Crowded but Good

By Carol Banks Weber |

Remember Ray's? Prince St. Pizza's there now, the darling of social media. Hence, the lines. Grab a slice of regular or square Sicilian (they call it something else), hope there's an opening near the small area of counters and stools. Doesn't take long. People usually go in and out. Fantastic pizza, and I ordered the thick square cut pepperoni and regular cheese.

I was a bit underwhelmed…

By Ron R |

I have always wanted to try this pizza, but the typical lines have kept me away from the counter. Yesterday, there was a reprieve, if you will, in the number of customers in the queue and I was able to order a slice of pepperoni pizza with no delay. It was certainly very good — lots and lots of pepperoni — but, I would have preferred a thinner crust.

Ruined experience

By TMG |

Tonight in finally got the chance to stop at Prince street pizza. The line wasn't too long so I gave it a try. First, I want to be clear that the pizza was genuinely delicious but the experience was horrendous. The person working the cash register showed a lack of respect for us paying customers. He was rude and shouldn't be dealing with customers.

Fast, messy and scrumptious!

By theaztecprincess |

Do not miss this place, just look for the green sign and the line! The Sicilian style pepperoni slice is the only thing you need to know about this place. Roll up your sleeves and grab plenty of napkins.

Delicious!

By Didojen |

Reasonably priced pizza in one of NYCs most expensive neighborhoods. This is a tiny, tiny pizza spot but what they lack in restaurant size they deliver in some super tasty pizza. My husband grabbed a slice of pizza and I ordered the Sicilian style with pepperoni, both were delicious. The line forms to the left, as soon as you walk in, to order. Pay for your slice to the right. You can eat in if you wish but there are no tables. They have two ledges on either side of the restaurant. We took our pizza to go. If you're in the area and looking for a quick, reasonably priced meal, Prince St pizza fits the bill.

Beyond expectations - delicious!

By David M |

This pizza shop is located in SoHo/Bowery area and completely blew my expectations out the water. I knew it had a lot of celebrity attention and good reviews online, but I didn’t hold out much hope upon viewing the pizza in the shop. This being said, we get it and take it outside to eat. Believe me, that pepperoni and grandma style pizza is something else. The downside would be that they sometimes have long queues, but it’s worth the wait. Delicious!

Tourist trap, terrible staff. Average pizza

By Paul M |

Terrible staff, average pizza. Not worth the wait- go elsewhere. Went to get a pizza here as I heard it was good. Made to wait for half hour in the line. When I got in I ordered pepperoni pizza. I was told it would be 15 minutes. I said that I would wait for it. Then they told me to leave and rejoin the 30 minute cue again rather than wait in store. Staff rolled their eyes. Both the man and women working on the counter today 9/12/22 were rude. Ended up getting 3 slices of whatever was left.. Pizza was average. Tourist trap- go somewhere better

Don’t Believe The Hype?

By Eddie S |

Was in the area and was passing by this pizza spot and figured let’s try it because you hear a lot of hype about it. Honestly, the pizza is ok. Definitely not worth the hype or the price. The service was ok and the atmosphere was typical for a pizza spot.

Citi field operation disaster

By Ed K |

This review is for their citi field location. Great pizza but unbelievably poorly run. 30 minutes to get through 8 people in line. Then 2 in pepperoni slices and 1 coors light: $33. Total joke

If you are in Soho, go!

By Julie S |

There was a bit of a line, but it was worth it. I love pizza. I got the Sicilian pepperoni pizza and it was delicious. There is nowhere to sit so be prepared to stand or eat and walk. The line moved quickly and you are in a great shopping area.

Good Pizza, Not a lot of space

By Kelli |

Came here with a friend after peak lunch rush and we had a short wait to order - the line was short enough that it was barely out the door (it can be much longer here). I got the naughty slice and and a vodka slice. It was more than I could eat but I wanted to try a variety. Both were really good - great texture on the crust, good flavor, and I liked the mild spiciness of the vodka sauce and pepperonis. My friend is a lightweight with spice and found her pepperoni slice too spicy to eat for her taste, so wimps beware (I am a moderate spice enthusiast and didn’t think it was very hot at all - mild at best). There’s not a lot of seating but the two of us managed to wedge into a ledge lining the wall and eat to avoid going out in the snow looking for a place. The outdoor tables are very minimal, so don’t plan on a place to sit with a group. Definitely different from other pizzas you’ll find in the city and worth a try for something new!

Worth the wait

By Kayla Voigt |

We waited in line for at least a half hour at 3:30 Pm on a Saturday but wow was it so worth it. Sicilian style is a must. More sauce than expecting but it’s sweet and with a good crunch. Definitely understand why it’s so famous. It’s so good.

Outstanding pizza!!

By T&A Adventures |

Amazing pizza. Long lines at times, but fast service. You can get it by the slice or a whole pie. We tried the pepperoni, cheese and combo slice. All were magnificent!!

Great Pizza

By George A |

I have to admit this is the best pizza I ever had when I visited New York. However my only complaint is now that I had some of this pizza and I want more I live in San Diego every time I try to order it through Goldbelly it states it’s unavailable so I’ve been trying to get this pizza now for 3 1/2 months and I keep getting the same message why don’t you just take yourself off Goldbelly website if you can’t produce because it’s just frustratingWaiting for the last 3 1/2 months every day I check it’s sold out sold out not available that’s not good business at all I complain to Goldbelly about it but they’re not in control of what you have available so take your selves off the website so people like me do not get frustrated. Thank you George

Spicy Spring

By BamBam186 |

Great pizza with loads of pepperoni and a spicy sauce. We come from NJ once a month and buy a pie to bring home.

Naughty Pizza

By Tenisha R |

This pizza was different and really really good. I often go for olives, mushrooms and pepperoni with pizza cheese. This pizza taste like it had roccatta cheese on it. Yummy and it had a little spicy kick to it. I ordered 1 square, enough for 1 but I split it with the hubby. The pizza was edible, I've had better

A slice of deliciousness

By AGata_on_the_road |

We made Prince Street Pizza our first gastro stop in NYC. Despite the line, we did not have to wait long at all. And it was delicious. Next time, we would order less as we could hardly finish the five pieces of pizza (does not sound like much for two), but every bite was worth it.

Hip to be square.

By Bannybuc |

Went early, 11AMish to get this legendary pizza, and got denied. They had a 200 pizza order, and couldn’t serve us....so we came back that afternoon, and the manager remembered us, treated us to a few bottle waters, very Nice gesture. As for the pizza, it’s outstanding. Lots of pepperoni, crunch, and tangy taste. My favorite NYC slice. Get the square slice with pepperoni.

Great Sicilian slices

By Zarah M |

Great pepperoni Sicilian slices. Got there just before the rush, others ended up waiting a while for new pies. Minimal standing room only. Took a star off for rudeness of staff, but pizza was really good.

Great pizza, but the wait!

By Martin E |

It's a cramped little joint with a line out the door. All the earmarks for me to walk away. I was told not to. Okay, I'm glad I had a slice. It's pretty darn good. That said, I would not wait again for a slice. If there is a spot open, I'm going. If it's crowded, well.....

