Happened to come across this place whilst looking for somewhere to eat. Was busy but not over the top. Food was good but the best thing about the whole experience was our sever, Anthony (apologies if spelt wrong). He was so friendly and helpful, not just in relation to our meals/drinks but with local knowledge too. He really is an asset to PH.

During our visit in NY visited this fantastic place. Nice decor, nice music and very friendly staff. Shout out to Tara our waitress. She has given our visit a golden lining. Thank you so much!

The place is not bad, excellent music choice that accompanies the projections on the screens. The food is what you expect. Unfortunately the service was highly disappointing. They did not bring one of the drinks until the arrival of the second course, the cooking of the meat was not that required finally they were hasty in charging us. The worst: I even left a tip and I regret bitterly, because it was not at all deserved. Definitely not coming back because I find it too commercial, too expensive for what it is, and because I would not repeat the experience.

Lovely restaurant We had 2 grinch cocktails (highly recommend) & a peachy cocktail also lovely 2 of our party had a steak burger & myself a shrimp pasta which was recommended by the waitress Our waitress was graesy (I’m sure it’s spelt like this) she was so lovely nothing was an issue 10/10 recommend

Bad place, for Noise level and questionable taste in the set up. Long wait, despite the fact that the place was not full. Quality of dishes, from bad to sufficient

We discovered by accident that Planet Hollywood had reopened at a different location. While I agree with other reviews it is not the same decor as the previous restaurant it is lovely, great atmosphere and the food is amazing. Our server was fantastic could not do enough for us. I would highly recommended Planet Hollywood to anyone visiting New York.

Good atmosphere, reasonable prices. We visited the restaurant twice and we really liked it.

New restaurant in Times Square. Tried it because my daughter has allergies and we wanted a chain with perhaps 'safe' and reliable food. Not too busy. Darkened interior. Many empty tables. Very loud music. Had to yell, at times, to talk. Server was a bit slow and inattentive, but was kind. He didn't know about specific meal ingredients so he asked the chef to come out. This was greatly appreciated. The chef was understanding and obliging--thank you! My daughter was given a meal that she could eat. She liked it. My sandwich was ok--nothing to 'write home about' but that was to be expected. Bit expensive, I thought. $80US for one kid's meal, a turkey club, and water. Only two bathroom stalls, it seemed, for entire restaurant (men and women). So, a small line-up was formed. Not much 'Hollywood' memorabilia that I have seen in other locations. It was our first night in NY and we needed an easy dinner. Likely won't return.

Food was way to spicey and the main course was served when we were eating our starters. The restaurant was not half full but they acted like it was rush hour! Bad experience, there are so much better restaurants in the area.

Planet Hollywood cancelled my table reservation 10 mins before we were due to set off, because they had a private event book out all the tables Absolutely shocking customer service, and will definitely not eating here again

Typical rich American food of the kind you would expect. The prices are not excessive to be New York. Very friendly staff. Mood enjoyable co music videos on big screens. Birthday can be celebrated

My wife made a reservation on November 7th for dinner at Planet Hollywood NYC for today, December 12th at 6:15. Yesterday we got a call to confirm the reservation and say we were all set. Well, we just got a call that they are canceling our reservation one hour before we were due to be there. This is unacceptable. We are a party of 7 with kids as young as 3 and now we are scrambling to find a place that will take us in Time Square. This is extremely unacceptable and I will never try to go back and would never recommend anyone going to any Planet Hollywood franchise. To make a reservation a month in advance, confirmed the day before, then cancelled an hour before we were set to be there is not how any business should operate.

Great location in Times Square. Food was great as always and excellent service with friendly staff. Would definitely recommend!

Themed restaurant ??? There was nothing to see on display no memrobilla ... service was rushed, given 3 star as food was ok

Me and my partner went here at lunch time and our server was fantastic nothing was too much, she gave great recommendations and great advise what a lady she was I’m sure her name was Tara. Top woman she gave us directions around the city, told us about great deals and told us about the place she lived and how we such visit her church and place. Great member of staff to have she honestly could not do enough for us. The food was amazing so tasty and cooked to perfection was a great place to eat and a great experience. Thank you Tara and Hollywood planet.

We went to the planet with some expectation. We always had in mind the old location which with a superb decor with rockets, decorations. Now it’s a brand new modern restaurant that’s not out of the ordinary. Nice big screens all over the room. Food ok, me and my daughter took the bento boxes which is a good concept but with too spicy sides (the noodles)

This isn't like any normal planet hollywood, it's pretty much a restaurant with some TVs on the wall. The food was actually pretty good for a chain pub the low scores are for our server who was that over the top it actually bordered on uncomfortable. He told us he was trying to become a manager, and the highlight was when he told us that we had to stop thanking him, he wanted to thank us for coming so he could serve us 🤢... Also the service was crap, we had to chase beers and sides... Better places to eat and cheaper

Loved this place - it was amazing. We had a lovely meal with wonderful service. Second time we have been and both occasions have been extremely happy. Chloe served us on both occasions and each time she has been fantastic! Thanks so much. Great place great food and fabulous atmosphere!

We were staying at a hotel near Planet Hollywood and wanted to find a spot for a quick, not too pricey place to eat without a wait. Planet Hollywood met our needs. Our waiter was very attentive and the food was pretty good.

I’ve always wanted to visit a Planet Hollywood since I was a kid, so it was a real treat to find one in New York while on vacation — and it didn’t disappoint! The service was fantastic from start to finish, and the gentleman outside welcoming guests really added a great energy to the experience. I ordered the club sandwich with fries, and it was delicious — definitely hit the spot. While it’s not the classic Planet Hollywood filled with memorabilia on the walls, it’s been modernized for the TikTok generation with huge screens, movie clips, and a soundtrack of iconic film themes. Honestly, I think they’ve done a great job reimagining it while still keeping that movie magic vibe alive.

If you are expecting they typical Planet Hollywood with celebrity memorabilia, you will bot find it. That being said, there are screens with videos and music all over the place. Food is good but menu is small. We had the philly cheesesteak burger that was more than enough. I substituted a salad for the fries. Initially it was charged as an addition but the server adjusted the check. One issue I do have is the bathroom. While they were very clean, there are only 2 bathrooms for a large restaurant.

the service here was phenomenal, and tara made my birthday treat and trip to nyc so special. the food was amazing and would definitely go back

If you are expecting an “old fashioned “ planet Hollywood experience ( lots of movie memorabilia etc etc ) then you will be disappointed- saw no evidence of any of this , times / things move on I suppose …. Food was good , plenty of it , good / quick service ( LOTS of upselling as you’d expect ) but no complaints , and for a restaurant in Times Square not ridiculously expensive . As I said - if you’ve been to planet Hollywood elsewhere this is completely different in decor etc .
