Without reservation on a Tuesday night, we were seated at the best table in the house, with a stunning view of the Vessel and the setting sun. It made for a delicious meal. The brandini and the risotto were perfect. Service was on point at every part of the meal. It made for a meal in NYC that we will remember for a very long time.

Had great little lunch - every dish was good. Best Kale glad we have ever had. Hamburger was OK only but rest of the choices were excellent.

There is so much to like about Queensyard restaurant and my first impression was a good one. The host was friendly and accommodating and we were fortunate to get a table with a great view of the Vessel. And that's really the point of Queensyard as its all about the view. This restaurant affords one of the best if not the best view of the Vessel in Hudson Yards. The good customer service extends past the host as our waiter was friendly and accommodating. He didn't rush us and allowed us to enjoy the view. Another good aspect of Queensyard is the spaciousness of the tables and the generous spacing and comfort of the seating. Unlike many Manhattan restaurants we were not on top of other diners which allowed for a comfortable and relaxing lunch. Okay, so Queensyard has great service and a fantastic comfortable dining room with great views so what is the problem? Some of the food can use improving. We had several dishes including risotto, chicken and fish and while none were bad none were outstanding. Maybe we just had bad luck and it is a new restaurant so maybe a few adjustments are needed. With that said, I will still go back to Queensyard (hoping the food will be better) for the view, great service and beautfiul and comfortable dining room. This is also a great place to bring out of towners.

My wife and I were in town for a couple of days, and decided to visit The Edge (review elsewhere). We noticed this restaurant in the same mall , on the same floor as the Edge, and only a few steps away. Since I'm British, and the restaurant described itself as a British restaurant, we decided to give it a try. Not bad at all. Fish and Chips was restaurant style, but perfectly acceptable, Prawn Cocktail was much better than the authentic British equivalent, and sticky toffee pudding was everything the name implies. Excellent. Our table had an excellent view of The Vessel. Good place.

Had lunch here during the busy holiday season. Josh at the front desk was amazing, great welcome & led us to an incredible table right by the window overlooking the Vessel. Food is always amazing here - there’s something for everyone. Peach/tomato burrata and tuna tartare were amazing. Great service. A bit expensive but you’re also paying for the view (worth it). A+

The view is great and the food was fine (recommend smashed avocado and the fried pork sandwich) but we had the strangest experience with our server who was impatient and rude. She was really snippy and got upset when she thought I wasn't paying attention to her, and she walked away as my friend was ordering a drink. Otherwise, the food was fine, but the server ruined the experience.

Fish & Chips was soggy, strip steak was like from a lab, Hazelnut Parfaits was extremely sweet but the English beer was good tho!!

We arrived at the door and the hostess instead of give us a table, she showed us the menu at the door, trying to persuade us not to stay! It was so rude and offensive! Why? Does she think we couldn’t afford the meal? We was hungry and tired so we decided to stay... Thanks God, the waiter was very nice! The skirt steak was good, not awesome.

Had a pre-theater dinner here for a show that was at the Shed. Food was great, service a little slow. Views are outstanding.

We stumbled onto Queensyard after going to an art exhibition in the neighborhood, and were looking for something to eat and a respite from the Hudson Yards Mall which we somehow ended up in. The wait for a table for lunch was long, but we were offered a small table by the bar, which was fine, although we didn't have much of a view. We waited a long time until someone brought us a menu and assured us that we could get something to eat. After a while a nice young man arrived, but it was clear that he was just working at the bar and knew nothing about food, and since he spoke no English it was hard to tell him what we wanted. But he did produce two glasses of wine and a beer...all very satisfactory. After a while another person wandered by and we asked if we could order food. He said yes, took our order, and 3 sandwiches ultimately appeared. My chicken sandwich was OK, but BLTs were meh. French fries were great. We were OK with this, but it didn't stand out as a great lunch experience! So I guess you go here for the view, not the food, or to get a drink while sitting at the bar. You probably shouldn't sit at the section of the bar with tables and expect to get fed...they clearly weren't set up for that.

nice view and that's where it ends the food is quite a disappointment .avocado is like a paste and better at any Mexican restaurant, carpaccio is bitter and not eatable .steaks are so so , Cacio e Pepe is a big disappointment , deserts are large yet not that great table time limit is told to you as you sit . Celebrating a birthday with 6 people that drink does not work to well for their 2.5 limit . the bill was 1000.00 for the 6 of us as our time was up there are many other places in the city and out of the city that have the ambiance and quality of food that you will enjoy much more

Nice restaurant with great food and excellent view of the vessel. The service is great and all plates were served warm and delicious. Highly recommend for all occasions!

Great view of the vessel. Ordered ‘The Fab’ drink for $17. Kept seeing it online served in a beautiful goblet but I only got a champagne flute. Thought it was way too pricey.

One of the many restaurants in Hudson Yard mall. Nonchalent front desk and service all round. Ok overpriced food and drinks, can’t find anything too british here. And check out the ice with my whisky omg

Stopped by for a small bite, between lunch and dinner. Ordered a drink and the waiter disappeared. Had to request to order food but the waiter never checked with me after the kitchen staff deluvered the food. He did not check if the food was ok, if I nedded a drink or anything for the meal...etc. And people want to wonder about their trip. The view of the vessel and the Hudson River were the best part of this experience.

Had a nice meal here with the family before visiting the Edge Not cheap that’s for sure, but service was fantastic with food to match I had grilled octopus which was v good, with my wife enjoying tuna tartar again v good My daughters shared the salad of the FP menu which they liked For mains we enjoyed salmon, black ink squid and mushroom risotto all v good Desert we stayed the lovely sticky toffee pud all washed down with some cocktails and a chilled Pinot Grigio Thanks

Hudson's Yard is famous for its upmarket shopping; and what better than treat yourself to a fabulous lunch as well! We visited Queensyard, which turned out to be an excellent choice. Great dishes, meticulously presented, wonderful flavours. The view was amazing too. Wholeheartedly recommended!

