I can rate this restaurant based on a take out situation during a two night stay a the Warwick. My son and I had extended our trip in NY and had booked last minute accommodations at the Warwick. We had dinner plans at another location our first evening. The second evening, after a very long day of sightseeing, we arrived back at the hotel, however I was not feeling well enough to have dinner in the dining area of the Randolph. The restaurant staff graciously allowed us to sit in their lovely bar area, order our dinners to take up to the room, and enjoy a glass of wine while waiting. The bartender (Sammy) was very accommodating, seeing to our every need. I had a Spaghetti Squash entree and my son had a burger. Both meals were excellent ! The Randolph is a quiet, (especially for a hotel) engaging restaurant and I will definitely take time to sit and dine when visiting NY again.

We were hesitant to order room service but we were too tired to eat out. My husband got the Sausage pasta dish and I got the salad. Both were delicious!!!

Very friendly bar, at the Warwick hotel. Nice to visit, even if you're not staying. there. Sam excellent barman

This is a great Midtown bar to rest, have a drink and watch people. Very cozy bar with specialty cocktails and food service. We were also staying at the hotel, so enjoyed this bar several times!

We stumbled across Randolph's when trying to escape the Xmas shoppers and before we went to a show on broadway! The cocktails were very good and we shared 2 club sandwiches between 4 of us and they were also delicious and large enough to fill that gap when you don't want a big lunch but need to fill a gap! The staff were not too overbearing and it was so comfortable we stayed for another couple of drinks. We returned again a couple of days later.

If you are looking for a relaxed but smart location for pre theatre drinks (Broadway is so close), pre dinner drinks or simply a place to meet up then I do recommend Randolph's. Also the dining there is quite reasonable. Not a huge selection (it is a bar and lounge), however the quality is excellent.

We dropped in here for coffee and cake en route to Central Park. From the outside it looked quite chic and inviting. We were not disappointed. The welcome was nice and friendly. It was close to lunchtime but they were not disturbed that we only wanted coffee and deserts. We took cappuccino coffees and the chocolate mousse cake. Wow! The cake was tastefully presented with strawberries and blueberries and poured chocolate over the cake. Really great! The coffee was nice but a little weak for my standard - living in France acquaints you to stronger coffees- but nevertheless very pleasant. Well worth the visit.

Very good meal. I was tried from a long day at work so asked my son to meet me at my hotel. This restaurant is adjacent to the Warwick. Very good burgers.

I have been to Randolph's numerous times for after work drinks with colleagues. Generally it is a nice quiet place to meet for drinks. However, on my most recent visit service was lacking. We were left to sit at a dirty table for quite some time and, after finally flagging down a server, waited, and waited, and waited for our drink orders. This was not due to a lack of employees. In addition to the bartender, there were at least four people working the bar area. They seemed to do there best to ignore us.

Good place to stop in, mostly locals, some tourist. Great bar, good bar appetizers, friendly staff. Worth the walk to find it.

I enjoyed one hour there before my departure from NY. Firstly the service was excellent and as I had to jump in my taxi in 60 minutes she made everything to serve me promptly. The ceasar salad was really excellent. I had it with a piece of salmon which was cooked at perfection. It was also served with y tasty bu. Of black bread. I rinsed the desert (good cheesecake ) with a double espresso served with a tiny slide of lemon :the perfection...this is sufficiently uncommon in NYC to be noted. The general ambiance is cozy and warm with a nice lighting and very comfortable sitting.

My wife and I have loved Randolph's for many years and always make a point of stopping by there for a drink when we are in New York. Today I was in town by myself on business and went there to have a drink and kill some time. A waiter brought me coffee and was very nice. Then no one else paid attention to me for 30 mins. I was going to get an actual drink but didn't realize I was wearing my invisible suit. Maybe it's my wife that gets us good attention when we visit. Not good service today. <Insert sad frowny face here>

Randolph’s is attached to the Warwick Hotel and is a comfortable old style bar. It no longer serves food and does not even open to 5pm and closes somewhere between 10:30pm and 11.00pm. It was much better a few years ago. Service goes between wonderful and gruff depending on the waiter.

I stopped in for a quick glass of wine before heading out for dinner...and stayed for nearly two hours. The people watching, bar staff (Diana was incredible!) and ambiance of this classic lounge is vintage New York. I stayed longer than anticipated and enjoyed their charcuterie tray and an array of visitors from around the world. A great place to slow things down and enjoy the vibes of yesterday class and chic.

Had a late lunch here on 30th December - excellent value, good food. Slightly slow service to begin with but once our order was placed the food didn't take long to arrive. Lovely warm, cosy feel to the lounge.

Stopped for a beverage after a long day of traveling. Nice setting. Great staff. Great ambience.. Very nice addition to the hotel.

We would have enjoyed this place a lot more if the waitress did not have attitude. Went across the street a little later on whose waitress was the complete opposite.

We have had dinner here upon arrival after a long travel. Good value for money. We used the bar every evening before to go to sleep. Most of the waiters are very friendly and service minded. Nice atmosphere in the bar.

Upscale yes but also a very pleasant atmosphere in an old style bar. Of course a lot to choose from so take your time sit down and enjoy

I was at a 10 at night. Well the service was attentive and reasonably quick, my hamburger was flat out lifeless, the fries were soggy, and the restaurant was noisy and populated by businessmen in suits drinking and speaking fairly loudly. This restaurant has a history of being an intimate, cozy, warm place to eat, and in many ways it still has that ambience, but what it would benefit from is an injection of life by way of a new menu with fresh, forward thinking, truly appetizing entrées, even if, relatively speaking, only a short series of options, as is with the current menu, is on the docket. Four stars for comfort, intimacy and history--- my step grandmother ate her me from the mid-century with some of my cousins. What to do? Choose this place if everything else is closed especially late. Otherwise, walk 3 blocks north on 6th to Rue75. You'll have no regrets, and in this case the prices reflect true quality and the service is exquisite.