Very good

By eldogg1 |

Went around 2PM on a Thursday afternoon. Place is staffed by about 5 people with not much personality. I asked for a regular slice with Pepperoni. The response I got is "We don do dat". Not sure of what NYC pizza place doesn't offer your choice of toppings on regular Neopolitan pizza. But OK, on to a sicilian with Pepperoni. The slice was barely lukewarm (in spite of these slices constantly coming out of the oven), but it was quite tasty and had a definite "bite" to it. The crust was crunchy the way good pizza should be. So on balance, the slice was delicious. But the preparation was a little lacking and I'm still baffled at the lack of wanting to sell me a regular slice with pepperoni.

Really delicious pizza!

By wsrobinson |

Really delicious pizza! On a trip to visit my daughter who live in NYC, we waited in a line of 20 people or so for 25-30 mins to try the pizza. Well worth the wait. The inside allows for standing and eating only and maybe room for 8 people or so to stand along the wall at the counter. It was very good. Pepperoni was really tasty. It does hold a lot of oil/grease so you might want to dab the pizza. Otherwise, really good!

So yummy, we went back the second day!! We’ll probably stop again tomorrow!

By Holly A |

We got three slices. The pepperoni square slice and the triangle cut margarita & vegetarian slices! We LOVED all three! So much so, we went back the next day! It had the perfect crispy crunch on the bottom and delicious sauce & toppings. My daughter and LOVED it!!

I thought it was just ok but the rest of the family loved it

By Carl P |

It's definitely out of the way and a take "to go" place. There's a couple of small tables and chairs in front but it's not really a place that you'll stay and eat if that makes sense. So they make several variations of pizza ahead of time and then place your order in a pizza oven to warm it up. My meat lovers pizza was good but definitely had cold spots in it. My brother and nephew tried 4 different slices and loved them all. That being said, there was a line of people there and I even saw a couple of NY finest grabbing some slices for lunch.

I never thought I’d get emotional about pizza

By Anna B |

It was my last day walking around in NYC before having to fly back to Europe. I’d been browsing Tripadvisor for half an hour trying to find a cheap place to grab a quick bite nearby when I found this place. I thought I can’t go wrong with pepperoni and margherita, so I got a regular slice and a square. I ate my slices sitting shamelessly on the curb next to Elizabeth garden. Tears were shed. Love at first bite.

Get the square one

By Jaime S |

Hungry when shopping and wanting a quick feed after a long day I asked the assistant in a boutique where I was shopping where the best pizza was. She immediately responded “next door.” There was a small line that was out the door but don’t let this fool you it moves quickly. The staff are speedy but were still able to thoughtfully answer my questions about the best slice to get. Both the boutique assistant and guy who was serving me at the pizza store were quick to recommend the ‘square slice’. I also got a slice of the margarita. It’s not your 99c pizza store with 2 slices and a drink coming to about $7 but you really get what you pay for! I ended up coming back here two more times over my stay in NYC. Would definitely recommend!

True, delicious NYC pizza!

By Moothart |

It’s been ten years since I have been to NYC and had great pizza, so I was thrilled to taste the pies at this pizza place. It did not disappoint in flavor and texture of the crust. I was so happy and now cannot eat any other pizza, I’m ruined by the incredible pizza I had. This is not a sit down place, there are counters on each side of the line to stand and eat, if your lucky to find a spot.

Gross Pizza

By BobCatNYU |

It’s been a while since we’ve been down to SoHo (due to the pandemic restrictions). My friends & I were excited to try Prince St Pizza. However, the pizza was terrible! It tasted RANCID! The pizzas must’ve been left out on the counter, for many hours. When we brought the slices back & complained, they didn’t refund our money or offer slices from fresh pies. They cursed at us, to get the hell out. We’ve been sharing our horrible treatment, experience & the unsanitary conditions of this place, with our NYU community. #NYU

yum!

By Expatriated-traveler |

the long lines are worth it, or go early.. the spicy pepperoni square is a cut above most pizza. At $4.95, it's not the cheapest around, but it's worth every bit of it.

Excellent Pizza

By Curious Jorge |

I heard this is one of the best pizzas in NY. It did not disappoint. Excellent pizza. Had the square pepperoni and margherita. Nice and fresh. Very flavorful. I came in on a Monday night at around 9pm and there was no line. I heard this was a very very rare occasion. I took advantage and ate there then got to go. Service is pretty straight forward. Tell the guy what you want from the window. He heats it in the oven. You pay then wait for him to give you your order. They take card or cash. Sadly, they don't have any sauces to dip your pizza in. There's even a sign explicitly saying they don't have ranch or blue cheese. You don't need them anyway, but I'm sure it would enhance the pizza very much.

Okay pizza, very sweet sauce

By Katherine S |

The little pepperonis they use are amazing, but for the three of us, we thought the sauce was to sweet. I would say it was okay.

Prince St. Pizza. Tourists Stay Away!

By Bristol M |

Look, I was born on an island named Manhattan. I live on that same little island. For over 4 decades I have been eating pizza and for the last 2 I've been specifically looking for that first bite that brings me back to childhood. While I still have yet to find it, Prince st. Pizza serves up a fantastic pie. Cheese or Margherita. We order online in the car while driving down and then step between the tourists on line to go in, grab the box and get out. Usually we just eat it right there in the car. It's that good. I think the problem with some of your experiences is that you ordered toppings. You can NOT properly judge a pizza joint without having a plain slice. Period.

Get in line early

By Monika R |

Thick, toasty grandma pies and very good New York slices. Go for the pepperoni. Be prepared to wait in line though!

Best slice we had in NYC!

By reeebs |

We were on a pizza mission in the short time we were in NYC. Prince Street pizza was recommended to us and we have to say it was the best slice we had! There is always a bit of a line up but there is a reason for it. The Pepperoni is a thicker square slice which is unexpected but delish! The cheese slice was amazing. Great sauce tasty cheese and out of he 4 places we give Prince pizza the number 1 spot for pizza that we tried. Will be going back when in NYC again!

Best Pepperoni-pizza I've ever had!

By PMA73 |

After shopping in Soho we needed something to eat quickly, and we overheard a recommendatoion for this place. The que was out the door, but we were served in about 15 minutes. We tried the pepproni pizza and some cheese-variants. The pepperoni-pizza was probably the best I've ever had. The pepproni had a perfect taste, and it was so much of it that half fell off while eating. Too bad they don't have any tables; we had to eat outside at the pavement.

Spicy Pepperoni!

By Lori D |

We walked by this place a few times and there was always a long line. One day we decided we needed to try it because we were afraid of FOMO. The spicy pepperoni was delicious. We were so happy we stopped. We also got a big NYC floppy piece that was delicious as well.

Got Overpriced in my Order

By Rita E |

I visited Prince Street Pizza in East Village on June 8th, and unfortunately, I got overcharged. I ordered a slice of cheesecake and noticed that I was unfairly overcharged — I was billed uncorrected. When I brought it up, the response I received was dismissive. For a place with such a strong reputation, I expected more honesty and better customer service. I hope the management takes this feedback seriously and makes an effort to treat customers with more respect and transparency. And unfortunately, after that i saw that this kind of feedback is very common, so you need to be careful to go there, i don’t recommend.