We had one of the most disappointing dining experiences here in 30 years in New York City. We waited 45 minutes for our food. When we asked our waitress to check on it because we were really hungry, her answer: "Everyone is hungry." Maybe she was onto something. A restaurant that cannot figure out how to feed their guests. We mentioned to a manager that we were waiting on our food, he did go to check on it and came back to say "we were first on the list and it would be out in 3 minutes." We received the food 15 minutes later, and this manager never once apologized or came to check in on things. Just an overall terrible experience. When the crowds in Hudson Yards die down, this restaurant will pay the price, if it doesnt figure things out fast.

It is a place you have to try while in the city. You will really enjoy the bar and the restaurant. Nice ambiance, location. The food and service is quite good.

It is a pity that such a nice place with such a view doesn’t have great food Nice dessert? Yes! But frozen strawberries? Hmmmm

HORRIBLE SERVICE! Our waiter Brad, Horrible service! .. from having to constantly ask for water, raising our arm all the time, ask for served wine in the glass from the ice bucket with the bottle that we ordered , waiting 90 minutes for the main dishes .. as attention the waiter Brad approached to tell us that he would make us a credit on the ticket…. the surprise was, he charged us absolutely everything as we ordered without any credit! we do not need alms but ethics from the waiter does not exist. I DO NOT RECOMMEND IT

We enjoyed a floor to ceiling view of the Hudson River and the Vessel while dining for lunch last week. The two-step lunch - beautiful oysters and skate fish entree - were top drawer. Service spot-on and friendly. Don’t kiss this gift!

I eat out often- and more and more often service is dismal even if food is well prepared. My dinner at Queensyard was the exception. We dined there for the first time tonight. The restaurant was only open for 3 weeks. Our server Matthew Mason was delightful. He helped us make choices from the menu- added suggestions- was personable without being intrusive and really enhanced our dining experience. There is a fine line between good and friendly service and an invasive server. Matthew struck the perfect balance. The menu is small- but we each were totally satisfied with our selection. The fish and chips was lightly battered and not at all greasy. The steak was prepared perfectly and was nicely seasoned. The fish of the day- halibut was perfectly cooked and tasty, The fried chicken sandwhich was crisp, light and tasty. Don't miss the avacado appitizer- although it is a small portion it is fresh and the preparation was interesting. It was grilled and served with house made sweet potato chips for dipping. Overall it was an excellent experience and a totally enjoyable evening. Hope to get back there soon....and intend to recommend this to everyone I know. Wishing them all the best- they deserve success

We were in NYC for the first time and had to visit Hudson Yards, the Vessel and the High Line. The vessel required a free timed pass. Since our time was an hour out we decided to get a bite to eat and weren't disappointed with Queensyard. Located inside the Hudson Yards, this is a contemporary, elegant lunch, dinner experience. We arrived around 2:45, just missing the lunch time which would have afforded us a table by the windows. That area was closed down until the dinner hour. However we sat on a raised area of the restaurant and still had an amazing view of the vessel and the Hudson River. Milos was our server who was both friendly and attentive. We ordered the Shishito peppers and had two glasses each of the Pino Grigio. A perfect combination while we waited our turn at the Vessel. A little pricey, about $140 all in with tip, but so worth it. Make this part of your NYC experience.

We took a chance on a rainy Saturday afternoon. Asked for a 4 top by the window and were able to get a reservation as a walk in a few hours later. Took in the sights and stores of Hudson Yards and The Vessel. Got seated about 130pm with an outstanding view. The waiter was extremely attentive with our food and libations. We had salads, burrata mozzarella, pork chops and chicken. Everything was served with style, was fresh, hot and delicious. The inside portion of the restaurant was a circular bar and separate menu. The experience overall was very pleasant.

After an afternoon on the high line we had cold drinks at the walk up next to the restaurant. There were tables on the side for customers. I thought the service was quick and efficient and it was an oasis of sorts after an afternoon of walking. Great views of the vessel.

We arrived at Hudson Yard about lunchtime. We walk around for a bit and then decided to get some lunch. This place looked nice so we walked in. We were seated quickly and our server can over right away. She bought over water and we ordered a couple of cocktails. After awhile she came back and took our lunch order. After awhile she brought our lunch but our drinks were nowhere to be found. Eventually we got them followed by bread and butter. I ordered a burger, which was good but the were cold. My wife began to eat her Caesar salad with grilled chicken. Something was not right. She cut another piece and spit it out and asked me to taste it. It was raw! Besides being raw it was tasteless. I called the manager over and he apologized. He did ask her if she wanted another but she declined and asked for a bun less burger. They did take the cost off the bill. Serving raw chicken is serious. They may be a new restaurant but safety is of utmost importance.

We went to the Queensyard for the view and were amazed by the food. We had been to the sister restaurant Bluebird London NYC so knew it would be good. We started with the scallops and they were so tender and delicious, but the star of the plate was the grilled corn, it was AMAZING. Next the English Rose (chicken liver) was beautiful and the texture was like butter. When I thought it couldn’t get better comes my main course the Berkshire Pork Chop. Now I anticipated it would be slightly dry, I was totally wrong it was so moist and flavorful every bite was wonderful. Friends had the Porcini Risotto and the Baked Lancaster Chicken and both were just as tasty as mine. Not even sure what I would select next time. That is a lie, I for sure would have the scallops!

