Staff was friendly but we had incredibly slow and inattentive service. Restaurant was half empty. Food was average. Price was expensive for burgers.

Food was fine, service not great

By MJNeville2019 |

Food was fine, service not great. We asked for Diet Coke, it tasted funny. Told it was a local brand - ick! Should have told us when we ordered! Brought wrong food, 10 minutes to correct. Put wrong food on our bill in addition to correct order. Not impressed with service.

Best everything!!! Must visit!!!

By DIONNE M |

Seriously. This was the best place I’ve been to In New York. I spent hours there, after only intending to stop for one drink before returning to shopping. The staff were friendly and our oyster specialists was lovely. The oyster selection is second to none. I want to thank - manager Jimmy & Oyster specialist Eddie for a great time. Oh returned two nights later to have an even better time and select the oysters I loved best. I feel I’m more an expert on east & west coast oysters. See you soon - and I can’t wait.

Great food with fantastic service

By markdugmore |

My wife and I visited this restaurant when looking for a quick bite to eat before our show at the New Amsterdam Theatre. After explaining to the guy on the door that we didn't have much time before the start of the show, we were seated immediately and our food was served in next to no time. Our waitress (Froggy) was very friendly and couldn't have been more helpful. The food was delicious and the desert recommended by Froggy topped off a lovely pre-show meal. We'll definitly be using this restaurant again on our next visit to New York.

Superb

This bar/restaurant was superb. Highly recommended. Great atmosphere. Delicious oysters and Pierre on oyster bar was very knowledge and friendly. Greig (the proprietor) was very welcoming and hospitable . Will definitely be back again. Fraser family from Scotland .

Nice Casual Restaurant Close to the PA Bus Terminal

By David P |

First time visit to Patrick's. Stopped by after a Broadway matinee. Passed it on the way from the PA Bus Terminal to the theater. Friendly staff including the bartender. Limited menu but something for everyone. I started with the Manhattan Clam Chowder which was delicious. For my entree I tried the Crab Cakes. I got three delicious crab cakes. My one minor grumble is that the entrees do not come with any sides so I had to order some sweet potato fries which were excellent. For dessert I tried the Pecan Pie Sundae which was also good. I will definitely try Patrick's again on another NYC trip.

If you haven’t been yet you definitely should go!

First and foremost, please forgive the delayed review, this is long overdue and I’m sorry it’s taken so long to do. After taking a 2.5 hour, uptown bus tour of New York City, albeit a great tour, it was a bit chilly, due to heavy traffic our bus stopped close to Patrick’s instead of around the corner back at our hotel. Lucky us!!! And so begins our review of this gem of a restaurant, or if you prefer, pub. Call it what you want it was a wonderful establishment to find and it goes without saying we will be back!! Our server, Frida, was great, she was so friendly and instantly made us feel welcome! A perfect fit for such a warm and inviting place. Lucky us again we arrived during happy hour, drinks specials are excellent as are the food specials but overall the general prices on the menu are extremely reasonable. We started with the clam chowder, our mouth is actually watering just thinking about it now, it was SO good! We then tried the shrimp cocktail, calamari and wings, all equally as great! We would have loved to try the oysters, which we were quick to realize, is one of their specialties, however sadly we were full and rapidly running out of time as we had another commitment later that evening, had we not, we could have easily stayed several more hours. It goes without saying that we will be going back on our next trip to New York, but it is without hesitation we would recommend this gem of an establishment!

Great Place

By brokenpedro |

Visited here whilst in NY from the UK. Great service an we both had a lovely meal, waiters kept the drinks flowing and we had a great time, definitely worth a visit if your in town an reasonably priced also.

The menu doesn’t match expectations

By Vera V |

We had asked for sandwich , the bread it was overcooked and not tasty we had complaint and deduct 50% from bill . however being in NYC are expected high quality. i will not recommend to order Reuben sandwich its waste of money

Great food and drink.

Believed the Reviews

By Kathleen R |

The service was excellent and the atmosphere was wonderful. The food was borderline OK. Not sure what the other people who wrote reviews had to eat. I chose the fish and chip because it was an Irish place. I wish I didn’t. Desert was good.

Disappointed

By Dina B |

The ambiance was great but the food was mediocre and the service was very poor, but you can't beat the location in the theatre district.

Reviews were spot on!