Fantastic Slices in SoHo

By JoeKupe |

Prince Street Pizza is perennially ranked as some of the best pizza in NYC, and we heard from a friend it is as good as advertised so on a recent trip to NYC we had it on our list of stops to make. They open at 10:00 a.m. so as others in our group were doing some shopping I volunteered to go over at 10:00 a.m. to get a trial slice and make sure it was up to standards. Of course it was and we returned a few hours later and had two cheeses slices, a Vodka slice, a Sicilian slice and a Margherita slice. The restaurant is small and only has a small outdoor eating area to enjoy your slices so make sure you are OK eating on the sidewalk or a bench if you can find one because this can be one crowded area come lunchtime!

Good Pepperoni Square Slice

By GT01 |

I walked so far to get there and it was very cold that evening. Stood in line for an hour. More and more people kept getting in line. Meanwhile, the locals were going in for carry-out pies and there were deliveries going out. It’s not that big an operation. Finally got inside the door. Ordered two slices of the pepperoni square pie. Ate it outside. They were good. It seems like the line moves that slow as a strategy to keep up the hype. I guess if you can always have new clueless tourists willing to wait in line, it’s probably not a bad strategy. The TV show publicity can’t hurt.

It's one of those things...

By SebGo |

Pizza here was fine - more or less in line with other pizza we tried in SoHo and nothing exceptional. We had a slice of pesto pizza and a slice of margherita. I'd go again, but would not seek it out given all the other options in the area. Not worth the wait IMO.

Just awesome! Go for the pizza!!!!

By Jonvabeach |

Amazing. I rate this in my top three in the city. That’s big considering Una and Roberta’s are one and two! No, you won’t have amazing customer service. No you won’t have a chair to sit in. Yes, you will wait in a line. And, yes you will get an awesome amazing piece of pizza. Just be smart and time it when you’re near here and just need a quick bite. Line moves VERY quick. Just go. The pics don’t lie.

Very good NY pizza

By ecotait |

Went on the recommendation of a New York friend of mine and was not disappointed. Line took about 20 minutes at lunchtime on a Saturday; pizza came out fresh from the oven. Slice was generously sized, well prepared and tasty! Not much space to eat, but we crammed in at the standing bar. Even better for takeout, if have a place nearby to eat (while it's hot!)

Get the pepperoni square

By momwithkid_8 |

Pepperoni square was awesome. Even though I’m not a big pepperoni fan, those pies were turning out of the oven quickly. I opted for the popular choice and it did not disappoint. Be careful not to turn your mouth!

Worth the hype!

By mhershey |

My daughter made sure I got to try this pizza while in New York, and now I know why. Indescribably good! Puffy and crisp with the most delicious sauce. I just tried the cheese-- some of the best I've ever had.

Best square slice

By Juan G |

One of my most favorite NYC pizza places ever the square pepperoni slice is to die for super recommend this spot !!!!!!!!

Pizza Spot

By Adriana0502 |

Had to try the pizza while visiting New York after reading several reviews I decided to try them out. This place is tiny and it's packed we went there for lunch and they had a line outside the door along the side walk. It does not have any seating and a very small area along the wall where you can eat your slice of pizza standing up, good luck finding a spot. The pizza was pretty yummy me and the hubby both got a slice of pepperoni. It's very greasy they use thick pepperoni which they cook to a perfect crisp consistency. Make sure to grab lots and lots of napkins. The staff is very friendly even though they are super busy.

Yuck!

By KenandKara D |

Horrible pizza burnt crust, no flavor sauce! 🤮we bought three slices and throw them out! Get a slice at Johns on bleecker or the 99 cent better! A lot better!!!

Food poisoning after Salami Pizza

By Martin B |

We ate the spicy salami pizza and had food poisoning afterwards. The salamo was probably bad. my son spit the whole night. I had diarrhea. My wife was ok. She eat a different pizza.

Spicy Pepperoni!

By Future Dog Farm Owner |

My husband and I decided to create our own little pizza tour and try out a few of the pizza places in the Village/LES area that were allegedly the best pizza. Based on the reviews, I put Prince Street Pizza on our list. We both got a slice of the pepperoni square. We got there at about 7:00 on a Friday night and waited in line for approximately 20 minutes. This pizza is ABSOLUTELY incredible! I’m not generally a fan of the thick crust pizza, but this was so delicious and amazing. The sauce itself was sweet, but the pepperoni was spicy. It was a perfect balance. Already dying to go back!

Pepperoni Sicilian style

By SchnTkkr |

The place is very busy. Pick up your slice(s) and move along. It is a cash only place. Slices of Pepperoni are greasy, rich and delicious. The pepperoni is thick, crunchy and spicy (and add a real bite). I also had their Margherita slice- very good not great. Must have a SoHo experience!

Nice pizza

By PH |

We got s few squares of pepperoni pizza for take out. It was really tasty and full of pepperoni. Would recommend!

Pepperoni Square Pizza is AWESOME!

By MarcyA55 |

Hands down, this is the best pizza I have ever eat in my life! It has the best flavor and seasoned perfectly! Had to wait in line but it was so worth the wait! I live in NC and if they could ship me pizzas (even frozen ones), I would order them often! I love Prince Street pizzas!

Great Pizza

By Conall M |

Great pizza in a nice part of NYC. Had the Soho Square which was excellent. Easy to get to and worth the journey.

Go elsewhere

By daikin |

This place is way overrated the pizza is bland taste is really mediocre service is below average combine that with a long wait time makes me not want to come back

Wow

By jackier1901 |

I love a slice of pizza and so being from the UK i looked up where best to have a slice in NYC and I was not disappointed. Incredible. I had the pepperoni square and my boyfriend had a slice of a pesto olive one. Both wow wow wow. If you like pizza. Go

OK pizza with No gluten free options

By Mark H |

We waited about 20 min to order, which was really good I understand. Lines can be longer. No place to sit inside. Trash cans lined up outside so that when you eat on the sidewalk, you can throw your box away. Pizza was good but not worth the travel time and wait. They are fast there. pepperoni was really good. No gluten free options.

Good pizza

By L Tran |

I am not a pizza person, but this is quite a nice find after I was brought to this place by an out-of-towner. The place was small with no seating. There are some small tables on the sidewalk for guests to take turns, so it is quite a struggle to get a seat. I had the pepperoni, and it has a nice crunchy crust, right amount of cheese and flavorful sauce; quite delicious.

NY pizza!!

By Jenny M |

We went for a tour of Old St. Patrick’s and couldn’t leave NOLITA without some authentic NY pizza. The line was out the door of this small grab and go pizza spot, but almost everyone there were locals so we knew it was the place to go! It did not disappoint!!

Best Pizza in NYC!

By Toby P |

Some of the best pizza we've ever had in our lives. Definitely recommend making a trip out here and stopping at the cupcake shop across the street for dessert.

Holy Pepperoni !

By waayback |

You have to try the peperoni slice. thick sliced meat and a ton of it. I really wish they would let you stand inside to eat..

So Delicious!!!

