The food was amazing. Super tasty and the portions were huge. The restaurant is very nice and clean. The waiters are bilingual and very attentive. All the dishes ordered on my visit were delicious.

When I viewed on line I was underwhelmed. This place far exceeded my expectations. Friendly staff, excellent food, generous portions. The chicken empanadas were as good as I’ve had anywhere. The hot dogs and fries was a big hit but the shrimp Cuzco was killer.

At first look, does not look like much. This place is just your typical "don't judge a book by irs cover" type of eatery. So good. You walk into the bar area, as you wait for your table, we waited 30 minutes. Then the room Inge the back is where the "wow" takes place. The ambiance is so fridge....you feel like part of the in crowd. The service was great, but the food is the main event. Taste beyond good while my poor stomach got larger. This place should not be missed. If in the time square area, or by Yankee stadium, this is a great spot for locals and tourists alike

You must try the Perucho Tasting.... really good! Also the Chicken Matador. Good for 4 persons. Good food and good prices!

This restaurant is terrific. It is a bit noisy but that sort of fits with the ambiance. The food is excellent. My son ate chicken soup and roast chicken main. Superb. The girls had Saltado and loved it. I had mixed raw fish. Fabulous. The sangria was excellent. I also shared a white wine restaurant branded which was quite good.

I will most definitely not go back. We had a reservation and got there a few minutes before the rest of our party and they would not let us sit down, front desk people were rude and dismissive! We asked to sit at a booth and they told us it was for a party of 8, we were six, and halfway through our dinner we saw a party of 6 sitting at the same booth! The food wasn't even that good for the prices they charged! As a Peruvian, I can tell you they did such a disservice representing our cuisine. The Jalea was the worst I have ever tasted. The Arroz Chaufa tasted like regular Chinese fried rice without the Peruvian taste, which makes it an authentic Peruvian dish. Lomo saltado is a staple of our cuisine, and it was such a disappointment. I have never seen such big chunks of meat used in such a dish. So please do yourself a favor and spend your money somewhere else.

We came to PioPio for our first dinner in NYC. We ordered about 7 dishes for 6 people and it was more than enough!

This place is one of a kind! True Peruvian cuisine brought to you by a true Peruvian owner who knows and understands how to put all his traditions and culture on to a plate in a way that would impress any culinary expert. The environment is lively and truly unique in terms of design. Sleek, elegant, hip, modern, and simple with a touch of upper class to it. The food is AMAZING! I highly recommend the spicy ceviche, the tostones with the spicy green sauce, and the Pisco Sours!! This is definitely a place I will be coming back to for a long time! Also, they are highly well known for their rotisserie chicken which is like melt in your mouth filet mignon and seasoned to perfection!

Good Peruvian chicken is crispy on the outside and juicy inside: This was neither. Chicken was tough with flaccid skin and little taste. Some of the fish in the Ceviche Mixto was not fresh and nothing was properly marinated. There was little to no real flavor even though we requested spicy. We requested hot sauce—once, twice, three times. What finally arrived was clearly poured from a bottle. The servings are large but mainly consist of a pile of poorly prepared fries and an "avocado salad" with a few slices of avocado, big lettuce wedges, and tomatoes all thrown on a plate with no unifying theme. We would definitely NOT go back!

We ate there while in town on business. The people are friendly, and it's a pretty big place. It can be noisy, so be prepared. The front of the restaurant is probably quieter, as is the small balcony over the main room. Good Pisco Sours, very good Lomo Saltado, and a nice variety on the menu. It's not cheap, but not too bad for Manhattan either. We'll go back.

Came here for the first time never having Peruvian food. The ambiance and decor is great. We got the Perucho tasting appetizer. Tried beef heart for the first time and everything was great. The size of the entree and sides were huge. I had leftovers for three days with the arroz Chaufa. We got the mama Juanita’s chicken with maduros, avocado salad, tostones and the aji’ de Gallina. Everything was great. The tostones were our least favorite. They were good but a little bland for me. For dessert we got the chocolate cake. It was okay. Overall nice atmosphere, large portions, good food but tiny everything was great and our waiter wasn’t the friendliest.

The line was super long to get in but we were seated within 10 minutes. The waiter was prompt to the table and we had drinks and food within 7 minutes. May have been the quickest service that we have ever had after being seated, on a Friday night even! We got the Matador combo. It was delicious but way too much for the 2 of us. Would definitely go again!

Wonderful, interesting and great Peruvian menu!!! We enjoyed this friendly restaurant . Excellent entries beef dish and lots of chicken and fish to choose from. We followed up with a show off Broadway just around the corner... Great time!!!

Authentic peruvian food at reasonable prices, convenient location right by madison square garden. Place is a bit small but they did a good job accommodating my party of 4

The menu looks fantastic, the food that arrives is greasy, overcooked, I even had soggy calamari appetizer. Ceviche is overcooked and the portion not particularly generous. The front desk always seems confused and disorganized/bumping into each other. There's no waiting area so there are crowds, not lines, outside, blocking sidewalk and no restaurant attention to this. I've brought this up with management and front desk, several times, to no avail.

This looks like a store front from the outside but when you go in, there is a beautifully decorated downstairs level. We have been here several times for lunch and it is delicious and reasonable.

We have been here many times and never had the pleasure of sitting in the dramatic dining room because of the loud music. We are always cramped in the waiting room or the narrow corridor. The two of us can sit close and not talk much. We came with friends twice but the noise made us look for another restaurant. The roast chicken, salchipapas, avocado, green sauce are worth the discomfort. The chicken is roasted perfectly, moist and tender. Such comfort food! How about a quiet ambience ?

This restaurant was recommended by my hotel, and it lived up to the recommendation. It's a great place to try Peruvian cuisine. My wife and I have tried several items from the menu. All have been flavorful, and each was worthy of a "re-do" in a future visit. If you are with a group of people, try Juanita's Chicken and the Matador Combo and SHARE! Any time my wife and I are in town for the week, this is always one of our dinner dates.

We had a great meal, got the “family style” roasted chicken, with accompanying side dishes. We also ordered two orders of shrimp and had lots of leftovers after feeding 4 people. The flavors were wonderful, and the level of spiciness can be specified. We did not investigate desserts, I don’t recall if they even had a dessert menu. Our server was patient and attentive. It was a bit energetic (noisy) for dinner conversations, mitigated a bit by choosing a table by the window and separated from the bar a bit. We arrived early, 5:00 PM and had no wait for seating, on a Thursday evening.