Lucky enough to have dined here on their first night, it has all the glamour of the City with that British twist. The bar was buzzy and loved the Pinky Gin and Tonic before dinner and the aged Negroni after. We dined in the restaurant side, as there’s a more casual dining area called the Kitchen. The food was delicious and well presented, I had asparagus with creme fresh and my friends had the foie gras and the crab all very good. As main we shared the rack lamb which was perfectly cooked and tasty, my friend had the halibut which was really good too. The desserts were sublime! We had to try them all and we couldn’t pick which one was the best! Knowing that they just opened, they did already a great job! Can’t wait to be back

The restaurant is surrounded within a beautiful environment of the fantastic cooper sculpture and the amazing mall. The host & hostess seem to have a confusion of the menu choices - they should be describing the menus as our Michelin rated dinner menu and simply our bar menu with a light fare . The host made it much more complicated And gave the impression we could sit on the fancy restaurant side and still order a burger , but that was not the case. However , we ate on the fancy side and than ate on the bar side . Alvin was our waiter who was excellent and was very polite. His service was excellent , but it was evident that he was loosing table because the host was not making himself clear about what menu was appropriate for each side . The host would sit folks down and than they would leave to go to the bar side . I would recommend you open up the entire restaurant to hamburgers as well - the restaurant would be packed all the time . Alvin was a triple AAA waiter and offered some great suggestions as far as food choices . We had a very good meal , I was disappointed in the hazelnut sponge cake dessert - it is a unique concept but The cake was dry and the center ice cream or pudding was tasty , but would have been delicious melted down and drizzled on the sponge cake with the cookie crumbs on top All & all the restaurant is very cool and is an excellent location , however I would recommend some slight changes to the menu - it’s either the Michelin menu or the bar menu and the restaurant side should take reservations if they are trying to keep the restaurant more exclusive Take some advice loving advice Make all of your staff go Out of there way to be really nice - place the pretenses aside . You get more with honey than you do with spice Seafood parfait was excellent Tuna appetizer delicious Watermelon Burrata was perfectly light ! We had the Burgers on the bar side - excellent - juicy and very tasty I would also suggest a truffle French fry ! Feel free to contact me to review your restraint again to see if there are any improvements

Had a business dinner tonight at Queensyard! Great experience. The service was excellent! And food was good too! Try the taffy dessert...awesome

Tired of the morning wandering around Hudson Yards, the new neighborhood in vogue almost on the banks of the Hudson, and in the, all in all, discreet mall we decided to stop for lunch at this place. A lot of people come and go as is normal for a restaurant inside a mall but the table overlooking The Vessel makes you forget the flaws of this place and the dishes consumed (Tomato Rigatoni, Roasted Half Chicken still good). Price obviously high but worth it

We were appalled. We ordered a ham and cheese sandwich each. It was delivered in a cardboard box with a plastic lid. It wasn’t a sandwich at all but a less than fresh croissant. It had been heated making the croissant soggy. The ham was still cold. It was not nice to eat. We both felt a bit sick after. We had a can of beer each. We were not given a glass to use. All of this cost more than $50. Grossly over priced. Today we spent the same amount and had a fabulous meal on the upper west side.

We stopped in for sodas while on a business trip to the city. 2 ginger ales was over $16 after tax and tip (no refills). The staff was attentive and kind. The view was spectacular. As was the atmosphere. It just has this cool elegance to it. We sat in the bar area. Restrooms were clean and gender neutral.

This place gets a lot of hype, which is inexplicable. The food is tolerable - neither interesting nor well presented. Edible, for sure but I have had better at totally ordinary restaurants. The service was abominable- we had to beg not twice, not thrice but four times to get our coffee refreshed. And then they charged us! The restaurant was not particularly crowded for brunch so there is no good excuse. The waiter was friendly enough but disappeared soon after we ordered. This is what I would expect for a shopping mall restaurant in the subidra’s - not at all what is hyped. I guess that the folks who say that Hudson Yards is a culinary desert are right.

The Maitre D’ gave us a warm greeting. He sat us promptly at our reservation time. The restaurant is gorgeous. Our server Vinicio was outstanding. Very helpful with the wine menu. We had the buratta and two orders of the fresh baked sourdough bread. Very delicious. The entrees we ordered the 20oz ribeye to share, fish and chips and 8oz filet. For sides we ordered 2 Brussel sprouts and one cauliflower. Every thing was fantastic. The flavor of the cauliflower was amazing. I did not like how the filet was cut in half we ordered it rare. The pepper sauce was good. Plates were removed promptly by servers assistant. No room for dessert. We had a great evening. We had the best table with amazing views of the Vessel.

Booked for proximity, was thrilled with the menu, staff and how lovely the restaurant was. Lingered over coffee with colleagues and didn’t feel pressed to free up the table. Such a lovely place for brunch because the view of the Vessel and Hudson Yards is gorgeous.

We had brunch here as we had two grandchildren joining us almost 4 and 2.5 years old thought it would be kid friendly. Firstly wouldn’t let us for down until ‘all the party were present’ ( they were parking the car) Hate this stupid thing they do here. So we lurked outside for 10 mins. No kids menus …. When I asked the server re kids meals he said we can do a Pasta Chicken fingers ( think he said) Kids sized, I asked, he said. no they are big No Price offered. The food we had was average, not much better than diner quality but Michelin star prices. Salmon Benedict presentation wasn’t very appealing, wish I had taken a photo. The kids had pancakes they were ok. My son told me after the fact his chicken sandwich wasn’t good at all. 250$ plus a tip with no alcohol!!!! I used to go to this place a lot when it first opened but something had changed.

You get what you pay for. The restaurant has decent food as it should for the price. But you are really paying for the view. Good lunch splurge.

We wish we could try everything on their menu! The crab was such a pleasant dish to look at! It was super fresh also with perfect condiments! The burrata cheese was nice. We also enjoyed very much the octopus with olive dressing and the sea bass with anise. The food was just perfect perfect delicious. You have the unobstructed view of the vessel which lights up at night. Service was also fabulous! They remember it’s my birthday and the waitress was so kind to sing a birthday song to me! Thank you for making the night so special and we would totally come back to try the rest of menu! Because we know those other dishes are absolutely fabulous!

Found HAIR at the bottom of my risotto, which is the most disappointing and disgusting view when you expect good quality at a restaurant like this.

Well we have traveled to New York to celebrate my wife’s birthday, everything and everyone was so great during this trip , well except the Queensyard restaurant staff, well not all , the busboys were the only nice and helpful people, the waiting staff and the hostess were bad. By the entrance I told to the hostess that we were celebrating my wife’s birthday, well she didn’t care to much and told me to advise my waitress…. Well I did it , and nothing- the only thing I asked for is if they any special cake or something, didn’t want anything for free - well she said she will take care - by didn’t . We are planning to go back to NY for sure , but we won’t visit the queensyard.