By OB&JIM |

After reading the reviews we headed to Patrick’s with our group (4-adults&4-kids) and were greeted by our server and seated immediately. The service was outstanding from the server to the food runners and bussers. The owner and manger made several visits beginning with welcoming us to Patrick’s and making suggestions for food and drink and periodically checking in with our party. The food was delicious and not too pricey considering it’s the heart of Times Square, totally NOT a tourist trap! Our party sampled a bit of everything from raw bar to burgers, chicken parm, seared tuna, fish and chips and awesome WINGS AND MOZZARELLA STICKS (needed To order seconds for both) and we couldn’t believe it when we saw that Patrick’s serves COTTAGE FRIES...yum! We ended the night with the Irish Car Bomb dessert! Added bonus: the playlist was great. We live in the city and will definitely return to Patrick’s !

meal before show

By Marion N |

Came here with family before going to see Come From Away. Although the meal was good and we went in during Happy Hour, and our server was typical New Yorker, droll but helpful too. But we were disappointed in the Clam Chowder, having had this before at other venues, it wasn't the usual creamy, clam chowder, it was more like minestrone, and I was disappointed as it was my husbands first clam chowder. I liked the fries, they looked like crisps at first, but then I realized they were fries, and they were nice.

Great food and great service - quality New York food and ale

By jnoble100 |

A random find for us but great food and service. I don't like oysters but had to have one and it was "ok" (but that's just me). Chicken wings were amazing. All delicious food. Definitely a good place to go for dinner.

Friendly Bar

By BeaglesC |

Great find, friendly bar staff, cheap drinks especially the happy hour between 3-6. Ate here one night food was awsome the Oysters out of this world. The barman got us a shoot before we headed back to UK top bloke.

Irish my lad!

By Usonian64 |

We were near times square looking gor a meal and spotted this across the street from Madame Toussauds. Old time feel to de or, a sassy waitress that got everything right. Great drinks (STRONG), delicious zucchini chips w marinara. An ample sized plate of fish and chips, and a burger done to order correctly. Good stuff ...... oh yeah,,,,, get the onion rings

Gooooood fooood!!!😍

New Restaurant - Worth a Visit

By Matt M |

This is a composite review of TWO visits in one day (that should tell you something). First visit was for lunch and second visit was for a drink/app. The location is great for people going to shows in the 42nd Street area and the space is very large so it's reasonable to get a seat. For lunch, I had a Greek salad that was extremely generous in its offerings along with a Manhattan clam chowder. Plenty of food in those two items to fill me up alongside a nice coffee. Later in the evening, I had a glass of house wine (okay) along with some sweet potato fries (very good). Service at the bar wasn't great with a lot of people standing around even without a huge crowd but it's a nice spot to check out.

Great Seafood

By Felix H |

We had the raw platter (6 clams and 12 oysters ), a prawn cocktail , a prawn and avocado salad and 2 Manhattan clam chowders . Together with 2 glasses of wine and an iced tea the bill came up to a total of $100 for 2 persons . The seafood was fresh ,the clam chowder was very good and the salad was huge . Good value for $.

We had fish and chips and chicken wings and fries

By Saffron |

Our fish and chicken wings were good, although we didn't care for the fries aka chips in the fish and chips. I also ordered a Coke, or what I thought was a Coca-Cola. After drinking it, it tasted flat or like there was something odd about it. The waitress wasn't surprised at all and said it is their own brand of soda. She took the drink off the bill. Wait staff is good.

A must when on Broadway!

By Laurie S |

Excellent place for great drinks, food and conversation!! Bartenders are so personable and fun! Has a clean, comfortable atmosphere. Get the iced coffee drink- you won’t be disappointed! 👍👍👍👍👍

Great group option

By JDlovestoviajar |

I had group of 19 tourists Visiting from South America and we were looking for a great American restaurant in the middle of times Square that wasn’t a chain. Patrick’s was perfect! They have high-end items for foodies and just great burgers and wings for those looking for a true American experience!! But what really stands out is how they went above and beyond to make sure my group was serviced Even going as far as offering something that wasn’t on the menu for one of my ladies who is feeling a little sick. If you’re traveling to time square with friends or kids or a big group I would definitely recommend!! You’re alone in town on business and want To a decent meal at a bar that’s not going to break the bank I would also recommend

Wedding Anniversary Trip

By Neil D |

Came in after The Ride (which was great fun) the drinks were reasonably priced and the place had a good atmosphere. We have since been back to eat twice and the food was really tasty and hot. Even tried oysters (although I'm not sure what all the fuss about oysters is...) It was happy hour and as promised all drinks were 1/2 peice. The waiting staff were great and if you are anywhere near 42nd Street west, I would definitely recommend this place.