In an impressive setting, we were amazed by the very particular flavors of this Peruvian cuisine based on properly acidic cevice, corn and other spicy condiments! The dishes were good, we tried a cocktail also based on egg white, not cheap but very original!

We have been ordering and eating at Pio pio for years and loved it. Trying the Hells kitchen spot was very disappointing. The service was unprofessional and below par. The food was ok far too greasy. The AC did not work and the price much higher than the others. Very unfortunate.

My wife and I were hungry after a Sunday evening play on W 42nd so I used google maps to seek out a nearby restaurant. Browsed some Pio Pio 8 reviews and minutes later we were in the beautiful wooded ambience of its basement room. Wait staff were extremely helpful in helping us navigate the menus, our first Peruvian experience. We shared a half Juanita’s rotisserie chicken and the beef tenderloin, which came with a fantastic rice & bean side (topped with fried egg) that perfectly complimented the chicken as well, so tasty all of it. But what put the meal over the top was our exotic summer cocktail choice, Surf in Pepino’s... built upon Pisco 100 brandy, with lime, strawberry, simple syrup, cucumber water & sparkling wine... delicious! We’re from Seattle, wish they would come to our city, but will definitely come back again to try more dishes.

For the appetizer we ordered the Ensalada de Avocado and Testones. For the main course, we ordered a whole Juanita's chicken. Everything was really good and worth the price, but I would not order a pitcher of sangria. The sangria was not that good and very pricy.

We had a weekday lunch there before seeing a play. Nice decor and bar. The Paella was awesome. Service friendly but a bit understaffed , like everyone else.

I've been here a few times with friends and family. My favorites are the Lomo Saltado, Ceviche Mixto, Jalea and Yuca Frita (which comes with a garlic and green sauce). I am not a fan of the Arroz Chaufa or the Papa a la Huancaina, definitely not there best so I wouldn't recommend ordering it at this location. For some reason the Queens locations make these plates a bit better. If it's your first time, I recommend sitting down stairs in the open area. As for this visit we sat by the bar area which was fine for us. Camilio was very friendly, attentive and nice. Will be back for the Lomo and Piso Sour.

If you are hungry for some good Peruvian food in NYC, Pio Pio is the location to choose. They had popular favorites like papa a la huancaina and lomo saltado as well as Inca Kola.

A friend took us here. Nice ambience, you can either sit at the bar area or the restaurant. The offer combo options for a good price. The portions are generous. The flavors are ok. They have classic Peruvian food but with a New York twist.

We stopped for lunch after a conference and the pleasure of having peruvian food. Great choice. The place is much bigger than it seems from the outside. We were taken to the lower floor, lots of room, and interesting, tasteful decor. We split the Paella (plenty for 2; great!) and fried yuca (skip it - not that great) and the most delightful berry-cinnamon drink (nonalcoholic) served by the carafe. Our server was friendly and knowledgeable. I'd definitely return.

Went on a Sunday night for dinner and drinks after going several years ago. Big spot which is unusual for the city and Hell’s Kitchen. Busy for dinner and it was a bit loud due to poor acoustics. Had trouble hearing my guest. Food was very good last time as it was this time around. Fair pricing for NYC on dinner and cocktails. Service was a bit slow. All in all, hit the spot for craving Chilean. I’d definitely go back when in the area.

visited the 10th avenue Pio Pio last night with 6 colleagues, about 7pm, no reservation but we were seated very quickly. I was told it was all about the chicken, being a visitor from the UK, so one of my colleagues ordered a selection of rotisserie chicken, rice, fried fish and ceviche dishes....everything was fantastic quality, very quick to the table and service was a similar standard. I will definitely return....

Definitely if you are looking for a Peruvian type of food and drinks, this is the right place to go, amazing the food, their Pisco is great and very well served.

He kept us entertained even as he expertly took our orders and later served our food which was excellent. We had the chupe before at a different location and we were not disappointed when we had it again this time. I had the lomo saltado. I recommend it. Important note: Don't be put off by the cramped entrance area. The main dining area at the lower level is impressive.

This is a very typical Peruvian restaurant. The starts are great and ceviches are marvelous . Last time I ate one of the rices as a main plate and it was espetacular also.My recommendation is to start with the delicious entrances based on potatoes and share one main plate. The piscos are also great and besides the sour that was excellent, I also tried the passion fruit which was great but a little sweet. In general, the restaurant is excellent, but there is one think that you have to take in mind when visit them. It is extremely noisy and it is not able to talk.

Lucked out that this was near my hotel-ate there twice in 3 days recently in Manhattan. First, once in the main room, the design and décor is amazing. Second, the service and attention to detail is outstanding. And finally, the food-this place is right up there with La Mar at the Embarcadero in San Francisco as far as getting high end Peruvian cuisine right. Tried the Cause de Atun and the Nikkei Ceviche for starters and the execution and presentation were outstanding. Then tried the Mero Norteno and the Corvina a lo Macho for entrees and the fish in both (the sea bass and corvina) were melt in your mouth. In fact, the amount was seafood that accompanied the corvina was massive-it was just over the top and I was not complaining. To finish it off, their chocolate cake with lacuma ice cream was spot on. In short, this place is completely top notch and matches any meal I have had in Lima.

Having lunch at this restaurant was fun. We started with. Peruvian tamale which was very good. The green sauce at the table was tasty. We had the Chef’s choice of five types of ceviche and that was great. For the price, it would have been nice to get more chips or crackers. We also had beans and yellow rice. It was all flavorful.

Our server was very nice and polite, she explained very good the portions and description, i asked for the bathroom, after 8 minutes waiting two of the GUY servers come out of the womens bathroom, when i went in, it was just nasty, NASTY! I couldn't even see due to the dim light. We ordered pollo a la brasa with papas and salad, also "peruvian tasting", una Jarra de chicha and one Sangria Pitcher, let me tell you, the chicken was awesome! The salad had no flavor, no dressing, nothing! FYI sangria and wine should never be served with ice, EVER! Chicha morada Peruana should NEVER EVER be served with ice! You must ask first! And not everybody wants ice. The fries were very brown and crispy so we ordered a second round of fries, these came golden so we realized the 1st order was burned. And la chicha, had extreme canela flavor, we asked for lemon to try to fix it but.... noooo. We ordered soda instead. The ambiance of the restaurant is nice. We are peruvians, living in Miami, we know Peruvian food can never be exactly as if we were in Peru but come on.. i do not care howmany stars this restaurant has.... no no

We were told that there would be a wait for a table on a Friday evening, but we were seated within 10 minutes at the lower level in the far corner, which we thought would be a good location. The restaurant was fairly full and a variety of waiters took our drink orders, our appetizer orders, our main course orders, and our dessert orders. The pisco sours and the ceviche were outstanding. The house chicken was excellent and the other items we ordered were very good, especially the ice cream and cookies with berries and whipped cream. We would return and recommend the restaurant without reservation but for the noise level. Perhaps earplugs or noise-cancelling headphones would help.

