My wife and I stayed in New York (ironically at MargaritaVille) and went here for Margaritas on 2 of the 3 nights we were there. They were very good, so much so I got the recipe for 3 of the Margaritas so I could re-create them on my return to the UK. We has a few drinks on each night and then ordered snacks. Pink Tacos were amazing, Nachos were large enough for us to not be able to finish and came with loads of toppings. Bar staff were friendly, helpful and polite. All in all a great experience on the two nights we ere there, drinks were much better than where we were staying which is why we returned the second time! highly recommend the Premium Margarita, Spicy, Cock Fight & Cucumber Cilantro!

We were excited to try this restaurant, but it was only okay. We were a bit skeptical when it wasn’t very busy on a Saturday night so close to Time Square in comparison to other restaurants. However, nothing was bad; just nothing about it was better than okay. We could have gotten better tacos at a stand outside for $6. If its in the name of the restaurant, it should be much better than it was. The quesadilla tasted a bit more like Italian food and not like tex-mex, but still was tasty. However, instead of folding it into pockets, they stacked two round tortillas, which made it messy. As far as ambiance, the music was too loud so it was hard to talk amongst ourselves, the booths along the wall upstairs were all turned towards the tables in the middle in a way that it felt like if you were at a table, you were being directly stared at. Service was friendly and there were no issues. All in all, we were okay but there was nothing about this restaurant that makes us want to come back a second time.

I had a reservation for dinner on 12/31/2003 at 10:45 p.m. and they canceled it because they were having a New Year's Eve party. I have been planning my vacation in New York with my family and I made the reservation a month ago, they have left me hanging and without the possibility of booking anything in the Time Square area.

First time visit...Location was in the thick of NYC's 42nd/7th Ave., Surprisingly quiet atmosphere. Food was delicious and hot. Service was very good. Our guy, Andrew was so friendly! Great value and no wait.

Absolutely garbage. Overpriced because of location. Portion size is tiny and quality is mediocre. Service was bad too - our starter came out after our mains, and our sides came out 20 mins after that. Avoid.

One morning we went for breakfast at Pink Taco for a change as the menu looked quite different to a lot of places. We got greeted as we walked in and was asked if we would like to sit upstairs or down. We chose upstairs! The staff was very friendly and attentive to our needs. The breakfast was very tasty and delicious but what I couldn’t believe was the pink pancakes! I have never seen pink pancakes before and they tasted so good! Thank you loved it!

Terrible service food was so greasy and now we understand the grade C from health department stay away from this place get charge double on my credit card and managers don’t do anything after call 3 times and talk to different people

Friendly reception and good, courteous service Too much sport on too many screens Tacos were very good but difficult to eat at the couch table. We wanted to go to a normal table and were not allowed, even though the restaurant was moderately busy

Worst Place, Terrible service. We paid the check and didn’t allow us to use the bathroom. The waitress and security guy terrible.

Spectacular, great atmosphere, super delicious food and great service! the best in the region! ample space in the heart of times square

We really enjoyed our lunch! The place was crowded, I highly recommend reservations. Our waitress was lovely, drinks were good, tacos were delicious. We will definitely be back. Do not use the Maps App to bring you to the correct location - it will bring you to the wrong address.

Service was really good when we stopped here. Food was okay. Nothing bad, but food was just okay. Has seasoning but not enough in my opinion

We went for breakfast. Had avocado toast with 2 fried eggs...the potatoes were just right, egg cooked exactly asked, coffee was good too. Pink churro pancakes were delicious too! Barbacoa in the breakfast papa's were delicious. The fruit salad..omg, huge! Served in a quarter of a pineapple. So so fresh!! Can't wait to try dinner

Went to see a show in NY and we randomly picked Pink Taco for our dinner spot. I eat tacos at least twice a month so I was exited to try some in the City. We got Nachos with chicken as appetizer and it was delicious. Me and my husband ordered Carnitas and our friends got Birria and The bell . The tortillas weren’t cooked enough and kept braking. Tacos had very little filling and pork was very dry. My Carnitas were served with one wedge of lime which was so dry I couldn’t even squeeze it. Taco Bell has better tacos than “The bell”. I would have been embarrassed to even serve that to someone. I have eaten birria Tacos in several different restaurants and they have always been served on corn tortilla and are pan fried. These were flour tortillas and def not fried. The restaurant itself was really nice and had a nice atmosphere and our drinks were good but I would not go back here again for tacos.

We ate there in connection with a trip to New York in January 2024. Cool place and the food was good. It was perhaps a bit overpriced, but it was centrally located in Time Square. The biggest downer is that the service was a little stressed, it seemed like they were trying to get you served as quickly as possible so that the table would become free again.