Oustanding!

By Jacky E |

3 cousins in NY for a weekend. Ate at Patrick's on our last night. Loved everything about it. Friendly staff, great food. I can recommend the Crab Cakes and the Pecan Pie and Ice Cream. Our server was Gerry, good fun and informative about the food. Special mention to Bill.

Sunkie

By Danny O |

This place was ridiculously expensive for food serving and awful! $32.00 steak with no sides or bread. Burger meat tasted fatty and I had to ask for lettuce and tomato. Spend a good bit of money and left disappointed. Would bypass this restaurant and look for another one to eat at.

3 or 4 stars for the cocktails

By Alan304 |

The food is Times Square tourist fare. The onion rings were like small donuts - mostly batter. The Reuben sandwich had grilled cabbage instead of sauerkraut. When we asked for sauerkraut, a dish of more grilled cabbage appeared. The upstairs dining room is large and comfortable.

Try the hypocrite

By Richard D |

Just stumbled in to Patrick’s after taking a bus tour. Found it delightful Shannon our server was very attentive and pleasant I had the Reuben and onion rings very good my wife had The Hypocrite outstanding very creative

Very good food and service

By Rowdy2013 |

My wife and I ate lunch here. We split a burger and fries. The burger was very good and cooked perfectly. The fries were like thick potato chips and very plentiful. Our waitress was very helpful and the service was very timely.

Amazing wait staff

By Jeanne D |

The Concierge recommended this place for lunch within walking distance from the hotel. I wasnt very impressed at first with either the ambiance or the menu..THEN our fabulous waitress Jordan appeared and she changed my mood very quickly. She was friendly, funny and quite the server. We ordered zucchini chips as an appetizer. Delicious but not cooked enough. So we ordered more and the second time they were perfect. The reuben was tasty and big enough to split with someone. Overall experience was positive but the highlight was Jordan. Your establishment should be very proud to have her on your team. She made our day!

Disgusted

By stillal |

ordered 2 lava cake desserts upon checking the bill it was described as Irish car bomb. What next maybe twin tower ice with airplanes sticking out of the side. Would never set foot in such a low down place again. They don’t even have the nerve to put it on the menu

Very good burgers

By TheTraveler |

Went a Saturday night 6pm in May. Only 5 min wait. Great service, great burgers, good fries, decent drinks. Salad was a waste of $6. Not good. Very Expensive but its on Times Square so expected that.

New place worth visiting

By Frank F |

We were on our annual visit to NYC and heard of a new restaurant on 42nd St named Patrick's. As it was close to our hotel we checked it out and were very happy with the meal, service and atmosphere. We had a salad with ground beef and chicken parm. Both were very good. And our waitress Coco was very pleasant and courteous.

Play Time

By Nance0 |

Went to the city with a friend. We decided to try Patrick’s because it was Good Friday and wanted seafood. When we entered the restaurant it has a dark atmosphere with walls all painted black. I’m not a fan of everything being too dark. We sat upstairs by the large window. Service was good. Food was delicious. I had the tuna steak and my friend had the fish and chips. By the time we left it was rather noisy because a large group came in and flooded the back part of the restaurant. I would go again if I’m ever in the area. Suggest you sit upstairs by the window.

Really friendly

By leesak2016 |

Really friendly, helpful staff who bent over backwards as we were with my elderly mother in a wheelchair. Food was good, however there was a large amount. The only complaint I would have was the volume on the music, it was too loud, uncomfortable to hold a conversation.

Great food

By 213Jan50 |

Lovely atmosphere and staff. We had a couple of drinks during Happy Hour and then had our evening meal. Food was delicious and reasonably priced. Went in again a couple of days later and enjoyed it all over again.

Great place to eat before a show, or anytime!

