Crazy crowded, loud volume but crazy good sauce to the chicken. Worth a visit but make sure it's a little quieter time. A lot of plastic trash after a meal, from an environmental point of view, this place is on the minus list.

Having a DJ in your restaurant doesn’t make the food taste good, but the DJ was great. The food however was really bad. Chips were like a bucket of salt had been poured on them. Chicken was dry and the coating tasted like other places in NYC you can get for half the price. Don’t buy a drink with ice. They will fill half the cup with ice so you’ll only get about three sips of drink. Rip off. Don’t be fooled into thinking it’s good by the crazy long queues you’ll wait in to get in. To be fair, the queues went down quickly and were well managed. Sorry no food photos as I took about 4 bites, hated it, and gave it away.

It was incredibly good and I would come back immediately. Best chicken in town! As fluffy and soft as a feather and the sauce was simply divine.

On entering the music was just super loud like a night club just not needed. So confusing on where you go after you pay as staff did not direct. Queues were huge. Food was nice but not amazing. I think a bit over rated in my opinion.

Very good The only downside is little choice: only one Burger (which we took) and otherwise tenders But very tender and good! The fries are good too Little wait on the Times Square one, it goes very quickly!!

Crowded! Noisy! Busy! Tik Tok lied to us! Chicken is okay… fries are like oven chips. Don’t eat here as it’s like a night club! Not worth it!

Considering this place is hyped up I certainly wouldn’t say it’s worth the hype. Not enough seating in the main location on Times Square. Food average possibly below average for what it is hyped to be. Texas toast was mediocre at best coleslaw wasn’t great and the raising canes sauce that everyone goes wild for is not nice at all. A place I would avoid in future

Chaotic. Loud thumping music, hard to get a seat and average chicken. Demographic is teenagers. I don’t think I was the demographic!

Fast food restaurant in downtown New York. We ate some chicken finger combos with chips, drink and bread, good value for money. The place clean and cozy, with music to cheer.

Chaotic but worth it! The restaurant is in Times Square so it is to be expected. Chicken is amazing, chips were a bit dry! The bread was probably my fave part! Worth a visit!

Travel to NYC and first visit to discover this chain that is eating KFC toast. The chicken is brutal, the potatoes are delicious and even the bread they put on you is quite delicious. And the sauce spread a whole chicken!! And the local butt, of course!!

Yes it's busy and yes it's loud the other reviews are all correct. But it's not that loud and it's Times Square busy. But the food, the food is poor at best. No flavour, no seasonings and soggy chips. Save your money, if you want cheap tasteless food - go to McDonalds.

They have a window where you can collect to takeaway so did that on way back to hotel. Overpriced. Soggy chicken, coleslaw sold out. Sauce not very nice. Don’t waste your money. KFC is better.

Good food, well seasoned and to do not want to waste much time. At lunch time was almost impossible of so many people and I no longer had the cabbage salad. We also came a little earlier another day and it was very good. Do not expect too much variety in the menu or refinement. Typical American empanada chicken franchise. But it is still very good! I recommend it if you are in Times Square and want to starve fast.

Noisy, packed, expensive. Absolute bedlam in here, the music was excruciating loud. Believe there was a “DJ” on but he never spoke on the mic so might as well just play a CD and save the money. Food was ok, basically chicken fingers with other things - bread, hot dog rolls, whatever but it’s all chicken fingers. It’s a “Tik Tok” place. Supposedly you are “cool” if you eat here and put the pictures on Instagram. Whatever.

We visited on a Friday afternoon to fill a bucket list item for my daughter. Never again! There were no seats to be had. The restaurant was chaotic. The chicken was not anything special and the sauce was meh.

I went to visit Cane’s because my daughter had seen the tiktok and I was surprised. The chicken is very delicious. Super soft and crispy. Best cost benefit you have. NY is a very expensive place to eat and really the restaurant surprised. Super breaks delicious branch. It's worth a visit. We ended up going 2x with the kids.

This place is located in the centre of Times Square and always seems to be very busy. The queues tend to be long but move fairly quickly. We all ordered the tender combo meals and took our food to go. The meal was extremely underwhelming. Basic chicken tenders and fries. The "famous" sauce was just ketchup, mayo and vinegar mixed together it seemed - nothing special. Overall, this is bang average food and you can find much better fried chicken meals elsewhere. Not sure what the hype is about!