The food was quite good, as most reviewers attest. However, I was a lone diner for dinner, sitting in a far corner of the restaurant, and once my entrée was brought to me, I was forgotten! Many walked past my table subsequently, but no one ever stopped again, or even brought me my bill. When I finally flagged someone down, and they brought my bill, I asked to see a manager. I was told that there was no manager on duty, but that I could talk to the cashier. I complained to her, but didn't get a lot of sympathy. It is very rare that I don't leave a tip; this was one of those rare nights.

Though well decorated and with a nice vibe, the overall product was fairly poor surprisingly with pretty awful service. I had really been after some good peruvian food and was so disappointed to get general cafeteria style hispanic food. Rice and beans were all burnt and completely dried out from sitting under heat lamps. The cevice looked like the fish had been hacked apart with a machete and was generally over seasoned. The only saving grace was the roast chicken which was absolutely perfectly cooked, tender, and delicious. I suppose we would have been a bit more comfortable with the average to poor food, had the service staff been a bit more attentive and friendly. It took 45 minutes to just get our first round of cocktails and at no point in the meal did our waitress smile or offer even the simplest cordialities...even when dropping off the bill. Even the upstairs toilet looked like a bomb had gone off as it had clearly not been cleaned once during the dinner service or perhaps even at all during the day. Pretty foul all around. In general, after hearing great things about their first restaurant we were all anxious to try the new Pio Pio but left fairly disappointed

We've been going to a few restaurants since we've moved back to the neighborhood and one of the more solid returning locations is Pio Pio. There is a wait if you don't plan ahead and make a reservation, so be mindful of doing that way ahead of when you'd like to go if you don't like waiting for a table. The food is delicious and the service is very fast. One of the best items on the menu is the Matador Combo special, which is enough to feed at least 3 people or more depending on your appetite. The food is distinctively South American (Peruvian) with a lot of American influences (the hot dog + fries side) but all of it is delicious. The cocktails are served with just the right amount of kick to them. If you're looking for a romantic or conversational dinner, you'll want to ask for one of the two seater tables that overlook the dining area below. The downstairs dining area can be quite noisy so heads up on that. If you don't specifically ask for that area, you might get seated right next to the bar which is also not that appealing. If you don't mind the noise and the atmosphere below, then ask to be seated in the downstairs dining area.

amazing food, we had the ceviche sampler and corvina, delicious, great service, nice ambience , would go back again

Great place to go with a group. There are several dinners that you can share that offer plentiful plates of fun, interesting and tasty dishes. It's a bit west of the theater district but worth the walk.

we discovered this chain years ago and every time we get back to NY city we go as first destintion to pio pio. lovely ceviches, great chicken, sitting at the bar, great service. well done guys!

Had lunch, food was delicious, a good selection of drinks, had a Peruvian beer. Lunch portion was fairly large.

First of all, there is no clear sign where the place was. Signage is very hidden and the waiter outside does t even hustle like other....not that I like that but then again why was he stationed outside? Very dark place and the floor was rustic. It didn’t go with the environment. This includes the bathroom that was not clean. Sitting at the bar, I started with a drink the I wanted to have something to nibble. By the time the bartender was around, I just walked for the check. It wasn’t very crowded and the staff was talking to themselves - criticizing the clientele. I was able to understand Spanish. After asking 3 times for the check. I finally paid and walked out. Hope the service is abetted in the fining area. The bar service was terrible, but the drink was well made .

I ate at another location and enjoyed the food decided to try this locale. First the bar tender shouted from the back when we walked in at 2 pm on Saturday, no one in front. We took some empty seats near the window table, 2 strollers were parked next to us. Waitress soon came gave us menus did not make any conversation, except to the hostess at register. We ordered lomo saltado for $28 salty, soggy fries in a cornstarch gravy. I enjoyed the rice, my meal was cool temperature. My friend ordered the chicken and yucca fries- dry and hard. We ordered a pitcher of chicha morada which the waitress filled my friends glass only for some reason, to the point of she poured all in their glass and took away the pitcher. The place is hard to find, needs renovating at least the front and lighting. Would not return to this location.

Without a doubt this is one of my favorite places, it is good, nice and cheap. The food is rich especially lime ceviche and the tempura octopuses are delicious!

The idea of Peruvian cuisine has no cachet to 99% of Americans . The roast chicken is outstanding, better than a French restaurant that charges 4 times the price! The menu has lots of great items at reasonable prices, but to get yourself their , try the chicken and you will be coming back quite often for many great dishes.

I was in town for my Aunt's Celebration of Life and was introduced to this amazing place a few days before. OMG!!! I will be back here for sure!!!! Soooo good!!!

We work in Jackson Heights so we love their Peruvian cuisine. Their chicken with pepper sauce is so moist that it falls off the bone. Their jalea is fresh and delicious. We were ecstatic to find their location near the Javits center . Love this place and their prices are very reasonable and their portions are huge.

TripAdvisor page says "reservations". Their website doesn't say anything about reservations. I called the # of the Upper West Side joint where I wanted to dine, waited about 5 minutes for someone to answer, and then was told it's 10 min for reservations. more than enough room to mention that on website (or change their Trip listing). sure i can find chicken somewhere else. bye bye pio pio

Even if you aren’t an adventurous eater, you’ll love it here. Don’t be scared off by the fact it’s Peruvian. It’s delicious and the atmosphere is great. Anything with chicken is a great choice. Bonus: prices are reasonable. Also: one of the best pisco sours’ I’ve ever had!

We we to to eat the famous chicken but was dry ;not taste ; I was surprised because last year the restaurant was packed but the tables were almost empty; the only thing I can say it’s that I’m not coming back to this place, what they serve it’s not Peruvian food

This place has numerous outlets throughout the city. This is by far the most upscale and architecturally amazing. The food is incredible. The Lomo Saltado is beyond compare.

Juanita’s chicken is delicious. We can choose between the whole chicken, half or 1/4. The sauce comes separately. And the restaurant is very nice too.

Really good food but the portions are huge! A little annoyed that waiter did not inform us of exactly how big all the dishes were, we were tourists and had no idea. Most portions are shareable!