Great atmostphere and drinks, but the waiter only checked on us twice within an hour. Very disappointed in the service.

We had a wonderful meal at Queensyard Restaurant! The ambience is youthful & upbeat with a subdue elegance & the food & service top rate!

We were a walk-in on a rainy weekday and were quickly seated. The staff were friendly and professional. The hamburger and fish and chips were really good. The bread brought to the table was really nice and the drinks were fine. The only small glitch was the lack of pickled pearl onions for a Gibson, although I was perfectly happy with the martini with olives. I would return again

This place was such a surprise! Came here for lunch on a whim and the meal was incredible. The weight staff were incredibly courteous (I even noticed another guest being rude to the waitress and this waitress continued to treat this guest with respect despite the guest’s behavior), the views of the vessel and river are gorgeous, and the food... Just wow! I had the lemon truffle pasta and it was to die for I practically licked the plate clean! My sister had the fried chicken sandwich and the chips and the chicken were amazing! Perfectly crispy and delicious. Also their bar is incredible. I had one of their gin and tonics and I will still have dreams about this exquisite cocktail. Will definitely be coming back!

We went for lunch. Shared a marvelous tomato salad and Dover sole.Food service and view couldn’t have been better. If you visiting Hudson Yard, go there!

Discovered this slick restaurant by surprise on the last floor of the upscale shopping mall facing "The Vessel" at Hudson Yard. The view of this gigantic and strange sulpture is fantastic. The menu card is limited but with unusual dishes. The chicken liver and foie gras parfait was absolutely delicious (great presentation as a "rose").The Dover sole with its cauiflower puréee was one of the best we ever had. Fait choice of wines by the glass. Service was efficient and friendly. The young team did its best to please. The prices are in the upper range...but no regret. We definitely enjoyed our last meal in New York after a great week-end.

Food is fantastic and service too! Why a fair treatment? Appetizer was kind of late though we didn’t feel so. It was off my bill voluntarily. Give a big THUMB of service. There is no discrimination and a fair treatment to all walks of life.

Great place for a meal after going to The Edge. We had a great window seat with an amazing view of "The Vessel". Cocktails were tasty, the lunch food came out quickly and was very good, and we topped it off with a fantastic dessert. The staff was friendly and helpful.

My waitress charge me twice de tip when I didn’t accept , y left the tip in cash and when I leave the restaurant they charge me the tip twice !! The fries were “included” and their charge me also the fries 25 uds, the food it’s overpriced it doesn’t taste that good and the menu is limited , 1/5 . One of the worst restaurants in nyc.

Our friends from the UK came for a visit and we thought Queensyard would be the perfect place for them and it was! We ordered the special “Fab” drink which was supposed to come in a goblet but it was so good we didn’t care what it came in. The food was very good too. We had a great view of the vessel which added to our experience. The Chef is talented and creative. We also loved the bread.

1- amazing view depends on where you sit. There are 3 tables with good views, one with a vessel and water view (which I was lucky enough to get) 2- THE FOOD…SOME DISHES WERE GOOD & SOME WERE TRAGIC… THE GOOD GOOD: coconut oysters; AMAZING; you could taste the coconut; fish n chips, queensburger & the gin cured salmon. DESERT was OK!!! DRINKS: were good, especially the mojito THE BAD: my mac n cheese was salty & tasted more like mac and mayo; the shrimp cocktail was bad. The shrimps, while large, were old (see pics) and the cocktail sauce was disgustingly tangy, and salty, the pork Wellington was just not the biz. A BIG ISSUE I HAD: is that I started off with one person waiting on me; then every time, was a different person coming to the table. I didn’t know who to tip, so ultimately I tipped the young black brother who came to my table first; ALI & he was very nice. I do like that the place is a decent size. Overall: I wasn’t blown away by the food, service and I wouldn’t visit again. I just went for the experience.

The staff were great. We had a surprise birthday party for our teenage son before the indoor dining ban in NYC. The staff were very accommodating. We asked for an extra large table so that the kids could sit apart. We ordered the lemon meringue cake which was delicious. The main meals were mostly good. It was fun to see the new Hudson Yards. We enjoyed our visit!

Excellent courteous service , great food , relaxing atmosphere! Had the oysters and the skate Katsu! Our waitress (Thanys) made our meal a hugely enjoyable experience !

We got in line and waited for 10 minutes to be seated as it was packed. All the staff was extremely nice and service oriented and the wondow on the 4th floor faces "the vessel" so the view is great. The atmosphere is very comfortable too. The explanation of the drinks, food and type of restaurant it is was very nice and easy to follow. We ordered and got our entrees, very good Tuna Tataki and something else, but then we waited for very long. I asked the waiter what was going on with our food and he said they were working on it but then it was too much so I stand up and went to the manager. He said they recognize a mistake was made but they were working on it. Then 3 minutes after He came to us and told us the main dishes will be on their count plus an extra bottle of wine. Finally our dishes arrive, Lamb chops for me and my girlfriend and they were spectacular. A bottle of the same wine we were drinking came and at we finish with deserts coffee and a very good feeling that we were heard and the restaurant acknowledge their fault and were very interested in us not leaving with a bad flavour. Food and service were excellent besides this incident and I will come back next time I am in NYC, no doubt.

We were looking for an afternoon meal and settled on Queensyard while in the Hudson Yards mall. We were seated in the bright, open lounge area. Tables were close, sometimes too close to boisterous NYC folks discussions, but it’s typical for NYC. Food was sort of snacky... a shrimp dish sounded like a meal turned out to be basically a shrimp cocktail. It was excellent. Two drinks and two shrimp dishes was about $70, again, not unusual for an ‘upscale’ NYC restaurant with good views and ambiance.