Came here for the first time before a show. We got there at 530 on a Tuesday night. Wasn’t packed yet. I got the OG pink tacos and my wife got the birria tacos. I can see why the pink tacos are a fave. The shell was nice and crispy, the chicken was flavored, the avocado salsa and pickled onions had a light kick and they put avocado slices on top to cool it down. The rice was fine but we were disappointed with the beans. They needed salt desperately. Our waitress was nice and food came out fast.

The lobster enchiladas were delicious! I didn’t enjoy the Baja Shrimp Tacos as much. The guacamole was pretty good but not the best I’ve had. The Something Pink cocktail was tasty. They have seating both upstairs and downstairs.

Terrible! Slow service, incorrect order, issues with the bill Cold food & pink chicken within the chicken fajitas Wish we checked the reviews prior to visiting

My sisters, my nieces and I had dinner here Labor Day weekend (8/31/25) and the food was really good but the service was really bad! I don’t want to call out the specific server but she pretty much ignored us for the entire dinner. It was really disappointing because everything else was pretty good. All six of us really liked our food, it was reasonably priced for Times Square, and it was a fun atmosphere with big windows facing the street giving us a great view of all the hustle and bustle outside. Perhaps we were ignored because we didn’t get alcohol beverages which would have brought the tab and gratuity up considerably. Whatever the reason, I was going to give only two stars, but decided to give three because the experience might have been a better if we had a different server.

We came for the food, but the service is top notch! We were serve by Ciro, best server! Very tentative and fast! He made the date even better. Thank you, Ciro!

Delicious! We had a shrimp taco and a lobster taco with rice. We loved them. Fun place, with a fun atmosphere, music playing. Very welcoming. We were served by Selina who was a really warm and friendly waitress. We would definitely go back

We stumbled to The Pink Taco because it was after midnight and we were starving and it was close to our hotel. The restaurant was clean, music was good, food came out quick and was hot. While the rice and beans were awful to us, the tacos and enchiladas were pretty good. The service was good as well. It just wasn’t quite 5 star worthy. I’d go back but I’d also be ok if I didn’t.

We got to our room around 10:30 PM. The hotel clerk said there were not many kitchens still open. We're thinking, but this is New Your City! Anyway, he did say that the Pink Taco (about a block away) would still be serving. This felt like a "hot spot" when we got there as it was relatively crowded with a very active atmosphere. We needed more time with the menu which seemed to irritate our waitress a bit as she took a long time getting back to us. I had the carne asada tacos which were excellent. My wife had the tortilla soup which she enjoyed. The tortilla chips were crispy and very tasty. The salsa was also very good but I wanted just a little more heat. My wife loved her cabernet sauvignon and I especially appreciated my straight up margarita.

No help by reservation before new year eve on site two days before. We got no information about the needed digital tickets to pass Times Square

It's a tourist trap. The food is ok, the drinks are ok, the service is slow. Friendly workers but very little English spoken and disorganized. Right at times Square so it is convenient but there are so many great restaurants around it that, meh...not a destination spot.

Without any indication from the waiter, we ordered dishes for the children that turned out to be too hot. Lame margaritas, with no taste of tequila and salt at the bottom of the glass, not just at the edge, quite sweet, weird. Fanciful addition that immediately disappeared from the Reservation System that allowed access. Antacids for the whole family in the late evening. Fortunately we don't lose the good mood so easily

This a large boisterous place on 2 floors. The second story holds a very large dining room. The noise level was the only downside—maybe okay for the younger, partying types. The menu is extensive and the food is very good. The service was friendly, competent and prompt. Located on the south edge of Times Square it is convenient before a Broadway show. Recommended.

We first went in about 1:00, before the theater for some iced tea. Everyone we dealt with was so very friendly. We ended up going back to eat after the show. Our server gave us the happy hour menu, even though it was a Saturday, which was pretty inexpensive. We shared guacamole and chips, then had quesadillas. Everything was delicious, portions way big enough for us. My friend insisted on dessert so we shared the drunken brownie. Yum. We were absolutely stuffed. Again, everyone, and I do mean everyone, was so very nice, so friendly. Definitely will go back.

We stopped here after wandering Times Square. It was just okay. The Birria tacos were pretty good but the chips were stale and the margaritas just tasted weird. They tasted like straight mixer. With all of the wonderful and amazing food in New York, it was disappointing.

Pink Taco is one of the places to visit in Times Square. Located in the busy heart of Manhattan, the decor is cool, fresh, and modern, and the atmosphere was great. The food itself was very strong. Would highly recommend the Chicken Fajitas, which you construct yourself, with various assortments such as sour cream, cheese, avocado, amongst more. The nachos also had a good taste, with some lovely Carnitas pork on top, but be aware that this portion is huge - it should be shared between at least 2 people! Our server Sebastian was friendly and overall delivered a strong service. There was a slight mishap in our order, but this was amended swiftly and professionally. Would highly recommend to all in and around Times Square.