Stopped in late night for apps and drinks. Bartender had a heavy pour, so heavy that it affected the taste. Apps were good, not too special.

Ever dream of a cozy quiet bar to have a nice glass of wine that has a perfect NYC atmosphere? This is it.

Great food, I had seafood and a really tasty green salad - excellent and great service. The atmosphere was very nice and very tastefully decorated. Loved it!

The place is nice, they don't serve any food, even a snack. the worse part was the waiter who showed no interest in the customers, was very slow and not communicative. Pitty!

We had an evening meal, and although very busy, we were eventually given a corner table for 4. We had 2 starters and 3 main courses and 3 drinks, After a mix up with another table ( understandably with it being so busy ), we enjoyed the food. It was flavoursome, compliments to the chef, but at a price of $180, it was the most expensive average food we've had.

We checked into the Warwich prior to a Sunday Matinee performance at Carnegie Hall. We popped into Randolph's for a quick lunch before and told them we were in a hurry. Our lunch came and was so delicious....I had three Mini Cheeseburgers with pommes frites, fries were very crunchy and burgers were juicy and delicious....my friend had the Quiche and it was absolutely the best I have ever tasted, she was kind enough to give me a bite. Deep dish crust that melted in your mouth and a rich cheese, egg and shrimp quiche that was light. Expensive but worth every bite. My husband and I loved Randolph's for pre-dinner cocktails but lunch there was a surprise.

Nice atmosphere but 3 people having two drinks should not cost close to $150. Waiters also seem to deliver chips at table on a whim.

My sisters and I recently stayed at the Warwick hotel. Randolph’s service was top notch. Heemel was our favorite. He was the reason we always dropped in for drinks!! He gave the best service!!

This is a quaint little bar that sits at street level with lovely little tables to people watch as you sip your drink. We ordered glasses of wine and were pleased with the serving size. Little bowls of potato chips are given, on the house, when you receive your drink. Our waiter was very friendly and efficient. The bar also serves food too but we didn't dine there. All in all, this is a great little bar. We will definitely be back.

Acknowledged as return customers, we were always greeted in a friendly way, and most importantly, with glasses of Cambria chardy.

Great service. The Cobb salad was lovely and my husband really enjoyed his lobster club sandwich a great find after seeing a Broadway show and a long day

Might have been a bad day but we were not impressed, it was our last day at the Warwick and for what we got (2 lunch entres and 2 coffees with refill) the price did not match the quality. Hotel Yes, Restaurant meh.....

Recently stayed at the Warwick Hotel and Randolph's is located just off the lobby. Great service friendly staff. Special thanks to Christopher for his excellent customer service skills even on a very busy evening. Also thanks to the two friendly ladies who were very helpful in getting our drinks.

I hate giving a bad review and this will be my first. I like to give the restaurant, server, kitchen, manager the benefit of the doubt but there's no way I can do that. We were celebrating my daughter's 30th birthday and my daughter was staying in the Warwick Hotel so we stopped by the restaurant prior to the evenings festivities. We told the waitress we only had an hour and we put in our order. After waiting for 40 minutes I called our waitress over and asked when our order would be out. We hadn't ordered anything extravagant just salads, burgers and flat bread. I explained to our server we'd been waiting 45 minutes and we were pressed for time. The waitress argued with me and told me it had only been 20 minutes. She went back to the kitchen to find out how much longer we were going to have to wait. When she came back she said "I checked the time stamp. You've only been waiting 30 minutes. Your food will be out soon." We waited another 10 minutes for the order to arrive and when it did daughter's and my orders were incorrect, my daughter's mother-in-laws french fries were ice cold and my step-dad's dinner was left out. My daughter and I sent our meals back to be corrected and her mother-in-law's fries to be reheated. We were doubtful we'd have time to eat our meals. The manager came out and told us it wasn't their fault the kitchen was backed up. That wasn't what I wanted to hear. How about I'm sorry how can we make this better. So now the waitress was telling me I couldn't tell time and the manager was telling us the food came out wrong because the kitchen was backed-up. Then the manager came back to the table and started explaining how difficult it was to get a hamburger correct. This was a joke as my son-in-law is an executive sous chef. He told her he never accepts excuses from his servers or kitchen staff. In the long run my daughter and I didn't get to eat our dinners. I was just staying in the city overnight and couldn't take my meal with me. I told our waitress to remove my meal from the bill. The manager did give us a 20% discount but I didn't get to eat. I did taste my husband's Tuna tar tar. It was tasteless.

Although a bit pricey this was attached to our hotel so thought we'd pop in for pre-dinner drinks. The service was nice and the drinks good. We didn't eat here but the food coming out looked good.

We had the price fix lunch. Randolph salad was lovely which I will defiantly replicate at home. Fish tacos very fresh and tasty and creme brûlée I really enjoyed. Chardonnay blend for $7 dollars a glass very reasonably priced and went down very well with the food. This is set in a relaxed, cosy and warm environment and would defiantly recommend!

While staying at the Warwick we stopped for a drink to relax after dinner. We had a 4 hour drive to get to the city so it was nice to relax in the lounge and watch some sports. Service was excellent.

This lounge is located on the ground floor of the Warwick Hotel, on the corner of W. 54th Street and 6th Avenue. It is a dark, wood-paneled room, surrounding a full bar, with mood lighting, carpeting and plush, comfortable leather armchairs. Service is amateurish and spotty. The bar menu is attractive and the quality of the food and drinks is good. The limited wine list by the glass is very good. A great stop after shopping or before the theater.

Great staff! Excellent atmosphere. They make a mean martini! A little loud when it's full, but it's not too bad.