Like many New Yorkers and many tourists, my wife and I wanted to see the newly opened Hudson Yards development and try one of the restaurants. With another couple we made Saturday brunch reservations at Queensyard. My wife and I arrived first and were warmly greeted. We were asked whether we wanted a table by the windows. We said we did and were given a wonderful table with a fantastic view of the Vessel and the Hudson River beyond. What we weren't told and did not find out until our friends arrived and we had ordered beverages, was that if you had a table in the window section you had to order from the regular lunch/dinner menu, not the brunch menu we expected. To order from the brunch menu you had to sit in either the bar area or a seating area away from the windows. We decided the view was so fabulous we stayed where we were and ordered from the regular menu. Our experience with the food was mixed. My wife ordered the halibut and says it is one of the best fish meals she has been served in any restaurant, even Michelin-starred restaurants around the world. The portion was generous and very tasty. I had the pork chop which was large, well-cooked and very flavorful. The other couple both had the sole and complained that the portions were small and cold when it arrived at the table. The desserts we had were ample and very good. The bread that was brought out before the entrees was crisp, hot and wonderful. The service was the low point of the meal. it was intrusive and just plain stupid. One of the other couple ordered a seltzer with lime. Before it arrived after about 20 minutes, three other servers came by and asked what she wanted to drink and were told she had already ordered. None of them did anything to get her beverage. Then they insisted on removing the bread plates and silverware before our entrees were served, which meant that we did not have bread plates when we asked for more bread and butter with our entrees. The server removed my plate before the others were finished with their meals. Servers came to the table at least 10 times to pour water for my wife and I even though our glasses were still mostly full. We saw trays of brunch food going to the people sitting in Siberia and I must say the hamburger with french fries, the fish and chips and the chicken with waffles all looked very appetizing. In summary, a spectacular view, a mixed review of the food and annoying service. The whole thing with the two menus was a strange affectation.

Walked in on Sunday morning but was accommodated at a window seat because we arrived early. Our waitress Thanys was terrific. We were able to discuss the menu with her and ended up getting fabulous food at the exactly amount we wanted, one pre-fix and one a la carte. Sitting next to window with direct view to the Vessel helped a great deal to make the entire meal memorable, but the highlight came at the dessert. The deconstructed carrot cake is a must have. The ambiance and food are great here, but the service by Thanys topped everything.

great location the rest is bad service, food, drinks all way below expectations for a very overpriced spot there are so many great places to go to in NYC This is not any one of those

We had walk the Vessel, shopped in the mall and decided to have lunch. The window tables were full, with a prix fixe 3 course menu. We sat at a wonderful corner bar area table, and were able to order from the a la carte menu. I had the vegetable with grains plate. Perfect and light. My dining partner had the beet appetizer as well as a small salmon plate. Service was excellent, attentive and quick. Dessert of flan with coffee finished our experience. Excellent view of the vessel, lovely, comfortable dining space and bar. Highly recommended

Get a table Overlooking the vessel and holiday lights—great chicken salad with peanut sauce, hamburgers —wonderful ambience

I was surprised by the rudeness at reception who said I could not sit until my entire party was there I understand this rule it was just to aggressively said - went to bar waited 18 minutes to be served a $25 glass of wine - food was okay - overpriced - nothing to rave about - waiter was very good - Hudson yards - NO

In the new area this beautiful Vessel view restaurant is very good, with well-made dishes and quality products. The service is also really excellent.

The menu in the Kitchen area is limited but has something for everyone. Service is exceptional. And then there’s that view. Outstanding.

Poor would be the wrong word. Disgraceful would be justified which I appreciate is a contrast to other reviews. But perhaps it was the way we looked. Arrived at 16:00 to a relatively quiet bar hoping for a nice bottle of red. After 15 minutes of no service I approached the bar who informed me it was table service. Looking around all bar staff chatting - eventually a man arrived who said “what do you want”. Clearly not the greeting you expect when I anticipate he wanted 15% tip for his horrendous service. Clearly some work to do on customer service skills. Embarrassed and ashamed for you - better experience wine bar in Chelsea market

Nice ambiance, friendly staff and a menu with a good variety. A 3 course menu was available as well. We were a party of 4, two of us wanted to make a selection from the regular menu, two opted for the “prix fixe”. We were then informed it’s an all or nothing option, either everyone goes for the set menu or none. One of us ordered the beef tartare and requested it to be spicy. Tabasco was offered as a condiment but only provided after we were done with the appetizers. The food quality, size of portions and taste is good. With over $100 spent per person, the restaurant should show some flexibility towards the guests.

Went here for brunch with my friends on my first visit here and to Hudson Yards. The food and drinks were lovely but overpriced especially the latter. Service was great and the view brilliant, overlooking The Vessel. Recommend.

This review is way overdue.. but I enjoyed it so much that I still wanted to post it. My 2 friends and I used to live in the UK and love anything British, so we tried the Queensyard while visiting The Vessel @ Hudson yards. We were all happy with our experience. While on the pricey side, we thought the view, service, and delightful flavors were worth it. I especially loved the Brooklyn Burrata which was presented beautifully (see photo) and yummy, and the Risotto with chestnuts and truffle (sadly didn't photo graph well). Our server was professional and friendly. I have since been back for cocktails at the bar and have been very happy to return.

Nice space with a view. Food was good not great. Definitely overpriced for what is offered. Service was friendly but a bit slow. Wine was not impressive. Lots of waitstaff hanging around but the process is not streamlined. Bathroom was a mess- definitely not monitored regularly. Will not return.

This is a beautiful, elegant place to grab a drink. It is also in the heart of the Mall at Hudson Yard. You wouldn't travel just to go here but if you are in the area, it is the spot to go. Drinks and service are spot on. Very efficient and they leave you alone. If you want privacy this is the place for you

Stopped for a quick dinner, they sat us immediately our server was awesome 👏 ordered the daily special + an item from the menu. All tasted delicious pepper steak was undercooked and fries were too salty. Place just opened I know things will get better keep it up.

We had lunch here (they open at 11:30) and we had a place in their restaurant part with direct views on The Vessel, as we were sitting next to the glass. Service was good, English accent, great guy. Maybe a little 'too much' but he helped us out excellent. The food was really good, loved every bit of it. Not cheap, but worth the price. Would definitely go back again, although there seem to be more nice restaurants with this view in the mall !