I accompanied my friend to this restaurant for a family get together for an 50th anniversary, it was pretty busy I guess because of the graduations going on at the time (early June ), waiter took forever to bring my drink order, I then had to ask 2 other waiters (one i felt shruged me off) before my orange juice was brought to the table, food tasted good that was the only good thing. I honestly don't think i'll visit again when next I'm in NYC.

We went hete with Some friends and had a Great time. Nice food we had the chicken. When the restaurant is Full it could get a bit noisy

We stopped by before our show for dinner. This place does not let down, every plate coming from the kitchen was very good. So much that I felt my grandma was in the kitchen making our dinner!!! Also loved the chicha, pisco sours were excellent. Service was awesome, my family and I had a great experience here.

Pio Pio 8 is our go-to for a quick, tasty, and surprisingly affordable business lunch. The rotisserie chicken is juicy and flavorful, and that green sauce? Seriously addictive! It's a reliably good spot when we're craving some Peruvian comfort food.

So so good. Quaint little spot in HK, nice waitstaff and the food was amazing! The calamari was a bit rubbery but still good, calamari is like that sometimes anywhere you go.

If your looking for a meal order the Matador combo feast it was plenty. 3 people and we couldn’t eat it all. Great prices and the food was out in less than 10 minutes you can’t beat that.

We love Peruvian food and this did not disappoint! We got the Matador to share & just made a dent. It was enough for four people.

I definitely had better Peruvian good before. Decor was fitting but the seating was tight. You have to turn side ways to walk through the place and the music was a bit loud. It’s 2 levels. Then bar is upstairs. After we waited almost an hour for a table they don’t take reservations for groups with 4 and less we sat and ordered. The chaufa was ok. Not worth it. rotisserie chicken was the best thing. I had the tres leches which was pretty sweet more like uno leche. Chicken empanadas were nasty. Drinks were good.

Good experience overall. Peruvian rosticcerie chicken is good but not sufficiently moist and not well marinated. Good choice of starters. To try other choices in the menu.

whenever we came back to ny we cannot miss : ceviche and or chicken. and it is always excellent with good service, and often eating at the bar . will be back

Came to this place as a large group after an all day meeting in NYC. given the hour of the evening we were seated rather quickly that was plus. The dining room we were in is extremely loud. I could barely carry on a conversation with the person sitting next to me, let alone here the waiter. Staff was friendly. The food was awesome portions large price was more than fair for NYC

Food was delicious and service was great! Would love to go again! Had a lot of good authentic Peruvian food that was good portions too (even homemade hot sauce)!

Group of us decided to eat here for lunch...we all had the special...quarter chicken, rice or tostones, salad and a soda. The food was fresh, hot and most of all....delicious. Our server was very attentive throughout our meal, she took good care of us and made us feel welcomed. Where in the midtown west area can one get a nice sit down meal, nice atmosphere, good music for a total of $17? Will definitely return as the chicken was moist and flavorful, the rice was perfect....can't wait.

We were excited to try Pio Pio. As we were shown to our table deep inside, the design was great but the noise level grew to a level where you could barely hear yourself think. My 7 year old son couldn’t eat because the din was overwhelming to him. All the food was super tasty! Next time we’d recommend eating there only upstairs as close to the front door as possible. Don’t get buried in the loud back.

We had the chicken platter - it comes w/ rice and beans, tostones, salad, french fries w/ sausages and 2 big pieces of chicken. It was enough food to feed a village! There were 3 of us and granted I wasn't that hungry but we had a decent amount of food leftover. The chicken had good flavor and beans were very good. The tostone was bland and very starchy. The sausages were really good but they give a ton of them so we couldn't finish. Bring a big appetite b/c the servings are BIG! The place gets very busy so may want to make reservations if you can.

I can't even tell you how much I enjoy Pio Pio. I like their causa's and I hate potatoes. My favorite meal is Jaleo with tostones and a passion fruit pisco sour. I get it almost every time. If I am with a group of friends someone always orders the matador which is too much food for less than 4 people. The aquacate and tostones are always fresh and creamy. The chicken so well seasoned and falling off the bone. If you haven't tried peruvian, please try pio pio!

We enjoyed a wonderful evening with family at this spacious restaurant. My nephew and I selected the Peruvian Combo. The rotisserie chicken was outstanding! My wife had the Ensalada De Palta which you thoroughly enjoyed! Great location and outstanding food!

Great food and service but C restaurant rating. Looking forward to going back when they clean up the kitchen!

We went to Pio Pio on a Sunday recently based on a recommendation from the guide book Clued In New York. We initially were shown to a table in the main dining room downstairs but it was too loud and too close for us. We retreated back upstairs to the bar where we had a nice supper. The combo ceviche was very nice, especially the octopus. Lomo Saltado was good- they use tender beef but substituted tomatoes for peppers and the soy flavor was subtle at best. The dish suffered in comparison to a recent version at Bolivar in South Beach. My wife's shrimp dish was nice but bland. Overall, a positive experience but not one worth a special trip.

Good food. Quality ingredients seemed to be used (I’m a foodie). We had ceviche, Peruvian spiced chicken, yucca and plantains. Prices reasonable. Service good. Decor and venue were just OK.

Went there on the day when Peru played NZ for the soccer WC qualifier and the place was packed with Peruvians - which is alway a good sign for authenticity. Food was delicious - athmosphere was great.

Amazing food and service. So initially we thought this was a sort of fast food take out place with no seating but there is seating so this is a real win as it was nice to sit and have our dinner. The restaurant is deceptively large. Unfortunately we ended up visiting when there were 3 birthday parties so it was very noisy - but a good vibe anyway. We had an avocado salad (loads of avo which is always fab!), fries, rotisserie chicken and steamed veg and rice and beans. Everything was super tasty and fresh. The chicken itself was yummy and moist (the green dip with it was amazing too). Service was really good and everyone was super attentive (despite it being super busy). Highly recommend this place.

Our large party came here for lunch yesterday. What a beautiful surprise! Highly recommend moving out of the tourist hustle and bustle to eat here. You won't be disappointed.

Our host sat us were the majority of the two tops are in the restaurant. It was a dark area, no candle on the table and the heat was on. We ordered a half pitcher of red sangria, one manhattan cocktail, chicken empanadas and shared a huge bowl of the arroz chaufa which is the peruvian style fried chinese rice, mixed with chicken, eggs, bean sprouts, scallions and soy sauce. You can add shrimp for an extra $2.00. The waiting area was crowded so no host or hostess could acknowledge any guest leaving in order to bid goodbye or say thank you for dining with us. Good food, rushed service and a $60.00 bill. Not too bad for a fun Friday night!