By Steve H |

Sauce and pepperoni on the SoHo has a little kick...sauce at the crust was even better...love the little pepperonis

If you go to one place in NYC for Pizza...make sure it is here!

By chad s |

I don't care if you wait outside for 20 minutes. The line will go fast and it will be worth every single bite you take. While you are in line you can look at the tons of celebrity photos that adorn the walls. The list of famous people who have eaten there is endless. The pepperoni sicilian slices are an absolute must. Something about the sauce that makes it so good. It's got a little sweetness to it but also has a little bit of a kick. Great for a midnight snack on your way to another bar in SOHO.

Quick bite for familia

By Dharmadji5 |

Spent and shoooed on SoHo, Manhattan needed energy so my daughter suggested PSP pizza. Ordered Meat Lover and Quattro cheese. Delicious and worth it walked in rain. A must try for visitors!!

Great Pizza.

By Wes R |

Lines are long, and as of Feb 2022 there is no indoor seating, and the outdoor tables fill up fast. But the pizza is GREAT.

Well worth the wait

By DaneandKatie |

Don’t walk past with out getting a slice or two. This pizza is unreal!! The best in NYC! Tell your friends too!

Brings back old memories of great NY pizza

By VickiFaith15 |

Amazing!! Mouth watering delicious. Perfect balance of sauce and cheese. Great flavor. Fresh ingredients.

Gotta try the Naughty Slice!

By jacquigjb |

This was on our bucket list of pizza places to visit during our trip and it did not disappoint. The Naughty slice was sooooo good! It has ruined me for other pizzas. The staff was very friendly and the line was quick! Would definitely recommend stopping buy and getting a slice!

Square pizza worth the wait

By Lemon_36 |

We randomly saw a line outside this place and decided it must be worth it...it was! We shared a pepperoni square - little cups of greasy heaven. $8/slice ish

Gross and Cold

By Hailee Romari |

Me, my boyfriend and, baby girl and his son went to this pizza place in october. We had pizza but it was very fat. The pizza looked like it was already returned and then given to us. It was cold so we went back to the servers. My boyfriend said it was cold and they said that we where lying to us. So we had the cold pizza. We tried to eat it. It was very fatty. It looked like someone put oil on it. My stepson had the pepperoni pizza. He was feeling sick after he ate this. But I found a hair in the food. There was an black hair on my boyfriends pizza ! He has brown hair and I have blonde hair. We just threw it away. I would rather go to di fara pizza the pizza there are so good and the servers are so lovely the pizza was fresh and tasty.

THE BEST pizza!

By DoraMcG |

Came across this place as we stumbled back to our hotel after a few drinks. We loved it so much we decided to try it out sober and it did not disappoint! would HIGHLY recommend!

Best pizza around.

By Frenchiebread |

Best pizza I’ve had. Worth the wait in line and would definitely return each time we visit and highly recommend this to others.

The Perfect Pepperoni Pizza Slice

By Andreas Chr 2024 |

The Pepperoni pizza slice is absolutely perfect!!!…there was not a long line and the pizza was freshly made and tasted absolutely delicious. The service was great and the staff were super friendly and engaging with all the customers!

The Original Pizza is Wonderful

By lgermano |

The Original Pizza is the traditional one with mozzarella and plenty of tomato sauce, but the taste is a sight !! The Peperoni is as said in the very spicy menu, but very tasty too.

Waste of money

By Voyager23761118227 |

$52 for a pepperoni pizza that was ruined with the addition of honey! We couldn't finish it, ended up throwing it away. I do not recommend this place at all

Delicious

By Vivey C |

You have to get the Sicilian pepperoni square. At first, I was wary of ordering this because I lean more vegetarian and the pizza looks fatty / heavy. Not to mention the long line! But oh my, that slice was worth the wait and I can't stop thinking about it. The pizza is surprisingly light and the dough is super fluffy. The pepperoni on top are delicious. I didn't feel heavy at all after eating the entire slice.

Nice pizza in a nice area but not worth the queue

By Sofiaababou |

Nice pizza in a nice area but not worth the queue and the wait time to get a pizza. They are very famous for the peperoni slice but I only got to try the cheese one which was ok.

One of the best pizza slices there is

By Ryan A |

This is pizza as it should be. A crispy yet chewy and foldable crust, excellent tasting sauce, and a great ratio of ingredients. I had the spicy sprig (an excellent pepperoni slice) and the margherita (with fresh mozzarella and basil). Both were phenomenal but if I had to choose I would pick the margherita. This is definitely worth the wait in line. There was even a line on a Wednesday afternoon when I went. People know where to go to get quality New York slices. If your looking for a GREAT slice of one of New York's best pizzas, this is definitely a top contender.

Overrated, overpriced, poor service.

By fabsies |

25 dollars for 2 slices of pepperoni and 2 red bulls? Did they just make it up? I was going to pay on card and it was nearly 27 dollars. But then they said if its cash its just 25 dollars. Overrated pizza aswell. Decent but poor customer service. Quite filling but really nothing special. Made me wait outside saying I had to wait 5 minutes. Nothing happened after 10, so went back inside and the server questioned me like he'd given me my pizza already. Go somewhere else.

Superb pizza

By peteinlondon11 |

Trust me - this pizza is not overrated. I was in New York for a week and went twice. I had to queue the second time but it’s worth the wait. Order the Sicilian and the pepperoni- you will not be disappointed. Tip: the queue moves fast so if you have about 20 people ahead of you allow about 15-20 mins.

Busy but good

By SB |

Recommended visiting here by a friend who lives in NYC. Soho was unusually quiet when we visited but PSP was PACKED. It was lunchtime to to be expected perhaps. As per a previous review, there was no friendliness or experience to the visit. Stand in line, order with slightly moody guy, pay lady, stand and wait. So the experience wasn’t great but the pizza was sensationally good. Maybe when it is not so busy the staff might be a little more friendly.

The best pizza in the whole world!!!

By Edgard S |

The best pizza in the whole world!! Thank you for making my day the best so far in this vacation!! I loved it a lot and I enjoy the pizza!! It tastes so fantastic especially “The Pepperoni one”. Thank you so much

Amazing pizza and lovely staff!

By Melie S |

Amazing pizza and lovely staff! Would absolutely recommend:) It’s worth standing in line for, so if you’ve seen the hype and wondering what it’s all about you should take a chance and try it:)

Get the pepperoni square

By animalhousewife |

This is not your normal slice, the pepperoni square. I'm a pizza fanatic and this slice was awesome. It's thick and chewy and has a frico crust (with crispy burnt cheese on the edges), and has that beautiful, spicy, curly pepperoni. My husband and I lucked out and showed up just after they opened and beat the line, and we loved our slices. Total win.

Pizza to go

By NQuoryo |

It’s good pizza but nowhere to sit & eat. Used to be 2 sides with stools to sit on but now a long line on one side & stand on one side to eat. Can be hectic then staff becomes rude. Sad but true.spicy Square Pepperoni pizza is still as good as before. Portions ok. will take it out and eat It somewhere if they allow it maybe across the street in the bakeshop.