A spectacular cocktail, worth making a pre-dinner, and then eating rich with a highlight of the big apple

After reading the New York times and eater.com reviews we were very circumspect about this restaurant. Our experience was anything but what those 2 reviews have mentioned. Clearly the food critics from those 2 organizations were either "drunk " or have another agenda. The service was impeccable throughout the evening and delivered with sensitivity and elegance. When one person in our party spilled a glass of red wine, the response was lightning quick and done with minimal fuss which would have done a Michelin star restaurant proud. The halibut and risotto had excellent flavors and the wine pairing suggested by the sommelier was near perfect. The decor and ambiance is great as are the views of the " vessel". What more can one ask for?!! Highly recommended!!!

I don’t understand the negative reviews. I found the staff friendly and professional, the decor great, the view unbeatable. All the dishes were delicious except that my halibut was undercooked, but it was quickly replace with a perfectly cooked one, albeit half the size of the uncooked one. A complementary dessert sealed the good evening.

This is a sister restaurant to Bluebird NYC and London. Menu is a little different. We ate in the more casual side for lunch. Fish and chips were ok. Outside was not crisp enough too doughy. Portion was good. Shrimp salad was good but took some work to eat. Hopefully a little more time in business and things will improve.

My son took my daughter and I to Queensyard for Brunch on Saturday. I was very impressed, the style was such a wonderful blend of classic and comfortable. We were greeted warmly by Miles, and our server, Luciana, was friendly and just the right amount of attentive! I had the French Toast with Bacon which proved to be an enormous serving but wonderfully prepared with strawberries. My son and daughter had Chicken and Waffles and thought they were delicious as well. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone for an elegant, but not stuffy, experience!

Back in NYC and first time at Hudson Yards, Queensyard did not disappoint. We ordered the heirloom tomatoes with watermelon bringing the flavor of summer to the table and scallops, both perfectly presented and delightfully flavorful. The Dover sole was exceptional and a rarity these days. It was served with a wine and butter sauce that augmented its delicate flavor. My family ordered the lamb and porcini risotto. The risotto was magnificent and the best I have had. I did not try the lamb but my family loved it. The views are enchanting. I would have liked to have seen a tad more generosity on the heirlooms - but I get purple Cherokees regularly at the Durham farmers market so I am spoiled in that regard. But back to NYC, this was a perfect night with my daughter and her husband that I will long remember for its exceptional food and views that make lingering over dinner at sunset a delight- and not to forget, our waiter Chris was friendly, knowledgeable and helpful in recommendations for both wine and food .

I came here with my family for lunch. Food was very good and service was friendly. However, you will need to wait for the food and portion sizes are small.

Located in the recently opened Hudson Yards Shopping Center, at level 4. Offers nice views of the large staircase-like structure called the vessel and of the Hudson River. Queensyard has a restaurant, bar and cafe. Nice atmosphere. The food in the restaurant is mainly English style which is kind of surprising as the English kitchen normally is not so highly appreciated. Anyway, at Queensyard they give the English food a nice international touch. We had the English Rose, which is a liver and foie gras parfait, And the Brooklyn Burrata.Followed by Dover Sole and Red Snapper. Desserts were Roasted Peach and some Ice Cream. The food was tasty, the service good. But...one remark, the sole could have been a bit warmer. Prices are on the upper Manhattan level. Enough said.

Absolutely wonderful Sunday brunch today! French toast was terrific, lobster omelet was mouth watering, and the pomegranate cocktail was perfect! Anthony, the manager, was a welcoming and a wonderful host....staff were all very friendly and attentive as well! Will definitely be back!!

The service, ambiance and view is great. But the Filet Mignon was overcooked and definitely not up to standard. Worst of all, I had stomach problems all night. Since this was the only meal I had that day, it must have been their food.

Food was ok and expensive. A month later I could not remember what I ate but the view of the Vessel at night was memorable.

Usual High Tea flare , but smaller portions and selection . Kitsch decor but tasteful . small selection and portions . . The View of the Vessel and Hudson River beautiful

I’m a resident of Hudson Yards and have given this place three chances. Three different menus for three different zones. NYC restaurants always offer a full dining experience for solo Diners at the bar. This one offers chicken tenders, a burger and a few other things. What is it? Mac Donald’s? The other times I’ve been there I got a different menu at the same place. Once I ordered a burger. It was okay. The second time was shrimp, which were average. The servers have attitude and are slightly incompetent. In a city where the best restaurants fail, I don’t see this one lasting for long. I definitely won’t be back and I live here. We just expect a much, much higher level of service.

Situated in the heart of the increasingly fashionable Hudson Yard, Queensyard Cafe clearly uses only the freshest ingredients with generous portions. Try the egg or Tuna sandwich and the Chocolate croissant. A great find and great light food

It is difficult to impress me at a restaurant. I have had it all on 5 continents. This place is spectacular I love the ambiance the staff the food and I will be back as a regular visitor. Thank you

This restaurant with great view of Hudson Yards has a relatively small but very well chosen menu. The food is presented artistically and is ever better than it looks. The service was friendly and attentive.

The food here is just meh because the real reason to go is the view. Make sure you get a table that allows you to see the vessel and the river. We went for brunch. Servings are kinda small and are amateurishly plated. A few extra lettuce leaves might make the plate look fuller. Also, we arrived to a basically empty restaurant and still had to wait to be seated while staff just watched helplessly. At these prices and location, get it together!!

It's new, comfortable, beautiful, delicious, affordable (reasonable but not cheap), respectable, and relaxing. You'll need this if you plan to shop at the malls upper end stores. Some suggestions: 1-make reservations 2-dress nicely, the atmosphere is part of its experience 3-in a hurry but still want their delights, then you can eat right next door at their carry-out or sit down counter facility located just outside the restaurant in its own area. 4-You have a problem or a special request, then ask for the manager-he was born to run this restaurant! 5-Enjoy the view

Very fancy restaurant with nice view. I wanted to sit by the window, but unfortunately, they said the wait time is long, I put the request in the reservation. The food was just okay but i came for the experience. got the brunch 2 course menu.