Excellent chicken after all of these years. It’s become trendy and loud though. Service is ok. But the food remains good.

My husband and I had a wonderful dinner here, and it was due entirely to the fantastic service. When we were first seated in the main dining area, we realized that they were having trouble with the air conditioner and our waiter promptly relocated us to the quieter upstairs. After enjoying cocktails, we enthusiastically dug into our food and were quite pleased. I had the arroz con mariscos and the seafood was perfectly cooked: the octopus tender, the mussels and clams flavorful, the scallop and shrimp perfectly done, and the langoustine a perfect topping. (Disclaimer: there was NO way I could finish this "dish for one", even without an appetizer, so take my advice and share.)

We went for a somewhat early dinner and were seated promptly. The dishes were very good -- Aji de Gallina was our favorite. We also liked the chicken empanadas and a pasta -- Tallarines la Costa. The extra dish of salsa let each of us flavor to our own taste. Service was excellent. Prices reasonable. The only downside -- it's a bit of a walk from subways.

Pisco sours were delish and all of the dishes were great. Especially shrimp or chicken with cream sauce (can't remember name but started with A) and empanadas. Atmosphere good but downstairs loud. I think I would try to eat upstairs.

The space is pretty fantastic and seems to be able to accommodate large groups. They have a large dining space on the first floor and it feels you're entering a banquet hall. We had the matador combo, which was a lot of food and enough to accommodate three people.

Lunch special is awesome, salad. Chicken vegetable plus a drink, $12. Nice place, good service. Would recommend maduros or rice n beans for vegetable.

We came here and loved it!! Having read a couple of reviews we decided to order the matador combo to share between 4. Everything tasted amazing, and we were all full. It was the easiest way to taste lots of the menu.

Great service & lovely food. We went on a busy Friday night and were given a table straight away. We had a nice little table as a couple, upstairs however there is a large area downstairs for large groups. Very good atmosphere.

You will never be disappointed with the size of the portions that this restaurant offers. Their food is delicious, good for take out or eating inside of the restaurant. You will get everything at a good price and would not be disappointed.

We went to Pio Pio for lunch, not knowing what to expect. Honestly, the food was amazing and blew us away. We ate the ceviche (mixto) and palta rellena, enjoying every bit of them. There was great service as well.

Meal was great - we shared 2 family style combo plates and i ordered empanadas - very good .... Service was quick and this was important since we had to go to the theatre. But the star of the show were the SANGRIAS ...sweet but with a nice punch. DEFINITE RECOMMEND ...

LOVED it! We shared ceviche and a seafood/rice dish. Both were exceptional! The service was great; the atmosphere is charming.....no complaints about anything. This was our first time eating here but we'll definitely be back. (I just remembered....the one negative thing....the hostess who seated us was unpleasant....thankfully, the server made up for her cold and uninviting personality.)

This Peruvian restaurant has a large room that is still quite quiet. The servers are friendly and the Awards are reasonable. The portions are gargantuan!!

Used to love the cheviche here but I guess they have a new chef, this was the saltiest food I’ve ever been served in a restaurant. A very sad and unfortunate lunch.

We are big fans of the Peruvian restaurant at home, so we wanted to check out the chicken here to see how similar it was. We were seated right away at a small table opposite the bar. The bar itself was very pretty and well lit. It was really busy and seemed to have a lot of local people hanging at the bar. We both decided to try a pisco sour from the bar. Neither of us had ever seen it on a menu, and we didn't like it much. It was a good adventure, but I definitely wouldn't order that drink again. We ordered the chicken special that came with chicken, a salad, rice and beans to share. We added an order of plantains since I Iove them so much. Our food came out really fast, and my goodness there was a lot of it. It barely fit on our table! We had to get the largest plate of plantains I've ever seen. The chicken and accompanying green sauce was juicy and delicious. The saffron rice was also very good. The one thing that didn't stack up was the salad. It was a lot of sliced tomato and avocado stacked on a tiny bit of lettuce. I would skip that next time, as it was odd. It was so much food that we couldn't finish it all. We did take the plantains with us, but couldn't really store much else. If only we had a small fridge, we could've had lunch the next day from this meal. Definitely get the chicken if you come here, it's fantastic.

We were wanting a place close to the theatre. We had a group of six but without any reservations. We called and they told us to come on, and what time we would need to be there so that we could get to the play we were seeing. This was a place I picked without any recommendations from any one of the places we ate at while in NYC. The decor in the place is amazing, but the service and food were even better. It was our first visit, but we will visit again when in NYC. This place should be a place everyone should try that wants to experience Peruvian food or something new.

I love Peruvian good and this restaurant did NOT disappoint! I’ll come back again and again!! I had the Camarones with Amarillo sauce and my date had Lomi Saltado. Both were fantastic!

Nice atmosphere here in the Hell's Kitchen area of NYC, with upstairs and downstairs dining areas, and so convenient to Broadway. We stopped in for lunch after Phantom of the Opera. Four of us shared some appetizers and the lunch special for only $14.98 which was a 1/4 chicken, salad and your choice of sides. There's more than you think there is when it arrives. The chicken was moist, and cooked to perfection. The salad was a simple salad, but good, and our shared appetizers were also delicious. Nothing to complain about here. The menu has much to choose from if you want something other than the lunch special

We had theatre tickets so they put us in the express section of the restaurant. They were prompt, attentive and the meal of chicken breast with rice and beans was so delicious. i have also eaten in 2 other pio's and very consistent . Just fabulous

Went here again this year on our annual trip to the Big Apple - had the avocado salad and Tacu Tacu...both excellent. Service is great, prices are very reasonable, and the place is huge with a large dining area downstairs. They have lots of good food here - you won't be disappointed.

Went for lunch as a recommendation from our hotel. Be careful when looking for it, we almost missed it with the sign being on the wall by the door. Deceiving when you walk in for the size, but openes up and feels like you went to South America. The staff is very helpful with making choices. We started with the tuna ceveche and then chose 2 combos- the chicken and one with filet to share. The portions are generous and delicious!

My grandson, son, and I took a trip to NYC this past weekend. My son took us to Pio Pio knowing that my grandson loves chicken and he said that they serve some pretty good chicken. He'd been there for business and enjoyed it. We went Friday night, and it was crowded - both floors. We were seated downstairs. It's the noisiest place I've ever eaten, and it took a while for my grandson and me to get used to the decibel level. The food was plentiful - we had a whole chicken, a plate full of sausages and french fries, plantains, beans and rice, and a great lightly-vinegar-dressed salad with sliced avocado, carrots, cucumbers, radishes, and tomato. Everything was absolutely delicious except the plantains, which were not ripe enough and therefore lacked taste. The chicken was moist, tender, and flavorful with just the right spice, the uniquely herbed and spiced sausage and french fry dish was very tasty, the beans and rice was delicious, and the salad was most refreshing. Our dinner was surprisingly reasonably-priced (for NY, especially!) - $42 for the spread you see in the photo. The service was phenomenal - the servers were very attentive and friendly. The atmosphere was very easy and casual ... we had a great time.