Highly disappointing indigestible pizza

By Esguevillas |

This is not a good pizza, honestly. The highly rated reviews and the long waiting queue at the entrance created a high expectation, which turned into a huge disappointment when we got the pizza. It was extremely greasy and indigestible, not just because of the fatty pepperoni, but also due to the greasy cheese, that didn’t even melt properly but rather had a plastic texture.

Absolutely delicious!

By lcdajohannecortes |

You will be thinking about this pizza all the time after tasting it. It’s worth the line, it’s worth the trip, it’s worth the price! You MUST try it... you won’t regret it. Best Pizza Ever!!

One of the best pizza in NYC!

By Yubin G |

The pizza lives up to the hype, definitely one of the best pizza in NYC. I frequent NYC and have been to several popular pizza restaurants. The pizza at Prince Street is different from your typical new york slice. I got the Sicilian square with pepperoni and it's one of the best pizza I've ever had in the city. It's definitely worth the wait!

Our New York Trip

By Mauro1990 |

This is a terrific place to have an authentic slice of pizza-Italian style. This place is located in “Little Italy” area. Expect to wait because the place is very small like the size of a small bedroom and there is not much room to move around. They cook the pizzas ahead of time and when you order your slice they put it in the pizza oven to heat up. You have a few choices, squared pizza, regular slices which consist of margarita, cheese, pepperoni etc. You will not be disappointed. The pizza has a thin crust like it should be exactly like they do in Italy. They also have soda, beer, and water. The staff is very friendly.

Greasy and YUMMY

By Michelle Mugnaini |

Wait in line - yes, its worth it. Grab a slice and enjoy the deliciously greasy pepperoni! Not a traditional thin slice, it is a thicker crust and very good. Not much room inside at all, and it is standing room only. Be prepared for a grab and go.

The best pizza ever

By Mat |

It was so delicious that I had to come to eat it everyday 😋 The tomatoes sauce was so fresh and tasty!!! I'm looking forward to eating this pizza again!!!

Yeah

By Roy H |

Awesome eats. Will go there again and again. I would walk 5,000 miles to keep shops like this in business. Honest prices for quality food.

Must go!

By MonikaR_1207 |

One thing is guarantee, that you will Remember the taste of thier pizza forever...they are sooooo good! If you're hungry or not, you should have thier classic 🤗 Whenever in New York.. Will be Coming here

Best Pizza

By Gurleen |

There is always a line when you get here but its totally worth standing on line (which goes pretty quick) for this pizza! They are famous for their pepperoni pizza, but since I'm a vegetarian I get it without the pepperoni and I still think its fantastic! @traveleen_gurl

Amazing pizzas!

By Grace |

Just go ! The pizzas are veryyyy tasty and around 3,30/slice ! They ate fresh and just out from the oven ! The queue is long but it’s worth waiting the 20 min

It was cold out when I was

By GetAway4us23 |

It was cold out when I was visiting New York and our group saw the reviews at this place so we decided to give it a try. When we arrived there was a line out the door. It was freezing but that had to be a good sign. So we ordered a large pepperoni for us 4. The pizza joint only has a limited counter space which we snatched up by luck. No sitting area inside, it is a take out pizza place. When we got our pizza it was a good size rectangular box. When we opened it up it looked like a piece of art. Square slices packed with so many curled up crunchy pepperonis that they fell off as you picked up the slice. The corner slices were a perfect 10. No sagging pizza with delicious sauce, cheese, pepperonis, and thick crust heaven. The only negative was the other slices other than corners were saggy. Aside from that it was an outstanding pizza. Cant wait to visit New York again and hit this place up.

I’m Dreaming of It Still

By Clint Arthur |

I walked in on a snowy day and waited for fresh square pepperoni pies to come out of the oven. A lot of people were waiting. I scored two slices and a bottle of coke. Tools it outside and ate in the snow. Now I’m remembering it and dreaming of my next visit. I’m ruined for other New York pizza. Everything else these days is so lame.

Amazing

By Mikey G |

So good I had to go back twice because I was craving it so bad . Note there isn’t any space to comfortably eat since so just google parks around the area like I did and enjoy that yummy pizza .

Best Pizza I’ve had in 29 years

By deobaldia |

I just wanted to use this space to thank Strictly Dumpling for recommending me this place in his YouTube video.

Great pizza, if you don't want new york style pizza

By gww19 |

This little hole in the wall serves great pizza. However, it does not fit the typical NYC style pizza. The crust is thicker, which I personally prefer, but I know many people seek out the thin crust. If that's you, go elsewhere. If you want tasty pizza, and don't mind standing, try this place. I couldn't really read the menu, just pointed at what I wanted, but what I had is what I would recommend. A nice rectangle piece of pizza, loaded with pepperoni.

Amazing pizza. Be patient with the line!

By Todd Kippen |

The pepperoni square is exceptional. So much pepperoni! Be patient with the line... this was a hidden neighborhood gem that just blew up over night... staff is doing the best they can to accommodate the growing crowds. Luckily, I was warned about the line (maybe 20 minutes?) beforehand, so knew what to expect. Also be careful when eating, it's a greasy delight!

Just get the line - you'll be glad you did.

By Nathaniel B |

It was cold. Really cold. We were waiting outside in line for ages. Then inside for more ages (okay about 20 minutes in all). They we got three slices of something that made me want to go back and sue everyone who's ever sold me a pepperoni pizza - they were lying. This is the gold standard. I burnt my mouth on this perfectly-charred, lava-hot late-night square of heaven: repeatedly. I kept eating through the pain - oh, I could have let it cool but it was perfect. On second thought, don't eat there - it will destroy pizza for you. You'll just want this.

good but nothing to rave about!

By Lori M |

we liked the pizza but don't get the hype. granted, we didn't order their most special item, the pepperoni square, so perhaps that's the disconnect. the "plain" regular pizza slice was quite good, but not any better than dozens of other fantastic spots across the city. we also had one with smoked mozz. the smokey flavor was nice but eh, not that great. finally, we had the one with vodka sauce. both of us found it lacking in flavor and didn't understand what the big deal is about this pizza. we didn't have to wait in line but usually there is a long one. I guess if you are not in NY often and you want a good slice go for it. otherwise, skip the line and eat at a ton of other places just as good.

NYC’s finest!

By G.M. |

The best Sicilian slice you’ll find anywhere! We got 4 Spicy Spring slices to share between 2 of us after a night bar-hopping in lower Manhattan and it was more than enough. Delicious, chewy dough with tasty sauce and tonnes of crispy, salty pepperoni. What more could you ask for?!

Great pizza

By Love to go places |

Awesome pizza! We both loved our slices. And they were huge. We were so lucky to find this place at 11pm. One of the best pizzas I've ever had.

Best pizza in New York

By Lhotse |

This is hands down the best pizza my wife and I have ever tried. Get the sicilian pepperoni slice. It's really not much to look at, but it is the best. We've been there all 3 times we have visited NYC. Actually the last time we traveled there, it was the first thing we did after getting off the subway from the plane ride. Will go here every time we come back. Know what you want ahead of time. The guy will be asking you as you are standing in line out the door.

Pretty bad.