We ventured over here to Hudson Yards to check out this unbelievable sculpture. And we had to check out the fine high end mall with some nice looking eateries. We stopped at Queensyard for a pre dinner cocktail at the bar. Plenty of seats over looking the Vessel. A couple of cosmo martinis and a Moscow mule started our night. Nice mix, great blend of flavors and hitting the spot. Great comfy bar seats where we watched the mad mixologist do his magic. ISIDRO was working, pouring and mixing beautiful cocktails in the house. Overall beautiful nice setting, the place is only 6 months old, upscale decor and you can’t beat the view!!! Enjoy!!! 🍸🍸🍸🍺🍺🍺🍺

I am in love 💖. I had dinner at Queensyard in Hudson Yards. OMG, what a place! I totally loved it 💗. Great food, wonderful vibes, and amazing service (Thank you, Katie… 💕). Then came the dessert… OMG 😱 I am in love 😍. I totally loved this restaurant 😊

2 bottle juices, 1 hot tea, 1 fruit tart, total 30 usd tip not included... Tart was very good, juices and tea were not-special ordinary beverages

Really great all around - I don't get the negative reviews?! Attentive, not overbearing service, delicious food from apps to desert, beautiful room! T-bone steak was perfect (NOT dry), halibut, crab risotto all wonderful. Desert treacle was fantastic. Can't wait to come back!

the restaurant is very good for solo, couples, friends, business meetings and private events; if you would like the view of the vessel request eating in the dining room area; excellent top notch service from the wait staff;

This new restaurant is a must on your list of places to go when you next visit New York. Aside from a very special location which will ravish your sight you will enjoy delicious food. The service is elegant, the choice of dishes is overwhelming . The desserts are light and special. Don't miss the drinks prepared by their mixologists they will surprise your palet; we had them prepared by Jeremy, what an experience!

All restaurants in Hudson Yard are busy and hard to get into, until the pandemic. The menu is somewhat understated in comparison to the foods' taste and presentation. It is a great place to catch a late lunch, with light order from the hors d'oeuvres list, which I think is just fine in quantity, and there are no shortage of flavors. Seating with a view might be good, but the Vessel is closed right now so really all seats are good. Order the steak tartare and a glass of bubbly and you are all set.

Yesterday four of us went for brunch to Queensyard. We had distinctly made a reservation for BRUNCH. We were seated and given menus that were not for brunch. We asked for brunch menus. We were told that they could not serve brunch where we were sitting. Seriously? But the waiter said that he would ask the manager. He came back and reported that the manager said that we could not be served brunch where we were sitting. Because we wanted breakfast food, we got up and moved about FOUR tables away so we could be served brunch. Did that four-table move made a dramatic difference in the type of food that could be served? This really set a negative tone for the rest of the dining experience. The French toast consisted of one brick of bread and two pieces of bacon for $19. Maybe this works in London, but not here. Can't wait to see what new restaurant will go in this space.

I came here for the window seat but they were not able to provide. The food is just normal, it could be better

Ate here on the recommendation of my friend Jerome. Fine dining at its best and fantastic cocktails too

Stopped here for an afternoon snack after going to the Vessel and Hudson Yards. The pastries tasted buttery and were very good. However the prices were steep. I got a cream and jelly knot which was about $4 and two almond croissants. The croissants were pretty big so I think $3.50 is about right. The knot was much smaller and cost more. Other items were small and cost more.

Rich selection of a la carte menu, neither cheap nor expensive but the best if their location with a view of the Vessel we loved it

My kids ordered different foods but the 3 of them tasted each other’s food and unanimously agreed the fried chicken was the best ... from where we got seated it was on the side so we saw some of the Vessel since you have to pay more to be front view ... though it was still okey

Great service in great surroundings. Good selection of beers and the cocktails looked lovely. I couldn’t pass up the Chandon fizz though - too good to miss. Do stop in for lush surroundings, great ambience and super service!

Was taken to Queensyard by a family friend. The restaurant was buzzing and luckily we booked . The food was great and we shared the desert. The food was rather pricey and not sure if I will visit again.

Great service, awesome food, and good wine and great company. Had dinner at this restaurant after going to edge and we had a great table with beautiful view of the vessel. Our server was funny attentive and helpful. The food was very good and the wine line was decent in selection. Server even made suggestions and was helpful in our wine selection .

We wanted to see the new Vessel at Hudson Yards so decided to dine at Queensyard which has the best view. It's kind of a quasi English gastro pub in a more elegant setting and we actually opted for afternoon High Tea. The four of us had the full selection of finger sandwiches and cakes, along with the aforementioned tea (and cocktails). Our server was cordial but it seemed that the tea service through off the kitchen and staff, and at $50. plus per person, kind of expected a more polished presentation. Our British friend asked for the traditional clotted cream which was supposed to come with the service, and kind of got a blank look. They did try though but brought out whipped cream, which I suppose was the best they could do. It was enjoyable though and they haven't been open long so maybe the kinks will be ironed out soon.

Where you sit depends on from which menu you plan to order. The front of the restaurant is reserved for the more expensive dining menu and the back for the less expensive more casual meal [fish and chips]. Great windows at the front of the room but not sure such a close up view of the climbing structure is worth all the hoopla. Dover sole, an English specialty, which should be excellent was merely OK. Wine list on the expensive side. Service pretty uneven. Very pleasant but slow. Even had to remind the waitstaff about requests and ask for our wine glasses to be refilled.

From the front door until the exit, the entire experience was exceptional. The service was as high end as in any fine dining, with the servers showing up promptly as if on cue. The dinner was a perfectly prepared meal that was exquisite, as were the drinks from the bar. I am surprised at some of the other postings as this was not my experience at all. Having read some of the prior comments, perhaps some of growing pains are getting behind them. I'm already a return guest! Dinner was such a delight, we decided to return for brunch and had the same excellent food and service experience.