Had one of the best meals I’ve ever enjoyed at Pio Pio. The room is lovely, waitstaff was incredible and the food - tremendous! My husband is still pining for the ceviche sampler. Delicious!

We had an enjoyable Sunday evening dinner, post a play and visiting the tree at Rockefeller Center. The dinner provided a nice conclusion to a relaxing day in the City. For four people we had the barbecue chicken combo and the shrimp platter. Both entrees were enjoyable. Service was excellent and pleasant. The cocktails seemed well made and enjoyable, as well. We topped it off with two deserts for four people, the chocolate cake and the cookies. With tip for four people, the bill was $144. We had a table away from the main traffic flow and were able to be uninterrupted. Diego, our waiter was from Peru, and we were able to share experiences about our travels to his country. Food was delivered promptly and a water glass could not get less than half full. We enjoyed our dinner.

What a fun place, with great food and cocktails. The place is large and the bar is cool. There is never a very long wait as the staff is very attentive. The food is always excellent and is never disappointing.

Very friendly waiter and great quality food. Lots of space in the restaurant so not super noisy! On the pricy side though...but it is Manhattan!!

During a recent trip to New York city, we planned a dinner as an early celebration for our son’s upcoming Birthday and invited family in NYC/NJ as well as some of their friends visiting from Virginia. We picked Pio Pio8 at the 10th street location as we knew it has great Peruvian food, was big and noisy so all the children with us could make as much noise as they wanted and wanted to re-visit as many years ago pre-pandemic we enjoyed several great dinners. We were seated downstairs and Kl ever RC was our main server, helped by others. For drinks: Sodas; I sangria red jar, 2 lemonada glass and 1 Montrpulciano barona cornacchia . All great. For appetizers and main courses: Empanadas de pollo; mozzarella pio; calamares fritos; 2 whole Juanita chicken; arroz chaufa; lomo saltado; salchocha; avocado slices . All delicious For dessert Tres Leches and alfajores. Lots of food and we did have some carry-out with left overs. Service was very good. Looking forward to another visit.

The atmosphere was very cool. Dark with interesting designers throughout the restaurant. The food was delicious and the wait time was not very long. The prices were what you would expect from the city, but the portion sizes were large! My friends and I stopped in there yesterday to grab dinner before a show. I would recommend thus place.

Amazing place! If you want to spend a really good time eating tasty, go to Pio Pio! Beside the nice place, you will have a bunch of delicious food, with the best ceviche you can have out of Peru, you must try one of theme! Great value for the cost (keeping in mind you are in Manhattan).

While I don't have pics to share, I highly recommend the Pio Pio (8?) on 44th and 10th, Hells Kitchen. The host did her best to find us a 2-top at the bar as the place was hoppin' when we arrived. As out-of-towners we were not familiar with this restaurant but it was recommended by our tour guide and we are certainly glad we took her recommendation. The grilled chicken was nothing short of amazing, the portions were generous, and the service friendly. While we did not drink, we saw any number of imaginative cocktails being prepared with all the colors of the rainbow as ingredients. They looked delicious. In terms of portion, the appetizers too looked amazing but given the size of the mains, I don't think they are necessary to fill you up. Were I not a tourist, I would frequent PP8 at least weekly, the prices were more than reasonable and the chicken some of the best I've ever eaten. Thanks Chef! Sincerely, Patrick Chicago, IL

Had dinner here with business associates. The Chicken Empanadas were very good, freshly cooked with plenty of chicken. The presentation on the Chicken Causa was amazing; layered like a multi colored cake. The Ceviche mix to was okay. Personally seasoning was lacking. The Grilled Chicken was great, nice flavors and very juicy. The tostones were good the avocado slices OVER PRICED for $8.00. The Peruvian Chocolate Cake was quite good and a sweet ending to an enjoyable meal. Service was fine, dining room temperature could have been cooler.

Went to Pio Pio 8 to celebrate my best friend's 40th Birthday. We had a large group and the staff were extremely accommodating as our party grew - bringing in extra tables and chairs with no issue at all - and kept checking in on us to ensure drinks were full and our food orders were correct. The location is stunning and the decor is amazing. Will definitely return next time I am in NYC.

Pio Pio was the favorite dining spot in a week in Manhattan. Everything about the place was first rate. It’s a lively place, from the interesting, colorful dishes to the gaiety at the tables. (While we were there, there were a half-dozen birthdays being celebrated.) A note about the portions: they’re huge. We’re used to sharing an appetizer before each having a main course. Although our appetizer (calamari) was excellent, the addition of the appetizer meant that most couldn’t finish their main courses. Not being able to finish the main courses was a pity because they were intriguing and delicious—combinations of flavors we hadn’t experienced before. (We’d describe the food as half way between Spanish and Mexican.) And the service was terrific. Our server, Israel, was charming, attentive, and helpful.

Underrated overlooked. Peruvian belongs along side of New York’s kings like pizza, noodles and steak. Pio Pio is doing it’s part to bring the taste to the limelight!

The restaurant is very dark and very noisy. Service is very fast and friendly. For 4 people, we ordered 2 portions of the soup, Chupe De Camarones, and one Matador Combo. This was plenty of food for us. The soup is out of this world. The "famous" chicken is just regular rotisserie chicken.

While visiting NYC, I looked for restaurants nearby that my picky son and I would enjoy. I really loved the vibe in this restaurant even though we went there for lunch. They have an inventive cocktail menu. I ordered the empanadas; i've had them from a lot of South American countries and this was definitely one of the best. It was stuff with a stewed shredded chicken that had great flavours. And they are large! I shared the roasted chicken with fresh fries with my son. When a picky eater says that the chicken is tasty, you know the food is great. The chicken fell off the bone and was seasoned to perfection. Great portions, great service.. i definitely recommend this restaurant.

The food was delicious. Ambiance was great. Waitors were extremely friendly. You might miss the restaurant if not paying close attention. It's right before Dunkin Doughnuts.

The atmosphere was amazing, great location and the food unbelievable. This is a highly recomendable Peruvian restaurant.

