall. It was a small restaurant with an open kitchen and loud music. The waiter came over to take our orders and rudely told my friend, "You gotta speak louder." Having worked in the food industry, I believe the polite way to address this is to say, "Could you please repeat that?" After our meal the hostess arrived to take our credit cards and was upset because she had to split the bill in half. Once again, having split up to five different credit cards myself as a cashier, you take it in stride. You don't have to like it but you did sign up to work in a highly service and hospitality based industry. While they were ringing up our cards, two of us got up to use the restroom while our third friend waited. We weren't lingering after the meal; my friend was just watching our bags. The hostess came back with our cards and started hovering over our table to see if she would get up. Bottom line, if you want to try the delicious food, order takeout. Don't go there to eat in person because the service is downright awful.

Went here for the first time with a friend who recommended a quick bite for dinner. This place is very small but very good! I had the chicken parm and I really enjoyed it. I would go back!!

Who goes to an Italian restaurant for fries?! We do. The fries here are fabulous, skinny and dusted with herbs and perhaps a touch of Parm. Really great. The rest of the menu is good too, spaghetti with homemade meatballs, the chicken parm, and the savory Randy Levine sandwich (pork belly and pickle). The UWS location, where we went, is wonderful for families, with a nice kids menu and coloring stuff. The servers are child friendly and attentive. Our little one had a Shirley Temple replaced after he inadvertently spilled it. Grown up drinks and beer are good, but the few wines by the bottle are pricey.

A local friend recommended this small chain for my visit to NYC. There are a couple locations. My chicken parm sandwich was top-notch and the dessert was absolutely awesome. Our server was friendly and the food came out promptly. The prices were reasonable. I'd definitely go back.

We came here on a Friday. We knew we wanted to eat here and avoid a wait, so we got there when the doors opened. You can sit at the bar or at little tables in the back. We sat in the back and ordered a chocken parm sandwich on the semolina roll and the meatball parm on the sub-style roll. The sub-style roll is much larger (perfect amount for my husband). There's no way to describe the food but delicious. The sandwiches are relatively simple - good bread, good meat, good sauce, good cheese, and some basil. Just fantastic! I'd definitely go back! Also, they have a Parm stand at Yankee Stadium so you can enjoy it at the ballgame!

So eating here with a group of colleagues was a last minute choice forced by desire to eat quickly. The waiter was good and the food was fine, but when in NYC, I prefer to find something more unique is all. I was at the 245 Mulberry Street location

Stopped for lunch after a stroll through Central Park. It's just a few blocks away. The mozzarella sticks and chicken Parmesan were highly recommended. You can get that as an entree, sandwich or hero/sub. The bread is a lovely seeded Italian roll and quite fresh. We also had Caesar salad with grilled scallopine chicken. Wow, was that chicken good. A great addition to the salad which has some flavorful homemade croutons. They serve garlic bread with your meal. Don't get me wrong, I love a buttery piece of bread, but this was a little too greasy. Overall, quite happy with the meal.

Just come back from here, We loved this place, first night in new york and saw it mentioned in time out. Loved the garlic bread, meatball parm, and the ice cream cake was flippin amazing, better than any ice cream we had in italy. Its in a pretty funky venue too.

I was quite excited to visit Parm after hearing rave reviews. At the end of the meal, however, I was left disappointed. We ordered the meatballs and arugula salad as appetizers, but they came out at the same time as our entrees. Four of us were seated at two tiny tables, so we barely had room to maneuver with all of the plates and glasses. The meatballs were lukewarm, but flavorful. The arugula salad was a generous serving and was nothing to write home about. I had the chicken parm platter with the accompaniment of spicy rotini. The chicken parm was simply average, there is no other way to describe it. The breading was on the heavier side, so it was a dense crust rather than a light, flaky crust. The spicy rotini pasta was good, and surprisingly spicy. Of note, the Sangiovese wine was actually very nice. Our waiter was friendly and attentive throughout the meal. All in all, if you're going here for chicken parm there are most definitely other places in NYC that will do it better. But if you're stopping in for a quick lunch or dinner, this is a decent bet.