I came here for lunch with a friend because she had a gift card. The place is really cute and we were given our green tea that we ordered. I asked for water and to look at the menu a little longer. Our waitress, Laura, came back and took our order; quesadillas to start, she ordered the Korean chicken and I ordered the poké bowl. At this point we still didn’t get our waters so I asked again. Our appetizer came real quick and it was good. Still no water. So instead of asking Laura we asked Juan. Juan brought over our waters right away. We devoured them and Laura went to go refill the waters of the table next to us and completely ignored our empty glasses. When our meals came out I was given the wrong meal. I was given the poké appetizer and not the bowl. I didn’t make a big deal of it and just ate it. What really was the icing on the cake was when we handed Laura the gift card she asked if we were staying in the hotel and we said no. She rolled her eyes at us and it took her over 20 minutes to give us our check. Don’t waste your time here, sit at the bar if needed but don’t sit in Laura’s section.

We ate lunch at Randolphs Bar and Lounge because we were visiting New York City and staying in the Warwick hotel. The cobb salad was good, a little on the expensive side though. It was convenient because it is located in the Warwick hotel and that is where we were staying. There is no other option for lunch or dinner in the Warwick hotel so that is why we went there.

I had a very bad experience, for no particular reason. My order, chicken salad, came with FISH taste, pieces of fish inside. The food was barely touched, and the attendants took everything away as if it nothing happened. They did not even ask if something went wrong ... Moreover, very expensive. The wine order, by the glass, was lousy. Two salads, two soups, one glass of wine, and one Jack Daniels, USD 180 a couple. Never more...

My husband and I have been coming to NY from the UK for 16 years. We always pay a visit to Randolphs for great cocktails and burgers. The location is amazing on the corner of West 54th St. and 6th Ave. You can sit by the window and watch the hustle and bustle of NY. The atmosphere is worth experiencing. It can sometimes be crowded but we always feel it is worth it.

Great bar!!! Diana is an amazing bartender!!! First female bartender!!! Go see her!! We love her! Her service was a 10!!! Upscale but not arrogant. We had a long day and it was a great place to sit a while. Had the warm olives and cheese board. Always a stop for us in NYC!

Lovely and intimate little bar/restaurant with remarkable staff. Perfect for a chat or for dinner. Can't wait to go back!

I set up a business cocktail party each year at Randolph's It's a high end bar that is impressive. Always enjoy our time there. This year the server seemed overwhelmed. Took a while for him to cover over to take orders and then quite a while to get your drinks. Wax nice but just not GOP notch which is what I expect here

We stopped in for drinks after a show and ended up having dinner in the bar. The atmosphere and service were great, excellent wine selection, good food.

This is a gem right across the street from MOMA. The service is friendly and competent, the menu has something for everyone, and the food is excellent, as are drinks and the wine selection. It is a very comfortable place, whether enjoying a drink or dining.

I happen to love eating in restaurants in the hotel I am residing. . . Even when surrounded by what are considered the top restaurants in the city. Sometimes just don't want to make the effort after a long day. Unfortunately, many not that great. Here's what I like about Randolphs. It is small with a small, but varied menu. The food is excellent, as is the service. Most of the people dining are staying in the hotel, which creates an almost European flavor of friendliness. Comfort.

Nice bar lounge which really feels like going back in time. Menu caters for all tastes, lots of comfort food. Great creme brûlée!

We entered this restaurant as an attempt to hide from the nyc cold and ended up having a great experience! The burger are really good and I loved the french onion soup!! I would definitely recommend it if you are looking for a good, quick dinner in the city!

I was staying at the hotel attached so was in this bar several times. Twice I waited 20min for a server to even acknowledge I was there. Then they forgot my order and I ended up just ordering at the bar. I think they need to step up there service as its a lovely bar but if your looking for a quick drink this isn't the place unless your directly in front of the bar. As it takes forever to get anything. Also several of the waitresses were quite snappy with our party as well. Interrupting and being rude with us.

We ate here twice, the first when we had just flown in from Australia and once two days later. I enjoyed the martinis. The food was adequate and the service good

My husband and I are in NYC attending a business meeting and have extended our stay as we have never visited New York before. We found Randolphs and thought it look nice and somewhere we could enjoy a meal. We went in and waited by the ‘Wait here to be Seated’ sign. There were 3 waiters serving customers and none of them gave eye contact. That’s ok we thought, they are busy and was sure someone would come over. Oh how wrong we were. 3 members of staff walked back and forth and not 1 of them spoke to us, gave eye contact or said that they would be with us shortly. We must have been standing there 20 minutes! At one point one of the waiters came over to the cupboard near to where we were standing and still didn’t speak to us. I did say excuse me do you have a table and the waiter just blanked us. Never before have we been treated this way in a restaurant. In the end we walked out and went and visited Rue 57, fantastic Restaurant. We will be coming back to New York and you can be certain we will never set foot in Randolphs and we won’t be recommending it to our colleagues.

we enjoyed several dinners here after sightseeing, great to be in our own hotel, food was hot and very good, server was very pleasant

We were guests in the hotel on a record-breaking cold night, so settling into comfy leather chairs in the window was a great alternative to going out looking for something. They had a nice variety of large and small items -- the flatbread, cheese plate, and Caesar salads were all good. No bargain, but right on par with NYC for what we got.

This restaurant/bar has always been a wonderful place to have an afternoon drink, or cheese tray, or burger sliders, etc. Now the new management team has evidently decided not to open the restaurant until 5:30. So, after shopping, or walking around town, you cannot come back and get anything until 5:30...Very disappointing in an always fun environment in the hotel

The food and bar is good. The only issue was slow and not attentive service but we'd go again. Great location.

Fun, cozy, great buzz, EXCELLENT SERVICE! We love this spot for Happy Hour, after theater, ANYTIME! Don't miss the fabulous wings, burger, French onion soup! The Maitre D', greeted us with gracious hospitality and he IS the BEST reproduction this establishment!