Stumble upon this place and we were able to get a table right away . The restaurant looks small from outside but it pretty spacious and well decorated . Love the food , the portions are pretty big that you can share. I especially liked the jalea .

Very unassuming place, but the food is fantastic! Order the chicken combo -- plenty of food for the table. Great value -- will come back!

great atmosphere, great staff, awesome food. what else can i say. if you are in New York definitely try this restaurant. highly recommend.

Crowded but comfortable. We were seating as soon as most of the party was there (5out of 6). The wait staff was attentive with water etc. we ordered just the right amount of food for all without taking home huge amounts of food. The side portions were large enough to share which made it easy to order Chicken was tender and flavorful. Never knew that hotdogs and French fries was a Peruvian side dish. Wish someone had ordered the Lomo Saltado to sample. Oh well next time. Make sure you have a reservation!

We are Peruvians so we wanted to try some Peruvian food in NY, we were very disappointed when we tried the empanadas, tamal and lomo saltado, We were a party of 5. We did not like the food, this was not a cheap restaurant , so I felt that for the price that I paid the food was not good.

Great friendly service, excellent food and good value. We had special recipe chicken rice and beans, big portion size would highly recommend.

A Peruvian restaurant that doesn't have fish at 9pm. Plus: it doesn't seem a restaurant. It's like a disco: I have never been in a restaurant where people and employees talk so loud. Never more.

Very good food and atmosphere very father, I recommend lime ceviche and chicken roasted with rice and beans would return

I visited this restaurant on a trip to NYC about 10 years ago and it left a lasting impression…enough that I had to find it and go again (even with so many other possible options!) and it did not disappoint! The food is absolutely amazing! The stuffed pepper is the best appy! There were 4 of us and each of us enjoyed our dinner immensely. The portions are huge so be sure to go hungry. Our server and other staff were awesome and very friendly. I know NYC has thousands of options, but this is a MUST add to your list of restaurants to go to while in the city.

I'm so in love with piopio the Matador combo enough to feed three people. This place has some amazing dishes the sangria is good to accompany the meal

Although the restaurant has been around for a few years, the interior design added a unique flavor to the experience.

It’s a perfect place for a dinner anytime, the food is really good, and the cocktails are amazing. Good service and great price . 100% recomendable

When visiting NYC, we stopped into Pio Pio 8 for lunch. There were 4 of us and we ordered the Matador Combo, described on the menu as their most popular and told it was served family style and could satisfy 3 to 4 people. It did not disappoint. We all ate our fills and had food left over. The Peruvian chicken was delicious as were the accompanying beans and rice, avocado salad, french fries and roasted hot dog pieces. We 4 ate a great, filling meal, in a nice dining room, in NYC, for about ten dollars a person. The menu had other great looking options also, I'd like to return to try some.

This was FANTASTIC! We stopped in before a show at The Green Room 42 in Yotel for dinner. The interior looks great and we were promptly seated. We ordered a pitcher of sangria, ensalada de avocado, anticuchos, 2 whole chickens, arrroz chaufa with chicken and shrimp, the tacu tacu (lomo saltado with Peruvian refried rice and beans & fried egg, the maduros and salchipapapa. The salsa verde at the table is excellent! All delicious! For dessert, coffee, tres leches cake and the lucuma ice cream. The service, the ambiance and the food were spectacular. You must be vaccinated and have proof to enter.

We visited the place twice within 3 days. The food was good. The Pisco Sour and the service is questionable. If you are Peruvian or think you know how a pisco sour is made, do not expect to taste this sensational cocktail here every time you order it. The first Barman who heard my suggestions was eager to come to table and listen. And he taught me a few things. I used that learning during the second visit and the new barman did not have a clue. He said he prepares the pisco sour the way the manager tells him how to make it. Wrong. The pisco sour is made by tradition and has very strict proportions. The manager is only interested in margins. That is not hoe you make a good cocktail and certainly not how you make a pisco sour. Too bad I cannot recall the name of our fists bartender, he had the right attitude and was Peruvian. The latter one was not from Peru and that makes it harder to make a good pisco sour. Even Chileans make a better drink. Please managers, refrain from maximizing margins and let your Bartenders make a cocktail how it is supposed to be concocted. Charge a dollar more, but make it right.

Lovely restaurant and even yummy-er cuisine. Highly recommend the Juanita's Chicken, Arroz Chaufa, Ensalada De Palta. The Peruvian Chocolate Cake is the perfect ending to an incredible meal. Ambiance is very lovely and the staff is kind.

This is some of the best rotisserie chicken that I have had in a long time. Along with the jasmine rice and the fried plantains, the meal was certainly filling, inexpensive and good! Service was a little slow but friendly. the sangria looked good although I did not have any.

my wife and i each had the rice dish and were very pleased Food was great, service great and not pricey at all

We ordered a lots of food, soup, seafood, lomo beef, yellow rice, everything was delicious. I really love the roasted chicken, super juicy and tasty! And the green sauce was really really good, it was a really nice surprise!!

The vibe in this place is really cool, the food is delicious as well! We had the roasted chicken, salad, the Peruvian fried rice, and a seafood dish. All were delicious.

Excellent find. We wish we could try the whole menu . Service was excellent. pisco Sour is incredible!!! Warning Yuca dish is delicious but a lots of garlic in the sauce .

We bought the ceviche and lomo saltado and they were both delicious! I also had a Passion fruit Sour which was great. Our serve was called Cesar and he was excelent!

Went here with family and friends of my cousin who graduated. The place looks small from outside but when you get in, you get to discover that it’s actually big at the lower level. It can house a lot of people and big groups but it gets so packed due to the number of people who eats there. Reservation in advance is advisable because the place gets packed even on weekdays. All the food was good and tasty. I love the seafood paella and the chicken. Plus all the sauces that came with our food. Make sure you have enough room to try most of their dishes because it good. I would go back to this place to try other entree’s from their menu. By the way, they also serve alcohol at this place and they have a hip bar on the top level.

The food might be good, but it is very loud. We couldn’t hardly talk about the menue. So we decided to leave without eating.

We highly recommend the Corvino. Large portion, we took some of it home. Juanita's chicken is delicious, although it made me extremely thirsty later on. Service was ok, not great. It is a bit noisy in the lower level dining area. Need more dessert options. They don't take reservations for 2, so if you go after a Broadway matinee, head straight over and get seated by 5:00. We would go again.