Ate at Parm on the upper West Side. Portions were lunch size portions for dinner. Food was adequate nothing spectacular. Main server was snotty and made us feel like he was put out when we asked for bread. So many other restaurants, I wouldn't waste my money going back.

Happy we found this spot. Bread makes the sandwich and Parm uses Parisi bread from around the corner. The only really good Italian old world bread bakery left in Manhattan. Sandwiches are made to order. We had the chicken parm and the fried chicken cutlet heros. Both were fresh tastey and well made. The place is a very tight with not so comfortable chairs...but for a quick bite this place is great.

I was there with my friend and decided to dine here. We tried their famous pink sauce pasta -Rigatoni Carbone and garlic bread. Pasta - it was good, as per the expectations... The garlic bread was one of the best we have tried so far. It was warm and crispy. Had sesame seeds on top which added a nice taste. Service was quick and courteous. Ambiance was cool

I've had this restaurant on my radar the last few times we went to NYC, and last month finally got the chance to try it out. The decor is very retro but the food isn't - a nice update to classic Italian fare. It seems like every dish gets an extra wallop of cheese, so not for the lactose-intolerant. Yummy sandwiches, if a bit overpriced. Great for sharing: I had the veal parm, the boyfriend had a meatball parm, with different sides, so we got to try more of the menu. Garlic bread was an amazing starter. Overall, a neat little joint if you want to try Little Italy but crave something a little different.

The menu is short but the food makes up for it. My family of 4 stopped in for lunch and did not have any problems. We saw Buffalo Cucumbers on the menu, never heard of that so we tried them out. [See pic of the empty bowl]. These are a must try! We all had some variation of the Chicken Parm and we were all licking our fingers clean. Stayed for the S'More ice cream cake, that didn't last long either but I managed to get a pic before my kids dove in. I read some reviews on the poor service, then you should speak up. They're busy... We did not have any problems. Small place (well... NYC...), be patient, its a quick turn around. Next time we're in the are, we'll stop in again.

The food is fresh and very good, menu is limited therefore allowing for limited items to be top notch. I love their chicken parm. It is casual dining - place has many tables therefore don't expect an intimate dining experience - maybe ask for a booth? Place is located in Upper West Side close to Central Park ideal for stroll to burn off calories.

Enjoyed parm heroes and salad at the counter for lunch in this retro-feeling, small spot but the quasi-indifferent service and the high prices, even for tasty sandwiches, caused me to leave thinking that next time I would prefer to eat at an independent italian sandwich joint for genuine and tasty food served without the underlying attitude. I would give Parm a higher score for good good but I'm averaging down due to lack of value.

We went to Parm early on a Wednesday night. The restaurant was almost empty, but that doesn’t mean any extra care from the staff. At least five long minutes pass by before our server finally bestows us a visit, irked at being roused from his station by something as as foreign, such as the arrival of guests seated at one of his tables. Another long 5 mins go by before seeing him again. A gentle wave by us acknowledged by a roll of his eyes, a huff and a look of how dare we bother him to actually expect him to come over and do his job. We put it down to, oh well. Let’s just put the last 15 wasted minutes behind us, order and have an enjoyable dinner. We place our drinks order. Another 15 minutes pass by. No server. No drinks. We never saw either again. Lost like a rainy day at Disney. Perhaps a mixed blessing if ever there were one. We asked other staff members if anyone knew what happened to our server and drinks order. They were as mystified as we were. After a painfully long wasted half an hour or more, we all decided to leave the restaurant. The mystery of the disappearing Parm server and drinks order will forever remain unsolved. Stay away. You work hard for your money. Parm clearly doesn’t want it and frankly doesn’t deserve it. There are too many other good restaurants out there who do.

Baked ziti had the best tasting ricotta cheese I have ever experienced, the meatballs were magnificent, the cocktails were delicious, the prices affordable, and truly wonderful outdoor dining.