This place was awesome! The service was probably the best I have ever received! The food was fresh and delicious! I’m not a huge fan of spicy food and this place is awesome because you can put everything on the side or remove the spicy toppings because everything is made fresh. The food was delicious! I do wish I put the toppings on the street corn because the spice level wasn’t too horrible. The Frozen Strawberry Margarita in a pineapple was AMAZING! Prices were not too bad for the location. The atmosphere was fun and enjoyable! I’ll definitely be back and highly recommend!

Great food and service! Reasonable prices for Times Square. Probably the friendliest staff of anywhere we ate the five days we were in Manhattan. Not necessary authentic Mexican but great tasting, quality meal.

I can't rate anything but the horrible service because I never got my food. I ordered more than $200 worth of food at 11:49 and was given a scheduled delivery time of 12:48 PM. That time came and went. I called and they told me they were backed up and it would be another 20 minutes. That time went by and I called again and the food wasn't ready. More time when by and I called yet again, more than an hour and 15 minutes after my food was supposed to be ready. They claimed that the food had been given to UberEats and would be delivered momentarily. It never arrived. I walked over to the restaurant to ask them what had happened and to either get my food or to get a refund for it, since I never got any food. They refused to take any responsibility.

So i'll start by saying I went here knowing nothing other than that they had a few locations. The front door welcome and service was very friendly - our waiter was really on top of things as well! However the fun ended when the food arrived. Wet, tasteless Guac (why it was so watery I have no idea) My cheese enchiladas have exactly zero cheese taste. The margaritas while tasty, might have been in a ROOM once with tequila, but there certainly wasn't much of it IN the drink. There are sports games on the tv's but also loud music making it feel like a weird sports bar/ nightclub. So in the end for me, it came down to just another expensive tourist trap with lousy food. Walk 2 block away from times square and you'll fine far more exceptional food at MUCH lower prices.

I was initially torn between giving this place three or four stars, but I ultimately chose four for a few key reasons. First, the atmosphere was very welcoming, and the staff was friendly and helpful overall. They were attentive, though they came by on their own schedule rather than when we actually needed them. They also didn’t offer any recommendations for the menu, which would have been nice. Location-wise, this restaurant has a prime spot—not far from Times Square and close to the Nintendo store—making it a convenient stop for anyone exploring the area. The interior was well-maintained and very clean when we arrived. It wasn’t too busy at first, but it picked up pretty quickly, so it’s clearly a popular spot. Now, onto the food, which is the main reason you’re reading this! It was better than average, though my main issue was that it wasn’t served piping hot, only warm. I ordered the birria tacos, and while the flavors in the broth were rich and delicious for dipping, the seasoning in the meat itself was underwhelming. Without the broth, the tacos lacked depth. Hopefully, they can improve the seasoning ratio in the future to make the tacos flavorful both with and without the broth. Overall, I’d recommend this place, especially for the location, reasonable prices, and generally good experience. They also have a full bar, which is a plus for drinkers, and an upstairs seating area perfect for large groups. Give it a try!

It was our first trip to New York and we stayed in the Times Square area and found the Pink Taco one night for dinner. We were traveling as a family of four and all four of us were pleased with the choice of the restaurant. Yes, it is a Mexican restaurant and I believe two of us had a Taco entree and two of us had an Enchilada entree. All four of us enjoyed the meal. We would recommend it if you are visiting New York City and near Times Square.

Great appetizers (taquitos), mediocre enchiladas, pink tacos, and good frozen strawberry daquiri made it a good, but not memorable meal. The servers tried to rush the meal despite many tables available.

Excellent food, superb drinks, brilliant service and great vibe. Every guest commented on the quality of their food, drinks flowed as did laughter.

Pretty good food, the set menu was great value, and in general good value for Times Square. Decent service beers were good too!

Great location and a big airy restaurant ... lovely serving staff and the food was amazing and well presented ... all the food we sampled was top class and beautifully presented .. good value for food in NYC

My friend picked this location since it was close to my hotel and close to the theater. We went for the Hangover Brunch and the bottomless mimosas. We ordered the Breakfast Fiesta Combo because we both wanted the pink churro pancakes. Our churro pancakes did not come with the cinnamon sugar over the top and didn't have a churro taste, it was more of a pancake with pink coloring. The portion size was good with two eggs, choice of protein and good crispy potatoes.
Upstairs closing early
We had an 8 PM reservation on a Friday night and were seated upstairs. After we ordered, our food and drinks arrived quickly. The food was delicious, and we were really enjoying the live DJ. We were just finishing our food around 8:40 when our server came by and said they were closing the upstairs and did we want anything else? It was very odd, as there were multiple parties nearby. We felt like we were being kicked out.
