Wonderful experience. Staff went above and beyond, extremely accommodating to a member of our party with a severe allergy, Aloha Gal. Service was amazing, the food was fantastic and the Watermelon Martini was absolutely delicious.

Tried this for a business dinner. Kind of an odd location, small dining room, but nice tables and they do have outdoor seating. Very upscale feel and service to match. Service might have been a BIT to attentive actually. Decent wine list, decent cocktail list. Three of us had homemade pastas and one the steak. All were very good. Deserts were very good as well. Its probably 4.5 stars as they might be trying a bit too much, but overall we liked it.

The place is beautiful, however the food is not up to par with the hospitality. The pasta was mushy. And the sauce too sweet. The Not worth it if you’re hungry.

I had two odd experiences at Ramerino. My friend and I stopped in for lunch in March. Anselmo was our server, and everything was great. The bread basket, the Caesar salad, the elegant service, all had us exclaiming in pleasure. That is, until my entree. My Cacio e Pepe was overdone, the sauce looking like it was microwaved. This pasta was far from Al dente. I mentioned something to our server Anselmo who told me the pasta is all made in house and must get to the table instantly. Anselmo said I should return the next evening with my wife, and he would make sure we were taken care of. The pasta was taken off the check, but I made it up with the tip. I returned the next night with my wife and to my surprise, Anselmo wasn’t working. Our servers were professional, but we didn’t get personal service. There was no bread basket, and the dinner was good, not great. However, the bill, with two appetizers, two entrees, two desserts with two cocktails and two glasses of wine was $224.00. A steal for this quality of food and service. I’ll be back, Anselmo or no Anselmo.

Truly amazing place . Food and service were top notch . Did visit the library on 5 av and was very close to walk there . Papardelle and steak which both we share were prepared perfect .

Wonderful experience at this relatively new restaurant. 10-15 min walk from Times Square. Food was very very good. Excellent octopus as well as an avocado and artichoke appetizer. Pasta is obviously homemade and cooked perfectly. Our two dishes were wonderful. Service was top notch. Attentive but certainly not obtrusive. Chef even came out to say hello! I would definitely return

On entry, this restaurant seemed lovely, however, even though we had booked online, in advance, the waitress who greeted us was not wecolming in the slightest, greeting us in a very odd fashion like we were an irritation. So not a great start! We were shown to our table, too many waiting staff all hovering. Once we ordered, we were given a poultry slice of unremarkable bread (certainly not home baked). We ordered a bottle of white wine, and once poured, it was just left on the table, unchilled! I have never been to a restaurant where this has happened! They eventually rectified and put the bottle in a cooler, but instead of being beside our table, it was not easily reachable...why? The main courses were nice, whilst unremarkable for the price. There were so many waiting staff, all hovering, making it a very uncomfortable dining experience, not one of them with a warm or welcoming vibe. It was as if they were desperate for us to finish. Whilst 2 of the party had finished their main course, one person hadnt, but it didnt stop them clearing the plates whilst he was still eating! Doesnt make for a relaxing dining experience! When we finished, the bill couldnt have come any faster, then the waiting staff hovering over, deliberately looking at what the tip was...very unprofessional and somewhat threatening, ordinarily, waiting staff would turn away whilst this is being entered. All in all a very unpleasant experience, especially given the price! I would not recommend nor return.

Dinner with friends last night : a table of 18 people, when we came to pay we were charged for three dishes that we had not consumed , when we asked for explanations they told us that they would take them away ... then they refused to do separate accounts, as if it were normal that there was one person who had $ 1356 in cash for everyone, there were people who were put in trouble because they only had the card and had to borrow money from others because of this absurd request! If this is bringing Italianness to New York, I am ashamed of some Italians... but not everyone is like that!

The pasta was average so don’t go out of your way to eat here if you want the real deal. You’re probably better off getting a steak and seafood here since this is just an Italian surf & turf place. That equates to excellent service FYI (like most steak joints), and a HORRIBLE by the glass wine list stuck in the past. The only Italian white wine by the glass is Pinot Grigio. California Chardonnay by the glass. What a throwback. But don’t forget, you are in midtown, so when in Rome do as the Romans do. The seabass was cooked perfectly, but that’s about as wild caught of an option you’re going to get here. The table side Caesar salad was flashy but the end result was not that impressive for the price. If you like surf & turf places and you want Italian I’d say this fits the bill.