We decided to try after wanting a quick bite to eat and did not want to travel far. We had the chicken finger meal and it was one of the most blandest meals I've had. The chicken, had no taste at all, the Texas toast was hard and rubbery and the sauce was sickly. Please avoid

We visited from Scotland in October and my teenage daughters were desperate to visit for lunch. It’s a huge restaurant at Times Square and was buzzing with atmosphere. The staff were friendly and food was fresh. The restaurant was clean and the setting was immaculate. Even the bathrooms were clean. For a fast food restaurant I cannot fault it for a visit. The cost was reasonable too.

Driven to go by my teenage granddaughters I must say that fried chicken is very good. Soft and crisp at the same time. Overflowing venue, but we found a seat fortunately. The excellent music of the DJ in the room managed to dim the chatter of all the people crammed inside. Too crowded, but the experience was overall positive. It was Saturday night at a time square restaurant. There is a bit of extra confusion. Recommended!

My daughter was desperate to try this as we don't have it in the UK. It was a hit and we ended up coming back again!! The chicken was good, the sauce amazing and the fries were average. For fast food, it's worth a visit.

The restaurant is located in Times Square and is open until late at night. I really liked the place. The fried chicken is tasty and crunchy. A menu costs about $12 and includes fried chicken, chips and a drink. Super recommended!

Great wee place. Quick service. Friendly staff and good fast food, reasonably priced. Clean restaurant, very busy but we got a seat and enjoyed the views of time square.

Global headquarters of RC in Times Square. Wonder if this is true? So chaotic at 5:30 PM. Lines started outside the door. Can’t tell if people are lined up for counter service or the ordering kiosks or if they ordered already. We mobile ordered and spent more than 40 mins in the designated area indoors only to find out our food was brought to the outside window. Food was cold by the time we found out. They should have staff to direct people or have stanchions and ropes plus better signage. This is our 2nd visit to this location and I was happy to see staff who was actually wiping down tables and picking up trash from the floor.

Little choice but everything is good and served hot quickly, this fast food chain based on pieces of fried chicken. Ideal for bringing children

I really like Chicken Tenders so was looking forward to Rasing Cane's, lots of hype/viral tiktoks. Sadly very disappointed, firstly the restaurant is horrible, it was very busy, the ordering processing is chaos, they had a DJ who was so loud you could hardly hear your ordering being called out, and once sat at a table (good luck getting one) you could not have a conversation, its a restaurant not a disco. The food was disappointing, fries are not good, tenders are OK, the bread was really nice, I found the sauce to be acidic, my too much pickle juice and pepper. Sadly it wasn't to my taste with a horrible restaurant

A finger chicken combo costs between 12 and 20 dollars, with 3,4 or 6 pieces of chicken + fries + drink and a cabbage salad. The chicken is very tasty, I tried the salad and, for my taste, I didn't like it and ended up not eating it. Therefore, when collecting the tray, an employee was rude, saying that if I didn't want to eat the salad I should say I didn't want it when placing the order. I thought it was terrible! The atmosphere, due to the DJ, is very noisy and the music is very loud.

Definitely not worth the hype, my family and I ate here towards the end of December, we absolutely will not return. We did not expect the best fast food in America but definitely something good. Chicken and chips completely soft and wet, the famous sauce tasted only of pepper, salad not even to be considered.... the only thing actually good was the bread. The classic place not suitable for the weak stomach, after a few hours we were all sick... On the other hand, the service was fast, but the game is not worth the candle.

We stayed at this restaurant in Times square. Poor food. The chicken was raw! I found the place so dirty. The dirty tables and the floor even more. Poor management and little control.

Chaotically busy place right in the heart of Times Square! The lines move pretty quickly but getting a table was a challenge. My teenage daughters in particular were super hyped to be going here and we thoroughly enjoyed the food and the experience. Would be tough working here but we found the staff to be very good and calm amongst so many people wanting to order.

Excellent value for money. In Full Time Square Wait Right , Great Service . The best chicken fillet ever eaten. We give ourselves up to please our son...instead amazing

Personally I wouldn’t ever go back here, my daughter on the other hand loved it. It was soooo loud - they had a DJ and I literally couldn’t hear myself speak. It was also extremely busy which added to the noise. It’s just a glorified MacDonalds where I would rather go.

Place was dirty bins overflowing . Food cold . Had to fight for a table . Not the best experience in New York . Sauce unremarkable

Decorious's exceptional customer service at Raising Cane's left me genuinely delighted. His kindness and willingness to go the extra mile made me feel truly valued as a customer. It's this kind of personalized service that makes me love Raising Cane's even more. My visit was not just about the delicious food, but also about the outstanding hospitality provided by Decorious. His dedication to ensuring a positive experience left a lasting impression, and I can't wait to return to Raising Cane's for more great food and service like this!

