Terrible, horrible service. We had two waitresses making a fuss about our group not arriving together. Had to wait for a long time at the door for them to let me in. The friend who came after had to wait so long, he was about to leave. After that, the service just got worse, they were so rude, practically threw the menus at our faces. I stood up closer to the bar, because I couldn’t read the menu well since it was dark at our table and my phone was out of charge. They told me “I couldn’t stand up”! I mean! Like I’m a child!… Just so many things wrong with the service. Really not worth the fuss. We ended up finishing our drink and RUNNING To the place next door, which is actually way cooler and friendlier!!! (Can’t remember the name!) Piece of advice, just skip it and go straight to the bar next door.

No comment. That's how it should be. No one has reviewed it for a good reason and I'm not going to start now.

Really cool place located inside a coffee shop. The drinks are pretty expensive so be prepared but they have some really cool cocktails.

The entrance through a (closed) coffee shop sets the speakeasy tone of the room. The location in a building that Tesla once used is the inspiration for the Telsa-themed cocktail names. We made a reservation and included 3 cocktails each and a small charcuterie plate. Every cocktail was outstanding! Unusual ingredients, many made at the bar, and precise construction was the rule for each drink. The staff were clearly focused on making our experience as enjoyable as possible.

Great cocktails! They had a menu with their inventions which was creative and different. I had the JJ Astor off the new menu and the Into the Realm which was a great take on a white Negroni. Would definitely go back!!

Wonderful speakeasy that didn't make us wait long at all to get in. Went on a Friday night and expected a long wait but got in after 15 minutes. My wife and I absolutely loved the top quality drinks and intimate setting. My "Eclectic Messiah" drink was honestly one of the best drinks I've ever had, and my liver can attest that I've had my fair share of beverages. If you go, don't leave before they seat you, it's absolutely well worth it!

Fantastic little speak easy bar behind the coffee shop, with probably the best thought out cocktail menu I have ever seen in my life. All inspired by Nikolai Tesla having pioneered the radio wave in the building above. The bartender was very good and extremely knowledgeable, asking me questions on my likes and dislikes and recommending what was, probably one of the best cocktails I’ve ever had. Many thanks, will sure be back if I am ever in NY again.

Although we had to wait in line for 45 minutes it was well worth the wait. Not only were the drinks delicious, complex without being muddy or fussy, the service was excellent. The hostess, Victoria was an absolute gem. She treated us as if we were truly special but at the same time without any pretentiousness. The servers, Ginger (who is usually behind the stick) and Jodi, were not only on their game but really knowledgeable about cocktails in general and certainly about the drinks being served. We loved it so much we went back the next night.
Speakeasy vibes.
Found this little gem when researching speakeasies in NYC. It’s a quaint little bar with a lovely picture menu and excellent drinks. We have a few small bites and a few libations! The building has some history - you can read about it in the menu’s appendix. Cheers! Enjoy it!