By bobboles |

Living in NYC during the summer, we are always on the lookout for a relatively fast and moderately priced restaurant to visit before a show. We have been to all types of places with varying menus. Our expectations in the greater Times Square area are never really that high and we are always pleasantly surprised when one place stands out from the crowd. Patrick's is one of these places. I admit, after reading many of the reviews, I was a bit skeptical, as there were some not so flattering experiences. We always try to give the benefit of the doubt, especially in New York where competition is keen, and when the restaurant is still fairly new (they opened in January, I believe). We began with the hot pretzels appetizer. Clearly outstanding, and (by far) the best we have ever had. Hot and crusty with soft insides, served with a melted cheese dip. Wow. We followed up with Greek Hypocrites (Lamb burgers without the buns, melted feta and a rustic Greek salad), perfectly cooked (medium rare) and fresh tomatoes, cucumbers and peppers. All in all, a terrific experience!

Home from home.

By Elaine |

Called in out of rain. Staff very friendly. Music not too loud. Son got a Guinness and not very nice.

Great place for quick food and service.

By Homesec |

Like most places like this in the heart of NY. Having jumped off and on tour buses. Walked miles and then suddenly you need a beer and something to eat. You need to take a break somewhere and need quick service and a decent lunch. Not too noisy so that you can't plan your next place to go. Well, this place is ideal.

Great meal

By Julie G |

We had a great meal and service at Patrick’s. Tried my first oyster, really nice and fresh The calamari was fantastic as were our burgers. Would highly recommend

surprisingly good food.

By Asmie704 |

I was surprised that it wasn't reviewed more often, but maybe it's new. The owner came around hoping we'd had a good experience. We did. We also got to the theater on time.

Awesome

By Explorer505387 |

Fabulous dinner especially the kindness of Jimmy the manager to help celebrate a 50th birthday party. Thanks Addie for great service. Portions are large Sides should be shared.

Best Casual Restaurant

By Joseph C |

It’s always a gamble trying out a new restaurant especially in a town the size of New York City. Fortunately we got lucky when walked into Patrick’s. We actually went there three times for drinks and appetizers. Happy hour is between 3:00 and 5:00 so it’s a good time to relax after a long day and drinks cheaper. Patrick’s is located across the street from our hotel, Times Square Hilton. It’s also locally owned and not part of a chain. The staff made us feel welcome and service was fast. The manager approached our table and spoke to us and even gave us his business card. Thanks for helping to make this a great trip for our family.

Valentine

By Adrian H |

Visiting NY for the first time. All restaurants was full on Valentine, only Patricks find it table for us. Very pleasant environment. Great service. Everything worked excellent!

Fabulous Menu.. way more than expected!

By MarkMGT |

Had a great time at Patrick's. sat upstairs w/ a view of 42nd Street. Like this spot as it gets you away a bit... Loved the tuna steak.... Was surprised at the prices given it's location. I thought very reasonable. Server was fun...

Disappointing

By Valeria_Caro |

We visited here for a late lunch, would not bother again, service was slow...food was average to say the least, I ordered the clam chowder which was more like a minestrone soup and the clams were like little lumps of rubber. As mentioned before, nothing comes with sides so you have to order them separately which makes this place on the expensive side. Fries were like potato crisps and the burger that my partner ordered was dry. Saving grace was the wait staff who were very polite and friendly otherwise this restaurant would have got one star.

Vegetables sold here.

By GillRoystonHertsUK |

We ate here on our last night in NYC. Great food, huge portions (what’s new for New York). Buffalo wings are blisteringly HOT 🥵, I had my sauce on the side & am for ever grateful to James our waiter for this suggestion. Rib eye steak to die for, roasted sprouts & great fries. If we were to ever return I think we would share a starter or go without.

Perfect bar with good food

By Mokiiina |

Perfect bar with good food and nice service. The atmosphere was due to the holidays with Christmas sleds and Santa Claus.

Great bar & restaurant with excellent service

By lahelsel |

We found this place to watch the Super Bowl. We had a selection of food to share and all was delicious and well sized. Wings, fries, Mac & Cheese and Avocado toast. Nice size pours on wine. Nice cocktail menu. I would recommend for a place for drinks and dinner. Also have traditional dishes like filet & chicken parm. Great service.

Decent Enough

By amw0410 |

Patrick's was our first lunch stop after arriving in New York. Really cool atmosphere, but everything else was just okay. The food was eh, overpriced, and they got our order wrong, but thankfully the server did his part and got it squared away. Good selection of local beers which is a plus. Overall...We found a couple other pubs that made it higher on our list of places to revisit.