So we went here on the first night of our New York Visit. We arrived in the early evening and were hungry. Since we were staying at the hotel, we decided to go to Randolph's. This is an open seating place. The only issue with that is there are more people wanting to get in as there are places to sit. I am happy we got in the first night. We were not able to get into the lounge the next 3 nights there. This was not a major problem because our fist visit to Randolph's was good enough for the rest of our trip. The service is amazing, once you get a seat. The food was nicely done. I ate a hamburger, and the wife ate flatbread. Both were done well. We also ordered a coffee. Watch out because they are serious on the coffee. It was strong, but flavorful. It is a bar and lounge, but the server did not make a big deal about us not drinking the cocktails there, which looked beautiful. The setting of the lounge was something out of an old Christmas movie. The decorations and windows were set up beautifully. If you can get in then go there. What I liked about it is that I can charge it to the room since I was staying there. It was also relaxing. There wasn't a hurry up and finish vibe. It was more, how are you doing and enjoy yourself vibe. I wish I new our waiter's name because he was the reason that a great tree when above and beyond. He was a tall guy with a beard. If you are staying at the Warwick, and there is space at Randolph's, then have a chance to go there. I hope you liked it as much as I did.

We went to have a good sting just after a show. Good ambience, friendly people. Nice place to watch a game, hangout with adults friends and a couple.

I was invited by a friend to this place. I loved the site and we could have a great talk. Although the food took quite long, drink service was fast and the ambient lighting and music makes a fantastic atmosphere to chat, so it was great. The food was awesome, really!

Had a late supper at the restaurant in the hotel where we started our married life together. Romantic

All 4 cocktails we ordered tasted like absolute donkey dick. Luckily the tap beer was fine and the bar tender was nice-ish?

We went for a drink and dinner. The bar was very nice. We found a table that was some what private and had a drink. The food was great! The service was very good.

while exploring NYC we stopped in the Warwick for a drink at Randolph's to take a break from exploring 54th street. we found this bar to have super service and a good selection of food and drinks in a very comfortable setting

An evening dinner here is convenient and top quality. you sacrifice nothing in this food town by dining at randolph's.

We came to Randolph's for a Late-Night After Theater Supper on the 30th of September. Our party of three arrived only 30 minutes or so before closing. Our servers were most attentive and made us feel so very welcome. The Fish and Chips were outstanding. The Cobb Salad and 54th Street Burger were delicious. I did not expect such delicious food and wonderful service right before closing.

My friend and I stopped for drinks late on a Thursday afternoon. After seating ourselves, we waited ten minutes for someone to recognize us as servers rushed by. After finally flagging someone down, we ordered a glass of Chardonnay and a Virgin Mary, easy on the spices. We waited another 15 minutes to receive our drinks, when the waiter brought a very hot and spicy Bloody Mary and a glass of red wine. Oops! Server had to go back for a Chardonnay. I had to chase down my own cocktail napkins. This has always been my go-to place in midtown for drinks so I was quite surprised at how awful it was. A bad day? Perhaps. But there are a gazillion bars in New York. Next time I will try one of them.

Exactly what you want in a hotel lounge - honest drinks, served with a bowl of potato chips if you want, and good food. We went here several times during our stay at the Warwick. Prompt service, especially for a hotel lounge. The burgers are big enough to split and will get you through a show without hunger pangs.

Took my daughter here for lucnch after the Moma. Our burgers was so delishish and we had the best people watching seat viewing on the Avenue.

Stayed at Warwick and spent afternoon at Randolph's and the staff was polite and very open to making any specialty drink we wanted. Very hospitable!

My wife Lily and I were staying in the Hotel, and used the bar as a late night drinking treat. - We have stayed at the Hotel before, 4 times now. This lovely little place is brilliant, huge atmosphere! great to sit and chat, Chris and Frank etc are a credit to the place, and are super hosts.. Customers are a mix of locals and guests, one such evening during our stay, a certain local who once owned a model agency, was whisked off her feet by a gentleman who was visiting the bar after a nearby party, turns out he is a judge from a US dance/talent show, and he taught her some dance moves to the delight of the clientele! Thanks to all for making our stay wonderful!

Staying In The area? You don't need to stay in the hotel to enjoy this spot. Located across from the Hilton and inside the Warwick hotel, this place really makes me feel special and relaxes me with a good whiskey while I people watch with a client or catch up with paper work. Really old school NYC romance here. Late night or start off spot prior to a show. If staying in the area, check it ou

Randolphs offers comfort and good food in a cozy space. Unfortunately this means that at times it is crowded and one is unable to gat a table. Otherwise it is a pleasant refined atmosphere. Located in the warwick hotel where I was guest I was was disappointed several times in being unable to find a table so that I had to go elsewhere.

Street entrance but also connected to the lobby at the Warwick Hotel. Excellent service, good drinks, and good food. As a Warwick guest, this was an easy choice to go and relax, however, there are lots of locals that frequent the location. Definitely a keeper.

An average lunch for an average NYC price. The sting in the tail was the fact that I left my reading glasses there and was told to get them back would cost around 70 dollars to fedex them to Boston within the next four days. They wanted an email with credit card details which would give me no control over the amount taken. When I checked my hotel in Boston they quoted 20 dollars max for the next day service. So they were either way out on their fedex prices or wanted 60 dollars for the trouble. It's how places handle the small or unusual things I tend to judge so no marks here.

Have drinks and dinner here-you will not be disappointed in drinks, food or service. Great burgers and wine list.

Staying at the Warwick Hotel and with a 2:00 p.m. recital to hear just around the corner at Carnegie Hall, I opted to have a quick meal in the hotel’s signature restaurant before aurally feasting on Brahms, Duparc and Rachmaninoff. Wonderfully quiet to start, it took a few minutes for staff to realize I was here to eat and drink--not just a leftover from the breakfast set. The Manhattan soothed my nerves but lacked bite. Bits of food on the water glass were both surprising and disappointing for this upscale eatery (the replacement only marginally better: “It’s just bits of lemon,” rejoinder from my server failed to assuage the previous damage). For once, bottled water seemed wise. After some table confusion about who was eating what (my next-door companions valiantly displaying their New York Half-Marathon medals), the chicken enchiladas arrived: fresh, warm and tasty. A glass of Erath Pinot Gris (2014, Oregon) matched the light lunch well and I was on my way to artistic greatness leaving a full glass of water behind.