Our group of 3 had a Saturday a very late lunch here after visiting the Vessel. Since there were plenty of tables available, we were seated next to the window which provided an excellent view of the Vessel and the Hudson Yards beyond. The dining was formal, with crisp linens and uniformed wait staff. Fortunately, we did not look too touristy. I had the dover sole which was quite good and filling. My son had the roasted chicken which he really enjoyed. My only negative observation was that the service was slow. However, in our case, we enjoyed the view and the chance to rest a bit before heading off to our next objective.

Hudson Yards is comparatively new development in west Manhattan & friends recommended Queensyard restaurant which didn’t disappoint. The staff were very welcoming, patient (while we chatted for quite a while before deciding on anything) and the menu is eclectic, with lots of traditional offerings with a modern twist. The staff remembered all of our preferences when we re-ordered items, and it’s those special “I was paying attention” moments that made us feel so welcome and at home. The magic also came in the form of light January snow outside the windows overlooking the Hudson for our entire meal! Highly recommend.

Fantastic food, excellent service. We were supposed to see a show in the area which was cancelled. We had a reservation for 8:30pm we turned up at 6:30 on the off chance they would seat us. They did! Also while we were waiting for the table we were offered a glass of sparkling wine. Would definitely recommend for diner if you are in the area!

We went for an early lunch to get seating at the window, over looking the vessel. Opted for the two coarse lunch special for $49. Food was ok, but the servings were very small.

To forget it. Went in out of desperation on Christmas Day because everything was closed: rude waiters, they continually come and ask you to order something as if you were running out of time. Furthermore, very clumsy, in an hour I witnessed various things falling to the ground. We ordered simple cocktails, they didn't bring napkins or anything to appetize, total zero. When I asked for the least amount of food they brought me some pieces of paper where not all the food was there, the price of a lot of food was missing and so people ordered without knowing the prices. The waiters were also very angry at my questions. Nice view among the buildings, but nothing more, forget it.

We went in search of hotel early in the morning ang we got Queens Yard .The Front office staff Nishant was very helpfull to guide us .All the services are very good .

The restaurant just opened and a new manager is already needed. For the amateur service received during the whole meal it is definitely not worth the cost. I have never seen so many staff walking around an “empty” restaurant and still we had to wait looooong time for our courses. The food was ok, but again if you consider the wait and the cost... NO COMING BACK!

We came to NYC from out of state to meet our Australian friends who were overnighting while on a cruise. We wanted to show them Hudson Yards and have dinner. We couldn’t have picked a better restaurant. Our table by the window gave us an excellent view of NYC, the Vessel, the river and New Jersey. The ambience, the level of background music, the careful attention to our table, the nighttime city views, were all excellent and made the visit with our friends magical and memorable. Their wine list is extensive, our appetizers of octopus, heritage tomato salad, and scallops were beautifully presented and equally delicious. The round loaf of crusty bread was fresh from the oven. Our main courses of sea bass, halibut, pork chop and orzo was the best we have ever had. There was not one morsel of food left on our plates except for the bone from my husband’s pork chop!

This was my second visit to Queensyard. The food was delicious and the service is the best. The best appetizer is the smashed avocado and sweet potato chips. This time around I ordered the buttermilk fried chicken sandwich. There are two menus and two places to sit based on the menu that you choose. The restaurant menu was described by the hostess as “elevated”. It was a casual business lunch so that’s why we chose the kitchen.

Even though it is located in a mall, the restaurant looks great and has a nice view over Hudson river. Very friendly and nice staff. The burger was not as good as expected, and priced, but the total experience is good due to the wonderfull staff.

I might have been unlucky or not savvy going there during the Easter period. The placed was packed with customers, noisy and very badly organised. We ended up ordering on course each and... in 90 minutes managed to eat ... 90 minutes and more than 40 dollars for pub food (and coffee), no drinks included.

Location and "view" clearly the draw. Unfortunately a limited pricey menu for "lunch" does not appeal. Heavy offerings in the "dining" area and again a limited brunch menu in an adjacent space removed from the window seating. Does it mater, not, Portions are generally small. Omelette about 3/4 bites, french toast OK but could use a few more strawberry slices. Service at the margin. It is a one timer. Nothing exceptional.

My friend and I planned a visit to the Vessel. We like to have afternoon tea when we get together. I found Queensyard had tea and looked like a beautiful restaurant. The restaurant overlooks the Vessel. We made reservations and I requested a window seat. Service was wonderful, very friendly. The food was delicious. I have read comments about servings being small, but for tea, I found them just right. The price is higher than most, but worth a try for the ambiance and having something different. We were there on a Friday and stayed for some time as the restaurant cleared out. We weren't rushed, seems like a good time, after lunch and before dinner. I will go back again.

We really enjoyed our visit here while in NYC. The food and the service were very good. No issue recommending it.

I was here on Saturday, November 12, 2022 at 12:00. The young man at the counter (brown and blonde dreadlocks) was…unfocused. The manager(?) did his best to salvage a bad experience.

A warm welcome to a spacious and smart interior with a large bar area and a large dining area. Great food and service and we had a great view out over the Hudson. Was special and we would love to return.
Excellent!
Visiting the new Hudson yard area is a must for all. Beautiful and clean new building and restaurants mixed in with historical structures and greenery. The mall is immaculate, filled with everything one may wish for. Nestled on the 4th floor is Queensyard restaurant. A french style restaurant with an American flare. Beautiful setting and efficient, friendly staff. The food was great too. I had the lobster pasta and rose wine. We ate at the bar because the place was busy at 3pm on Saturday, and we were hungry from shopping way too much! My wife had the shrimp salad. The portions were on the small side but delicious. The wine poors were on the large side, which we felt made up for the food smaller portions! The bartenders were extremely pleasant and engaging. They appeared to work well together while having a good time. Great ambiance, in fact, I forgot were in mall although 1000's of people were just steps away from us, shopping etc....I will absolutely recommend this place to my friends and to any one else willing to spend more money for good food and ambience.