By Travel crazy |

This has to be some of the worst pizza I’ve ever had. We got the regular circular pizza with pepperoni. 30+ dollars US. It arrived with a random basil on one slice that looked burnt. The pepperoni were clumped together as if the person couldn’t give a damn. Was my husband’s first experience with NYC pizza which many of my family raved to him about but this experience was a bit of a horror show. It tasted like a big great piece of sludge. Do better!

Pizza was bar none, THE BEST

By Vince D |

Born and raised in New York I have eaten at countless pizzerias. This is bar none the best..... i couldn’t imagine eating at any other pizzeria. It would always be a disappointment if I ate anywhere else.

Amazing pizza.

By Danielle R |

Had a slice of the boozy Broome each. Second favourite slice of the week. There’s a lot of choice for pizza in New York but I would definitely come back here! Service is swift even when busy and the pizza was hot and delicious.

Great pizza!

By Kevin B |

I hadn't been here in 6 years as I moved out of the northeast and it was so much fun being able to come back and bring my wife here to try the pizza. We stopped by midday in June and the lines weren't too bad overall. We got a few slices and the pizza was just as good as I remembered: the crust is flavorful with crispy edges and the pepperoni cups were just so delicious! The pizza is very filling, so I'd suggest a slice per person if you're hoping to have other snacks when walking around the city. It's great and I highly recommend it!

Worth the Hype

By Amy T |

We were in the neighborhood and friends of ours couldn’t stop raving about the pizza here so we thought we’d give it a try. I am glad we did. It is tiny and you may have to elbow your way to the little counters along the sides of the restaurant where people stand to eat their slices, but you will be glad you did. We got lucky and there wasn’t a huge line. We each got a classic Sicilian style pizza with pepperoni. It was absolutely loaded with pepperoni and the crust was nicely done with the right amount of caramelized cheese around the sides. Sometimes I find Sicilian too bready but they strike the perfect balance between crust, toppings and cheese. I highly recommend it.

“Pepperoni Siciliano Perfection”

By Lynn S |

Perfect slice of siciliano pepperoni pizza 😋 it has the right amount of sauce, good amount of spicy pepperoni, on a great light crispy dough. We went there on the second day in NY, waited in line and tried the pepperoni thick square sliced pizza. All the way back to our hotel we talked about how amazing it was with the texture and flavors. On our last day in NY we decided to go back for one last slice of this incredibly delicious slice and so happy for another delicious experience.

Simply the best!

By Michael B |

During my recent visit to NYC, my daughter introduced me to Prince Street Pizza. What an experience! There may not be enough superlatives to describe the intense goodness of their pizzas. I sampled three varieties, and all were fantastic. I particularly liked the vodka sauce. The next time I'm in New York, I know where I'm heading!

Lucked Out with Short Line

By TheLeongOhana |

Visited twice during our NYC trip and enjoyed our pizzas both times. We lined up but in no time at all we were inside. On the wall listed all the pizzas and calzones they offered but we ended up making our decision by just looking at the display case full of pizzas. Service was a bit rushed and lots of activity going on behind the counter with pizzas popping in and out of the oven, serving and paying all in a cramped area. While there was a counter inside, they did not let anyone eat there and yelled a couple time to make sure people went outside. Limited tables and chairs were situated on the sidewalk under a small covered lean to. Many people ended up just standing along the sidewalk chowing down their pizzas. Foregoing the traditional round pizzas, we chose the SOHO Squares each time. Great flavor and a little kick from the Vodka Fra Daviola. Popular pepperoni came with thick slices, gooey cheese and loved the crunchy crust. Discount applied when paying by cash.

Wonderful pizza

By ferplop |

One of the best pizzas I've tried in NY. We enede there by chance and it was all a discovery fir us.

Great taste, good topping, let down by the dough

By Out of Office Wanderers |

We came on the basis of the buzz about the pizza here, and tried the pepperoni square slices. They are generously topped, the sauce is great and overall a very tasty slice. Unfortunately, one of the two slices has dense, collapsed and basically raw dough. The other was also a little undercooked. The taste was still great, but slightly disappointing given the hype. There is a small area outside to allow people to eat under the current covid restrictions, which is a nice addition.

A Lot of hype, and decent

By Jaime Ang |

It has a lot of hype, decent pizza but the pepperoni kind of just sits on the slice and prone to fall off. Overall good taste.

Good, long line

By JenRed2014 |

This place has great pizza, that’s a given. But…it didn’t taste much different than 100 pizza places in NYC with equally great typical NY pizza. I was expecting something epic! After waiting in the very long line, I would safely say I wouldn’t make a point to go back there. *while waiting, several customers behind us in line ordered online and then picked up before we got to the counter. It’s definitely a work around for waiting.

It’s okay

By Pete L |

I don’t understand the hype. I was thoroughly disappointed because I was expecting to get blown way and the pizza was okay and nothing special. I had better pizza in Philly ( Santucci’s original square pizza). I went today and waited 1 minute and finish my pizza less than 5 minute. The pizza was little over the salty size. Will I come back yah maybe, will I make a special trip out of my for that pizza, nah!

Best pizza in NYC!

By Caroline |

Waited for an hour for Prince Street Pizza... only because we know it’s the best pizza in the city. Would happily eat it every day. Recommend the plain grandma slice.

Amaaaazing pizza

By dorisgrimby |

We happened upon Prince Street Pizza because the sales assistant in the nearby Nike store recommended it to us UK tourists. It was worth it - a tiny take out place which clearly has a great reputation from the queue outside, just try it for a carb and calorie loaded memorable slice of New York pizza... if you want to eat in at the stand up side counter - ask for a plate. Probably a good thing to do as there’s no where really to eat it unless you’re staying close by. My son, somewhat of an expert , said it was the best pizza he’s had in a long time- really good!

amazing pizza

By Brent788 |

So this place has been on my short list in the city and I finally decided to go for it... it was 9pm on Saturday Night and this place had a 30 minute wait in the cold!!!! I never thought I'd wait this long for pizza but omg it was so worth it. In fact, I even went back before I left yesterday just to eat there again.

mail order pizza

By joea800 |

interesting, VG, but far too much unless you are hosting a big party; also need greater variety in toppings, a full sheet of perperoni is just toooo much; thick slices, good chew, stores well; but in baltimore, Mathews is abetter value and a quantity you can order

Nice but had to wait

By heather12345 |

We visited on a weeknight evening and had to queue for about 15minutes.enjoyed the cheese and margarita slice.husband liked the pepperoni.

Worth it

By travers19 |

I decided to make my way to Prince St Pizza after writing it down in my recommendations on my first trip to New York. There was a queue outside which annoyed my mom a bit, but I wasn’t fussed to wait. Inside, a very polite woman asked what I wanted, and I opted for pepperoni. A different man took payment and after about 20 mins I had my pizza. The picture does it injustice if anything. It was honestly delicious. Lots of pepperoni and I wish we had places like this in England. Worth the trip!

Tasty famous pizza

By Joona S |

There is a queue, so be prepared. Service is below average, even bad, arrogant. Food is the one that keeps this place running. And obviously all the fans who keep coming back or tourists following the reviews. Best pizza ever? I doubt. But good enough to visit when nearby.