The food was super good, even if the chicken lacked a little crispiness. The sauce, on the other hand, was incredible! As often, the drink was very sweet. The Mood inside was great, with a DJ and a really stylish decor. Too bad there are not many seats to sit when the place is full.

After months and months of being excited to visit New York and telling people I can't wait to visit Raising Cane's I was so disappointed with the food. Chicken was soooo greasy The chips were soggy and had no taste. And the sauce was bland... Chic fil A Sauce is much, much better . It's 100% over-hyped!! Top much going on. Blasting music, pretty much sitting on top of each other. And very instagrammable Not for me!!!

So let's say that if you are looking for tranquility it is not the right place but the menus are very good! All the materials are excellent and tasty! Price in line with NY!

Disgusting. KFC is better and that’s quite a statement in itself. Music so loud you can’t order properly or indeed think. Fries like they have been microwaved. A weird cup of sauce thing going on. Drinks massed out by ice. Prices in the ridiculous. Please, for the sake of humanity, give it a miss. The most over hyped tik tok pushed garbage on earth. Doesn’t deserve to be as popular as it is.

Such a cool spot! The food was great - it was consistently Cane's quality - and this location has some really cool features.

I took the classic menu to go because inside there is an absurd mess. But the takeaway was really fast and especially those fantastic, delicious, crunchy chicken wings! I can see why they're so famous.

the food here is amazing but unfortunately this is the worst run establishment i have ever been to in my life. for starters, whoever’s ridiculous idea it was to have a blasting DJ in a fast food chain where people need to hear their name being called over the music in order to get their food is an idiot. and secondly, another stupid idea made by someone to get the food and drinks out separately meaning that a raising canes mosh pit was created in which everyone was cramped together to get their food, which did not work. as a 16 year old hospitality worker from the uk, i think i could have run it better myself.

Super fast food with incredible speed of service despite the world present at that time. The DJ is good, and it brings a real atmosphere! Table cleaned as soon as someone leaves!

Being from Australia, I’d not heard of this restaurant before. Each day from my hotel, I saw people streaming into the place. Curiosity got the best of me so I went in. The lovely order taker suggested I try a combo pack with their famous lemonade. WOW, IT WAS SOOOO GOOD! We went back again and again. I want the franchise in Australia! Don’t know how I’ll survive with my Raising Canes!

Stopped for lunch on the way. Good chicken and potatoes too. Maybe because out of season there wasn't even any confusion despite the famous place.

We tried it for the positive reviews and curiosity, it's good; it's chicken with a sauce that's good. Recommended. There are several around town.

Very easy to find and friendly staff. Service is really fast too! We struggled to find somewhere to sit. Food was very good, ordered the 3 tender meal which also came with fries and a piece of fried bread.

Best fast food meal ever. Chicken was delicious and amazing sauce. Portion sizes very good. Great atmosphere and good live DJ but just a bit too loud for us as could not hear each other. Would recommend if you love chicken as this is the best.

My daughter was desperate to visit here. Well... the service is terrible and rude staff. The food was actually nice. Would have been nice to have had the drinks arrive at the same time, not 30 minutes later. Getting a seat and table was an experience on its own. Dirty, loud, and overcrowded. If that's your idea of fun or a good time, then you're in luck.

Generous and delicious food 1 portion of 6 pieces of chicken and fries serves 2 people easily! Very crowded place with DJ playing

Our first visit to a Raising Canes. My daughter was desperate to eat at one so we experienced our first time in Times Square. Thoroughly enjoyed our meals which were ample - I had the children’s meal which was enough for me and she had the chicken fingers, fries, toast and sauce with a drink. The sauce tasted good too. The atmosphere was great a live DJ playing whilst we were eating and disco balls! We ate there a couple of times whilst in NY.

Raising canes is a very good fast food. I ate the chicken with fries and a piece of bread. It was very good, the local was very beautiful because is located in Times Square. The prices aren’t very expensive.

Chicken and chips with a few little extras. I guess it’s something worth trying, but we were underwhelmed by it all. Noisy too- so if you don’t like noisy eateries then this is not the place for you

Practice in Harlem Pure American atmosphere with chicken and fries The music is good and good heating. The fries are good

First time trying Canes and it was pretty good. The chicken goes amazing with the sauce and the fries are also really good. Everything was amazing, only when you finish the sauce its like every other chicken place. But with the sauce 10/10!