Amazing restaurant. Fantastic service with knowledge on wine . Table side Cesare salad . Ribeye steak was good enough to share . Thank you Ramerino for unforgettable dinner.

Had a meal here on 2nd night of recent trip to NYC with my daughters. Just very overpriced considering what we had. The polo del pastore was awful. Bits of tasteless flat chicken in a thin gravy with just mushrooms and nothing else. $16 for a warm glass of pinot Grigio. $200 for 2 starters, 3 mains and 1 drink each. Ambience ok but would not recommend.

We stayed at the Hotel & enjoyed dinner with the family. The food, the presentation and the service was phenomenal, thank-you Steve. We will definitely be coming back!

Excellent service. Seafood appetizers and house pasta were extraordinarily delicious. People in our group who had meat also liked it.

After visiting One Vanderbilt place we decide to try this new place .. Fantastic food and service . Beautiful ambiance.

Found this place by googling and looking for a Italian restaurant. The food was amazing. Everything from the bread , Cesar salad made table side to the pasta. The porterhouse steak was enormous and cooked perfectly. The drinks are prepared perfectly. All staff are so attentive and make you feel special. Definitely we will come back

Service was attentive and food was well prepared. We ordered salads which were generous with ingredients and very tasty. One of us ordered veal chops which he declared to be prepared very well ( he is an excellent cook and very fussy about his food). Another one of us had veal Marsala which was served with a very generous helping of mushrooms. I had the pasta carbonara which was excellent! I recommend this restaurant if you want excellent Italian food served in a gracious manner. Lati, the head waiter, was helpful and proud of the food and service.

Excellent dinner! Table side Caesar by Nabor and attentive service by Steve. Wonderful evening of delicious food and wine.

Fine Italian, excellent steak, and traditional Franco-American preparations (tableside too) meets family accommodating menu. Chic decor and refined service—one of the few gems that can truly do it all. Very highly recommend. Incredibly surprised.

It was our first time here and we will absolutely return! We were welcomed with a warm greeting and received attentive and friendly service throughout our delicious meal. My husband and I loved the Ceasar salad prepared tableside. It’s especially nice because they make it to order giving you a choice of ingredients (capers, anchovies…) for which I know some are particular. We laughed at the enormous pepper grinder! The wine selection was plentiful, reasonably priced - by the glass- and much enjoyed! The penne alla vodka was some of the best I’ve tasted and my husband loved the bolognese. In his words, « Excellent ! » Unfortunately, we were too full for dessert because the choices were very tempting! I look forward to returning and will try to limit the pre-meal bread and incredible herb butter which was hard to pass up!

Good service, very friendly people, nice interiior, and also good food. Good wine. We had pasta carbonana and 2 types of ravioli

We never got our food. After an hour we finally got cold scallops. Sent them back and the manager was unapologetic. Still no main meals after 1. 1/2 hours. No one got food unless they complained. (Except the family that came in and got food after 5 minutes. WTH. ) Manager never apologized. Horrible waste of time.

We were greeted warmly and entered their lovely restaurant. The staff is all very professional and cordial. We enjoyed the dover sole (prepared beautifully table side). We also loved the pappardelle pasta - very fresh and flavorful.

Delicious high quality Italian food. Serving sizes are perfect (not too big or too small). Alsembo, our server was great! Highly recommend.

My wife and I made reservations at this restaurant because of its excellent reviews. It is, in fact, very attractive with a romantic ambience. However, the charm quickly dissipated after we were seated. Our server was in a hurry throughout our meal. I think he asked us if we were ready to order within a minute or two of handing us our menus. For entrées, I ordered the seafood pasta special, which was quite good; my wife ordered the spinach and ricotta “Ravioli dela Casa”. Without exaggeration, my wife’s entrée looked and tasted like microwaved Stouffer’s frozen ravioli – and there was no spinach. I ended up giving her half my entree. I think the server was likewise embarrassed and didn’t charge us for the ravioli entrée. Overall, a very disappointing evening.