Not good

By Rachel_Cohen22 |

The place is basically a touristy trap. My slice of pepperoni pizza tasted nothing special. The cheese on top was the most weird part as it had the texture of melted marshmallow. And it tasted like nothing. Overall not worth the wait and I wish I went for a typical NYC pizza slice.

Amazing!

By Jordy M |

Accidentally passed here and didn’t realise it had such a name, wasn’t even hungry but couldn’t resist a slice! I got the margarita pizza and it was sooo tasty. Perfect combination of crispy and sauce!!

Yum!

By Liz B |

We did our own walking pizza tour while in NYC and stopped here. I really enjoyed the slice I got which was the Buzzy Broome Pizza and DH got the Fancy Prince which was also good. Of the stops I made, this was my favourite.

Best Pie in Town

By Liam Johnstone |

Was told to go to Prince Street Pizza and just so happens I was staying toe blocks away. The pepperoni slice is a must try!

Pizza Pilgrims Prince Street

By Alexander M |

I went here with two mates last night. Was a really chilled place to go and eat and play some free arcade games. I had a custom pizza with garlic bread. Would fully recommend to anyone in the area to try it out! :)

Best Pizza in Soho

By Rae |

Prince Street Pizza is pretty amazing. I've refrained from writing this review because I predicted that one day Prince's would let me down and I would have to revoke the five stars. After my 10th time eating their pizza, I can tell you without a doubt, the best slice in Manhattan. They are known for their pepperoni pizza, which is my favorite to order. Tip: Go towards closing time, to avoid a line. If you want another way to avoid the line, message me:)

Good pizza but just a number

By LauraGsatx |

I had the opportunity to visit Prince St. Pizza today. It was my son’s choice because he heard so many good reviews. This is a thick pizza and actually pretty good for someone who prefers thin pizza. However if I was to compare it to Bleecker St. Pizza that I had the day before it does NOT compare. The main difference is the service. Bleecker St welcomed me with open arms as soon as I walked in the door. Prince Street pizza I was just a number and not once did was anyone greet a customer, smile, or thank them. It was like a cattle call getting the people through the line. The only thing I heard them say was ‘don’t stand in front of the door’...In an angry tone. This place may be for some but not for me...they need to learn customer service with a smile!

Good pizza. Not the greatest.

By Geralt R |

It is good pizza but not the way the people say 'best pizza in NYC'. Too long wait time. I think scarrs, Joe and Pat's and Joes are better.

Experienced pie makers

By MattMichigan |

These guys and gals know how to get the most flavor out of meats by how they cook and burn them some. By far the best pie I've seen in a long time. Highly recommend.

Worth the wait

By Lovetotravel22 |

Lives up to its hype! The pepperoni cups are delicious. Be sure to grab extra napkins, as it’s greasy.

Worst customer service ever.

By Sydnee |

Waited in line and ordered a slice of pepperoni pizza. I was never handed a slice and mentioned it at the register. The woman checking me out was very kind and understanding but the man cutting the pizza had a huge attitude for no reason and was smart with me when I mentioned I did not receive my pizza. I then had to wait over 15 minutes for my single slice while the rest of my party ate theirs. When I was given my pizza it was thrown on the counter. No customer should be talked to the way I was talked to, so I will not be returning here.

There's a reason the line is out the door

By garci1r |

Stopped by late in the evening while walking through the neighborhood, and was surprised to see a line out the door. We waited patiently and enjoyed the photos of the all the celebs (Guillermo from Kimmel was my kids favorite) who have been there. As we approached the counter it was clear the workers were flying around in their tiny area to keep the pepperoni slices flowing. They weren't real pleasant, but who can be when you're stuck in front of an oven slicing pizzas as fast as you can? Anyway, it was about $20 for four pepperoni square slices, and they were enough to fill the three of us who were eating. If you like spicy pepperoni and a thick crust, this is the best version of that I've ever had. Believe the hype!

Pepperoni Squares

By Aliasblue |

Waited 40 mins in line but it was so worth it. Have only ever gotten the pepperoni squares so that's all I can review but they are great.

Big slices, good value

By JLIowa |

On a walking trip one Saturday, we stopped by and enjoyed the pizza slices for lunch. Very little standing room inside, so grab a box and head out for the street. Pepperoni was popular along with the Margherita pizza. Go for one slice if you are hungry and two for big appetites. Enjoy.

Ummmmm yeah, this place rocks

By Sonia J |

Ummmmm yeah, this place rocks !! There seems to always be a line but it goes quickly! We went on a (our own) pizza / food tour (1 mile radius) and Thai was the best thick pizza !!!! They have both thick and thin but we wanted to try this. We didn't want to stay in line so we ordered a whole Pizza that last eat us three days for lunch lol! Try this place very special !

Cheese Pizza

By Miss Bonafide |

While the Cheese pizza had the right amount of cheese & sauce....still, it wasn't anything special that would make me return. It's a small spot, high traffic area & everything is rushed, so this isn't an ideal spot to sit & relax.

Very tasty, no seating.

By Nate W |

The pizza is very tasty but that is all that is available in terms of menu. Service was poor. They were tired and irritable. No parking of course. Pepperoni squares were burnt on the bottom.

Damn!

By Elyse M |

I am not one to wait in line for food for an extended period of time but I sure am glad we did. We waiting in line over an hour to get to the walk up counter to get our slices and then find a spot along the standing counter to enjoy our pizza. The pepperoni pizza squares are no joke amazing!! Even if you want a traditional New York slice be sure to also get the pepperoni square because nothing can touch it.

Stolen Money

By James |

I came here late at night and ordered two pepperoni pizzas and tapped my Apple Pay. Checked my receipt the next day and they’d charged me $112. I went on the website and the most expensive pizza is listed as $33, so this place has stolen from me. To add insult to injury, the pizza was truly awful.

The best pizza in town. Just

By Raul D |

The best pizza in town. Just order the regular cheese pizza slice and try to decipher the secret. If you do, do not tell anybody....

Great Pie in the Financial district

By Stephen F |

Great options to choose from, we have been here a few times now and ordered a different pie each time. The appetizers are bigger than expected and could ruin your appetite if you're not careful

Really great slice

By michaelsY3373UU |

Really good pizza with a crunchy chewy crust and a hint of sweetness in the sauce. The pepperoni was great. Not salty that you would need a gallon of water like other places. Try to avoid going on the weekend. The line is usually around the block on weekends. Weekday is the best. No lines. They do accept credit cards. But make sure you also have cash on you just incase the card machine is down. like what happened to me my first time waiting in line for 35 minutes when finally reaching the counter to order only to finding out their card machine was not working and I had no cash on me. The pepperoni slice I got is around $7.50.

The most delicious pepperoni pizza in New York!

By femmewanderlust |

My husband is a huge pizza lover, we basically go all around new york to try pizza anywhere we can and this is one of our top 3 pepperoni pizza places! I dare say it is my #1 because it is slightly spicy, which is the reason my husband has it as #2 on his list! Still up there though! Their other pizzas are not great, i have tried a few of them and they were nothing special! You must go and try the pepperoni! ❤️

Delicious!