Very expensive drinks. The night we were there the bartender was a stand in. He did not know how to make many of the drinks that were requested and even had trouble distinguishing the difference between red and white wines.

Loved the flatbread pizzas, but very disappointed with the cost over priced cost of the wine, which put a damper on the evening, having said that the weather was so bad - snow and freezing temperatures, we were not in the mood to go elsewhere

Randolph’s is one of my favorites. Comfortable, friendly and excellent service. Food and cocktails are both recommended!

NYC is pricey and this is no exception. However, if you have the opportunity to stop by Randolph's, sit and relax and enjoy the historic location. This was THE place back in the glamorous 40's and 30's for Broadway royalty.

Great bar in the hotel Warwick. We found plenty of seating for 8 or us and the service was very good. The only problem is that they do not open the bar until 5pm and several of us got out of our meeting early and had to stand around waiting.

We are staying at The Warwick for 4 nights and after a long day stopped at the bar for a couple of drinks on the way up to the room. There were no other people whatsoever sitting at the bar. The bartender, an older gentleman, was standing behind the bar but did not greet us or acknowledge us. Instead he turned his back to us and stared off to the side of the bar. We waited there for at least a few minutes and he still did not acknowledge us. He would glance up at is but then do some task behind the bar. After about five minutes we got up and left. This was extremely insulting. When we were the only people at the bar I don't think Its too much to ask to simply be acknowledged. This left a very bad taste in our mouth with this hotel and bar.

I had dinner and lunch at Randolph's and really enjoyed both. Neither the Spicy shrimp salad nor the Cajun chicken sandwich were overly spiced but both were very good. Service (thanks Laura and Jessica) was terrific and friendly. I loved the decor--all that leather and dark wood--and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming.

Wish I had tried dinner here - we were at the bar for a drink. Fast, professional service - they need to train the staff in the other restaurant in the hotel to be up to par with Randolph's.

Food service until 11PM. Outstanding wait staff. A great view of 6th Avenue. Good selection of beers and spirits. Lots of room for a large party, too.

We ate lunch here and enjoyed our meal. I had the Randolph's salad and it was delicious. The atmosphere is very relaxing and comfortable. The prices are comparable with other restaurants in the area.

Arrived at noon when the restaurant opened. Waiter was knocking over the silverware and glasses. Food arrived after one hour and wasn't even warm. Two groups of 6 & 8 with screaming, ill behaving young kids with no indoor voices..Dads are drinking and ignoring their kids running around while wives are out shopping. Did not enjoy the atmosphere when parents aren't mindful of their kids and inconsiderate of other diners. As I was writing the review in the restaurant the waiter (Christopher) came over to apologize (kitchen sends food up from the basement) and complained to his manager of the lateness of the food, etc. and advised us that the manager said not to charge us at all. For his effort we tipped him $20.

On the week end when one has shopped enough, go to Randolph for a small bit or late lunch. It is well located, lively and the food is fine.

this is the one thing that The Warwick Hotel is missing.. a good lobby bar... bar staff are good and friendly but just too stuffy and dark..

The service at the restaurant was a very slow. They were packed. It was exceptionally loud when we were in there. My husband ordered the grilled cheese and soup and could not stop raving about it. I ordered a salad and it was delicious, just over dressed so if you like a salad with less dressing just ask for it on the side.

Just stopped in for a beer, and Frank was really nice to chat with. Great place for people watching - just take a table by any window.

This is the bar at The Warwick Hotel. Nicely appointed but a couple of Sam Adams beers were $21.78 without tip so a bit overpriced in my opinion.

Lunch on a Friday. Wait staff was a bit overwhelmed (and appeared understaffed - felt sorry for them) but food was very good.

Great place to have a drink and a little snack at the end of the day. Not too far from MoMA. So right after an exhibition you can go there to chill. When asking my grandfather what he likes about this place, he said ''I like to soak in the atmosphere''. I couldn't agree more with him. Also, this is the place where Cary Grant used to stay when he came to NYC.

We enjoyed Randolph's. Great location with wonderful drinks and food. Fine wait staff with nice bar, comfortable sofas and tables.

We had dinner here one evening during our trip to Manhattan. Our food was ok, if not exciting, and the service was courteous and attentive. I liked the dark clubby decor. It's very near to Times Square, beside the Warwick, and can be lively and busy.

We ate there 3 times, 2 out of the 3 times the service was very slow. It took15 minutes before anyone even acknowledged we were there. Took almost 2 hours to get a cheeseburger and soup. Food is good, staff is friendly, but just slow.

This is a special place for us, made particularly so by Ermeel. He has the chardonnay and the pretzels on the table even before we have sat down. And when you do sit down, you can enjoy watching New York going by, the accompaniment of the sounds of horns and sirens. When you're in Randolph's, you're in New York.

This a cozy and very comfortable lounge with good service and a very nice snack menu with very good food.

The food and tmosphere is very good. Drinks are reasonably priced. One criticism is that it is always very crowded. If you get a table you are very lucky. People sit for hours. I just wish the place was bigger. We sat at the bar one night and enjoyed conversation with the friendly bartender.

During our stay in Warwick we have tried various starters and entrees, all plates were good. The first evening the service was not good at all, the manager took the time to listen to our complaints, and she was very good in to understand and the problem. We agreed to try another evening, and believe me, the service was TIP TOP. Many thanks to the manager who is real profesional, and lady next time we will diner again in your restaurant!!

We had a family reunion in NYC and stayed in the Warwick Hotel. Each evening after other activities were over we retired to this hotel bar. It has nothing in particular to recommend it. The drinks and food were overpriced. The atmosphere was quite noisy making it difficult to talk.

We ate here twice 5 years ago so were happy to return while at a conference in NYC. Lovely ambience, excellent service, wines by the glass. We had cheeseburger with fries which was far from pedestrian. Cooked perfectly to order. Fries were excellent. We would have returned, but conference was too short! We thought the prices were normal for NYC.