Great Irish Pub

By Hassan |

Great place to go in Times Square! Personalised service, manager comes to check if everything is fine and waiters are professional. Great food, 5/5, would recommand for sure! :)

Hyped

By deskinsstephanie |

This restaurant didn’t live up to the reviews. I ordered oysters. It took over 30 minutes for my order to come and when it did they were small and just ok. My husband ordered the veggie plate. The vegetables included carrots, celery, peppers with a tiny dish of avocado dip with toast and that was it! Needless to say the menu is not great. I did not like the drinks either. Worst fall the service stank! I should note that the manager took the oysters off my bill but he never came to the table to acknowledge the problems with my order.

Recommend

By happytravels690 |

We visited here and it was really really good everything was perfect. But when we left the tip for the waiter (who was lovely by the way and we can not fault him for the service).. he clearly wasnt happy with what we left for him and he started swearing and muttering under his breath. I felt this was quite rude especially as we were sat right next to the cash register so I could hear everything he was saying. Other than this, I would recommend here for food because it is rather good :)

DISAPOINTED IN DINNER

By Jollyroger560 |

We attended for dinner on a Friday night. The place is on 2 levels near to the Westin Hotel a few blocks from Times Square. I was surprised that it was so quiet earring the time we visited. The service was quick and I ordered clam chowder. I was very disappointed in iy as it was more like minestrone soup than the chowder that I have previously had in the US. We then ordered fries with our main course. Crispy potato slices were served that were more like potato chips. We complained about these and they removed them from the bill. I was disappointed with the visit. I think that we expected better. We won't be returning.

Nice place close to the Times square

By Janos1315 |

Firstly we went to Hard Rock Cafè at Times Square but the waiting time was more than an hour. We started looking for an other option and fortunately we have found this place soon. We were seated immediately at a nice table with a view on the 42nd street and we could also watch some NFL games on Tv. Our server was really fast and helpful. We have chosen Irish Potato+leak soup and Turkey with cornbread stuffing as the Thanksgiving menu. The price was really fair, 24 usd. Dishes were really tasty. This restaurant is really good solution for a fast but tasty lunch or dinner during sightseeing. Prices are really fair.

Good food

By Angie632 |

We had a meal here last night after we read about it on internet , it was a great place to eat and not over priced , recommend the burger ! Next door to hotel as well so added bonus 🤣

New York trip of a lifetime

By Steven |

Visited Patrick’s bar on the way back from circle line boat trip, good food and drink and was made welcome by Jerry who served us well (look out for him and tip him well) and kept us very entertained.. all in all a very enjoyable visit... would go again.

Well worth the visit !

By glennsoe |

We were looking for something to eat before our movie and stumbled across the charming place - We both ordered hamburgers and I gotta say the burgers were among the best one's I tasted in quite some time.. The service was excellent and I will definetly recommend this place to others..

Good service, average food, New York prices!

By George-Pork |

My partner and I stopped here for brunch whilst visiting New York. The service was very good but the food (we had a smoled salmon bagel and eggs on toast) was just average. If you want to pay New York prices for food then there is better places to eat. Although i imagine it is probably a lively bar for drinking in or watching sports.

Good Times Square Restaurant

By ronco0807 |

Large space on two levels in the former Applebees restaurant. This is a much better restaurant than the Applebee's chain. Service was excellent from the host who seated us to our waiter. He was friendly, personable and professional. My dining companion was not very hungry so he had a very good "dirty" Martini and a Shrimp Cocktail. On the other hand, I was hungry and had the excellent Lamb Burger and a side of Sautéed Brussel Sprouts. I will definitely return.

Onion rings!

By Mike S |

We enjoyed our pretzels appetizer. The cheese dip made a great combo. Good portion for the price. My lamb burger was very good but the onion rings were delicious. The portion was not big enough for both of us despite what the waitress said. The sweet potato waffle fries were just ok. My wife liked her Patrick’s burger. Our waitress was very sweet.

Good Lobster Roll

By Richard A |

Stopped in for a drink & dinner about 11:30pm... it was last call. SK we could order was one drink & aam appetizer. Lobster roll was very good. Prices were high for the quality.

Very Good

By MHBL |

We stopped here for dinner after seeing a play. The food and service were both great, much better than the food at the hard rock cafe.

Good food and drink

By fostcumb |

Made to feel very welcome on entry and staff were very friendly, nice clean restraunt/bar and good choice of food which was lovely so we all had a great meal and a few drinks before leaving very happy.

Hidden gem!