Whenever we are in the area, we usually go straight to the first pizzeria in the country circa 1905, but we had just been there, so we decided to go to Parm for dinner. It's a pretty tiny place, a row of stools at the bar/counter and a small section of two top tables. It's an elbow to elbow kind of place. The single bathroom is clean, but tinier than an airplane bathroom! We were seated immediately, there was no crowd at 6pm. Service was friendly and the food came very quickly. We tried the Chicken Parmigiana with spicy pasta ($19) and the Eggplant Parmigiana with spicy pasta ($19). We thought the portion sizes were decent, the food was tasty and filling. The pasta today was fusilli and the "spicy" is a Fra diavolo cream sauce that had a kick to it. We enjoyed our visit and would return.

Delicious every time! Tastes just like the food stands at a Jersey Shore boardwalk. The wine list needs a refresh, though.

Stopped at Parm for lunch based on a recommendation from a tour guide. Glad I did. I had the meatball Parm. Great portion and it tastes amazing.

Really disappointing to see such a stripped-back menu in the Mulberry St shop, some of the best items on the menu are no longer being served and it's such a shame! The quality and taste is also not what it used to be, used to be a regular at Parm but feeling like it's now not worth the prices, which are a bit steep given it's now basically just a sandwich shop... Sad times.

walk in off the street for lunch, no reservation. Small menu but good quality sandwiches. We had the turkey club. It was a really good sandwich, in a nice small italian cafe. very quick service.

This is not Italian food, it is Italian American food. This place does it very well, and better than the older joints in the city, and at a fair price.

The "Parm" on Mulberry is pretty small. There is a long counter and tables in the rear that are practically on each other. The guy behind the counter was very friendly and welcomed everyone as they came in. We had the chicken and eggplant on a roll and it was a large serving. I thought it could have been hotter and the sauce less sweet. I wouldn't go back.

So the adults can get a stiff drink and/or a cold beer and the kids can get a sandwich, salad, or plate of Italian classics like eggplant parm, chicken parm, meatballs, etc. etc. Been here 3 times and always like it. Have a huge preference to sitting at the from counter as opposed to the back room. Very different experience for us. Solid cocktail list and solid bartenders with sass.

Great food without the fanfare. It was nice to eat some wholesome, good quality food, it was what I expected from this group. My friend and I shared some appetizers, they were all very tasty. The service was great. All in all a very enjoyable meal.

Just returned from this amazing little place, having spent nearly all day touring Liberty and Ellis Island. We have been in New York for 6 days, and this was the best place we have been to. Really authentic and friendly, service extremely warm and welcoming, and the food was delightful. All the staff made us so welcome and Frank made sure we got to try dishes that we normally wouldn't order( and so glad he let us try them...mozzarella sticks and cannoli) just scrumptious. We had the pizza bites and caesar salad to start , and I had the vodka rigatoni, we also took advantage of the happy hour, and we sat by the bar which was a lovely atmosphere. We felt really at home. We are from England, and we are going home in a couple of days, however , this is by far the best food we have had all holiday. I didn't realise it was a chain. It certainly did not feel like one. We have some friends who are coming over in May, and I intend to recommend this place to them, and if we return , this will definitely be on our list to visit again. Thank you to Frank and all the staff , for a truly lovely afternoon. We would've loved to have stayed longer, but we had to book a night tour to see the city lights. Keep ùp the great work 👍🤌🤌🤌

Went here for some lunch with the family on a recent trip, the food is average, overpriced and bland. I wouldn't recommend this place, chick parm was chewy, poor quality meat used, try other deli's with better selection

Like many others have said, this place has completely fallen apart. It used to be a charming space but now feels corporate, and frankly the staff is rude. The food is not nearly what it used to be, although still decent. The hosts and managers are completely dismissive of the simplest inquiry or clarification, even with a reservation. To boot, I won’t even order from here anymore. They quote 20-30 minutes and are still preparing the order an hour later with no updates. If you call no one picks up, seamless couldn’t even get through to them and I had to cancel my most recent order after 90 minutes.

I find the sandwiches here to be overrated and very heavy. The baked ziti was so heavy it gave me a stomachache. Yet this is a big sandwich destination in Soho and there are people that swear by their sandwiches.