It was a rainy end of day and as tourists, we wanted to sit and dry out and have a drink. Sat at the bar. Great martinis. Decided to stay for dinner; stayed at the bar. Had great meals, good and attentive service, and a couple of great conversations. The room, too, is cozy and just felt good. It's worth the visit.

After a day of travel, I stopped in for a quick, but tasty meal. The food was good, the beverage better than average and the service was stellar.

Great food and drinks, especially the small plates! An excellent place to grab a bite before a show! A real plus for staying at the Warwick!

A great place to meet friends for a drink or a quick bite. As I often stay at the Warwick New York I usually end the day here for a night cap.

We’ve been to Randolph’s several times as it’s a cozy retro hotel lobby bar near where we like to stay when we go to the city and stay at a nearby hotel. Tonight, we arrived at a little after 5pm and were not even acknowledged for 15minutesor so. We were then told by a sever going off duty that our server was running late but would be with us shortly. No offer to take our order or anything though. Around 5:35 or so, my husband went to the bar to place our order himself. While he was there, the manager came over to me after visiting tables that came much after us. He tried to explain to me that it was a union staff and he couldn’t assign our table to other severs. Seriously? The only redeeming person in this establishment was the female bartender who realized how ridiculous the situation was and who comped our drinks. We won’t be back any time soon.

Large cozy leather chairs while sipping your drink make you feel like you are in another era. This little gem is located in the Warwick Hotel. They have excellent food, great drinks, and pretty good service. Its a new favorite for us.

Arrived to be seated in a very nice not too busy area, warm, lovely ambiance and friendly lounge. We shared a plate which was perfect for a lovely lunch, waitress was very friendly. We will definitely come back to this place when next in NY and would highly recommend!!

As I was staying at the Warwick trying Randolph's was just a matter of time. The place offers a great view of the 6th avenue as it sits at the corner with 54th. So you don't get bored watching people pass by. Randolph's has an old looking interior design decoration, yet it is clean and has plenty of natural light. The service was good. I ordered a burger which was tasty.

I tend to write reviews, when I really like a place and I want to thank them for a great evening. This time it's different. We stayed at the Warwick - so the Randolph's Bar was an obvious choice. However, you notice that something is wrong, when a) the waiter's answer to "Do you have alcohol free cocktails?" is "Yes, soft drinks" and to the 2nd try "I am searching for something more fruity" the answer is "Yes, we have juice" b) the first time, you get a Whisky-Sour the lemon juice is missing ... and the second time it's still not close to the actual recipe c) the bar & lounge does not offer any chips, nuts or anything to nibble after the kitchen is closed It's good to get a beer or a glass of wine, but I do expect much more from a location that calls itself "Bar & Lounge"

Walking past on a cold night and this bar looked really cosy and warm from the street. My husband had yet to have a Manhattan so he tried that and really enjoyed it. I tried a couple of their other speciality cocktails from the menu. They were good but very strong - we had two drinks each and felt really tipsy (which is not normal for us). Our waitress was really friendly and we enjoyed the atmosphere in here.

First visit here and first time in nyc. Walked into this bar as it looked welcoming only to be greeted by the most rude and unwelcoming member of staff ever!! Only asked if a table was free and we got a curt reply “yes” and a complete eye roll as he walked away! Walked straight out the other side door! So rude and unnecessary.

and great service too. Perfect warm little lounge overlooking 6th Ave at 54th ST. in the Warwick Hotel. Super comfy leather chairs and sofas, fun people watching out their windows and great drinks, beers and food. Try it, you are sure to like it!

Would not normally see this as a destination restaurant but was staying at the Warwick and this suited a quick lunch - good value for a fixed price lunch and better than the tourist traps in nearby streets,

Generally, we avoid hotel bars and restaurants. They're expensive and usually the food isn't as good as other places. Our goofy plane schedule and the need for a close place for lunch with a friend drove us into Randolph's twice. It was a welcome surprise. When we arrived, we had drinks and some charcuterie. The drinks were pricy, but strong. The meats and cheeses were excellent. The next day we met a friend for lunch there. It was perfect. The tables are not cramped and the noise level was never noticeable. The food was excellent too. We all had burgers and fries, but they were wonderful and priced like other restaurants (not counting fast food places). It was a nice afternoon. The drink prices are high even for NYC and they seemed understaffed the two times we were there. One server was dealing with the whole room each time and the room was almost full both times. If you're near MOMA and want a quiet place for lunch, check it out. It's in The Warwick Hotel.

I ordered a rare steak. I got a medium steak. The fries were terrible. The service was decent. The vibe at the bar was okay. It is a comfortable room to hang out in. I am very unlikely to ever return.

Much less stuffy than other upscale hotel bars. Bustling but quiet and the staff is wonderful, especially Frank and Susan.

Stopped in for a late nite bite. Pleasant old fashioned NYC hotel bar. Very busy at 11 pm. We started with a glass of Prosecco and and Old Fashioned. The Old Fashioned was perfectly prepared. I had a bowl of the French onion soup. Well prepared with plenty of cheese. My wife had a tomato flatbread. It was pretty. bland. Great service and atmosphere.

We were fortunate enough to be staying at The Warwick hotel, which is a fantastic hotel in mid Manhattan. The icing on the cake, after a long journey, was Randolph's Bar, situated in the hotel reception area. What a treat it was, full of comfy armchairs and sofas to chill out on after a full day walking around NY, with window seats to people watch. The bar menu has a good choice and the food is freshly prepared. Not least, the staff are wonderful and Chris our waiter, remembered our order in the third visit. Well worth a visit.

Attached to the Warwick Hotel. Sophisticated. Very comfortable. Great desserts ($10). Wine ran $17 but that seems to be the going rate on that end of town. Pretty view.

Great place, especially in the summer, to sit outside, and enjoy the nice bites, and wines they serve.