By momx4plus |

LOVED our evening here! Jasmine (Froggy) was super-helpful about everything on the menu. She's the type of server who makes you feel right at home from the minute you walk in. Managers checked in on us multiple times. Newly remodeled and a secret apparently! Cleanest restrooms we saw in Manhattan. Portions are enormous.... Share! The menu is eclectic so don't let the Irish-sounding name or the oyster bar reference turn you away. Named after the owner's beloved dog, Patrick, whose picture was on the wall near our table. Oh, and ask how they developed their recipe for the yummy mozzarella sticks!

Best Find In New York

By Susie W |

We came upon this bar by chance. What a great find. All of the staff were so friendly and welcoming. The food was first class and plentiful from fresh oysters to fish and chips to steaks to die for. Nothing was too much trouble for any member of staff from Kazi Hossain, froggie, Eric, the tall waitress who's name escapes us and we are sorry. Great variety of drinks available

excellent family restaurant

By RandD16 |

Our family of 10 people recently enjoyed a pre-theater dinner at Patrick's. Service was friendly and excellent. Most meals were very good. The fish and chips, Patrick's burger, and lobster cobb salad were enjoyed.

Nice find in Times Square

By Trisha R |

We had a hard time finding non chain restaurants in Times Square so were pleased when we found Patrick's. Stopped in a couple times during the trip and service was excellent. We enjoyed the Fish and Chips and the Hypocrite - Burger and Wedge Salad was very good. They even have a real Happy Hour. Definitely a good find!!

GREAT & LOVE IT!

By Rosa Matos |

Everything was lovely, Food was great, the service fantastic... and the place is huge. My friends from Oklahoma were really happy.

Great food. Fast & Friendly service

By L0ve2Escape |

We were in hurry and they were very quick. Politely offered to charge our daughters phone. The Wedge salad with burger patty was unique and phenomenal! Everyone in family loved their meal too, especially fish & chips.

Terrible!

By Georgina T |

The menu is quite limited, food is bland, ordered chicken with fries but got what looked like potato slices not fries at all, ordered $6 salad which was so dry and shAbby looked like a week old, no dressing just curled up dad leaves. Sangria looked like water with a splash of god knows what alcohol certainly not red wine with fruit. If u want bland food don’t mind week old salad and veg then it’s fine.

Good Place for Lunch

By R-n-P_in_NC |

We ducked in just as it was starting to rain and we glad we did. Staff was attentive throughout and the menu gave us plenty to choose from.

Good food, nice service

By Ken L |

Had an early dinner here before a show. The food and service were both very good. It's a busy place. The drinks are pricey (it's on 42nd street). The zuchinni chips were really, really good! Will try to make these at home.

Disappointed and price not worth what you get

By Anna |

This restaurant was a disappointment... When I googled it, it said "$$" but it was definitely more expensive than that. Each dish had no sides, so if you ordered the burger you would have to order a side of fries at $5 - $7. Even the steaks had no side dishes, and with a price of $28-40, you should not have to add a side... There was not much on the menu, and the people of my party who ordered burgers were disappointed as they were boring and dry and tasteless. Would not recommend, as there are plenty of other restaurants in this area with much better food for a lesser price.

Dinner in Manhattan before the show with my wife

By 785jimwilson |

My wife and I stopped into Patrick's before going to a Broadway show. We found the atmosphere casual and inviting. Staff were great. Food was good as well. Great selection of oysters. The zuchinni chips were good too,

Okay Pub

By KatKealy |

Nothing special that we noticed about this bar, but the service was decent and the food was pretty good. There are tons of other places to try, but we'd go back if it were close to where we were heading.

Nice Bar in the Middle of Craziness

By Presto67 |

Stopped into Patrick’s prior to going to a movie across the street. Really good menu and the staff was super nice. They even had live music. If you are walking around Times Square and want a drink or a little something to eat, then Patrick’s is the place to go.

not the best for me

By Jeremy31Virgo |

I got a reservation here for just one reason, it was very close to the Lyric Theater for Harry Potter and there is a limited amount of time between parts to find some dinner. First, we were seated at the front window in the blazing sun so bright I couldn't even face the table. Then the corner table opened and we asked to be moved, no problem. We got water and mozzarella sticks to start, but the wait for our entrees was excessive. They said a party of 90 was upstairs and that was interfering with the cooking times. My wife's salad came with honey mustard on it which she will not eat, but nobody asked. A new salad was brought with ranch and a couple extra shrimp for her. Due to these delays, we could not risk staying for dessert even if we wanted it. As it turns out, they wanted to give us a dessert item for the troubles but took off our appetizer since we were unable to stay. The service was fine, though our waiter was gone and hard to find at times. I had a cheeseburger and added onion rings. The burger was greasy and made the bun soggy and the onion rings looked good but I only ate about half. I was fine at the time but after midnight I began feeling ill, I have now spent over 4 days sick and lost several pounds. My wife was fine but I couldn't look at food for days. I will not return here. $16 cheeseburger, $8 onion rings, $12 mozzarella sticks...one thing I can confirm is that inside the restaurant is way more quiet than Planet Hollywood or Hard Rock Cafe