Typical American place, with music and DJ The very grumpy guy at the entrance directs you to the right line to do to get food. The food of course is to try, the sauce is very special and you puccia everything! but be prepared to wait standing for the seat

Plus points: Food was amazing. Atmosphere was great - even had a DJ. Food came quickly and well packaged/presented. Fun range of merchandise. Toilets clean and supervised. Reasonable cost. Not so great: Busy, busy, busy Finding a seat is a nightmare Some of staff a little rude

Dont waste your time and money!, kids were talkin about going here for months so we were thinking this is gonna be nice.. After been in Q for 45 mins between ordering and getting the food then we had to wait on a table, we got one eventually after all the pushing and shoving and a dj banging out songs at major ear blowing levels. We got 4 Meals which included 4 Fingers, Chips and a drink and a sauce each. 1. Chips Soggy and greasy 2. Famous fingers ! Tastless pale and soggy , Bland & Boaring 3. Famous Sauce Dreadful.. its a mix of ketchup mayo and Vinegar a pure sour taste, the kids hated it after waiting so long to taste it, such a waste of food, 3/4 off the order was left on the table as it was unedible. $70 WAISTED . And after all the hype 2 dissapointed kids 😅😅 they actually sed an ihop was far superior

Just got off a flight and needed something to eat, so I tried Raising Cane’s. I like that you had a contactless choice to order your food. The food was good! The chicken tenders and fries were Crispy, but not overly crispy. They were just right! The toast was bussin! And the DJ……………………….. YAAAAASSSSSSSSSSSS! She was the truth. Played hit after hit. Wasn’t a big fan of the coleslaw there, although I really like coleslaw. Something was just off about the taste, so I only ended up taking a few little bites (not even a 1/4 of the container) and didn’t eat the rest. Other than that………. I really enjoyed this spot! The atmosphere and vibes were good. 🎶🎤🎧

Visited for a quick dinner snack due to the hype that is plastered all over Tic Toc (that was the first mistake really) Massive queue but quick service to be fair, staff where fantastic but the food was less than bang average? KFC walks all over this place (and that isnt the best reference to pitch yourself against) Chicken was bland, chips just tasted of a weak salty seasoning, the sweet bread....I don't get and then the weird house spicy mayo dip, that doesnt really taste of much? On the flip side, they do a great homemade lemonade..... The draw to this place seems to be the DJ in the shop.....But its very loud and does actually make you want to eat and get out the place a bit faster. Avoid. Prices are fine, similar to a McDonalds / KFC but if your going for any of this kind of food in and around NYC, Shake Shack beats them all hands down!

It was so crowded that practically every square inch had customers in, the organisation could have been better and have allowed for the line to have moved quicker. The server was very hostile and quite aggressive towards us, i’d hope that it was just due to how busy it was. The food came relatively quickly for how crowded it was and it was nice food. Additionally, there was nowhere to sit to eat the food so we just had to stand to the side of the corridor to eat our food. Overall, the food was not worth the wait and claustrophobic atmosphere

Not disappointed! We had seen the hype on Tiktok around this fast food, only small flat we did not have the huge pots of sauces as on the networks but otherwise incredibly good!

Lots of people in this fast food restaurant. Complicated to find a place to settle down. On the other hand, the fingers were very good and the staff friendly. Good for eating on the go.

This place is so good! Definitely worth trying - I loved the sauce that you have with the strips and the chips tasted great too. You may have to wait for a table but it’s definitely worth it

It is worth waiting in line, because fried chicken is really tasty! Like French fries!! Good quality ratio at, which does not hurt. Sparkling atmosphere.

We wanted to try Raising Cane to understand why it is talked about so much especially among the boys (I must say that I only met him for my children).Fast food very fast, food that is fine if like me you find yourself desperate at 9.30 pm with 2 children in succession. No noteworthy ,commercial food of mediocre quality. At the checkout (if like us you got there) we found a mummy incapable of expression or dialogue.Positive note: very fast, given the endless queue my expectations were unexpectedly exceeded.

The chicken was great, and the signature sauce was really good, though not life-changing. The chicken sandwich was filling and enjoyable. However, the fries were a bit soggy—not as crispy as I’d like, but they paired well with the sauce. My biggest issue was the location—this Penn Station spot is underground and not easy to find. I had to ask around just to figure out where it was. Once I found it, the experience was good, but the confusion getting there was a bit frustrating. Worth trying if you're nearby, but maybe not worth the hassle of hunting it down.

We came from canada and loved the experience the food was incredible the music the atmosphere and the staff cleaned our tables immediately and made sure there was enough chairs for us at the table!

Service was way quicker than I expected for Times Square, in and out in under 10 minutes. Food was good, not great. No issues with it but also wouldn't brag about it.