We stopped in here for a glass of wine and to sit at the bar. The staff was great, and gave us great suggestions on other places to stop and visit. (We were at the PARM on Columbus Ave)

My wife and I ate here on the first night of our most recent visit to NYC. It was great. Quite a small place, very busy. Mozzarella sticks to start were really good. Chicken parm, and meatball parm, we both stunningly good. Simple but brilliantly done. The only downside to our visit: the couple at the next table breaking off their engagement !!

We went to the Upper West Side location and all four of us got the chicken parm. I got it with the spicy sauce (listed on their menu) and my family all had it with the marinara sauce. Both were delicious! No complaints whatsoever. The service was great and we were all satisfied. The fresh, homemade mozzarella on top to the flavorful sauce, to the breaded chicken was perfect. I would definitely go back here! PS - The rotini was cooked al dente - how i like it and it was very good.

We found Parm by accident after exploring Central Park and we loved it! Had the chopped salad....so good with the honey roasted peanuts and garbanzo beans! We also had the eggplant parmesan and it was one of the best I've had...layers and layers of yummy house made mozzarella and eggplant with delicious sauce! We felt lucky to find it and we'll go back when we visit NYC again.

After visiting this restaurant in the summer, I was excited to bring my husband back while we were in town again. I think it was a little less amazing the second time around, but still quite good. There are two types of rolls offered and I got the larger one this time. I felt like the texture felt a little bit too crusty for my preference, so I regretted not getting the smaller softer bun. And this time, we went at lunch time and found the dining room area really packed. It was a bit too close for comfort. I'd still go back again for the tasty food.

No frills Italian pizza place vibes with a front bar. Met a girlfriend after work to catch up. $6 house wine at the bar - was OK. My friend got the eggplant parm roll ($10) - it was a perfect size for a meal. I got the eggplant parm hero ($14) Wish it was a little longer and thinner. Was very short and fat - so the food spills out. But it's SO good. I saved the second half for later....but I'm. It sure how long it will last 🤤

Ya know…. As a New Yorker you see this a lot: trendy restaurant with gimmick has grand opening, gets lots of buzz, people line up, buzz wears off, you go try it, find that the food is average and over-priced. With that said, our experience wasn’t entirely unpleasant. We ordered the chicken parm of course. The food was decent. But when you over-pay for average food it leaves a bad taste in your mouth. This restaurant is in Little Italy! Who are we kidding? I wouldn’t bother recommending this to anyone (especially not with La Mela available right down the block). Finding good Italian food in nYc is like shooting fish in a barrel. Why would I come here again? (or in other words…. > Its like the Emperor’s New Clothes: Why is everyone on TripAdvisor being so kind with their reviews of their bad experiences?? I wonder. This place is mediocre at best!) And for those who said they can’t get a better chicken parm sandwich anywhere > puhleeeeze check in with me. I can tell you lots of places. Seriously.

Looked for an Italian place for lunch and this place had good reviews. It’s so small with wobbly tables and chairs, sitting on top of people. The food saved it as the mozzarella sticks and chicken parm were very good. Quite expensive for the experience, would probably sit at the bar next time so we had more room.

Glad that a fried brought me here. Delicious. The simple menu will ensure that you get the good stuff. One good beer on draft and great cans too.

Parm on Mulberry Street has eagerly embraced the art of Italian-American treats. Chefs Torrisi and Carbone strive to serve the best interpretations of these classics. Take fried calamari for example. It's soft and delicate, light and fluffy texture of the fried rings at Parm. To kick up the heat index, the calamari is fried with Cubanelle and Italian long hot peppers and then sprinkled with salt and chopped parsley. The marinara (save it for the pizza knots) is good, but housemade Tabasco mayo sauce is the winner. The meatball parm here is so successful is because of its structural integrity (just like the Saratoga Club!) The ball is flattened (like a burger patty) to prevent any messy slippage. The meat is still a perfect pink and soft after getting a bath in a 180 degree CVap oven for forty minutes. This oven allows the temperature and texture of the meat to stay consistently soft instead of turning tough and dry. The mozzarella on top is made in-house (of course) and the sandwich roll is from Parisi Bakery, three minutes away from the restaurant. It’s sweet, it’s savory, and it melts in the mouth right from the first bite.