Great bar in great location

By karenCFC |

Just back from a visit to NYC. Remembered this bar from last year. Really nice place. comfortable surroundings, staff are friendly and the service is good. Had a burger and inion rings which were lovely. Will definitely be back on next visit.

Incredible lobster rolls!

By Lpdollarsavr |

This restaurant was great. My daughter is in a wheelchair and they were easily able to accommodate. The service was outstanding. We really enjoyed the food. I had the lobster roll and it was better than any I have had while visiting Boston. The whole family enjoyed their meal. Highly recommend.

Dueling piano show at Patrick’s.

By seema60 |

We went for a dueling piano show brunch. It’s a big Irish pub and a small part was closed off upstairs for the live show. It was a lot of fun with unlimited mimosas and Bloody Marys. I had a scrambled eggs with vegetables. The ribeye and the lobster eggs Benedict were excellent. The show was fun with lots of interaction. They made us pay for every request which I thought was a bit excessive.

Dinner in Manhattan

By motorcar1 |

Had dinner in Patrick’s last evening. Their food is excellent, busy restaurant and bar near Time Square. Fish and chips 🍟 arsuperb

Cheap & Cheerful

By R&PTravel |

This is classic bar food territory but the prices are reasonable and for Manhattan the drinks are cheap. We went for burgers which don’t come served with fries which was a bit surprising but apart from that no complaints.

Great wings!

By Rowena S |

Loved the wings, good flavour at decent price. Had 2 really good old fashioned’s as well. Having sat at the bar, the guys seemed to know their cocktails! However, would suggest more people needed behind bar to keep up with service needed.

Awesome food and service! And a raw bar!!!

By DougLangway |

This place was great. We came between the Harry Potter shows and had the raw bar feast! We felt like kings and everyone in the place seemed like they were having a blast. Great fish and chips... the burger with the irish bacon looked good too. I’ll be back on my next Broadway night out!

Disappointed

By Ynyswenman |

Stopped here for an early dinner as we were staying locally. Food was OK but bland, drinks OK. Service was good but when we were given the check to pay the waiter (Jerry) he stood nearby watching us as we filled out the tip which made you feel under pressure to tip high. As soon as I had signed the check he was straight over checking what I had tipped. Would not eat here again due to the food and waiter experience.

Great Pre or Post Theater Restaurant.

By ronco0807 |

Large and lively restaurant in Times Square. The restaurant spans two floors. The service is professional and very friendly. The food is excellent. It is a great pre or post theater spot. I had an appetizer of PEI mussels. When they came it was enough for a meal in itself. Luckily my dining companion shared them with me. The broth was delicious. My dining partner ordered the classic burger and enjoyed it very much. I ordered the Lamb burger and a side of grilled Brussel Sprouts. Both were delicious. There is a long list of beers and my companion ordered the Five Borough Pilsner which was great. Given the quality of the food, prices were reasonable, especially considring we were in Times Square. This is a restaurant that I will definitely come back to.

Had already visited for drinks as our hotel was next door, decided on a evening meal. Food was great with great service from Gerry. Great surroundings, will be back when next in NY.

A Good Pub

By NFC_food_guy |

We stopped in Patrick’s for a bite with another couple. It was a pleasant pub with very good service and better than average food. We all had some type of seafood and we found the roasted salmon was very good. The PEI mussels were however unbelievably delicious. Prices were reasonable and the wait staff attentive.

Happy Hour/ Happy customers!

By donna G |

Stopped here after our bus tour of the city; arrived at 3 pm which was the beginning of Happy Hour. Ordered cocktails (which were great!) and food. The Hypocrite was awesome! A beef patty with a wedge salad and blue cheese crumbles! It was delicious! Our guys had cheeseburgers and said they were tasty! Our server was a very personable young lady named Lori that was smart, efficient and friendly! Great service, great food, great experience! We will be back!