As much as I am not a fan of fried things especially chicken, I can say that it is worth trying. We took the combo eaten in two because it really is too much. I recommend to avoid the crowd, to go to the headquarters not of timesquare but the one in penn station, not far away, going down with the escalators.

Limited menu but if you're like us, our family loves good chicken tenders and fries. This establishment did not disappoint! The food was better than expected and the sauce was unique and tasty! We really enjoyed the music from the DJ & disco balls despite it being a little too loud. You couldn't hear your name being called when the order was ready. Seating is limited and we had to stand with our food until seats opened. If you are looking for fast service, this is not for you. If you are patient and flexible, give it a try. The food speaks for itself. Order taker could've been friendlier and did not give or offer us a receipt when the paper ran out. Hopefully the customer service will improve and the music volume is lowered enough to hear when your order is ready. Despite those issues, I'd give it a 2nd try.

Times Square, full of people and yet with 13 dollars everything was ready in a couple of minutes. This is a fast food restaurant that only does fried chicken. It will be done without particular attention but the result is really good. The chicken was. Super recommended if you want to spend a little and eat quickly.

it was beautiful, the second it touched my lips, I was in heaven. it was pretty easy to find clean seating and the bathrooms were fancy. the music bopped and the fires and chicken strips tasted so good, especially with the sauce. I honestly don't know why so many British people are hating, like sorry your not tasting your bland unseasoned food. you don't have much say in actual good food while you've been eating things that taste like cardboard all your life. besides Billzo and DanTDM, they're the only British people we respect.

The chips are like something your nan would make in the 80’s when oven chips first came in the scene and she wasn’t sure how to cook them. Nan always went too early as she was scared of burning them. The predicable result of this was soggy chips that taste undercooked. The chicken isn’t much to write home about either & I’m sure Colonel Sanders would be turning in his grave if such a monstrosity was served in his restaurant…… not a bit of crispy batter in sight! The sauce that has achieved viral fame is also a big letdown. It’s not particularly offensive but, given its cult like status it failed to deliver. Mix salty gravy with mayonnaise, add a hint of pepper and you’ve pretty much made it. The bread is also sadly a big let down and again, it’s the crunch which is notable by its absence. I guess we could have been there on a bad day or maybe they were running the driers in eco mode which meant they didn’t get hot enough even though you could fry an egg on the sidewalk outside the restaurant. Either way, I won’t be rushing back. I gave it a rating of 2 as I think the concept is good and, with higher food quality standards it could well work.

We went there because we had seen it on tiktok, and it actually met our expectations. The piece of bread was very good, the chicken as well, the chips with too much salt and the viral sauce amazing.

Would have given this place and excellent rating if it wasn’t for the service, but I guess some people can’t handle large crowds. Anyhow, the food was hot, fresh and awesome. A lot better than I expected. The atmosphere is upbeat especially with a DJ.

Very salty, average fried chicken. Sauce was nice but nothing to write home about. Couldn’t touch the Texas toast for how salty it was, similar to slim chickens in the UK. Much nicer places in NYC to get fried chicken from.

Fast food with good chicken. The staff and service are fine despite the fact that the restaurant can be very crowded at times. Chicken is very good with large portions.

Food was quite nice but nothing special, apart from the bread and sauce which were really good, it was like any other chicken and chips. Food wasn’t hot when we got it but they were so busy so it’s understandable. It’s a bit chaotic waiting for your order, but glad we tried it.

It was mega delicious. You can choose from different combos we chose the 6 chicken fingers with a corresponding toast and two sauces and a Great drink another we have ordered with it.

We went in here because my partner has always wanted to try it with not having the chain at home. The service was super fast which is great and staff very friendly! We had some chicken tenders/strips and chips. The chicken was delicious but I was shocked at how salty the fries were. Maybe cut down on the salt or give the option to let the customers salt their own food? But I did enjoy it so thank you!

Not great. Rude staff. Not the cleanest. Not great food, popcorn chicken was much nicer over the road. Not as good as the hype. Would not return.

Very busy place! Good service, decent food (maybe chips were a little bit salty!).Got served rather quickly and got seated.Lively atmosphere.

Fast food at its best… great value, quick, great tasting hot food, decent drinks and buzzing atmosphere in the restaurant. This is fast food for sure, but was very enjoyable. Highly recommended if you want a quick eat and like chicken. Lovely.
Disappointment
The chicken fingers were great, but I’d say they’re the only thing that backed up my expectations. In fact, the sauce which I was craving for was nothing special and too salty, as well as the bread that was kind of soggy. Fries were good. In general, everything was also too salty