While on vacation family of mine took our family of 4 to this restaurant, as my husband is Peruvian and were craving some good food. This place feels crowded and is kind of low lighting inside. Upon arriving the hostess/waitress greeted us and when my husband answered her in Spanish she snapped at him, that she didnt speak Spanish. It's not so much WHAT she said as much as it was the WAY she said it, she was very rude. We happened to have two umbrella strollers in tow which she once again rudely told us to leave them in a little corner. Again, I didn't care that I had to leave my strollers, it's the way she said it. After we were seated we had a waiter that was superb, his service was a breath of fresh air compared to the hostess. The food was very delicious a little pricey but good nonetheless. They didn't have chicha which is ridiculous as they are a Peruvian restaurant and they didn't have cancha serrana. I think they could afford to revisit the menu again.

Good food, Good Drinks, Nice ambiance. The menu is a little limited. Doesn't have all the Peruvian dishes like papa rellena but the Chicken matador is great, Rotisserie Chicken, comes with Salad, Salchiapa (French fries & sliced hot dog) and of course aji (Hot Sauce).

"Lets meet at Pio Pio on 10th Ave...and we try Peruvian..." said my ex-colleague in Nu York. As im studying the menu, the call comes from him : "sorry bud. Ive to scuttle on lunch...but yure there right? Yu'll enjoy the whole set-up; its your thang... speaking to you." The menu looks exquisite, though its all in Peruvian (Spanish). The waiter comes alongside ready with suggestions, i settle for the chicken rostiserie, with rice + beans, with the Aji sauce (flavourful, mildly spicy) are fantastic play if vatiegated tastes. The Cusquena -- a great peruvian beer -- is so refreshing whilst awaiting the meal's arrival, and another ordered to wash down the mild fiery notes from the Aji. The music playing gives you extra rythmn, adding to the interior wooden design of the place -- its all very cool. The bill comes in at a moderate $21 for single pax; reasonable i felt.

Thoroughly enjoyed this experience. Staff was friendly and efficient. Food was delicious. The Tacu Tacu was amazing. Flan a perfect ending. The space is very nicely done. A respite from the grime of the city. Look hard for the restaurant sign - it’s easily missed! Worth checking out!

Having checked reviews, this restaurant was more than a pleasant surprise. Nice ambience and good service combined with delicious food to make for a nice dinner. The 2 dishes we enjoyed most were the Camarones Cuzco and the non-spicy paella which by itself would have been enough for 2 of us. Given the chance, I’d definitely go back.

I’m from a small town in Ohio. I have never had Peruvian food before and I’m sorry that I hadn’t. The food was amazing. The drinks were delicious!! Staff was helpful! Probably some of the best food I’ve had all year!

This food is delicious. The server helped us pick ceviche appetisers and they were fantastic. We had the large paella and split it and it was delicious. I recommend trying one of the pisco cocktails. Very good. The decore is stylish. The restaurant is big and a bit loud but we had no trouble hearing each other. We will return.

Excellent Peruvian cuisine. The setting is very nice. We came across it because it is very close to our hotel. The staff is very pleasant, the dishes are very generous, the quality of the products is perfect! I recommend 100%

I decided to give it a try and so exited to eat Peruvian food since is one of the best gastronomy in the world. Well it didn’t go too good, server didn’t want to speak Spanish which is ok with us but because of talking to him in Spanish, he didn’t see us that well and the service he provided wasn’t that good at all. I ordered Lomo Saltado and it was very salty, rice and beams not tasty at all. My son ordered camarones al cusco (shrimp dish) and it was good. I don’t really recommended it. Restaurant was really busy, that could be the reason service and food wasn’t that good.

We came for a late lunch 1:30PM midweek. The restaurant was winding down. We ordered the Matador Combo and added steamed vegi and empanadas. There were more than enough food for 2 adults, 2 teens. Chicken has a good flavor. The sauces that came with the food were excellent. Service was prompt. Highly recommend this place.

Food was good, nice decoration and friendly staff, but expensive, specially the pisco sour that was good but found it expensive at $14 each. It was a good try for family and friends gathering.

Order their rotisserie chicken with green sauce. Extra green sauce. Never had better. You can wwlso order to be delivered.

The place is very nice, big and good option in the menu. The Matador combo is recommended for 3-4 people, it depends how hungry you are... but is normally to be quite enough. Ceviche is not really good, , even is very acid flavor so, no really recommended, but in general good place, service.... so recommended

If you happen to be in Queens New York, you must go to this restaurant for dinner. There is a wide variety of dishes to choose from and the food is very good.

On our first visit to New York City together, we went to this restaurant because it was just a few minutes walking distance from our hotel. This restaurant did not have a sign in front of it so it was tricky to find at first. We ordered the Matador Combo which included a whole rotisserie chicken, French fries and sausages, avocado salad, deep fried plantains, baked beans and rice. The food was plentiful and delicious! We didn’t wait long for our food and the service was excellent! The homemade sauce for the chicken was great! Thank you so much for having us!

Food is excellent... Service is friendly and efficient Would definitely dine here again Parking was easy on the street

We’ve been to this restaurant numerous times and the service and food is always excellent. We usually sit at the bar ... especially when Igor is there who, btw, is super nice and makes an amazing passion fruit Pisco sour.

As reservations for 4 aren’t accepted we arrived on Friday night at about 7. We were told that there’d be an hour and fifteen minute wait. I turned to leave and one of the hostesses offered to see if there was something she do for us. We waited at the bar for a little over a half hour and had drinks. the bar was packed and noisy. We hadn’t been here yet and was surprised to see how large it is. The noise levels increased as we entered the dining area with several large parties taking place. The food however was good, flavorful and plenty. Service was indifferent but staff was busting their rears keeping up. Needless to say while we liked the food we couldn’t really hear each other. Unless you’re looking for a party atmosphere, skip this place.

My family and I visited the restaurant for lunch on a Saturday. We sat at the bar and the bartendar was excellent. He provided great service and information about the various types and brands of piscos. We really enjoyed sampling the piscos. The food was excellent as well. There were many dishes on the menu, and it was delicious! We enjoyed the anticuchos and yucca as well as the fish and chicken dishes!

This place was so good, for something that seems so simple. We had a group of us and just ordered several whole chickens with rice, beans, and fries on the side. They give you this green sauce that is so yum and just the right amount of spicy. The chicken was cooked to perfection! And the sangria was delicious, too. Great first time eating Peruvian cuisine.

Throughly enjoy this restaurant. It is our go-to place with friends. The staff is very attentive and the space is very nicely done. The food is all very good, always consistent and tasty. Careful looking for the sign as we missed it on our first time there. Recommend it very highly.
We got a family share plater.
We got a family share plater. It was really good! The chicken is one of the best chicken I ever had! Highly recommend this restaurant!