We stopped here for a bite of lunch whilst shopping in Soho. To be honest if I hadn't done a bit of research in advance and seen this was highly recommended in various guides, we might have walked past as it doesn't look much from the outside. But don't be fooled by appearances as the food is fabulous. As we were getting used to the generally huge food positions in the U.S. I had the smallest roll with turkey which was more than enough. Really delicious, fresh and tasty. My husband had the next size up with chicken. Again a winner. Service was friendly, cheerful and efficient. Happy to recommend

My wife and I hit Parm in NoLita after a visit to the 9/11 museum. It is a hip little spot on Mulberry Street with limited seating and menu. They have a selection of sandwiches in 3 sizes (think of them as small, medium, and large). We got a chicken parm and a meatball parm, each in the hero (medium) size. The chicken parm was mouthwatering and I ate every bite. The meatballs are made with a mix of veal and are a bit pink which made my wife nervous. They were tasty though and I ate some of what she didn't. The positives are that you can eat for less than $30 for 2 (without alcohol) and be filled. The negative is that if you aren't in the mood for an Italian sandwich you are probably out of luck here and there isn't much space.

Waited 20 minutes for a table as it was really busy around 2pm, as expected. Service was friendly enough and sat us at a table in the corner. Once I'd worked out what size of sandwich to have (picked right thankfully), I went for the chicken parm. Good food which suits lunch, but not ideal if in a rush.

Loved food and our waiter, Jose was great! Delicious food. Everything tasted homemade. We will be returning to this great find

Great chicken parmagianna sandwich in the area. Authentic food in a simple setting without the hoopla of tourists. Small menu of sandwiches but it's more about quality than quantity.

Loved sitting at the cozy bar of this small Italian cafe. Enjoyed the friendly service, cold beer, absolutely incredible baked clams, and outstanding chicken parm on a roll. This was a perfect and highly enjoyable experience from start to finish, and I highly recommend it. Well done!

We came in on a quit Sat.eve and we were "welcomed" by a very unfriendly big woman who seated us at a very noisy table. When we requested a quieter table she became almost aggressive and said mockingly: " well what do you consider less noisy" I replied: any other table. I had never experienced a more unfriendly host in my life. Food was ok.

We had the ricotta toast, the meatball parm platter with the baked ziti, the eggplant parm hero and the chicken parm roll. Delicious. Tomato sauce was excellent. Perfect meal after walking across the Brooklyn bridge. We were looking for Italian on mulberry and a nice gentleman struck up a conversation, flirting with my companions. Eventually he directed us to this gem. Will definitely return when we make it back to NYC. Thanks Arthur(if that truly was your name).

The chicken parm sandwich is the best I have ever had. The mozzarella sticks where a great starter. The service and attitude of the staff also make this tiny place a jem. Loved it

Stopped in for lunch. I ordered the chicken parm platter which was a lunch portion of chicken Parmesan and a side salad. I also had buffalo cucumbers. The chicken parm was good, the salad and cucumbers were fine, nothing amazing. It seemed pricy for what it was. The service was fantastic, servers were friendly and the food prompt. There is a bar towards the front and a few small tables in the back.

The baked ziti was divine! We went on a cold, rainy night. The restaurant was warm and the food hit the spot. Two of us had the baked ziti, which was served on top of a simple marinara and topped with fresh ricotta and basil. The other member of our party got the special which was a fancy named patty melt which she enjoyed. Hers came with these smashed baked/fried potatoes which were well seasoned and served with some kind of Tabasco concoction which was yum! The only complaint was the seating was a little cramped, and the 16 year old with us thought the music was too loud. That's how I like Ghetto Superstar to be played, but what do us old people know?

Had a chicken parm hoagie, have not had a better one anywhere. Go get one, what are you waiting for?