This is a Nee York classic with a vibe that makes you feel like a local. It isn’t cheap but what is in New York! I had the veal chop which was excellent (though probably better medium than medium rare). For sides i had the potato and spinach. Everything was great and it’s the perfect place for an indulgent business trip dinner on your own.

the staff is amazing, the wine selection also amazing, however, the only item I ordered, a filet, horribly overdone- BUT, the moment I pointed it out, it was promptly taken off the check. I watched as other tables were very happy with all, and I would recommend@

It was delicious! Very frendly service. The location was nice. Surprisingly, we even got a delicious free tiramisu at the end.

The day we were there there was no one dining, it seemed strange to us. But the end result was fantastic. It is an expensive restaurant, but the pasta dishes we tried were exquisite. The staff service was correct at all times. Absolute cleanliness in dining room and services. Aimed to return on the next trip.

Service seemed rushed and weird. Food was ok but very small portions. Really poor cleanliness of toilet facilities which was at odds with the upscale vibe they were trying to put out. Would not rush back.

Felt like I was transported back to Italy when I was there in September. Cacio e Pepe is great if done right which it was here. This classic Roman pasta dish meaning "cheese and pepper" had the right balance of pecorino romano and black pepper folded in bucatini spagetti. It was smooth, tasty, and not "clumpy." Friendly and efficient service, generous portions and a beautiful dining space surrounded me. I'm glad I went.

We were looking for an Italian restaurant near our hotel to meet another couple and they recommended this one. When we arrived the hostess directed us to take the elevator to the 22nd floor. It appeared that a large party had taken up the restaurant downstairs. The were only a couple of tables inside and it was too cold for us to sit outside. We were meeting another couple and the seating arrangement was not great. Also, we were next to the bar where the music was loud and it was challenging to have a conversation with friends we had not seen in a long time. Besides the seating issue that was a disappointment I loved my pasta dish. My husband had the salmon and liked it. Our friend had the pasta with mushrooms and did not love it and her husband liked his ravioli. So there were mixed reviews but I loved my meal.

From out of town for a cruise for the 2nd time this year and we wouldn’t go anywhere else. It’s not only the exceptional dishes, but the great staff that brought us back. We both had the specials of Ossa Buco and Lobster Ravioli. The Ossa Buco came with potato gnocchi and was flavorful and plentiful. The homemade lobster ravioli had a mouthwatering vodka sauce that was exceptional. Finished with Tiramisu and complimentary Sambuca which hit the spot. Selma, Hostess seated us at the same table we previously sat at and we were SO happy to see that our waiter was again Blendi who just floats around the dining room attending to tables always with a smile and oh so attentive. Helping Blendi was Anselmo who was also great. You won’t be disappointed with any meal here! We will be back.

We decided last minute to change from another reservation which was italian... husband found Ramerino's .. It was really exceptional . The service was top notch. Had the avocado/artichoke appetizer and meatballs. both tasty. Then i had branzino deboned tableside.. Asked for half order of cece de pepe pasta which they accomodated. Husband had ink pasta which he loved.

We stopped here to get some Italian food off the beaten tourist path. We wanted someplace quieter and not overrun by families. It did not disappoint! We had the lobster bisque and shared the parpadelle and spaghetti w tomato sauce. We did not have wine (plans for drinks later). For just over $55 per person plus tip, this is a great value for NYC white table cloth service. The waitstaff was attentive and friendly. Highly recommend all our dishes and this great restaurant!

A friendly and highly professional service in a fabulous location with a fantastic Roof-top Terrace on 22nd floor. We just had a lovely time in this quiet place, being served with great desserts and drinks. This Restaurant in Manhattan is Highly recommended!
Roof top under the Empire
Roof top with splendid view of the illuminated Empire. Quite interesting and well cooked dishes. Good cocktails. Acceptable prices considering New York