We went here to meet friends for drinks.. it is very warm and cozy and the service was good. The prices are very expensive.... went here in the winter and they had live piano music which was great during the cold holiday season... It is a nice stop and attached to the Warwick Hotel in a great location... Overall good service, nice place

This is a great spot for lunch or drinks, several good beers on tap. The waiter brought out freshly prepared potato chips gratis.

I had a lunch there. Interior is great and reasonable prices, however the food was served with 30 minutes delay. The food was ok, but the delay spoiled everything. I will say that this place works more as bar than place to eat lunch or dinner there!

We came for dinner and felt like we were an imposition on the waitress. She showed occasionally and was efficient when she showed. Was hoping to watch a bit of the football bowl came on the TV's, but the 2 tv's have to show the same game - so some locals that wanted to watch the Knicks kept the bowl game off the screen (really, both screens HAVE to show the same game? get some real technology in the bar). Waitress was happy to take our drink order, but I had practically had to lasso her to also place a food order. We had the angus burger, the tuna tartare and the cobb salad. Every single one of the food items was excellent. It's New York city, so the food is insanely expensive (the tuna tartare appetizer is $25). One of my fave scotches is Glenmorangie, its' on the list, but they were out. How are you out of a scotch? it comes in bottles and they are delivered daily. Any way - it's a mixed bag. Grumpy old guy rating - Thumbs up-ish.

Look, I hate giving bad reviews, but this one is deserved. Ordered the skirt steak salad, which the menu describes as "petite greens, golden beets, baby turnips, asparagus, fava beans, radishes, shaved fennel, lemon balsamic dressing". Yum. Salad arrives missing the beets, turnips, fava beans and fennel. Skirt steak on a bed of greens with tomatoes, carrots, radishes and asparaus. The manager says whoops they forgot the shaved fennel and brings that in a side dish. Um... what about my golden beets?! And my fava beans? Sorry, this is a now completely different dish and frankly, not one I'd have ordered, although the steak was good and I was craving meat... The waiter was very apologetic and offered a glass of wine on the house, which was accepted. However, was expecting the one I'd ordered to be comped on the bill, instead of the second glass I got! Oh well, I drank half of it and now...in vino veritas.

We travel a few times a year to the city and always make it a point to have lunch here. The atmosphere is comfortable, the cocktails and food delicious. We always try something new to eat, but stick by our traditional cocktails. On our recent visit my husband ordered the Club Sandwich which was huge and very good. A Cuban panini was the special and boy was it SPECIAL! I was expecting a grill flattened panini sandwich....and received the most delicious Cuban sandwich that I've ever had (and I try them wherever I am, all of the time) It wasn't a flattened grilled panini at all. It was served on a delicious brioche sub bun and the traditional Cuban ingredients were absolutely amazing. Best Cuban I've ever had hands down! Best sandwich I've ever had hands down! It is my hope that they add it to the lunch menu permanently as I will be wanting another on our next visit.

When staying at the Warwick, be sure to stop in the the Randolph lounge. It is a charming old school bar where you can enjoy your drinks as you relax in the charming surroundings.

We decided to grab and quick bite to eat at Randolph’s to escape the fall chill and quite frankly it was colder inside Randolph’s than outside. The air conditioning was blowing right down on us during our entire meal and asked to have it turned down and they never responded to our request. The entrees were mediocre at best and didn’t impress us much. The Cobb Salad and Chicken Schnitzel was ok. I can’t say we’ll be back anytime soon. Very expensive lunch!

Horrible service. Had to round up our own chairs for empty table from other areas. Long wait to place order. Had to track down and hand credit card to waiter for payment after leaving card on table over 20 minutes. Others appeared to get same bad service. Bad food. Cheesecake was dry. Coffee filled with coffee grounds. Wine was ok. Bad facilities. Sink faucet wouldn't work in ladies bathroom.

I stayed in the Hotel which is related to the bar. I was too tired to look for a nice restaurant and decided to go into the bar and eat a burger. The service was nice, the food not too expensive and it was possible to eat the burger. It was not the best I ever had but was ok.

We had pre theater supper here. Service was terrible and lamb burger was tasteless. It was over cooked and very dry. Served with mealy fries. Never again!

Was walking by and thought I would check into this place. Just wanted to grab a quick lunch and make a 2pm meting. Headed to the bar and didn’t get any attention for a bit. Then ordered a basic burger and waited 25 mins for it and it came with the wrong cheese and the burger was average. No time to wait for another burger so had to live with it. Anytime your paying $22 for a burger, the place needs to get the service and burger right. Disappointing. Won’t be back. I would recommend you try one of the many other options in the area. I don’t review poorly very often but here it is.

this brasserie is in the warwick hotel. so if you just want the convenience of locality this is it. very nice!

You can get a great little meal (flatbreads are delicious) along with drinks or just drinks. Some standard table set-ups, but also some great big sofas and chairs to sink into.

This is a great place to take a break if you're walking around midtown Manhattan. It's unpretentious and comfortable, with leather club chairs and sofas. You can have lunch or appetizers, or just a drink. We never would have found this place if we weren't staying in the hotel, but now I'm glad I know about it.

This is part of the Warwick Hotel and very convenient location. Drinks are good, food is good and the service is typically excellent.

Last night of our holiday and wish we had gone to Randolph’s earlier. Decor is fabulous, classic and elegant. Service was very friendly and attentive. Seated next to the window which was great as I love people watching and at the end of the meal I realised I hadn’t looked out once as the meal was that enjoyable. 2 has the strip steak and truffle fries, both cooked to perfection, excellent sized portions and amendments to sauces and sides came out correct. I had the half a rack of St Louis ribs, simply heavenly and the slaw on the side was the best I have had. Has children’s menu which was good. Wine selection was good and Riesling went down well. Overall a very enjoyable meal just a shame we didn’t try this earlier.