Having visited out daughter in NYC over the years we have enjoyed Parm for their overall quality. The bread is outstanding, and you can't have a great sandwich without great bread. The marinara sauce is light, fresh, flavorful and not overdone on the various parm sandwiches. The mozzarella, from what I have learned, is produced in-house, and is terrific. That being said, although the freshness, overall quality and taste was every bit what we have experienced before, one thing we missed was that for some reason the sausage & peppers and egg and potato choices were removed from the menu some time ago. For the occasional out of town visitor like us, who really looked forward to ordering several different items on each visit, we were surprised when our waiter informed us of this. In fact, he said that he often hears similar sentiments from patrons who miss the sausage just like us. Another minor gripe--we love their lightly battered and flavorful fried calamari. Again, it's been a couple of years, but now there is a little less calamari and the basket is made full by a combination of some delicious green peppers. They provide mild heat and are fine...but, I'd just much rather have more calamari! Yes, as others have commented, the prices are a tad high, but it is NYC and Soho, and the quality is still there.

My daughter and I attempted to eat here. We have a policy of never eating in a restaurant that is not an "A". This restaurant had a "grade pending" New York State health department rating. When I asked the manager what was the grade before the grade pending I was told "I have no idea". I looked it up on my smart phone and found out it was a "C"because of live mice in the food area. This was absolutely unacceptable to my daughter and myself and when we found out we decided not to eat here. It is your choice where you eat or not and to us it was important to eat in a restaurant with an "A" rating.

Parm is one of my favorites on the west side and this location in Nolita is so much nicer with the same great food. It’s a small restaurant with a cool chill vibe. There are tables in the back and seating at the bar. Food at Parm is seriously good - I dream of the Rigatoni Carbone. The dish that made Carbone famous. The Al dente rigatoni is tossed in a spicy vodka sauce. It is delicious and a solid choice. Arugula - a nice salad with arugula and topped with a fig vinaigrette and fresh Parmesan cheese. Great service, even though they were quite busy. So happy I found this location

Good food, great service. Small restaurant atmosphere. Please give this review and photos a helpful vote.

This is one of my favorite lunch joints in NYC. It's a bit more "off the beaten path" than other shops on Mulberry, giving you time to appreciate New York away from the chaos of Times Square. The shop is adorably kitschy and cozy. If you've never been, order the Chicken Parm, the Baked Ziti, and the Ice Cream Cake. "How could I possible eat this much?" you may ask. SHARE!!! I went with two other people, and we ordered one of each. It was enough to taste everything without ending up feeling like a balloon. Throw in a bottle of wine, and you have a perfect lunch!

We went here for lunch after seeing some good reviews for this place and we were not disappointed. Both of us got the chicken parm, I got the bread and my partner got the pasta. Go here!!

Visited on a Sunday afternoon about 3pm. Not very busy and given a table immediately. Ordered our food, starter arrived but had to ask for knives and forks. Drinks arrived- no lime in the Corona and the stingiest glass of red wine I have ever had, especially at $12 a glass! Meatballs to start were delicious as were the mains (Chinese ribs and penne scampi) Can't fault the food but no atmosphere staff did not seem heat interested. Not cheap at $100 for the above, no coffee or desserts.

My wife and I went to Parm for dinner. It cost us $75 for an order of mozzarella sticks, two cokes, and two Chicken Parm dinners. Chicken Parm was just ok and the pasta wasn’t that good. Definitely not worth $75! I was surprised because this place had decent reviews. The bar area was nearby and very loud. With all the choices around I’d try something else.

So great food! No wonder it is #2 on food here!! So so so so so so good!!! Had the meatball parm sandwich! So good! Very great place to eat if you go!

This is a very small place to have a chicken Parm sandwich. The have a varity of other things on the menu however this hot sandwich is great. The chicken cutlet is cooked perfectly with a very palpable sauce not to hot or spicey with fresh cheese melted on fresh soft sub roll.

We read about this restaurant and had to try it out. They had Parmesan everything. The portions were large. The pricing was to be expected for New York. The food was excellent. We had the park chicken and Parma meatball sandwiches. The fries had garlic and Parmesan on them. One of my teenage boys said he did not want to put down the sandwich because it was so good. We had already paid the bill and the manager came by and reminded us of the cake that we saw in the review so we ordered one. It was wonderful and topped off our experience. We would highly recommend this restaurant.

