Pop’s Pizza Reviews

I've tried Pop's twice and both times I chose a slice that came right out of the oven and ate it right there meaning I didn't do Pop's the disservice of having it delivered and letting it steam in the box for forty-five minutes. It didn't matter. Both times, these right-out-of-the-oven slices were soft, limp and soggy without any crisp to the crust at all. As for the ingredients, (not that they could turn it into a good slice of pizza, they were standard dollar a slice bulk ingredients. Together, the lame soggy dough (I refuse to call it 'crust') and the average ingredients make Pop's a bust. If what I just described is your idea of good pizza, then, have at it. But have the decency to admit (and let your friends know) you don't know pizza.

I got a slice right out of the over so it was beautifully hot and fresh. it tasted good and was decent overall at $3 per slice. the crust is VERY thin and not crispy but since it was so thin it was not really chewy either (I prefer a chewy crust). there was a good amount of cheese and sauce. overall it was fine but I would not go out of my way to return. nothing wrong with it but not wonderful.

Great pizza! great price! Great service. We tried a pepperoni, cheese and spinach and mushroom. The spinach and mushroom was amazing!

We used to live in the area so wanted to capture our favorite pizza experience. Pop’s is basically pick up or delivery only as there is only standing room for dining. We were at a nearby hotel and used Uber Eats for our delivery and it went very well; the pizza was delivered within 30 minutes of when we placed the order online. The pies are large; our half cheese/half pepperoni was excellent. It was a nasty, rainy day so we appreciated not having to go out.

I always go to Pops when I’m in NYC I LOVE this slice! It’s hot cheesy and delicious- GREAT crust!!! The pepperoni and jalapeño is the bomb!!!

Walked into 2 pizza places in vicinity and they basically were premade crust slices. Another spot was dirty. Walked here and saw the line to get I. So knew locals had to like it. We ordered some slices and stood in the tiny area and devoured them. Fantastic! I’d have again if I was that area and needed a pizza fix

Positive first: Crust had a nice chew and flavor. It wasn’t too thick (like those imitation slices that you get at random “pizzerias” found in many parts of the US) and it wasn’t thin either. Less positive: Toppings (I had a pepperoni and jalapeno as well as a Hawaiian) were strangely bland. Needed an oomph from somewhere (salt? spices?). Cheese and sauce had no discernible flavors.

We had pepperoni, spinach and mushrooms and one more slice (something with vodka?), all VERY big and tasty pizza slices.

Great lunch spot for NY slices. Fast service, easy to order, clean. Selection of sodas and water, not much else, just pizza. Tried a slice of bbq chicken, margarita, and vegetarian, all very, very good. No place to sit, but I was picking up for takeout which they boxed up for me.

Excellent pizza and friendly staff! Outdoor eating area could use a little cleaning and some paint but overall, delicious pizza and a good value!