Outstanding

Found this place while on vacation with my daughter, location fantastic, restaurant very clean and decorated to a high standard, staff and food were second to none, we enjoyed it so much we visited three times, food was out standing, my daughter would recommend the rib eye steak and salmon both extremely tasty and well cooked, I loved the fresh oyster bar best oysters I’ve ever eaten , we will definitely miss this place, thank you all for making us feel so welcome

Good Food - Lacks Ambiance

By Dennis P |

This restaurant is conveniently located close to Times Square. We stopped in for lunch prior to seeing a matinee show on Broadway. The food was good, especially the burgers, but pricey (location, I'm sure). The dining area consisted of tables and booths, but all the walls and ceiling were painted black and made the area very dark. The bar area, which emphasized a Raw Bar, was more attractive. Service was good, but food took a bit longer than expected, even though it was not overly crowded. Good for lunch but I wouldn't go out of my way for a visit.

Excellent food!

If I’m only going to base this review on the quality of food I would give it a 5 stars. Unfortunately they had some problems in the kitchen as we were told that made us wait for our fish entrées for 50 minutes. We ate all our pretzels and salads way back before we could enjoy our full meal. The owner came by and apologized for the delay and gave us a good discount. Our server on the other hand sucked. Good thing I still gave her a tip of 20% without a damn thank you.

Enjoyable meal!

We came here before going on The Ride and had 10% discount. Food was above average as was the drinks, service was good and no real wait time for the food. All 4 of us enjoyed our visit.

Valentine's date

After renewing our wedding vows in Times Square we came here to eat. The portions were a good size and very tasty. The chicken wings are amazing.

We had a lovely meal. The restaurant is comfortable, a great location, and the food and service were excellent.

Fun atmosphere for a break in Times Square

By Oliver0001 |

We popped in for a quick dinner - pressed for time before event. The waitress accommodated our time pressure with fast, friendly service. We all had excellent seafood: clam chowder, raw oysters, beers and Irish coffee.

Food was so so and the waiter was very slow. Would not eat here again

By Denimo9 |

The burger was plain. just meat and a bun. the coca cola was flat and bland. the waiter was slow, the small round fried potatoes were weird tasting and weird color, could not eat them. The chicken salad was plain with not enough dressing.

After our first evening exploring New York City we spontaneously walked into the restaurant for a meal. Prompt & friendly service and my other half loved his burger. After a really hot day I really appreciated my huge, non-alcoholic, drink!

Patrick’s is a midtown game changer

Love this place. A nice upgrade from the pubs around midtown. Oysters are spot on. The Patrick’s burger is top notch.

Nice Local Eating Spot

By PGAPRO2006 |

Nice Raw Bar, Excellent place to watch Sports. Service was spot on. Best part was no waiting at Lunch Time. Menu is simple, but the Fish and Chips were excellent. Numerous Craft Beers to choose from. Excellent Brunch Menu as well. Conveniently located just off Times Square on W. 42nd St.

Awesome food, great location, great place to meet friends for lunch or dinner and drinks,

By JLG |

Had a awesome lunch at Patrick's, the food was great, the menu has a Zen like simplicity to it, nice balance, the Fish and Chips were the best I've had in years!! Absolutely spot on. The atmosphere is laid back, my server was very attentive and the prices were very reasonable considering the great quality of the food... I'd recommend this place to anyone seeking a great value and a cool place to hang out and have a good time, it's in a great location on Times Square... I'm heading down there on St. Patrick's Day, should be a great time!!

Service EXCEPTIONAL

By aldosda |

Chose Patricks because it was central to the Port Authority bus station. Both of us really enjoyed a tasty meal and a few drinks, but apart from that, our waitress (sorry but we're both Scots), or if you prefer, server, whom I think was called Sharon was a 5* STAR. Not only was she attentive at the table, but she helped via her own phone to arrange our transfer pick-up to JFK. Even the piped music was enjoyable.

Good place in the craziness of Times Square

By Nancy B |

This restaurant is right down the block from The American Airlines Theater, so we tried it. We were pleasantly surprised at the quality of the food. We both had the Greek Salad, a very fresh and satisfying choice. They also have Oysters and Shrimp by the piece. The other menu items looked very appealing. It's a place that we'll return to as we are members of The Roundabout Theater Co. and this is so convenient for either lunch or a post show bite.