Two sizes - 10 inch or sub size - three main sandwiches - meatballs - chicken or eggplant parm. Very gold / fresh miss and basil / tender meatballs. Great sauce. Small with old fashioned counter that seats about 10 plus about 6 small tables. Tiniest bathroom ever. Felt a little like Buddy the elf. Very good lunch.

Went here on the basis of reviews and it was good. Struggled with menu but guy behind bar was very friendly and happy to explain. Opted for chicken parm and Italian fries. The chicken parm was nice I wouldn't say amazing but to be fair I don't really have a lot to compare it to. The Italian fries on the other hand were so tasty. Bit pricey for what you get but no more than anywhere else in NYC.

Very good chain sandwich place. Stick with either the chicken or eggplant parm sandwich rather than the pasta. Although if you want the real deal italian sandwich go to Arthur Avenue in the Bronx.

Given the location we were expecting the prices but the decor is dated, looks like an old diner. Which caused me to be surprised by the higher prices. However the food was well worth the price! Don't tell my grandmother but it was some of the best chicken parm I have ever had!

Stopped in for lunch, sat at the counter after a short wait. Service was good, friendly, made you feel at home. The counter looks a bit like a 50’s eatery. The food was really fresh and flavorful. Not too heavy. The garlic bread was really good and toasty. Definitely recommend. The only negative was how tight and crowded the restaurant felt. Will return.

We were in the area and stopped here for a quick bite. We split a meatball and chicken parm sandwich. Both were delicious, but if a had to choose I would say the chicken was better. The server was friendly and the prices were reasonable. I would eat here again.

Was so excited to finally go here. I wanted to love it. It's a mixed bag. Had reservations and was seated immediately on Sunday night. There was a buzz to the restaurant but we sat in one of the front tables and the noise level was fine. Two of the dishes we wanted were not available - the fish and clams. Bummer. Our favorite was the fresh (and I mean fresh) mozzarella served with a few pieces of garlic bread. Worth going just for that. The entrees that we ordered were unremarkable. But, do not order a cappuccino- they make it with a nespresso machine. Save the money- go home and make it in your own nespresso machine.

This was on my short list for an afternoon lunch with my wife. We tend to enjoy eating at the bar so PARM was perfect. After several Aperol Spritzers enjoyed both raw clams and baked clams...followed by a Chicken Parmesan Hoagie and sides of corn salad and green bean salad. Two servers at bar were engaging, knowlegable and kind. One was a JMU DUKE!!! Food wasj stupid good. Will recommend it to all of my foodie friends.

PROS *Chicken Park sandwich was tasty. They used sesame seed bread which was different. *No wait for a table. CONS *My brother didn’t like his meatball parm and said it was too mushy. But he’s also a picky eater so who knows if it was actually bad.

Totally delicious. Small spot, great bar atmosphere. Food is amazing. Just go. You won't be disappointed.

Absolutely Awesome!!! Homemade cheese sticks , excellent calamari and a chicken parm sandwich to die for . Topped of with amazing homemade ice cream and awesome service this place is a winner winner chicken parm for dinner !!!!!

Went there with two other people. I was trying to avoid the bread and ordered the eggplant as a platter (came with a salad). It was good but the others I was with had ordered sandwiches and I knew there meals were better. If you are watching your carbs then you might as well not go since most everything is served on a roll but I am sure it is worth the indulgence. The portions are not huge and we were glad we had ordered and extra item (just to taste). It seems like their meatball Parmesan sandwhich is their hit, so have at least someone in your party order it so everyone can take a bite.

This place is as Italian as my Russian grandmother.Pretty waitresses, friendly service, but my lunchtime pasta with a few tiny clams was disappointing.Spicy and nondescript. The story I gleaned is that the younger crowd will be attracted in the evening, don't know why.I compare the thrill of this venue as the same as when you ordered food in a Chinese restaurant in the Catskill mountains. You got what you deserved.
My old block
I lived on this block for 15 years so every time i am back in NYC i take a walk and Parm is part of the reason for this stroll. If you want a great Parm look no further. I tend to go late afternoon, sit at the at the bar and order and chicken parm and a beer. Always leave happy. (and they have wifi:) ...