Randolph's is one of my favorite NYC bars. With comfortable upholstered chairs and sofas, you can relax and enjoy drinks and light fare with family or friends. The professional wait staff is efficient, and the mixologists know their stuff! Instead of nuts or chips, I usually splurge with the sensational lobster roll ,or order other tasty small plates to snack on while embibing! Their walls of windows facing 54th street and 6th Avenue are great for people watching, and at holiday time, provide a festive ambiance. Randolph's is a classy bar in a high class hotel, that visitors enjoy and remember as part of their true New York experience.

Very bad service, i was staying at the Warwick hotel, i went for 4 days for dinner and lunch. Here are the things that i have faced: 1- service very bad: you need to call the waiter/waitress more than 6 times to get your order or to request the bill. 2- waitress doesn't want to clean the table even after i told her 3- No big choices in the menu

A good bar menu is also offered at this cozy place. Comfortable leather and cloth covered chairs and sofas with tables for light dining abound. The staff is attentive. Randolph's is very popular at cocktail/pre theater time--plan ahead!

We stayed at the Warwick and had made reservations for dinner elsewhere. Following exhausting hours of walking around the city, we decided to remain close to home. Imagine our surprise at our gracious hostess making it possible for us, at 10:30 p.m. to have a delicious double pork chop on melted polenta meal, with fine Cab Sauv and the noisemakers, hats and celebratory tools to bring in the New Year.

We had pleasant memories of lunch here in the past, but today's visit was poor beyond appaling. Forty five minutes after ordering our food we saw other patrons who arrived after us being served their food, but still no sign of ours. Waiter could only apologise and confirmed how long we were waiting. We left, not to return again. Bad show.

Visited Randolph's for the 4-5th time during a visit to NYC with my boyfriend, where we actually caught up with old friends over a few drinks and a snack. Located in the Warwick Hotel, it's a convenient location in the heart of Midtown. As always, we sat in comfortable club chairs, and relaxed, while perusing the extensive wine & cocktail list. Servers are attentive but not over bearing, and even when in the weeds, are readily available. Randolph's has a nice selection on their lunch/afternoon menu, and their prices are what's expected for NYC. There is not a dedicated gluten free section, but servers are happy to accommodate allergies and diner preferences, and will go above and beyond for patron satisfaction. Our server went so far as to check with the room service kitchen in The adjoining Warwick Hotel to find a suitable gluten free sauce for me to use with my fish. Definitely above and beyond what was expected. Expect comfortable seating, good service, and a variety of diners from business meeting types, to families, and you won't be disappointed! Randolph's is on my must visit list permanently, each time I visit the city!

Great drinks, but not enough seats, bartenders or waitresses for the crowd. Bar is in the Warwick Hotel.

The Randolph is nicely located in midtown. The atmosphere is lively and fun, but the service is not great. It took a lot of effort to get a waiter's attention. They clearly are understaffed. But, if you are looking for a leisurely visit with friends, this a great place.

We stopped in after a day at Moma. We were all wearing t-shirts and the first thing that we noticed was that everyone else was wearing sports coats. The staff paid no attention to our attire. They were over the top friendly and attentive. The food was good enough but over priced. The staff though is spectacular.

Randolph's Bar & Lounge is a wonderful place for a drink and meal and is part of the famous hotel, The Warwick, located on 54th Street at 6th Avenue (Avenue of the Americas). The Warwick has been a noted haunt of celebrities over the years, but the attraction for me is the atmosphere of Randolph's. It is an old style bar right on 6th Avenue that you can sit in, relax and watch the world go by outside on the busy streets of Manhattan. Randolph's is a favourite whenever I've had a long day and need to relax with a beer and a bite -- my favourite being their pretty great and traditional Club Sandwich. Well worth a visit as it is one of the iconic bars of New York City.

The most shocking service I have ever experienced. Staff were indifferent, unhelpful, slow and seemingly careless. While I have seen that kind of service many times in Russia, it is most unusual for the US.

Situated on the corner as it is one has a view of NYC life as it passes by in its endless procession! Worth a visit.

Nice place to stop for a drink and a nosh after an event at City Center. Comfy chairs and nice atmosphere.

I stayed in the Hotel which is related to the bar. I was too tired to look for a nice restaurant and decided to go into the bar and eat a burger. The service was nice, the food not too expensive and it was possible to eat the burger. It was not the best I ever had but was ok.

The menu seemed a bit limited and there was nothing very light on the menu to snack on. the Randlolph is the bar in the Warwick Hotel, and I would have expected that there would have been a small 'something' to have with afternoon tea (I hope that this doesn't sound too English!) However, we loved the atmosphere nd most of the waiting staff were lovely.

If you are staying at Warwick, this is a very convenient place for a drink or a quick afternoon bite. We had some Manhattans, and steak with side salad and veggies. The steak was pretty good for the price ($34 for 8 ounce NY strip). Not as flavorful as 21 Club or other high end restaurants, but very passable for a bar.

We finally were able to get a table for four, got good service, solid pour drinks with a good wine selection. The bar is small, but the view out is amazing from the corner location. Equivalent in prices to other NYC hotel lounge, always has been on of our favorites to visit. The French Onion Soup is amazing.

Convenient place to eat when staying at the Warwick. The food is excellent but I thought a little on the pricey side for what it is.

Is a classic bar dress, you can seat in any place and a service of attend waiter bring to you a little dishes with the order, located in the lower part of a Warwick hotel in the 6th ave. Warm site for stay quiet and with a confort of a nice ambient.

Dropped by after mid-day shopping. Friendly prompt service. Good selection of beer and wine. A glass of wine $20, beer $10.

Although we did not stay in the hotel, we thoroughly enjoyed Randolph's bar. It's a bit crowded but it's NYC. We had the pleasure of sitting on leather sofa and chairs around a small table and enjoyed some very good wine and great appetizers. The calamari was excellent.
Great place to meet for appetizers and drinks!
We met family here before a Broadway show, and had tasty appetizers and drinks to hold us over until dinner after the show. The service and atmosphere were great.