By rdventuri |

Absolutely loved this pizza! Small out door eating area. Ordered on line for pick up to avoid the line. ;) Highly recommend

Can't stop talking about it

By TJ Z |

The best pizza I have ever tasted! Both the square pepperoni and margherita slice was a symphony in my mouth. Wish I had gone back again as now it's over 2500 miles away!

Dam good pizza

By Kenneth L |

We decided to try Prince st pizza after being in the area. There was lots of hype about this place from other well known pizza critics. We arrived 15 minutes after the doors opened and already a line out the door. The line starts early as this place is very small and made for takeout. Ordering can be for individual slices or for whole pies. We tried the spicy spring that was loaded with pepperoni on a square slice with fresh mozzarella. This is one of their known for slices and had a slightly sweet sauce on top of a light and airy crust. We also tried their Soho square that had a slightly sweeter sauce but very similar to their spicy spring less the pepperoni. Lastly we had the margarita slice that had a sweet sauce with fresh mozzarella on a thin crust. All three slices were cooked just right and had a very good taste. This place is getting to be well known by celebrities tourists and regular folks looking for a GOOD New York City pizzeria. My opinion is that I’ve had better pizza from some of NYC s other well known pizzerias but Prince St Pizza is definitely worth a try.

Descent Pizza, but not worth the wait

By Katie |

This spot is frequented by celebrities and bloggers who post mouth watering closeups of melting cheese and glistening ronicups. The itty-bitty store front is no stranger to a line, made obvious by the unused scansion to the side, but luckily we got through in under 10 minutes. While cheese, bread, and peperoni gets my dopamine pumping, I was disappointed with the slice. The peperoni was spicy and there was the perfect amount of cheese, but the base was too bready. It was like someone slathered some toppings on a loaf and threw it in the oven. Each flavor was competing against one another rather than coming together for a cohesive, taste bud journey.

This was the pizza I was looking for!

By beausaunders |

I've been hearing about how good NY pizza is my whole life, and visiting I was eager to taste these amazing slices. Unfortunately, I visited some of the more well-known spots and was quite disappointed with pizza that didn't have much flavor and was overly greasy. A NYC resident and friend told me to hit up Prince Street Pizza and have the square cut pepperoni. I made the trip down on one of my last days and was really glad I did. While it was a little greasy, the flavor was really good with fantastic crust and pepperoni. I'm sure there may be better slices yet to be found, but if you're in a pinch, this place doesn't dissappoint.

Best pizza in NYC!

By rbinsunnyfla |

On a recent visit to NYC we saw the great reviews and decided to stop in and try it. The place was packed with people standing, eating pizza and even though there was a long line, it went pretty fast. We shared a slice of the Sicilian pepperoni and 2 slices of the tomato/cheese Sicilian. They were out of this world delicious! Also, very reasonably priced for NYC - definitely a good value. I'm craving a slice right now as I'm writing this!

dripppppin

By John Roberts |

waited in quite the line for a slice of this pizza. worth every minute of wait and sweat. juicy pizza with juicer pepperoni. highly suggest eating with napkins

Pretty Good Pizza

By Adam |

We made a special trip to Prince St. while we were in town because of all the great reviews. It was pretty good but I'm not sure why all the celebrities go here. You stand in line at all times of the day for pizza that isn't really worth that much effort.

OMG!

By GregTheFirst |

OMG! That's what my family and I kept saying after getting our hands on slices of pepperoni heaven. I read numerous reviews praising Prince Street Pizza so highly that I thought we had to try it. Believe the hype. One visit and you'll be adding to it.

Good choice for a slice or two on the go.

By Joseph M |

I had two traditional round pizza slices - a veggie and a buzzy Broome vodka sauce. They were both. The veggie was better. No special taste to the vodka sauce pizza -- it was much like any cheese slice I've had. Crowded and trendy. Eat standing up or take-away. Typical service and pricing ($5 to $7). They also service "Soho Squares" or Sicilian style pizza.

Wow!!

By Sarah H |

Waited in line for about 20 minutes and it was worth it!! The square slices of pepperoni and cheese pizzas were some of the best pizza I’ve ever had. Definitely a must when in NYC :)

Amazing Sicilian pizza

By seema60 |

We went to have lunch at this pizzeria in Soho. It’s very popular so there was line up. The square spicy pepperoni is their speciality. We also had the veggie round slices with some pop. Everything was delicious.

Beware of getting over charged! Check the receipt!

By 4Cents |

This is a place my teen kids visit when they hit the area. So this time when they asked us to grab some slices after our China town stroll, I ordered 5 slices and was about to pay. The young girl at the counter appeared close to age as my daughter so even though it was a take out, I pressed 25% tip to the actual amount. I grabbed the pies and once inside the car, I glanced over the bill only to find they had charged me $4 more for two waters which I never ordered or received. I went back to the store and told the girl that she accidentally charged me for water, the same sweet girl’s demeanor changed. Instead of apologizing and giving the money back, She asked me "So what do I want" When I said I want my money back, she didn't even had to look at the receipt how much she charged me or never verified whether I was bluffing but quickly gave me $4 smirking at another co worker. As I took the money i told her that to be careful when she charge customers. She apparently dint like that and shooed me away with a hand gesture yelling “move” and yelled at the other customer "next"! If the manager wants to know, this employee was the young girl at the counter on Aug 16, 2022 at around 9:20pm. The fact that she gave me $4 without even going through my receipt confirmed that it was intentional. Also the fact that she smirked at her coworker also is making me think they are all in this together nickeling and diming a trusty customer! Probably due to my age, they thought I was an unassuming tourist and that I would never return to question. I went through some reviews which also has complained that they over charge. So please be careful!! The pizzas is okay but nothing spectacular for the price they charge. If you want legendary pizzas hit up the two stores in Brooklyn. The fact that I even gave 25% tip on those waters ( so I paid $5 and not &4) and she never gave me that extra money back also irritates me but you live and learn I guess.

Pizza vs People

By Wrock14 |

Loved the Sicilian square. I will be back because I am a foodie. The problem was with the attitude behind the counter. This is a small stand up place and you sometimes have to wait for your order in line. We and many others were treated poorly by a man working the pizza service. Short temper and bad attitude to people paying for a product. If this happens again the rating will go way down. The saving grace was of course the pizza. Please do something about your angry employee Prince Street Pizza!

May be the best pie I’ve ever had

By RVcornell |

This place is as legit as it gets! I am a huge pizza fan and the pepperoni pies here are off the chain... the other kinds are almost as good! They may not be the friendliest bunch, but I’ll look past that for a slice this good. The walls are covered with celebrity endorsements and all I can say if it is good enough to fuel the punisher it’s good enough for me!

Best Pizza!!!!

We were in SOHO and heard about Prince Street Pizza and decided to try it. Possibly the best pizza I have every had. The pepperoni square is a must. There is always a line but it moves really fast. No where to sit but there are 2 counters. Most people took their pizza to go. I can't wait to go back next time we are in NYC.

Just try it for yourself! WORTH WAITING

Believe the hype, it’s as good as it gets. Social media, they’re plastered all over it. We had a square pepperoni slice and didn’t regret it. One bite everyone knows the rules
